- 0:01There's a lot changing on the landscape for silver and gold
- 0:05right now, and we can figure it out.
- 0:09In this video, we're going to talk about the 10 year bull
- 0:13market for gold and silver. Are we in year one, maybe year
- 0:192? We'll dig into that one.
- 0:21But major, major news story this week will be Friday's Jerome
- 0:26Powell, Excuse me, appearance at the Jackson Hole.
- 0:30Conference, I'm going to tell you what to expect with that our
- 0:34old friend Jerome Powell. Also, you've been hearing a lot
- 0:39about this new. Battery from Samsung A new
- 0:42solid-state battery that could use.
- 0:45Pretty much all the world's silver up.
- 0:47It's shaking up the EV world. We're going to dig into that one
- 0:50as well. But first and foremost, thank
- 0:53you for joining me here today. It's a big deal when you join me
- 0:57here in the basement. I feel like we're we're
- 0:59together. I'm not so lonely anymore.
- 1:01Hopefully you're not so lonely either.
- 1:04And on top of that, we love to talk about silver.
- 1:06We love to talk about gold. So please subscribe to the
- 1:10channel and when you subscribe or if you've already subscribed,
- 1:14make sure you turn on that little bell.
- 1:16Go find the subscribe button, look at the options.
- 1:19There's a little bell you can push.
- 1:21I get a lot of you e-mail me saying, hey, I don't get
- 1:24notified when you go live. I don't get notified when you
- 1:27put out a new video. You have to press the bell
- 1:30notification. Otherwise you could miss
- 1:32something and we don't want to miss you.
- 1:33You're important. And on that note, leave a
- 1:35comment. I'll talk about a one of your
- 1:38comments. Maybe it's your comment from
- 1:40earlier. OK, that makes a lot of sense
- 1:43about what we're dealing with right now in the precious metals
- 1:47markets. But let's go take a look.
- 1:49Let's look at the 10 year bull market.
- 1:51Did you guys check? Out you know what first what we
- 1:54should do is go do an update on the gold and silver prize gold.
- 2:00Now this is not up to date. I'm going to press the the magic
- 2:03pin backs button here and we're going to get an up to date
- 2:05number. OK, gold down $8.
- 2:07It was down almost $20 per oz earlier.
- 2:10Wow. Look at silver, you guys.
- 2:13You want to know what's going on with silver right now?
- 2:16Silver is following copper. Let's go over to ceo.ca.
- 2:22If you look here, let's do an update.
- 2:26Yeah, as you can see, right, the copper price up .6%, silver up
- 2:321.3%. Silver's not going to follow
- 2:35copper exactly. But lately there's been a strong
- 2:38Co relation, a strong relationship between the copper
- 2:41price and the silver price, a little bit more than what we're
- 2:44used to, right. Usually we just follow gold and
- 2:47gold is still the granddaddy and gold will win the day and gold
- 2:51will eventually have more of an impact on the silver price.
- 2:55But for right now, now for some reason silver is following the
- 3:00copper price much more quickly. Now let's talk about this ten
- 3:04year bull market that we're in for gold and Silver 10.
- 3:08Years and I want to show you a couple charts.
- 3:12That are going to get you very, very excited.
- 3:14Let's go take a look at this one first.
- 3:17This is an oldie, but a goodie, but something we need to
- 3:20remember. This is a 10 year chart.
- 3:22You can see along the bottom the horizontal line starts at year
- 3:26zero and goes to year 10. We are, well we're not I, I need
- 3:31to update this chart. We are more at one of the peaks
- 3:34right now, but we got to remember guys, bull markets will
- 3:38have pullbacks. That's the whole point of me
- 3:41showing you this. We will have pullbacks, but the
- 3:44important component is that we remain in an upward trajectory.
- 3:49Now I want to go look at the gold chart and I want to show
- 3:53you what a 10 year bull market looks like started in 2000,
- 3:582001. This is the price of gold by the
- 4:02way, over on the left hand side where you can see the little
- 4:05plus sign, you can see gold will say was about, we'll
- 4:09conservatively say about $300.00 per oz.
- 4:12During that 10 year period, the price of gold went from Excuse
- 4:19me, I didn't sing before I came on.
- 4:24Went from $300.00 an ounce all the way over a 10 year period up
- 4:28to almost $2000 per oz, a sevenfold at minimum increase
- 4:34during that 10 year period. I believe we could be.
- 4:38Somewhere in here right now, maybe right there, right?
- 4:41We're in 2002. Gold had a little peak guys.
- 4:44It's a long term game if we are indeed at the beginning phases
- 4:49of this. What we will see next, what
- 4:51happened during that 10 year period?
- 4:54Which very likely could happen now in both nominal right just
- 4:58number and real terms is a 10 year bear market in the US
- 5:04dollar. We know, OK, in real terms, it's
- 5:08undeniable that we're going to have that 10 year bear market in
- 5:13the US dollar. Mathematics are on our side.
- 5:15Calculators around the world agree with us because we know
- 5:20the precarious situation that the United States is in from a,
- 5:25from a fiscal, from AUS debt perspective, deficits that are
- 5:29now, you know, trillion, that's what, a trillion dollars every
- 5:3290 days now? It's.
- 5:34Undeniable that in real terms we will have a bear market in the
- 5:39US dollar and a bull market in gold.
- 5:42And there's so much going on. Wait till you wait.
- 5:44Wait till a. Little bit later, we're going to
- 5:46go through the list of major, I mean massive, scary, shocking,
- 5:53jolting things components that we're dealing with you and I
- 5:58right now in the world that could have have big, big, big
- 6:02impacts on the silver and gold price.
- 6:04I want to zoom over here while we have gold up and just show
- 6:07you that goes through today, guys, I think that let me draw a
- 6:13line on here just because we want to.
- 6:15Let's celebrate while we can, right?
- 6:18We have got such an upward trend in support line in gold, even if
- 6:25gold does fall back, OK, to me the critical level now.
- 6:30And Can you believe? We're saying this.
- 6:32I mean, I remember saying that I hope we were hoping 2000 would
- 6:37be the new floor. Now what we're not hoping, but I
- 6:41think to a certain degree expecting is that 2400 U.S.
- 6:46dollars is the new floor. That's the critical price level.
- 6:50Now let's go back and take a look at silver chart as well.
- 6:55Oh, hold on one second here. Here we go.
- 7:00Because Silver's also telling us.
- 7:02Oh, there he is. We're going to talk about him
- 7:04just a second. See him there.
- 7:06Yeah. He's worried.
- 7:07He's worried. Jerome, we're going to go talk
- 7:09about Silver and then we'll come back and talk about you.
- 7:12OK, Wow, look at silver, man up $0.45 in the futures market.
- 7:19Wow. Let's look at the silver chart,
- 7:21though. So many interesting things
- 7:24happening on this silver chart and I'm doing this live.
- 7:29OK. And.
- 7:31Let's go over here here. Let's look at real quickly here.
- 7:34This is what? Happened to Silver during the 10
- 7:37year a bull run. OK, silver was oh $4.00 an ounce
- 7:41Can you believe it? I hope you bought some.
- 7:44I didn't back then that was right before I started buying.
- 7:48I think about 10 bucks was the best I ever did.
- 7:50None the. Less.
- 7:52Silver was 4. Dollars an ounce cancel I don't
- 7:56know what. That is, there we go.
- 7:58And during the 10 year bull run, when the dollar had a bear
- 8:02market, it went from 4 dollars. Oh, all the way to let's, let's
- 8:07call that $50 per oz. That's the type of movement that
- 8:11we can expect. We move the chart over up to
- 8:14current current time here guys. Let's do this.
- 8:22It is just so incredible what has happened in both of these
- 8:26markets and we knew that it was coming, but here we go look.
- 8:29At this support it's a little bit off, but none the less OK.
- 8:35At this point I'll say $28.00 is a critical level again that we
- 8:40hold in silver. We may go back down.
- 8:42I'm not saying I think we will. We may go below $28.00.
- 8:47I don't. I really don't think we will.
- 8:49I think the $28.00 at this point is going to draw in buyers.
- 8:53I had opened my big mouth a few weeks ago and said that I would
- 8:56buy silver at $26.50 per oz. It briefly, I mean for like 30
- 9:04minutes, hit that twice in the last three or four weeks.
- 9:07I missed my opportunity. OK, it was busy driving home
- 9:11from Wisconsin to 1. So now I will say if gold, I'm
- 9:14sorry, silver drops back down to 28.
- 9:16Dollars an ounce, I will make that purchase because I think
- 9:20that that is going to be a key support level where we're going
- 9:23to see a lot a lot of buyers moving in Hey guys, thank you
- 9:28for being here. 300 of us on a Monday morning basement.
- 9:32You can call yourself whatever you like.
- 9:35I'm not going to call you any names, but a lot of us like to
- 9:38call ourselves basement dwellers because.
- 9:41We hang out in the. Basement right here right like
- 9:43the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood for Gold and Silver investors, a
- 9:46community. All joking aside, I hope you
- 9:50feel comfortable here. I hope you feel like you found a
- 9:52little safe harbor in the storm a little a little home away from
- 9:57home, a group of people where you're accepted and liked right.
- 10:01If you subscribe to the channel, you can leave comments.
- 10:04Your comments are so important because your thoughts matter and
- 10:07that's how we. Learn, right?
- 10:09Look, I can't think of everything.
- 10:11You can't think of everything. But together, we can think of
- 10:14everything. I just thought of that.
- 10:18Wow, together we can think of. Everything OK, let's.
- 10:22Talk about Jackson Hole, because it's a big deal.
- 10:25Jerome Ball. Yeah, he's here.
- 10:28He is, right? He's going to make a big speech
- 10:32on Friday. Oh, Jerome, don't worry.
- 10:34He's going to come back out. What?
- 10:37Everybody, here's the critical thing.
- 10:39What everybody, everybody is going to be watching, right?
- 10:45What are they going to be looking for?
- 10:47They're going to be waiting to hear from him.
- 10:49Clues as to interest rate cuts. But the critical thing they'll
- 10:54be looking for will be how much will he cut rates?
- 10:59Will Jerome give any hints? I think he will.
- 11:03So how much will it be a? Quarter point.
- 11:06Thank you. Great.
- 11:06The Nate for that super chat or also right when, how much and
- 11:14when will there be an emergency rate cut that could send the
- 11:18markets into a frenzy? I don't think so.
- 11:22Definitely could happen. But what everybody's going to be
- 11:24listening for is how much and when.
- 11:26Let's go out to the Guardian UK and see what they have to say
- 11:30because they have some interesting insights here.
- 11:34High stakes at Jackson Hole symposium again this will be on
- 11:39Friday I think 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
- 11:42Jeremy Powell Gomer Powell Gomer Powell will give a speech OK
- 11:49High stakes at Jackson Hole symposium as Powell surveys US
- 11:53is rocky prospects. Presidential candidates,
- 11:58bankers, basement dwellers and economists will.
- 12:02All be keen to hear what the Fed chair forecast.
- 12:05Oh, he looks, he's looking off into the distance.
- 12:08You know what he's doing. He's he's probably with us right
- 12:11now watching the live stream. He's like, what are they saying?
- 12:14I need to get some economic data.
- 12:16The eyes of the world's financial markets will be firmly
- 12:19trained on the Rocky Mountain Resort at Jackson Hole.
- 12:22This is when Gomer Powell will deliver a much anticipated
- 12:26speech. At what over.
- 12:30Wait a minute. At OK, at what over more than
- 12:32four decades has become the Davos for central bankers?
- 12:35It's a big, sophisticated central banker.
- 12:39I will call it party to be Nice. And in an address loaded with
- 12:43economic and political significance, this is the
- 12:46biggest. News story of the universe for
- 12:48the year guys. The chair of the federal.
- 12:51Reserve the US and Central Bank is expected to lay out a road
- 12:55map. A road map for US, interest
- 12:58rates. What do we think he's going to
- 13:01say? OK.
- 13:03But Powell will choose his words carefully because Wall Street
- 13:07will be examining the speech for clues as to what the Fed will do
- 13:11at its policy meeting next month.
- 13:13We're going to talk about that here in a second.
- 13:15But I wanted to bring this last point up here a little, a little
- 13:20a little context on what we can expect in August of 2008.
- 13:24You guys remember that? That was what how many years, 16
- 13:28years ago, Ben Burnack, he gave a speech there on the theme of
- 13:34reducing systemic risk. OK, Less than a month later, the
- 13:40collapse of the US investment bank Lehman Brothers sent
- 13:43shockwaves through the global financial system.
- 13:46So let's talk about a little context here.
- 13:48Number one, these guys don't know what they're talking about,
- 13:52OK? They have no idea.
- 13:54They, they, they, we've got example after example and what
- 13:58did they show us, right, That Ben Burnack was in Congress
- 14:01saying everything's fine, everything's great.
- 14:04And then we had the great financial crisis.
- 14:06Ben Burnack was at Jackson Hole saying, well, we got to look at
- 14:10this, but everything's great, everything's strong.
- 14:13The US economy for. And then everything collapsed,
- 14:16right? What about Janet Yellen?
- 14:18Right on inflation's transitory, we're not worried about
- 14:21inflation and we had the worst inflation problem during.
- 14:24Many of our lifetimes, Right? So we're going to believe what
- 14:30Gomer Powell says this Friday. Really.
- 14:33Yo, Yeah. Wall Street will be paying
- 14:35attention to what Gomer Powell has to say at the Jackson Hole
- 14:38Summit, blah, blah, blah. And it will be the biggest we
- 14:40What I want you to do. I hope you join with me in
- 14:43laughing because it's a big joke.
- 14:48It's all smoke and mirrors. It's all a bunch of BS.
- 14:52It's all synthetic. Make believe Unicorn fart dust
- 14:56and we are in big trouble in this country.
- 14:59And I'm going to show you a mention to you a little bit
- 15:02later after a conversation I had with my neighbor Peter and one
- 15:06of you, one of your comments. Why we do have reason to be
- 15:10concerned. OK, but let's get back to this
- 15:12guy, OK? Don't forget when he talks on
- 15:18Friday, right? Number one, we aren't going to
- 15:21believe him, but #2 it's been one full year since I since I
- 15:25made the Jerome in a box. And you may not remember, but
- 15:30the R stands for recession, the I stands for inflation.
- 15:37OK, he's in a box. There's a reason why he's in a
- 15:40box, because he's in trouble. He knows he's in trouble.
- 15:43We do. And we are going to continue to
- 15:47have big inflation in this country because, and he's not,
- 15:52he's going to. Act like he's worried.
- 15:54About it, but he's really not because mathematics don't lie.
- 15:58We could go on for the next hour.
- 15:59But you guys know, right? The national debt, the
- 16:02mismanagement by our government, the deficits, a trillion dollars
- 16:07being added. We're spending more money on
- 16:10National Defense. I'm sorry, we're spending more
- 16:13money. On interest payments, just
- 16:17interest on the national debt than we are on National Defense,
- 16:21right? Hey, the the the the.
- 16:23Boots are on the warehouse floor.
- 16:25The feathers are flying. He's dealing with inflation.
- 16:29But on the other side of that box, there's an R, and that
- 16:31doesn't stand for R. I'm a narcissist, but I'm not
- 16:33that much of A narcissist. That R stands for recession.
- 16:38He's got an inflation here. Let's make him dizzy.
- 16:42He's got a recession and he has inflation.
- 16:48He's in a box. He knows he's in a box.
- 16:50He's not dumb, right? But that stands.
- 16:53That stands for stagflation. And that is what they are so
- 16:57afraid of. They don't like deflation,
- 17:00right? Oh my gosh, no, that's that.
- 17:02That makes the whole system blow up.
- 17:04Right, so they're gonna inflate everything away while at the
- 17:07same time you as an average American are getting a screw
- 17:12job. Okay, that's no other way to put
- 17:15it if you're. Average if you're part of the
- 17:16one. Percent congratulations.
- 17:19Congratulations there, Winston. I'm glad that you've done so
- 17:22well for yourself, but if you're like most of us, 99 out of 100
- 17:26people, you're getting the screws put to you.
- 17:29Did you see that there's a? Heartbreaking.
- 17:31Clip out there, but this old man who's working at Walmart, he
- 17:36worked at McDonnell Douglas, not here in Saint Louis, somewhere
- 17:39where they made machine, was a machinist somewhere, was there
- 17:42for 29 years, got laid off, didn't get his pension and now
- 17:46he works at Walmart. Him and his wife, I mean,
- 17:48average America, right, that just tried to work and save
- 17:52money Well, you know what happened, right?
- 17:54The dollar. This thing has just gone down,
- 17:57down in value. There's no other way to say it,
- 18:01OK. And the average people that
- 18:04don't have. Big stock portfolios or you
- 18:07know, fancy residential real estate port, they've been,
- 18:10they've had it, they've had it very, very, very difficult.
- 18:13So that's what's going to happen.
- 18:15Friday will be the big Jerome day they're going to make a big
- 18:19deal out of. It's going to be built up all
- 18:21week. We know what we can do.
- 18:23We can laugh. OK, now let's talk about, let's
- 18:26talk about next this potential, potential.
- 18:30Earth. Shattering news for the silver
- 18:34industry, right? A new EV battery technology from
- 18:38one of the world's biggest electronics companies, Samsung,
- 18:42that could promise to use silver at a level like we've never seen
- 18:48before. But before we do that, let's go
- 18:50out and check on the metals prices.
- 18:53Let's press the magic pin backs button.
- 18:55And hey, it's getting better. Gold's only down 6 dollars,
- 18:59$2502.00 per oz. The bear can keep his blindfold
- 19:04off for now. Silver $29.38 Woof, we are
- 19:10moving. Hey, I want to say thank you to
- 19:12channel sponsor pin backs. In a nutshell.
- 19:15Guys, if you want to get the best prices, if you want to get
- 19:22outstanding customer service, but it's also real important
- 19:26that it's a company you can trust, right?
- 19:29And you want a great selection, please, please give Pembex a
- 19:33shot. Throw them into the mix.
- 19:35Do your own research, read the reviews.
- 19:38I can tell you my review, but you need to make up your mind
- 19:42for yourself. My review is after I believe 6
- 19:46transactions I've done with them.
- 19:47At this point I give them an A+. But it's not just me, because I
- 19:52have a pile of. Emails from fellow basement
- 19:56dwellers who also just just just gave them a.
- 20:00Shot right, threw them into the mix, compared what they could do
- 20:03with Pembacs to what they could do with some of the other big
- 20:06online bullion dealers and what they found was they got more
- 20:10metal for their money from Pembacs.
- 20:11You'd also find that definitely in my opinion would be the case
- 20:17if you ever decide to convert an individual retirement account or
- 20:22a four O 1K to precious metals. I will say this give you a big,
- 20:27big, big, big big warning if you ever decide to convert an IRA,
- 20:33be very careful. Take your time, make sure you
- 20:37completely understand what you're getting, and please talk
- 20:40to the guys at pmbex. Compare how many American Silver
- 20:45Eagles or whatever you decide Gold buffaloes you compare how
- 20:50much oz. How many ounces of silver you
- 20:52can get, gold you can get from pinbacks during an IRA
- 20:56conversion to what these other highly advertised, highly
- 21:00promoted IRA companies are doing.
- 21:02I, if I save one of you, right, because I'm telling you I, I'm,
- 21:06you need to find out for yourself, but I believe you
- 21:09would get 20-30, maybe even more percent more actual metal if you
- 21:14do it with a company like Pembex.
- 21:15I digress. Let's go.
- 21:17Thank you Pembex for the sponsorship guys.
- 21:20Let's talk about this new silver battery.
- 21:24If you heard this story, we're going to go over to a a piece
- 21:28that was emailed to me from our secret Irish Connection.
- 21:36His name's Pierce, He said hi Ron.
- 21:39I recently coined the phrase silver is the new oil.
- 21:45I knew I got that from somebody. I think I guess it was Pierce.
- 21:47He's making the point that is his saying Pierce and I, Ron, I.
- 21:51Agree with Pierce Silver. Is the new oil?
- 21:55But I may have been wrong. Silver will surely be much more
- 21:59important than oil ever was in green.
- 22:04Consider a reason why that a recent SNE Battery day in 2024
- 22:11event in Korea. This is breaking and we've got
- 22:14more proof than I'm going to show you here in a second.
- 22:17Samsung, one of the world's biggest electronics companies
- 22:21announced the new solid-state battery featuring a silver
- 22:25carbon composite layer in their new battery anode to
- 22:30dramatically change and this is this is true guys dramatically
- 22:34change the future of electric vehicles and then he has and
- 22:39silver evaluation. Here's a quote.
- 22:41We have delivered samples to customers, Samsung says, and
- 22:45have received very positive feedback.
- 22:47That's from Kojo Young, vice president of Samsung.
- 22:51I love people from South Korea where I work in the evening,
- 22:54there's some little kids that come that are and parents that
- 22:57are from South Korea. South Korean people are always
- 22:59very nice, very friendly. On a side note, claimed features
- 23:04include a battery range of 600 miles.
- 23:07Current EV batteries go about 300 miles fast charging in under
- 23:1110 minutes. People are always complaining
- 23:14about how long it takes to charge their cyber trucks and
- 23:16their their Tesla Model Threes and all that light solar and PVA
- 23:2220. Year.
- 23:23Lifetime current EV batteries last about 10 or 12 years
- 23:28roughly. Don't quote me on that, but I
- 23:29think I believe that. To be the case they're safer
- 23:33there's no fire risk they're smaller and lighter than lithium
- 23:38ion batteries they're safe that you know what you have you ever
- 23:42seen these videos of like when a Tesla catches on fire it's like
- 23:46a firework show it's very scary and the fire department I mean I
- 23:50think they now maybe understand, but like for a while they didn't
- 23:53know how to put these fires out because like water and the
- 23:56lithium don't mix the it's it's. Anyway, these new batteries are
- 23:59much safer and they're lighter, which makes a big difference
- 24:04with the economy. OK, full production may start in
- 24:0830. Months this.
- 24:10Hold on here, see if there's more.
- 24:13Oh, there is more. But wait guys, there's more.
- 24:17There are as yet unconfirmed estimates of 5 grams of silver.
- 24:22So he's saying this is unconfirmed and this is where
- 24:24there's been some controversy within the silver community, and
- 24:28we'll talk about that. Yet unconfirmed estimates of 5
- 24:33grams of silver per battery cell with up to 30 oz.
- 24:38That's one kilogram of silver needed for each battery,
- 24:45complete battery for each EV, basically.
- 24:49And the silver is not used up. Excuse me, Unlike oil is the
- 24:55value of the silver in these batteries is stored or stacked
- 25:01by the EV owner to be recycled at the end of the battery life.
- 25:05But what I want to throw in here is it.
- 25:07Yeah. Think about this.
- 25:08You can buy one of these, let's say in five years, one of these
- 25:11new cars. With a 600 mile battery that's
- 25:16got a kilogram of silver. So like you could be stacking
- 25:19silver in your car, right? And it's good for 20 years that
- 25:24Silver's gone. For 20 years it's.
- 25:26Off the market for 20 years, just like when we think about
- 25:30all the millions of Oz of silver going into solar panels, think
- 25:36about that for a second, all that silver.
- 25:39Going into solar panels, it's gone for 20 years.
- 25:42OK, all that silver. That's in these new potential
- 25:47new EV solid-state batteries is gone for 20 years.
- 25:53Bye bye. And remember guys, when the,
- 25:55when the, when the price takes off, when this happens, when we
- 25:59get $85 silver, $100 silver and everybody's like, oh, we need
- 26:04to. Get more silver, Any more
- 26:05silver, it's going to take the mining sector 10 years.
- 26:09Minimum to catch up if they even can because Mexico is outlawing
- 26:15or is is in the process of forwarding legislation to
- 26:19potentially outlaw to potentially.
- 26:22Outlaw open pit mining. I mean, it's incredible.
- 26:27OK, then here he says if I seem a bit excited, it's because I
- 26:30am. This could be huge for the price
- 26:33of silver. Kind regards your friend Pierce
- 26:36and Limerick, Ireland. And I've been to Limerick,
- 26:38Ireland, and I love whenever I get something from Pierce.
- 26:41This is like our secret Irish connection, guys.
- 26:44But once every two weeks this guy knocks it out of the park.
- 26:47So thank you, Pierce. Let's go back here, guys.
- 26:50It is getting crazier and crazier in the silver market.
- 26:55OK, maybe that's why it's following.
- 26:58Copper. Because it's stories like this.
- 27:01Now, is this true? Briefly, I wanted to dig in a
- 27:05little bit, not that I questioned Pierce and John
- 27:08Little from the Silver Academy reported this as well.
- 27:11So I have a story here for you from a from a web.
- 27:15Who doesn't like a website called Top Speed?
- 27:18OK. And in this picture here, you
- 27:19can see the Samsung's 600 mile stop solid-state.
- 27:23Battery and let's go down just a few things we want to talk
- 27:26about. The summary is a long article,
- 27:29you can look it up for yourself, but I thought a couple of the
- 27:32key points. Samsung's 600 mile solid-state
- 27:35battery that could could revolutionize EVs and could use
- 27:401 kilogram or 30 / 30 ounces of silver per battery, offering
- 27:45long range and faster charging times.
- 27:48Setting new standards, Setting new standards. solid-state
- 27:55batteries replace lithium ion, boosting energy density and
- 28:00safety, making them a game changer in the EB market.
- 28:05This is a a car website guys. This is not a Pro Silver website
- 28:11saying this. Think about that.
- 28:13OK, a game changer. Challenges with scaling
- 28:17production and cost remain right, right.
- 28:19Sure. This is this is we're in the
- 28:21early phases. However, they bought how they've
- 28:24already delivered samples of these to their customers who are
- 28:27giving them rave reviews. But collaboration among
- 28:32companies may accelerate the adoption of solid-state battery
- 28:36futures. But what they're saying is
- 28:38Samsung has delivered this absolutely earth shattering
- 28:43news. Other companies are going to are
- 28:46going to rush in and try to join this party.
- 28:50What do you think that means for demand for silver?
- 28:54Just at a time when we know that the availability of silver is
- 28:58going down, down, down. Couple more quick points at the
- 29:06S&E Battery Day event, Samsung. Stole the show.
- 29:12Stole the show with the announcement of its
- 29:16groundbreaking. A solid-state battery sending
- 29:18ripples through the EV segment and the automotive industry as a
- 29:23whole. The promise of batteries this
- 29:26capable is a significant milestone.
- 29:30Significant milestone sending ripples.
- 29:33Groundbreaking. Toward an.
- 29:35All electric future as the world shifts.
- 29:39Towards sustainable transportation Samsung's latest
- 29:42advancement could redefine what consumers expect from electric
- 29:47vehicles, potentially setting new standards for range, safety
- 29:53and performance. Pardon me while I one more time
- 29:56repeat a few of these words. Groundbreaking sent.
- 30:01Ripples through the through the community, redefining.
- 30:07New standards. I mean guys, this is real and I
- 30:12think where is it? Hold on.
- 30:13There was one more thing down here.
- 30:15Well, no, maybe not. There's this is a very long
- 30:17article. I read the whole thing.
- 30:20It's too much for me to read here during the live stream, but
- 30:22you can go check it out for yourself.
- 30:24That's what's going on in the silver market, huh?
- 30:27How does that make us feel? How does that how did what what
- 30:31does that tell us about what's going on?
- 30:32But there's a lot. This is the.
- 30:34Segment of the live stream where we get scared, where we get
- 30:38fearful. OK this morning, make sure I
- 30:42didn't miss anything that doesn't hurt.
- 30:45Remain OK this morning. It was bittersweet morning for
- 30:51me. I'll tell you a quick part.
- 30:52My daughter's went back to school.
- 30:53They're in 7th grade now. Wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 30:57I forgot to put the camera on me.
- 31:00My daughter started the 1st is back.
- 31:02To school. What a bittersweet day and I I
- 31:04was crying before they got out of bed.
- 31:06I did good. I didn't cry in front of them
- 31:08because I I love my kids so much and Susie makes our house so
- 31:12pleasant and my daughters are 12 but I know, knock on wood one
- 31:18day at a time, but they're really good kids.
- 31:21Anyway, I was sitting on the front porch after they went away
- 31:24on the bus. My neighbor Peter came by.
- 31:26Peter's cool, Peter's a aeronautical engineer, and Peter
- 31:31loves gold and silver. Hold on one second here.
- 31:42Sorry guys, I'm like losing my voice.
- 31:44But Peter asked me about silver and gold because he loves, he
- 31:47knows and he likes silver and gold and he knows I'm what I do.
- 31:50And we were talking for a minute and let me pull up this comment
- 31:55because this ties right into what we're going to talk about.
- 31:58There's some scary things. Let's let's put a broad context.
- 32:02This is. Bad OK, then these are things
- 32:05that we need to consider keep in our mind as we go through let's
- 32:09just say, let's say Christmas because we've called I've called
- 32:1344 dollars silver by Christmas. But here's a here's a note from
- 32:19one of you, one of your comments, right?
- 32:21I read all your comments. You matter, you're important.
- 32:23Please says the closer we get to the election, the more volatile
- 32:28the markets will become. This especially involves
- 32:31precious metals. And this is from long time
- 32:33viewer atomic wedgie. We always love the atomic
- 32:38wedgie. OK, yes, Atomic Wedgie is right
- 32:41and I'm talking to Peter. Let's run through the list.
- 32:45These are these are potential, any of these are potential
- 32:48almost cataclysmic severe type events.
- 32:54And and really this year has been a bit of a nothing burger.
- 33:00We had the one day financial crisis that they allowed to
- 33:03occur. What was that two weeks ago
- 33:04today, right when the Japanese stock market crashed by 13%.
- 33:09But really this has been a big nothing burger.
- 33:12So these are things. We have on the horizon, OK, the
- 33:16elections today, the, the, the, the, the Democratic National
- 33:21Convention kicks off. There's thousands of people
- 33:23protesting. They're even reporting it on the
- 33:26mainstream media, right? But we just know in general, we
- 33:29don't, we won't. This is not a political show,
- 33:32but we know as we observe what's going on in the political
- 33:37environment that it is a potential powder keg.
- 33:41There's a lot of anger, a lot of vile, you know, most Americans.
- 33:46I have to be honest with you. I'm not a hater, right?
- 33:48But they hate one side or the other.
- 33:50It's very, very precarious, pivotal.
- 33:55I don't know the words. I'm not good with words, but
- 33:57it's, you know what I'm talking about.
- 33:59You can. Feel it right, you may be
- 34:01feeling you may and that's fine everybody.
- 34:04Hey, look, like I said, we're all different.
- 34:06We all but but at minimum is an outside observer.
- 34:10Let's say somebody from Canada, right.
- 34:13Talk to my effort, talk to my CEO friends, the guys that run
- 34:16the big mining companies up in Canada.
- 34:18When they and when it turns to politics, they're like.
- 34:21Woof. America and they're not putting
- 34:23us down. They're just observing.
- 34:25It's like, it feels like it's like a powder keg.
- 34:28So that's the one big thing that we have going on, right?
- 34:31There's, I think it's safe to say, and again, I'm not making
- 34:34any political statements here, but whoever wins or loses this
- 34:40next election. OK, there's going to be like
- 34:44almost 50% of the company, a country that's going to be very,
- 34:48very angry, Very angry. And what's going to happen?
- 34:51I'm not saying I want anything. I don't want anything to happen,
- 34:54right. I wish we could all find some
- 34:56common, and I'm not, I'm not being political.
- 34:58But at minimum, isn't it true that half the people are going
- 35:02to be pissed off? I can say that.
- 35:04I think, yeah. Is that right?
- 35:09I mean. You know, so there.
- 35:11That's going on, guys. Right now in our world, Russia
- 35:17is being invaded. That's a fact, right?
- 35:21It's not mainstream being, but the Russian homeland has been
- 35:26invaded. It'd be like Mexico invading
- 35:30part of Texas that is going on. That is a big, big, big, big
- 35:37deal. Nothing to joke around about.
- 35:40OK, if you if you told if we talked about this three years
- 35:46ago, most of us wouldn't have believed it.
- 35:48OK, so we have election powder keg.
- 35:50Let's. Stack up.
- 35:51The crap, why not huh? I think I can say piss and crap.
- 35:55Those are new words I'm going to use during this live stream
- 36:00election stuff. Russia is being has been invaded
- 36:04or however you want to say it. Troops have gone into Russia
- 36:08from the enemy. OK, we'll leave it at that.
- 36:10We know we're like waiting. Supposedly there's going to be,
- 36:15there could be like a big attack from Iran on Israel to get to as
- 36:20retribution for the attack. You know that whole story.
- 36:24Iran, potentially. Attacking Israel.
- 36:27I'm not spreading the potential, all right?
- 36:30That's a big deal. That's a big, big, big deal.
- 36:35And then you have Russia that's kind of helping Iran cuz
- 36:38they're, I mean, this whole thing.
- 36:40Do you see how scary this is? Scared.
- 36:44All joking aside, this is scary. And what's really scary?
- 36:48Like you're learning about it and you probably do, you know
- 36:51about this already. But as we put it all together,
- 36:54it becomes very scary. But do you feel like, do you
- 36:57feel like like 95% of Americans are clueless that this is even
- 37:04going on? I don't know if you do, I want
- 37:07you to participate. I do.
- 37:09I feel like 95% of Americans are clueless that all this is going
- 37:14on right now in our world. On top of that, on top of that,
- 37:19in October, we have big October 22nd and 23rd massive news
- 37:25upcoming that could, it could, we could go back on the gold.
- 37:28It could, it could be the catalyst that sends us back.
- 37:31Could could be the catalyst that sends us back onto the gold
- 37:35standard in Russia. OK.
- 37:38October 22nd, 2020, third in Russia.
- 37:41Massive BRICS meeting. BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India,
- 37:45China, South Africa. Gosh, I forgot the other ones
- 37:49that that entered. I see you Iran, possibly Saudi
- 37:55Arabia. Saudi Arabia is not officially
- 37:57in there. Ethiopia, Egypt and the United
- 38:00Arab Emirates and there's like 9 million other countries that
- 38:03want to join. They're talking about creating a
- 38:06gold backed common currency called the unit that would allow
- 38:12them to settle trade amongst each other and that it could be
- 38:15backed by 40%, could be backed by 40% gold.
- 38:19Some people say it's going to happen and that they've already
- 38:22the Russian they've had pre meetings and the Russians have
- 38:25said I'm not going to. Say that it's going to have, but
- 38:27it could happen. We know that the world is buying
- 38:31gold by crazy. There's a reason for that.
- 38:33When I was talking to Peter this morning, I'm like, you know, we
- 38:35forget these things, guys, but we need to be reminded every
- 38:40three weeks, 3 1/2 weeks. There's a reason why the world
- 38:44central banks are buying gold like never before.
- 38:47They know what's going on. Like in my neighbor, Peter says,
- 38:49like, they pull the strings. I'm like, yeah, and what are
- 38:52they doing? What strings are they pulling,
- 38:54baby? They're buying precious metals.
- 38:56All right, So that's. Going on on top of all of that
- 39:00and this this Japan situation two weeks ago, didn't they give
- 39:04us a big clue? Come on man, right the Unicorn
- 39:08fart dust make believe fairy land Fiat currency system is in
- 39:13a very precarious spot when they can't.
- 39:18Let the Japanese market go down, and that's the Japan is the
- 39:22world's third largest economy. What does it tell us when their
- 39:26market crashes? In one day, 12%.
- 39:29Because Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, it's almost funny.
- 39:35You know why they're, you know why they're market crap?
- 39:37Because they've raised rates by .25%.
- 39:40Oh no, we can't do that. Think about it.
- 39:45They raised rates by .25%, the world's third, and maybe it,
- 39:49maybe it was .5%. It doesn't matter.
- 39:51They barely raised interest rates.
- 39:53Here, look, let me show you. This is this is proof.
- 39:57I believe I still have this. Oh, that's for later.
- 40:04There it is. That's a chart of the Japanese
- 40:08central bank interest rate. Oh my gosh, they raised interest
- 40:13rates. Look at this from negative .1.
- 40:18The whatever point point probably like I don't know
- 40:22nothing is the is the take away here and that caused their
- 40:26economy. To crash, you say?
- 40:29Well, that's. Japan Japan's the third largest
- 40:32economy in the. World.
- 40:35Do you think the Japanese economy is is intertwined with
- 40:40the United States economy? You ever heard of a Honda?
- 40:45You ever hear a Toyota? You ever hear of Mitsubishi,
- 40:49right, yes, it is OK. And that's a big sign of what
- 40:53they come. So we.
- 40:54We we are. We are.
- 40:56We are. As we're as we're moving into
- 40:58these next six months election powder keg.
- 41:02Russia being invaded. Thank you, Leanne.
- 41:05Oh wow, that's a big compliment. I had another super chat earlier
- 41:08I need to bring up as well. Thank you, Leanne.
- 41:12The elections, Russia being invaded, Israel, Iran, powder
- 41:17keg. Middle East powder keg.
- 41:19We didn't even throw in China, Taiwan, right?
- 41:22They got that as well. North Korea, South Korea, we got
- 41:25that as well. Major bricks meeting, you know
- 41:29some. These guys, some of these guys
- 41:31know a lot more about this than me.
- 41:32Like Andy Scheckman talks about it on a regular.
- 41:34I mean, it's a big deal. What's coming up in October?
- 41:38OK. And then we have a financial
- 41:40crisis coin shop. Chris issues a warning.
- 41:44Well, I'm not putting words in his mouth.
- 41:46Thank you, Leanne, it's very nice of you.
- 41:49Hold on here guys. And great the Nate, Nate the
- 41:52great. There's Jake from Jakes custom
- 41:54parts. Thank you to all the moderators
- 41:55for being here. Jake, Annie, Susie, big Tim,
- 41:58Silver Shire. You guys are the best, right?
- 42:01Thank you for being here and we're going to talk about a
- 42:07couple more things. A big warning while I'm putting
- 42:10words in his mouth, but I think he's OK with it.
- 42:13From Coin Shop Chris The one and only from the Coin Shop Chris
- 42:16YouTube channel which you need to.
- 42:18Subscribe to but also but also Are you a slave?

- 43:03Silver too. I'm not giving financial advice.
- 43:06Never, never, never. On that note, I do want to say
- 43:09thank you to our channel sponsor First Mining gold being held up
- 43:12there by the unblind Voted Bear. They're a Canadian gold
- 43:15development company. 2 multi million ounce development stage
- 43:20projects in Canada. They already hundreds of
- 43:23millions of dollars were spent drilling out these deposits in
- 43:28Canada to determine the gold is there.
- 43:30The gold's already there. Now they're working through the
- 43:32exciting development phase and Fortuna Mining, who's already
- 43:36mining, hence the name Fortuna mining.
- 43:39They have big operations in Latin America, Argentina, Mexico
- 43:43and Peru and West Africa, Burkina Faso, so and the Ivory
- 43:48Coast in an exciting exploration, advanced
- 43:52exploration stage project in Senegal and Fortuna Mining is
- 43:56firing on all cylinders as of their last quarterly report
- 44:00which was as of June 30th. 2024 Coin Shop, Chris.
- 44:06As a warning for you, you're sending me notes.
- 44:09Hold on a minute here. Sending me notes yesterday.
- 44:13All right here, I'll read this to you.
- 44:15I just checked all the big bullion dealers and some are out
- 44:19of 90% silver. This is 90% silver we're talking
- 44:23about, which is like this stuff right there.
- 44:26Let's do a little show and tell my favorite coin of all time,
- 44:30the Morgan. I know I'm not alone in that
- 44:32one. Look at that.
- 44:33Look at that beauty. Look at that. 1876 it's hard to
- 44:41believe some dude 150 some man or woman, probably a man back
- 44:46then working at a met made this 1878.
- 44:51So that's like 150 years ago. Isn't that crazy?
- 44:55And then you got these, which I also like very much.
- 44:58Lee Peace dollars. OK, what I like most about these
- 45:02things is this listen, OK, that's junk, but it's junk.
- 45:08Who called it junk? Junk silver, right, 90% silver.
- 45:13Well, coin shop crit and then then quarters half dollars in
- 45:18Dimes. I'm not a coin guru, never
- 45:20claimed to be coin shop Chris. Now he's he'll say he's not, but
- 45:24he is the coin guru. He says 90%.
- 45:27I'm getting the sense from coin shop Chris that he's getting the
- 45:30sense that possibly there could be a shortage of junk silver.
- 45:35It's not going to take a lot guys, right?
- 45:38You know, when the Japan thing happened a couple weeks ago, all
- 45:42my contacts, including the guys at Pembeck said it was like they
- 45:46had an unbelievable surge in demand for silver just over that
- 45:52one little day, micro micro crisis that we had.
- 45:56The one day Japanese crisis. OK, I've been trying to warn
- 46:00people this is going to happen. Please.
- 46:02Warn people OK, so he told me to warn you so I'm not putting
- 46:05words as you've been warned by coin shop Chris, we're running
- 46:09out of 90% silver. He says pin backs has a good
- 46:13price on what they have in stock.
- 46:16He said I'm going to drop a video about this at so they're
- 46:18coin shop Chris put out a video yesterday.
- 46:20Go go to his channel, find it and listen to him with his nice
- 46:24accent speaking about the 90% silver.
- 46:27We love you coin job, Chris. OK, final, let's talk about
- 46:31this. Are you a slave?
- 46:34Are you a slave? Are you a gentleman?
- 46:37Let's take a look at this. Hold on, I got stuff falling
- 46:39over here. OK, after that Japanese stuff.
- 46:47Hey, let's just read this for fun.
- 46:49So this came from the Silver Academy.
- 46:50Silver is more scarce than gold, both underneath the surface and
- 46:54above the ground stockpiles. Consider the following point,
- 46:57the above ground stockpiles. This is of silver.
- 47:00While gold is often perceived as rarer, the above ground
- 47:05stockpiles of silver are actually smaller than those of
- 47:11gold. Wow, it's estimated that there
- 47:15are about 6.8 billion ounces of gold above the ground.
- 47:19I know you probably have a billion stacked up in your
- 47:22basement, whereas silver stockpiles are less than 3
- 47:27billion oz. I heard that guy Christensen the
- 47:30other day said he thought 5 billion.
- 47:33A lot of people don't like him and the silver and gold
- 47:35community. I don't have any.
- 47:37I don't like or dislike him, but I just listen to what he says.
- 47:41But even under his estimate, that would still be less above
- 47:44ground silver than gold. This is primarily because silver
- 47:49is consumed in various industrial applications.
- 47:52But it just. Blows my mind.
- 47:53Does that blow your mind that there's less silver above ground
- 47:59than gold? But gold cost 90 times more?
- 48:02OK, we're going to get to the slavery thing here in a second.
- 48:06Hold on while we're at it, let's just since we're on A roll,
- 48:11let's go out one more time to pin backs and see an update.
- 48:15So we were down $6 on gold and we are now I'm going to press
- 48:19the button. Hey, it got a little better.
- 48:22Silver's up $0.40. OK, let's go to this.
- 48:25Let's go to determining your your stature in life.
- 48:31Your stature. Right now you're a basement
- 48:34dweller, but we're going to see what your other stature is.
- 48:36My friends, Here it is. This came from the Silver Deejun
- 48:40Club. Those guys are great.
- 48:42OK, time to add up the silver stack.
- 48:44Add to the silver stack. While the spot price is under
- 48:4730. I never had had had observed it
- 48:50being presented this way. OK, so gold is the money of
- 48:54kings. Silver is the money of gentlemen
- 48:59and gentle women. Ladies, I don't know whatever.
- 49:02Barter is the money of peasants and debt is the money of slaves.
- 49:09And let's start there because isn't that true?
- 49:12I mean, look, when I first graduated from college, I
- 49:14bought, I bought this little condo.
- 49:16I took out a mortgage. I was in debt.
- 49:18I'm not putting anybody down. I mean, we are programmed from
- 49:21day one in this country to get in debt, right?
- 49:25They give you a credit cards when you're 18 years old.
- 49:29They'll give you a car loan, give you student loans.
- 49:33It's very difficult, extremely difficult to stay out of debt in
- 49:37this country. My daughters are 12 years old.
- 49:39I'm always telling them like, just don't go into debt.
- 49:42My grandpa Hal, Hal Ratamar, he's dead.
- 49:48He was a great guy, like 95 years old.
- 49:50I learned most about money from my mom and from him.
- 49:54My mom was her his daughter. But like, you know, he always
- 50:00used to tell me like, save a dime out of every dollar you
- 50:03make and invest it and you'll never have to worry about money
- 50:07your whole life, right? Like stay out of debt, stay out
- 50:10of debt. And then I studied accounting.
- 50:12I worked for one of the big four accounting firms.
- 50:14Guys, I do know what I'm talking about.
- 50:16Debt. Is, you know, if you're going to
- 50:18use it to finance a business that you think you're going to
- 50:22make more money on it than the, than the cost.
- 50:25I mean, it's OK. And even, you know, home
- 50:27mortgages now, if you've got a mortgage that's locked in at 3%,
- 50:31I never thought I would say this, but I would almost say
- 50:34hold on to it because that's such a low interest rate.
- 50:37Interest rates aren't going to, you know, in the long run,
- 50:41interest rates anyway, in the long run, they're going to,
- 50:43they're going to, they're going to inflate away your mortgage
- 50:47payment that if you're paying a mortgage payment right now of
- 50:501500, let's say, or 2000, right? Trust me, in, in 10 years,
- 50:56that's going to seem like peanuts, like $2000 today might
- 51:02seem like a pretty good chunk every month that to pay 1015
- 51:06years from now, you'll be laughing.
- 51:08You'll be like, because, because everything is going to be
- 51:10inflated away. OK?
- 51:11Barter is the money of peasants, right?
- 51:13People doing things for each other.
- 51:16Silver is the money of gentlemen, right?
- 51:19And gold is the money of kings. We know that.
- 51:23OK, The other thing we know. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 51:26whoa, whoa. Hold on here.
- 51:28I almost deleted you guys. We don't want to do that.
- 51:33Crop, duster crop. Thank you, Andy Oakley, for
- 51:36being here. Thank you to Jake from Jake's
- 51:37Custom Parts for being here. Thank you for being here.
