0:01
There's a lot changing on the landscape for silver and gold
0:05
right now, and we can figure it out.
0:09
In this video, we're going to talk about the 10 year bull
0:13
market for gold and silver. Are we in year one, maybe year
0:19
2? We'll dig into that one.
0:21
But major, major news story this week will be Friday's Jerome
0:26
Powell, Excuse me, appearance at the Jackson Hole.
0:30
Conference, I'm going to tell you what to expect with that our
0:34
old friend Jerome Powell. Also, you've been hearing a lot
0:39
about this new. Battery from Samsung A new
0:42
solid-state battery that could use.
0:45
Pretty much all the world's silver up.
0:47
It's shaking up the EV world. We're going to dig into that one
0:50
as well. But first and foremost, thank
0:53
you for joining me here today. It's a big deal when you join me
0:57
here in the basement. I feel like we're we're
0:59
together. I'm not so lonely anymore.
1:01
Hopefully you're not so lonely either.
1:04
And on top of that, we love to talk about silver.
1:06
We love to talk about gold. So please subscribe to the
1:10
channel and when you subscribe or if you've already subscribed,
1:14
make sure you turn on that little bell.
1:16
Go find the subscribe button, look at the options.
1:19
There's a little bell you can push.
1:21
I get a lot of you e-mail me saying, hey, I don't get
1:24
notified when you go live. I don't get notified when you
1:27
put out a new video. You have to press the bell
1:30
notification. Otherwise you could miss
1:32
something and we don't want to miss you.
1:33
You're important. And on that note, leave a
1:35
comment. I'll talk about a one of your
1:38
comments. Maybe it's your comment from
1:40
earlier. OK, that makes a lot of sense
1:43
about what we're dealing with right now in the precious metals
1:47
markets. But let's go take a look.
1:49
Let's look at the 10 year bull market.
1:51
Did you guys check? Out you know what first what we
1:54
should do is go do an update on the gold and silver prize gold.
2:00
Now this is not up to date. I'm going to press the the magic
2:03
pin backs button here and we're going to get an up to date
2:05
number. OK, gold down $8.
2:07
It was down almost $20 per oz earlier.
2:10
Wow. Look at silver, you guys.
2:13
You want to know what's going on with silver right now?
2:16
Silver is following copper. Let's go over to ceo.ca.
2:22
If you look here, let's do an update.
2:26
Yeah, as you can see, right, the copper price up .6%, silver up
2:32
1.3%. Silver's not going to follow
2:35
copper exactly. But lately there's been a strong
2:38
Co relation, a strong relationship between the copper
2:41
price and the silver price, a little bit more than what we're
2:44
used to, right. Usually we just follow gold and
2:47
gold is still the granddaddy and gold will win the day and gold
2:51
will eventually have more of an impact on the silver price.
2:55
But for right now, now for some reason silver is following the
3:00
copper price much more quickly. Now let's talk about this ten
3:04
year bull market that we're in for gold and Silver 10.
3:08
Years and I want to show you a couple charts.
3:12
That are going to get you very, very excited.
3:14
Let's go take a look at this one first.
3:17
This is an oldie, but a goodie, but something we need to
3:20
remember. This is a 10 year chart.
3:22
You can see along the bottom the horizontal line starts at year
3:26
zero and goes to year 10. We are, well we're not I, I need
3:31
to update this chart. We are more at one of the peaks
3:34
right now, but we got to remember guys, bull markets will
3:38
have pullbacks. That's the whole point of me
3:41
showing you this. We will have pullbacks, but the
3:44
important component is that we remain in an upward trajectory.
3:49
Now I want to go look at the gold chart and I want to show
3:53
you what a 10 year bull market looks like started in 2000,
3:58
2001. This is the price of gold by the
4:02
way, over on the left hand side where you can see the little
4:05
plus sign, you can see gold will say was about, we'll
4:09
conservatively say about $300.00 per oz.
4:12
During that 10 year period, the price of gold went from Excuse
4:19
me, I didn't sing before I came on.
4:24
Went from $300.00 an ounce all the way over a 10 year period up
4:28
to almost $2000 per oz, a sevenfold at minimum increase
4:34
during that 10 year period. I believe we could be.
4:38
Somewhere in here right now, maybe right there, right?
4:41
We're in 2002. Gold had a little peak guys.
4:44
It's a long term game if we are indeed at the beginning phases
4:49
of this. What we will see next, what
4:51
happened during that 10 year period?
4:54
Which very likely could happen now in both nominal right just
4:58
number and real terms is a 10 year bear market in the US
5:04
dollar. We know, OK, in real terms, it's
5:08
undeniable that we're going to have that 10 year bear market in
5:13
the US dollar. Mathematics are on our side.
5:15
Calculators around the world agree with us because we know
5:20
the precarious situation that the United States is in from a,
5:25
from a fiscal, from AUS debt perspective, deficits that are
5:29
now, you know, trillion, that's what, a trillion dollars every
5:32
90 days now? It's.
5:34
Undeniable that in real terms we will have a bear market in the
5:39
US dollar and a bull market in gold.
5:42
And there's so much going on. Wait till you wait.
5:44
Wait till a. Little bit later, we're going to
5:46
go through the list of major, I mean massive, scary, shocking,
5:53
jolting things components that we're dealing with you and I
5:58
right now in the world that could have have big, big, big
6:02
impacts on the silver and gold price.
6:04
I want to zoom over here while we have gold up and just show
6:07
you that goes through today, guys, I think that let me draw a
6:13
line on here just because we want to.
6:15
Let's celebrate while we can, right?
6:18
We have got such an upward trend in support line in gold, even if
6:25
gold does fall back, OK, to me the critical level now.
6:30
And Can you believe? We're saying this.
6:32
I mean, I remember saying that I hope we were hoping 2000 would
6:37
be the new floor. Now what we're not hoping, but I
6:41
think to a certain degree expecting is that 2400 U.S.
6:46
dollars is the new floor. That's the critical price level.
6:50
Now let's go back and take a look at silver chart as well.
6:55
Oh, hold on one second here. Here we go.
7:00
Because Silver's also telling us.
7:02
Oh, there he is. We're going to talk about him
7:04
just a second. See him there.
7:06
Yeah. He's worried.
7:07
He's worried. Jerome, we're going to go talk
7:09
about Silver and then we'll come back and talk about you.
7:12
OK, Wow, look at silver, man up $0.45 in the futures market.
7:19
Wow. Let's look at the silver chart,
7:21
though. So many interesting things
7:24
happening on this silver chart and I'm doing this live.
7:29
OK. And.
7:31
Let's go over here here. Let's look at real quickly here.
7:34
This is what? Happened to Silver during the 10
7:37
year a bull run. OK, silver was oh $4.00 an ounce
7:41
Can you believe it? I hope you bought some.
7:44
I didn't back then that was right before I started buying.
7:48
I think about 10 bucks was the best I ever did.
7:50
None the. Less.
7:52
Silver was 4. Dollars an ounce cancel I don't
7:56
know what. That is, there we go.
7:58
And during the 10 year bull run, when the dollar had a bear
8:02
market, it went from 4 dollars. Oh, all the way to let's, let's
8:07
call that $50 per oz. That's the type of movement that
8:11
we can expect. We move the chart over up to
8:14
current current time here guys. Let's do this.
8:22
It is just so incredible what has happened in both of these
8:26
markets and we knew that it was coming, but here we go look.
8:29
At this support it's a little bit off, but none the less OK.
8:35
At this point I'll say $28.00 is a critical level again that we
8:40
hold in silver. We may go back down.
8:42
I'm not saying I think we will. We may go below $28.00.
8:47
I don't. I really don't think we will.
8:49
I think the $28.00 at this point is going to draw in buyers.
8:53
I had opened my big mouth a few weeks ago and said that I would
8:56
buy silver at $26.50 per oz. It briefly, I mean for like 30
9:04
minutes, hit that twice in the last three or four weeks.
9:07
I missed my opportunity. OK, it was busy driving home
9:11
from Wisconsin to 1. So now I will say if gold, I'm
9:14
sorry, silver drops back down to 28.
9:16
Dollars an ounce, I will make that purchase because I think
9:20
that that is going to be a key support level where we're going
9:23
to see a lot a lot of buyers moving in Hey guys, thank you
9:28
for being here. 300 of us on a Monday morning basement.
9:32
You can call yourself whatever you like.
9:35
I'm not going to call you any names, but a lot of us like to
9:38
call ourselves basement dwellers because.
9:41
We hang out in the. Basement right here right like
9:43
the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood for Gold and Silver investors, a
9:46
community. All joking aside, I hope you
9:50
feel comfortable here. I hope you feel like you found a
9:52
little safe harbor in the storm a little a little home away from
9:57
home, a group of people where you're accepted and liked right.
10:01
If you subscribe to the channel, you can leave comments.
10:04
Your comments are so important because your thoughts matter and
10:07
that's how we. Learn, right?
10:09
Look, I can't think of everything.
10:11
You can't think of everything. But together, we can think of
10:14
everything. I just thought of that.
10:18
Wow, together we can think of. Everything OK, let's.
10:22
Talk about Jackson Hole, because it's a big deal.
10:25
Jerome Ball. Yeah, he's here.
10:28
He is, right? He's going to make a big speech
10:32
on Friday. Oh, Jerome, don't worry.
10:34
He's going to come back out. What?
10:37
Everybody, here's the critical thing.
10:39
What everybody, everybody is going to be watching, right?
10:45
What are they going to be looking for?
10:47
They're going to be waiting to hear from him.
10:49
Clues as to interest rate cuts. But the critical thing they'll
10:54
be looking for will be how much will he cut rates?
10:59
Will Jerome give any hints? I think he will.
11:03
So how much will it be a? Quarter point.
11:06
Thank you. Great.
11:06
The Nate for that super chat or also right when, how much and
11:14
when will there be an emergency rate cut that could send the
11:18
markets into a frenzy? I don't think so.
11:22
Definitely could happen. But what everybody's going to be
11:24
listening for is how much and when.
11:26
Let's go out to the Guardian UK and see what they have to say
11:30
because they have some interesting insights here.
11:34
High stakes at Jackson Hole symposium again this will be on
11:39
Friday I think 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
11:42
Jeremy Powell Gomer Powell Gomer Powell will give a speech OK
11:49
High stakes at Jackson Hole symposium as Powell surveys US
11:53
is rocky prospects. Presidential candidates,
11:58
bankers, basement dwellers and economists will.
12:02
All be keen to hear what the Fed chair forecast.
12:05
Oh, he looks, he's looking off into the distance.
12:08
You know what he's doing. He's he's probably with us right
12:11
now watching the live stream. He's like, what are they saying?
12:14
I need to get some economic data.
12:16
The eyes of the world's financial markets will be firmly
12:19
trained on the Rocky Mountain Resort at Jackson Hole.
12:22
This is when Gomer Powell will deliver a much anticipated
12:26
speech. At what over.
12:30
Wait a minute. At OK, at what over more than
12:32
four decades has become the Davos for central bankers?
12:35
It's a big, sophisticated central banker.
12:39
I will call it party to be Nice. And in an address loaded with
12:43
economic and political significance, this is the
12:46
biggest. News story of the universe for
12:48
the year guys. The chair of the federal.
12:51
Reserve the US and Central Bank is expected to lay out a road
12:55
map. A road map for US, interest
12:58
rates. What do we think he's going to
13:01
say? OK.
13:03
But Powell will choose his words carefully because Wall Street
13:07
will be examining the speech for clues as to what the Fed will do
13:11
at its policy meeting next month.
13:13
We're going to talk about that here in a second.
13:15
But I wanted to bring this last point up here a little, a little
13:20
a little context on what we can expect in August of 2008.
13:24
You guys remember that? That was what how many years, 16
13:28
years ago, Ben Burnack, he gave a speech there on the theme of
13:34
reducing systemic risk. OK, Less than a month later, the
13:40
collapse of the US investment bank Lehman Brothers sent
13:43
shockwaves through the global financial system.
13:46
So let's talk about a little context here.
13:48
Number one, these guys don't know what they're talking about,
13:52
OK? They have no idea.
13:54
They, they, they, we've got example after example and what
13:58
did they show us, right, That Ben Burnack was in Congress
14:01
saying everything's fine, everything's great.
14:04
And then we had the great financial crisis.
14:06
Ben Burnack was at Jackson Hole saying, well, we got to look at
14:10
this, but everything's great, everything's strong.
14:13
The US economy for. And then everything collapsed,
14:16
right? What about Janet Yellen?
14:18
Right on inflation's transitory, we're not worried about
14:21
inflation and we had the worst inflation problem during.
14:24
Many of our lifetimes, Right? So we're going to believe what
14:30
Gomer Powell says this Friday. Really.
14:33
Yo, Yeah. Wall Street will be paying
14:35
attention to what Gomer Powell has to say at the Jackson Hole
14:38
Summit, blah, blah, blah. And it will be the biggest we
14:40
What I want you to do. I hope you join with me in
14:43
laughing because it's a big joke.
14:48
It's all smoke and mirrors. It's all a bunch of BS.
14:52
It's all synthetic. Make believe Unicorn fart dust
14:56
and we are in big trouble in this country.
14:59
And I'm going to show you a mention to you a little bit
15:02
later after a conversation I had with my neighbor Peter and one
15:06
of you, one of your comments. Why we do have reason to be
15:10
concerned. OK, but let's get back to this
15:12
guy, OK? Don't forget when he talks on
15:18
Friday, right? Number one, we aren't going to
15:21
believe him, but #2 it's been one full year since I since I
15:25
made the Jerome in a box. And you may not remember, but
15:30
the R stands for recession, the I stands for inflation.
15:37
OK, he's in a box. There's a reason why he's in a
15:40
box, because he's in trouble. He knows he's in trouble.
15:43
We do. And we are going to continue to
15:47
have big inflation in this country because, and he's not,
15:52
he's going to. Act like he's worried.
15:54
About it, but he's really not because mathematics don't lie.
15:58
We could go on for the next hour.
15:59
But you guys know, right? The national debt, the
16:02
mismanagement by our government, the deficits, a trillion dollars
16:07
being added. We're spending more money on
16:10
National Defense. I'm sorry, we're spending more
16:13
money. On interest payments, just
16:17
interest on the national debt than we are on National Defense,
16:21
right? Hey, the the the the.
16:23
Boots are on the warehouse floor.
16:25
The feathers are flying. He's dealing with inflation.
16:29
But on the other side of that box, there's an R, and that
16:31
doesn't stand for R. I'm a narcissist, but I'm not
16:33
that much of A narcissist. That R stands for recession.
16:38
He's got an inflation here. Let's make him dizzy.
16:42
He's got a recession and he has inflation.
16:48
He's in a box. He knows he's in a box.
16:50
He's not dumb, right? But that stands.
16:53
That stands for stagflation. And that is what they are so
16:57
afraid of. They don't like deflation,
17:00
right? Oh my gosh, no, that's that.
17:02
That makes the whole system blow up.
17:04
Right, so they're gonna inflate everything away while at the
17:07
same time you as an average American are getting a screw
17:12
job. Okay, that's no other way to put
17:15
it if you're. Average if you're part of the
17:16
one. Percent congratulations.
17:19
Congratulations there, Winston. I'm glad that you've done so
17:22
well for yourself, but if you're like most of us, 99 out of 100
17:26
people, you're getting the screws put to you.
17:29
Did you see that there's a? Heartbreaking.
17:31
Clip out there, but this old man who's working at Walmart, he
17:36
worked at McDonnell Douglas, not here in Saint Louis, somewhere
17:39
where they made machine, was a machinist somewhere, was there
17:42
for 29 years, got laid off, didn't get his pension and now
17:46
he works at Walmart. Him and his wife, I mean,
17:48
average America, right, that just tried to work and save
17:52
money Well, you know what happened, right?
17:54
The dollar. This thing has just gone down,
17:57
down in value. There's no other way to say it,
18:01
OK. And the average people that
18:04
don't have. Big stock portfolios or you
18:07
know, fancy residential real estate port, they've been,
18:10
they've had it, they've had it very, very, very difficult.
18:13
So that's what's going to happen.
18:15
Friday will be the big Jerome day they're going to make a big
18:19
deal out of. It's going to be built up all
18:21
week. We know what we can do.
18:23
We can laugh. OK, now let's talk about, let's
18:26
talk about next this potential, potential.
18:30
Earth. Shattering news for the silver
18:34
industry, right? A new EV battery technology from
18:38
one of the world's biggest electronics companies, Samsung,
18:42
that could promise to use silver at a level like we've never seen
18:48
before. But before we do that, let's go
18:50
out and check on the metals prices.
18:53
Let's press the magic pin backs button.
18:55
And hey, it's getting better. Gold's only down 6 dollars,
18:59
$2502.00 per oz. The bear can keep his blindfold
19:04
off for now. Silver $29.38 Woof, we are
19:10
moving. Hey, I want to say thank you to
19:12
channel sponsor pin backs. In a nutshell.
19:15
Guys, if you want to get the best prices, if you want to get
19:22
outstanding customer service, but it's also real important
19:26
that it's a company you can trust, right?
19:29
And you want a great selection, please, please give Pembex a
19:33
shot. Throw them into the mix.
19:35
Do your own research, read the reviews.
19:38
I can tell you my review, but you need to make up your mind
19:42
for yourself. My review is after I believe 6
19:46
transactions I've done with them.
19:47
At this point I give them an A+. But it's not just me, because I
19:52
have a pile of. Emails from fellow basement
19:56
dwellers who also just just just gave them a.
20:00
Shot right, threw them into the mix, compared what they could do
20:03
with Pembacs to what they could do with some of the other big
20:06
online bullion dealers and what they found was they got more
20:10
metal for their money from Pembacs.
20:11
You'd also find that definitely in my opinion would be the case
20:17
if you ever decide to convert an individual retirement account or
20:22
a four O 1K to precious metals. I will say this give you a big,
20:27
big, big, big big warning if you ever decide to convert an IRA,
20:33
be very careful. Take your time, make sure you
20:37
completely understand what you're getting, and please talk
20:40
to the guys at pmbex. Compare how many American Silver
20:45
Eagles or whatever you decide Gold buffaloes you compare how
20:50
much oz. How many ounces of silver you
20:52
can get, gold you can get from pinbacks during an IRA
20:56
conversion to what these other highly advertised, highly
21:00
promoted IRA companies are doing.
21:02
I, if I save one of you, right, because I'm telling you I, I'm,
21:06
you need to find out for yourself, but I believe you
21:09
would get 20-30, maybe even more percent more actual metal if you
21:14
do it with a company like Pembex.
21:15
I digress. Let's go.
21:17
Thank you Pembex for the sponsorship guys.
21:20
Let's talk about this new silver battery.
21:24
If you heard this story, we're going to go over to a a piece
21:28
that was emailed to me from our secret Irish Connection.
21:36
His name's Pierce, He said hi Ron.
21:39
I recently coined the phrase silver is the new oil.
21:45
I knew I got that from somebody. I think I guess it was Pierce.
21:47
He's making the point that is his saying Pierce and I, Ron, I.
21:51
Agree with Pierce Silver. Is the new oil?
21:55
But I may have been wrong. Silver will surely be much more
21:59
important than oil ever was in green.
22:04
Consider a reason why that a recent SNE Battery day in 2024
22:11
event in Korea. This is breaking and we've got
22:14
more proof than I'm going to show you here in a second.
22:17
Samsung, one of the world's biggest electronics companies
22:21
announced the new solid-state battery featuring a silver
22:25
carbon composite layer in their new battery anode to
22:30
dramatically change and this is this is true guys dramatically
22:34
change the future of electric vehicles and then he has and
22:39
silver evaluation. Here's a quote.
22:41
We have delivered samples to customers, Samsung says, and
22:45
have received very positive feedback.
22:47
That's from Kojo Young, vice president of Samsung.
22:51
I love people from South Korea where I work in the evening,
22:54
there's some little kids that come that are and parents that
22:57
are from South Korea. South Korean people are always
22:59
very nice, very friendly. On a side note, claimed features
23:04
include a battery range of 600 miles.
23:07
Current EV batteries go about 300 miles fast charging in under
23:11
10 minutes. People are always complaining
23:14
about how long it takes to charge their cyber trucks and
23:16
their their Tesla Model Threes and all that light solar and PVA
23:22
20. Year.
23:23
Lifetime current EV batteries last about 10 or 12 years
23:28
roughly. Don't quote me on that, but I
23:29
think I believe that. To be the case they're safer
23:33
there's no fire risk they're smaller and lighter than lithium
23:38
ion batteries they're safe that you know what you have you ever
23:42
seen these videos of like when a Tesla catches on fire it's like
23:46
a firework show it's very scary and the fire department I mean I
23:50
think they now maybe understand, but like for a while they didn't
23:53
know how to put these fires out because like water and the
23:56
lithium don't mix the it's it's. Anyway, these new batteries are
23:59
much safer and they're lighter, which makes a big difference
24:04
with the economy. OK, full production may start in
24:08
30. Months this.
24:10
Hold on here, see if there's more.
24:13
Oh, there is more. But wait guys, there's more.
24:17
There are as yet unconfirmed estimates of 5 grams of silver.
24:22
So he's saying this is unconfirmed and this is where
24:24
there's been some controversy within the silver community, and
24:28
we'll talk about that. Yet unconfirmed estimates of 5
24:33
grams of silver per battery cell with up to 30 oz.
24:38
That's one kilogram of silver needed for each battery,
24:45
complete battery for each EV, basically.
24:49
And the silver is not used up. Excuse me, Unlike oil is the
24:55
value of the silver in these batteries is stored or stacked
25:01
by the EV owner to be recycled at the end of the battery life.
25:05
But what I want to throw in here is it.
25:07
Yeah. Think about this.
25:08
You can buy one of these, let's say in five years, one of these
25:11
new cars. With a 600 mile battery that's
25:16
got a kilogram of silver. So like you could be stacking
25:19
silver in your car, right? And it's good for 20 years that
25:24
Silver's gone. For 20 years it's.
25:26
Off the market for 20 years, just like when we think about
25:30
all the millions of Oz of silver going into solar panels, think
25:36
about that for a second, all that silver.
25:39
Going into solar panels, it's gone for 20 years.
25:42
OK, all that silver. That's in these new potential
25:47
new EV solid-state batteries is gone for 20 years.
25:53
Bye bye. And remember guys, when the,
25:55
when the, when the price takes off, when this happens, when we
25:59
get $85 silver, $100 silver and everybody's like, oh, we need
26:04
to. Get more silver, Any more
26:05
silver, it's going to take the mining sector 10 years.
26:09
Minimum to catch up if they even can because Mexico is outlawing
26:15
or is is in the process of forwarding legislation to
26:19
potentially outlaw to potentially.
26:22
Outlaw open pit mining. I mean, it's incredible.
26:27
OK, then here he says if I seem a bit excited, it's because I
26:30
am. This could be huge for the price
26:33
of silver. Kind regards your friend Pierce
26:36
and Limerick, Ireland. And I've been to Limerick,
26:38
Ireland, and I love whenever I get something from Pierce.
26:41
This is like our secret Irish connection, guys.
26:44
But once every two weeks this guy knocks it out of the park.
26:47
So thank you, Pierce. Let's go back here, guys.
26:50
It is getting crazier and crazier in the silver market.
26:55
OK, maybe that's why it's following.
26:58
Copper. Because it's stories like this.
27:01
Now, is this true? Briefly, I wanted to dig in a
27:05
little bit, not that I questioned Pierce and John
27:08
Little from the Silver Academy reported this as well.
27:11
So I have a story here for you from a from a web.
27:15
Who doesn't like a website called Top Speed?
27:18
OK. And in this picture here, you
27:19
can see the Samsung's 600 mile stop solid-state.
27:23
Battery and let's go down just a few things we want to talk
27:26
about. The summary is a long article,
27:29
you can look it up for yourself, but I thought a couple of the
27:32
key points. Samsung's 600 mile solid-state
27:35
battery that could could revolutionize EVs and could use
27:40
1 kilogram or 30 / 30 ounces of silver per battery, offering
27:45
long range and faster charging times.
27:48
Setting new standards, Setting new standards. solid-state
27:55
batteries replace lithium ion, boosting energy density and
28:00
safety, making them a game changer in the EB market.
28:05
This is a a car website guys. This is not a Pro Silver website
28:11
saying this. Think about that.
28:13
OK, a game changer. Challenges with scaling
28:17
production and cost remain right, right.
28:19
Sure. This is this is we're in the
28:21
early phases. However, they bought how they've
28:24
already delivered samples of these to their customers who are
28:27
giving them rave reviews. But collaboration among
28:32
companies may accelerate the adoption of solid-state battery
28:36
futures. But what they're saying is
28:38
Samsung has delivered this absolutely earth shattering
28:43
news. Other companies are going to are
28:46
going to rush in and try to join this party.
28:50
What do you think that means for demand for silver?
28:54
Just at a time when we know that the availability of silver is
28:58
going down, down, down. Couple more quick points at the
29:06
S&E Battery Day event, Samsung. Stole the show.
29:12
Stole the show with the announcement of its
29:16
groundbreaking. A solid-state battery sending
29:18
ripples through the EV segment and the automotive industry as a
29:23
whole. The promise of batteries this
29:26
capable is a significant milestone.
29:30
Significant milestone sending ripples.
29:33
Groundbreaking. Toward an.
29:35
All electric future as the world shifts.
29:39
Towards sustainable transportation Samsung's latest
29:42
advancement could redefine what consumers expect from electric
29:47
vehicles, potentially setting new standards for range, safety
29:53
and performance. Pardon me while I one more time
29:56
repeat a few of these words. Groundbreaking sent.
30:01
Ripples through the through the community, redefining.
30:07
New standards. I mean guys, this is real and I
30:12
think where is it? Hold on.
30:13
There was one more thing down here.
30:15
Well, no, maybe not. There's this is a very long
30:17
article. I read the whole thing.
30:20
It's too much for me to read here during the live stream, but
30:22
you can go check it out for yourself.
30:24
That's what's going on in the silver market, huh?
30:27
How does that make us feel? How does that how did what what
30:31
does that tell us about what's going on?
30:32
But there's a lot. This is the.
30:34
Segment of the live stream where we get scared, where we get
30:38
fearful. OK this morning, make sure I
30:42
didn't miss anything that doesn't hurt.
30:45
Remain OK this morning. It was bittersweet morning for
30:51
me. I'll tell you a quick part.
30:52
My daughter's went back to school.
30:53
They're in 7th grade now. Wait a minute, wait a minute.
30:57
I forgot to put the camera on me.
31:00
My daughter started the 1st is back.
31:02
To school. What a bittersweet day and I I
31:04
was crying before they got out of bed.
31:06
I did good. I didn't cry in front of them
31:08
because I I love my kids so much and Susie makes our house so
31:12
pleasant and my daughters are 12 but I know, knock on wood one
31:18
day at a time, but they're really good kids.
31:21
Anyway, I was sitting on the front porch after they went away
31:24
on the bus. My neighbor Peter came by.
31:26
Peter's cool, Peter's a aeronautical engineer, and Peter
31:31
loves gold and silver. Hold on one second here.
31:42
Sorry guys, I'm like losing my voice.
31:44
But Peter asked me about silver and gold because he loves, he
31:47
knows and he likes silver and gold and he knows I'm what I do.
31:50
And we were talking for a minute and let me pull up this comment
31:55
because this ties right into what we're going to talk about.
31:58
There's some scary things. Let's let's put a broad context.
32:02
This is. Bad OK, then these are things
32:05
that we need to consider keep in our mind as we go through let's
32:09
just say, let's say Christmas because we've called I've called
32:13
44 dollars silver by Christmas. But here's a here's a note from
32:19
one of you, one of your comments, right?
32:21
I read all your comments. You matter, you're important.
32:23
Please says the closer we get to the election, the more volatile
32:28
the markets will become. This especially involves
32:31
precious metals. And this is from long time
32:33
viewer atomic wedgie. We always love the atomic
32:38
wedgie. OK, yes, Atomic Wedgie is right
32:41
and I'm talking to Peter. Let's run through the list.
32:45
These are these are potential, any of these are potential
32:48
almost cataclysmic severe type events.
32:54
And and really this year has been a bit of a nothing burger.
33:00
We had the one day financial crisis that they allowed to
33:03
occur. What was that two weeks ago
33:04
today, right when the Japanese stock market crashed by 13%.
33:09
But really this has been a big nothing burger.
33:12
So these are things. We have on the horizon, OK, the
33:16
elections today, the, the, the, the, the Democratic National
33:21
Convention kicks off. There's thousands of people
33:23
protesting. They're even reporting it on the
33:26
mainstream media, right? But we just know in general, we
33:29
don't, we won't. This is not a political show,
33:32
but we know as we observe what's going on in the political
33:37
environment that it is a potential powder keg.
33:41
There's a lot of anger, a lot of vile, you know, most Americans.
33:46
I have to be honest with you. I'm not a hater, right?
33:48
But they hate one side or the other.
33:50
It's very, very precarious, pivotal.
33:55
I don't know the words. I'm not good with words, but
33:57
it's, you know what I'm talking about.
33:59
You can. Feel it right, you may be
34:01
feeling you may and that's fine everybody.
34:04
Hey, look, like I said, we're all different.
34:06
We all but but at minimum is an outside observer.
34:10
Let's say somebody from Canada, right.
34:13
Talk to my effort, talk to my CEO friends, the guys that run
34:16
the big mining companies up in Canada.
34:18
When they and when it turns to politics, they're like.
34:21
Woof. America and they're not putting
34:23
us down. They're just observing.
34:25
It's like, it feels like it's like a powder keg.
34:28
So that's the one big thing that we have going on, right?
34:31
There's, I think it's safe to say, and again, I'm not making
34:34
any political statements here, but whoever wins or loses this
34:40
next election. OK, there's going to be like
34:44
almost 50% of the company, a country that's going to be very,
34:48
very angry, Very angry. And what's going to happen?
34:51
I'm not saying I want anything. I don't want anything to happen,
34:54
right. I wish we could all find some
34:56
common, and I'm not, I'm not being political.
34:58
But at minimum, isn't it true that half the people are going
35:02
to be pissed off? I can say that.
35:04
I think, yeah. Is that right?
35:09
I mean. You know, so there.
35:11
That's going on, guys. Right now in our world, Russia
35:17
is being invaded. That's a fact, right?
35:21
It's not mainstream being, but the Russian homeland has been
35:26
invaded. It'd be like Mexico invading
35:30
part of Texas that is going on. That is a big, big, big, big
35:37
deal. Nothing to joke around about.
35:40
OK, if you if you told if we talked about this three years
35:46
ago, most of us wouldn't have believed it.
35:48
OK, so we have election powder keg.
35:50
Let's. Stack up.
35:51
The crap, why not huh? I think I can say piss and crap.
35:55
Those are new words I'm going to use during this live stream
36:00
election stuff. Russia is being has been invaded
36:04
or however you want to say it. Troops have gone into Russia
36:08
from the enemy. OK, we'll leave it at that.
36:10
We know we're like waiting. Supposedly there's going to be,
36:15
there could be like a big attack from Iran on Israel to get to as
36:20
retribution for the attack. You know that whole story.
36:24
Iran, potentially. Attacking Israel.
36:27
I'm not spreading the potential, all right?
36:30
That's a big deal. That's a big, big, big deal.
36:35
And then you have Russia that's kind of helping Iran cuz
36:38
they're, I mean, this whole thing.
36:40
Do you see how scary this is? Scared.
36:44
All joking aside, this is scary. And what's really scary?
36:48
Like you're learning about it and you probably do, you know
36:51
about this already. But as we put it all together,
36:54
it becomes very scary. But do you feel like, do you
36:57
feel like like 95% of Americans are clueless that this is even
37:04
going on? I don't know if you do, I want
37:07
you to participate. I do.
37:09
I feel like 95% of Americans are clueless that all this is going
37:14
on right now in our world. On top of that, on top of that,
37:19
in October, we have big October 22nd and 23rd massive news
37:25
upcoming that could, it could, we could go back on the gold.
37:28
It could, it could be the catalyst that sends us back.
37:31
Could could be the catalyst that sends us back onto the gold
37:35
standard in Russia. OK.
37:38
October 22nd, 2020, third in Russia.
37:41
Massive BRICS meeting. BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India,
37:45
China, South Africa. Gosh, I forgot the other ones
37:49
that that entered. I see you Iran, possibly Saudi
37:55
Arabia. Saudi Arabia is not officially
37:57
in there. Ethiopia, Egypt and the United
38:00
Arab Emirates and there's like 9 million other countries that
38:03
want to join. They're talking about creating a
38:06
gold backed common currency called the unit that would allow
38:12
them to settle trade amongst each other and that it could be
38:15
backed by 40%, could be backed by 40% gold.
38:19
Some people say it's going to happen and that they've already
38:22
the Russian they've had pre meetings and the Russians have
38:25
said I'm not going to. Say that it's going to have, but
38:27
it could happen. We know that the world is buying
38:31
gold by crazy. There's a reason for that.
38:33
When I was talking to Peter this morning, I'm like, you know, we
38:35
forget these things, guys, but we need to be reminded every
38:40
three weeks, 3 1/2 weeks. There's a reason why the world
38:44
central banks are buying gold like never before.
38:47
They know what's going on. Like in my neighbor, Peter says,
38:49
like, they pull the strings. I'm like, yeah, and what are
38:52
they doing? What strings are they pulling,
38:54
baby? They're buying precious metals.
38:56
All right, So that's. Going on on top of all of that
39:00
and this this Japan situation two weeks ago, didn't they give
39:04
us a big clue? Come on man, right the Unicorn
39:08
fart dust make believe fairy land Fiat currency system is in
39:13
a very precarious spot when they can't.
39:18
Let the Japanese market go down, and that's the Japan is the
39:22
world's third largest economy. What does it tell us when their
39:26
market crashes? In one day, 12%.
39:29
Because Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, it's almost funny.
39:35
You know why they're, you know why they're market crap?
39:37
Because they've raised rates by .25%.
39:40
Oh no, we can't do that. Think about it.
39:45
They raised rates by .25%, the world's third, and maybe it,
39:49
maybe it was .5%. It doesn't matter.
39:51
They barely raised interest rates.
39:53
Here, look, let me show you. This is this is proof.
39:57
I believe I still have this. Oh, that's for later.
40:04
There it is. That's a chart of the Japanese
40:08
central bank interest rate. Oh my gosh, they raised interest
40:13
rates. Look at this from negative .1.
40:18
The whatever point point probably like I don't know
40:22
nothing is the is the take away here and that caused their
40:26
economy. To crash, you say?
40:29
Well, that's. Japan Japan's the third largest
40:32
economy in the. World.
40:35
Do you think the Japanese economy is is intertwined with
40:40
the United States economy? You ever heard of a Honda?
40:45
You ever hear a Toyota? You ever hear of Mitsubishi,
40:49
right, yes, it is OK. And that's a big sign of what
40:53
they come. So we.
40:54
We we are. We are.
40:56
We are. As we're as we're moving into
40:58
these next six months election powder keg.
41:02
Russia being invaded. Thank you, Leanne.
41:05
Oh wow, that's a big compliment. I had another super chat earlier
41:08
I need to bring up as well. Thank you, Leanne.
41:12
The elections, Russia being invaded, Israel, Iran, powder
41:17
keg. Middle East powder keg.
41:19
We didn't even throw in China, Taiwan, right?
41:22
They got that as well. North Korea, South Korea, we got
41:25
that as well. Major bricks meeting, you know
41:29
some. These guys, some of these guys
41:31
know a lot more about this than me.
41:32
Like Andy Scheckman talks about it on a regular.
41:34
I mean, it's a big deal. What's coming up in October?
41:38
OK. And then we have a financial
41:40
crisis coin shop. Chris issues a warning.
41:44
Well, I'm not putting words in his mouth.
41:46
Thank you, Leanne, it's very nice of you.
41:49
Hold on here guys. And great the Nate, Nate the
41:52
great. There's Jake from Jakes custom
41:54
parts. Thank you to all the moderators
41:55
for being here. Jake, Annie, Susie, big Tim,
41:58
Silver Shire. You guys are the best, right?
42:01
Thank you for being here and we're going to talk about a
42:07
couple more things. A big warning while I'm putting
42:10
words in his mouth, but I think he's OK with it.
42:13
From Coin Shop Chris The one and only from the Coin Shop Chris

43:09
thank you to our channel sponsor First Mining gold being held up
43:12
there by the unblind Voted Bear. They're a Canadian gold
43:15
development company. 2 multi million ounce development stage
43:20
projects in Canada. They already hundreds of
43:23
millions of dollars were spent drilling out these deposits in
43:28
Canada to determine the gold is there.
43:30
The gold's already there. Now they're working through the
43:32
exciting development phase and Fortuna Mining, who's already
43:36
mining, hence the name Fortuna mining.
43:39
They have big operations in Latin America, Argentina, Mexico
43:43
and Peru and West Africa, Burkina Faso, so and the Ivory
43:48
Coast in an exciting exploration, advanced
43:52
exploration stage project in Senegal and Fortuna Mining is
43:56
firing on all cylinders as of their last quarterly report
44:00
which was as of June 30th. 2024 Coin Shop, Chris.
44:06
As a warning for you, you're sending me notes.
44:09
Hold on a minute here. Sending me notes yesterday.
44:13
All right here, I'll read this to you.
44:15
I just checked all the big bullion dealers and some are out
44:19
of 90% silver. This is 90% silver we're talking
44:23
about, which is like this stuff right there.
44:26
Let's do a little show and tell my favorite coin of all time,
44:30
the Morgan. I know I'm not alone in that
44:32
one. Look at that.
44:33
Look at that beauty. Look at that. 1876 it's hard to
44:41
believe some dude 150 some man or woman, probably a man back
44:46
then working at a met made this 1878.
44:51
So that's like 150 years ago. Isn't that crazy?
44:55
And then you got these, which I also like very much.
44:58
Lee Peace dollars. OK, what I like most about these
45:02
things is this listen, OK, that's junk, but it's junk.
45:08
Who called it junk? Junk silver, right, 90% silver.
45:13
Well, coin shop crit and then then quarters half dollars in
45:18
Dimes. I'm not a coin guru, never
45:20
claimed to be coin shop Chris. Now he's he'll say he's not, but
45:24
he is the coin guru. He says 90%.
45:27
I'm getting the sense from coin shop Chris that he's getting the
45:30
sense that possibly there could be a shortage of junk silver.
45:35
It's not going to take a lot guys, right?
45:38
You know, when the Japan thing happened a couple weeks ago, all
45:42
my contacts, including the guys at Pembeck said it was like they
45:46
had an unbelievable surge in demand for silver just over that
45:52
one little day, micro micro crisis that we had.
45:56
The one day Japanese crisis. OK, I've been trying to warn
46:00
people this is going to happen. Please.
46:02
Warn people OK, so he told me to warn you so I'm not putting
46:05
words as you've been warned by coin shop Chris, we're running
46:09
out of 90% silver. He says pin backs has a good
46:13
price on what they have in stock.
46:16
He said I'm going to drop a video about this at so they're
46:18
coin shop Chris put out a video yesterday.
46:20
Go go to his channel, find it and listen to him with his nice
46:24
accent speaking about the 90% silver.
46:27
We love you coin job, Chris. OK, final, let's talk about
46:31
this. Are you a slave?
46:34
Are you a slave? Are you a gentleman?
46:37
Let's take a look at this. Hold on, I got stuff falling
46:39
over here. OK, after that Japanese stuff.
46:47
Hey, let's just read this for fun.
46:49
So this came from the Silver Academy.
46:50
Silver is more scarce than gold, both underneath the surface and
46:54
above the ground stockpiles. Consider the following point,
46:57
the above ground stockpiles. This is of silver.
47:00
While gold is often perceived as rarer, the above ground
47:05
stockpiles of silver are actually smaller than those of
47:11
gold. Wow, it's estimated that there
47:15
are about 6.8 billion ounces of gold above the ground.
47:19
I know you probably have a billion stacked up in your
47:22
basement, whereas silver stockpiles are less than 3
47:27
billion oz. I heard that guy Christensen the
47:30
other day said he thought 5 billion.
47:33
A lot of people don't like him and the silver and gold
47:35
community. I don't have any.
47:37
I don't like or dislike him, but I just listen to what he says.
47:41
But even under his estimate, that would still be less above
47:44
ground silver than gold. This is primarily because silver
47:49
is consumed in various industrial applications.
47:52
But it just. Blows my mind.
47:53
Does that blow your mind that there's less silver above ground
47:59
than gold? But gold cost 90 times more?
48:02
OK, we're going to get to the slavery thing here in a second.
48:06
Hold on while we're at it, let's just since we're on A roll,
48:11
let's go out one more time to pin backs and see an update.
48:15
So we were down $6 on gold and we are now I'm going to press
48:19
the button. Hey, it got a little better.
48:22
Silver's up $0.40. OK, let's go to this.
48:25
Let's go to determining your your stature in life.
48:31
Your stature. Right now you're a basement
48:34
dweller, but we're going to see what your other stature is.
48:36
My friends, Here it is. This came from the Silver Deejun
48:40
Club. Those guys are great.
48:42
OK, time to add up the silver stack.
48:44
Add to the silver stack. While the spot price is under
48:47
30. I never had had had observed it
48:50
being presented this way. OK, so gold is the money of
48:54
kings. Silver is the money of gentlemen
48:59
and gentle women. Ladies, I don't know whatever.
49:02
Barter is the money of peasants and debt is the money of slaves.
49:09
And let's start there because isn't that true?
49:12
I mean, look, when I first graduated from college, I
49:14
bought, I bought this little condo.
49:16
I took out a mortgage. I was in debt.
49:18
I'm not putting anybody down. I mean, we are programmed from
49:21
day one in this country to get in debt, right?
49:25
They give you a credit cards when you're 18 years old.
49:29
They'll give you a car loan, give you student loans.
49:33
It's very difficult, extremely difficult to stay out of debt in
49:37
this country. My daughters are 12 years old.
49:39
I'm always telling them like, just don't go into debt.
49:42
My grandpa Hal, Hal Ratamar, he's dead.
49:48
He was a great guy, like 95 years old.
49:50
I learned most about money from my mom and from him.
49:54
My mom was her his daughter. But like, you know, he always
50:00
used to tell me like, save a dime out of every dollar you
50:03
make and invest it and you'll never have to worry about money
50:07
your whole life, right? Like stay out of debt, stay out
50:10
of debt. And then I studied accounting.
50:12
I worked for one of the big four accounting firms.
50:14
Guys, I do know what I'm talking about.
50:16
Debt. Is, you know, if you're going to
50:18
use it to finance a business that you think you're going to
50:22
make more money on it than the, than the cost.
50:25
I mean, it's OK. And even, you know, home
50:27
mortgages now, if you've got a mortgage that's locked in at 3%,
50:31
I never thought I would say this, but I would almost say
50:34
hold on to it because that's such a low interest rate.
50:37
Interest rates aren't going to, you know, in the long run,
50:41
interest rates anyway, in the long run, they're going to,
50:43
they're going to, they're going to inflate away your mortgage
50:47
payment that if you're paying a mortgage payment right now of
50:50
1500, let's say, or 2000, right? Trust me, in, in 10 years,
50:56
that's going to seem like peanuts, like $2000 today might
51:02
seem like a pretty good chunk every month that to pay 1015
51:06
years from now, you'll be laughing.
51:08
You'll be like, because, because everything is going to be
51:10
inflated away. OK?
51:11
Barter is the money of peasants, right?
51:13
People doing things for each other.
51:16
Silver is the money of gentlemen, right?
51:19
And gold is the money of kings. We know that.
51:23
OK, The other thing we know. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
51:26
whoa, whoa. Hold on here.
51:28
I almost deleted you guys. We don't want to do that.
51:33
Crop, duster crop. Thank you, Andy Oakley, for
51:36
being here. Thank you to Jake from Jake's
51:37
Custom Parts for being here. Thank you for being here.
51:42

51:47

51:53

51:56
A lot in common, but the other thing that we really have in
52:00
common is our passion for silver and gold.
52:03
Have a great day. Thanks again.
52:04
OK. And I'll see you guys soon.
