  Speaker 1: so many people out there, you know, I look at

  Speaker 1: Instagram and I watch people, and I listen to people,

  Speaker 1: and I get so many calls now and so many

  Speaker 1: texts and so many things. I run up into people

  Speaker 1: to say, hey, man, we really look up to you.

  Speaker 1: Just yesterday, I got off a plane and young man says, sir,
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: excuse me. I just want you to know we look
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: up to you. Thank you man for saying some of
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: the things you say, and that you know that that
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: really mattered to me. And as I've gotten older, I've
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: started to understand more and more my position and my
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: mission in life, and part of it is to be
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: encouraging and informative for those that still trying to find
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: their way, because I know what it's like to not
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: know your way. I know what it's like to feel

  Speaker 1: the frustration of wanting something to happen and nothing seems
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: to happen. But all those times that I felt like
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: nothing was seeming to be happening, it was actually going
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: down at that very moment. It actually was. It just
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: takes experienced time and age to look back on and
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: see exactly what was happening to you was in preparation
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: of what was going to happen to you later on,
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: and so it became imperative that you understood that the

  Speaker 1: things that happened in your past are in direct correlation
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: with where you wanted to be today. And I wanted
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: to do these closing remarks to encourage people that there
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: is a process, that all of us are in a process,
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: and I have to remind myself of that oftentimes. Also,
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: how many times have I set a goal for myself
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: without asking God to give me the proper guidance in
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: that goal and direction? Because when I asked God for something,
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: he usually does it in a way that I didn't
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: even see how, or I didn't even think of. I
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: give you an example. I put something on my vision
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: board about six years ago maybe and when it was
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: involving a franchise. I'll just leave it at that, and
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: that's what I said, Man, I'd love to have a
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: franchise like this. I love to have a few of these. Well,
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: that was my goal and I put it on my
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: vision board. Years later, I actually ended up doing a
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: benefit for the franchise. Then I actually formed a relationship
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: with the guy that owns the franchise, and I started
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: using some of his facilities to do something else that
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: God had won wanted me to do that I didn't know.

  Speaker 1: I'm being very vague because I just don't want to
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: give up the story, the name. But just understand what
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: I'm saying. All I wanted was a franchise. What God
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: intended for me to be was something different. And so
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: then eventually I ended up owning something of the franchise,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: but it wasn't a franchise. It's the craziest thing. Now.
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: All of this happened because later on in life, I
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: stopped worrying about what I wanted and I started asking
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: God to show me what he wanted from me. And
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: even though I was in the right direction, I wasn't
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: thinking big enough, and what God ended up giving me
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: was far bigger than what I had wanted. The lesson
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: I learned is the lesson I'm trying to tell you
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: about today. You can have your dreams and aspirations as
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: you should, but open yourself up to the will of
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: God so you can see what God got for you.

  Speaker 1: Because I am telling you, man, you can't out plan God,
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: you can't out thinking, and you show can't out doing so.

  Speaker 1: While you on Instagram flexing and fronting and acting like
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: you this and acting like you this, why don't you
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: go to God in honesty and tell him the truth. Hey,
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: you know what, God, I'm really a little bit broken
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: right now. I'm really been going through some things and

  Speaker 1: I'm struggling, and Hey God, I just wanted to tell you, Man,

  Speaker 1: just between me and you, when I ain't flexing and
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: I ain't fronting, I'm actually confused. I need some understanding.

  Speaker 1: I need your wisdom. I need your guidance, man, because
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: I'm tired of being confusing, but I'm acting like I'm okay.

  Speaker 1: I need some help. You know something, y'all gonna tell

  Speaker 1: y'all something. Prayer works, man, Prayer really does work. Prayer

  Speaker 1: change is things, but prayer change people too. Think about

  Speaker 1: that for a minute. Think of all the ways you

  Speaker 1: try to project yourself, but then the reality of it is. Man,

  Speaker 1: I've had to slow myself down so many times and say, God,

  Speaker 1: make me the man you want me to be. Come on, Man,

  Speaker 1: just make me who you want me to be. This

  Speaker 1: idea I have for myself, I could be selling it short.

  Speaker 1: This idea that I have for myself may not be

  Speaker 1: in your will. This idea I have for your for

  Speaker 1: myself may not be in your timing. I'm just asking you, God,

  Speaker 1: if you could just step ahead from me, man, just

  Speaker 1: help me out. I'm tired. I'm tired of getting it wrong.

  Speaker 1: I'm tired of perpetrating. I'm tired of flexing. I'm tired

  Speaker 1: of acting like i'm something that i'm not. I'm tired

  Speaker 1: of showing people the good side so they'll think I'm

  Speaker 1: just fine. I'm really hurting over here. I really need

  Speaker 1: some help. I'm just coming to you straight up and

  Speaker 1: just saying, hey, could you fire me? Because I don't

  Speaker 1: know how the first the first idea of solving a

  Speaker 1: problem is the first admitting that you have for y'all.
