- 0:00Speaker 1: I'm going to regret this.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to the Nerd Party.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hi.
- 0:06Speaker 3: This is Nick and Astasu, story editor on Star Wars,
- 0:10Speaker 3: the Clone Wars and Star Wars bad Batch, and you
- 0:14Speaker 3: are listening to aggressive negotiations.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Lasting across the hyperspace lanes and the Hollownet waves. Is
- 0:28Speaker 4: aggressive negotiations your dose of Star Wars goodness here on
- 0:33Speaker 4: the nerd Party Network. I am John Mills, and I
- 0:36Speaker 4: am joined on this journey by the esteemed Jedi Master
- 0:39Speaker 4: Matthew Rushing, who will illuminate for us the great mysteries
- 0:44Speaker 4: of the Star Wars recipe for humble Pie.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Master Rushing, how are you well?
- 0:51Speaker 5: I appreciate that, John, And of course I don't know
- 0:57Speaker 5: actually how good my recipe is, but hopefully you will
- 1:01Speaker 5: enjoy this.
- 1:02Speaker 2: First, You're gonna want to take your first pinch. I'm
- 1:04Speaker 2: just kidding. Yes, Oh man, what does humble pie taste like?
- 1:10Speaker 5: Do you think in the Star Wars fizzy drink at
- 1:15Speaker 5: Galaxy's Edge that numbs your lips?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Oh? Oh yeah? That? What was that one called juice
- 1:23Speaker 1: or something like that?
- 1:24Speaker 5: It possibly is, but but I I probably I think
- 1:27Speaker 5: that's the one I actually had when we went together.
- 1:30Speaker 4: So Oh you mean where they took back the limited
- 1:33Speaker 4: edition cup after you paid for it.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yes, and do you know you want to hear a
- 1:37Speaker 2: great story.
- 1:37Speaker 5: This has nothing to do with the EU, but that
- 1:41Speaker 5: year for my birthday, a good friend of mine gave
- 1:46Speaker 5: me a first edition of one of those.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Well, there you go, take that Galaxy's edge.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Balance to the force and balance to the terrible customer
- 1:58Speaker 4: service experience you had at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
- 2:03Speaker 4: But you know what a great customer service experience would
- 2:06Speaker 4: be would be if somebody goes on over and gives
- 2:08Speaker 4: us a star rating review over on Apple Podcasts. We
- 2:11Speaker 4: ask you each time, folks, if you haven't yet, please
- 2:14Speaker 4: do so. We know that most people don't, But if
- 2:17Speaker 4: you can find it in your heart to just go
- 2:19Speaker 4: over and at least give us a star rating, that'd
- 2:21Speaker 4: be fantastic.
- 2:22Speaker 1: A review is just a little bit better.
- 2:24Speaker 4: But we'll take what you're willing to give because we
- 2:28Speaker 4: do this because we love to give. We love to give,
- 2:31Speaker 4: and we love to also give our thoughts on some
- 2:35Speaker 4: zany topics here in Star Wars. And this is one
- 2:39Speaker 4: of those oddball ones I'm gonna throw at you at
- 2:41Speaker 4: and I'm gonna explain the origin of this whole topic.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I recently went to a hibachi dinner with the family.
- 2:49Speaker 1: For those not familiar with.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Habachi, that's where they cook in front of you. They
- 2:52Speaker 4: have like the big grill and they do the cool
- 2:54Speaker 4: stuff with flipping the eggs and the volcano fire and
- 2:57Speaker 4: stuff like that with the onions. And they served us
- 3:01Speaker 4: the soup which has mushrooms fairy delicious broth and the
- 3:04Speaker 4: mushrooms floating in it. And I turned to my youngest, who
- 3:07Speaker 4: I've converted into a Star Wars fan by showing her animation.
- 3:10Speaker 4: I'm just going to point that out, and I said, oh,
- 3:15Speaker 4: doesn't this look like all of the garbage floating in
- 3:18Speaker 4: the garbage compactor? And she wrinkles her nose for a
- 3:20Speaker 4: second and she says yeah. And I said, you're going
- 3:23Speaker 4: to finish that? She said no. I said, great, I'll
- 3:25Speaker 4: take yours. So it got me thinking, though, I froze
- 3:30Speaker 4: for a second. And this is because this is just
- 3:32Speaker 4: how any Star Wars fans brain works. I make the
- 3:35Speaker 4: joke and I look at it and I go, why
- 3:37Speaker 4: did they have garbage compactors on the Death Star? There's
- 3:40Speaker 4: no space? Is a big place, Like what was the
- 3:44Speaker 4: point of compacting the garbage? And so I just want
- 3:47Speaker 4: to sit here just have a discussion, like what would
- 3:50Speaker 4: the point of a garbage compactor be on the Death Star?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Anyway?
- 3:53Speaker 5: You know, I actually think that that is a really
- 3:54Speaker 5: good question, because the.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Size of the Death Star is so enormous.
- 4:00Speaker 5: You know, you would think you wouldn't run really run
- 4:02Speaker 5: out of room for trash in the first place.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And you know, who knows.
- 4:09Speaker 5: I know we've gotten cross sections of it and everything
- 4:11Speaker 5: like that, but I don't know, like, what what point
- 4:16Speaker 5: is there to have a trash compactor? And maybe it's
- 4:20Speaker 5: just the efficiency of the empire, like they just, you know,
- 4:24Speaker 5: they were worried about all of the cola that all
- 4:30Speaker 5: the guys were gonna be drinking because they're just on
- 4:33Speaker 5: break all the time, and like, you know, broken coffee mugs.
- 4:37Speaker 5: And I mean, seriously, that's one thing I think too
- 4:43Speaker 5: when you think about the trash compactor, and then and
- 4:45Speaker 5: then you kind of extrapolate, okay, like how many people
- 4:48Speaker 5: actually are on the desk start at any one time.
- 4:52Speaker 5: So I mean you could be talking about massive amounts
- 4:55Speaker 5: of trash, sure, but still it does seem like a
- 5:01Speaker 5: very strange thing that you have this huge thing. We've
- 5:04Speaker 5: already seen that the Empire doesn't care about space and
- 5:08Speaker 5: they just dump their trash before they jump to hyperspace.
- 5:12Speaker 5: And so what would cause them to need to compact trash?
- 5:17Speaker 5: Was there a flaw in the design? And there was
- 5:19Speaker 5: there were only a few places that trash was collected,
- 5:23Speaker 5: and therefore they needed to be able to compact it
- 5:26Speaker 5: to create more space.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I'm going to come at this from a couple angles.
- 5:31Speaker 4: The first one isn't going to say this is a
- 5:33Speaker 4: government project. And if there's one thing any human being
- 5:37Speaker 4: should realize, a government project is full of waste and draft.
- 5:42Speaker 4: And I can easily see somebody bribing their way in saying, hey,
- 5:46Speaker 4: I need some funds and my company's going under Hey Orson,
- 5:49Speaker 4: you know, nudge nudge, could you help a brother out here?
- 5:52Speaker 4: And Orson's like, we need trash compaction on the Death
- 5:56Speaker 4: Star and it's a big speech and before they Gorman
- 6:00Speaker 4: and they realize, oh yeah, we need that, and so
- 6:03Speaker 4: they construct those I have been trying to put my
- 6:07Speaker 4: head around it though, because it's like there's no separation. So,
- 6:11Speaker 4: like I tried to come at it initially from Oh, well,
- 6:14Speaker 4: they could reconstitute things and recycle stuff, sure, pretty easily
- 6:18Speaker 4: because they're going to need more stuff. But if you're
- 6:20Speaker 4: putting food and what looks like construction waste and other
- 6:24Speaker 4: stuff in there, you're you're not separating your garbage. Now,
- 6:29Speaker 4: if you compact it, can you still can't recycle it.
- 6:34Speaker 4: So it's not like the joke problem that the enterprise has,
- 6:37Speaker 4: which is they're recycling everything on there into its constituent matter.
- 6:41Speaker 4: So it make me very suspicious of drinking coffee on Voyager,
- 6:44Speaker 4: But that's just me.
- 6:46Speaker 2: This coffee tastes a little nutty.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a little a little gamey, Yeah, little gamey.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Yeah, But I'm thinking, is it possible that they compacted
- 6:58Speaker 4: it to use it as I'm sort of fuel for
- 7:01Speaker 4: secondary systems? There was some way they could burn it,
- 7:05Speaker 4: But what could you get from burning the stuff? Like
- 7:08Speaker 4: it would take more energy to burn, like that giant
- 7:10Speaker 4: metal stanchion that they're using to try to stop the
- 7:12Speaker 4: trash compactor.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Then that like you know that that's a.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Negative cost right there, So like yes, you know, Okay,
- 7:22Speaker 5: So I have to ask you this question because the
- 7:25Speaker 5: moment we started thinking about the trash compactor. Now, I'm
- 7:29Speaker 5: I'm trying to understand as to why a creature like
- 7:32Speaker 5: the dianoga exists in the trash compactor. And is it
- 7:39Speaker 5: that the Dianoga really enjoys feeding off of, you know,
- 7:47Speaker 5: the the waste from beings and that's what cleans that
- 7:53Speaker 5: part of the trash, and what's left gets compacted and
- 7:59Speaker 5: then is able to to be you know, like put
- 8:02Speaker 5: into smaller forms, which allows them then to like take
- 8:07Speaker 5: those raw metals and possibly turn to things. You see
- 8:12Speaker 5: what I'm saying, like idea, it's a process of elimination,
- 8:15Speaker 5: so you get rid of all the stuff that like
- 8:17Speaker 5: is biological in that and the rest of it is
- 8:20Speaker 5: all stuff that just could be melted down, separated and
- 8:24Speaker 5: used for say ship construction.
- 8:27Speaker 4: And if you really want to make it, well, I
- 8:30Speaker 4: mean ship repair because if the Death starts to be
- 8:32Speaker 4: a battle station, you got to be able to repair
- 8:34Speaker 4: ships and stuff like that. But I love this idea
- 8:39Speaker 4: because my brain then takes it again. And this is
- 8:42Speaker 4: why we're such a good pair, because I'm the slightly
- 8:45Speaker 4: demented one.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So I take what you're talking.
- 8:46Speaker 4: About here, and all the food stuffs go in and everything,
- 8:51Speaker 4: and then I say, well, it was dry when the
- 8:53Speaker 4: Dianoga started eating. So what they're floating around in isn't
- 8:57Speaker 4: just waste water. It's actually the uh, the the levins
- 9:04Speaker 4: from the Dianoga, because every organic creature is going to
- 9:09Speaker 4: expel waste, so they're basically floating in a bunch of p.
- 9:14Speaker 1: All right, let's go ahead and say it. Yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 5: See, I think that the whole idea of what the
- 9:21Speaker 5: Empire does with its waste, and and and the question
- 9:25Speaker 5: then about you know, the trash compactor and everything. You know,
- 9:32Speaker 5: it really is an interesting question because you know, when
- 9:35Speaker 5: you think about what happened in Empire strikes back and
- 9:38Speaker 5: they just dump their trash in space and then they
- 9:42Speaker 5: just leave it, it does remind you of and it's
- 9:50Speaker 5: just one of these things where it's like this small
- 9:52Speaker 5: reminder of how little the Empire cares about anything but itself,
- 9:59Speaker 5: right uh. And so if you think about this is
- 10:02Speaker 5: the idea that it's standard operating procedure that they would
- 10:06Speaker 5: just dump their trash before they they you know, light
- 10:11Speaker 5: speed out of a place. Well, I mean, if you're
- 10:14Speaker 5: in orbit of a planet, you do that, well, that's
- 10:17Speaker 5: just going to come crashing down on a planet or
- 10:19Speaker 5: be an orbit of that planet, right. Uh, And and
- 10:23Speaker 5: so there's so little care for the Empire about anything
- 10:28Speaker 5: else other than themselves. And I just find that to
- 10:31Speaker 5: be incredibly fascinating. And it's one of those those areas
- 10:35Speaker 5: where you know, I think everybody is just kind of reminded. Yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 5: the Empire just doesn't care about anybody with them.
- 10:43Speaker 2: And so but is there is there anything else that
- 10:49Speaker 2: so if we if.
- 10:50Speaker 5: We can pacted this trash down, like, is that the
- 10:54Speaker 5: kind of thing too that you know, we saw a
- 10:56Speaker 5: world like Feryx right where it seems to be a
- 10:59Speaker 5: place where they bring old ships and things to be
- 11:04Speaker 5: taken apart and broken into parts and then utilized basically
- 11:10Speaker 5: as a you know, intergalactic junk yard, so that you know,
- 11:17Speaker 5: if you need certain parts, this is the type of
- 11:19Speaker 5: place you come. Is that also the type of thing
- 11:22Speaker 5: where a trash compactor just compacts everything and then it's
- 11:26Speaker 5: brought to maybe a place like Feryx, you know, a
- 11:30Speaker 5: planet that's that's kind of run on taking apart old things,
- 11:36Speaker 5: and then the Empire then at that point starts to
- 11:40Speaker 5: get a cut of that.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Okay, So you're saying from like a financial standpoint, the
- 11:45Speaker 4: Empire drops that off.
- 11:46Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, like it's a part of like a business arrangement.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I could see that.
- 11:52Speaker 4: The thing is, though they then have to transport the
- 11:54Speaker 4: stuff there, and I'm like that that really seems too
- 11:57Speaker 4: I would view it as they wouldn't go to Feryx
- 12:01Speaker 4: or a place like Feryx. They would keep it internal only,
- 12:05Speaker 4: and you know, let's extend it even to the command ship.
- 12:11Speaker 4: In the Last Jedi A sequel, fans, I'm throwing you
- 12:14Speaker 4: a bone here, there's like a construction plant on there.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I wonder specifically about the Death Star if they would
- 12:23Speaker 4: have had their own construction plant on there, because the
- 12:26Speaker 4: best space station would be one that would be self
- 12:29Speaker 4: sufficient enough not just to repair ships, but to construct them.
- 12:33Speaker 4: And if it's that large, I know, we have our
- 12:36Speaker 4: cross sections and stuff, but none of that stuff's like
- 12:38Speaker 4: really official official. It's brilliant, it's beautiful, and I love
- 12:44Speaker 4: the cross sections and location stuff.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I'm not knocking that stuff at all.
- 12:47Speaker 4: There's some of my favorite books that they ever released,
- 12:51Speaker 4: and like, I would see it with the Death Star
- 12:53Speaker 4: that they would be putting it into its own on
- 12:56Speaker 4: premises like ship construction plant because think about it. If
- 12:59Speaker 4: you have a space state, like I'd love a story
- 13:03Speaker 4: if let's lean into this right where they're doing the
- 13:07Speaker 4: trash compactor, organic matter gets eaten by the dianoga, dianoga
- 13:11Speaker 4: goes off, they clean it, they press it, they dry it,
- 13:15Speaker 4: they put it down there. Think about the ultimate test
- 13:21Speaker 4: facility for high concept weapons, new prototypes. Yeah, it's contained
- 13:26Speaker 4: on the desk start. There's zero security problems with that
- 13:30Speaker 4: at all. You've suddenly created this self contained You could
- 13:33Speaker 4: make new superships without anybody knowing or able to track
- 13:37Speaker 4: down where it is. Desk Star can just go off
- 13:40Speaker 4: to the outer rim, float around for a little bit,
- 13:43Speaker 4: test the thing, and then fly back over and watch it.
- 13:46Speaker 1: You know, I don't know.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean yeah, it is one of those things too,
- 13:53Speaker 5: where by asking the question we also are like, yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 5: we get it. I mean, it's just it makes flo
- 13:59Speaker 5: a fund sequence, and so I don't think any more
- 14:03Speaker 5: thought was put into it than that.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Oh goodness, no, not at all.
- 14:09Speaker 5: But at the same time, when I do think about
- 14:12Speaker 5: the size of the Death Star, that it's basically larger
- 14:17Speaker 5: than some moons that are fully occupied with people, And
- 14:23Speaker 5: you think about all of.
- 14:25Speaker 2: The the the crew.
- 14:28Speaker 5: You think all of the soldiers, all of the ships
- 14:32Speaker 5: that can dock in there, all of that, and you
- 14:35Speaker 5: think about all of the waste that is generated by
- 14:39Speaker 5: that much stuff, that many people, that much going on.
- 14:45Speaker 5: I do think it can make sense as to why
- 14:48Speaker 5: you would need something like this, because even as big
- 14:52Speaker 5: as the Death Star is, you know, I mean we
- 14:57Speaker 5: as human beings, right, you just think about the small mounts.
- 15:02Speaker 5: You think about the small areas in our house that
- 15:05Speaker 5: are devoted to the trash that we can elect, right,
- 15:09Speaker 5: it's not very much. And so but then you multiply
- 15:13Speaker 5: that by the size of a small moon. I think
- 15:17Speaker 5: that you can kind of understand as to why, even
- 15:23Speaker 5: with as big as the Death Star is, you know,
- 15:25Speaker 5: do you want to be giving tons of space to
- 15:28Speaker 5: trash collection or do you realize, hey, you know what,
- 15:31Speaker 5: we could we could have less space to devoted to
- 15:35Speaker 5: this and devote more space to other things if we
- 15:37Speaker 5: just use trash compactors, and that allows us to be
- 15:42Speaker 5: more Again, it becomes about the efficiency of the thing,
- 15:46Speaker 5: which you know, as you mentioned, this is a government project,
- 15:49Speaker 5: which you know, they're really known for their efficiency. But
- 15:53Speaker 5: this seems like a place where you might actually be
- 15:55Speaker 5: thinking about that, right, because because the military itself when
- 15:59Speaker 5: it comes to that type of stuff, when you think
- 16:01Speaker 5: about submarine life, when you think about you know, aircraft
- 16:06Speaker 5: carrier life, that type of stuff, they are very efficient
- 16:09Speaker 5: with space, right they have to be. And so this,
- 16:13Speaker 5: even though you're on something again this big, it does
- 16:17Speaker 5: actually kind of make sense that you might be thinking
- 16:20Speaker 5: from when you're thinking from an engineering standpoint, an engineer's
- 16:23Speaker 5: thought process.
- 16:25Speaker 2: This this actually makes a little bit more sense.
- 16:28Speaker 4: But see, I would I would say just to just
- 16:31Speaker 4: have fun with it to counter argue your your efficiency
- 16:33Speaker 4: standpoint on that is, the test star appears to be
- 16:38Speaker 4: largely hollow on the inside, even from the little shots
- 16:41Speaker 4: that we get. So I can't imagine anybody walking to
- 16:45Speaker 4: the trash receptacle. There has to be some sort of
- 16:47Speaker 4: like null gravity field area down near the core where
- 16:50Speaker 4: there's just like this ball of trash floating, you know,
- 16:54Speaker 4: like wait, it's just like wait, that's.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Why in Robot Chicken, where the guy to just keeps
- 17:00Speaker 6: falling and he hits the ground or the guy's like
- 17:03Speaker 6: come on, because he's the one down there who's sweeping
- 17:07Speaker 6: it all into where it goes, right.
- 17:09Speaker 4: Yeah, But I mean, well, you know, come up what
- 17:12Speaker 4: troopers like, Oh I'm waiting for tuty, I'll just sort
- 17:14Speaker 4: of wrapper over the side here, you know, and then
- 17:16Speaker 4: just like that rapper just floats on down and all
- 17:19Speaker 4: those sorts of things. You know.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Well, I mean it's a lot of fun to ponder.
- 17:24Speaker 4: So, you know, if if you had to say you're
- 17:30Speaker 4: pressed and the trash compactor is there, I mean I
- 17:36Speaker 4: have to honestly question one last thing. Why was there
- 17:42Speaker 4: a great that would allow the smell of the trash
- 17:46Speaker 4: compactor to waft up into the cell block? Was that
- 17:50Speaker 4: on purpose to punish people for working in this because
- 17:54Speaker 4: she blows a greater part to jump down in there
- 17:57Speaker 4: that has very obvious slat in it that are allowing
- 18:01Speaker 4: vapor to escape, which from a large sense makes sense
- 18:04Speaker 4: because you don't want the gases to build up you
- 18:07Speaker 4: have problems. Then that's why landfills have the little you know,
- 18:10Speaker 4: exhaust vents that that spout flame every so often, methane
- 18:14Speaker 4: and everything. But why would you put those grates in
- 18:18Speaker 4: the hallway?
- 18:19Speaker 1: I mean, can you can you answer that one for me?
- 18:22Speaker 1: On our way out the door here?
- 18:23Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's a great question, because you you think
- 18:25Speaker 5: about the opportunity that you know, if you're if you're
- 18:31Speaker 5: cleaning a cell, you know somebody's and and then and
- 18:35Speaker 5: you know, maybe maybe they are really about cleanliness.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Who knows in the empire, and.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Is that every place that we see empire wise looks
- 18:45Speaker 5: very clean and sterile, and so that those grates are
- 18:50Speaker 5: there for you know, the cleaning crews to just throw
- 18:53Speaker 5: the trash down to the compactor. But sure, why is
- 18:57Speaker 5: it open? Uh? I think it is a great question,
- 19:02Speaker 5: especially when the doors to the compact, especially the doors
- 19:06Speaker 5: to the cells closed, so they wouldn't be able to
- 19:10Speaker 5: smell what's on the outside. I think that this was
- 19:13Speaker 5: a real engineering flaw here. And that's actually what Galen
- 19:16Speaker 5: Urso spent so much time working on. Was he was
- 19:19Speaker 5: going to make their.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Own make sure that they smelled their own exactly.
- 19:24Speaker 2: But he made their lives.
- 19:26Speaker 5: As you know, just for the few short moments that
- 19:29Speaker 5: the Death Star was fully operational, that they smelled their
- 19:34Speaker 5: own crap.
- 19:35Speaker 6: Uh.
- 19:36Speaker 5: And I like that, Yeah, that was that was his
- 19:40Speaker 5: ultimate revenge other than it getting destroyed. That was the
- 19:44Speaker 5: other ultimate revenge from Katelyn.
- 19:46Speaker 4: That was the part of the hologram that they never
- 19:48Speaker 4: got to play because the death Star shot Jetta that
- 19:52Speaker 4: the second half of the hologram was like eed gin
- 19:55Speaker 4: as it added bonus smell. That's right, entire place smells awful.
- 20:02Speaker 4: That was my final revenge.
- 20:05Speaker 6: You think about it that way, that's the name of
- 20:08Speaker 6: the episode, Gaalan's Revenge.
- 20:13Speaker 4: It's like Manta Zuma's revenge. Boom, there you go. I
- 20:17Speaker 4: love this. I absolutely love it. You know what, we
- 20:20Speaker 4: figured it out. The whole trash compactor mysteries are solved
- 20:23Speaker 4: here on aggressive negotiations.
- 20:25Speaker 1: That's what we do.
- 20:26Speaker 2: And that's the thing.
- 20:27Speaker 5: When you compat to the trash, it actually smells worse,
- 20:31Speaker 5: you know, because you're mixing it up right.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Actually, oh, that's why there's a door. Somebody has to
- 20:37Speaker 1: go and get it exactly.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Yes, guest Star really seems terrible, But you know what
- 20:46Speaker 4: is not terrible, what is in fact delightful, is connecting
- 20:49Speaker 4: with you on social media. So where can people find
- 20:53Speaker 4: you out there in the wilds of the Internet.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Well, yes, if you like to do that, please do
- 20:58Speaker 5: that over on any the social media platforms. You'll want
- 21:01Speaker 5: to search for Matt Rushing zero two. If I'm on
- 21:04Speaker 5: that platform, you'll find me under that name. We'd love
- 21:07Speaker 5: to talk to you. Of course, here on the network,
- 21:09Speaker 5: you'll also find me outside Aggressive Negotiations on our posts
- 21:14Speaker 5: talking about every single chapter of the Harry Potter series,
- 21:17Speaker 5: one chapter at the time, so enjoy that. And then
- 21:19Speaker 5: over on the TFM network, I've got a bunch of
- 21:22Speaker 5: shows talking about Star Trek that you can listen to,
- 21:25Speaker 5: whether it's Strange New Worlds or Deep Staatenime, Voyage or
- 21:29Speaker 5: Enterprise so many others.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Check those out.
- 21:32Speaker 5: You can also find me doing the six or two Club,
- 21:34Speaker 5: which is a general geek show, and we just talk
- 21:37Speaker 5: about all of the franchises we love outside of Star Trek.
- 21:41Speaker 5: So and John's a frequent guest over there, so if
- 21:43Speaker 5: you'd like to check all those out, we'd love that.
- 21:46Speaker 5: But you know, John, if people are wondering if they
- 21:51Speaker 5: could maybe get a trash compactor installed in their house
- 21:56Speaker 5: and they're wanting some tips, where can they find you.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Well, you can send that to orson Krenik care of
- 22:02Speaker 4: Kessel Junkie Online k E, S, S E, L j
- 22:06Speaker 4: U and k I E. You know it connects with
- 22:08Speaker 4: me on letterbox, folks, because I make a habit of
- 22:11Speaker 4: watching lots of movies, lots and lots of movies, and
- 22:14Speaker 4: I love talking about them with people. So, speaking of
- 22:17Speaker 4: loving talking about movies with people, I co host a
- 22:20Speaker 4: show here on the Network called house Lights with Tristan
- 22:23Speaker 4: Riddell and Darren Moser, where we have a lot of
- 22:26Speaker 4: fun talking about the different works of directors their entire careers,
- 22:31Speaker 4: sometimes depending on how many movies that is, but otherwise
- 22:35Speaker 4: we cut it up by topic and decade. We have
- 22:37Speaker 4: a lot of fun with it. So come on and
- 22:39Speaker 4: over and join us there. But Matt, I want to
- 22:41Speaker 4: invite you to join me over to the Jedi Temple,
- 22:45Speaker 4: where I have a new prototype trash compactor that unfortunately
- 22:51Speaker 4: was built right next to Master windows quarters and it's
- 22:55Speaker 4: made him even grumpier than usual.
- 22:56Speaker 1: So it could use your hand on this.
- 22:57Speaker 4: So I think it's time that we get back there
- 23:00Speaker 4: and close these negotiations.
- 23:03Speaker 2: John, negotiations are closed. Join the Revolution, Join the Nerd Party.
