Speaker 1: going to really look at the first century church this week. Amen.

Speaker 1: We've been talking about what happened when Holy Spirit God

Speaker 1: was poured upon one hundred and twenty in the Upper

Speaker 1: Room who were waiting for the promised Holy Spirit that

Speaker 1: the Lord promised them, And it must have been like, okay, God,

Speaker 1: when are you coming, When are you going to do this?

Speaker 1: When you're gonna do fulfill your promise? And then when

Speaker 1: it actually happened, Amen, they were out and about. The

Speaker 1: gospel spread rapidly from Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria and beyond

Speaker 1: through preaching, persecution and divine appointments. Part of the plan, Amen,

Speaker 1: the number, the apostles, the disciples, church, No, and the

Speaker 1: Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were

Speaker 1: being saved. And guess what, God has not stopped adding

Speaker 1: to the number of people who are being saved. Once

Speaker 1: you're saved, a man, that's a beautiful thing. But you're

Speaker 1: continually being saved from things that we haven't seen, heard

Speaker 1: that we haven't noticed. God is saving us from the

Speaker 1: unnoticeable things. God is saving us from the invisible things.

Speaker 1: God is saving us from all kinds of evil plots

Speaker 1: of the enemy. God's salvation is true, one and done.

Speaker 1: And we are in Christ because of what Jesus did

Speaker 1: on the cross. So we should be praising God continuously, right,

Speaker 1: and we should be having favor with all the people

Speaker 1: because last time I checked, the same spirit that fell

Speaker 1: in the Book of Backs is the same holy spirit

Speaker 1: that lives within us, and it's leading us into all truth.

Speaker 1: that there's a true, living, holy, righteous, loving God who

Speaker 1: could give them life, right and man, that would be

Speaker 1: a great way to go out right your last day,

Speaker 1: preaching to somebody your last day, loving someone your last day,

Speaker 1: helping someone your last day, exchanging ideas. We with the

Speaker 1: Gospel a man and others with their own ideas. But

Speaker 1: let the Word of God do what the Word of

Speaker 1: God does best. The Word of God transforms the Word

Speaker 1: of God, redeems the word of God renews, the word

Speaker 1: of God restores, and the Word of God saved. And

Speaker 1: who is the word of God, the Lord Jesus. Amen,

Speaker 1: So we can't miss and our bold evangelism, our bold mission,

Speaker 1: and our bold way of moving Amen, should really attract

Speaker 1: people who are curious about Christ and the Lord added

Speaker 1: to their number daily those who are being saved. So

Speaker 1: we know how rapidly the gospel message was spread. This

Speaker 1: was before social media, this was before television, this was

Speaker 1: before radio, right before Mardern transportation. They were going out

Speaker 1: and about preaching the gospel, knowing that the gospel that

Speaker 1: they were preaching about the Lord Jesus Christ was absolutely

Speaker 1: one hundred percent true. They were eyewitnesses. They saw Jesus

Speaker 1: do miracles, signs and wonders. They saw how Jesus lived,

Speaker 1: and how he loved, how he saved, how he forgave sin,

Speaker 1: how he was crucified. People were accusing Jesus of all

Speaker 1: kinds of things. Why did Jesus get on a cross.

Speaker 1: He willfully got on that cross, but humanly speaking, he

Speaker 1: was accused of blasphemy. So the Jewish people and the

Speaker 1: people who were in charge at the time, the Hebrew system.

Speaker 1: They knew that Jesus was calling himself God. So these

Speaker 1: debates that I'm seeing online saying words to say that

Speaker 1: Jesus specifically said he was God, well, actually, Hebrews, they

Speaker 1: knew exactly what the Lord was speaking. Amen, we might

Speaker 1: not understand in our culture, but they were understanding exactly

Speaker 1: what the Lord was saying. Before Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,

Speaker 1: the Lord said I am, meaning that he is saying

Speaker 1: that he is God. So truthfully and respectfully, these debaters

Speaker 1: online trying to act all smart because they got degrees

Speaker 1: in front of the name and the back of the name,

Speaker 1: whatever the situation, and they're asking other Christians word, does

Speaker 1: it specifically say that Jesus called himself God? Are you

Speaker 1: kidding me? The whole Gospel message screams the fact that

Speaker 1: Jesus is claiming to be exactly who he is, God

Speaker 1: in the flesh. And that's why the people were calling

Speaker 1: him blasphemers. They were calling him a blastphemer, they were

Speaker 1: calling him all kind of names because they knew exactly

Speaker 1: what he was trying to say. And it's amazing, but

Speaker 1: all our technology nowadays and all our smarts and all

Speaker 1: our understanding and all our literature and all our education,

Speaker 1: we can't see the plain message. Come on, man, we

Speaker 1: got to do better than that. The Gospel spread rapidly

Speaker 1: from Jerusalem. That was the like the hometown, right, So

Speaker 1: we need to be bold on mission. Amen, in our

Speaker 1: hometown to Judea. That means like another city, and another

Speaker 1: city outside of our hometown, Samario, maybe even further out right,

Speaker 1: and of course to that outer parts of the world

Speaker 1: that the ends of the earth. And guess what Jesus said,

Speaker 1: he will be with us to the ends of the earth.

Speaker 1: He's not going to leave us stranded and be like, Okay,

Speaker 1: you go figure it out. I gave you enough. Now

Speaker 1: you know what's wrong with you. You know I'm out

Speaker 1: of here. Now. That's not the Lord that we serve.

Speaker 1: We serve a God who is living, a God who

Speaker 1: is breathing, a guy who knows. Amen. And man, we

Speaker 1: service people. And man, the Gospel message is still the

Speaker 1: good news, and boy do we need good news in

Speaker 1: these days. Right, every time you look at the television,

Speaker 1: every time you hear the radio or social media, you

Speaker 1: see something horrible happening. And man, news reporters. I pray

Speaker 1: for news reporters because they see it all. They see

Speaker 1: a lot, They see a lot of destruction, they see

Speaker 1: a lot of mayhemmer, they see a lot of chaos.

Speaker 1: So we should be praying peace over these news news

Speaker 1: reporters right because listen, they see a lot and they investigate,

Speaker 1: and part of their job is to get down to

Speaker 1: the nitty gritty of whatever story they're trying to put

Speaker 1: out there. And a lot of times they're seeing things

Speaker 1: that are not good. Amen. So through preaching persecution and

Speaker 1: divine employments the gospel, what's being spread. That's a bold mission.

Speaker 1: These same people that maybe what forty days, eighty days,

Speaker 1: I forget the amount of days after that the Lord

Speaker 1: Jesus was crucified and resurrected, These same people were probably doubting.

Speaker 1: These same people were probably not understanding the totality of

Speaker 1: what the Lord did on the cross. But then when

Speaker 1: Holy Spirit rested upon them, Holy Spirit was fell in

Speaker 1: that room like tongues of fire. Amen. They went out

Speaker 1: with boldness. They said, Wait, this is the promise that

Speaker 1: the Lord promised us. So we're gonna take this promise,

Speaker 1: and we're gonna go out to the highways byways, and

Speaker 1: we're not gonna let any stone be unturned, and we're

Speaker 1: gonna preach the gospel from now to the very end.

Speaker 1: And that's what we're still doing. Isn't that amazing that

Speaker 1: we're still preaching the same gospel that was preached in

Speaker 1: the first century all the way to this century that

Speaker 1: we're in now. Amen. People were seeing signs, wonders, and

Speaker 1: supernatural things going on by the apostles, who were filled

Speaker 1: up with the holy ghosts. Now they were seeing the

Speaker 1: and action. Amen. Everyone was filled with awe at the

Speaker 1: many wonders and sign signs performed by the apostles, the leaders, Amen,

Speaker 1: the servants of the Lord Acts Chapter two and forty three. Healings, right, miracles,

Speaker 1: supernatural boldness, And that's what we're talking about today, bold mission,

Speaker 1: a supernatural boldness that God gives us by way of

Speaker 1: his spirit. Amn. Healings, miracles and supernatural boldness were part

Speaker 1: of their witness. So healings, miracles, and supernatural boldness should

Speaker 1: be part of our witness right, authentic cating the Gospel

Speaker 1: and showing the power of God. I believe this generation especially,

Speaker 1: they don't want to hear no more on preachers saying xyz.

Speaker 1: They want to see the power of what we're preaching.

Speaker 1: They want to see the power of God. They want

Speaker 1: to see the sons of God rise up, the daughters

Speaker 1: of God rise up. They want to see things happening,

Speaker 1: because if they hear it all the time, Amen, preachers

Speaker 1: saying x y Z and miracles they're proclaiming and their prophesyen.

Speaker 1: But people want to see the other part of that.

Speaker 1: They want to see the power of the prophecy, the

Speaker 1: power of the promise, the power of the declaration. They

Speaker 1: want to see instead of saying, oh, you're going to

Speaker 1: be blessed, they want to see the blessing. They want

Speaker 1: to see the power of the blessing. They want to

Speaker 1: see the manifestation of who the Lord that we're preaching

Speaker 1: is in their lives. And God's meeting people at their need. Amen,

Speaker 1: all the time He met me at my need. What

Speaker 1: be no needy persons among us. They sold possessions to

Speaker 1: help one another, showing God's love not only in word,

Speaker 1: but listen to this, but in action. That's why I

Speaker 1: believe that this generation they want to see the action

Speaker 1: of what we're saying. They want to see the action

Speaker 1: of what we're preaching. They could hear this over and

Speaker 1: over again. They could read the scriptures uninspired. Unfortunately, some

Speaker 1: people are reading the Bible uninspired. They don't have holy spirit.

Speaker 1: But let's just say that if they were seeking the

Speaker 1: truth and God met them and gave them the answer,

Speaker 1: which is him. He is the Way, the Truth, and

Speaker 1: the Life, the Lord Jesus. Right. Imagine it stops there

Speaker 1: and Jesus doesn't reveal himself anymore, or he doesn't show

Speaker 1: up anymore in people's lives. What do you think what

Speaker 1: happens to that person or those people that we're in

Speaker 1: desperate need of God's move, that we're in desperate need

Speaker 1: to see the act of God, a move of God.

Speaker 1: What do you think is going to happen to those people?

Speaker 1: They're out, They get the first problem, the first issue,

Speaker 1: the first misunderstanding, the first thing that they won't understand

Speaker 1: from the scriptures, and they're going to probably retreat and

Speaker 1: get out and go back into what the world system

Speaker 1: and whatever the world offers. People are here today, gone tomorrow, literally. Amen.

Speaker 1: And what's fascinating to me is that people who say

Speaker 1: I used to be a Christian or I used to

Speaker 1: go to church, and then back in the world. Man,

Speaker 1: they're back drinking, smoking, doing all kind of stuff. They're

Speaker 1: out of control. They have something against the church or

Speaker 1: against the Lord, against the preacher, against the apostles, against it,

Speaker 1: against the disciples. Because they didn't understand and someone or

Speaker 1: some people then come along with these people and say, listen,

Speaker 1: let's try this again. You're missing this part. And man,
