  Speaker 1: word together and spending some time with God.

  Speaker 1: Time with God, it's the most important thing in your life.

  Speaker 1: Have you learned to put it first? Knowing it's the

  Speaker 1: most important doesn't do you any good unless you organise
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: your life to reflect that priority. Set your alarm at
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: a time that enables you to spend some time in
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: God's word each day.

  Speaker 1: And don't just get in a rut of reading a
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: passage and then praying your requests and then going into
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: your day. No, realise that God is there with you.
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: He is speaking to you through His word.
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: And as you speak to him in prayer, don't just
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: bring a list of requests. Talk to him about what
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: he's saying to you. Talk to him about your day.

  Speaker 1: Share with him what's on your heart, your feelings, even
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: if they're feelings of anger or anxiety. Share them with
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: God and then remember who he is and speak in
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: faith to Him about how he's going to be involved
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: in those things. Spend time with God every day.

  Speaker 1: We're talking this week about God's grace in our lives,
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: and today we come to a passage in Ephesians chapter 2.

  Speaker 1: Starting in verse one, it says, and you were dead
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: in your trespasses and sins.
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: In which you formerly walked according to the course of
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: this world that is just like everyone in this world lives.

  Speaker 1: According to the prince of the power of the air
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: of the spirit that is now working in the sons
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: of disobedience, that is, Satan was involved in trying to
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: move you further and further away from God.

  Speaker 1: And among them that is the rest of the people
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: around us, we too all formerly lived in the lusts
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: of the mind.

  Speaker 1: And were by nature children of wrath.

  Speaker 1: Even as the rest.

  Speaker 1: But God

  Speaker 1: Isn't that great? It doesn't just stop by talking about
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: the condition we were in without Jesus Christ, but God,

  Speaker 1: God got involved. He didn't have to. We didn't deserve it,
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: but He loved us.
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: But God being rich in mercy because of His great
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: love with which He loved us even when we were
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: dead in our transgressions.
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: Made us alive together with Christ.
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: By grace you have been saved and raised us up
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: with Jesus and seated us with Him in the heavenly
• 3:06
  Speaker 1: places in Christ Jesus in order that in the ages
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: to come He might show the surpassing riches of His
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, for by
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: grace you have been saved through faith.

  Speaker 1: And that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God,

  Speaker 1: not as the result of works. There's no amount of
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: good works that you do that could have earned what
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: God has done for you in the depths of your sinfulness.

  Speaker 1: God came

  Speaker 1: Not as a result of work, so no one can boast,
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: no one can say I deserved salvation, no.

  Speaker 1: We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

  Speaker 1: God wants to transform your life. Don't think you have
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: to clean your life up before you can come to God,
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: before God would want to talk to you, no.
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: God comes, but God, being rich in mercy, when we're
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: dead in our transgressions and sins, when there's nothing about
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: us that would make us attractive to God, God, because
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: of His love, being rich in mercy, reaches out to us.
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: Jesus died for you so that you could find forgiveness
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: with God.
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: God is ready to give you that forgiveness if you
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: will turn to Him.
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: And invite him to remake your life.
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: The way it needs to be, why don't you turn
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: to God right now and put your trust in Jesus
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: Christ and receive God's forgiveness and become part of His family.
