Winnipeg’s launching a new “Wayfinder” safety program starting September 26 to protect arts patrons heading to and from downtown venues like the Centennial Concert Hall and Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre. Patrollers will offer escorted walks to and from cars before and after shows, available via app or on-demand, and will also cover rehearsals and patrol downtown when no performances are on.
