  what's going on in the Real Housewives of Salt Lake.

  I'm sorry, okay, thanks, all right. Well, if you're looking

  for for some escape, I always recommend the Housewives. So

  this week is episode eight. As per usual, I hate

  the title. It is the Desert and the Deserted. So

  late because we're in Palm Springs this week. So so

  I just want to highlight some of the feuds first
• 1:02
  so you can sound like you were watching. So we've
• 1:05
  got a feud between Meredith versus Angie's husband because he
• 1:08
  said something about Brooks, so Brooks's Meredith's son. And then
• 1:13
  we've got an ongoing feud between Bromwin and Heather, which
• 1:17
  we saw at the end of last week's episode that
• 1:20
  bron was trying to reconcile with Heather and and it
• 1:23
  didn't go well, and so and so because of that
• 1:26
  not reconciling, Heather's not on the trip because Bromwin tried
• 1:29
  to fix things with Heather so that Heather could come
• 1:31
  on this trip to Palm Springs, but it didn't work out.
• 1:33
  So we also have a few going on between Lisa
• 1:36
  and Angie, and so Lisa thinks that Angie called her
• 1:39
  a bad mom. And then we've got a feud going
• 1:42
  on between Lisa and Justin because that is also a
• 1:45
  subset of a few between Lisa and Whitney, because Justin
• 1:49
  is Whitney's husband, So there's a lot going on there.
• 1:52
  In each both Lisa and Justin are demanding an apology
• 1:55
  from the others.
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: So and then wouldn't it be much better if they
• 1:58
  came to actual blows these few?

  Speaker 3: I don't disagree with that.

  Speaker 1: I might watch, Yeah, I.

  Speaker 3: Know, because then I mean we're already willing to throw

  drinks in each other's faces, like, let's take it to

  the next level. Yes, And then this this episode is

  going to end with a feud between I think a

  brewing few or few, the something that's going to turn

  into a few between Bramin and Lisa, So I'll get

  into that. So, as I mentioned, we're in a bar

  on a trip, so it's not a girls trip, it's
• 2:24
  a couple it's a couple's trip, and it's to Palm
• 2:26
  Springs because Bronwin wants to celebrate her anniversaries with her
• 2:30
  husband and invite you know, these ladies and their husbands.

  Mary and Heather don't go on the trip, which is interesting.
• 2:39
  Mary Mary definitely doesn't like a trip. She doesn't I
• 2:42
  don't know if she says explicitly, but she doesn't like
• 2:44
  a trip. And then Heather, like I mentioned, is not
• 2:46
  getting along with Bronwyn and so and also I think
• 2:48
  it's interesting because I think if Mary and Heather both came,
• 2:51
  Heather does not have a partner, and I don't think
• 2:53
  Mary would bring her husband. So it's a couples trip.
• 2:55
  So Bronwyn and her husband offer their private jet to
• 3:00
  fly everybody to Palm Springs.

  Speaker 1: Always and where what's their money from? Him? Again?

  Speaker 3: Uh, he don't he does something? What does he? I

  don't know, I'll look at he He makes a lot

  of money, He makes a lot of money private jets. Yes,

  he's always working too, he's always flying abroad anyway, So

  they and they have it is fun when someone wants

  to say, hey, I've got a private jet and is

  it a prop play? And is it And not that

  I know anything about private jets, but this one wasn't bad.

  It was really pretty. It was very comfortable, and they

  commented on it too, that they were very impressed by it.

  Speaker 1: And you said, you don't know anything about private jets,

  Speaker 3: I mean, I know what I see on the Housewives
• 3:37
  and successions, I've never actually been near with So when

  they when they get to Palm Springs, Bronwyn rented a

  vacation rental called Cavallo Ranch. So go look this up.

  It looks beautiful. The producers make sure to tell us
• 3:54
  it costs twenty thousand dollars a night, and I want
• 3:58
  to go to there. It looks amazing thing and I've
• 4:01
  never been to Palm Springs, but it looks very pretty.

  And so one of the highlights of the of the
• 4:07
  of the trip so far is that Lisa facetimes with
• 4:10
  Heather because they miss her. So I'm going to get
• 4:12
  into that with my quotes of the week. So to
• 4:14
  help us explore what happens. So for our quotes of

  the week, I have I don't like the food in Italy,
• 4:19
  so I don't want to stay there too long. The
• 4:21
  food is too fresh. My this is Lisa and so
• 4:29
  not everyone, no exactly, because she lives off of kit
• 4:33
  kats and diet coke.

  Speaker 2: I hate.

  Speaker 3: A Amen. And if you were ever wondering if housewives

  are dumb, they are so dumb, help me, help us.

  This is just Meredith in a confessional talking about some
• 4:51
  of the challenges she's having with her husband Seth. So

  and then the next quote is when it's you and somebody,
• 4:58
  When if you and somebody I ask better ride here?

  Can I say that? I wouldn't say that, Okay, Like

  it's my job. So, so this is what this is

  is this is the fight, This is the few that

  is now brewing between Bronwyn and Lisa. So what the

  conflict is at a high level is that who has
• 5:18
  who's back? Right? So it so what Bronwin and Lisa

  are arguing about is Lisa is like, well, you don't
• 5:22
  have my back Bronwin and Bronwin saying Lisa, you don't
• 5:25
  have my back, and so as they're arguing, Bronwin's point
• 5:29
  is that Lisa wants Bronwen to have her back in
• 5:32
  certain situations, but if Bronin wants Lisa have her back,
• 5:34
  it's there's different rules for you know what.

  Speaker 1: You know what I think when I say I'd like
• 5:39
  to see them fight, I'd like not with punchers. I'd
• 5:42
  like them to have knife fights.

  Speaker 3: Oh that's even better, you know. Then they take off
• 5:53
  their shoe and they're yeah, yeah, I love that. That

  makes me even anyway, So all right, so then and

  then begin This is broun Win. She says, she's jamming

  sock down that crack to make the divide bigger. So

  it's this crack and their relationship and that Lisa's jamming
• 6:13
  stuff in there to make the divide bigger, all right,
• 6:16
  and then maybe I should tell them because I'm nicer
• 6:19
  than you. So this is Bronwin to her husband. So
• 6:22
  this fight is really getting it's really getting intense, and
• 6:25
  bron Wan's very upset, and so her husband gets involved
• 6:29
  and he says, I'm going to ask them if tell them.
• 6:32
  If they don't tell Lisa and her husband, if they
• 6:33
  don't behave themselves they're going to have to leave, and
• 6:36
  so that's broun Wan saying, well, maybe I should tell
• 6:38
  them because I'm nicer than you. And then in confessional
• 6:41
  she says, I would like for him to come to
• 6:43
  my rescue with a NERF gun nerf gun, not a machete,
• 6:46
  and he only operates in machetes. She's talking about her
• 6:49
  husband wanting to address this issue. So here here are
• 6:52
  my takes about what's going on. I think Heather and
• 6:55
  Lisa are trying to make Brounwin the villain, and I
• 6:57
  think they're working really, really hard in a way that
• 7:00
  not very authentic, because from what I observe, Bronwyn is
• 7:03
  just very direct. She is what you see is what
• 7:06
  you get, and Browin and Lisa and Heather are turning
• 7:09
  this into something else because when you hear Heather's version
• 7:14
  of what she thinks happen between her and Bronwin, and
• 7:16
  then Lisa's just going to stand with Heather, it's weird
• 7:19
  because she doesn't even know what all the facts are.
• 7:22
  And Lisa and Heather, Lisa and Broman go way back.
• 7:24
  So this is absolutely absolutely And then what I'm noticing
• 7:30
  again is Bronwen's the freshman housewife. She's learning the rules
• 7:33
  of being a housewife. Because how this fight starts is
• 7:36
  while they're sitting there in the hot tub, Lisa's like,
• 7:40
  I'm miss Heather. I wish she was here, Brahma's not there,
• 7:43
  and so she face times Heather. And then Bronwin walks
• 7:46
  back to the hot tub and notices they're face tiving Heather,
• 7:48
  and she says, what is this about? And then and
• 7:51
  then Bronwack can tell that Lisa's taking Heather's side on
• 7:53
  this conflict between them without even hearing Bronwin's side. So
• 7:56
  it's interesting because I'm curious to see if Bronwin continues
• 7:59
  to be able to handle herself in her direct, very
• 8:01
  forthcoming way or she ends up over you know, coming seasons,
• 8:05
  having to play the housewives game and being passive aggressive,
• 8:08
  being a bitch or you know whatever, yeah, and playing.
• 8:10
  I'm just but I really like what she's bringing to
• 8:12
  this because I can relate to all of this.
• 8:13
  Speaker 2: And so anyway, no, well real quick, here, Steph has
• 8:18
  something she wants to bounce off of you.

  Speaker 3: Yes please.

  Speaker 2: This week had the husband's and it was truly annoying.
• 8:24
  They talk like they're reading their lines purely bad acting
• 8:29
  for the camera. Yeah, what's your take on that?

  Speaker 3: You know, I was totally thinking about that as well.

  And what I was thinking is that, you know, when
• 8:36
  they're filming, they sometimes have to like read like like
• 8:39
  reposition cameras and you film something, you had to start again.

  So it made me think that maybe at one point
• 8:44
  they were having a somewhat authentic conversation, but then they
• 8:48
  had to stop the cameras and do it again, and
• 8:49
  they're like, oh no, how do we recreate the moment?

  Speaker 2: We also Steph says that Bronwin's husband started the Palm
• 8:56
  pilot and that's why he's so rich.

  Speaker 3: We make that's right, thank you, step See. If this

  is a team effort, I really appreciate that. Yeah, And

  I do think the husband somebody's trying to emulate what

  the women are doing and they should just like, hey,

  you know they're gonna hang just do it so real quick.

  There's a new show that's ma Am Bravo that's set

  in Salt Lake, is called Sold on salt Lake and
• 9:17
  apparently it's about billion dollar real estate.

  Speaker 2: Deals and aren't there crossover?

  Speaker 1: Isn't like Lisa part of it? Or yes?

  Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, she's gonna make appearances, so I will be
