- 2:14Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister here along with Dana Roselli.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: What's up?
- 2:19Dayna Roselli: Hey, how are you doing?
- 2:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we want to thank all our new listeners.
- 2:22Dayna Roselli: Our numbers are up recently and we love it.
- 2:24Dayna Roselli: We've been experiencing growth over the last gosh four years now.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: And um recently we can see different cities hopping on board.
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: And we just want to remind everyone if you like the podcast, five stars, and feel free to leave us a review.
- 2:39Dayna Roselli: We love reading them.
- 2:40Sean McAllister: And share it with your friends.
- 2:41Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:41Sean McAllister: Why not?
- 2:42Sean McAllister: So, yes, for all of our new listeners, thank you so much for tuning in.
- 2:46Sean McAllister: Thank you for your time.
- 2:47Sean McAllister: And for our longtime listeners, of course, uh, you know how much we appreciate you.
- 2:52Sean McAllister: So we'll say it again.
- 2:54Sean McAllister: We appreciate you.
- 2:54Sean McAllister: Thank you.
- 2:55Dayna Roselli: Definitely.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: It's it's great to be here.
- 2:57Dayna Roselli: And there's a lot of choice when it comes to podcasts.
- 3:00Dayna Roselli: And you all often tell us why you like our podcast and what makes us different.
- 3:05Dayna Roselli: And we appreciate that.
- 3:06Dayna Roselli: We're two longtime broadcasters who have been doing this a long time on television and radio, and we just really enjoy having conversations about life in Las Vegas and entertainment.
- 3:21Dayna Roselli: But we do it with a little bit of a news twist.
- 3:23Dayna Roselli: You know, we check our facts.
- 3:24Dayna Roselli: We don't just, you know, report all rumors and stuff like that.
- 3:28Dayna Roselli: We aren't, I wouldn't call us like bloggers.
- 3:30Dayna Roselli: We are legit.
- 3:32Sean McAllister: Well, we're journalists.
- 3:33Dayna Roselli: Journalists, yeah.
- 3:35Dayna Roselli: Is what we are.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: That's what makes us different, I feel like, when it comes to our podcast.
- 3:38Dayna Roselli: And all those podcasts definitely have a, you know, reason to be around, and people love listening to all of them.
- 3:44Dayna Roselli: And some there's some foodie podcasts and that kind of thing.
- 3:47Dayna Roselli: And those are all wonderful, but that's what makes us different.
- 3:49Dayna Roselli: So welcome aboard.
- 3:51Sean McAllister: And uh one thing that really makes us excited is the city of Las Vegas and the entertainers here, even some of the iconic entertainers of years past, like Siegfried and Roy, who of course had a long history here in Las Vegas.
- 4:09Sean McAllister: And now one of their Las Vegas compounds is going on the market.
- 4:15Sean McAllister: So you could live like Siegfried and Roy did.
- 4:19Sean McAllister: And especially if you have uh lions and tigers for pets, this compound has a place for them.
- 4:25Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:25Dayna Roselli: I mean, listen, Siegfried and Roy, there was always this like mystique around them, right?
- 4:29Dayna Roselli: And this magic people would come to Las Vegas just to see Siegfried and Roy.
- 4:34Dayna Roselli: Sure.
- 4:35Dayna Roselli: Incredible duo and illusionists, they've had some mishaps through the years.
- 4:39Dayna Roselli: Unfortunately, both of them passed away.
- 4:42Dayna Roselli: And so people here, I think, feel like, hey, we need to preserve this house.
- 4:48Sean McAllister: I feel like we need to.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: The people who've lived here a long time and know the importance of history.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: Um, so I'm really hoping that once this compound goes up for sale, that maybe someone will not not live in it, but either keep portions of it the same or maybe not live in it and I don't know, put it out there as a museum or something.
- 5:11Dayna Roselli: But it's pretty incredible to look at some of the pictures because of the Siegfried and Roy branding.
- 5:16Dayna Roselli: And like you said, the fact that there are spaces where animals could actually live.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: So it's three million bucks, which isn't horrible.
- 5:25Sean McAllister: Well, especially not when you consider everything you get.
- 5:27Sean McAllister: Wait till you hear the details about what's included in this property.
- 5:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, there's it's funny because they have the main house, and what there's only what, two bedrooms in the main house, I think it is.
- 5:38Sean McAllister: Uh, two bedrooms in the main house, yeah, which I was shocked because I think it's gosh, wasn't it like 8,000 square feet, the house, 8,700 square feet, something like that.
- 5:49Sean McAllister: So I was shocked that there were only two bedrooms in a house that size.
- 5:54Sean McAllister: However, there are three other guest houses on the property that brings the total number of rooms to nine on this compound.
- 6:05Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 6:06Dayna Roselli: So, yeah, because we wondered.
- 6:08Dayna Roselli: We were looking around, like, oh, okay, that explains it.
- 6:11Dayna Roselli: There's also multiple water features, three pools, a jacuzzi, six electric gates.
- 6:17Dayna Roselli: Um, there's studios.
- 6:19Dayna Roselli: Apparently, there's like, you know, numerous uh animal enclosures, and then a bird sanctuary, too.
- 6:26Dayna Roselli: So uh we have a friend on Instagram that went through the tour and she sent us some of her video, and we recently showed that in our segment in Los Angeles on KCal.
- 6:35Dayna Roselli: And the Moroccan theme is very prevalent in the video.
- 6:41Dayna Roselli: You can see the ceilings with the, you know, the colors and the hanging little tassels and things like that.
- 6:47Dayna Roselli: Um, you can see some incredible, almost like paintings in the ceilings, and then the ornate gold accents.
- 6:55Dayna Roselli: It just it's so Siegfried and Roy.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: That's all I can really explain, how I can explain it.
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: But yes, very Moroccan theory.
- 7:02Sean McAllister: It is, and there are beautiful stained glass windows throughout.
- 7:06Sean McAllister: And um, I believe the the main house was built in the 1950s.
- 7:13Sean McAllister: Uh, and you know, it has definitely been kept in the style that it was when uh Siegfried and Roy called it their home.
- 7:23Sean McAllister: Um something else.
- 7:25Sean McAllister: So by the way, this compound is called the Jungle Palace, which is a very fitting name for this house.
- 7:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it's uh eight acres, so pretty big area.
- 7:38Dayna Roselli: Everything about it, go to our social media, it's f it's over the top, right?
- 7:43Sean McAllister: You know, I like fabulous too.
- 7:45Dayna Roselli: Fabulous, yeah, all of that.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: Um, Siegfried and Roy, apparently they lived in separate houses.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: Roy was in one, uh, Siegfried was in another, and apparently some of the tigers slept with Roy, even in the in the main bedroom.
- 7:58Sean McAllister: I don't know if I'd uh be okay with it.
- 8:00Dayna Roselli: I don't either, but you know, they were his like his children.
- 8:03Sean McAllister: I have trouble with my 24-pound dog sleeping in our bed sometime.
- 8:07Sean McAllister: I mean, even when he stretches out his legs, like yeah, that's not comfortable.
- 8:13Dayna Roselli: If there's a tiger, feeling that they probably had like a double, double king bed, right?
- 8:21Dayna Roselli: Or something in that California king.
- 8:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: So anyway, um, check out some of the pictures that we posted.
- 8:27Dayna Roselli: It's pretty incredible to see, and it's up for sale for three million dollars.
- 8:31Dayna Roselli: Um, there's another property, they're gonna demolish the building and build some type of apartment complex or something.
- 8:37Dayna Roselli: It was approved by the city a while back.
- 8:39Dayna Roselli: Everyone besides Mayor Carolyn Goodman voted to have that happen.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: She wanted it to stick, which I agree with Carolyn.
- 8:45Sean McAllister: I do too.
- 8:46Dayna Roselli: They are a part of our history, and I really wish that would have stayed.
- 8:49Dayna Roselli: But anyway, three million bucks.
- 8:50Dayna Roselli: We'll see what happens if someone will buy it, use it as a museum, um, actually move in and ship everything out.
- 8:58Dayna Roselli: Um, apparently the furnishings that are in it for staging do not come with the home.
- 9:03Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 9:03Sean McAllister: I was wondering about that.
- 9:04Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 9:05Sean McAllister: Because there is one room where there's a dining room table set up, and then over in the corner there's a hot tub.
- 9:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:11Sean McAllister: I was like, this is really weird to have a hot tub in the dining room.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: But I think it was maybe set up as like a sunroom kind of thing.
- 9:19Dayna Roselli: I feel like in bathrooms.
- 9:20Sean McAllister: For functional purposes.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: There were weird things like that, right?
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: Well, that's true.
- 9:24Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 9:24Dayna Roselli: Like I mean you look at old houses, you're like, why is this like this?
- 9:27Sean McAllister: But it's not what we would do today, but in the main bathroom, there is a urinal with like gold plumbing fixtures attached to it.
- 9:35Dayna Roselli: That's fancy.
- 9:36Sean McAllister: It is.
- 9:38Dayna Roselli: Well, listen, let's hop over to the Mirage.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: Um, because you know, Siegfried and Roy performed at the ra Mirage for many, many years.
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: So it got us thinking like, what's going on with the Mirage lately?
- 9:49Dayna Roselli: And we noticed the Hard Rock guitar is going up for a vote on March 22nd.
- 9:54Dayna Roselli: Um, the county commission, the Clark County Commission, is gonna vote on this.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: So the strip, Las Vegas Strip, is in the county, not the city of Las Vegas, and that's why they're doing the vote.
- 10:03Sean McAllister: Yeah, and uh, we've talked about this before.
- 10:05Sean McAllister: The Hard Rock purchased the Mirage, and it will at some point in time in the next couple years be fully rebranded as the Hard Rock as part of their uh renovation of the property.
- 10:18Sean McAllister: Uh, the volcano, that famous Mirage volcano, there are plans to take that out and replace it with this massive glass guitar hotel tower.
- 10:32Sean McAllister: Um, which the way that it's situated on the Las Vegas Strip, right at the Mirage, the strip kind of takes a turn.
- 10:42Sean McAllister: So when you're looking north up Las Vegas Boulevard from let's say Caesar's Palace or the Flamingo, uh you're going to see that massive guitar tower straight ahead of you.
- 10:57Sean McAllister: Like that is going to be the focal point as you look north up Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 11:03Sean McAllister: There's been mixed reaction to this uh plan for a guitar tower in that place.
- 11:10Sean McAllister: Right.
- 11:11Sean McAllister: Um so we'll see what the county commission has to say about it, whether they're in favor of it or if they think it's gonna be an ISOR.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: I'm curious.
- 11:18Dayna Roselli: I'm I'm really gonna pay attention to this vote.
- 11:20Dayna Roselli: I'm curious to see what they think.
- 11:22Sean McAllister: Yeah, I have mixed feelings.
- 11:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah, me too.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: So I don't know.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: Um March 22nd, we will keep you posted.
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: That'll be probably in the next or the next podcast or the next one after that.
- 11:32Dayna Roselli: But we'll uh definitely post some information on our social media once that gets voted.
- 11:37Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 11:37Sean McAllister: Uh we went to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway uh for the spring uh Penzoil 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup series race.
- 11:50Sean McAllister: And once again, we just had a great time.
- 11:55Sean McAllister: We want to thank Chris Powell up at the Speedway for and his wife Missy for inviting us and uh hosting us uh as we were there.
- 12:04Sean McAllister: But there were aside from the race, there were some other things that we noticed that we really wanted to talk about.
- 12:10Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 12:11Dayna Roselli: We went down to the bottom near like kind of like pit row, and we didn't do that last time.
- 12:16Dayna Roselli: And we were amazed at what goes down there, down, what goes down, down there.
- 12:23Dayna Roselli: Down, down.
- 12:24Dayna Roselli: Um yeah, and I say down because we actually had to go underground and up again to get to the other side.
- 12:29Dayna Roselli: So it was it was kind of cool.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: You're on one side of the speedway, but you need to go under and up to get to the other side because the track's in the middle.
- 12:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 12:37Dayna Roselli: So anyway, we went over there and I loved seeing like all the preparation before the race.
- 12:43Dayna Roselli: Like I was noticing like one driver was like laying on the ground and he had someone like stretching his legs and arms.
- 12:49Dayna Roselli: And I thought, wow, this makes sense.
- 12:51Dayna Roselli: I mean, you're locked and loaded in that race going, you know, however fast you're gonna go.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: Um, for a long period of time, you've gotta, you've gotta be ready.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: I'm sure muscles tense up, all that.
- 13:02Sean McAllister: Well, and aside from the drivers being stretched out and and getting ready before they hopped in the car for, you know, the 267 laps around the the speedway there, the pit crews were also doing their own warmups and stretches and calisthenic routines to get ready because those pit crews are incredible, they are amazing.
- 13:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 13:30Dayna Roselli: They had like this group little huddle too, right?
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: Before it was like a team meeting, you know, and like, I mean, they you're right, they prepped, we watched them stretching, and we were like, this is you're right, intense.
- 13:41Dayna Roselli: Well, because we wonder, like, you have to do it so quick, change those tires, do all that.
- 13:46Dayna Roselli: Like, I can't even imagine what skill that takes.
- 13:49Sean McAllister: I know.
- 13:49Dayna Roselli: And the safety of the driver is and really all the other cars around that driver, because if that car spins out and sets on fire and hits another one, I mean, there's a lot of pressure on you.
- 13:59Sean McAllister: There is.
- 14:00Sean McAllister: And I mean, seeing the coordination and the preparation and uh all the behind-the-scenes action over there in the pit really was fascinating.
- 14:11Sean McAllister: And if you ever get the chance, definitely uh take in a race from that vantage point because it does give you a different perspective on what's going on there.
- 14:22Dayna Roselli: We are really starting to love it.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: Again, we want to thank Chris and Missy for inviting us.
- 14:26Dayna Roselli: And they they told us once you see it in person, you're really gonna love it.
- 14:29Dayna Roselli: And you and I are really starting to love it.
- 14:31Sean McAllister: It's so fun.
- 14:32Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 14:33Dayna Roselli: And you know, we had someone, you know, write us on Twitter and say, Oh, what?
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: You couldn't go to the media center, you had to go to the owner's suite.
- 14:38Dayna Roselli: And I said, you know what?
- 14:39Dayna Roselli: Like, listen, this is Vegas Revealed.
- 14:41Dayna Roselli: That's how we roll.
- 14:42Dayna Roselli: We got an invitation to go to the owner's suite, so we said yes.
- 14:46Dayna Roselli: We can't help it.
- 14:47Dayna Roselli: What are we gonna do?
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: Say no, no, we're going.
- 14:49Dayna Roselli: I'm gonna have shrimp, I'm gonna have a Diet Coke, and I'm gonna sit there warm and cozy behind the glass in the owner's suite, a front seat to the whole race, and I'm gonna watch because I was invited.
- 15:04Sean McAllister: It is a nice way to watch the race.
- 15:06Sean McAllister: It is without a doubt.
- 15:08Dayna Roselli: But we did do both.
- 15:09Dayna Roselli: We did one side and then we went up to the suite.
- 15:10Dayna Roselli: Um, we did see the new governor up there, Joe Lombardo and his wife.
- 15:14Dayna Roselli: They were actually in the owner's suite as well.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: Also, all the Thunderbird pilots came in, which was great.
- 15:20Dayna Roselli: The Air Force Thunderbirds did a flyover.
- 15:22Dayna Roselli: Um, they're based over at Nellis.
- 15:24Dayna Roselli: We love them, and it was so great to see them in person.
- 15:27Dayna Roselli: A young bunch, too.
- 15:28Sean McAllister: They are a young bunch, right?
- 15:30Sean McAllister: And let me tell you, we nearly needed to change our pants with the flyover that they did because you know, you expect those planes to fly over at the end of the national anthem like they like they'd normally do.
- 15:44Sean McAllister: So that's what we saw.
- 15:46Sean McAllister: The national anthem ended, the planes flew over.
- 15:49Sean McAllister: We were like, wow, that was so cool.
- 15:51Sean McAllister: It was really loud, too.
- 15:53Sean McAllister: Um, and then we were standing there uh next to one of the uh pit crew uh areas, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the planes did a reverse flyover.
- 16:07Sean McAllister: Yeah, they changed course and buzzed the track, and it like it was so close where we looked up and you could see the afterburners in those uh jet engines just shooting out, like you could see the fire up inside of those engines.
- 16:24Sean McAllister: It was insane, and we were completely caught off guard, right?
- 16:29Sean McAllister: And one of the uh, I think it was a firefighter at the track was standing next to us, and he was like, Yeah, I knew they were gonna do that.
- 16:38Dayna Roselli: And then Roselli was like, Come on, man, you couldn't give us a heads up on that.
- 16:42Dayna Roselli: But I had the chills because I was like, this is a top gun Tom Cruise moment for me.
- 16:46Sean McAllister: It was, it was a buzz the tower moment.
- 16:49Dayna Roselli: But it was scary.
- 16:50Dayna Roselli: I had a friend that was in the stands write me on Instagram after she saw my reel, and she said, That second flyby scared the crap out of me.
- 16:59Dayna Roselli: And I thought, yeah, it really was like out of nowhere.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: I mean, they have to go back, right?
- 17:04Dayna Roselli: But they could have gone like up and around.
- 17:06Sean McAllister: They they could have.
- 17:06Dayna Roselli: Or a little higher.
- 17:07Sean McAllister: They gave us an extra show.
- 17:09Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 17:09Sean McAllister: So it was.
- 17:10Sean McAllister: It was great seeing those Thunderbird pilots up in the air and uh back in the back on the ground in the suite there.
- 17:18Sean McAllister: And they are very skilled uh airmen and women, and we applaud them for everything they do.
- 17:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it was great.
- 17:27Dayna Roselli: Big kudos to uh Terry Fader, who did the national anthem.
- 17:31Dayna Roselli: Terry Fader, one of our longtime Las Vegas headliners here in town, he was the one who did the anthem.
- 17:36Dayna Roselli: So it was a very Vegas-y opening.
- 17:38Dayna Roselli: Um, so anyway, we'll be back in the fall to go back again, and and you guys should all go too at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
- 17:45Sean McAllister: Hey, uh Keith Urban, we mentioned this last week.
- 17:49Sean McAllister: He kicked off his new Las Vegas residency, Keith Urban.
- 17:53Sean McAllister: Uh live in Las Vegas.
- 17:55Sean McAllister: Live in Las Vegas, the residency over at Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood.
- 18:00Sean McAllister: Uh, we went over there, and what a musician he is.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah, well, and you had seen him at the Coliseum, right?
- 18:06Dayna Roselli: Is that where you saw him?
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: Okay, and I had I've never seen him.
- 18:09Dayna Roselli: So I was looking forward to.
- 18:11Dayna Roselli: I have some friends at home that are like Keith Urban fans times 10.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: They were telling me the whole rundown what songs to listen to before I went to the show, asking me, I wonder if he's gonna give away one of his guitars like he usually does.
- 18:25Dayna Roselli: I said, I'll get the lowdown.
- 18:26Dayna Roselli: Uh, but you had seen him and you said he was fantastic.
- 18:28Dayna Roselli: I was excited to see him for the first time because I heard he's fantastic.
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: And yeah, we went to the Zappos Theater uh to see this new show, and it was packed.
- 18:38Dayna Roselli: I was like, we got in there and I was like, I felt like every seat was taken.
- 18:42Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 18:42Dayna Roselli: Pretty much.
- 18:43Dayna Roselli: There were two actually next to us that were empty, and they might have been someone that couldn't make it or something like that, but the whole theater was packed.
- 18:50Sean McAllister: And during the show, uh, nearly the entire theater was up on its feet the entire time for the most part.
- 18:59Sean McAllister: Right.
- 18:59Sean McAllister: Which you don't normally see at a Las Vegas show.
- 19:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it kind of depends.
- 19:05Dayna Roselli: You're right.
- 19:06Dayna Roselli: Depends on what kind of I mean, people love Keith Urban.
- 19:08Dayna Roselli: I he is a great musician, like you said, great voice, a great talent.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: I was excited when they finally put him up on the big screens behind him because I couldn't see that close.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: And so I thought um I was happy that they did that after a few songs because I thought, oh no, um, because we were a little farther back, and I was like, I really want to see like his hand playing the guitar and stuff like that.
- 19:28Dayna Roselli: So listen, if you're a Keith Urban fan, splurge and get up close.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: Um, but if not, eventually they do bring everyone up on the big screen.
- 19:35Dayna Roselli: I know a part that you loved is when they actually introduced the musicians that were on stage with him, they were fabulous.
- 19:42Sean McAllister: They really were.
- 19:43Sean McAllister: And you know, normally when you go see uh a concert or a residency show, when the main entertainer introduces the band, you know, they go around the horn, they'll, you know, maybe the saxophone guy does a little ditty on his horn, and the drummer does a little drum riff.
- 20:02Sean McAllister: What was cool about what Keith Urban did is he gave each of his band members, he like brought them center stage and had them put on their own show.
- 20:15Sean McAllister: And uh they got to, I'm assuming, choose a song of their choice to play and or sing.
- 20:24Sean McAllister: Um and it was really cool to see the level of musicianship that each of those band members possesses.
- 20:34Sean McAllister: And then when you put them all together, it really is phenomenal.
- 20:39Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 20:40Dayna Roselli: And a lot of fun.
- 20:41Dayna Roselli: And he also did give away a guitar.
- 20:43Dayna Roselli: He did.
- 20:43Dayna Roselli: That was the answer to that question, just in case you want to know.
- 20:46Dayna Roselli: If you go to see the residency, it's if it's the same as when he does his concert.
- 20:50Dayna Roselli: So there was that.
- 20:51Dayna Roselli: Um, I did download the song that he does with Carrie Underwood.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: I forgot I love that song, and now I've got it on my Spotify.
- 20:58Dayna Roselli: Um, so I left with that.
- 21:00Dayna Roselli: Um, listen, I I'm not even gonna say this is a negative at all, but my only negative about the show, and it's not even a negative, is it did critique it would be that it it felt very much like like Miranda Lambert did, like a very much like a more of a concert than a Vegasy show, but it was fabulous.
- 21:20Dayna Roselli: It sounded great.
- 21:21Dayna Roselli: Nobody, if you're a Keith Urban fan, you're not disappointed.
- 21:24Dayna Roselli: I mean, listen, it was a great show.
- 21:26Dayna Roselli: I was looking for something maybe a little unique or Vegas style, but you know, that's not what Keith is about, maybe, and and that that's fine too.
- 21:38Dayna Roselli: So it it worked, it was packed, and I have a feeling he's just gonna sell just fine.
- 21:42Sean McAllister: I think so.
- 21:43Sean McAllister: And uh side note the two uh women who were sitting right in front of us, this was their 13th Keith Urban show.
- 21:53Sean McAllister: They had seen a bunch of them.
- 21:55Sean McAllister: One show that they were planning to go to was canceled because of the pandemic.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: So they were excited to be back and to be here in Las Vegas and see their guy.
- 22:06Sean McAllister: Um, they even made a sign.
- 22:08Dayna Roselli: They did.
- 22:08Dayna Roselli: They had that sign and they said, listen, we're gonna hold this sign up in front of you.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: Don't get mad at us.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: And we're like, no, do your sign.
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: You spent a lot of time on it, right?
- 22:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: We get it.
- 22:18Dayna Roselli: You're a huge super fan.
- 22:19Dayna Roselli: You deserve to hold your sign up.
- 22:21Dayna Roselli: Go on.
- 22:21Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 22:22Sean McAllister: And they did.
- 22:24Dayna Roselli: They sure did.
- 22:25Dayna Roselli: Hey, also, uh coming up soon, Maroon 5 is gonna kick off their residency over at the Park MGM.
- 22:31Dayna Roselli: So looking forward to that.
- 22:33Dayna Roselli: That is actually right at the end of March, March 24th and 5th, I think they kick off that weekend.
- 22:40Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: So that'll be good.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: That same weekend, the horseshoe is having its grand opening.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: And when we say the horseshoe, with the former Bally's, it's officially all moved over, the carpet's fresh, they've redone the inside, and now they're doing like a big grand opening um that weekend as well.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: So I'm excited that we've officially switched over to the horseshoe, brand new kind of name, but an old name brought back to the strip.
- 23:05Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:05Sean McAllister: So we'll be going over to uh check out that grand opening.
- 23:09Sean McAllister: Also that week, um, that Thursday, the 23rd, six, the Broadway musical, uh, which uh won a Tony Award.
- 23:19Sean McAllister: I forget exactly which award it won.
- 23:23Sean McAllister: At any rate, it's phenomenal.
- 23:25Sean McAllister: Uh, it's been on Broadway, it's been out touring the country, and now uh the musical is doing an eight-week residency over at the Venetian.
- 23:36Sean McAllister: So that kicks off on Thursday, March 23rd.
- 23:39Sean McAllister: And it's a fantastic show.
- 23:40Sean McAllister: It's one of my favorites.
- 23:42Sean McAllister: The music is great.
- 23:43Sean McAllister: Um, so I recommend that highly.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing that over at the Venetian for the first time.
- 23:48Dayna Roselli: So, because you've talked so highly about it.
- 23:51Dayna Roselli: Hey, I thought I'd mention this.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: There's a new restaurant coming to Caesars Palace, and the reason is I was trying to think.
- 23:55Dayna Roselli: I was like, when's the last time something new has opened in Caesar's Palace?
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: It's been a while.
- 23:59Dayna Roselli: Now, many things, many restaurants have opened at the forum shops, which is attached to Caesars Palace, but the actual hotel casino portion, because the forum shops is kind of it's attached, but it's run by a different company and all that kind of thing.
- 24:12Dayna Roselli: So Caesars Palace hasn't really opened something new inside in a while.
- 24:17Dayna Roselli: So I'm looking forward to going to this.
- 24:19Sean McAllister: Yeah, there have been some other, there have been some like bar concepts that have opened.
- 24:24Sean McAllister: I know there was the um uh a pastry uh shop that opened in there, but as far as like a sit-down restaurant, I think this is the first in years, new like, yeah, sit-down restaurant in a while.
- 24:39Dayna Roselli: I think we went to Bobby Flay's new restaurant.
- 24:41Dayna Roselli: That was what's what, three years ago, two and a half years ago?
- 24:44Dayna Roselli: That was new.
- 24:44Sean McAllister: I think so, yeah.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: And that was the last time.
- 24:47Dayna Roselli: But listen, they have some staples in Caesars Palace at work.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: It doesn't mean that you have to constantly be opening something new, but I just thought, okay, this is worth a mention.
- 24:54Dayna Roselli: It's right next to Omni and Nightclub, and it's going to be opened by the Tau Group, and it's called Stanton Social Prime.
- 25:00Dayna Roselli: And it um is going to feature, apparently, this already caught my attention, the famous French onion soup dumplings topped with cheese and garlic croutons, as well as pierogies made with potato goat, cheese, and truffle.
- 25:20Dayna Roselli: So, I mean, the menu looks amazing.
- 25:22Dayna Roselli: I'm looking forward to this.
- 25:24Dayna Roselli: It is right next to Omnia, the restaurant that was there before, what was it called?
- 25:27Dayna Roselli: Seer was it uh Seersucker.
- 25:29Dayna Roselli: Seersucker.
- 25:30Dayna Roselli: And that was there for a long time.
- 25:31Dayna Roselli: So changing that over, we'll be heading over to the uh grand opening to check it out and let you know how it is.
- 25:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, uh Seersucker, the chef over there was Brian Millarkey, who is well known from uh being on top chef.
- 25:45Sean McAllister: And actually, in my recent trip down to San Diego, um we ate at one of his restaurants and he was walking through, stopped over at the table to chat, and um good to see him.
- 25:55Sean McAllister: But yeah, yeah, his Seersucker's been replaced.
- 25:58Dayna Roselli: Okay, well, and Chef Santos is is heading in to take that over, so it'll be good.
- 26:03Dayna Roselli: And we were like thinking, like, wait, is Omnia owned by Tau Group now?
- 26:07Dayna Roselli: And then we looked it up and we're like, Oh yeah, it changed hands.
- 26:09Dayna Roselli: So that'll be a nice little partnership there with the restaurant next door and then the nightclub.
- 26:15Dayna Roselli: Um, I haven't been to Omnia in a while either.
- 26:17Dayna Roselli: Can't make it to everything, but um they're still going.
- 26:21Dayna Roselli: Hey, um, we wanted to quickly talk about this new slot machine winnings proposal.
- 26:26Dayna Roselli: We think this will interest a lot of you because we know a lot of our listeners love Las Vegas, but also do visit Las Vegas regularly.
- 26:34Dayna Roselli: Or you're a local who likes to play the slot machines.
- 26:37Sean McAllister: This is something I'm excited about.
- 26:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 26:39Sean McAllister: Even though I have never won anything on a slot machine that has hit the uh mandatory W-2 threshold, um I'm excited about it because now uh our Nevada Congresswoman, Dina Titus, is proposing that the threshold for mandatory tax filings on a slot machine jackpot be increased from twelve hundred dollars, which it's been for decades.
- 27:11Sean McAllister: Now the proposal is to increase that threshold to five thousand dollars.
- 27:16Sean McAllister: So if you win anything under five thousand dollars, you would not be uh required automatically to file a W-2 on your casino winnings.
- 27:30Dayna Roselli: Right, like on the spot we're talking about, where they actually bring you the forms.
- 27:34Dayna Roselli: It was interesting her reasoning behind this.
- 27:37Dayna Roselli: Um she was saying, you know, like you win, you're excited about it.
- 27:41Dayna Roselli: A lot of times these slot attendants and the staff are busy, it's a busy night.
- 27:45Dayna Roselli: So, you know, the slot machine stops, you have to sit there, you have to wait for the attendant to come, fill out the paperwork, and it kind of like, you know, kind of like tarnishes your spirit a little bit.
- 27:55Dayna Roselli: It's like, you know, if you think about it, well, these people, if they won that much and then they cash out, they might hop right over to another machine and keep the high going, you know?
- 28:03Dayna Roselli: But sometimes you have to wait a really long time and it kind of ruins the party.
- 28:08Sean McAllister: It does.
- 28:08Sean McAllister: It does.
- 28:09Dayna Roselli: And also for folks that win at the airport, you might have a flight to catch.
- 28:13Dayna Roselli: What do you do?
- 28:13Dayna Roselli: You got to sit around and wait for the paperwork to come.
- 28:15Dayna Roselli: It could be a little bit of a hassle, right?
- 28:17Sean McAllister: Yeah, you don't want that.
- 28:18Dayna Roselli: And then uh they were also saying, like, listen, twelve hundred dollars is not what it used to be.
- 28:23Dayna Roselli: That used to be like a lot of money, but with inflation and the way things cost today, it's a whole new world.
- 28:28Dayna Roselli: And we should up it to$5,000.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: So I thought that was interesting.
- 28:31Dayna Roselli: Um, it having to do with all the the fact that it act you actually stop everything in order to fill out this paperwork.
- 28:39Dayna Roselli: So now you won't have to do that unless you win$5,000 or more if they pass this proposal.
- 28:43Sean McAllister: Right.
- 28:44Sean McAllister: And that got us wondering well, like, are you supposed to claim all of your uh gambling winnings?
- 28:51Sean McAllister: You know, even if it's under that threshold.
- 28:54Sean McAllister: So we reached out to our amazing uh tax professional Tracy from Targeted Tax Relief.
- 29:00Sean McAllister: Uh, you've heard targeted tax relief mentioned here on the podcast many times before.
- 29:05Sean McAllister: Um, so we said, Tracy, what's the deal with uh gambling winnings?
- 29:11Sean McAllister: And she said, technically, you are supposed to claim all of your winnings.
- 29:17Sean McAllister: Now, if you are a big gambler, you can weigh the winnings against your losses, but you need to sit down with a tax professional like Tracy who uh can hash all that out.
- 29:29Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 29:30Sean McAllister: However, right now, if you win under$1,200, the IRS is not going to be automatically notified of your winnings.
- 29:39Sean McAllister: So it could fly under the radar a little bit.
- 29:43Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 29:43Dayna Roselli: I mean, that's up to you.
- 29:45Dayna Roselli: You're supposed to claim it, but yeah, apparently, like you said, the$1,200 generates this W2G form, which then you know has to be filed and all that kind of thing.
- 29:53Dayna Roselli: But if it goes to the$5,000, it the form won't come until then.
- 29:57Dayna Roselli: And so anything under$5,000, that's your responsibility.
- 30:02Sean McAllister: So good on uh Congresswoman Dina Titus for proposing this plan to uh up the tax threshold for slot machine winnings to$5,000.
- 30:12Sean McAllister: I am excited about this and I hope that it gets pushed through.
- 30:16Dayna Roselli: Well, one thing you did say is that, and I don't play a lot of slot machines or the video poker, but you said, you know, it's kind of not easy, but realistically, a lot of people win$1,200 or more on these poker machines.
- 30:29Dayna Roselli: Oh, for sure.
- 30:30Sean McAllister: It happens all the time, kind of for sure.
- 30:31Sean McAllister: Even if you're doing yeah, the bar top poker and you get a royal, I mean, uh boom, that's a good chunk of change right there.
- 30:39Sean McAllister: You know, if you can keep$4,499.99 in your pocket without having to file a form, that's good news.
- 30:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, sure is.
- 30:50Dayna Roselli: All right, let's do some tips.
- 30:55Dayna Roselli: Hey, Sean, uh, tips today kind of go together because I thought of the first one that I saw on Twitter, and then I thought, oh yeah.
- 31:04Dayna Roselli: And then uh the second one's gonna just flow right into it.
- 31:07Dayna Roselli: But the first one was something that I saw Clark County put out on Twitter, and I thought, I didn't know this.
- 31:13Dayna Roselli: And you said, Oh yeah, I knew.
- 31:14Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, I had no idea.
- 31:15Dayna Roselli: So what it is is like a lot of people love to take pictures at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.
- 31:20Dayna Roselli: We have the main one.
- 31:21Dayna Roselli: Sometimes the line can get pretty long.
- 31:23Dayna Roselli: Oh, sure.
- 31:23Dayna Roselli: It's a small lot.
- 31:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you have to park, it can be a little manic, that kind of thing.
- 31:27Dayna Roselli: Um, it's right there on Las Vegas Boulevard before you get to Mandalay Bay.
- 31:31Dayna Roselli: But apparently there is another sign I had no idea on Boulder Highway near Tropicana.
- 31:37Dayna Roselli: So way over on the east side.
- 31:38Dayna Roselli: But they were like, hey, if you don't want to line up for a picture, this is a great place to go.
- 31:45Dayna Roselli: If you want that welcome to Las Vegas sign, it is.
- 31:47Sean McAllister: I forgot, I forget when I first recognized that there was a sign over there on Boulder Highway, but it's been years and years, and it is definitely not the tourist attraction that the sign on Las Vegas Boulevard is.
- 32:04Sean McAllister: Right.
- 32:04Sean McAllister: However, if you want that picture with the sign and you don't want to wait in line, you don't want to deal with crowds, you don't want to deal with the traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard, they can get a little dicey.
- 32:18Sean McAllister: Um, head over to Boulder Highway.
- 32:21Sean McAllister: I'm like get that picture and photoshop the strip into the background.
- 32:25Dayna Roselli: Well, I mean, because can you see the strip in the back of the like when you get a picture at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign?
- 32:31Sean McAllister: You can't really well you can see like Mandalay Bay mostly.
- 32:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah, okay.
- 32:35Sean McAllister: In the distance, you can see it.
- 32:36Sean McAllister: Mostly, though, it is you and the sign.
- 32:40Sean McAllister: Right.
- 32:40Dayna Roselli: Well, you're right next to the Samstown and East Side Cannery here.
- 32:43Sean McAllister: So there's some be some other things.
- 32:45Sean McAllister: So you have some other big casinos.
- 32:47Dayna Roselli: But I'm looking at a picture of the sign.
- 32:48Dayna Roselli: There's some nice greenery around it.
- 32:50Dayna Roselli: The sign looks exactly like the one that's on Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 32:53Dayna Roselli: So um, FYI, I think this is a great idea if you don't feel like waiting in line.
- 32:59Dayna Roselli: Um, the reason that they put this out there was apparently on March 6, 2007, they did like an on this day.
- 33:05Dayna Roselli: 16 years ago, Clark County installed this sign.
- 33:08Dayna Roselli: And so, yeah, Boulder Highway and Tropicana.
- 33:10Sean McAllister: It was 2007.
- 33:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 33:12Sean McAllister: Wow.
- 33:13Sean McAllister: I know, right?
- 33:14Sean McAllister: We maybe that's why I remember it.
- 33:16Sean McAllister: Possibly.
- 33:16Sean McAllister: We remember that.
- 33:17Dayna Roselli: I remember it going in.
- 33:18Sean McAllister: Geez.
- 33:19Dayna Roselli: I know you'd think that I would remember that too, but I don't know.
- 33:22Dayna Roselli: I'm getting old.
- 33:22Dayna Roselli: A lot of things passed through my mind that don't stick like they used to.
- 33:28Dayna Roselli: Well, you and I just drove under the arches, the archway to downtown Las Vegas the other day.
- 33:34Dayna Roselli: I remember I said, John, I'm never in the passenger seat when I drive through here.
- 33:37Dayna Roselli: Let me grab some video.
- 33:38Dayna Roselli: But I love what they're doing here.
- 33:39Dayna Roselli: This is another tip if you want an iconic picture.
- 33:42Sean McAllister: Yeah, what um what the city is doing, they have built kind of an observation deck uh on the right hand side of Las Vegas Boulevard, if you're going north, um, where you can snap an amazing picture of the uh arches gateway with the strat right behind it.
- 34:07Sean McAllister: And it's a I think that's a phenomenal spot because it is kind of like in the middle of the road.
- 34:13Sean McAllister: Right.
- 34:14Sean McAllister: It's not a great spot to stop and get pictures.
- 34:17Sean McAllister: So to have a designated area where people can stop and you know get things loaded up on Instagram, it's a great idea.
- 34:26Dayna Roselli: It's a great idea, A, for safety, right?
- 34:28Dayna Roselli: Because like you said, it's a little tricky over there.
- 34:31Dayna Roselli: And people want they these arches are like literally one of my favorite things.
- 34:35Sean McAllister: It's so cool.
- 34:36Sean McAllister: Whenever something is posted about them, it goes crazy.
- 34:40Sean McAllister: People are like, oh my gosh, that looks so cool.
- 34:42Sean McAllister: Where is that?
- 34:43Sean McAllister: What is that?
- 34:44Dayna Roselli: I know, I know it's so true.
- 34:46Dayna Roselli: It is cool, and that's the thing.
- 34:48Dayna Roselli: If you're not in that area, you just drive under them.
- 34:50Dayna Roselli: You can't really like kind of like pull to the side of the road.
- 34:53Dayna Roselli: So now they have this observation deck.
- 34:54Dayna Roselli: It's called the Gateway Arches Observation Deck.
- 34:57Dayna Roselli: It's pedestrian friendly, it's a viewing deck, like Sean mentioned, and that is now considered one of our popular landmarks here in Las Vegas.
- 35:06Dayna Roselli: So it's right on the way, you pass the strat right there on the left.
- 35:10Dayna Roselli: And apparently, this was in conjunction with the strat and the city, and it's a new spot that visitors and locals are gonna stop to get that good old insta picture.
- 35:20Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 35:21Sean McAllister: We're gonna have to stop down there.
- 35:22Dayna Roselli: We are.
- 35:23Dayna Roselli: I'm excited for that.
- 35:24Dayna Roselli: And then they're gonna be opening um a new golf attraction there too, Atomic Range.
- 35:29Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 35:30Sean McAllister: And we saw that.
- 35:30Sean McAllister: Over at Strett.
- 35:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we saw that that's like coming along, it's under construction in full swing.
- 35:35Dayna Roselli: The main structure.
- 35:39Sean McAllister: The main structure of the building is up.
- 35:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 35:43Dayna Roselli: So um anyway, yeah, the main structure's up.
- 35:45Dayna Roselli: And that's gonna be, I don't want to say it's gonna be like top golf, but it's you know, it's an attraction.
- 35:50Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 35:50Dayna Roselli: There's entertainment complex, golf attraction.
- 35:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 35:53Dayna Roselli: So we'll I'm excited to see what that will will turn out to be.
- 35:56Dayna Roselli: Um, you know, um we've been moving right along.
- 35:59Dayna Roselli: We haven't had too many laughs, so I'm just gonna bring this up to end the podcast.
- 36:02Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 36:03Sean McAllister: I I'm excited to hear what this is.
- 36:04Dayna Roselli: Well, because I kind of told you, but I think it's funny that um we never talked about this.
- 36:08Dayna Roselli: This is a random, who do I look like, right?
- 36:10Dayna Roselli: Who's my celebrity?
- 36:12Dayna Roselli: Doppelganger.
- 36:13Dayna Roselli: I posted this thing on my TikTok where I was talking about my hair.
- 36:16Dayna Roselli: I had my hair back, glasses on, um, and someone commented Celine Dion.
- 36:22Dayna Roselli: And I thought, that's so funny she said that because a few people in my life have stopped me and said, You kind of look like Celine Dion.
- 36:29Dayna Roselli: And if you look at me just like staring at you, you'd be like, No, you don't.
- 36:32Dayna Roselli: But there are some times when my hair's back, or in a certain scenario, if you look, I asked her, I said, Do you think I look like Celine Dion?
- 36:42Dayna Roselli: And she said, I sure do.
- 36:44Dayna Roselli: And I thought, you know what?
- 36:45Dayna Roselli: I kind of do look like Celine Dion.
- 36:49Sean McAllister: Listen, put on your beaded gown, stand out there on Las Vegas Boulevard, and make people pay five bucks to take pictures with you.
- 36:58Dayna Roselli: I mean, if I have like a long hair wig, right?
- 37:01Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 37:01Dayna Roselli: Um, but no, I don't know.
- 37:03Dayna Roselli: Like sometimes Celine puts her hair back, right?
- 37:05Dayna Roselli: Like really tight.
- 37:06Dayna Roselli: And and I happen to have my hair like that in this video.
- 37:09Dayna Roselli: And I think that's where, you know, we have similar noses.
- 37:12Dayna Roselli: We got the bigger nose, we've got the little chin, the long cheeks.
- 37:16Dayna Roselli: So there are some and the deep set eyes.
- 37:18Dayna Roselli: And so I made me laugh.
- 37:20Dayna Roselli: And I thought, listen, I'm not sad about looking like Celine Dion at all.
- 37:24Dayna Roselli: So you can say that.
- 37:25Dayna Roselli: But maybe you write us or tweet us or Instagram us, let me know.
- 37:29Dayna Roselli: Do you think I look like Celine Dion?
- 37:31Dayna Roselli: If so, I'm going for Celine next Halloween.
- 37:34Sean McAllister: And also, if you have been told that you look like a celebrity, if you are a celebrity's doppelganger, um, send us pictures on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, whatever we want to see.
- 37:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and especially if there's a Vegas connection, right?
- 37:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 37:50Dayna Roselli: Anyone ever stop you and say you look like anyone?
- 37:53Sean McAllister: Um, you know what I used to get?
- 37:54Sean McAllister: I used to get uh Stifler from American Pie.
- 37:59SPEAKER_03: Wait, oh yes.
- 38:00SPEAKER_03: Like, oh wait, I got a Sean William Scott.
- 38:03SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, okay.
- 38:04SPEAKER_03: Stifler called it.
- 38:06Sean McAllister: Which I never really I never got.
- 38:08Sean McAllister: I there's a couple times I've gotten Andy Roddick a little bit.
- 38:12SPEAKER_03: Okay, a little like Stifler.
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: Slightly.
- 38:15SPEAKER_03: He you're much better looking than Stifler.
- 38:17SPEAKER_03: He's kind of got it like a little bit of a I don't know, evil twinge.
- 38:23SPEAKER_03: Look to him.
- 38:25SPEAKER_03: Like one eye goes up higher than the other and all that.
- 38:27SPEAKER_03: Okay, so what was the other one?
- 38:29Sean McAllister: Andy Roddick.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: Andy Roddick.
- 38:31SPEAKER_03: Okay, hold on.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: Okay, Andy.
- 38:33Sean McAllister: Which I don't know.
- 38:34Sean McAllister: I don't fully see that.
- 38:36Sean McAllister: Okay, let's see.
- 38:37Sean McAllister: Either.
- 38:38Sean McAllister: But Okay.
- 38:39Dayna Roselli: I mean like maybe Andy from you know, he wears a baseball hat from a distance.
- 38:44Sean McAllister: We're both white guys with dark hair.
- 38:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, I always say you're similar to Ryan Seacrest, but uh not really.
- 38:52Dayna Roselli: Again, it's like you have the presence of these people, but I wouldn't say, but I could see all those.
- 38:57Sean McAllister: Maybe an amalgamation of all of them.
- 38:59Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 39:00Sean McAllister: You take features from one, throw them on.
- 39:02Sean McAllister: It's like a Mr.
- 39:03Sean McAllister: Potato Head.
- 39:03Sean McAllister: Right.
- 39:04Sean McAllister: I'm a Mr.
- 39:04Sean McAllister: Potato Head of these people.
- 39:06Dayna Roselli: No.
- 39:06Dayna Roselli: No, we were in uh Uber once, and I remember the Uber driver said, You look like someone.
- 39:10Dayna Roselli: Like he could tell, like you kind of just have that.
- 39:13Dayna Roselli: Sean has a very uh he has a TV presence about you.
- 39:17Dayna Roselli: Like you can kind of, when you look at you, like that guy must be on TV.
- 39:21Sean McAllister: Oh, see, I was gonna say a generic look.
- 39:23Dayna Roselli: No, I think like you're like that guy's a host of something.
- 39:26Dayna Roselli: And so I think like people bring that up, and it's like that's where the kind of like Ryan Seacrest crossover comes from.
- 39:32Dayna Roselli: So anyway, um, that's how I wanted to end the podcast.
- 39:35Dayna Roselli: Randomly, I just thought of that.
- 39:37Dayna Roselli: Um, we are gosh, we have a busy, busy end of March.
- 39:41Dayna Roselli: So we're gonna have lots to talk about over the next few weeks.
- 39:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, Vegas is bumping.
- 39:46Sean McAllister: Uh firing on all cylinders, pool season has started, uh, casino openings, restaurant openings, show openings, residencies kicking off.
- 39:56Sean McAllister: So we'll have a lot to talk about uh once again coming up in episode 160 next week.
- 40:03Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and next week, well, this week, really, we officially have one more hour of daylight.
- 40:09Dayna Roselli: So enjoy it, everyone.
- 40:11Dayna Roselli: We are gonna be in the mode.
- 40:13Dayna Roselli: It is daylight saving time, and I am thrilled to have tanning season.
- 40:20Sean McAllister: Which I love.

- 40:27Dayna Roselli: So everyone have a great St.
- 40:28Dayna Roselli: Patrick's Day and be safe.
- 40:29Sean McAllister: Yes, and March Madness will be underway, and we'll have some uh first hand stuff to talk about with that as well.
- 40:37Sean McAllister: Of course.
- 40:37Sean McAllister: Hey, remember, download the Vegas Near Me app.
- 40:41Sean McAllister: It is the go-to uh app for all things Las Vegas when you're here.
- 40:47Sean McAllister: You need it on your phone.
- 40:49Sean McAllister: It's available in the Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store.
