Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. It's no secret that Jeffrey Epstein's crimes spanned continents.
0:10
Speaker 1: And it's certainly no secret that he was active in France.
0:14
Speaker 1: And when we think of France and Jeffrey Epstein, the
0:17
Speaker 1: first person that usually comes to mind is Jean-Luc Brunel.
0:21
Speaker 1: But Epstein's connections to France went much higher up than
0:25
Speaker 1: just Jean-Luc Brunel. And one of the people that Jeffrey
0:28
Speaker 1: Epstein was very, very close to was Jack Lang. And
0:34
Speaker 1: he's the former French culture minister. And according to Jack Lang, well,
0:38
Speaker 1: he hardly knew Jeffrey Epstein, just like the rest of
0:41
Speaker 1: these people. But the truth is, that's also a lie.
0:46
Speaker 1: And when you compare what Mr. Lang has said about
0:48
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein to the emails and the evidence that we
0:51
Speaker 1: now have, it's rather obvious that he was telling us stories.
0:55
Speaker 1: And don't you know, in all those stories, he was
0:58
Speaker 1: just another bystander who was conned by the world's greatest
1:02
Speaker 1: con man. Today's article is from the New York Times
1:06
Speaker 1: and the headline, Epstein in Paris, How a Sex Offender
1:10
Speaker 1: Hustled for Access to France's Elite. This article was authored
1:14
Speaker 1: by Mark Landler. In his last days as a free man,
1:19
Speaker 1: busy in his part-time home in Paris, Jeffrey Epstein did
1:22
Speaker 1: not appear like someone who dreaded a legal reckoning. There
1:26
Speaker 1: were meetings with architects and interior decorators, a dinner with
1:30
Speaker 1: Norwegian diplomats, appointments with a Russian-French mathematician and a Kuwaiti
1:35
Speaker 1: former official. It was a Paris sojourn like countless others
1:39
Speaker 1: for Mr. Epstein, whose every other month visit since the
1:42
Speaker 1: early 2000s had been a mix of restless networking, real
1:47
Speaker 1: estate shopping, and according to testimony gathered by French prosecutors,
1:51
Speaker 1: systematic sex trafficking. Wait, I thought that never happened. You
1:57
Speaker 1: mean to tell me that we're being lied to by
1:59
Speaker 1: the DOJ? Come on. They've never dog walked us before.
2:05
Speaker 1: They've always told us the truth. They've always been up
2:07
Speaker 1: front and honest with the American people, right? Can you
2:13
Speaker 1: imagine getting up there with a straight face and trying
2:16
Speaker 1: to tell the American people that Jeffrey Epstein wasn't trafficking
2:19
Speaker 1: countless girls? And then thinking people are actually going to
2:24
Speaker 1: take you seriously? It is some of the most absurd
2:28
Speaker 1: shit I have ever seen or heard in my whole
2:30
Speaker 1: entire life. It was a playbook used by Mr. Epstein
2:35
Speaker 1: in every place he lived. From Manhattan to Palm Beach,
2:38
Speaker 1: he sought out well-connected fixers to help him befriend influential
2:42
Speaker 1: people and then cultivated those relationships in a way that
2:47
Speaker 1: stamped a veneer of respectability on a life of sordid
2:50
Speaker 1: criminal activity. And that was his playbook. As I've told
2:57
Speaker 1: you many times in the past, everything was transactional. There
3:01
Speaker 1: was nothing that Epstein was doing that was out of
3:04
Speaker 1: the kindness of his heart or to help somebody else.
3:07
Speaker 1: It was always about building more, a bigger war chest
3:10
Speaker 1: of compromise, more money, more information, whatever it might be.
3:15
Speaker 1: And the best way to do that is to ingratiate
3:17
Speaker 1: yourself to powerful people in whatever community you're in. Young women,
3:23
Speaker 1: some traffic to them, by a French model scout, Jean-Luc Brunel,
3:26
Speaker 1: according to prosecutors, were regular visitors to Mr. Epstein's grand,
3:31
Speaker 1: if garishly decorated apartment. Mr. Epstein's arrest on federal sex
3:35
Speaker 1: trafficking charges came on July 6, 2019, after he made
3:40
Speaker 1: a final flight on his private plane from Paris to
3:43
Speaker 1: Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, where they quietly arrested him,
3:48
Speaker 1: by the way. No perp walk, no pomp and circumstance,
3:51
Speaker 1: no news cameras, nothing. Just quietly arresting Jeffrey Epstein. The
3:56
Speaker 1: 3 million plus pages of Epstein-related documents released in January
4:01
Speaker 1: by the Justice Department provide, for the first time, an
4:04
Speaker 1: insider's view of Mr. Epstein in Paris, a socially ambitious expatriate,
4:09
Speaker 1: eager to mingle in French high society, if not always successfully.
4:15
Speaker 1: His apartment on Avenue Folk, a tree-lined boulevard that is
4:19
Speaker 1: the Park Avenue of Paris, was at once an opulent
4:23
Speaker 1: salon and an oversized... I have no idea how to
4:26
Speaker 1: say this word. Pied-a-terre, some kind of French word. They
4:30
Speaker 1: think they're smart. I'm guessing it means garish, which is
4:35
Speaker 1: right in line with what we know about Epstein and
4:37
Speaker 1: the decorating. You look at those pictures and you say
4:39
Speaker 1: to yourself, holy fuck, this dude was stuck in like
4:42
Speaker 1: 1970 or something. Imagine having the kind of dough that
4:47
Speaker 1: Epstein had and having your apartments and your house decorated
4:51
Speaker 1: the way they were. Talk about straight up weirdo behavior.
4:56
Speaker 1: Paris is great, Mr. Epstein said in a characteristically typo-flecked
5:01
Speaker 1: 2011 email to Terry Rod Larson, a Norwegian diplomat with
5:04
Speaker 1: whom he had a long friendship. Wasn't there someone here
5:08
Speaker 1: you thought I should meet? Mr. Rod Larson replied with
5:12
Speaker 1: the name Olivier Cologne, whom he described as a close
5:17
Speaker 1: advisor to Sarko, a common nickname for Nicolas Sarkozy, the
5:21
Speaker 1: then president of France. Shall I set up a meeting? Mr.
5:25
Speaker 1: Rod Larson asked. And Sarkozy, if you remember, ended up
5:29
Speaker 1: in prison. Exactly the kind of guy that Jeffrey Epstein
5:33
Speaker 1: would love to be friends with. And as far as Mr.
5:37
Speaker 1: Larson goes, another liar. This guy told us we didn't
5:43
Speaker 1: really know each other. We were hardly even close. All
5:46
Speaker 1: of our business was strictly to do with X, Y,
5:50
Speaker 1: and Z. Well, lo and behold, I know this is
5:54
Speaker 1: going to come as a shock to you, But Mr. Larson,
5:57
Speaker 1: he lied too. So if they're lying about basic relationships
6:02
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein, what else are they lying about? Mr.
6:08
Speaker 1: Cologne was to become one of Mr. Epstein's closest contacts.
6:12
Speaker 1: A well-connected diplomat, he later worked as a banker for
6:15
Speaker 1: Ariane de Rothschild, the chief executive of Edmund de Rothschild Group,
6:20
Speaker 1: who was also a friend of Mr. Epstein's. Boy, that circle, huh?
6:25
Speaker 1: And then the Rothschild bank in there. You're really throwing
6:28
Speaker 1: some red meat to people who have been following conspiracy
6:31
Speaker 1: theories for a long time. Anytime the name Rothschild gets
6:34
Speaker 1: brought up, forget it. And then you add to that
6:38
Speaker 1: the fact that they were in bed with Epstein? Yikes.
6:42
Speaker 1: Kind of led some credence to the whole entire Rothschild myth, no?
6:49
Speaker 1: The two men... traded dozens of emails captured in the
6:52
Speaker 1: Justice Department files on subjects ranging from international finance to women.
6:57
Speaker 1: But access to Mr. Sarkozy was never far from Mr.
7:01
Speaker 1: Epstein's mind. All these other people, like Mr. Larson, Mr. Lange,
7:07
Speaker 1: they're all stepping stones, right? For Epstein to advance in
7:11
Speaker 1: society and become closer to more powerful people. Everybody becomes
7:16
Speaker 1: a useful tool. There's a tool for every job, and
7:19
Speaker 1: a job for every tool. And Epstein was very good
7:23
Speaker 1: at exploiting that. In June 2013, after the president had
7:29
Speaker 1: left office, Mr. Epstein suggested seeking a meeting during his
7:32
Speaker 1: next visit to Paris. He also inquired if Mr. Colon
7:36
Speaker 1: had made progress in recruiting a female assistant to work
7:39
Speaker 1: for him. Always a female involved too, right? Always some
7:43
Speaker 1: kind of creepy ass commentary about this woman or that
7:47
Speaker 1: woman or that girl or this girl. And when you
7:49
Speaker 1: look at that in the context of who's having these conversations,
7:53
Speaker 1: it's pretty disturbing. Because what happened to all these girls?
7:56
Speaker 1: Where are they? And just how many are there that
7:59
Speaker 1: we don't know about? In June 2013, after the president
8:08
Speaker 1: had left office, Mr. Epstein suggested seeking a meeting during
8:11
Speaker 1: his next visit to Paris. He also inquired if Mr.
8:15
Speaker 1: Colon had made progress in recruiting a female assistant to
8:18
Speaker 1: work for him. Sarkozy leaves Paris on July 9th, unfortunately
8:22
Speaker 1: to go on vacation on the Riviera, Mr. Colombe replied.
8:26
Speaker 1: About your assistant, I'm asking around, he said, but you
8:29
Speaker 1: need to hire a not-too-good-looking one. Yeah, because whoever he's
8:34
Speaker 1: hiring him for probably is a pervert and will probably
8:38
Speaker 1: try to molest them. And I hate to even say that,
8:41
Speaker 1: but look who we're dealing with. Birds of a feather
8:44
Speaker 1: and all, right? Fellow travellers. I don't hang out with
8:47
Speaker 1: people that I don't have much in common with. And
8:50
Speaker 1: I'm guessing the same goes for Mr. Colon and the
8:53
Speaker 1: rest of these scumbags. With no date, with Mr. Sarkozy
8:58
Speaker 1: on the calendar, Mr. Epstein raised the idea of a
9:01
Speaker 1: meeting again a few months later. Is Sarkozy around? He
9:05
Speaker 1: emailed Mr. Colon. I'd like to meet him if you
9:07
Speaker 1: think fun. Mr. Colon promised to ask Mr. Sarkozy about
9:11
Speaker 1: it the following month. He can be fun, he wrote.
9:14
Speaker 1: And he can speak English now. Well, isn't that great?
9:18
Speaker 1: You guys can talk about your devious, disgusting bullshit in
9:22
Speaker 1: a common tongue. A representative for Mr. Sarkozy said he
9:28
Speaker 1: didn't know Mr. Epstein personally and had never invited him anywhere. Mr.
9:32
Speaker 1: Cologne cannot be reached for comment. He has expressed regret
9:36
Speaker 1: in the French media for his relationship with Mr. Epstein.
9:40
Speaker 1: And again, he's not sorry about the relationship. He's sorry
9:44
Speaker 1: that we all know about it. That's what he's sorry about.
9:49
Speaker 1: With Mr. Epstein, access was a two-way street. His French
9:52
Speaker 1: friends were not shy about asking for favors. In 2013, Mr.
9:55
Speaker 1: Cologne emailed to ask, could you organize a discreet meeting
10:00
Speaker 1: between Sarko and Hillary Clinton in New York? Wait a minute,
10:04
Speaker 1: I thought Epstein had no access to the Clintons. I
10:08
Speaker 1: thought it was just a one-way street. You mean to
10:12
Speaker 1: tell me that the Clintons perjured themselves when they spoke
10:14
Speaker 1: to Congress, just like every single other person that has
10:17
Speaker 1: spoken to Congress about this? Because I'm telling you right now,
10:23
Speaker 1: every single one of those people that got up there
10:25
Speaker 1: were a lot closer to Jeffrey Epstein and knew a
10:27
Speaker 1: lot more than they let on. Meetings with Hillary are
10:32
Speaker 1: not easily discreet, Mr. Epstein replied. When? Ms. Clinton, testifying
10:38
Speaker 1: before the House Committee investigating the Epstein case in February,
10:41
Speaker 1: said she was not aware of any approach from him.
10:44
Speaker 1: I find it kind of weird because I know Sarkozy,
10:47
Speaker 1: she added. If somebody was seeking a meeting with me
10:50
Speaker 1: and Sarkozy, he would not have needed to go through
10:52
Speaker 1: anybody else. Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure it would have
10:55
Speaker 1: just been nice and easy, quick transition. Right, Hillary? With
11:00
Speaker 1: his money and acquisitive eye, Mr. Epstein seemed intent on
11:05
Speaker 1: collecting a portfolio of trophy properties in France. He took
11:09
Speaker 1: a long look at Chateau de Gramontis, an 18th century
11:15
Speaker 1: estate east of Paris, before backing out because it was
11:18
Speaker 1: too noisy, according to two people with knowledge of the negotiations,
11:23
Speaker 1: who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the
11:26
Speaker 1: sensitivity of the matter. He also made a bid for
11:30
Speaker 1: Hotel Lambert, a mansion in Paris, which he talked of
11:33
Speaker 1: converting into a mathematics institute. After the owner sniffed at
11:37
Speaker 1: his offer of 55 million euros, Mr. Epstein asked for
11:41
Speaker 1: a signed contract at 60 million euros. these two people said,
11:46
Speaker 1: saying he did not want to bid against himself. It
11:49
Speaker 1: was later sold to an Arab prince. But Mr. Epstein
11:52
Speaker 1: seemed to be at home, in the apartment at 22
11:55
Speaker 1: Avenue Folk, holding onto it from 2001 until his death
12:00
Speaker 1: in August of 2019, which has been ruled a suicide. Well,
12:03
Speaker 1: I don't know if that's what the documentation says. They
12:06
Speaker 1: might have ruled it that, but are you confident that
12:08
Speaker 1: that was a suicide? After everything we've been through, and folks,
12:12
Speaker 1: we still have the deposition from the warden, from Darden,
12:15
Speaker 1: from the camera technician, and I'm telling you, all of
12:19
Speaker 1: it's disturbing. So they can say that Epstein died from
12:23
Speaker 1: suicide all they want, but I don't buy it. Mr.
12:27
Speaker 1: Brunel was also found hanged in his prison cell in
12:30
Speaker 1: 2022 while facing rape charges. A Bulgarian businessman, Georgi Tuchev,
12:36
Speaker 1: bought the apartment from Mr. Epstein's estate in 2022 for
12:41
Speaker 1: about 10 million euros, according to Bloomberg News. And of course,
12:45
Speaker 1: they had to sell everything off for the compensation fund.
12:48
Speaker 1: They had to have the liquidity to be able to
12:51
Speaker 1: pay out the settlements. Sprawling over nearly 7,400 square feet
12:56
Speaker 1: on the second floor of an early 19th century building,
13:00
Speaker 1: the apartment featured a study with padded orange walls and
13:03
Speaker 1: a cavernous gym with images of women's body parts, according
13:07
Speaker 1: to police records. Like his other house's It had a
13:11
Speaker 1: massage room. So remember, when we say massage with Epstein,
13:15
Speaker 1: we mean sex, rape, the whole thing. Because that's what
13:19
Speaker 1: the massages were. That was the icebreaker, right? Oh, well,
13:25
Speaker 1: I'll have him over here for a massage, but... And
13:28
Speaker 1: that was Epstein's M.O. In 2015, according to documents released
13:34
Speaker 1: by the Justice Department, Mr. Epstein paid 1.2 million euros...
13:39
Speaker 1: to have the apartment redone by a Parisian decorator, Alberto Pinto.
13:44
Speaker 1: The living room alone cost more than € 665, 000. Pictures taken
13:50
Speaker 1: during a police raid and published by the French media
13:53
Speaker 1: showed tabletop photographs of Mr. Epstein with famous figures kneeling
13:57
Speaker 1: before Pope John Paul II and dining with Woody Allen. Mr. Epstein, however,
14:02
Speaker 1: struggled to fully ingratiate himself with France's political elite. His
14:07
Speaker 1: most lasting contact was with Jack Lang, who served as
14:10
Speaker 1: cultural minister during the 80s under President François Mitterrand. A
14:15
Speaker 1: charismatic figure who created popular culture events, Mr. Lang, 86 nevertheless,
14:21
Speaker 1: had long lost the political influence he wielded during the
14:24
Speaker 1: heyday of his career. Still, Mr. Epstein savored the association,
14:29
Speaker 1: dining with Mr. Lang at chic restaurants and and joining
14:33
Speaker 1: him at art exhibits and film premieres, according to emails.
14:38
Speaker 1: In May of 2018, Mr. Lang's daughter, Caroline, a film producer,
14:42
Speaker 1: emailed Epstein to propose that he join her father at
14:46
Speaker 1: a reception at Luxury Hotel. There will be a lot
14:49
Speaker 1: of other intellectuals, she promised. Well, Jeffrey Epstein was the
14:53
Speaker 1: intellectual's favorite person, huh? Every time you turn around, it's
14:57
Speaker 1: the smartest men in the room hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein.
15:01
Speaker 1: And then those men will tell you, I had no
15:04
Speaker 1: idea who he was. I'm too stupid to know that. Okay,
15:10
Speaker 1: he replied with customary brevity. Mr. Epstein liked to play
15:15
Speaker 1: the role of deep-pocketed friend. In March of 2014, he
15:19
Speaker 1: emailed Mr. Lang to say he would pick up all
15:21
Speaker 1: expenses for a trip to New York or the Caribbean. Mr. Lang,
15:25
Speaker 1: his wife Monique, thanked Mr. Epstein for the nice gesture.
15:29
Speaker 1: and agreed to accompany him on a subsequent trip to Marrakesh, Morocco.
15:34
Speaker 1: Now remember, Jeffrey Epstein was kind of a big deal
15:37
Speaker 1: in Morocco. Went to the royal wedding, etc., etc. The
15:45
Speaker 1: largesse extended to Mr. Lang's daughter, Mr. Epstein jointly owned
15:49
Speaker 1: an offshore fund with Caroline that said that she and Mr.
15:54
Speaker 1: Epstein started to support up-and-coming artists, according to a French
15:58
Speaker 1: investigative website, Media part. Mr. Epstein also left Caroline $ 5
16:02
Speaker 1: million in his will, according to media part. Well, $ 5 million, huh?
16:08
Speaker 1: Seems like a large amount of money to leave somebody
16:10
Speaker 1: in your will that you're not close to. So just
16:14
Speaker 1: how close were Jeffrey Epstein, Jack Lang, and Caroline Lang?
16:20
Speaker 1: French prosecutors are investigating Mr. Lang and his daughter for
16:24
Speaker 1: laundering of tax fraud proceeds. Yo, this is where they're
16:27
Speaker 1: going to get people. And it's the same theory they
16:29
Speaker 1: used with the mafia and guys like Al Capone. Oh,
16:32
Speaker 1: we can't get him for blowing up the bar, but
16:35
Speaker 1: we got his ass for tax evasion. And at the
16:38
Speaker 1: end of the day, as long as people end up
16:40
Speaker 1: behind bars for their bullshit, I'll be content with that.
16:44
Speaker 1: And I'll just go on record right here and right now.
16:47
Speaker 1: My firm suspicion is everybody that did business with Jeffrey
16:51
Speaker 1: Epstein was engaging in some sort of money laundering or
16:55
Speaker 1: tax evasion. Every last one of them. A lawyer for
16:58
Speaker 1: Jack and Caroline Lang, Laurent Merlet, said Mr. Lang never
17:02
Speaker 1: accepted free vacations from Mr. Epstein. He said they met
17:06
Speaker 1: twice a year in entirely social and mundane circumstances. Caroline Lang, Mr.
17:11
Speaker 1: Merlet said, took no money from the offshore fund and
17:14
Speaker 1: was stunned to discover that she had been left money
17:17
Speaker 1: by Mr. Epstein. Oh, I'm sure she was just shocked.
17:20
Speaker 1: They've never talked about that before. It just came as
17:22
Speaker 1: a big shock to her. Just like it came as
17:25
Speaker 1: a shock to Sergey Brin, that he was an executor
17:27
Speaker 1: of Epstein's estate, right? Fuck out of here. Five months
17:33
Speaker 1: before Mr. Epstein's death, Mr. Lange invited him to attend
17:37
Speaker 1: a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the pyramid entrance
17:40
Speaker 1: to the Louvre, designed by architect I.M.P., a project Mr.
17:44
Speaker 1: Lange had championed. Now at the pyramid with the entire government, Mr.
17:49
Speaker 1: Epstein texted one of his newer friends, Steve Bannon, a
17:53
Speaker 1: former advisor to President Trump. The ministers of the elite,
17:57
Speaker 1: he said. Mr. Epstein attached a photograph of himself in
18:01
Speaker 1: sunglasses and a stylishly draped overcoat standing alone with Mr. Lang.
18:07
Speaker 1: Power move, Mr. Bannon texted back. And in this picture,
18:12
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein looks like your quintessential 18th century bad guy. Like,
18:18
Speaker 1: maybe like Count Dracula or some shit from Bram Stoker's Dracula,
18:22
Speaker 1: something like that. Bro just looks evil. And I guess
18:25
Speaker 1: that's because, well, he was evil. And people like Jack
18:30
Speaker 1: Lang and all these other people that were cavorting with
18:33
Speaker 1: him after his first arrest, they all knew exactly what
18:36
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was. And while they all talk about how
18:40
Speaker 1: much they regret those relationships, what they really regret is
18:44
Speaker 1: that you found out. So my question is, now that
18:47
Speaker 1: you know, what are you going to do about it?
18:50
Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
18:53
Speaker 1: found in the description box. What's up everyone and welcome
18:57
Speaker 1: to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. For years, people
19:02
Speaker 1: have tried to shrink Jeffrey Epstein down to a Manhattan scandal,
19:06
Speaker 1: a Palm Beach scandal, or a rich man gone bad scandal.
19:10
Speaker 1: That was the lie from the beginning because the truth
19:13
Speaker 1: was always far bigger, far uglier, and far more international
19:17
Speaker 1: than the public was encouraged to understand. Epstein didn't build
19:21
Speaker 1: a local operation. He built a transnational trafficking network that
19:25
Speaker 1: moved through airports, embassies, private terminals, elite universities, royal circles,
19:31
Speaker 1: hedge funds, modeling agencies, luxury compounds, and billionaire dinner parties
19:36
Speaker 1: with the ease of a multinational corporation. The machinery stretched
19:40
Speaker 1: from New York to Palm Beach, from New Mexico to
19:43
Speaker 1: the U.S. Virgin Islands, from Paris to London, from Eastern
19:46
Speaker 1: Europe to South America. Girls were recruited in one country,
19:50
Speaker 1: transported through another, abused in a third, and then discarded
19:54
Speaker 1: while the most powerful people on Earth hid behind lawyers, wealth, intelligence, connections,
20:00
Speaker 1: and institutional silence. That's what made Epstein different. He wasn't
20:05
Speaker 1: operating in the shadows of society. He was operating inside
20:08
Speaker 1: its highest levels. in plain sight. And now, years after
20:13
Speaker 1: his death inside the federal jail cell, that somehow managed
20:16
Speaker 1: to malfunction at every critical moment imaginable, the story's not
20:20
Speaker 1: getting smaller, it's getting bigger. France is now seeing a
20:24
Speaker 1: growing wave of women step forward with allegations connected to
20:27
Speaker 1: Epstein's orbit, with roughly 10 new accusers reportedly emerging and
20:32
Speaker 1: describing encounters that investigators and journalists are now once again
20:36
Speaker 1: being forced to examine under an international lens. And that
20:41
Speaker 1: matters because it blows apart the fairy tale that Epstein's
20:43
Speaker 1: crimes were isolated to a handful of locations in America.
20:48
Speaker 1: The allegations coming out of France reinforce what survivors, investigators,
20:53
Speaker 1: and even court documents have said for decades. This operation
20:57
Speaker 1: moved through Europe with the same confidence and protection it
21:00
Speaker 1: enjoyed in the United States. The same social circles, the
21:04
Speaker 1: same money, the same access, the same culture of intimidation
21:08
Speaker 1: and silence, And every new accusation raises the same haunting
21:12
Speaker 1: question that nobody in power has ever adequately answered. How
21:16
Speaker 1: does a man accused of trafficking girls across continents for
21:20
Speaker 1: decades continue to gain more influence, more access, more protection,
21:24
Speaker 1: and more elite connections instead of less? Well, I'll tell
21:29
Speaker 1: you why. Because this was never about one predator. That's
21:32
Speaker 1: another comforting myth people tell themselves. Epstein was the nucleus
21:36
Speaker 1: of a much larger ecosystem. An ecosystem filled with fixtures, recruiters, facilitators, financiers, socialites, lawyers, assistants, handlers,
21:46
Speaker 1: and powerful friends who all benefited in one way or
21:49
Speaker 1: another from proximity to them. You don't move vulnerable young
21:53
Speaker 1: women across borders, through luxury properties, onto private jets, and
21:57
Speaker 1: into circles occupied by billionaires, royalty, celebrities, politicians, and academics.
22:03
Speaker 1: Without infrastructure... Human trafficking on this scale requires logistics. It
22:09
Speaker 1: requires protection. It requires institutional failures stacked on top of
22:13
Speaker 1: institutional failures until corruption becomes indistinguishable from normal business operation.
22:19
Speaker 1: And that's why every new accuser matters. Not because it
22:22
Speaker 1: adds another headline, but because every testimony is another crack
22:27
Speaker 1: in the facade that powerful people spent decades constructing around Epstein. Now,
22:32
Speaker 1: the French allegations are especially significant because Europe has long
22:36
Speaker 1: existed as one of the murkier, less examined fronts of
22:39
Speaker 1: the Epstein story. London has been scrutinized because of Prince Andrew.
22:44
Speaker 1: Paris has surfaced repeatedly in social and modeling circles tied
22:47
Speaker 1: to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Connections to scouts, agencies, wealthy intermediaries,
22:53
Speaker 1: and elite social networks have floated around for years like
22:56
Speaker 1: smoke without enough public pressure to force a real fire
22:59
Speaker 1: investigation underneath it. But now, as more women come forward,
23:03
Speaker 1: investigators are once again confronting the possibility that Epstein's enterprise
23:08
Speaker 1: was not merely international in travel patterns, but international in structure.
23:14
Speaker 1: A rich criminal who travels overseas is one thing. A
23:17
Speaker 1: coordinated trafficking apparatus that operates fluidly across borders is something
23:21
Speaker 1: else entirely. And listen, despite all the documentaries, all the hearings,
23:26
Speaker 1: all the lawsuits, all the podcasts, all the endless headlines...
23:30
Speaker 1: we're still nowhere near a full accounting of what Epstein's
23:32
Speaker 1: empire actually was, not even close. The public has fragments,
23:37
Speaker 1: flight logs here, depositions there, redacted files, sealed records, settlements,
23:42
Speaker 1: leaked emails, carefully worded denials, but the complete architecture, the
23:47
Speaker 1: full network, the financial relationships, the recruitment pipelines, the protection mechanisms,
23:53
Speaker 1: the extent of who knew what and when, that picture
23:56
Speaker 1: remains incomplete. Which is precisely why these new accusations matter
24:01
Speaker 1: so much. Because the story refuses to stay buried. It
24:05
Speaker 1: seems like every day, more voices emerge, more documents surface,
24:09
Speaker 1: more contradictions appear. More carefully maintained reputations begin to rot
24:14
Speaker 1: under scrutiny. Jeffrey Epstein's dead, but the system that allowed
24:18
Speaker 1: him to thrive for decades clearly is not. Today's article
24:23
Speaker 1: is from France24. com and the headline, Around 10 new victims
24:28
Speaker 1: come forward in France's Epstein investigation. This article was authored
24:33
Speaker 1: by France24. Around 10 new suspected victims have come forward
24:38
Speaker 1: in the French probe into the network of late US
24:40
Speaker 1: sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a Paris prosecutor, said on Sunday. Well,
24:44
Speaker 1: that's good. And I hope more come forward. Because the
24:48
Speaker 1: more people that come forward and give information, the closer
24:53
Speaker 1: we're going to get to people actually being held accountable, right?
24:56
Speaker 1: You can ignore one person, hell, maybe even two. What
25:00
Speaker 1: about 10? What about 12? What about 15? France opened
25:05
Speaker 1: a human trafficking investigation after the U.S. Justice Department in
25:08
Speaker 1: January released the latest cache of files from the investigation
25:12
Speaker 1: into the disgraced financier who died in prison in 2019
25:17
Speaker 1: while facing charges of trafficking underage girls for sex. And look,
25:22
Speaker 1: this is a probe that should have been opened from
25:24
Speaker 1: the very beginning. France played a gigantic part. And there's
25:29
Speaker 1: a lot of people who were French citizens who worked
25:32
Speaker 1: for Jeffrey Epstein. Obviously, we know about Jean-Luc Brunel, but
25:36
Speaker 1: there were others. He had a whole network. And every
25:41
Speaker 1: single person that accepted any of his largesse, anybody that
25:44
Speaker 1: accepted his money, they should be hemmed up. A French
25:49
Speaker 1: magistrate are seeking to investigate possible offenses committed in France
25:53
Speaker 1: or involving French perpetrators. who facilitated his crimes. Oh, they
25:57
Speaker 1: shouldn't have a problem finding those. Plenty of those out there.
26:02
Speaker 1: Top Paris prosecutor Laura Bacow said around 20 suspected victims
26:06
Speaker 1: had made themselves known after she urged potential victims to
26:09
Speaker 1: speak up in February. Well, look, again, there's going to
26:14
Speaker 1: be people that come forward. And of course, there's going
26:18
Speaker 1: to be people that don't. And I think when people
26:22
Speaker 1: come forward, and they have allegations against a guy like
26:25
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, we should probably listen to what they have
26:28
Speaker 1: to say. Now, that doesn't mean that everybody's going to
26:31
Speaker 1: be truthful, that there's not going to be people looking to,
26:34
Speaker 1: you know, benefit. That's always part of it. But I
26:38
Speaker 1: think we have to go in with an open mind,
26:41
Speaker 1: and we have to listen to all the allegations for
26:43
Speaker 1: what they are. Because I'm telling you, the vast majority
26:46
Speaker 1: of the people that have come forward have told the truth.
26:51
Speaker 1: Some were already known to investigators, she told RTL Broadcaster,
26:55
Speaker 1: but we also had new victims come forward, ones we
26:58
Speaker 1: didn't know at all. There were around 10 of them,
27:00
Speaker 1: she added. So that's significant, right? 10 people with a
27:04
Speaker 1: story to tell. What that story is going to be,
27:07
Speaker 1: who knows? The choice that we've made for the time
27:10
Speaker 1: being is to listen to these victims, she said. A
27:13
Speaker 1: certain number of them are abroad, so the investigators are
27:15
Speaker 1: trying to set up meetings to suit when they're able
27:18
Speaker 1: to come to Paris. Investigators were also scouring through the
27:22
Speaker 1: so-called Epstein files and would be searching them for any
27:26
Speaker 1: names mentioned by alleged victims, she said. Yeah, they're going
27:30
Speaker 1: to have to do the whole entire thing. Groundwork from
27:32
Speaker 1: the very bottom up. And I don't know much about
27:37
Speaker 1: the French system or French law enforcement, but I'm guessing
27:41
Speaker 1: that they're going to take it serious. You would think
27:45
Speaker 1: that something like Epstein would get people going. But as
27:49
Speaker 1: we've seen in America, that's not always the case. Especially
27:52
Speaker 1: when you have powerful people that have, you know, something
27:55
Speaker 1: to lose. And I'm pretty sure all these people that
27:59
Speaker 1: were around Epstein have plenty to lose. We have also
28:04
Speaker 1: got to go back out to Mr. Epstein's computer, his
28:06
Speaker 1: telephone records, his address books, she said, adding her team
28:10
Speaker 1: would be making requests for international assistance. Well, I wouldn't
28:14
Speaker 1: count on that. I mean, it is the Epstein administration
28:17
Speaker 1: after all. French investigators searched Epstein's luxury Paris apartment in
28:24
Speaker 1: September 2019, more than a month after he was found
28:28
Speaker 1: hanged in his New York jail cell, after allegations that
28:31
Speaker 1: he procured young women to abuse in France. I don't
28:34
Speaker 1: even think it's allegations at this point. We've heard from
28:37
Speaker 1: the women who got abused by him and Weinstein in France.
28:40
Speaker 1: We've heard from how many women? About Jean-Luc Brunel? About
28:45
Speaker 1: Daniel Saïd? About all of the other people that were
28:48
Speaker 1: involved in France? Oh yeah, there's a story to tell here.
28:52
Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what. You know what else France
28:53
Speaker 1: should look into? The death of Alseckel. When you go
28:57
Speaker 1: through the emails, there was a bunch of emails of
29:00
Speaker 1: Alseckel and Jeffrey Epstein arguing about money. Then Alseckel meets
29:05
Speaker 1: his demise in France, falls off a cliff. Okay, I guess.
29:13
Speaker 1: None of the people who could potentially be implicated have
29:16
Speaker 1: been questioned so far. Bacow added, however, Epstein pleaded guilty
29:20
Speaker 1: in 2008 to procuring for prostitution a girl under the
29:25
Speaker 1: age of 18 and served 13 months in prison before
29:28
Speaker 1: being released on probation. Alright, so things are heating up
29:32
Speaker 1: in France. And we'll keep an eye on it, and
29:35
Speaker 1: we'll see what comes of it, and when we have
29:37
Speaker 1: some more information, we'll get it added to the catalog.
29:40
Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
29:42
Speaker 1: found in the description box. So, this dirty MF, Jean-Luc Brunel,
29:49
Speaker 1: just got slapped with another rape charge over in France.
29:53
Speaker 1: You could add that one to the bank, my friends.
29:58
Speaker 1: This guy, this sick, disgusting pervert... Yeah, that's my opinion
30:03
Speaker 1: of him. All of those things and a lot more.
30:05
Speaker 1: Things that I probably can't even get away with saying
30:09
Speaker 1: on this podcast. Those are my feelings about somebody like this.
30:13
Speaker 1: You know, the man who is supposedly responsible for selling
30:17
Speaker 1: girls to Jeffrey Epstein... When they're 14, 15 years old.
30:21
Speaker 1: Leading to a life of abuse. Yeah, that scumbag. Well,
30:25
Speaker 1: slapped with another charge... of rape over in France, and
30:30
Speaker 1: it's not looking good for this dude. Now, French citizens
30:35
Speaker 1: can be charged in France for crimes they commit abroad. So,
30:40
Speaker 1: the French authorities could easily extract their pound of flesh
30:45
Speaker 1: from this guy for the things that he has allegedly
30:48
Speaker 1: done overseas. Never mind what he's done in France alone, right?
30:53
Speaker 1: We all know dude's probably... Prancing around like a fucking
30:58
Speaker 1: bad guy from a book. Stupid top hat and shit
31:02
Speaker 1: he was wearing in that picture. Looking for marks or nubiles.
31:08
Speaker 1: As Glenn Maxwell would say. So I'm sure that there's
31:12
Speaker 1: no lack of allegations or people coming forward and hoping
31:21
Speaker 1: that he gets charged for what they say did to him.
31:23
Speaker 1: I'm sure that there's no lack of that. But he
31:27
Speaker 1: did get hit with this new rape charge. And again,
31:32
Speaker 1: when we started talking about all of this, me anyway, 2019,
31:35
Speaker 1: if you would have told me that we'd be in
31:39
Speaker 1: a spot where Prince Andrew is up against it, Maxwell
31:44
Speaker 1: sitting in a jail cell, and Jean-Luc Brunel was sitting
31:47
Speaker 1: in a jail cell, I wouldn't have believed it, right?
31:50
Speaker 1: I've been pretty cynical this whole way through. But I'll
31:54
Speaker 1: tell you what, if Jean-Luc Brunel goes to prison for
31:57
Speaker 1: a significant amount of time, that is some justice for
32:01
Speaker 1: a lot of girls around the world. Because this man
32:05
Speaker 1: was a sick pervert and he was active on multiple continents, right?
32:10
Speaker 1: So he's definitely right up there in the stratosphere with
32:13
Speaker 1: Epstein as a sick bastard and somebody that deserves to
32:16
Speaker 1: rot in prison forever and not get the easy way out.
32:20
Speaker 1: Killing yourself or getting killed, whatever it may be. This
32:26
Speaker 1: dude deserves a long, long jail sentence in my opinion. Obviously,
32:30
Speaker 1: gotta have a trial. Gotta get those convictions. But looking
32:34
Speaker 1: at it with the evidence that's available to us and
32:38
Speaker 1: the statements made by those who were affected by this guy,
32:43
Speaker 1: sure looks like a slam dunk to me. Again, caveat
32:46
Speaker 1: to that, I am not a an expert on any
32:50
Speaker 1: kind of law American or especially French so maybe you
32:55
Speaker 1: know the guy finds a way to wiggle off the
32:57
Speaker 1: hook but I would think that the French authorities elections
33:00
Speaker 1: coming up soon over there and stuff I would think
33:03
Speaker 1: that they're looking to send a message and if this
33:07
Speaker 1: is their the way that they want to send the
33:09
Speaker 1: message by really hammering this guy and charging him with
33:13
Speaker 1: a bunch of crimes and burying him under the prison
33:17
Speaker 1: I say viva la France, folks, because he deserves it,
33:22
Speaker 1: in my opinion. And I'm sure all of the ladies
33:26
Speaker 1: and who were once girls who say he abused them,
33:30
Speaker 1: I'm sure they all feel the same way, more so, right,
33:33
Speaker 1: than any of us. We can all have, you know,
33:36
Speaker 1: anger and be fired up about what occurred. But imagine
33:39
Speaker 1: being one of the people who were actually abused by
33:42
Speaker 1: these sick fuckbags and And then some folks have the
33:46
Speaker 1: audacity to pile on. I just don't understand humans sometimes, honestly.
33:54
Speaker 1: People are just... I don't know. I really can't explain it.
33:57
Speaker 1: But one thing I can tell you is this. If
34:01
Speaker 1: anyone deserved to be indicted in this whole entire sordid
34:04
Speaker 1: affair right along with Maxwell, this dude certainly ranks at
34:08
Speaker 1: the top. This was always the leadership structure. Him... Epstein
34:14
Speaker 1: and Maxwell were the three, you know, the boss, the underboss,
34:17
Speaker 1: and the consigliere, the way I used to call it.
34:21
Speaker 1: And I still feel that way. And I feel that
34:24
Speaker 1: this is a very significant arrest. And this dude, he'll
34:27
Speaker 1: definitely spill the beans. If he has any information, have
34:30
Speaker 1: you seen this goofy Mr. Bean-looking motherfucker? There's no way
34:33
Speaker 1: he's holding up to interrogation. Zero chance. Zero chance. And
34:38
Speaker 1: I hope the French give him the business. Hell, take
34:40
Speaker 1: him to one of those black sites... The five eyes
34:43
Speaker 1: of intelligence love so much. Water boredom, whatever it takes.
34:47
Speaker 1: All right, maybe not water boredom, but you get the idea, right?
34:51
Speaker 1: You get what I'm cooking here. You smell what I'm cooking.
34:54
Speaker 1: This dude deserves to be interrogated by a seasoned interrogator.
34:58
Speaker 1: And if that is the case and that does happen,
35:02
Speaker 1: obviously he's going to rat on whoever he can for self,
35:09
Speaker 1: you know, to self-preserve, right? Self-preservation. It's the only out
35:13
Speaker 1: he has to give up other people. Or he's looking
35:17
Speaker 1: at a serious, serious, long, long jail sentence. So, let's
35:22
Speaker 1: hop into this article from the U.S. Sun. And let's
35:25
Speaker 1: read a little bit of good news for once here
35:29
Speaker 1: on the podcast. And that good news is, this scumbag
35:34
Speaker 1: is being charged with raping a teenager. Obviously, The act
35:40
Speaker 1: was horrific. But finally a little bit of justice we
35:45
Speaker 1: can talk about. At the very least, the wheels of
35:47
Speaker 1: justice are moving. And it's nice to see, for once,
35:54
Speaker 1: people like this are going to have to answer for
35:57
Speaker 1: what they did. And moving in that direction, now, considering
36:03
Speaker 1: where we have come from, it is definitely... definitely a
36:09
Speaker 1: check mark in the the box of positive things that
36:15
Speaker 1: are happening in this case right all right so let's
36:18
Speaker 1: jump into the article uh this article was authored by
36:22
Speaker 1: peter allen and aliki cratero if i pronounce that wrong
36:27
Speaker 1: i do apologize headline rape rat epstein pal jean-luc brunel
36:33
Speaker 1: who shared prince andrew's sex slave virginia roberts is charged
36:36
Speaker 1: with raping a teenager Sheesh. I mean, fellow travelers, right, folks?
36:42
Speaker 1: What do we always talk about? All of these dudes
36:44
Speaker 1: that were palling around, cavorting with Epstein, you know, breaking bread,
36:49
Speaker 1: watching TV, hanging out at the house, getting quote-unquote massages,
36:53
Speaker 1: all of that shit, all of these scumbags, every single
36:57
Speaker 1: one of them should be put under oath. Because how
37:01
Speaker 1: does anyone know, including the investigators, that these guys weren't
37:05
Speaker 1: there during the commission of a crime? The estate has
37:08
Speaker 1: already admitted that Epstein has done this. They've admitted it
37:11
Speaker 1: and they've paid out compensation because of it. So how
37:16
Speaker 1: do we know that these people aren't witnesses? These guys
37:18
Speaker 1: that said, oh, well, we were just there for dinner.
37:21
Speaker 1: How do you know? So bring them all in. Get
37:25
Speaker 1: them all under oath. One thing's for sure. Brunel has
37:31
Speaker 1: nowhere to go. He's most certainly going to be talking.
37:39
Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel, 75, is currently on remand in a Paris
37:42
Speaker 1: prison in connection with multiple alleged attacks on Virginia Roberts,
37:46
Speaker 1: now 38, and a woman who is also suing the
37:49
Speaker 1: Duke of York, 61, for sexual assault. It follows dozens
37:54
Speaker 1: of women saying Brunel abused them while running an underage
37:58
Speaker 1: sex ring for Epstein, who committed suicide, allegedly, in a
38:02
Speaker 1: New York prison in 2019. You see, I don't think
38:04
Speaker 1: that they give Brunel... The sort of responsibility for what
38:13
Speaker 1: went on here that he deserves. He deserves a big
38:15
Speaker 1: fat share of this responsibility, folks. This dude was running
38:19
Speaker 1: girls from Europe. And we're talking about war-torn countries. Look
38:23
Speaker 1: at Nadia. Again. Getting sold to Jeffrey Epstein at 14
38:28
Speaker 1: or 15? What other choice do you have besides to
38:31
Speaker 1: become all effed up? I mean, jeez. What other choice
38:34
Speaker 1: do you have? It's crazy to me to think that
38:38
Speaker 1: this dude was able to do that. And so brazenly.
38:43
Speaker 1: And all of the people around were just like. Ah yeah.
38:46
Speaker 1: 15 year old girl. She just looks young. But Jean-Luc Brunel.
38:53
Speaker 1: This guy was funneling girls to Jeffrey Epstein. From multiple countries.
38:57
Speaker 1: Different continents. All under the cover. Of being a modeling scout. Again.
39:04
Speaker 1: What a seedy scummy ass business. The modeling industry is.
39:09
Speaker 1: Now look. I'm not saying everybody in the industry is. Obviously,
39:13
Speaker 1: for those who've been listening to the podcast, you know
39:15
Speaker 1: I don't deal in absolutes. But the industry seems to
39:19
Speaker 1: be a cesspool for scumbags and for these predators to
39:24
Speaker 1: go and partake in their disgusting proclivities with the cover of...
39:29
Speaker 1: Do you want to be a model or not? So
39:35
Speaker 1: I don't know how... Any parent at this point could ever...
39:39
Speaker 1: Trust their child unsupervised... With these modeling agencies... Or these
39:43
Speaker 1: scouts or whatever they may be... And the sad part
39:46
Speaker 1: and scary part is... How many other sick people... like
39:50
Speaker 1: this Jean-Luc Brunel character, are out there right now, flying
39:54
Speaker 1: under the radar. Or, this is a disgusting thought, being
39:59
Speaker 1: protected the way Epstein was. What do you think, he
40:03
Speaker 1: was an outlier, the only one? Unfortunately, folks, that's not reality.
40:07
Speaker 1: That's not the world we're living in. We're living in
40:10
Speaker 1: a brutal world that is very, very harsh. And the
40:15
Speaker 1: realities of that world are... Very disturbing a lot of times, right?
40:25
Speaker 1: And those are the waters that have to be navigated.
40:31
Speaker 1: But the good news is, that's not all there is, right? But,
40:38
Speaker 1: There are a segment of people, a segment of the
40:41
Speaker 1: population out there who are sick people. And we have
40:43
Speaker 1: to acknowledge that and realize that. And we can't just
40:46
Speaker 1: gloss it over and act like, oh, well, Epstein's the
40:49
Speaker 1: only one because we know that's not the case. So
40:52
Speaker 1: we have to remain vigilant. And we have to make
40:54
Speaker 1: sure that the people we elect are not going to
40:57
Speaker 1: get into bed with people like this. It is just absurd.
41:04
Speaker 1: We really need a dossier of information on, insert scumbag here,
41:09
Speaker 1: that bad, that we were okay with Epstein running a
41:12
Speaker 1: trafficking ring, all in the names of national security? Folks,
41:16
Speaker 1: we have lost our way if that's the case. The
41:22
Speaker 1: fashion agent was arrested at the airport in Paris following
41:25
Speaker 1: accusations of rape, sexual assault of minors, and human trafficking.
41:30
Speaker 1: An investigating source in Paris confirmed today that Brunel was
41:33
Speaker 1: in June charged with the aggravated rape of a young
41:37
Speaker 1: foreign model. Just reading it again. I need to buy
41:43
Speaker 1: stock in chlorine so I can just take baths in
41:46
Speaker 1: it after I'm done reading these articles. The source told
41:52
Speaker 1: La Parisian that the crimes were allegedly committed in the
41:56
Speaker 1: late 1990s when she was only 17 years old. The
42:00
Speaker 1: latest complaint has not been named for legal reasons. But
42:04
Speaker 1: she is now in her 40s and believed to be
42:06
Speaker 1: living in the USA. You guys all know how I roll.
42:09
Speaker 1: I won't even speculate. When they decide they're going to
42:13
Speaker 1: release that information, then they'll release it. But I'm certainly
42:16
Speaker 1: not speculating on who it is. Whoever it is, I'm
42:19
Speaker 1: happy for them. And I'm glad that they're pursuing this scumbag.
42:26
Speaker 1: You know... These situations that we're talking about on this podcast,
42:32
Speaker 1: there's really no gray area, right? I talk about that
42:36
Speaker 1: a lot. There's no gray area here. You know, in
42:40
Speaker 1: some of these cases you see on TV and, you know,
42:43
Speaker 1: who the hell knows what the fuck's going on with people, right?
42:47
Speaker 1: I don't know. I wasn't there. I have no idea.
42:50
Speaker 1: And you see people quickly jump one side or the other. Oh, yeah,
42:53
Speaker 1: this one's guilty. This one's innocent, right? I always sit
42:56
Speaker 1: back in the cut because I have no idea, right?
42:59
Speaker 1: We don't know. We're not there. We don't have any evidence,
43:01
Speaker 1: not even circumstantial, with a lot of the stories that
43:04
Speaker 1: are going on in real time. This is not that.
43:08
Speaker 1: We have years and years of documentation. We have years
43:11
Speaker 1: and years of court paperwork. And the most damning of
43:15
Speaker 1: all of it, we have what these girls are saying,
43:18
Speaker 1: these ladies are saying happened to them. Hundreds of them. right?
43:23
Speaker 1: We're not talking about one woman who, oh, she's looking
43:27
Speaker 1: for a payday. It's obvious. We're not, where's that happening at?
43:33
Speaker 1: Because I don't see that. Now, again, I don't, there
43:36
Speaker 1: might be some people out there that are trying to,
43:38
Speaker 1: you know, benefit off of all of this. But what
43:43
Speaker 1: we have seen here, the evidence that has been Presented
43:46
Speaker 1: to us circumstantially. And from what we've heard from prosecutors. Lawyers.
43:50
Speaker 1: The ladies themselves. And the courts. I think it's pretty
43:55
Speaker 1: safe to assume. That Jeffrey Epstein. Well we know he
44:00
Speaker 1: was guilty. Pretty safe to assume though. That it looks
44:03
Speaker 1: pretty bad for Ghislaine Maxwell. And it's looking pretty bad.
44:07
Speaker 1: For her buddy over here. Jean-Luc Brunel. She told the
44:16
Speaker 1: examining magistrates that Brunel raped her at her Paris home
44:20
Speaker 1: after a night out at a nightclub where she believes
44:23
Speaker 1: that a drug was placed in her drink. I mean,
44:27
Speaker 1: it's not bad enough that they coerce these girls into
44:30
Speaker 1: it or dangle a job in front of their faces
44:33
Speaker 1: if they're, you know, doing what they want them to do.
44:36
Speaker 1: But now you got to put a date rape drug
44:38
Speaker 1: in her drink? Talk about taking it to the next
44:42
Speaker 1: level of scumbaggery. But there's no depths too low for
44:47
Speaker 1: people like Jean-Luc Brunel, folks. And he's in exactly the
44:50
Speaker 1: place he belongs. Locked in a cage like the fucking
44:53
Speaker 1: animal he is. Like the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family,
44:59
Speaker 1: Brunel has denied any wrongdoing. With his lawyer saying he
45:03
Speaker 1: was being subjected to a media lynching. Oh yeah, a
45:06
Speaker 1: media lynching, huh? Give me a break. If anything, the
45:12
Speaker 1: media is not paying enough attention to what's going on here.
45:15
Speaker 1: If the media was paying attention to the sick, depraved
45:19
Speaker 1: son of a bitch that Jean-Luc Brunel was, there might
45:24
Speaker 1: be a media lynching then, but they're too busy with
45:27
Speaker 1: whatever it is they're arguing and yelling about today. Meanwhile,
45:33
Speaker 1: this story stays on the back burner. Almost ignored by
45:38
Speaker 1: all of the legacy media, But what will happen is
45:42
Speaker 1: come trial time and closer, they'll come riding out of
45:47
Speaker 1: the shadows talking about, oh, yeah, yeah, support. Man, the
45:51
Speaker 1: legacy media is just so, it's just so broken, folks.
45:58
Speaker 1: You got a guy like Jean-Luc Brunel who was rolling
46:01
Speaker 1: with some of the most powerful people in the world,
46:05
Speaker 1: even if it's just by proxy, by being with Epstein,
46:08
Speaker 1: and he's not a subject of more conversations? Oh, okay.
46:12
Speaker 1: I guess not. In November, Ms. Roberts responded to an
46:17
Speaker 1: online English language appeal by French magistrates for alleged survivors
46:22
Speaker 1: of Brunel to come forward. She said that she was
46:25
Speaker 1: raped by Brunel in the early 2000s, around the time
46:28
Speaker 1: that she is said to have had sex with the
46:31
Speaker 1: Joe Exotic of the Windsor family when she was 17
46:34
Speaker 1: and a minor under U.S. law. The multiple rapes of
46:38
Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts, now a mother of three... were said to
46:42
Speaker 1: have mainly taken place at Epstein's home on the private
46:45
Speaker 1: island of Little St. James in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Ms.
46:49
Speaker 1: Roberts had produced sworn testimony saying that both Brunel and
46:53
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew attacked her there. So, look, we've known about
46:58
Speaker 1: these allegations that Virginia has brought against both of these
47:02
Speaker 1: dudes forever. Right? And we knew that... All you have
47:07
Speaker 1: to do is take a little bit of a dive
47:10
Speaker 1: into who Jean-Luc Brunel is and listen to what people
47:13
Speaker 1: say about him and you get a pretty clear picture
47:19
Speaker 1: of the scumbag you're dealing with. And times gone by,
47:25
Speaker 1: you know, this would be something that the media would
47:28
Speaker 1: be all over. Salaciousness like this? All of these big
47:31
Speaker 1: names involved? Gotta ask yourselves, folks. What kind of skin
47:38
Speaker 1: in the game do they have? Why are they so
47:42
Speaker 1: hesitant to really go hard on this story? According to
47:49
Speaker 1: French law, a French citizen such as Brunel can be
47:52
Speaker 1: tried in France for offenses committed abroad. Brunel was intercepted
47:57
Speaker 1: by detectives at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on
48:00
Speaker 1: December 16th with a one-way ticket to Dakar, the capital
48:04
Speaker 1: of Senegal in West Africa. I'm sure he was going
48:06
Speaker 1: there to watch a World Cup qualifying match. I'm sure
48:09
Speaker 1: he was going down there to enjoy some fishing for
48:11
Speaker 1: cichlids at the local lake. I'm sure he was going
48:14
Speaker 1: down there to hide. What are you, a one-way ticket
48:19
Speaker 1: to Senegal, huh? It's almost enough to numb the brain.
48:34
Speaker 1: This guy has a one-way ticket out of the country
48:36
Speaker 1: to Senegal. What are you doing going down to Senegal there,
48:43
Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel? Probably had some sort of infrastructure set up
48:47
Speaker 1: down there for himself. There's a little tip for some
48:50
Speaker 1: of you enterprising journalists out there that are surely listening
48:54
Speaker 1: to the podcast. Head on down to Senegal, see what
48:57
Speaker 1: kind of infrastructure Mr. Brunel had set up for himself.
49:01
Speaker 1: Did he have a hideaway set up? Did he have
49:03
Speaker 1: some offshore cash stash down there? We know he was
49:06
Speaker 1: hanging out with Epstein, and we know Epstein was the
49:08
Speaker 1: king of the offshore cash. You know, who knows? Again,
49:14
Speaker 1: imagine if we had the proper resources. If I had
49:17
Speaker 1: an unlimited budget, I'd go all over the world chasing cash.
49:20
Speaker 1: this story down. And I'm not even a journalist. I'm
49:21
Speaker 1: just some guy hanging out who's pissed off that the
49:24
Speaker 1: country's falling apart and all of the institutions can't be trusted.
49:32
Speaker 1: Others said to have been involved in the sex ring
49:35
Speaker 1: include Epstein's ex-girlfriend, co-conspirator, the British socialite, general all around scuzzbag,
49:40
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, 59, who is currently on remand in the U.S.
49:45
Speaker 1: after being charged with the trafficking of underage girls and
49:48
Speaker 1: the enticement of minors. Prince Andrew was, like his friend Maxwell,
49:53
Speaker 1: a regular visitor to Epstein's mansion flat in Paris. Where
49:58
Speaker 1: many of the worst crimes against girls are said to
50:01
Speaker 1: have taken place. Yeah, let's remember good old fat Harvey Weinstein.
50:07
Speaker 1: Was a friend of the Paris Apartments as well, wasn't he?
50:10
Speaker 1: Didn't egg dick throw him out one time over an argument?
50:14
Speaker 1: Isn't that how the story goes? Talk about having a
50:20
Speaker 1: competition for the biggest slime ball in the world. I
50:23
Speaker 1: don't know how they fit so much scum ball. spaggery
50:26
Speaker 1: in one room with these two people two of the
50:30
Speaker 1: most reprehensible people on the whole planet sharing the same
50:34
Speaker 1: airspace I'm surprised it didn't pollute the air and kill
50:37
Speaker 1: everybody else that was around them denied accusations a French
50:44
Speaker 1: judicial inquiry into Brunel's conduct and the sex ring was
50:48
Speaker 1: opened in August 2019 when prosecutors first heard allegations that
50:53
Speaker 1: Brunel and the Queen's second son shared a lover. Roberts
50:58
Speaker 1: said she was forced to sleep with the Duke after
51:00
Speaker 1: being trafficked to him at least three times when she
51:03
Speaker 1: was 17. Again, where's the man act? Why isn't Maxwell
51:08
Speaker 1: slapped with a man act here? I know we're not
51:10
Speaker 1: talking about her, but, you know, gave me a little
51:12
Speaker 1: inroad to harp on that again. If it's slapping him,
51:17
Speaker 1: if she's slapped with human trafficking charges, she was obviously
51:20
Speaker 1: transporting people over state lines. It's a slam dunk man act.
51:23
Speaker 1: What's going on here? Prince Andrew has consistently denied the
51:30
Speaker 1: accusations leveled by Roberts, telling the BBC in 2019, I
51:35
Speaker 1: have no recollection of ever meeting this lady. None whatsoever. Oh, yeah,
51:39
Speaker 1: none whatsoever. How about that picture there, old princely old boy?
51:43
Speaker 1: The Duke of Pork? You fucking clown. Roberts has told
51:51
Speaker 1: the French she was routinely raped by Brunel between the
51:54
Speaker 1: ages of 16 and 19. And that's Brunel for you, right?
51:59
Speaker 1: We've heard about the twins he provided for Epstein. We've
52:03
Speaker 1: heard about all of the horror stories of all of
52:05
Speaker 1: the girls he's trafficked to the United States under the
52:08
Speaker 1: guise of modeling contracts that ended up in the clutches
52:12
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. We've heard all the stories. Now we're
52:18
Speaker 1: finally seeing a little bit of action from the authorities.
52:21
Speaker 1: Welcome to the party, pal. Brunel, who has worked with
52:27
Speaker 1: celebrities including Jerry Hall, Sharon Stone, and Monica Bellucci, is
52:31
Speaker 1: also suspected of using his contacts in the fashion industry
52:35
Speaker 1: to provide victims to Epstein and his friends. He is
52:39
Speaker 1: said to have flown 12-year-old sisters from a Paris housing
52:43
Speaker 1: estate to America so that they could be abused by
52:46
Speaker 1: Epstein as a birthday present. Yo, if that isn't a
52:50
Speaker 1: throw-your-phone or... A tablet or a computer or whatever it
52:54
Speaker 1: is you're listening to this podcast through the wall moment.
52:56
Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. 12 year olds, bro?
52:59
Speaker 1: And there's people out there that are like, don't call
53:01
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein a pedophile. No, that's what he is. He's
53:04
Speaker 1: all of it, okay? Fucking argue semantics in a situation
53:10
Speaker 1: like this. That's how you can tell who's about it
53:13
Speaker 1: and who's not. Anyone who thinks that Jeffrey Epstein didn't
53:18
Speaker 1: like pre-teens as well as teens is missing the whole
53:22
Speaker 1: entire script. The guy was sick, folks. He was wired wrong.
53:27
Speaker 1: Dude was corrupt. A defective unit. And Jean-Luc Brunel, in
53:33
Speaker 1: my opinion, is no better. Epstein, a convicted pedophile, committed suicide, allegedly,
53:42
Speaker 1: in his prison cell in New York on August 10, 2019,
53:46
Speaker 1: while awaiting trial for a range of other offenses, including
53:50
Speaker 1: trafficking minors, for sex, and multiple rapes. A statement released
53:56
Speaker 1: by Brunel's lawyers, Marianne Abgrall and Matthias Chichportich, On Thursday reads,
54:06
Speaker 1: our client has always firmly asserted that he has never
54:09
Speaker 1: abused any women. This accusation, which arises almost 20 years
54:14
Speaker 1: later and without the slightest proof, is a new illustration
54:18
Speaker 1: of the media judicial lynching suffered by Jean-Luc Brunel since
54:22
Speaker 1: the suicide of Jeffrey Epstein. Nobody's been talking about Jean-Luc Brunel.
54:27
Speaker 1: What are they talking about? Show me all of the
54:32
Speaker 1: exposés in the New York Times and the Washington Post
54:37
Speaker 1: and on Fox News and CNN about John Luke Brunel.
54:42
Speaker 1: Please miss me with that BS. And if you're talking
54:45
Speaker 1: about people discussing him, well, that's just how life works.
54:49
Speaker 1: Like I said, the Internet is the new public square,
54:53
Speaker 1: and we're here to have some conversations. On Monday, the
54:59
Speaker 1: High Court in London accepted a request by Ms. Roberts'
55:01
Speaker 1: legal team to formally contact Prince Andrew about the sexual
55:06
Speaker 1: assault case launched against him in the United States. So, look,
55:12
Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel is not wiggling off of this hook, I
55:16
Speaker 1: don't think, folks. Again, I'm not an expert in French law,
55:20
Speaker 1: not in any sense of the imagination, but I do
55:26
Speaker 1: think that the French authorities here are going to look
55:29
Speaker 1: to pass a message. They're going to look to, you know,
55:33
Speaker 1: like I said, election season's coming up. They see that
55:35
Speaker 1: Maxwell's in the crosshairs. Now Prince Andrew's in the crosshairs. What,
55:39
Speaker 1: you think the French are going to be outdone? Ah, oui, oui!
55:43
Speaker 1: No chance. So, I hope Jean-Luc Brunel and his lawyers
55:48
Speaker 1: have a better defense than the game of technicalities and loopholes,
55:54
Speaker 1: because they're going to need it. If you'd like to
55:57
Speaker 1: contact me, you can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com.
