- 0:01Speaker 1: Get Mark on demand by setting up pre sad for
- 0:04Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Now back to Mark Simon on WR.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Uh, let's
- 0:14Speaker 1: go to John and Florida. John, how you doing?
- 0:18Speaker 2: Morn? And Mark? Mark wa Sean go from retail for
- 0:20Speaker 2: the airlines to pick up the control of stalaries and
- 0:24Speaker 2: then reimbursed them when the government comes back.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Those airlines don't make much money to begin with. The
- 0:30Speaker 1: profit margin on airline is practically nothing. It's almost impossible
- 0:34Speaker 1: to run an airline. As a Donald Trump used to
- 0:37Speaker 1: point that out, you know.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:39Speaker 1: He used to explain that he went to business school
- 0:42Speaker 1: with all these geniuses. Some of them became billionaires, and
- 0:45Speaker 1: some of them didn't make that much money. And he
- 0:47Speaker 1: said the reason was some of them went into the
- 0:49Speaker 1: right businesses. They went into oil and made billions. Some
- 0:52Speaker 1: of them went into airlines and you can barely make
- 0:54Speaker 1: a living there. It's not easy on those airlines. I
- 0:57Speaker 1: know they they can be really awful to customers, but
- 1:02Speaker 1: goodness is they're not making much profit those airlines. Let's
- 1:05Speaker 1: go to Georgia and Long Island. George, how you doing fine?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Mare?
- 1:09Speaker 3: Just a quick statement, Mendani has some type of cult
- 1:13Speaker 3: following where you can get a million votes like he did.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I think you'll have an impact on the governor's election,
- 1:18Speaker 3: whether it be the fining no, as we just said.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah, now it's not a cult following. When you win
- 1:23Speaker 1: a majority of the votes in New York City, that's
- 1:25Speaker 1: more than a cult. That's a lot of people, but
- 1:28Speaker 1: a lot of that. These younger people who you know,
- 1:32Speaker 1: indoctrinated in all these universities, haven't seen a lot of history.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Don't know that Every so often, every twenty years, somebody
- 1:39Speaker 1: comes along with this socialist nonsense and it always fails.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And anytime the government jumps in and decides to do
- 1:47Speaker 1: stuff for the poor, it's always the rich that benefits
- 1:50Speaker 1: the most from it. In the end, you always figured
- 1:53Speaker 1: out how to benefit from it. Let's go to Nick
- 1:55Speaker 1: and basking Ridge. Nick, how you doing, Hi?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Mark, You mentioned trunk arrangement syndom, and I have a
- 2:03Speaker 2: three word explanation of exactly what that is. Go ahead,
- 2:08Speaker 2: ego hate ego, Well.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That could be. That could be also. But a lot
- 2:17Speaker 1: of psychologists have talked about this. They think it's just
- 2:20Speaker 1: that he's everything that they tried to stamp out in
- 2:25Speaker 1: life like old fashioned macho macho man and just this
- 2:31Speaker 1: like alpha male, this like old good, old fashioned American moxie.
- 2:35Speaker 1: They thought they stamped that all out. They don't want
- 2:37Speaker 1: to see that anymore. Let's go to Bill at Bradley Beach. Bill,
- 2:40Speaker 1: how you.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Doing right, Mark? Good morning. Well we've got jefferies on
- 2:46Speaker 4: saying about and across the living and everything. Yet the
- 2:50Speaker 4: Democrats couldn't care about the fifty year high inflation for
- 2:54Speaker 4: four years under the Biden dictatorship, where they actually eliminated
- 2:59Speaker 4: the dollars. When they left, everything was twenty and more
- 3:03Speaker 4: everything in the country.
- 3:05Speaker 1: What are you saying, Democrats are hypocritical? You can't believe that.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That's not the Democrats, I know, hypocrites. Why that's unheard? Yeah.
- 3:14Speaker 2: No.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The funniest thing is you watch these videos where they
- 3:17Speaker 1: all say Trump talked about getting rid of the filibuster,
- 3:21Speaker 1: and they all have these You can see these online,
- 3:23Speaker 1: all of them, Bernie Sanders, Obama, all of them saying
- 3:27Speaker 1: why that's un American, that's a threat to our democracy
- 3:30Speaker 1: to get rid of the filibuster. Then you'll see it
- 3:33Speaker 1: cut together with the video of them from four years ago,
- 3:35Speaker 1: saying we must get rid of the philibuster. It's anti American,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's anti democracy. Let's go to Carl and Sayerville, Carl,
- 3:41Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Why Mark? How are you?
- 3:44Speaker 3: You know?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Mark the incoming marriage. Do you think he's going to
- 3:47Speaker 2: like maybe scale down the Independence Day celebration and shorten
- 3:52Speaker 2: the Thanksgiving Day Prooh?
- 3:55Speaker 1: You know, I didn't a rocker. I didn't think about Oh,
- 4:00Speaker 1: that's a very good point. I didn't think about that.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Excellent point. You know this guy, you know, he can't
- 4:05Speaker 1: raise your taxes. He can't give you free busses. That's
- 4:08Speaker 1: not in his power. But I didn't think about that.
- 4:10Speaker 1: He can start getting rid of the Rockefeller Center tree.
- 4:14Speaker 1: He could eliminate the Columbus State Parade. He could. I
- 4:18Speaker 1: don't know. That's because it's tough to do. That would
- 4:20Speaker 1: be really tough for him to do. But you're right,
- 4:22Speaker 1: we got to keep an eye on that. Let's go
- 4:24Speaker 1: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Anthony from the Bronx. Mark.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Maybe Mondomio stall outdoor loud speakers around city Hall and
- 4:36Speaker 2: instead of a minaret, we'll have to call the prayer
- 4:39Speaker 2: every day the Muslim called the prayer Uh Mark, speaking
- 4:44Speaker 2: about the communists and everything about how Dr McCarthy day
- 4:49Speaker 2: to day come after you. Right after they caught and
- 4:52Speaker 2: executed to kidnappers Sacho and Vanzetti of Lucky Limburg's child
- 5:00Speaker 2: in my grandfather's building at the time, and my mother
- 5:04Speaker 2: was alive and living there. She told me on the
- 5:07Speaker 2: top floor there was an Italian communist living there with
- 5:11Speaker 2: his wife and his kid, and one day the FBI
- 5:15Speaker 2: came to arrest him, came to get him uh for
- 5:18Speaker 2: communist activity, and the punk that he was, he locked
- 5:22Speaker 2: himself in the apartment and the punk killed his wife,
- 5:27Speaker 2: killed his kid, and then killed himself because he couldn't
- 5:31Speaker 2: face the music. Mark. I wanted to ask you, Ben, and.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You're in the know, you're out there story, yeah, Mark.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't think Jessica Tish is going to take uh
- 5:44Speaker 2: Mandami to Commune's offer to be police ammission and his wife.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Rumor has it that she wants to run for mayor
- 5:54Speaker 2: the next time around, and and she would she would easily,
- 5:58Speaker 2: she'd have the money she could self fund. And I
- 6:01Speaker 2: don't think she wants to be her name in any
- 6:04Speaker 2: way in her family's name associated with Zora Mandanmi. She
- 6:09Speaker 2: doesn't need that because she'll fill out. She'll finish out
- 6:13Speaker 2: her term with Adams. She's doing a great job and
- 6:17Speaker 2: why would she want people.
- 6:19Speaker 1: No, she probably won't risk it for Vincent. Great call,
- 6:21Speaker 1: Thanks for calling. We were hearing if she leaves mom,
- 6:25Speaker 1: Donnie is looking at Rodney Harrison, Suffolk County Police Commissioner.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That's the guy he's looking at, former NYPD Chief of Department.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So that's not the world's worst choice. But hey, when
- 6:37Speaker 1: we come back, Roger Friedman will be with us. Great
- 6:42Speaker 1: entertainment reporter. We'll talk to him next on seven to
- 6:45Speaker 1: ten wor
