  like four years in advance, right?

  So like you have all as a federation you have all kinds of

  time to set up Logistics so that it's Plug and Play right?

  Like you You can do everything except pick the team in advance,

  but you can literally do everything else.

  You can block off flights, you can secure seats.

  You can, you can do all the things necessary to do years in

  advance, certainly months. And some of the, the the

  shenanigans that are going down from country to country are,

  literally just like people just found out there was a world

  championship meet like three days ago.

  So I just want to start it off with that and let and let the

  rest of my colleagues bang. Bang, bang, bang.

  I mean, look, one of these, you know, I have a small connection

  to so I'm really irritated about it.

  now and it's a really sad and embarrassing to watch.

  I'm irritated. The narrative in social media

  world seems to be that, this is somehow the Americans fault, or

  the government's fault like they're there, they don't have

  want to get into that, that I'm very disappointed in is the

  to compete for Nigeria on the world stage but despite reaching

  Switching my allegiance from the US mentally physically preparing

  myself, for my first, after my first ever hamstring strain, the

  athletic Federation of Nigeria has failed the negligence and
• 6:18
  egocentric actions of the minister and Admins have once

  again, overcome the Federation which is negatively affecting
• 6:25
  athletes. Why am I being told 40 minutes
• 6:28
  before my flight to Oregon the week of competition that I'm no
• 6:32
  longer competing because of their wrongdoings and irrational
• 6:36
  fear. I have already passed, two out
• 6:39
  of three drug test, but for some reason, I'm not allowed to do my
• 6:43
  third because of quote, fear of failure.
• 6:49
  How in the hell is that the excuse by the Nigerian
• 6:54
  Federation and unlike you know ten some odd years ago where we
• 7:00
  had random Americans you know faking Nigerian status to join
• 7:05
  the team and like as nice families from Nigeria.

  This is a legitimate Transfer of Allegiance and there's no way
• 7:16
  they got four women faster than her.

  So whatever is going on with the Nigeria Federation actually
• 7:23
  Dicky. That is pure Shenanigans and

  it's really sad to watch. So feel bad for you girl.

  That sucks Fallout to say is this is one and it comes to

  Nigeria Federation, no one should be surprised at anything

  that they do. They do fossas like this all the

  time. Second of all shame on everybody

  out there, no matter what country or Federation, your,

  from the didn't do your due diligence, and prepare for this,

  a lot of complaining about cost of this cost of that.

  In this initiative today, we've known for two years of It was

  going to be here, you should have prepared better.

  So you know, shame on you for killing the dreams of all the

  athletes who know plus your details to get to put themselves

  So you understand that I have been privy to said Shenanigans

  from a small Federation representing came and you know

  and and everything that was involved in that.

  And it took me a while to figure out like what was really going

  on. I mean I mean I have I have

  there there aspects of my career that I've been robbed of that.

  I will never get back and because of decisions, not

  because of anything that I did not know.

  My legacy, my, my ability to establish myself as one of the

  best, you know, getting it you're relying on a federation
• 9:33
  to have their checks and balances right to have their
• 9:39
  finances in order to be organized to plan.

  I know exactly what an athlete needs from preparation
• 9:50
  standpoint travel. All of that.

  And we're in 2022. And the things that I dealt with

  these athletes are still dealing with and the big part of the
• 10:05
  reason is, is that you dealing with the same people, the same
• 10:10
  people are either in charge, or they're in charge of the people
• 10:15
  that are in charge and that is how it is with small Nations.

  That's how it is with developing nations as how it's always going
• 10:22
  to be and none of this. I mean, how many I mean we've
• 10:29
  seen these stories pop up the week of the Olympics or the week
• 10:36
  before or we you know we could World Championships.
• 10:41
  I'm at the airport and my Visa was revoked like huh.
• 10:49
  I mean I've been dealing with with it on even on my end with
• 10:56
  athletes that are being told you know yes we're going to take you
• 11:00
  to said championships but we're going to go two weeks in
• 11:03
  advance. Vance, two weeks.

  What are you doing for two weeks?

  Okay. So, all that being said, I mean,

  it's none of it surprises me and I think, you know, I think that
• 11:23
  there probably needs to be a special section as we done for
• 11:30
  these things that pop up, you know, that the last few days
• 11:35
  prior to the Championships, I think it's just going to
• 11:40
  continue. I want to I want to pay you back
• 11:46
  and go straight from there and run.
• 11:48
  Another leg on this stomp on these on the idiocy relay.

  To the fans of track and Field's who watch our show, who who only
• 12:03
  see the gross motor side of what happens, right?

  Like you just walks in the center of the screen, you don't
• 12:10
  really know about any of the politics.

  And the shenanigans that go on behind the scenes, I guess, I'm
• 12:16
  unfortunately gonna remove the remove the curtain and show you
• 12:19
  the wizard. For every smaller nation, which
• 12:24
  includes just about every single Caribbean nation, which Governor
• 12:30
  alluded to, if you watched during the Olympics.
• 12:35
  Because most times the per session in the world
• 12:37
  championships isn't isn't shown if you watch during the
• 12:40
  Olympics, the number of Officials and administrators
• 12:47
  that come from smaller countries, outnumber the number
• 12:52
  of athletes to 34 and sometimes five to one.
• 12:56
  So if you watch the procession, when they come in during the
• 12:59
  Olympics just look at the people who are walking across your
• 13:02
  screen and look at how many of them are not athletes.
• 13:05
  And why is that relevant? Because here's what I'm going to
• 13:08
  tell you. Nigeria is so far.
• 13:12
  They've got what three people or four people that have made their
• 13:14
  team who are not going to be able to compete because of
• 13:17
  different levels of shenanigans. But here's what I do, know,
• 13:20
  every single Nigerian administrator is going to be
• 13:24
  there in the VIP. VIP section sitting three seats
• 13:28
  from Clyde, drinking, and eating all World Championship budget
• 13:32
  money, right? And every single one, I'm has
• 13:35
  their room accommodations in the five-star hotel that that is in
• 13:41
  Eugene and every single one of them has their credentials
• 13:44
  straightened out and they won't have any.
• 13:46
  And I mean, any issues with their world championships and
• 13:52
  that unfortunately is really the issue as the governor said, like
• 13:58
  this has been going on for a very long time.

  Like, let's be clear. The governor and I are in our
• 14:03
  50s and we Repeated in the late 80s heavily at the
• 14:09
  international, all through the 90s and this is absolutely
• 14:13
  positively true period across the board, you know, big league.
• 14:19
  And I, we coach someone from a small Caribbean country, and
• 14:25
  let's just say there have been some Hand wringing in
• 14:33
  consternation about flights to Eugene, accommodations, why do
• 14:41
  you need two coaches? Wait, we're only going to bring
• 14:44
  one physio. Even though we have three, guys
• 14:47
  and three different events that are in the top 10 in the world,
• 14:50
  we're going to bring one Physio and because this guy is the
• 14:53
  highest rank, we're going to bring his physio not anybody
• 14:55
  else's and so on. Wait you need another credential
• 15:01
  that's going to $300, but why? And so, on the point to all of
• 15:07
  this is this there won't be anybody from this Federation or
• 15:11
  any other small country Federation, that has any
• 15:13
  logistical issues on their trips to walk two World Championships.
• 15:19
  And, you know, the tail has been wagging the dog in our support
• 15:23
  for a very long time. And trust me when I tell you if
• 15:26
  and Clyde will see this firsthand and honestly, I'm
• 15:29
  we're going to, we're going to expect a report and a notebook
• 15:33
  back after World Championship. As to the validity of what I'm
• 15:36
  saying. I know it's going to happen, but
• 15:40
  let me know if there are any, if there are any issues in the
• 15:43
  world championships, VIP seating section, let's see if they ever
• 15:47
  run out of shrimp, let me know if anybody, anybody needs
• 15:51
  champagne in it and oh, we've run out of that because I
• 15:53
  promise you, it's not going to happen.
• 15:56
  I promise you it's not going to happen and at the end of the day
• 15:59
  like that's always been the problem in our sport, right?

  The behind-the-scenes folks who are administrators who don't
• 16:06
  really do very much. They are always taken care of at
• 16:11
  Olympics and World Championships before during and after athletes
• 16:16
  always has been and unfortunately always will be
• 16:21
  You're very well sad but I and I totally agree but I got one more
• 16:27
  lap for you arm. The shenanigans and this goes to
• 16:35
  our American families. I'm very much over the idea that
• 16:47
  we need to continue to Pander to our casual fans who let's be
• 16:54
  real. Just don't care about anything

  that's going on. Now it is a fact that these

  World Championships are the First on American soil.

  It is also a fact that they have been lamely if not at all
• 17:09
  promoted. In the country usatf World

  Athletics, whoever's responsible for advertising this in this

  country, you dropped the ball but I'm tired of all the

  complaining from the fanbase about the accessibility of
• 17:32
  Eugene. I don't want to hear about the
• 17:35
  flights. I don't want to hear about the
• 17:37
  travel. I don't want to hear about the
• 17:39
  hotels. I don't want to hear about the
• 17:41
  cost and you know why? I don't because I don't never
• 17:44
  hear anybody bitching about the Super Bowl.

  This is our Super Bowl. And you know what Super Bowl
• 17:51
  ain't for everybody. So if you broke say you broke,

  watch it on TV, it is what it is.

  The World Championships is not for everybody to experience.

  I wish everybody could go. I wish that everybody had the

  means to go but this is not a place where you get to find five

  dollar tickets like stop whining.

  It is what it is. It's literally our Super Bowl

  and it's bigger than the Super Bowl it's the World

  Championships. Enjoy it in any way that you can

  but stop whining. Like the whining has reached the

  level that I just can't stomach it anymore.

  Figure it out. If you're a fan, if you're

  passionate about the sport, you should be there.

  If you don't have the means to be there, you should watch it on

  TV. You should tweet about it, you

  should put it on social media. You should help tell the

  stories. But you got to stop whining,

  cause you can't go. It ain't for everybody.

  you're reading it unless you took the time to read it prior,

  down there until someone kicked you out.

  And so when, when this was brought to light, I'm like no we

  had the whole first row. And I'm like, wow, this is

  crazy. So thank you.

  So to without reading out of the book, Let's just for the

  audience World. Athletics has decided that the

  front row on the horizontal jumps area of the of the
• 21:05
  stadium. They are reserving two seats,

  242 coaches. And the idea is that the coaches

  will be able to stand on. On the stairway and be escorted
• 21:21
  and shuffled in and out when they're jumper, is going to be
• 21:25
  jumping. I'm not going or thrower or
• 21:29
  thrower or whatever. I'm not going to the World
• 21:32
  Championships to coach. I'm going strictly as a
• 21:34
  spectator. So I'ma let y'all run with this
• 21:36
  but I'm just going to tell you this.
• 21:38
  We've all been to Oregon whole bunch of times.
• 21:41
  Y'all better have more than those 80 year old white ladies
• 21:44
  with the yellow coats. Trying to correct that mess
• 21:48
  because that is never going to happen.

  You are begging for a disaster with that kind of setup.

  No one is gonna abide by that. Y'all got it.

  And the challenges that came with that, you know, and Usher's

  and all these things, right? And having been at my first

  NCAA, is in the new stadium being down at the bottom.

  Let's just start there. That is not a good vantage

  point. If you're trying to get the

  complete Panorama this is just I'm going to speak to the

  horizontal. It is not a good place to be to
• 22:45
  try and gauge everything that's going on because there's so much
• 22:50
  going on in front of you, right. God forbid, their race is
• 22:54
  happening at the same time, so it you almost kind of have a
• 22:59
  feel of Texas A&M. Well, the old Texas A&M, you
• 23:04
  know, and yes, the the runways are right on the inside of the
• 23:09
  track but still The best vantage point is actually further up.

  If you can get further up, then you're going to be able to see
• 23:20
  everything and you're going to be able to coach better, right?

  So, I can, you know, if I'm putting myself in the mindset in
• 23:31
  the minds of these jumps coaches, I think they're going
• 23:34
  to recognize really, really quickly.

  That that is not an advantage. It's not an advantage.

  Those two spots, know what they would want, they will end up
• 23:45
  doing and I think this is going to happen is that they're going
• 23:49
  to perch themselves up on the mezzanine, right?

  And then they're going to walk down and they're going to talk

  distance, any way you slice it, right?

  So that's not ideal, okay? So you make do you, you know,

  and how many times do we watch these championships and the

  camera is panning this, the stadium to find the coach,

  right? Somebody jumps a big jump or

  somebody throws a big throw and they pan in the coach is

  somewhere up in the stands. Coach is not down at the bottom.

  So I don't know what the big deal is about this whole deal.

  I think that, you know? Yeah I think it's a moot point

  for those that are really trying to to hone in and what their

  athletes are doing. They're going to find an empty

  seat somewhere. Are they going to Bogart

  somewhere, and they're going to figure out there's a lot and

  they're gonna flip Where do they need to hang out?

  And they'll be there until someone steps to them and move
• 25:34
  them or whatever and then they'll find another spot that's
• 25:37
  just what coaches do. So like literally men, that was

  that was the first lesson I learned when I move from high
• 25:47
  school to Collegiate coaching was you go and you do until
• 25:50
  someone tells you to stop seeing you and I still hesitate to this
• 25:54
  day, I own the place. Until someone tells you, you
• 25:59
  don't own the oh. So I can't be here.

  I'm just blown away by the idea that someone in a suit believes,

  there's 32 jumpers, right? You're going escort, 32 coaches

  one at a time in. Rotating in these seats, like

  who came into seats into seeds, who came up.

  So like, do you say, is it musical chairs?

  Are you sitting, like, you have a on deck seat and then right up

  seat, right? So over when your, when your

  athlete gets up, right? We go line up chew your own and

  So, yours might look like in my thinking of it.

  So you've got these two seats, you've got the the aisle, and

  then whatever room is available. Oil.

  So let's say I'm conversing with said athlete, in the

  conversation is taking longer. And then now you've got these

  two seats in this movement. So now your conversation takes

  even longer versus having this area, right?

  Like, I'm thinking of the pictures that I saw just from

  people taking pictures. I'm thinking of my own

  experiences when we've been in a championship environment and,

  you know, like it's isolate. I'm like, yeah.

  Whoo, first off The Spectators, who our necks and burning it.

  And there's going to be an ear, there's going to be an argument

  on that front alone but then the people imagine it.

  So I'm thinking kind of, I'm thinking, of course, we don't

  about how the stadium is lined up on that level.

  And you've got seats to the right and then seats fill ask

  and as each behind. And you think those people

  aren't going to be complaining that they can't see through

  these? These people, I'm guessing those

  two seats are going to be the two closest seats to the, to the

  watching my high jump coach, Tony wealthy because we have

  girls in two different pits in the in the multi run.

  So again I mean it's an absolutely absurd thought and

  idea but don't make a big deal out of it because still we're
