- 1:19Speaker 4: Take your best football camp right of their elite training academy.
- 1:22Speaker 2: He said the text message Ago. Yeah he did.
- 1:25Speaker 4: He was prop I mean, he he did his what
- 1:27Speaker 4: his part of telling us and asking us with plenty
- 1:30Speaker 4: of time to plan.
- 1:31Speaker 3: But if you don't remind me, that's what I'm saying. No, Matt,
- 1:37Speaker 3: Jake's got to remind us. See, I'm gonna forget as
- 1:40Speaker 3: soon as I walk out of here. See, Richard and
- 1:41Speaker 3: I are way too similar. Yeah, and like most aspects
- 1:46Speaker 3: of life. Yeah, we plan the same way. You can
- 1:49Speaker 3: ask us and we all agree to it. But it's
- 1:51Speaker 3: on you if you don't remind us. I know, like
- 1:56Speaker 3: sometimes people are like, hey, where are you free this day,
- 1:58Speaker 3: and there's like it's a month in advance, Like yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 3: let me check my calendar real quick, and I got
- 2:02Speaker 3: nothing on my calendar.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You got to reminder of the week before.
- 2:04Speaker 5: I don't even have a calendar.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, calend a couple of days before the evening before
- 2:10Speaker 2: and then we're good.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I usually work on lists, so I carry these notebooks
- 2:13Speaker 4: around and I have like a to do list, and
- 2:16Speaker 4: these are things I have to do or like, you know,
- 2:18Speaker 4: I got a call tomorrow at two or whatever. I
- 2:20Speaker 4: got a you know, a zoom call, zoom meeting or whatever.
- 2:22Speaker 4: I'll usually do just on a list. I don't really
- 2:24Speaker 4: fill out a calendar too much.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Now.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I've tried to be better because I do forget sometimes
- 2:30Speaker 4: and sometimes I forget my notebook.
- 2:33Speaker 2: But this is uh didn't write the campdown? No, I didn't.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I'm glad you said something. Yeah, so I'll see you there.
- 2:40Speaker 2: What time is it?
- 2:41Speaker 3: I don't know if we got to figure that out too.
- 2:43Speaker 3: That's no way, there's no way to know. There's no
- 2:45Speaker 3: way to know, but you can check out check has
- 2:48Speaker 3: their social media page. He posted Itelt's coming. I know
- 2:54Speaker 3: in the text message was me Stell's cot.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Yeah, everybody said they were coming, but like, yeah, I
- 3:00Speaker 3: think we also were coming. But if he hasn't reminded me,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I wouldn't know.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I think i'd. I think I'm gonna bring bring
- 3:06Speaker 4: Huck out there. I'm gonna do a little camping. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 4: we should do that. It would be a fun camp.
- 3:14Speaker 4: It's gonna be great. You know, it's gonna be a
- 3:16Speaker 4: great camp. It's gonna be really good camp over at
- 3:18Speaker 4: the League Training Academy. So y'all go check it out
- 3:21Speaker 4: if y'all are looking for something to do and I
- 3:23Speaker 4: wanna get your get your son all. You know, taught
- 3:27Speaker 4: up with some ex pros, ex college guys.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Jacob Pester.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I think they're gonna do like forty times as well
- 3:33Speaker 4: and do some really cool stuff on individual So yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 4: where everyone's getting ready for either flag football season. Maybe
- 3:39Speaker 4: it's your kids first year like mine, like Huck's first
- 3:42Speaker 4: year doing putting the pads on this year, So very
- 3:45Speaker 4: excited about the camp to mar so y'all go check
- 3:47Speaker 4: it out, all right. Well, another team about to be
- 3:52Speaker 4: into the camp, Tennessee Volunteers, led by their.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Head coach Josh Haipel.
- 4:00Speaker 4: He was I think Tennessee went Monday, so he was
- 4:03Speaker 4: one of the first ones out the gate and like,
- 4:05Speaker 4: you always want something, you want you want something for
- 4:08Speaker 4: me to day. And he made some comments about LSU.
- 4:11Speaker 4: When everyone was like, oh, you believe said that, I
- 4:13Speaker 4: was like, I was like, oh, this is good man,
- 4:15Speaker 4: this is these are you want something right? You want
- 4:19Speaker 4: some sort of fireworks out of media, because, like I said,
- 4:22Speaker 4: it's a boring thing. Like it's listening to people todd
- 4:25Speaker 4: most of the players don't give you anything. It's good
- 4:27Speaker 4: to talk to them and ask them questions, but they're
- 4:29Speaker 4: not gonna give you like they're trained not to.
- 4:31Speaker 2: They spend hours about what they were going to be
- 4:33Speaker 2: able to say. Yeah, Richard, how boring were you in college? Terrible?
- 4:36Speaker 2: I was awful.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Like it was like, yeah, you hope you play really good.
- 4:39Speaker 3: We've been working really hard, one game at a time.
- 4:41Speaker 2: I mean, it's just all the cookie cutter what you
- 4:43Speaker 2: were taught to say.
- 4:44Speaker 3: It's taught to say, well, uh, Hey, coach Josh Heipel,
- 4:47Speaker 3: who usually is I feel.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Like pretty reserved, came out swinging a little bit on Lane.
- 4:52Speaker 2: We got that clip.
- 4:58Speaker 5: M from just audio from here.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin made his return to Knoxville. In your first
- 5:07Speaker 1: year as a head.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Coach, things got a bit spicy.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Do you think that.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Fan base has kind of cooled off?
- 5:12Speaker 1: And what do you expect November when LSU comes to town.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Certainly hope our fan base hasn't cooled off. So you know,
- 5:20Speaker 6: whether it's the grocery stores being fully stocked with mustard
- 5:25Speaker 6: or you know, our sports stores making sure that they
- 5:27Speaker 6: got reinforcements on the golf balls. Hopefully Knoxville is ready
- 5:32Speaker 6: for his arrival.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Grasseball one's pretty risky, man.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Golf ball is aggressive.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Can we agree straight to prison? Yeah? I mean that's
- 5:42Speaker 2: inciting violence. He used to gets hitting the head of one.
- 5:44Speaker 3: He's trying to hurt our young men and women, and
- 5:48Speaker 3: he told him to go do it. Just told one
- 5:49Speaker 3: hundred thousand people to come with golf.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Ball to know.
- 5:52Speaker 3: He told one hundred thousand people to go purchase weapons.
- 5:56Speaker 5: He really did.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Try to put our team, our support, its staff, trainers, strength, coaches,
- 6:03Speaker 4: assistant coaches put put them in in the hospital pretty much.
- 6:07Speaker 2: He definitely got a phone call after that little much. Obviously.
- 6:12Speaker 4: This is a throwback to in Lane when they go
- 6:15Speaker 4: up there and controversially the big controversial situation up there
- 6:19Speaker 4: Ole miss and at Tennessee and their fan base did
- 6:23Speaker 4: throw a lot of things at them.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Uh, they threw and he's trying to, you know, incite that.
- 6:29Speaker 2: He just wants that energy.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I get it, like you're trying to like kind of
- 6:32Speaker 4: be tough talk out there, but like you probably shouldn't say,
- 6:36Speaker 4: like go buy golf balls and.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Throw it at them tennis balls maybe.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Maybe tennis balls or a whiffle ball, wiffleball, sting spitballs video. Yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 4: so this is this is Lai after the games.
- 6:51Speaker 5: A golf ball, a golf ball, You see that. That's
- 6:56Speaker 5: the They just trashed the field basically.
- 7:01Speaker 3: And have their own crew go pick it all up.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Put a lot of extra work on the hometown crew.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Yeah you did, And that's not nice, the good folks
- 7:09Speaker 3: of Knoxville having to clean that up.
- 7:12Speaker 2: But where did the guy get a full bottle of mustard?
- 7:16Speaker 4: And I guess the concessions, Like I've never at the
- 7:18Speaker 4: concession stayings at LSU.
- 7:19Speaker 3: You got to get the packets, right, Who brings a
- 7:22Speaker 3: golf ball? Well, like I hate things in my pocket. Yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 3: that's another good point. I mean, was it a guy
- 7:29Speaker 3: with a night game. Maybe he played around a golf
- 7:30Speaker 3: that morning, ham straight from the golf course, and you
- 7:32Speaker 3: know how you accidentally leave a ball in your pocket
- 7:34Speaker 3: every once in a while.
- 7:38Speaker 4: This would be kind of the definition of just inciting violence,
- 7:41Speaker 4: right yeah. Yeah, so straight to prison if somebody gets
- 7:44Speaker 4: hurt for josh Iybel, and straight to the gym for
- 7:48Speaker 4: josh Ibel.
- 7:52Speaker 5: I mean him and Mike Elko got a team.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Up on that, Yeah they do. Maybe they need to
- 7:58Speaker 3: go see our friends over Juveni medical dot com.
- 8:01Speaker 5: They got great stuff for They.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Got great stuff. They got stuff for weight loss, they
- 8:05Speaker 4: really do. They got everything. They got stuff for energy,
- 8:09Speaker 4: they got stuff for maybe sexual wellness, which I don't know.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Maybe on pypel needs a lot of these things. I
- 8:14Speaker 4: have no idea, but he low t for sure. Hormone
- 8:18Speaker 4: replacement therapy Louising as leader for the last ten years,
- 8:20Speaker 4: Richard in hormone replacement therapy. Like back in the day,
- 8:23Speaker 4: like when we were growing up, we thought of like
- 8:26Speaker 4: late nineties baseball like I want to be high test bro,
- 8:29Speaker 4: like I want to do it well.
- 8:30Speaker 2: No that rejuven Me. It's all about being medically supervised.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Just the right amount of hormones for your age, make
- 8:37Speaker 4: you feel the way God intended right there, So go
- 8:40Speaker 4: check them out. Hormeon replacement therapy, peptide therapy make you
- 8:43Speaker 4: feel like I'm taking the wolverine peptide makes some pains
- 8:46Speaker 4: when I wake up. No more, you feel good now.
- 8:49Speaker 4: But he's seeing them like a wolverine. Like the wolverine
- 8:51Speaker 4: not a wolverine. Let me try that one out. So
- 8:53Speaker 4: Jami Medical I got thirteen locations across Louisiana, So chances
- 8:56Speaker 4: are if you're hearing our voice, you have an awesome location,
- 8:59Speaker 4: ready to ready to take that blood work, get your

- 9:04Speaker 4: maybe there's nothing wrong. Maybe there's They're gonna be like, hey,
- 9:07Speaker 4: you're good to go. Maybe come back in five years
- 9:09Speaker 4: and multiple check you out there, But go check them out.

- 9:16Speaker 4: sure you're doing it with the pros. Louisiana leading the
- 9:18Speaker 4: way for the last ten years rejuven me medical dot com. Olandra, Yes,
- 9:28Speaker 4: you did say you might have had a question.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, going from sec Okay, So my question is
- 9:36Speaker 5: I kept seeing videos of people saying that Oklahoma is underrated,
- 9:40Speaker 5: like multiple videos. Jake was saying it. I don't remember
- 9:44Speaker 5: if you said, I don't like a lot of people
- 9:46Speaker 5: were saying I think Oklahoma is underrated. Can you still
- 9:50Speaker 5: call them underrated if.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Everybody if everybody's calling them yeah, yeah, So that was
- 9:54Speaker 3: like early on in the week.
- 9:56Speaker 5: So or can we just say Oklahoma's getting the properties.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I think they're getting their property now it come in.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Shouldn't be underrated. They shouldn't think they should either.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I mean, they made the playoff last year with a quarterback.
- 10:09Speaker 3: It was hurt half the season.
- 10:11Speaker 5: They got a lot of returners to.
- 10:12Speaker 3: You got a lot of returners, brought in a lot
- 10:15Speaker 3: of guys on the off I think it was pretty
- 10:16Speaker 3: interesting listening to h might have done y'all show that
- 10:19Speaker 3: Sam Naggi is like the gym there nag yeah, Jim
- 10:23Speaker 3: and talking about how you know the amount of titands
- 10:25Speaker 3: are going after and they're trying to structure the offense
- 10:28Speaker 3: the way that we're in the NFL.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Yeah, So when so he was when he was giving
- 10:33Speaker 4: us those answers, he was talking about, of course they've
- 10:36Speaker 4: they've they've kind of reloaded on defense.
- 10:38Speaker 2: That's I mean, that's Venables thing. He's a defensive guy.
- 10:40Speaker 4: And let's not forget they made the playoffs last year,
- 10:46Speaker 4: and so he's talking about, Yeah, he kind of skipped
- 10:48Speaker 4: over the defense like, yeah, we're gonna be really good
- 10:50Speaker 4: on defense, like we've got that's Venables thing. But offense
- 10:54Speaker 4: is like we've he mentioned that they brought in three
- 10:58Speaker 4: they got three tight ends and the NFL draftable tight ends,
- 11:02Speaker 4: and then he just kept going and then like as
- 11:05Speaker 4: soon as he said that, I couldn't hear anything else
- 11:07Speaker 4: he said because of that tight end comment, And I
- 11:10Speaker 4: was like, okay, follow up question to you.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Are y'all.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Are y'all trying to mimic NFL teams right now? Because
- 11:18Speaker 4: a lot of times there's a separation between college and
- 11:21Speaker 4: NFL schemes. The clap count, all the stupid stuff that
- 11:23Speaker 4: you do, and look to the sideline stuff that a
- 11:25Speaker 4: lot of uh.
- 11:27Speaker 2: College offenses do.
- 11:28Speaker 4: But are y'all trying to mimic a professional offense because
- 11:32Speaker 4: the best, some of the best offenses in the NFL
- 11:35Speaker 4: running thirteen personnel. The Rams are one, I mean, one
- 11:38Speaker 4: of the most prolific offenses. Last year ran a ton
- 11:41Speaker 4: of tight ends. And there's more and more tight ends
- 11:44Speaker 4: being utilized now in the NFL than ever before.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Like a record number drafted this year. It's yeah, it's crazy.
- 11:51Speaker 4: And like even there was a there's a ton of
- 11:53Speaker 4: them at the Senior Bowl when we were there and
- 11:54Speaker 4: they were all good. A lot of athletes are just
- 11:57Speaker 4: playing that position because it's that position has evolved. I
- 12:02Speaker 4: was like, so we're y'all trying to emulate, like in
- 12:04Speaker 4: front thirteen personnel and try to be like the prolific NFL.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And he was like, He's like, oh, no, too much.
- 12:13Speaker 2: That's not too much.
- 12:14Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, there's He's like, you know what, there's
- 12:17Speaker 3: probably no there's probably no accident that we did not
- 12:20Speaker 3: televise our spring game this past because I think they
- 12:24Speaker 3: are going to be If they can install it that
- 12:27Speaker 3: type of offense and successfully run.
- 12:29Speaker 2: It, I think they're gonna be really good.
- 12:33Speaker 4: John Mattier had a lot of hype going into the
- 12:35Speaker 4: twenty twenty five season. His first year at Oklahoma. He
- 12:39Speaker 4: had been super dynamic playmaker at Washington State. There's a
- 12:43Speaker 4: lot of hype. They were like, man, how's he going
- 12:45Speaker 4: to translate? He could like he could set sec on fire.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Well he gets hurt. Yeah, and he has surgery on
- 12:51Speaker 4: his thumb of his throwing hand the week they played Texas.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Yeah, they like forced him to come back early. I
- 12:57Speaker 5: mean they probably didn't force him, but like he came
- 12:59Speaker 5: backbaly Ware was like.
- 13:01Speaker 3: He was like, there's no way he was going to
- 13:03Speaker 3: miss the red right right? How do you have surgery
- 13:09Speaker 3: on your thumb?
- 13:10Speaker 2: And then yeah, a lot of light of knee, a
- 13:14Speaker 2: lot of.
- 13:15Speaker 3: I broke this finger. I played the whole second half
- 13:17Speaker 3: of the season with a bunch of needles. We just
- 13:20Speaker 3: shot it before the game. Maybe numb it up going
- 13:22Speaker 3: at halftime, renumb it up.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Then yeah, Yeah, Naggie hat like a twinkle in his
- 13:28Speaker 4: eye when he started talking about my tea. And and
- 13:32Speaker 4: this is the guy that's that that ran the Senior
- 13:34Speaker 4: Bowl for a long time. This scouted a lot of guys.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And of course you're always going to be high on
- 13:37Speaker 4: your players and talk them up, but you can't like
- 13:42Speaker 4: hide like a real facial expression like you can't like
- 13:46Speaker 4: make that stuff up, right, Like he's very excited about
- 13:49Speaker 4: their team this year and that, and you're right though,
- 13:54Speaker 4: like everybody was talking about them towards the end of
- 13:56Speaker 4: the and like usually get excited.
- 13:58Speaker 3: That first day Oklahoma went on Monday at see everyone
- 14:01Speaker 3: kind of gets like if the coach speaks well, or
- 14:05Speaker 3: like there's a player that like passes the eyeball test,
- 14:08Speaker 3: you're like, oh, yeah, we're they first stay out.
- 14:11Speaker 4: You're like, oh yeah, you get excited. You're like, oh,
- 14:12Speaker 4: they're gonna be great. That didn't cool off Like throughout
- 14:15Speaker 4: the week, everyone's like, you know, Oklahoma's gonna be They're
- 14:18Speaker 4: gonna be the real deal.
- 14:18Speaker 5: I'll say, like, okay, So Jake started talking about this,
- 14:21Speaker 5: I don't know, like a couple of weeks ago or whatever,
- 14:24Speaker 5: Like he was like I don't think Oklahoma was getting
- 14:26Speaker 5: enough respect, and I'm like, I think it's weird that
- 14:28Speaker 5: they're not. Because last season again they go to a playoff.
- 14:32Speaker 5: John Mattier was like a Heisman front runner until he
- 14:34Speaker 5: got injured. I don't know where you think that they
- 14:37Speaker 5: took a step back, Like Brent Vinables is still their coach.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't see where anybody for a reason for
- 14:44Speaker 4: them to be. They got like they got un sexy
- 14:47Speaker 4: to watch. I guess because their offense wasn't great last
- 14:49Speaker 4: year after he got hurt. Yeah, and that's kind of
- 14:53Speaker 4: where Venables had a blind spot a little bit on
- 14:56Speaker 4: otmous and natural for that that kind of personality. Like
- 15:00Speaker 4: they just like Oklahoma did, like the complete inverse that
- 15:04Speaker 4: they were, you know, ten years ago, that they had
- 15:07Speaker 4: been for like twenty straight years with a terrible defense.
- 15:09Speaker 2: You had to get a defense, I mean that was
- 15:10Speaker 2: the whole Big twelve or whatever.
- 15:13Speaker 4: That's why you go with Nables, right, Yeah, because Oklahoma
- 15:15Speaker 4: is known for having terrible defenses.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Yeah. How many how many high has been winning quarterbacks
- 15:20Speaker 2: did you have for so long? Yeah?
- 15:22Speaker 3: And then we played them in the playoffs and it
- 15:24Speaker 3: beat them freaking forty something to whatever. That was justin
- 15:27Speaker 3: Jefferson had four to yeas.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Anyway, I think Oklahoma's I think they're gonna be scary. Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 2: I think they're gonna be good.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I Mean it's so weird now and it's hard for
- 15:37Speaker 3: me to really gauge on how each team is going
- 15:39Speaker 3: to be because everybody's so different from year to year,
- 15:43Speaker 3: the whole sixty new players at LSU. I mean I
- 15:46Speaker 3: can probably name ten to fifteen players elsue right now,
- 15:49Speaker 3: I don't know them yet.
- 15:50Speaker 2: That's how I've been for like But now call them
- 15:55Speaker 2: their numbers.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, start watching them. It's gonna be all numbers, just
- 15:58Speaker 3: like you do on film. But it's different now. I
- 16:00Speaker 3: mean used to I knew eighty percent of the incoming
- 16:03Speaker 3: team yep, And now it's like you don't know anybody,
- 16:05Speaker 3: so you don't know who's gonna be good. Like ULSS,
- 16:07Speaker 3: you should be good unless you on paper probably looks
- 16:09Speaker 3: like they're gonna be in the top of the SEC.
- 16:11Speaker 3: But you don't know how those guys come together, how
- 16:13Speaker 3: that they work together. You know, I'll tell Handigriff that
- 16:17Speaker 3: when we won the national championship in O seven, that
- 16:19Speaker 3: was probably like the best organized summer I had my
- 16:22Speaker 3: entire career, and you and early and the way we
- 16:24Speaker 3: ran things in the summer and had three, you know,
- 16:27Speaker 3: seven on seven a year work together. Then you go
- 16:29Speaker 3: back to like nineteen, they talk about the summer of
- 16:31Speaker 3: ten thousand catches, the amount of work that the quarterbacks
- 16:33Speaker 3: and receivers did. You know, that's all I can hope
- 16:36Speaker 3: for this year. Is like, you know that Levitt was hurt,
- 16:39Speaker 3: but he got healthy towards the end of spring. No
- 16:42Speaker 3: one knows how much work they put in. You know,
- 16:44Speaker 3: everybody's gonna tell you that the work's been great. Everybody stuff.
- 16:47Speaker 3: You're gonna say that, you know it was the great summer,
- 16:48Speaker 3: best summer we've ever had. But you never really know
- 16:51Speaker 3: until you know. It starts flying around on the first
- 16:54Speaker 3: couple of weeks. And work is different. Hard work is
- 16:57Speaker 3: not all hard work is the same. You could spend
- 17:00Speaker 3: the same amount of hours doing something that somebody else does.
- 17:04Speaker 2: But it's the intent that you do it with. I
- 17:06Speaker 2: tell my son that all the time.
- 17:08Speaker 4: It's like when you go and train, if we play catch,
- 17:11Speaker 4: if I tell you to do a drill, if you
- 17:13Speaker 4: go exercise, whatever it is like, if you don't do
- 17:16Speaker 4: it with one hundred percent of your heart in your mind,
- 17:19Speaker 4: you're not going to get out of it everything you could.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Now you're going to get something out of it, but
- 17:24Speaker 4: you're going to get more. You were going to improve
- 17:26Speaker 4: faster if you were all in. Now, if you're complaining
- 17:28Speaker 4: a little bit, you're not going to get one hundred
- 17:30Speaker 4: percent out. So like it's the intent that that makes
- 17:34Speaker 4: like an off season, like we didn't work any more
- 17:36Speaker 4: hours in seven than we did in other years. And
- 17:40Speaker 4: I think accountability is contagious. Hey, I think accountability and
- 17:46Speaker 4: that intent is.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Quarterback is the most important. I mean, you've got to
- 17:49Speaker 3: have a quarterback that gets people in, you know, And
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm not knocking like with jay Lee, he tried, but
- 17:54Speaker 3: he didn't have the respect of the older guys and
- 17:56Speaker 3: we're going in the next year. Yeah, you know, when
- 17:57Speaker 3: Paralleu got kicked off, he couldn't get that going, and
- 18:01Speaker 3: then you know with Jordan he couldn't really get it going.
- 18:03Speaker 3: We never had another quarterback that could demand it and
- 18:06Speaker 3: make things happen the off season the way that it's hard.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And you know Paralleu situation through everything off schedule, right,
- 18:14Speaker 4: and you know, it remains to be saying we'll never
- 18:16Speaker 4: know I help Paraleu as like a leader could have
- 18:18Speaker 4: been or whatever. It's not not even worth like talking about.
- 18:21Speaker 4: You will never saw speculations. You don't know. But it's
- 18:24Speaker 4: it's hard as a young guy that's got no notches
- 18:27Speaker 4: on his belt and to demand that to somebody else.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And I'm sure y'all did good y'all.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Y'all had other leaders that have been there, But there's
- 18:35Speaker 4: something about the quarterback position, right, it's.
- 18:37Speaker 2: It's the most important position in sports. Yeah, and oh
- 18:43Speaker 2: she's going yeah three actually, but you know a few
- 18:47Speaker 2: of them. But like I said, you've got to see
- 18:49Speaker 2: how how did summer go?
- 18:51Speaker 4: Al Laine said he left Sam at home for to
- 18:56Speaker 4: run those players run practices bys or not. Yeah, I
- 19:05Speaker 4: don't know why you left them.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I think you just forgot.
- 19:10Speaker 5: That feels like he just forgot.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, probably.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I think that SEC media days was like of so
- 19:17Speaker 3: so little importance to Lane Kiffin.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Well it's his first season. He has a lot of
- 19:22Speaker 5: bigger fish.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I think he was of so little importance to go
- 19:26Speaker 3: to SECB to days. He was just like, oh yeah, yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 3: that probably would have been better. Was everyone so upset
- 19:32Speaker 3: about that we hadn't practiced yet?
- 19:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but a good reason and a good excuses, you know,
- 19:37Speaker 4: all right, let's just put him there for Let's just
- 19:40Speaker 4: say he was there to run practice.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Gott to bring a quarterback.
- 19:44Speaker 4: It's like a number one rule if you have a quarterback,
- 19:46Speaker 4: Like I think there was six or seven teams that
- 19:48Speaker 4: didn't bring a quarterback. But most of them are like
- 19:51Speaker 4: in a real competition.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Like my thing was like if he didn't bring him
- 19:56Speaker 4: because okay, maybe he wants to create the illusion because
- 19:58Speaker 4: he hadn't practiced, He hadn't like been a full go
- 19:59Speaker 4: at practic.
- 20:00Speaker 2: This maybe wants to create this illusion of competition.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Like that was like in O seven, like I didn't
- 20:05Speaker 4: go to media days because I hadn't technically been named
- 20:07Speaker 4: the starter yet. Yeah, but Lane in his press conference
- 20:12Speaker 4: it was like our quarterback Sam.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Levitt, so he obviously he named him right there. So
- 20:17Speaker 3: all right, we are going to take a break.
- 20:19Speaker 4: We will, we'll come back here, continue talking SE's media days,
- 20:24Speaker 4: continue to talking about whatever, and then at eight thirty
- 20:27Speaker 4: we are going.
- 20:28Speaker 2: To do OTB mailbags.
- 20:30Speaker 4: So in a few minutes you can start getting those
- 20:31Speaker 4: questions in for Richard and I.
- 20:34Speaker 2: So stick with us right here and off the bench.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Off the bench, all right, Richard, you.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Got some plumbing problems, You got some plumbing issues. Collin family,
- 20:46Speaker 4: Collin family, central plumbing, you know central plumming. Oh yeah,
- 20:49Speaker 4: wife's cousins. That's right.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Maybe the Pain family.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Pain family been doing it a long time, third generation
- 20:55Speaker 4: company and they are the experts, and they are the
- 20:58Speaker 4: experts in commercial plumbing, residential plumbing. It doesn't really matter.
- 21:01Speaker 4: They've done everything for me. They've been to my house,
- 21:03Speaker 4: they've helped us, and I've told you all before. At
- 21:06Speaker 4: my place of business, they took a just an old
- 21:09Speaker 4: warehouse that was four walls and a roof and they
- 21:12Speaker 4: turned into a full blown food and beverage manufacturing facility.
- 21:15Speaker 4: So we're talking gas lines for heat exchangers and boilers.
- 21:20Speaker 4: We're talking water lines that bring in a ton of
- 21:22Speaker 4: water because we got to pump a lot in there.
- 21:24Speaker 4: So they can literally do everything. There's nothing too big,
- 21:26Speaker 4: there's nothing too small, there's nothing too crazy or gross
- 21:29Speaker 4: in the plumbing game. They've seen it all and they
- 21:31Speaker 4: are experts at it. So that's Central Plumbing. Got check
- 21:33Speaker 4: them out in Lafayette and the greater Baton Rouge. Central
- 21:36Speaker 4: Plumbing dot Org. Central Plumbing dot Org.
- 21:50Speaker 1: From the locker room to the airwaves gets off the
- 21:53Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn watching and.
- 22:04Speaker 7: Hello, we're waiting.
- 22:13Speaker 2: All right, welcome back here.
- 22:17Speaker 5: I have another question. It's a good song it is,
- 22:20Speaker 5: I'll leave it in the background.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Wait.
- 22:24Speaker 5: I wanted to get to.
- 22:24Speaker 2: The high that Richard put it on the playlist.
- 22:29Speaker 5: And me, whatever, Sah, they were in their bag. They
- 22:39Speaker 5: were in there, like Daryl Hall and John. We're on
- 22:44Speaker 5: another level.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Can you imagine being in the studio and they were
- 22:47Speaker 2: like creating this song.
- 22:48Speaker 5: I would feel like I was transcending time and space.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I probably were. Can you imagine if you're Sarah, they
- 22:53Speaker 2: were on some stuff.
- 22:56Speaker 5: If I was Sarah, you were Sarah.
- 22:58Speaker 2: My God can tell me nothing.
- 23:01Speaker 5: You don't know this reference yet, but I would feel
- 23:03Speaker 5: like matt Damon and the Sirens scene when he passes
- 23:06Speaker 5: the sirens on the Odyssey. That's how it would feel.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Classic Homer, Classic Homer. Did you see John Mattier while
- 23:15Speaker 5: you were there?
- 23:16Speaker 2: I saw him from a.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Distance, Okay, I was gonna ask if he's just as
- 23:19Speaker 5: jacked in person.
- 23:21Speaker 4: So a lot of the so we were kind of
- 23:23Speaker 4: we were not in a great location our table. We
- 23:26Speaker 4: were at the end. So if like you were coming
- 23:28Speaker 4: to like where we were, you were coming there for
- 23:30Speaker 4: a reason, like straight to it. Yeah, it wasn't like
- 23:33Speaker 4: you were mingling around. Yeah, dude, Jack Naggie said he
- 23:39Speaker 4: Venables had to change his tie, so you had to
- 23:42Speaker 4: wear a Tie's.
- 23:43Speaker 2: That's venables rule that they said he couldn't button the
- 23:46Speaker 2: top button.
- 23:47Speaker 5: I love that.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Okay, hype is the same way. That's typical college for
- 23:51Speaker 2: a different reason though, First time he tried to put
- 23:54Speaker 2: a suit on the day before we got there. Yeah,
- 23:56Speaker 2: this first time, first try, Sorry, coach.
- 23:59Speaker 3: So I remember my freshman year when we were going
- 24:01Speaker 3: to all I didn't know about having to wear a suit,
- 24:06Speaker 3: and it's like everything's just going along, you know, Okay,
- 24:09Speaker 3: you made the travel list, We're going to Auburn. I
- 24:11Speaker 3: didn't have a suit and this is like Thursday. So
- 24:14Speaker 3: I had to wear courts and I wear a suit
- 24:17Speaker 3: that only went about halfway down my arms.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I had the short jacket. Ham fine, but the jacket
- 24:23Speaker 2: was messed up.
- 24:24Speaker 5: So okay, obviously I wasn't fully listening to y'all because
- 24:27Speaker 5: I was dealing with the back a lot back. Here
- 24:31Speaker 5: were y'all talking about whether or not he has a
- 24:33Speaker 5: six pack? Yeah, okay, what conclusion did you come to?
- 24:37Speaker 2: Well, we weren't specifically talking about, but you were.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Talking about how good quarterbacks don't have a six Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 5: so we were it was just and then Jalen Hurts
- 24:45Speaker 5: was like the only one that y'all could think.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Of yeah, because they were talking about how like how
- 24:48Speaker 4: how much John Myteer's been, how Jackie is now, how
- 24:51Speaker 4: much you've been working out? And like I was, And
- 24:53Speaker 4: I wasn't necessarily targeted towards him because I still don't
- 24:56Speaker 4: know if he's got a six pack you can have
- 24:58Speaker 4: you can work out on and be a good muscle definition.
- 25:01Speaker 2: But that was the lock on Brady Quinn. He was
- 25:03Speaker 2: too jazzed, Yeah, exactly.
- 25:04Speaker 3: His shoulders were too stiff, like six packs a different
- 25:08Speaker 3: level of being in like jacked up, Like you can
- 25:11Speaker 3: have good you can be really strong and have you know,
- 25:13Speaker 3: good definition of your arms and legs, but he will
- 25:16Speaker 3: not have a six pack, right, So I made the
- 25:21Speaker 3: and I think I've talked about this a little bit before.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Has there ever been a championship quarterback that has a
- 25:27Speaker 4: six pack? And Jalen Hurts was the first one, and
- 25:31Speaker 4: really the only one that came to mind is like
- 25:34Speaker 4: you would one hundred percent. Now maybe you've never seen it.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Pobo probably had a six pack, maybe, but I can
- 25:40Speaker 4: honestly see him not like and I'm talking about like
- 25:43Speaker 4: a does like a ripped six pack, like he could
- 25:46Speaker 4: on the magazine six Yeah, something like that one where
- 25:49Speaker 4: you like you can kind of see it, and I,
- 25:50Speaker 4: you know, I I stick to my opinion that championship
- 25:55Speaker 4: quarterbacks would rather drink a six pack than have a
- 25:57Speaker 4: six pack.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Sure, it's just usually not conducive to the position. I'm
- 26:03Speaker 2: trying to think.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Now, that's a really well So I went to go
- 26:06Speaker 5: look at his Instagram and there's a video of him
- 26:09Speaker 5: and like Danny Stutsman's in it too, and some other
- 26:12Speaker 5: guys from Oklahoma, and they were at a Luke Comb's
- 26:16Speaker 5: concert and they always shotgun out of Luke Comb's like
- 26:18Speaker 5: he brings people out to shotgun a beer with him.
- 26:20Speaker 5: So John Mattier and Danny Sutsman and whoever all else
- 26:25Speaker 5: went over there and they were shotgunning the beer and
- 26:27Speaker 5: then Danny Stutsman like rips John Mattere's shirt open, and
- 26:31Speaker 5: I was like, it looks like he might have a
- 26:34Speaker 5: little bit of right there. Yeah, definition, I don't know
- 26:37Speaker 5: if i'd call it like a straight up six pack,
- 26:39Speaker 5: but he has like six packages.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not saying like up quarterbacks have like beer
- 26:43Speaker 4: bellies or anything or dad pods.
- 26:45Speaker 2: There's got to work out.
- 26:47Speaker 5: That picture of Pat Mahomes.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Yeah that didn't have a six pack. No, Peyton Manning
- 26:54Speaker 3: didn't have I'd be hard pressed to find another one.
- 26:57Speaker 5: They're saying, kill a Cam Newton and a Chat.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Cam could have had one. Cam Cam definitely had one.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 3: God, he was such a freak guys like that. I
- 27:10Speaker 3: mean I felt like he ruined coach Miles. Yeah, every
- 27:13Speaker 3: quarterback Miles had after that, he was trying to find
- 27:15Speaker 3: another and it wasn't gonna happen. Was Cam one of
- 27:18Speaker 3: the people that got let go?
- 27:21Speaker 5: Yeah? He was? But Cam. So the thing about Ryan
- 27:23Speaker 5: Clark and Cam is like they have separate podcasts that
- 27:26Speaker 5: they have, so I think they'll be fine.
- 27:28Speaker 2: But well, listening to talk, I like him. It's kind
- 27:32Speaker 2: of fun.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Sometimes Cam goes in and out for me. Yeah, right,
- 27:37Speaker 3: there's sometimes he'd get on something. I'm like, man, that's
- 27:39Speaker 3: not even what they're I think all personalities kind of go.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I mean, Cam's on a different level a little bit
- 27:45Speaker 2: on the way he talks, but like.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I kind of listened, like listen to his podcast on
- 27:49Speaker 3: the at least the little clips I see that come.
- 27:51Speaker 2: On you know, Twitter or whatever it is.
- 27:53Speaker 3: He's brutally honest, he's.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Not going to cover up anything. He's going to say
- 27:57Speaker 2: exactly how he feels.
- 27:59Speaker 5: I can't take the outfits, I can't.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Take the hair. And like the top pats with the
- 28:03Speaker 2: hack cutout so hair can come out the back of it.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Really expensive hat. I'm just gonna need you to cut
- 28:09Speaker 2: the top of it off.
- 28:12Speaker 5: Gotta fit my hair through it to fit there.
- 28:15Speaker 4: All right, let's go to break and hey, if you're
- 28:17Speaker 4: joining us on YouTube, we're gonna do a little OTB
- 28:21Speaker 4: mail bag. Yeah, I know it's Friday, but we're gonna
- 28:23Speaker 4: do it because we've been out of town, we haven't
- 28:25Speaker 4: had a chance to do it this week. We're gonna
- 28:27Speaker 4: do a little OTB mail bag for all of us
- 28:29Speaker 4: here in the studio. So get your questions in and
- 28:32Speaker 4: let's have a little fun here on a Friday morning.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So stick with us right here and off the bench.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Off the bench, all right.
- 28:39Speaker 3: It is uh, it's it's late July now, my goodness,
- 28:41Speaker 3: and it is weird, definitely in the middle of cannonball season.
- 28:45Speaker 4: And if you want to do a cannonball, maybe it's
- 28:47Speaker 4: a jackknife. Maybe you just need a maybe you're just
- 28:50Speaker 4: a pencil guy. You just want to do a pencil.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Well you need a great pool, and that's Russell Pools
- 28:54Speaker 3: Russell Pools dot com.
- 28:57Speaker 2: And they've been the name.
- 28:59Speaker 4: That you think of when you think of the highest
- 29:01Speaker 4: quality custom pools in Louisiana for a long long time.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Chris Anderson and the gang over there doing an incredible job.
- 29:06Speaker 4: They are working on our pool right now, and I
- 29:08Speaker 4: can tell you just from the experience that I've had
- 29:11Speaker 4: has been awesome. We've talked to had that first conversation
- 29:14Speaker 4: and kind of talk to him about like what we like,
- 29:16Speaker 4: what we're done with lazy in our count We're better
- 29:18Speaker 4: at saying like, well we don't like better than what
- 29:19Speaker 4: we like. Well, they can take like a simple conversation,
- 29:22Speaker 4: and then all of a sudden, a couple of weeks later,
- 29:23Speaker 4: they had these full bown plans and then we were like, yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 4: that's it. It's exactly what we were thinking. Because they
- 29:29Speaker 4: got two landscape architects, so they got a ton of experience.
- 29:31Speaker 4: They can take your dream to reality, do everything that
- 29:34Speaker 4: you bought right over there.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Russell Pools back up.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Two thousand and seven, Shamps Purple and Gold to the core.
- 30:00Speaker 1: This is off the bench with Hester and Flynn Baton
- 30:03Speaker 1: Rouge's go to for all things Louisiana sports.
- 30:08Speaker 2: You went, you wouldn't even talk to me, so crazy.
- 30:20Speaker 4: All right, looking back here off the bench Friday, okayling good.
- 30:26Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to the weekend, looking forward to a
- 30:29Speaker 4: little rest. No, you can't rest, you gotta work.
- 30:31Speaker 2: However, I did, I do you gotta work, can't, which
- 30:33Speaker 2: is gonna be great. Though.
- 30:35Speaker 4: I did take a couple of naps when I was
- 30:37Speaker 4: in Tampa that I didn't really have a lot of
- 30:38Speaker 4: obligations in the afternoon, went up to the hotel room
- 30:43Speaker 4: and I did. I was a sleepy little boy. I'm
- 30:46Speaker 4: trying to after my vacation before that.
- 30:48Speaker 5: A hotel us hard. It's hard because they got those
- 30:51Speaker 5: blackout the blackout.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Now, I do like to leave the curtains open a
- 30:55Speaker 4: little bit, just so you don't wake up like dis oriented.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Yeah, like where am I would? Did I miss the show?
- 31:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 31:03Speaker 2: I didn't want to wake up like it.
- 31:06Speaker 5: I don't know, like six in the afternoon and be like,
- 31:08Speaker 5: oh at six in the morning. Yeah, happens to me
- 31:11Speaker 5: a lot.
- 31:11Speaker 2: If I not I love it.
- 31:12Speaker 5: If I nap and I wake up and I can't
- 31:16Speaker 5: tell what time it is outside and I look at
- 31:17Speaker 5: my phone and it's the time that the show would
- 31:19Speaker 5: be on. I like freak out a little bit.
- 31:23Speaker 3: I still have those dreams, like waking up late to
- 31:25Speaker 3: a practice. Oh for sure, those are the dreams away terrifying,
- 31:31Speaker 3: you're gonna walk into the meeting room late.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I still got them too, cold sweats. It's awful, all right.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Still a little mailbag.
- 31:39Speaker 5: I help this.
- 31:40Speaker 7: Special delivery for the best.
- 31:42Speaker 1: And look it is marked most urgent.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Writing to you the Internet? What the is the internet?
- 31:58Speaker 2: All right?
- 31:58Speaker 4: This one was here to say, asked the bench, But
- 32:01Speaker 4: you know obviously OTB Mailbag's very different from that.
- 32:04Speaker 2: To get your fact straight, nook, is Richard fully recovered
- 32:08Speaker 2: from his accident?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Uh, I mean as recovered as I need to be.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I'm not playing basketball anymore. You're not gonna be on
- 32:18Speaker 3: the active roster anytime saying no. So I was coaching
- 32:21Speaker 3: some the line drills the other day and I had
- 32:23Speaker 3: to get down and show them how to do things,
- 32:24Speaker 3: and I had to call Jack Murchie. I think I
- 32:26Speaker 3: need to get my wrist x rad. You know, broke
- 32:28Speaker 3: something again. Yeah, really sore, but yeah I'm good. Hahac
- 32:36Speaker 3: Oh to be mail Bank. What was your favorite part
- 32:39Speaker 3: of SEC media days Hotel naps. Hotel naps were a leaf.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I mean that was fantastic.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 32:48Speaker 4: The hotel I was staying at had fantastic old fashions.
- 32:52Speaker 2: They were really good. So I had a couple of
- 32:54Speaker 2: those throughout the week.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Probably our interview with what weeks from like the doing
- 33:01Speaker 3: doing the show standpoint. I mean, he's awesome. We've interviewed
- 33:04Speaker 3: him multiple times. He's just awesome. Like he's from the
- 33:08Speaker 3: way he talks, to his accent, to his energy, to
- 33:11Speaker 3: the eye contact to everything, like he's got it made
- 33:15Speaker 3: like be a good football player and he's going to
- 33:17Speaker 3: be on TV the rest of his life.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was. And he's so genuine, like he's
- 33:22Speaker 2: a kid.
- 33:23Speaker 3: That just you know, absolutely loved what he's doing. Yeah,
- 33:25Speaker 3: and you can see that he's my favorite person watching
- 33:27Speaker 3: an interview I did. I don't know if you saw
- 33:29Speaker 3: the interview, Richard, but I asked him about so.
- 33:32Speaker 4: During the portal, you were recruiting a lot, Like how
- 33:35Speaker 4: much did you It seemed like you were the closer
- 33:38Speaker 4: right for for a lot of these guys.
- 33:39Speaker 2: We saw pictures of you.
- 33:40Speaker 3: Was Sam level when he was here he's like, yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 3: he's like, I think it was like twenty straight days.
- 33:44Speaker 3: I was at at Stabs and Suffer Club. He's like,
- 33:47Speaker 3: he was like, man, I had to tell him to
- 33:48Speaker 3: stop putting the butter on the steak. He was like, man,
- 33:51Speaker 3: I got tired of eating good.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Oh.
- 33:54Speaker 3: So that was that was pretty funny. But there was
- 33:56Speaker 3: a lot of good moments. But again, you know sec
- 33:58Speaker 3: media days, it's not like the most it's it's not
- 34:00Speaker 3: an electric factory in there by any means.
- 34:02Speaker 2: But it was good.
- 34:02Speaker 4: It's awesome to get all these people into one bag,
- 34:04Speaker 4: but hard to beat a good hotel nap. Like we
- 34:07Speaker 4: have said, let's see here OTB mail bag.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Did Flynn flinch when Danny warfol was describing Lacey getting
- 34:18Speaker 3: him to commit to LSU.
- 34:19Speaker 2: He Danny told us a good story about.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Getting recruited LSU and they took him into a room
- 34:23Speaker 3: with all these beautiful girls, and he was like, yeah,
- 34:25Speaker 3: if they would offer me, I've probably been like, yep,
- 34:27Speaker 3: this is this is the moment, this is the place
- 34:29Speaker 3: for me. So yeah, I get it. There's a lot
- 34:33Speaker 3: of pretty Lacey's at LSU, so he's always a joke.
- 34:37Speaker 3: You get there for recruiting. We got all these beautiful
- 34:39Speaker 3: girls that are taking around you. Sign you get there
- 34:42Speaker 3: and you'll never see him again, absolutely disappear. All right,
- 34:46Speaker 3: let's see here. Okay, how about this one's for Richard.
- 34:50Speaker 3: I'm gonna let Richard answer this one.
- 34:52Speaker 4: I said, OTB mail bag, were you ever as excited
- 34:55Speaker 4: for the start of the season under b K as
- 34:58Speaker 4: you are for this year?
- 35:00Speaker 3: I was quitting doing all radio of BK was coming back.
- 35:04Speaker 3: I could not do one more post game?
- 35:05Speaker 2: Would be?
- 35:06Speaker 3: Was there ever a year like even his first year?
- 35:08Speaker 3: I think the first year was. You know, it was
- 35:10Speaker 3: a little exciting because, look, you go through it. He
- 35:14Speaker 3: was the best coach available at the time, winning his coach.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I thought that anybody that could do it at Notre
- 35:20Speaker 3: Dame and do the revamp and Notre Dame could come
- 35:21Speaker 3: here and make it successful. Didn't work out, and he
- 35:24Speaker 3: just wore on you really quick. I met him a
- 35:28Speaker 3: couple of times. I didn't even like him when I
- 35:30Speaker 3: met him, Like, you know, I go in there and
- 35:31Speaker 3: try to talk to him, and he just kind of
- 35:34Speaker 3: talked down to you.
- 35:35Speaker 2: The way you talked to me.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Yeah, in that setting. I played golf with him once
- 35:39Speaker 4: and he was. He was really he was really good
- 35:41Speaker 4: to play golf like he was like a normal first
- 35:44Speaker 4: season he played golf with him whatever, getting mad at
- 35:46Speaker 4: him and say, man, right, but no, I think the
- 35:50Speaker 4: answer is no, like this is this is exciting just
- 35:52Speaker 4: because well we're all like we're football nerds, right, We're
- 35:55Speaker 4: always so excited for football season, no matter. So it's like, oh,
- 35:58Speaker 4: you had a nine point now or a ten in
- 36:01Speaker 4: your excitement level. So I'm always excited for football season.
- 36:04Speaker 4: But as excited, I mean as so as bad as
- 36:07Speaker 4: it was last year. I'm just ready for LSU not
- 36:10Speaker 4: to be bad.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 3: I want to watch offense. I want to see his
- 36:13Speaker 3: run the ball. Yeah, you know for four years it
- 36:15Speaker 3: just blows my mind that, you know, and the stats
- 36:17Speaker 3: get skewed. Everybody goes back to Jaydon Daniels. Half of
- 36:19Speaker 3: Jadon daniels running rushing yards were blown plays. That wasn't
- 36:23Speaker 3: a traditional run game. I'm excited for to get back.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I think I just like laying kiff edginess a lot
- 36:28Speaker 3: of attention to it. The Old Miss game I took off.
- 36:31Speaker 3: I'm not doing the postgame for Old Miss at that game.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Good for you, I'm wow, good for you. I don't
- 36:37Speaker 3: want to be anywhere near Oxford. Oh, I want to
- 36:40Speaker 3: sit back and watch everything.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Yeah, we were interviewing. When we were talking to Wet,
- 36:46Speaker 4: He's like, yeah, we get in spring practice. We get
- 36:48Speaker 4: there and the office is in a formation, and he's like, man,
- 36:50Speaker 4: it's really tough knowing that an offense they can run
- 36:52Speaker 4: like six or seven different running plays from that same formation.
- 36:55Speaker 4: And I was like, yeah, you know that's normal, right, Yeah,
- 36:58Speaker 4: that's what.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Normal in my mind with bo Borderline was doing an
- 37:01Speaker 3: interviews like it's been really nice to do inside Run
- 37:04Speaker 3: and Go Line. I'm like what, yeah, Like y'all didn't
- 37:07Speaker 3: do Inside Running Go. Yeah, seriously, that was an hour
- 37:10Speaker 3: of every That's pretty normal. Uh.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Has I go to be Mailbag?
- 37:13Speaker 3: Did QB one ever get Hotel French onion soup? I
- 37:18Speaker 3: did not get it, but I did get room service
- 37:20Speaker 3: twice and it was on the menu both times for lunch,
- 37:23Speaker 3: on the lunch menu and the dinner menu.
- 37:25Speaker 2: And I'll laugh.
- 37:26Speaker 4: So yeah, I think I'll laugh because of the comment
- 37:28Speaker 4: in the chat has to go to the mailbag favorite
- 37:31Speaker 4: fast food restaurant outside of Canes, of course, and Knes
- 37:38Speaker 4: is gooded so that's obviously the beast second favorite.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I need y'all to like get on board with the
- 37:43Speaker 5: honeymustard that they have there.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I forget every time, you.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Know, remind you all every time this.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Poe Boy Express past food is a drive through me. Yeah,
- 37:53Speaker 2: if it.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I think, if you got a window, if you got
- 37:55Speaker 3: a window, I like po Boy Express. No, it's not
- 38:02Speaker 3: with the Long John Silvers.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, and I loved well.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I lived in Flower a little bit.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Okay, I haven't seen one of those in a really
- 38:11Speaker 3: long time.
- 38:12Speaker 5: They still have one in Round Rock. I think my
- 38:14Speaker 5: grandpa is the one that's like keeping them in business.
- 38:18Speaker 5: But I'll still.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Right, it's just one.
- 38:21Speaker 5: I've seen one in Round Rock. I don't know like
- 38:25Speaker 5: any other places, but it's been that same Long John
- 38:27Speaker 5: Silvers has been there since I.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Was a kid.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I got corks cage and seafood. That's yeah, that's true.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I mean Chick fil A. I mean that's kind of.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Is there any other fast food chain seafood.
- 38:40Speaker 5: Places, but it's Quarks And there's another one that's.
- 38:44Speaker 3: On like I'm talking about, like Long John Silvers. It
- 38:46Speaker 3: was all yeah, like everywhere everywhere.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Oh, I think so.
- 38:51Speaker 7: You heard the new Popeye's like theme song and they're like,
- 38:54Speaker 7: I guess bashing on Chick fil A.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Oh, they're trying to get that COVID chicken sandwich war
- 39:00Speaker 2: going again. Oh, I forgot about that. Do you all
- 39:04Speaker 2: remember how crazy the world was?
- 39:06Speaker 3: It was insane, Like you would drive by when Popeyes
- 39:09Speaker 3: came out with that and there'd be a line wrapper,
- 39:11Speaker 3: like you couldn't cross Essen Lane because there's so many
- 39:14Speaker 3: people trying.
- 39:15Speaker 2: To get into.
- 39:15Speaker 5: People just wanted to get out the house, like, let's
- 39:17Speaker 5: go get that chicken sandwich.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Has anybody? Has anybody been to to Popeye since?
- 39:23Speaker 5: Okay, I'm not gonna lie like I haven't been in
- 39:25Speaker 5: a while, but I dabble in Popeye is pretty regularly.
- 39:28Speaker 2: I like Popeyes. It just you got to find a
- 39:30Speaker 2: good one because they have good drinks.
- 39:33Speaker 7: Now the one in such lemonade, chillers and frozen it is.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Terrible, Like the service is usually really bad always, So
- 39:41Speaker 3: they reinvested some of their chicken sandwich profits back into
- 39:45Speaker 3: their drink menu. I think so if you had a
- 39:47Speaker 3: Popeyes with Chick fil A service, Oh, it would be unreal.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it would crush it one hundred.
- 39:53Speaker 7: I think I've ever been to a Popeyes where they
- 39:55Speaker 7: gave him my food like within five minutes.
- 39:58Speaker 2: They always say.
- 39:59Speaker 5: Forever two piece Tuesday.
- 40:00Speaker 3: I'm hitting that up every time my wife wants it.
- 40:03Speaker 3: We'll go there and try to order it and they're like,
- 40:05Speaker 3: we ain't got no chicken. It'll be ready in twenty minutes.
- 40:10Speaker 3: I'm like, this fast food? What's going on?
- 40:12Speaker 2: Right?
- 40:13Speaker 4: Hey, chat you're right Cathin D's Oh yeah, I've never
- 40:17Speaker 4: been seen him. I've seen him in multiple cities too. Okay,
- 40:22Speaker 4: we got some more questions. So what we're gonna do here?
- 40:25Speaker 2: Is part two? Do I do a part two? Oh?

- 43:57Speaker 3: It's a it's a fast food know about I don't
- 44:00Speaker 3: know if that's a national one or not. Hashtag go
- 44:02Speaker 3: to B mailbag. Favorite drink with tequila? Is it a
- 44:05Speaker 3: margarita or some water?
- 44:07Speaker 5: I love a ranch water more than a margarita.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I like a skinny mark.
- 44:12Speaker 5: A skinny mark is good because I find that, like,
- 44:15Speaker 5: not every restaurant knows how to make a good margarita.
- 44:18Speaker 5: Sometimes it's like way too juicy.
- 44:20Speaker 2: That's fair.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Superior marks are always and not everybody makes a good
- 44:24Speaker 4: ranch water either. I know that's pretty simple, but like
- 44:27Speaker 4: there's some of them that don't taste that good. There's
- 44:28Speaker 4: something just basically like you gotta put a little bit
- 44:30Speaker 4: a hen of a gave, sir, Yeah, you gotta have
- 44:32Speaker 4: a little gave.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I like a lime and an orange as well.
- 44:35Speaker 5: Oh, I usually just do lime. Yeah, a good plenty
- 44:38Speaker 5: of lime.
- 44:39Speaker 4: A good piloma is delicious as well. Yeah, but if
- 44:42Speaker 4: you have some nice, some good tequila, if you run
- 44:45Speaker 4: into that every now and then, it's just a little
- 44:47Speaker 4: bit of ice, yeah, and an orange slice. Okay, it's
- 44:52Speaker 4: pretty decent.
- 44:53Speaker 5: But also, like a good ranch water has to be
- 44:55Speaker 5: made with Topo Chico. Yeah, like soda Water's fine, but
- 45:01Speaker 5: topo is like the to me, the preferred the o
- 45:04Speaker 5: g Yeah, or ranch.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Water, right, that's such a Texas thing, Like I didn't
- 45:08Speaker 3: really start drinking the ranch waters. And still some of
- 45:11Speaker 3: the guys I do business with come over from the Houston.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Area and yeah, yeah has so I go to be mailbag.
- 45:17Speaker 2: What's your favorite Tarantina movie?
- 45:19Speaker 5: That's a great question question. I am tied up between three,
- 45:24Speaker 5: and they've always been my favorite. So like I think
- 45:27Speaker 5: pulp fiction is my favorite, but like one as pulp
- 45:30Speaker 5: fiction one be Inglorious Bastards. One c is kill Bill.
- 45:37Speaker 2: And Glorious Bastards for sure.
- 45:39Speaker 5: I love that.
- 45:41Speaker 4: I like the all the two kill Bill movies. All right,
- 45:44Speaker 4: let's go like a little old little bit more old
- 45:46Speaker 4: school from Dusk Still Dawn. Oh that is well vampire
- 45:49Speaker 4: movie Selma yak.
- 45:52Speaker 5: Yeah, she looks great. Well, I mean she looks great
- 45:54Speaker 5: all the time.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Richie trying to make sure it's Fear and Loathing one.
- 45:59Speaker 5: Of his in Las Vegas.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I think so was Sin City one. No,
- 46:05Speaker 2: he only has like eight pulp fiction. Yeah, this is
- 46:09Speaker 2: a fiction and were watching glorious bastards. I think we did.
- 46:14Speaker 2: We did.
- 46:15Speaker 3: That was a team movie. We saw some wild movies.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Did you know that George Cloning killing some vampires at
- 46:24Speaker 3: a gentleman's club.
- 46:25Speaker 4: Pretty good in Mexico. All right, we're closing up our
- 46:28Speaker 4: number two. Stick with us. We're our number three right
- 46:30Speaker 4: here and off the.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Bench, off the bench.

- 46:35Speaker 3: get your menu ready for the weekend. What you're gonna
- 46:38Speaker 3: cook reckless lunch, dinner all weekend? And go to the

- 46:45Speaker 3: store in the entire country.
- 46:47Speaker 2: It's Ralses. Rouses. Your logo Rouses started hit.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Right here obviously in Louisiana, but you can get it
- 46:51Speaker 4: all over the Gulf South. My god, when we when
- 46:55Speaker 4: we go there, we did our remotes there last year.
- 46:57Speaker 4: You came and did a remote with us at Rouses
- 46:59Speaker 4: like I was getting the st from Rosses. Yeah nice.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Like I was there at six fifteen, six thirty in
- 47:03Speaker 4: the morning. There's like forty people working there getting everything
- 47:06Speaker 4: ready for you. Getting ready, Yeah, getting the breaklast farm,
- 47:10Speaker 4: My got that guy making the sushi. My guy over
- 47:12Speaker 4: there was rolling that sushi fresh every single day. So
- 47:15Speaker 4: if you are looking for the best groceries, the best selection,
