- 1:04Speaker 2: I'm so excited for this conversation, you know this is what I like about connections.
- 1:09Speaker 1: I'm really big on connections.
- 1:11Speaker 1: So I met Raina at Michelle Tufford's Facebook group and she has these Tuesdays.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I go to the one in the afternoon where she opens up and we network right, raina, and we're like we're in this big group you know how you do Zoom.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden she shuffles the cards and boom, we get one-on-one.
- 1:31Speaker 1: And when I got one-on-one with Raina, the first thing I thought is whoa, this is a story of transformation around money.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Oh, I got to have her on.
- 1:40Speaker 1: She's known as the fun money coach.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So, raina, welcome again.
- 1:43Speaker 1: So excited to have her on.
- 1:43Speaker 1: She's known as the fun money coach.
- 1:44Speaker 1: So, reina, welcome again.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So excited to have you here.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:49Speaker 2: So let me explain my story so that you understand where I come from.
- 1:54Speaker 2: So I'm from a beautiful island called Tahiti, but I'm now currently talking to you from New Zealand.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And when I moved to New Zealand, my husband and I had serious financial challenges, because his income wasn't enough to support the two of us and as a foreigner, it's hard to get a job.
- 2:15Speaker 2: So I waited probably about six, eight months, and then we needed to pay the bills just to eat.
- 2:22Speaker 2: We couldn't even furnish our empty apartment.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so I cleaned toilets, I sorted mails at night when my background is in economic and accounting and I was working before I moved to New Zealand in a beautiful luxury cruise ship as the activity manager and the guest relation.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So, from that to then cleaning toilets.
- 2:46Speaker 2: That was a big shock to the system.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah, in that season, the lord really taught me faithfulness, how to be faithful with the little things that I had in my life and how to learn to steward what I had, even if it was very little.
- 3:08Speaker 2: That was the key things that I learned while I was struggling financially.
- 3:12Speaker 2: But thanks to his wisdom, his provision, I created frameworks that helped me and my husband pay off $250,000 of debt in five years and then save over six figures and, praise to the Lord, now we are mortgage free since 2018.
- 3:32Speaker 2: But the funny thing is that after we reached those goals, I was still stuck in a very strong scarcity mindset.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I still believe I couldn't afford anything or I couldn't invest here or there.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It was driving me crazy because I was like I reached my goal.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Why am I still stuck there?
- 3:51Speaker 2: And this is where I realized having more money doesn't change the way you think or feel about it, and this is where the transformation really needed to happen when it comes to my relationship with money.
- 4:04Speaker 2: So I had to dig deep and this is where you needed and me to shift my money mindset and understand what was all of those limiting beliefs, those automatic, I can't afford it, or spending habits that wasn't serving me now that I had much more money than before.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So that's why now I'm on a mission to help others like me transform their relationship with money.
- 4:30Speaker 2: First, understand that God is the master and we are stewards of the resources he has given us, and we need to use all the resources for his glory.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So good.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So there's so many things we can unpack here.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I mean, just in that little description.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Let's go with first, being faithful with the small.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Some people they think, well, all I have is and it's the small amount, but despise not.
- 5:00Speaker 1: What does it say?
- 5:01Speaker 1: Small beginnings.
- 5:02Speaker 1: So what was your emotions as you were?
- 5:05Speaker 1: Did God just let you know, hey, you were here, but now you're here, be faithful.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Did he, like just you just knew that you knew you had to be faithful with the small?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Or did it just come through obeying God with what you had?
- 5:18Speaker 2: It was obedience.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Hmm, and a really real understanding that I don't.
- 5:32Speaker 2: How do I explain it?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Every time I was feeling like why don't I have X?
- 5:35Speaker 2: When I was focusing on what I didn't have, he will always bring me back to the cross, which will remind me of what somebody else suffer in order for me to even have the chance to be talking to my father, and that humbled me to realize all that I have a lot or not a lot is a blessing.
- 5:57Speaker 2: And with that mindset I was able to walk each and every day and understand all right and looking at his blessing, because we often in this society focus only on the money, how much we have in our bank account, but the Lord is there each step of the way and he's showing you his hand of favor in so many different ways, but we are so focused on what we don't have that we don't see him in the midst of the story, in the storm, right there with us.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, when you said mindset so often the number one thing that is out of whack is our belief system, and I realize as though I continue to align my mind with what God says the belief system, it kind of brings transformation in the lack I've been in lack.
- 6:49Speaker 1: My husband passed and I was left homeless.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So what God always told me is like, do the next thing, even if the next thing is not really what you want to do, like you cleaning toilets, and so I did the next thing, which was substituting, but I still needed the transformation, the renewal of the mind.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So when, coach, when you get clients and they're stuck in that can I just say it Religious mindset, either money's not good, I don't need money, or I just barely have enough to pay bills.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Where am I supposed to?
- 7:22Speaker 1: Where, coach, funny, coach rain, am I supposed to?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Where, coach, funny, coach Rain, am I supposed to find money?
- 7:26Speaker 1: How do you kind of, just briefly, how do you walk them off the ledge of their emotions that feel like I don't have anything?
- 7:34Speaker 1: How do you kind of walk them through that?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Very, very good question.
- 7:38Speaker 2: First, I want to just quickly give you there's four different money mindset that I have noticed with female entrepreneur entrepreneur.
- 7:45Speaker 2: The first one is the one you talked about is the poverty money mindset.
- 7:49Speaker 2: This is that strong fear that money is bad or money may corrupt me.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Then you have scarcity money mindset, that constant I don't have enough, there will never be enough.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And then you have the greedy money mindset and, as a christian female entrepreneur who love god, it shows up as I need to achieve more in order to be accepted or to be loved or to to be part of, you know, the highest elite in the society.
- 8:16Speaker 2: So that's all about status.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Even though you love your father in heaven, you still feel that need to belong to a higher status for others, to kind of give you the applause.
- 8:26Speaker 2: So those three mindset is what I work to help you shift and cultivate.
- 8:32Speaker 2: The fourth mindset, which is a stewardship money mindset, when you truly understand that God owns everything yes and that you're here to serving to serve him sorry and steward the resources that he has given you.
- 8:46Speaker 2: So you see money now as a tool, not a treasure.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah, as a tool.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I love that.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You know that first mindset and if you're trying to serve them, they just don't want to.
- 9:00Speaker 1: They have a.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's almost I think I don't know if you called it a poverty too, or if that was number two, but it's almost like.
- 9:07Speaker 1: No, you need to give it to me for free.
- 9:10Speaker 1: You know that kind of free thing.
- 9:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 9:12Speaker 1: The marketplace pays for value and you got value is your skill, so you deserve the.
- 9:19Speaker 1: What is it?
- 9:20Speaker 1: The?
- 9:20Speaker 1: The way the is worthy of his wages, of his wages, yes.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So there's a transformation, though that has to happen at the very beginning.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So where is the beginning?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Regardless of what stage?
- 9:34Speaker 1: Where is the beginning.
- 9:37Speaker 2: The beginning always starts with God.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Like I had a client we started like two weeks ago and she had a really strong poverty mindset.
- 9:47Speaker 2: She kept telling me success is not for me.
- 9:49Speaker 2: God has other plans for others, but not for me.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And she had such a wrong view of God she was all of the way she was seeing her parents, her mom.
- 10:00Speaker 2: She kind of boxed God into the same space, limiting his sovereignty, if I can say Okay.
- 10:07Speaker 2: But then we looked at firm foundation, which is understanding the trick of the enemy.
- 10:13Speaker 2: So how does the enemy is actually attacking your mind, yeah, and then understanding what is the gospel, what is the armor of God, how do you win the spiritual battle?
- 10:25Speaker 2: So the first thing we do is really anchoring ourselves in our identity in christ and knowing that we are already victorious in him.
- 10:33Speaker 2: But the enemy will make you feel like, no, you can't succeed.
- 10:38Speaker 2: No, you don't have a plan that will help so many people and bring glory to god.
- 10:43Speaker 2: No, no, you can never do X, y and Z.
- 10:45Speaker 2: There's so many limitations that the enemy will use against us, especially when we try to work boldly for the kingdom.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I think it's safe to say over the years that making money is spiritual warfare.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because imagine when I help a Christian female entrepreneur who stopped believing that money is bad, stopped as soon as money comes into her bank account.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Even though she's successful, she's overspending because she's so scared of having it.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Imagine changing that and make her realize actually you are a steward.
- 11:21Speaker 2: The money you have you can use it for good, right.
- 11:24Speaker 2: So why don't we change the money you have?
- 11:28Speaker 2: You can use it for good, right.
- 11:29Speaker 2: So what?
- 11:29Speaker 2: We were?
- 11:29Speaker 2: To change the way you have of money and create a fun money routine that will allow you to not only have fun with the way you manage it, but also be a blessing in your family but in the kingdom.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Think of all the people you could help.
- 11:42Speaker 2: For some they really have a strong desire to have children who don't have any food.
- 11:48Speaker 2: For me, it's the the children that are abused sexually, so I like to finance those things.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is when they realize the vision and how we can, through our business, proclaim the gospel and also show people who our Father is, how much we are loved because of what he has done.
- 12:12Speaker 2: It can transform the whole way you see money.
- 12:15Speaker 2: So I hope that answered your question.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yes, it did.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And I think what you're saying in that beginning point is you've got to have your identity taken care of, because your identity could be jacked off, jacked off and you can make all the money but you won't be able to keep that money.
- 12:33Speaker 1: It'll go right at your tail because you haven't been, you haven't learned.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Your identity is not based on your money.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I see people I've seen people that their identity wasn't able to handle the money they did get.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So it's like it works two ways.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I got to ask you a question because this is from personal experience.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Quite a number of years ago my husband was out of work, so we weren't getting the money we were used to, and I caught myself.
- 13:00Speaker 1: You can judge people who have money.
- 13:04Speaker 1: So this is how I caught myself.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I was going to Walmart with my daughter and basically all I had money for was for milk and something else, and I remember looking around the store thinking where are they getting all their money?
- 13:16Speaker 1: You know, I mean we didn't believe on living on food stamps.
- 13:19Speaker 1: We probably could have had food stamps, but I had, like, a judgment and I did realize I had a judgment.
- 13:25Speaker 1: And now, years later, every time I go to Walmart.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, thank you, god, I have money, you've more than enough, I work, I have provision.
- 13:34Speaker 1: But that judgment and I think that maybe goes with people who think you're a Christian, you don't need all that money, but that judgment can come back and slap you in the face and really leave you stuck in that first or second stage.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Am I not correct on that?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yes, you're totally correct, and I want you to also know that on your journey with your finance, you will be triggered, and that's normal.
- 14:01Speaker 2: We are still in the process of being free from sin because what you're telling me is a sin with.
- 14:09Speaker 2: We want to be sanctified and have the fruit of the spirit.
- 14:12Speaker 2: But the enemy knows that he can attack us in so many different ways, in the way we think and in the way we behave.
- 14:18Speaker 2: So he will push our button because he know each, he know your weakness.
- 14:24Speaker 2: He, yeah, you know.
- 14:26Speaker 2: But in those moments when you catch yourself judging, it's really good to have a tactic to bring yourself back to.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Oh sorry Lord, this is not the way you will be acting.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Forgive me for this and renew my mind.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I really was in the in the place of abuse too, so that that I knew what I was doing was wrong.
- 14:52Speaker 1: But sometimes you I'm just giving grace Sometimes you're in the midst of so much abuse or you're walking through something that it might slow you down.
- 15:00Speaker 1: So now I want to tell you about something that's being very vulnerable.
- 15:03Speaker 1: My husband left me homeless and I was starting to build myself back up and I remember I was in a webinar.
- 15:12Speaker 1: If I said the guy's name, you'd know him and I was watching it.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Every time they introduced someone and she's a six figure, I would get triggered.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Oh, she's a seven figure.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And I thought to myself, if I hear that one more time, because, see, it made me feel like I'm not enough.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm not a six figure earner or seven.
- 15:31Speaker 1: And the only thing that broke through was the last day they introduced a seven figure woman.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But she happened to be a Christian, so she could.
- 15:40Speaker 1: She happened to believe in Jesus, so I kind of got relief.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm no longer triggered by that, but I can remember that's a trigger for status.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I'll be, you know, I'll be as honest as the next person.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You kind of want a little status, six figure.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But I know the real six figure people.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They don't tell people they're a six figure.
- 16:00Speaker 1: The others who are six figures.
- 16:02Speaker 1: It may be a little cheating.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Like'm glad you touched on that, because I think a lot of people can feel like they're in the trap, that they're not a six figure.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Okay, you're not a six figure.
- 16:13Speaker 1: That doesn't mean you can't act like a six figure person and carry on with financial literacy and use your money wisely.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So you just kind of brought up some memories.
- 16:24Speaker 1: So I'm all about transform, transformation and I know you're all about transformation.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So let's, let's go to the step of someone's listening reina, coach reina, and they're in some debt that they just can't seem to get out.
- 16:44Speaker 1: It's credit card debt.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm just in my mind thinking of someone.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I mean mindset.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm not thinking of a particular person, although I could.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It's not me, but they don't know how in the heck, with the limited, what they come in, what comes in.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Now I know I have an answer.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I'll say hey, listen, let me help you with digital marketing.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Let's do something on the side that you can make extra money to compensate.
- 17:13Speaker 1: But I would rather someone speak to them from the professional area of let's give you steps to get out of debt.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I mean, they can do both.
- 17:24Speaker 1: They can work a digital marketing company and they can make the steps.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So what would be some of the beginning steps?
- 17:30Speaker 1: I've got credit card debt.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It keeps going up and up.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Help me out, coach Reina.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Very good question.
- 17:38Speaker 2: So the first thing I would tell them to do is forgiveness first, Because if there's so much emotional load every time they look at the debt, they will not be able to take any step in the right and positive way.
- 17:51Speaker 2: So, what they need to do is either forgive themselves, because if they are the one that accrued the debt, or forgive the person who has caused the debt to happen.
- 18:00Speaker 2: You know, so it goes both ways.
- 18:03Speaker 2: It goes both ways.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So once we identify the who and what happened, we understand the triggers, because the things with when we have debt, there's no point creating a plan to try to get out of it if you haven't understood first why you got in the debt in the first place.
- 18:20Speaker 2: So we need to first identify also what was the habit or the thought pattern that caused that debt to happen.
- 18:28Speaker 2: So you have forgiveness and then you have understanding your mindset.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Once you do that, we need to realize that to pay off debt, we need to have cash available in order to redirect towards that debt.
- 18:41Speaker 2: You have mentioned increased income, which is very important.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Right, looking at having more income so you have more cash available to help you do this.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But the other things I want you to be honest with yourself is are you living a lifestyle that your income cannot afford currently?
- 19:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's a very big wake-up call.
- 19:03Speaker 2: But we need to be honest because often, when we look at our numbers, we're going to be looking at what I call the essentials expenses, which would be your rent, you know, groceries, transport, your insurances, and this is where you got to look when you take your income.
- 19:22Speaker 2: What is the percentage that your essential income?
- 19:31Speaker 2: What is the percentage that your essential expenses cover?
- 19:32Speaker 2: Is it like 50% or 60%, which would be the right kind of range, or are you over 80% of your income already?
- 19:37Speaker 2: The reason why you can't do and put money toward your debt is because you don't have, as I say, enough cash flow.
- 19:43Speaker 2: But the first thing you can look and try to eliminate is those big you know the house, mortgage, the rent, are you?
- 19:51Speaker 2: Often we buy something that is too big for the current income that we have, and that's all come back to status.
- 19:59Speaker 2: We need that beautiful house, but do you really need that?
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and can you afford it?
- 20:06Speaker 2: Wow.
- 20:07Speaker 2: So this is a huge wake-up call that we sometimes need to have.
- 20:12Speaker 2: And the first way you're going to transform your relationship with money is by being honest with yourself.
- 20:17Speaker 2: There's no point being in denial or thinking, no, I'm going to be fine, so good, it's not going to work.
- 20:24Speaker 2: So I repeat first you forgive yourself.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Two, you try to identify the reason behind why the debt is here in the first place, and then you need to dive deeper into your numbers and see what can you remove.
- 20:37Speaker 2: And I want you to think about it for this season of my life.
- 20:41Speaker 2: It's not for a long time.
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's just temporary, so it will help you be motivated because you don't feel like what I'm going to have to take off all of this.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I don't want to live that life.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'm not asking you to live that life.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I'm asking you to do that, to have that sacrifice for a shorter amount of time so that you can live the life you always dream to live, without the stress of debt.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Wow, that's so good without the stress of debt.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Wow, that's so good when you said forgive yourself.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm in a financial wealth foundations with Kingdom Alliance class and I couldn't make the class but I was listening live on my phone, on my headphone, because I was going for a walk.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I had to go to doctor's office and she was open this particular session up with.
- 21:27Speaker 1: You might need to forgive the person who abused the money and my husband, really.
- 21:35Speaker 1: He had some gambling problems Every day.
- 21:37Speaker 1: He had to buy a lottery ticket and I'm like, yeah, you're right, I got to forgive him.
- 21:41Speaker 1: So I'm walking around and she's saying forgive.
- 21:43Speaker 1: And then she said, and pray a blessing on him Well, was, he's passed.
- 21:47Speaker 1: So I was praying a blessing on his three children and my two children.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I no sooner forgave and my phone beeped and I looked at it and I made a sale.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I made a sale on my program, mastering online prophets, and I said, god, are you putting an explanation on that?
- 22:05Speaker 1: That I thought I'd forgiven all the other areas but I hadn't forgiven him.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Now I understand some of you got to forgive yourself too.
- 22:13Speaker 1: That's really good.
- 22:14Speaker 1: But so you just blessed me when you said sometimes people just need just forgive yourself, say God, I blew it.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Now I want to take these next few steps that Coach Rain is talking about and really start to make an effort.
- 22:29Speaker 1: It's just so fun when you walk in God's ways.
- 22:35Speaker 1: So I had a question and it went through my mind, so I was just so excited about the forgiveness.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I'm not in debt.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Okay, mom, this is, I remember what I'm going to ask you.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I believe heavily investing in yourself.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Sometimes I put that on my credit card, but it's not consumer debt.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Sometimes I pay it right off and sometimes I let it sit there.
- 23:02Speaker 1: So I'm about to go to a major conference that's just a retreat in January, and I'm thinking, you know, I want to pay that off before I, you know, go there.
- 23:13Speaker 1: And this is what hit me.
- 23:15Speaker 1: I was looking through my numbers, just looking which I need to do more consistently, and I realized, oh, I was ordering Uber food because I didn't want to cook that night.
- 23:27Speaker 1: So I started to add up and so I live in like an apartment inside a house and I have one of the housemates just loves to cook and I just said to him I kind of laid the law down, because it always went through my card, which went through my credit card, I said not going to be doing Uber Eats, even if I have to eat peanut butter or a sandwich or a tuna sandwich.
- 23:46Speaker 1: But see, that's just.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I want to be faithful.
- 23:51Speaker 1: So it might be something that you just think, well, I got to eat, so I'm going to order out.
- 23:54Speaker 1: But I'm not saying, you know, you got to live in the desert and barely eat anything, because, like Coach Raina said, once you get out of it you can kind of have fun with it, you can enjoy it and you can steward it.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But that's just another example of be aware I'm saying this to myself be aware of where your money's going.
- 24:17Speaker 1: And now that it's at the end of the year and I'm feeling like, oh, I need to, I need to just because tax season's coming.
- 24:20Speaker 1: So I know, I don't know, I, I did really good for the first three months and now I'm like, oh gosh, I to spend the whole day doing this.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so let me just share something very quickly.
- 24:32Speaker 2: When I talked about that and how to make things fun because that's that's everything that I am known for butter sandwich and things like that when we had to to.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So when we decided, okay, we're gonna tackle that debt and we're gonna be 100 all in.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Okay, we had to sometime eat a cane of tuna with rice.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Okay, because we couldn't afford any other things.
- 25:03Speaker 2: When you look at your finance, you look where the money was going.
- 25:05Speaker 2: There were not much room right for us to move with.
- 25:09Speaker 2: But you know what I do to make that tuna cane and rice special.
- 25:15Speaker 2: You need to be creative.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I will be serving that in my nicest plate.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I will make it like it was a dish from the restaurant.
- 25:25Speaker 2: You know, when you put the rice inside the the cup and then you turn it upside down, I will put some nice little herbs on top of the tuna or something, and then what I will do is that I will create a picnic in the lounge.
- 25:38Speaker 2: So we're going to have the coffee table, there will be pillows on the floor, I will put some nice music in the background, I will put the plate.
- 25:45Speaker 2: That is just tuna and rice with the vegetable and then we're going to eat that.
- 25:50Speaker 2: But the key things for us to have fun is that.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I will ask my husband so what will you do the first time we have just finished paying off our debt and now that $1,000 is coming back to our account not to the bank what would be the first thing you would like to do with that money?
- 26:07Speaker 2: To make us start dreaming of what life will be in the future was always the way to get us excited and understand the reason why we were doing all the things we were doing in this season, because that's the things we wanted more further down the track.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So you can make things fun.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It's just looking outside the box and being creative in the process, but also being grateful with what you have, because I have been helping kids after work who had no phone for the whole day.
- 26:43Speaker 2: It was 4 30.
- 26:44Speaker 2: They will come running with no shoes, wanting a hot soup and some bread, and I will put them in a line and tell them you're going to have one bowl of soup, you're going to have the bread, and then you take the dessert and when you finish and you want some more, you come back.
- 26:58Speaker 2: But while I was serving I could see some stealing the bread to put them in their pocket.
- 27:04Speaker 2: They were so hungry.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so because of what I've seen, and when I know that I have rice and tuna, I still feel that this is a blessing because somebody else didn't have it.
- 27:17Speaker 2: So that's what I mean by really focusing on the little bit that you have.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so good.
- 27:23Speaker 2: That will transform your mind.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Gratitude will help you every step of the way.
- 27:28Speaker 2: And praise the biggest things the enemy will stop.
- 27:31Speaker 2: You do, and I see, sit with my clients when things is not working well, when life picking too hard, business is not striving, oh, I don't have time to pray or I need to do all of those things.
- 27:43Speaker 2: My to-do list is so big.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I said that's no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yeah, your time in the business doesn't matter if you don't have the right relationship with God.
- 27:53Speaker 2: So you go back to him, you quiet yourself and you praise him in the journey.
- 28:00Speaker 2: He deserves praise that you have money or not, because of who he is and what he has done for you on the cross.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So praise and gratitude will transform everything for you.
- 28:11Speaker 2: If it's the only thing you can remember today, that's what I would like you to remember.
- 28:14Speaker 1: We're going into a week, next week, of Thanksgiving here in America.
- 28:18Speaker 1: But if you understand the neuroplasticity advantage of thanking God because it actually activates neurons in your brain and even if you look up and thank God, something happened.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You said God just knew we needed to thank him or be grateful, because it literally shifts things and you can turn a bad day into a good day.
- 28:40Speaker 1: You can turn from wanting to commit suicide to I'm just going to lift up and then boom, those neurons come in.
- 28:47Speaker 1: God arranged our brain to love the health of being able to give, give, thanks.
- 28:54Speaker 1: It doesn't have to be a thanksgiving weekend and I think the more I lift my heads up, the more I thank him, the more it actually opens my eyes more to do, to do well in my business.
- 29:06Speaker 1: So the money will come in, so, anyway.
- 29:09Speaker 1: So I got one more last question, because it's definitely a mindset.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Yes, let's say someone, it has to do with earning money.
- 29:20Speaker 1: It has to do with that.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Okay, I really want to make more money.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I know I'm able.
- 29:27Speaker 1: But they've got a belief system that says they can't sell or they can't.
- 29:31Speaker 1: It's all negative because I said making money is warfare.
- 29:36Speaker 1: So if they're doing something extra, I like I'll just use my digital marketing, because I talk to a lot of people with digital marketing and I have a program that will teach them how to sell their products.
- 29:47Speaker 1: But they get in their mindset Well, yeah, not good enough.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I don't know if I could do that.
- 29:53Speaker 1: They could have all the mind, skill, skill, but the action and the believing.
- 29:57Speaker 1: And if we know in today people can tell if you're really trying to serve them or you got your credit card in the back of your mind I've got to sell, I got to sell.
- 30:06Speaker 1: You go into selling instead of attraction marketing.
- 30:09Speaker 1: But sometimes when I deal with certain clients, it's that mindset of stepping over and letting something unlock.
- 30:18Speaker 1: What would you say to someone?
- 30:21Speaker 2: So when it comes to that resistance in selling your product I see it with my clients there can be several things.
- 30:30Speaker 2: There could be a fear of money, and again it's all come back to the belief.
- 30:34Speaker 2: So if they believe that money will corrupt them or will make them less than a Christian, no matter what you're going to tell them, they will self-sabotage and it really it can be so unconscious.
- 30:48Speaker 2: The other side is when somebody have a strong scarcity mindset I've seen with my clients too they will start saying I can't sell that, nobody can afford it.
- 30:58Speaker 2: So they are projecting their situation onto the other person in front of them.
- 31:03Speaker 2: They don't know what is their finance really, but they're thinking because I can't pay a thousand dollar a month to be coached, they can't do that either, right?
- 31:13Speaker 2: so I should not be asking them for that price.
- 31:16Speaker 2: So their own belief that they can't afford something is then projected onto their potential clients will, which make them feel like less than.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Oh, I can't do this.
- 31:25Speaker 2: It's so bad or the worst that I I hear, with a scarcity mindset, I'm taking money from my clients and then they feel guilty.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Of course you feel guilty if you think that because of you, they can't buy the food for their kids.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Wow, so when I work with my clients, they have gone through so many marketing courses, they have gone and worked with so many coaches, but they can't implement.
- 31:52Speaker 2: And the reason why is because of their money blocks, because of their relationship with money.
- 31:57Speaker 2: That's why I'm so passionate about what I do, because you can't do what Cole is calling you to do if you're stuck in your head.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Wow, yes, wow.
- 32:06Speaker 2: So for that person, sorry that need help.
- 32:10Speaker 2: They need to understand what is.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Again.
- 32:12Speaker 2: We come back to the mindset.
- 32:14Speaker 2: What is the soul that is stopping you from taking action?
- 32:17Speaker 2: Is it a fear of money or is it believing that nobody can afford it?
- 32:22Speaker 2: Because there will be different strategies depending on where you're stuck.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I had a friend who was starting a business and she had a mentor and in her mind she's like wait a minute, can they?
- 32:34Speaker 1: And the coach was telling her what to price her services.
- 32:37Speaker 1: And she kind of got, oh, and the coach was wise, she goes, listen, if they want it, bad enough.
- 32:44Speaker 1: One, they'll buy it.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Two, they're spending their money on purses that cost that much.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Three, if someone really is desperate, they're going to find a way because you have something that is of service, of value.
- 32:55Speaker 1: So if you would switch that around to oh, I don't want to take their money, but if you switch it around to like, this is value, I'm going to teach you how to fish.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I'm not going to.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I'm going to teach you how to fish so you can fish and have money, you know to maybe even drop the job.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I see that with like, I know you have a lot of people who are either they're in digital marketing or they're trying to sell their course or their coaching program.
- 33:20Speaker 1: So I'm so thankful that we have someone like you who understands that and is able to speak to it, because, as I listen to you, you're giving me little.
- 33:29Speaker 1: You know little hints.
- 33:32Speaker 1: What's behind it really Is it?
- 33:34Speaker 1: And then, when it comes to the learning, the technical, and you say it's not really that technical, there's still that technical link to the finances.
- 33:43Speaker 1: So that's, and you know what.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I think you can price something and you're thinking I just got to, I got to make it so they can afford it, but you're giving way too much value for a lower price.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Like I said, they'll find a way to get it.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Or they'll be desperate enough or they're not meant to be your client, because we can only serve those that God brings us and I'm sure, with you, you've got to have people that are willing to learn, listen and go back to the basis, go back to their identity, and some are very mean.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Because I'm a Christian, some would be very mean to me.
- 34:19Speaker 2: How dare you charge that much money?
- 34:22Speaker 2: You're a Christian, you shouldn't be charging this, you see.
- 34:25Speaker 2: So I'm like how do you think I pay for my own bills?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I hate that, do you?
- 34:30Speaker 2: believe the service that I'm giving you is not valuable, then you.
- 34:35Speaker 2: So there's a lot of warfare that will be warfare, because we are not fighting against flesh and blood.
- 34:41Speaker 2: When they see stuff like that, I'm I'm feeling sad for them because I know it's because of their own money story, it's because of how they see money and they need so much more help than the person who come and see me.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and I really want to have help, you see.
- 34:55Speaker 2: So what I love with what I do, and what I love what you also explain, is when you look at your product, I want you to see OK, that's the transformation, but what is the ripple effect?
- 35:07Speaker 2: So, to give you an example, I help my clients transform their relationship with money, but the ripple effect on that is that they will be able to earn more, sell their product confidently, they will be able to have money in their bank account without feeling like they need to spend it because they need less, and they will be able to look at their finance with that guilt or shame.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but the key to that, too, is that now they become better stewards, which means that in their household they can transfer, they can give that value to their kids and their kids get affected by that.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Because the kids money story is the way you currently behave, yeah, and the way you speak about money.
- 35:47Speaker 2: So what I'm doing is helping the person.
- 35:50Speaker 2: That is right there, but it's also helping the next generation and the way they see money all together, so that's a beautiful ripple effect.
- 35:57Speaker 2: So the next time you start struggling about, oh, I'm asking too much or I shouldn't be doing that, think further.
- 36:04Speaker 2: That's the first thing that they get by working with you, but what else will be transformed because of what you have taught them?
- 36:12Speaker 2: There's so much value with coaching and that's why I love what I do and I'm always so excited to help somebody who wants to be helped.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Because you need to be coachable, because I'm going to ask you a question that you may not like, but you need to be real with yourself, yeah, I like how you said it impacts others, like I've been in coaching for my mind for getting over trauma, but my healing affects my kids.
- 36:39Speaker 1: They see me coming out of some really low stuff, so that's really cool.
- 36:42Speaker 1: And David Green, who's the founder of Hobby Lobby I always like what he said about leaving legacy.
- 36:48Speaker 1: It's not like leaving a load of cash at the end of your life or business.
- 36:52Speaker 1: It's about like leaving a load of cash at the end of your business.
- 36:56Speaker 1: It's about joy, character and generosity.
- 37:02Speaker 1: So, yeah, you got to have character to have joy.
- 37:03Speaker 1: It's about joy and, yeah, generosity the two combined.
- 37:04Speaker 1: You're not giving, you're not keeping it all and then they'll have it when they're done.
- 37:07Speaker 1: No, leave them along as you go.
- 37:10Speaker 1: So if someone wants to get in touch with you, I'll put in the show notes too, but what would be the quickest way to get in touch with you, coach?
- 37:18Speaker 2: Raina, so I love to be on Instagram and my handle is ChristianMoneyMindset.
- 37:24Speaker 2: If you want to have a coach in your ears.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I have a podcast called Fun Money Habits, nice and that I talk all about money mindset, stewardship, how, how to understand the Bible so that you can start renewing your mind with the word of God.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Okay, and if you want to work with me, I do 90 days um mentorship where we looked at the mindset and also can dive deeper into the numbers so we can create a plan to save more.
- 37:53Speaker 2: But the first thing you got to do is first transform your relationship with money.
- 37:58Speaker 2: And yeah, and I have a program available right now talking about this um where it's going to be.
- 38:03Speaker 2: It was supposed to be a course seven module by itself with add-on to one-on-one, but we're doing something super special.
- 38:11Speaker 2: We're adding seven group coaching call to it and the price is absolutely crazy.
- 38:16Speaker 2: My coach say let's just do it this for the first round and I all right.
- 38:20Speaker 2: So it's starting in january based on sell now and it's just a treat.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Going through this will transform your life yeah, and, and the group you're like studying as a group too Is that what you said?
- 38:34Speaker 2: Yes, so you have the course and then you will have hot coach Coaching.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Sorry To go through the course as well.
- 38:42Speaker 2: So when you ask a question, for example, and start looking at your network, you may panic because like, oh, there's too many numbers you can get coached.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Why am I feeling so guilty of looking at my number?
- 38:55Speaker 2: Or you know, somebody else could come and say I can't sell.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I really want to but I can't.
- 39:00Speaker 2: So there's so many different things like this that I'll be helping inside that program If the person is okay to be in a group.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Otherwise my 90-day program will be perfect for you as well.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Well, you sound like the easiest way is Instagram, because we're just a voice.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Instagram always.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Well, I so enjoyed you and those of you listening to the Stuck no More podcast.
- 39:22Speaker 1: This is brought to you by Mastering Online Profits Stuck no More.

- 39:32Speaker 1: So we appreciate you If you enjoyed this.
- 39:35Speaker 1: This was really transformative.
- 39:36Speaker 1: This was like powerful guys.
- 39:38Speaker 1: You could listen to this again and get some nuggets.
- 39:41Speaker 1: But, as always, share with a friend, write a review.
- 39:44Speaker 1: We need your support to continue with podcasts like this, more people understanding that money can be fun.
