- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Hey, welcome to Trap Souls Podcast.
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: I'm with Zach and Bill from Alone in the Dark out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: How's everybody doing out in Pittsburgh?
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: What's going on, everybody?
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: How's everybody doing?
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: Thanksgiving Eve.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: Thanksgiving Eve.
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: I mean, you're from Pittsburgh.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: I'm from Cleveland.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: I mean.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, see, I don't know.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: If I'd have known that, I don't know if I'd have been able to attend then, but you know, Baltimore.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: You're just gonna beat me anyway, so don't matter.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: No, I will comment.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: I actually love the city of Cleveland.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Every time I'm up there, there's always something to experience, something to do.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Great food.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's definitely worth going up there, you know, with the food and the attractions.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I think every like I guess you want to call it like old city.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: I mean, Cleveland and Pittsburgh are older cities, steel cities.
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: Like they have always something like history, you know, the food, different nationality, food-wise.
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: It's always great to visit all the cities.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: You said you're from Baltimore, Bill.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: No, no, I said I'm just glad you're not from Baltimore.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: Right, yeah.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: I'm just kidding.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: I I like I like those cities.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Just it's it's a football thing, right?
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, if we're from Michigan, I'm gonna ask you on.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: So I am a Michigan fan.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: Are you?
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: I am a big weekend.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: It's a big weekend, yeah.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: What's up, Nacho?
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: Nacho's on right now.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: He's from Verona Ghost Chasers, another Pennsylvania group.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: What's up, Bobby?
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: Good to see you, man.
- 1:35SPEAKER_02: Let's talk about this.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: So I go through Facebook to see who I want on the podcast.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Usually I go and see if you guys are posting evidence or stuff that you do and just not asking for followers.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: That's how I decide who I want on my show.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: That makes sense.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we have 75% of the time are groups from Pittsburgh or Pennsylvania.
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: What's up with Pennsylvania and paranormal?
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, uh, some say we're what the the second most haunted state, sometimes the first.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Uh, I'm gonna argue that Ohio seems to be the first.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Bill and I and the the the rest of the team, we're always in Ohio.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: And uh, I think Bill, you get a little frustrated.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: You're over in the Monroville space, I'm over on the west side near the airport, and you're always like, What the heck?
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Why is all the ghosts over in the Ohio and not over my way?
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: But uh, I I think there's uh just such a high concentration of of spirits and you know the civil war over in in Gettysburg.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: And um you know, if you look at uh you know Johnston, Pennsylvania, where where I'm from, we had the 1889 flood, 36 flood, and the 70s flood.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean a lot of uh a lot of nasty natural disasters that uh you know probably some probably leave some restless souls out there, you know.
- 2:53SPEAKER_02: Right, yeah, natural disasters, regular disasters too, especially you can go to coal mining and all that.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: I mean, the rules and laws back then weren't that strict.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, a lot of coal disasters, especially Pennsylvania, West Virginia, a lot of tragedy.
- 3:07SPEAKER_02: I think more in Pennsylvania than Ohio, but right.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: I mean, the only tragedy we have are the Cleveland Browns.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: So that's right, that's right.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: But I I could say they're they're they're terrible.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: So um, but I am a uh Ohio State fan.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: I am from Ohio, so I'm allowed to be an Ohio State fan.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: It's when you cross over, I like I said earlier, I I uh before the call, I lived in Stevenville for a little bit, and it's right as you cross the Pennsylvania border, you get WVU pans, and then you cross another three miles and you're in Stevenville, and it's Ohio, you know, so it's Ohio State is is huge over there, and it's just a sea of red and or scarlet, and what's the other color that they scarlet and gray?
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, scarlet and gray.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a lot better than maize and blue, whatever.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Oh come come on now, come on now.
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: It's okay, right?
- 4:09SPEAKER_02: I've been to Michigan six times, the big house to watch games up there.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: It's it's great going up there.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: Uh, don't recommend wearing Ohio State shirt up there.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: 25 years ago, I went and not even thinking, had my Ohio State shirt on.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: That stuff thrown at me.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Oh bad.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Whatever Michigan, have you been to uh have you been to Louise Asylum?
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: No, I have not.
- 4:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, you gotta go.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: I heard about it.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: There's too many places, right?
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: That's the that's the issue.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's uh it's it's a it's a great experience over there.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Um, it's not the best neck of woods, um, but I'll tell you the people that run it are phenomenal and we've had a lot of good action over there.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: Uh one of shadow figures, uh about three or four levels to explore.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Um, it was a fairly quiet night.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: It wasn't uh the most poppin' night, but uh you know, as as Tim from Beaver County Paranormal always says, you know, it's like fishing.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Sometimes you can sit there and your fish are biting left and right, and sometimes it's it's just a quiet night, you know.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: So let's get into paranormal here.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: What got you guys into the paranormal?
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Bill, I'll let you start.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Uh so been investigating since around 2017-18, and I got hooked when I went on a public ghost hunt with uh team at the time.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: They were called Ghost Anat, and since then they just broke apart, I think, and they're they went their own separate ways.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: We went to um Castle Blood in Menessen PA.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And I didn't really honestly I didn't really know what to expect.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: I've always had um an interest in the paranormal fascination, you know, and and my uh beliefs growing up, you know, always thought that you know the spirits still continue to exist after you know the body passed away.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: So I was like, oh, what the hell?
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: We'll go to on a public hunt.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: Probably within like the first 30 minutes, they're like, oh, take pictures if you want.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Take pictures of three.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: And and I the the first set of pictures I took, lo and behold, it was like it looked like an old school undertaker behind somebody had the old like big top hat, had the like the cape that they would wear.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: And I'm looking and I was like, holy cow! I and then just that's all it took, and I was hooked from there.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And then after a couple years, I got Zach into the fold.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: And honestly, it it's it's been uh a wild ride ever since we've been to what probably a total of uh a hundred different investigations since we formed our team.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And how how long what I can't remember how long our teams have been around for.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So was it like two years before?
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: 2022, I think, is when we kicked it off.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Okay, so three years.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, but ever since then, and you know, gone on a hunting couple about a hundred investigations and and uh right, wrong or indifferent, thousands of dollars later invested in equipment, right?
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: To see whatever we can do to try to capture you know something in the afterlife.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: So it's been it's been a wild ride so far.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've I've always been fascinated with um Unsolved Mysteries as a kid, you know, the the paranormal episodes that would just scare the pants off you as a as a nine-year-old.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: And uh, I've always been into the horror movies and uh the more you know the darker side of that kind of thing.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: And I've always enjoyed paranormal stuff watching all the shows, and you know, like Bill mentioned, uh, he took us on a Ghostinat adventure, they're no longer here.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: I believe they're whispering souls at this point, but we went to Hillview Manor.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: That was our very my first and my wife's at Tammy's first public investigation.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, I was excited.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: We had our K2 meters, we had some cat balls, we had a digital recorder, and I remember in in Hillview Manor, there's there's yeah, there's two furnace rooms, uh boiler room downstairs and a boiler room upstairs on the main level, and that was Eli's boiler room.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: And we were down there.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Bill had a spirit box, I think it was an SB11 at the time, and where he's sweeping, and all of a sudden, uh over the boiler, all 10 of us heard a growl, a disembodied growl.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: We all jumped 10 feet in the air, and we all ran out of the boiler room.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: And I said, Bill, I'm hooked.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: Where do I buy this stuff from?
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, that's uh like Bill said, thousands of dollars uh later, and now we have pretty much everything under the sun, and you know, we're a full team at this point.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: So, how many is on your team then?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: We have seven, eight, seven exactly, yeah.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: So it's mostly family, and yeah, it's mostly my family.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: So myself, Tammy, uh our our kids Jessica and Ben, and then their significant others, Justin and uh Alina, and then Bill.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Yep, and me and my wife Carrie, we're representing uh the east side of Pittsburgh for uh alone in the dark.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: We're on the west side, right near the airport.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, but you know, it's primarily just uh the four of us.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: Uh the kids come when they can uh to help supplement some of the the bigger locations.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Uh but uh they're currently planning for a wedding, or Jessica and Justin are, so it's primarily just the four of us at this point, and uh we call it the core of four.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: No, it's hard when you have seven, eight people try to get everybody together on the same page.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: It's crazy, you know.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: Some of the teams that we we talk to, they're you know, 10 plus strong.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: I'm like I and for us, I I I like that we're such a smaller, such a small, I shouldn't say small team, but uh, you know, just since it's all family-based, right?
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: We're very tight-knit friends, and eventually, you know, we we all we've all become family.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: And it it it's a we always have a good time when we go on investigation.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: We try not to make things too serious.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I will say the first like one or two investigations that we did private as a team, me and Zach were real hardcore, like no laughing, be quiet.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: You were trying to do our, you know, you're stomping all over our audio.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: Quit be quiet.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: And now it's just it's just a a fun time, you know, going to all these different locations, getting to meet the different owners.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: And and I think what I've enjoyed personally is like talking to some other teams within the paranormal community, if you will.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: It's been a real pleasure getting to know uh a lot of the teams, you know, yourself included, um, and just as we go on our adventures and getting to know more people as we we travel around.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that's been probably the one of the most exciting things uh as of late is you know, we've been meeting a lot of other teams, like you know, Bobby's on the call right now with Verona Ghosts, uh Tim from Beaver County Paranormal.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: We have a sister team with Rochelle and Tiffany over at Future Ghost Paranormal.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: Uh, shout out to them if they're on right now.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: Hall of you with Matt with Matt.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, we're we're looking to plan a potential investigation with him, 27 Spirits.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: Like it's such an awesome community out there, and it's awesome to just bounce ideas off uh off each other and you know just have a laugh and you know see what they're up to and potentially collaborate to to bring some of these high-end places down to a more reasonable price price point, you know, where we can all investigate and split up and not stomp on each other's uh audio.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it was hard in the beginning when I mean my group started a little over a year ago.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: Um, I've been doing this like 20 years, just on and off.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: But when we started the group, I was like, okay, like there's some weird people in a paranormal world.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: So do I really want to collab with anybody?
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Do I want to take that chance?
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: So we try to stick together, and our my group was mainly based off giving people opportunity to investigate.
- 12:01SPEAKER_02: I'm right down the street from Madison Seminary, so we always took people there, did investigations that wanted to know what it was all about.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: But then as it was, I wanted to get more into it.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: My members were kind of like, Well, I don't have time, I got kids, family, work, you know, all good excuses for me.
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: So Bobby Nacho on from Verona, I was watching him on live, then we just started talking, and they invited me down and did an investigation with them.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: I'm like, this is kind of cool.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: So, like Al May Paranormal's there, 27 Spirits was there.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: And if I forgot anybody, sorry, but um, so I just started collabing with a whole bunch of other groups, and RC Paranormal just did DOS house with them for our second investigation together.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: And I tell you what, like you said, it's been awesome meeting everybody.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Another aspect of collabing is you can see other teams and how they operate.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: How do they do is discussions?
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: How do they use cat balls?
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: How do they use tripwires?
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: What you know, what are we doing differently than what they're doing?
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: And so you can you know pass tips and tricks on to each other.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: And you find that we all do a little bit everything a little bit differently, but you you eventually pick those tips and tricks up and adopt them.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: And uh, I think that's one of the coolest aspects is you think you know a lot from watching all these YouTube videos, and then you talk to Bobby or Deborah, and you're like, Wow, I've never thought about doing that with the cat ball, and you know it gives you so much more you know, fulfilling investigations, you know, when you break back into your your original team.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: Yep, yeah, and one thing that's great about too, like you said, equipment is expensive.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: So when you're collabing with people, they have a certain piece of equipment.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's for you, maybe it's not for you.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: But instead of going dump$400 and find it's not for you, it's nice to like, yeah, no, this isn't for me, so I'm gonna go buy some cat balls instead, you know.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: Right dollars.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, definitely a couple times people have even approached us, like we did our first paracon at the um was it Greenhouse, um, Green County Historical Society.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: Home Towns.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: And some people were approaching us and they're like, hey, you know, what what's what I want to get in get into this field, right?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Well, what's some good equipment to start with?
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: And honestly, we always tell them, cat balls, grab it, grab a digital recorder, and get like an SJ cam or you know, maybe even if you can afford, you know, maybe like a hundred or so dollars, get get um get a good um, you know, 4K video camera.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: You don't you don't need to be spending three, four, or five hundred dollars on a single piece of equipment putting that type of investment up front if it's something that you may not be you know totally vested in, right?
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Go to a couple public hunts, see what it's like if you like it and if you think it uh it's something that you want to pursue, then then go for it.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: But I I would not recommend anyone investing like$500,$1,000 up front to just you know go on a private hunt and be like, you know what, this isn't for me, and then having to try to sell it.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so speaking of equipment, you know, what we we've been you know excited to see what other teams have, and you know, we've procured that equipment over time.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: And you know, the Bill, what's your what's your what's the first thing we pull out of our uh out of our cases?
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Out of our arsenal?
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: I I would say, you know, that the latest version of the tripwire has been has produced fantastic results for us.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Not just because it gives an audible alert, but uh it I I can say with confidence the the quality that uh NCPD gives you.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Uh I think you froze.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: I think you froze, Bill, yeah.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: But yeah, NCPD's uh version two of their tripwire is phenomenal.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: Uh we picked it up at Paris Icon this year, and it you know, I wasn't expecting about it on a tripwire, and you know, we we walked up and they said we have it with sound now, and we've updated it where the colors that once they hit they come down slower, so you can actually see what color hit first.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: Okay, um, and we immediately threw you know threw money at them, and that's that's been our first thing we pull out.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: We have the original tripwire, you know, we still so we have three of them now, but it's it's it's amazing the the responses you get out of that.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: Um the second thing we pull out, Bill, what do we pull out next?
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: I mean there's digital recorders, right?
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: But usually it's our it's our phasma box.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: That's usually one of the first things that we start off with.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Well, we're not a big um, we're not real big on using apps, right?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Because uh to me, I I don't really know I I can't pull an application apart.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I'm not a software developer, but for us, that phasma box, the the intelligent responses that we get back that are spot on to the questions that we ask, I uh it blows me away.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: It really does.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it runs only on Windows Windows.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: Some people know about it, it's pretty popular in the field.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Uh one time at the DOS house, uh, Bill, you know, at the DOS house, they have the the barber chair, and uh I think you sat in it first, and the and the Tammy and Carrie sat in the dining room, yeah, and we were asking questions.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: And uh, I think Bill was sitting back, he said, Give me a hair, give me a haircut.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: And uh one of the spirits responded, or and but Bill said, I don't have any hair, and the spirits responded, We'll find some.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: And so it's what what you can get out of the phasma box.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: Another aspect is uh, you know, later on and I we asked how much it came out five dollars for a haircut, so it was pretty pretty neat.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, collaborating with teams with uh future ghosts paranormal, they pulled out FASMA box, and Bill and I went, What is that?
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, we don't really believe in apps, and we were blown away by what the responses were and and how accurate they were, and you know, it doesn't connect the internet, it doesn't do anything along those lines, and that was that's the second thing we bought, and it is has produced so many awesome results outside of traditional spirit boxes that we utilize as well.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: Now we Bobby we've never used necrophonic spirit talker to us doesn't uh produce what we're uh we're not too sure about that one, so we uh we just stick to that one in traditional spirit boxes.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, when we were at uh a recent public event, you know, we were helping the the team that was hosting the event, we were helping do some of the paranormal investigations, and there were so many people that busted out their apps on their phone.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: And you know, on on one hand, it was great to see them want to get involved with the investigation, but then at the same time, when you have like five, six different people all with an app, all on speaker, it really took away from the rest of the people that you know were trying to to listen um and and get involved personally.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: So, you know, you know, I I if you're on a public investigation, want to use the app, fantastic.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: I would just say just you know put put it on mute so it doesn't take away from other people's experience.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't I mean I have a spare talk on my phone, I don't really use it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_02: I bought it one investigation because I was bored.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: Now sitting in the bedroom for like 40 minutes, nothing's happening.
- 19:41SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I'll buy this just to see.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: Again, with all the equipment, it's a good starting point.
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: If something's happening, maybe something will come up that will make you ask a question that will start something.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: I don't believe in it.
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: I believe in all equipment, you need verification from other equipment.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 20:03SPEAKER_02: So that's just the way I roll.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: You also need uh Bill and I uh have intent and and faith in our equipment.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: You have to have faith in the in an intent that the equipment will do what you're want wanting it to do, and intent in the location uh that'll provide you fantastic results.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: So, you know, a week leading up to the uh to an investigation, uh in addition to historical research that we do and and watching other YouTube videos to see what they capture, we also throw intent uh into the universe.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: You know, we we want to have good intention on you know giving us great results, being active for us, being active with us.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: Uh, and then you know, so we we make sure that you know ahead of going, we actually have you know great results.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Uh, and then that also leads into you know wearing our you know uh black tourmaline and other beads to make sure that you know we're protected.
- 20:59SPEAKER_01: Uh so you have to have faith and and intent on that, that that would work uh accordingly, and same with the sage water we use at the end of every investigation.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I I chuckled a little bit because every time we go to an investigation, right?
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: Usually me and Zach, we try to open up ourselves like hey, if you need to use our energies, feel use it, feel free to use our energy.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: You want to touch us, go ahead and you can touch us.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: And I'm every single investigation, Ryan.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: My wife, without hesitation, was like, You do not have permission to touch me.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: Every single investigation, right?
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: So we will literally pause, like, Carrie, what are you gonna say?
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: And she's like, You don't have permission to touch me.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: We're like, right, that's why we're here.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: And then uh everybody, Tammy, my wife, who's on the team, uh, she's kind of a slight empath where you she will walk into a location and immediately feel ill.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: And if she goes into a certain area and it's it's it's it's um there's a lot of presence there, she will get even more ill uh to the point where she'll have to walk out of the home or whatnot.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: Now she doesn't have other Abilities, she's not as sensitive, she can't speak or see these, you know, entities that we're speaking to.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: But she's kind of our uh guiding post.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: We'll we'll say, How do you feel?
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: What are you feeling terrible in this area?
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: Or we'll put a static cam here, we'll come back here later tonight.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: So sorry, Tim, I know you're watching downstairs, but uh yeah, we we definitely leverage you as a nice little tool.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: But uh no, she you know as soon as Tammy gets sick, we're all like, Yes, that means this is gonna be great.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: And um, it's funny because Timmy and I, you know, we've been you know together since 2013, and we just started, you know, when Bill introduced us to Paranormal, even before that, we gone to Zach Backin's Zach Baggins Haunted Museum, and you know, and he he would they would the tour guys would show videos of people getting sick at the Jack of Workian van.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: And I'm going, uh, Zach Baggins, he has to be faking it.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: And Tam looked at me, she says, I'm about to pass out, I do not feel well in here.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: And she had to leave that that artifact room because she felt sick.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: And I said, Oh, maybe it was just whatever in an outburger that we ate on the strip and in Las Vegas, and we went to the Marshall House and uh down in Savannah, Georgia, and we took a nap.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: And right before we took a nap, she popped her head up and she says, What was that?
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: And I said, So we went to bed, we took the nap at dinner.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: I said, Why did you pop out of bed in the Marshall House?
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: It's a it's a hotel, it's uh and she said, Did you hear a cat?
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: It sounded like a cat meowed in my ear.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: And we were like, What the heck?
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: So I Googled it, and there Marshall House is one of the most haunted locations in Savannah, and there are ghost cats there.
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: And uh, we think that she was visited by one.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: So we now parlayed that and folded that into our investigation.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: So up in uh the parkside up in uh Titusville, uh led by kindred spirits, uh, there's someone called the the Grumpy Man up on three, and uh we were really good friends with them, uh with that team, and they said, All right, so you don't feel well, you're gonna get to this eight ball that's spray painted on the wall.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: And I guarantee you're gonna get sick because Grumpy Man doesn't like women.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: So we walk up, I keep walking ahead, Tam stops and immediately starts grabbing her stomach, and it was right at the eight ball.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: And uh, so that that kind of solidified her empath type abilities and what they might be, so that we definitely use her as a uh we pull her out of the toolbox at the beginning of every hunt.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: That's fine, though.
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: Like you're about to throw up, yeah.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: Okay, let's go investigate this place, you know.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: That's what we do.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: And sometimes it's you know, she's perfectly fine.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, and uh we've had some quite experiences with her at the Bel Air House.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: Uh maybe we'll get into that a little bit later, but yeah, she's uh the spirits definitely love to uh get a hold of her.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: I'll just leave that at that, right, Bill?
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: Um Bel Bel Air House is pretty cool.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's yeah, that's it's uh it's different investigation, I guess you want to call it that.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: It's darker, it is darker, it's uh you just feel different in there, and it's the whole house, it's not just like hey, go to the basement or no, I've seen everywhere there, but it's everywhere.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: One of my favorite stories, and we have a couple there, Bill.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: But uh I said, I'm gonna go to the attic, and I took you know all the equipment to get ready to trip wires and all that.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: And there's a you go up the steps, and immediately ahead of you is a couch.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: So I put the stuff down.
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: I felt something behind me, and I turn around.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: There's a man, I'm six foot two, he was about 5'11, straggly gray hair down to the shoulders, very old looking.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: He had a red and blue uniform on, like uh a war uniform.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: And I did that and he disappeared, and I turned back around, started doing my stuff again.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: And I fell him again.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: I turned around, he's still standing there staring at me.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Again, disappeared quickly, and I've never seen the uniform in my life.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: And Bill and I and the team went up to the Judson House, and they have a museum up there about the French and Indian War, and I stopped, and there was a British uniform sitting there with the red and blue patterns that I've never seen in my life, and that's what I saw in front of me.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: How can I fathom?
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: How can my brain make up this blue and red uniform I've never seen before sitting in front of me within you know, face to face with me, within five inches, at the and that was at the Bel Air house.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: And you know, I still tell that story to this day, and it it it still shocks me that I saw whatever I saw there, you know.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: That's just one of the many stories we have at the at that uh location.
- 26:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that whole town is honored, I think.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: I mean it's a little bit, yeah.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: It's a little bit and I think it's the ley lines and the and the water and the you know, with uh I think it's the Ohio River, don't quote me.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: I'm not the best geography guy on here, but uh yeah, I think it's ley lines and the the mines and the mine explosions and all of that make up for it.
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean a lot of Native American wars, a lot of Native American burial grounds, right behind Bel Air.
- 27:08SPEAKER_02: Yep, Moundsville real close.
- 27:11SPEAKER_02: Moundsville's real close.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: You had the underground railroad go right through there.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: So absolutely a lot of a lot of history.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: And down the street is the Ross House, that's one of our favorite locations.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Uh been there.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: Have you done the antique store, the furniture store?
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: We uh we've probably done the Ross House probably 12 to 13 times.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, have you?
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Okay, and uh Cindy's such a wonderful host, and I always try to give her a shout out every time I you know have an opportunity to speak.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: She she keeps the house so clean, she's so welcoming.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: Um, if you've never been to the Ross House, you got to make a journey to get there.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, the antique store.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: Um, we've hadn't had the most activity there, but what do you think?
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: No, and I I think you know, we've spent so much time in the actual house itself, right?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: That we haven't had much of an opportunity to investigate this store.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: We've spent like maybe an hour or two in the storefront.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: So right.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, hopefully we won't next time we return, we'll be able to get that, you know, that side of the location and you know, focus maybe a little bit more of our time over there, or at least maybe split split our teams, right?
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: You know, have some people in the house and some in the in the antique store, maybe do like a dual esta sack.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: I bet that'd probably be good to see what kind of results we get.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the only thing we ever got there was down in the basement.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: Uh there are three slave children.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: Uh we got through Phasma Box, but that's probably the only activity we've gotten in the the antique store.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: Have you investigated the antique store?
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we investigated it.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: Um, Ross House itself, I haven't got a lot from the Ross House itself.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: We've been there twice, but the antique store, a lot more activity, especially in a basement antique store.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: You get the slave children.
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: We went down there the third time we went down there, something else came through that was not happy.
- 29:09SPEAKER_02: Low dark energy came through and affected my niece pretty bad.
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: Actually, I had to pull her out of the basement.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: Like it was just to a point where she was trying to be strong, and I'm like, there's no reason for that.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: Like I wonder if it was that uh resident uh spirit Alfred that Cindy always tells us about that does not like people in the house.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: So I wonder if maybe that's what underneath.
- 29:33SPEAKER_02: I don't know if they go back and forth between the Ross house and the store.
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: It seems like two seems like different entities in both.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: I will say that the store always has felt heavy, but I've just never gotten much, um, other than a goose egg on my head from banging my head off of a pipe in the basement.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's that wasn't the best thing, but yeah, whatever.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: I'll I'll take it.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: I'll I'll get it scraped if if I get to investigate.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, the Ross House, uh Ross House is one of our favorites.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: Uh definitely ebbs and flows there.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: Um, Bill and I and Tammy and Carrie have have said that uh they kind of the spirits kind of give you a show and then they'll go quiet and they might come back.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: Um, but they'll they'll definitely pop off for a little bit.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: Um then around midnight, 1 a.m.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: they start slowing down.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: We've had we've we've seen poltergeist activity there.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: Um the the seance that we did, Zach.
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: Remember that?
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Bill, tell that story.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: I think that's a really cool story.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so Cindy brought in uh a medium or a psychic um to do an experiment with us and someone, two others from another team to where um they played some meditation music and just had a yeah, everyone um had you know noise canceling headphones on, and we were just to sit there and just listen.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: And she activated our our third eye, listened to this music for like maybe I think about 10 minutes, and then after the music was over, we were to jot down immediately came to our mind.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: So keep in mind, each one of us noise canceling, don't know what you know what's going on.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: So we're all writing down, and we go around the room, and she starts asking, okay, well, what did you write down?
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: So I think I went first and I said, I had the name, I had Mary and Green come to my mind.
- 31:18SPEAKER_00: No idea.
- 31:19SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking like the name Mary, maybe the color green.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: And then as they're going around, somebody makes a mention of, yeah, I'm I'm seeing like rushing water, um, a lot of water, like maybe, you know, didn't didn't uh you know, we're not equating the two.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: And then someone else said, Yeah, I saw I didn't hear a word, but I saw a picture of of an older lady in a polka dot dress with like the old white frilly collar.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: So, you know, we go on investigating when we think anything about it.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: Well, we got back, and the next day I'm like, you know, just just for the heck of it, I'm gonna do I'm gonna Google Mary Green in Buriola, Bel Air, Ohio.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't you know?
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: I I write your hand out, you you can people can Google it themselves.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: There was a woman named Mary Green, who was the first female riverboat captain in that area, and the picture online was of her in a polka dot dress with a white frill collar.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: There is no picture, no mention of that woman in the Ross House anywhere.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: She never appeared in any of our Ross House reach search of the region.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: So that I would say probably out of anything, that probably blew my mind the most.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: Out of all of the um disembodied voices, the pictures, stuff we kept on uh captured on on video with poltergeist activity.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: That to me was just I I I I still to this day I can't explain it.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's yeah, that was uh was it January we did that?
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: That was amazing.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: I think so, yeah.
- 32:53SPEAKER_02: So to me, the Ross House of all the places I've ever investigated is like a train station.
- 33:01SPEAKER_02: I mean, usually you like the antique store, it felt like whatever's in the antique store stays in the antique store.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: The Ross House just seems like non-stop spirits coming in because people like you and me are there asking questions.
- 33:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so they're stopping in, like Mary.
- 33:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, might be the only time Mary's ever there.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: Um, the the coal miners down the road.
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: I mean, they died four miles down the road.
- 33:29SPEAKER_02: Why are they at the Ross House?
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: Because we're asking questions, right?
- 33:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so it seems to me that the Ross House is just a train station of spirits.
- 33:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they have the residence spirits too.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: Bill Bill and I have experienced uh the kids there, the twins there with running.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: Uh team and I just experienced yeah, the running that we heard from uh when we were down in the basement.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: We it it literally sounded like someone was like running up and down the hallway up on the floor, and there was me, Zach, um Ben, and was Justin was with us too, right?
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: Yep, and we're in the basement, and the girls are all the way up on the top floor.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: But we thought, I said, there's no way, it's gotta be them.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: Well, lo and behold, we went back and watched the video, and it was not them running, it was it it wasn't even like real gentle footsteps, it was like kids running having a good time in the house.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: It's uh it's it's always fun there.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: And uh we caught a disembodied conversation a couple weeks ago there, and it sounded like two or three people talking, and it was you know, you could tell you could hear words, but you couldn't make out the words, it was almost muffled.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: We heard it with our naked ears and our zoom recorders while we were sitting upstairs with with Tim and Julie from uh Beaver County Paranormal.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: I said, Man, I really hope I got that on audio somewhere else in the house.
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: And I had a recorder rang in the dining room, and it almost sounds like two people conversing either on the steps or or in the hallway, the main hallway to the front door.
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: And it's we've always heard female disembodied voices, but nothing as conclusive as that.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: Uh, we were so excited when we caught that.
- 35:01SPEAKER_02: I think one thing, and it's it's Cindy.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: I mean, Cindy's just so welcoming.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: Like you ask her, like Ouija board, I don't give a shit.
- 35:09SPEAKER_02: Like, whatever you want to do, you know?
- 35:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she don't she doesn't care.
- 35:12SPEAKER_02: Like, hey, can I disappear?
- 35:14SPEAKER_02: Okay, whatever.
- 35:15SPEAKER_02: Like, she just absolutely know that's just their house.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: Let them do whatever they want.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: So maybe because Cindy's just so inviting that everybody's stopping by.
- 35:24unknown: Absolutely.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: Knowing Cindy, she loves to talk, she probably sits there and talks to them all the time.
- 35:28SPEAKER_02: I mean, she won't probably admit it, but she probably sits there in a house by herself and talks.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: So I mean, right.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: Um, so what other places have you gotten a lot to?
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, Hillview is like our our other home away from home.
- 35:42SPEAKER_00: Um, I know Zach and Tammy have frequented it um probably twice as much as the entire team has, but um, you know, that's another great location, and and not even just the location, but you know, the the people who helped to to run the investigations.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: Very, very welcoming and accommodating to us.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: Um, Ross House, Hillview, Bel Air, um, those are probably our top three, and then uh the park side up in Titusville, PA.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: It's uh I'll say it's sort of a hidden gem.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: I don't know how hidden it is.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: Um, but the uh the team Kindred Spirits, um, great folks to work with, great location, great history of that area, um, especially with you know the oil boom that was up there.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I would say those are probably my my top, if I had a good top four, those those would be it for me.
- 36:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, Hillview's uh definitely one of my one of our favorites.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: And you know, it's it's the first time we've ever investigated got the growl.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: So that's why I'm so attracted to to Hillview.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: And there's such an accommodating uh team with uh Melissa Dale and and everybody uh up there.
- 36:47SPEAKER_01: We we absolutely love working with them, and it's it's kind of our outside the Ross House, home away from home.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: And uh we actually host something called a friends and family event, where we'll have friends or family that say, Hey, you have all this equipment.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: Can we come with you?
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: And we're all right.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: Well, we're kind of serious in what we do when we investigate on our own, but so we get it, we got such uh a following from friends and family that want to come.
- 37:14SPEAKER_01: We actually kicked off something called friends and family event, and this is our third year doing it, and we don't make money on it.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: We take them to Hillview, they pay you know the hundred dollar fee, and we allow them to we give them a tour of the building ourselves.
- 37:27SPEAKER_01: Um, we let them use the equipment, we let them do what they see on television.
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: Uh they don't have to bring anything other than themselves and some snacks because we love snacks and some drinks, and uh you know, we just had one weekend.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, snacks are it's just as important as a tripwire, in my opinion.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: Um but uh you know, we give them experiences, and you know, some go from skeptics to believers, and some are still skeptics, and some just can't get enough of it and want to go on more.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: And I I think that's such a satisfying thing is to bring friends and family along with us when we can um to give them that experience.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: And I think that's what really brings me joy uh with those events.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: And you know, we don't make money on it, we're not looking to make money on it, and we just know Hillview so so well.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: And it's so Bill Manor.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, Bill Manor, yeah.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Carlo, Carlo is fantastic.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: We've yeah, it's it's a little bit of a of a drive for us.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: We've been there a couple times now, and and Bill Manor never ceases to disappoint.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, again, another great guy, Carlo.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: Can't say yeah, can't say enough good things about them.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: It's always enough, most of these owners are just unbelievable.
- 38:35SPEAKER_02: Yes, in their own way.
- 38:37SPEAKER_02: So, I mean, you have to be.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, I have to be, but that's I'm curious to get your perspective on what the this all the going on going on with the conjuring house.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Like what what's what's your take with you know what you know Jason Hawes is trying to do, you know, trying to do the the GoFundMe.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: Um just curious to get your perspective on something like that.
- 39:00SPEAKER_02: It's kind of like I have to trust him, I don't have to, but I kind of do that he's gonna do the right thing.
- 39:06SPEAKER_02: Like he's trying to keep the price down for people like us right to be able to do that.
- 39:13SPEAKER_02: Because if a corporation comes in or Matt Reif and his guy come in and buy it, then it's gonna be four thousand dollars a night.
- 39:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, we can't justify that.
- 39:25SPEAKER_02: No, if he I mean, Jason doesn't want to run it, he's gonna have someone else run it.
- 39:30SPEAKER_02: Hopefully, it's a local paranormal group that is willing to do it and do it right.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: And hopefully it works out.
- 39:38SPEAKER_02: If it doesn't, yeah, I'll never go to Conjuring House.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: I won't won't sleep well.
- 39:41SPEAKER_02: I've never seen a conjuring movie, so it doesn't really matter to me.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 39:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: I don't watch a lot of movies, so okay, yeah, yeah.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: That's uh yeah, like the the Warren Museum, two thousand dollars is just unattainable for for us.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's insane.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: I I appreciate them preserving it, but it's just it's just out of the price point for the majority of teams, and uh yeah, I hope Jason Hawes does grab it so we can you know be reasonable almost like uh you know the Hensdow house, you know, and he can have a business manager, he he can own it and have a business manager just like you would have at a bar or you know they handle it all, and he just you know Bobby.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: I see you're going to Bill Manor on December 19th.
- 40:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, make sure you sit down in the dining room uh with uh an EVP recorder and just sit there and ask questions.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: You'll definitely get some some EVPs out of it.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, we use a Sony ICD ST20 uh I'm sorry, ST25.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: We don't have one of those DR60s, but we caught so many insane EVPs out of that place at the very end of the night.
- 40:45SPEAKER_01: You you gotta do it.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Sit upstairs.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: We were doing Estes, and Bill sneezed and through this spirit box said, God bless.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: And you know, it was uh and then Bill, you haven't cut this video yet, but um down in the basement, we were definitely talking to a child Bill was under, and oh yeah, the responses we were getting were sounded like a six-year-old that was special needs or or handicapped, and you know, he spoke like a child through Estes, and you know, he said matchbox or hot wheel, and he had Hot Wheels down there.
- 41:17SPEAKER_01: I picked it up and I said, What is this?
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: And he car, you know, and it's it was pretty impressive.
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so you definitely spend your time there.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: Get you, you'll definitely get your money's worth.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: And Carlos is such an awesome guy, and and now he has the the Masonic Temple, uh, I think 45 minutes away from there.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: I we can't wait to go back.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: I can't wait for that.
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I took my brother to Bill Manor um for his first investigation.
- 41:42SPEAKER_02: Um, I wasn't gonna go solo, I just needed to get away because I we do an outage at the power plant, and it's just too many people.
- 41:49SPEAKER_02: So everybody's like, You're stupid, you're stupid.
- 41:51SPEAKER_02: So my brother's in Indianapolis.
- 41:53SPEAKER_02: I'm like, it's halfway between.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: You want to do it?
- 41:55SPEAKER_02: He's like, Yeah, never done this before.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: But I was excited to show him what I do, and it was it was decent activity.
- 42:04SPEAKER_02: The end got a little crazy, um, just cat balls going off, spirit box.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: I was under Estes.
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: So it's like the first time he felt alone because I was under Estes.
- 42:14SPEAKER_02: But the stuff I was saying, like run or you know, stuff like that.
- 42:18SPEAKER_02: And yeah, he was uh at the end, he was very happy that it happened at the end because he thought like the whole night was gonna be like that, and he's like, it was just way too much, like in at the end, right?
- 42:31SPEAKER_02: So then I took him, then I took him back with my niece and one of his friends.
- 42:38SPEAKER_02: And before we went in, I handed him a camera and said, Hey, solo, have fun.
- 42:43SPEAKER_02: So I made him walk through the whole place by himself, and he did it, he did a good job.
- 42:49SPEAKER_02: Um, he was scared a little bit.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: Um, he's on right now, so but yeah, I mean it's uh when I go to a place, I like to send people in there by themselves, just get the feeling.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: They're not doing investigations, just walk through and get a feeling of the place.
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: Not if a room feels off, just you know, take a mental note of that and we'll go.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: We'll go to that room.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: But I think it's important, just get a feel for the place.
- 43:17SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: That's how I that's how I roll my investigations.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: I like that though.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: We should try that.
- 43:25SPEAKER_01: Never really thought of that.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know we when we go in, we try to uh like I I hate this, you know, not to sound corny, but we'll we'll announce ourselves as we go into the house, right?
- 43:37SPEAKER_00: Because you know, it whether it's uh you know a hospital, a prison, a residence, you know, those spirits are there, it's their area.
- 43:47SPEAKER_00: So we always say, look, we're here out of respect.
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: Uh here's our names.
- 43:52SPEAKER_00: Um, feel free to talk to us.
- 43:54SPEAKER_00: And we even try to, you know, go the extra mile, like while we're doing EVPs, like you know, we Never gotten a response yet, but we've always asked, like, hey, is there a message that you want us to deliver to somebody?
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: You know, maybe you're sticking around, um, not just because you're attached to the location, but because there's something you need to get off your chest, you need to speak with someone.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: Um, hopefully, someday we get that type of communication through an AVP.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: Um, but you know, we we've we've always um gone into a location just um you know, sort of just to sit, announce ourselves, and just get acclimated to the environment, you know, like you mentioned earlier, get a feel for the place, you know.
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: As we're doing our walkthrough and we're setting up our equipment, you know, a lot of times we it feels really dark, or ooh, I heard something, or ooh, I I saw a soldier, and that's usually where we'll try to focus our investigations.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we always introduce ourselves too.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: You know, we'll go around the room and say our names or our nicknames, or you know, and sometimes we won't say our nicknames, and they'll say the nickname.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: So, like Tammy, she'll say Tamita.
- 44:58SPEAKER_01: Um, it's a family name, and sometimes that'll come through Faso Box or the Spirit Box, and we didn't we didn't say it all night, so it's kind of interesting how they can pull things apart.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: So, you know, spirit boxes can be subjective of what we heard, but uh uh in my opinion, they're it's they're pretty powerful.
- 45:16SPEAKER_01: They they know what they're doing and they know what they can do, but uh yeah, that's uh that's my thoughts on that.
- 45:21SPEAKER_01: Ryan, what's uh what's your favorite uh spot or how many times uh what's your favorite location to go to?
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: I go to Madison Seminary the most.
- 45:31SPEAKER_02: Um I think this will be my fourth 14th time going there next week.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: So it's I mean it's literally 10 minutes down the road, so I mean you can't beat it.
- 45:44SPEAKER_02: Right now, so I go there, it's it's it's fun because it's it's big and there's a lot of different spirits there.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and again, since it's kind of like I don't want to say my home base because it's a lot of very a lot of everybody's home base, they say, but I'm just trying to get some answers.
- 46:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, not really answers, I want to get stories straight because I've been going there for 18, 20 years and the stories have changed.
- 46:11SPEAKER_02: And it that that bothers me because you have one person going in there running a spirit box or a psychic medium saying, Oh, Angie's down here, and next thing you know, there's a spirit Angie.
- 46:24SPEAKER_02: Like, come on, no, we don't know that for sure.
- 46:27SPEAKER_02: But I mean, just trying to get stories straight.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: That's all, and that's why I tell them.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: I'm like, I'm just here to get your story straight.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: You want to tell your story, tell it.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Angie could have been a radio bleed, too, you know, coming, yeah, or could be uh a spirit passing through.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: But um Timmy and I went up for Mad Con last Mad Con, not the one that most recently, but last year's, and that was phenomenal.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: We we wouldn't have been there uh potentially this year.
- 46:55SPEAKER_01: Um, but we did the invest the public investigation you know during the party, and we did catch some some interesting things.
- 47:02SPEAKER_01: Uh we caught some teen women in the doctor's office that was felt really dark in there.
- 47:08SPEAKER_01: Um the child's room, and forgive me, I forget the child's name.
- 47:12SPEAKER_01: Sarah, yeah, Sarah with the portal in the closet.
- 47:16SPEAKER_01: Something strange was going on in there, but yeah, we we're definitely looking to to book that this year.
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: So, Ryan, maybe you know, we we could team up this year with you.
- 47:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that'd be cool.
- 47:26SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, so that portal in a closet.
- 47:29SPEAKER_02: So I've been doing this 18 years.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: Two years ago is the first time I heard of that portal.
- 47:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, see, I we don't know much about it, so yeah, so that's why I'm like let's get the story straight here.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Let's try.
- 47:43SPEAKER_02: Sarah's and Sarah's room.
- 47:45SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: Um was that is it something mimicking a child, or I don't know because Adam has a theory that the lady across the hall, because when you go in there, it takes a while to get some evidence answers.
- 48:02SPEAKER_02: Like people are just in Sarah's room asking questions.
- 48:05SPEAKER_02: He believes the lady across the hall is coming over and saying, Hey, I'm here too.
- 48:10SPEAKER_02: So I don't know.
- 48:12SPEAKER_02: I mean, interesting.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: Seems like activity is picking up a little bit in Sarah's room.
- 48:18SPEAKER_02: Um, the attic is always my favorite place to go.
- 48:22SPEAKER_02: It's I get my best EVPs in the attic.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: Interesting, yeah.
- 48:27SPEAKER_00: Okay, good to know.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we'll definitely get that.
- 48:30SPEAKER_01: We um yeah, we just did the doctor's office, and like I said, that was a public.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, sometimes we'll just do publics for uh just to to scritch the uh to scratch the itch, as they say.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, that's so Bill, that's why we go to Hillview so much because if we don't have you know one of our 25 investigations for this year and and we want to go, we'll go to the public, you know.
- 48:51SPEAKER_02: Um and that's always yeah, if you guys ever come up, just let me know.
- 48:55SPEAKER_02: I mean, if I'm off work, then yeah, definitely I'll join you.
- 48:58SPEAKER_02: It's not a big deal.
- 48:59SPEAKER_02: That sounds good.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: Um, what do you guys believe in solos?
- 49:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, the the name is alone in the dark, right, Bill?
- 49:05SPEAKER_00: That's right, just like the name says.
- 49:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we love doing solos.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: That's uh, you know, whether someone's in the basement, the the the gals don't like to do it, uh so it's always just one of us, you know.
- 49:16SPEAKER_01: And it's one of the solos we did uh was actually the park side.
- 49:22SPEAKER_01: I was sitting there, Bill came around the corner, and Bill took a photo of the three snaps, and Bill caught a child's face so in the mirror uh in the gym area.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: And uh, so it's kind of interesting that you know, if I was there a little bit longer by myself, what would have happened, would I have been touched, whatnot.
- 49:41SPEAKER_01: But yeah, we absolutely love soap solos, and uh sometimes they manifest some things, and sometimes they're just it's just quiet, you know, you won't really get much, and then I'll go back upstairs, or Bill will go back upstairs wherever we're at, and they'll the rest of the team will go, Oh my god, it's it's going nuts up here, footsteps, voices, all this and that, and then I just kind of get jealous, like, oh man, I sat down there all by myself, nothing happening, and everybody's getting all this action.
- 50:07SPEAKER_02: So yeah, what about you?
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: Um I'm a big solo person, I love solos.
- 50:12SPEAKER_02: It's not because I just want to be by myself, but I believe since a lot of places that we do investigate are hospitals, psychiatric, psychiatric hospitals.
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: You gotta think they were in their rooms by themselves, right?
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: Right, so it's a more of a comfort level for them.
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you bring 12 people into the doctor's office, you know, I don't think that spirit's gonna show up.
- 50:35SPEAKER_02: But if you're by yourself, like a nursing or a doctor visiting, then yeah, sorry, it's just popular.
- 50:43SPEAKER_01: I have I have a comment and then I have two theories.
- 50:45SPEAKER_01: So the comment is isn't it fascinating to go to somewhere like the Old Stone Jail or Ohio State Reformatory and just sit there and realize that this used to be a city of prisoners, you know, uh officers, everybody that just lived here for their entire lives, and now it was a bustling city, and now it's dead quiet.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: I we always just sit there in awe of looking at these facilities and you know, waverly and go, Oh my gosh, this used to be massive and huge and violent and whatnot, and now it's just a quiet old decaying thing.
- 51:21SPEAKER_01: It's just fascinating to sit there thinking about that.
- 51:25SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's one thing that always brings uh uh you know an awe factor to me when I sit in these places.
- 51:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, now the theory, Ryan.
- 51:34SPEAKER_01: I like your theory of you know, they were alone in these rooms, and the you know, one of my two of my theories are the first one is you know, I think we get more activity at night and in colder weather because the molecules are a little bit easier to move, the spirits can move them a little bit easier, they can look more interactive, versus uh 95-degree day, it's sweaty, it's hot, the molecules aren't moving as quickly.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: So I I think we always get a little bit more activity at night and during the winter and fall time, and you know, the veil's thinner in the October time frame.
- 52:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, but I think that's that's that's a theory of mine.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: And then another theory was you know, some of these places you go to, maybe the Ross House, maybe Ferrara Elementary, you might not get activity at night because nobody was there at night.
- 52:23SPEAKER_01: You know, if you go to an elementary school, they were there from 8 a.m.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: to 3 p.m.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: or you know, around that time.
- 52:31SPEAKER_01: You know, you'll probably get more activity in the day than at night for some of these places, or you know, you might get some in the early you know, 7, 8, 9 p.m.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: hour, but then go silent after that.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: So kind of like the Ross House.
- 52:43SPEAKER_01: Maybe it was bustling back in the day from 8 to 8, but then after that it kind of slows down.
- 52:49SPEAKER_01: So those are two of my theories that I always kind of try to pull the thread on when I'm at you know in these kind of areas.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, that was brought up on Facebook a lot, bro.
- 52:59SPEAKER_02: Like days and nights.
- 53:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, I do believe like day might be more residual because it was more stuff happening than maybe nights because we're there asking questions, right?
- 53:12SPEAKER_02: So, but I do believe in your cold theory a hundred percent.
- 53:17SPEAKER_01: How do you provide your evidence?
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: Do you provide evidence uh from your uh from your investigations?
- 53:22SPEAKER_02: And uh if I have something decent, I mean I I'll put videos on YouTube since I started this podcast in June.
- 53:30SPEAKER_02: I kind of like stopped doing as much because it's this is taking all my time right now, right?
- 53:36SPEAKER_02: Right, and I'm trying to space out my podcast a little more instead of doing like three a week.
- 53:41SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I mean if something is worth it or a good EVP, I'll put it on put it out on YouTube and let people hear it.
- 53:51SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 53:52SPEAKER_02: Usually uh if I hear it, I'll take it to work and have a couple people listen to it.
- 53:56SPEAKER_02: I won't tell them what it says.
- 53:58SPEAKER_02: If they say yeah, something's there, then then I'll post it.
- 54:01SPEAKER_02: But I'm not gonna post because my ears just hear it and no one else hears it.
- 54:05SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 54:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:06SPEAKER_00: We prefer like uh short format type of videos.
- 54:10SPEAKER_00: We you know, Zach entitled them fast fast finds, right?
- 54:14SPEAKER_00: Um because to me, some of the longer content videos it it's it it it loses its luster, if you will.
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: I I know for me, I I have the attention span of a mat.
- 54:26SPEAKER_00: I I really do.
- 54:28SPEAKER_00: If something's gonna be like 30, 40 minutes, an hour long, chances are I probably won't watch it, right?
- 54:34SPEAKER_00: If something's you know five minutes or less, I'll I'll be invested invested in it.
- 54:38SPEAKER_00: So at least that's that's just our our preference.
- 54:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, and based on our lifestyle work schedules, right?
- 54:45SPEAKER_00: It it it uh makes more sense for us to do these little fast finds as opposed to long content videos.
- 54:51SPEAKER_01: And to be honest, I'm not the most handsome guy out there, so I don't think you want to see this mug for 27 minutes, you know, an hour.
- 54:58SPEAKER_01: Just just just cut just give me the evidence, man.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: Right, yeah, you know, just the facts, man.
- 55:04SPEAKER_00: Just the facts.
- 55:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 55:05SPEAKER_02: I try just I try to make shorts out of them minute to minute 20.
- 55:08SPEAKER_02: If it's 20 seconds, it's 20 seconds, like yeah.
- 55:12SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, so I try to keep it short, just throw it on shorts and that's floppy.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: That's funny, yeah.
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we uh we've always talked about going live, like uh, you know, Verona Goes and whatnot.
- 55:25SPEAKER_01: It's just we we're just so invested investigating that we we also don't want to go live and nothing happens, and people are just sitting there like, all right, these guys are literally alone in the dark by themselves.
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, silly.
- 55:39SPEAKER_01: So we don't do you know, we don't do lives, and uh you know, we'll we'll we'll dump everything on on static cams and we'll sift through it and bounce things off each other.
- 55:48SPEAKER_01: And you know, uh unfortunately we'll find some some really awesome evidence, and we'll find it's a headlight, you know, or somebody singing, and it's just like, oh man, but um, but every so often there's that gem, and you know, one time at Hillview, you know, we have uh full spectrum cameras that I build, and Bill's taking shots of three at uh down on one north on in Hillview, and he said, I think I got something.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: I said, You didn't get anything.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: Come on, man.
- 56:20SPEAKER_01: He sent he sent it to us, and there was a seven-foot shadow figure all the way down the hall where you're always seeing shadows and and hands and heads.
- 56:28SPEAKER_01: And every time someone stops me and wants to talk ghosts, I show Bill's photo, and I'm like, Look at that, and they go, Oh my god.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: And I've even stood at the end of the hall, and I'm six foot two, and it was the the the the shadow figure is taller than me, you know, from a photo comparison, so and it was much thinner too.
- 56:45SPEAKER_01: I uh you know, but uh yeah, so evidence review is it can be fruitful, and sometimes it's the most the the biggest time suck, and sometimes it's fruitless, and sometimes you don't catch anything.
- 56:58SPEAKER_01: You'll sit there for eight hours listening to audio and nothing comes through, you know.
- 57:01SPEAKER_00: It's a grind, that's for sure.
- 57:04SPEAKER_02: But I always do it to like gold mining.
- 57:06SPEAKER_02: I always say that because I'm an EVP junkie.
- 57:09SPEAKER_02: Six hours of going over EVPs, you catch at one EVP, it was worth it, you know.
- 57:16SPEAKER_02: Then you're hooked.
- 57:17SPEAKER_02: I have a little probably a little over six hours from the DOS house.
- 57:21SPEAKER_02: I gotta go over still.
- 57:23SPEAKER_02: Because I did an hour and a half, two hours solo in a basement when I first got there.
- 57:28SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I'm I'm I'm way behind, but from our uh investigation that we helped Tim from Beaver County uh paranormal at the old economy.
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: I I I've probably six hours of audio, I haven't even touched.
- 57:43SPEAKER_00: Um so I I I'm I I am guilty of of being way behind for our evidence review.
- 57:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it's up during the holidays.
- 57:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 57:54SPEAKER_01: Typically what we do is if something phenomenal happens during a live investigation, we'll we'll go right to that and cut it for a pass find.
- 58:02SPEAKER_01: Uh one of those was uh Reynolds Death House in Gettysburg this year.
- 58:06SPEAKER_01: It's a very small place.
- 58:09SPEAKER_01: That was the smallest location we've ever been to.
- 58:12SPEAKER_01: And it's literally just a room and a smaller dressing room, it's a it's a photography studio now.
- 58:18SPEAKER_01: And I was doing estus in the in the dressing room, and I literally just go under.
- 58:24SPEAKER_01: We had a camera on it, we had a tripwire in the other room in front of the other team members and and some friends.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: And I go under, start sweet sweeping on my SB7 and says, Hi Tammy.
- 58:35SPEAKER_01: I'm like, all right, hi Tammy, and all of a sudden it says one.
- 58:39SPEAKER_01: I'm like, one, two, I'm like, two, three.
- 58:43SPEAKER_01: I'm like, three.
- 58:44SPEAKER_01: I'm like, all right, so I just I can't see anything, I'm just sweeping in the other room, I can't hear anything.
- 58:50SPEAKER_01: And I come out and they said that was the coolest SS S disc we've ever seen.
- 58:54SPEAKER_01: They said, What are you talking about?
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: They said, You said one, two, three, and then the tripwire went off, like something ran by it, and we caught that on audio and video, and that's one of the coolest catches that we've we've gotten this year.
- 59:07SPEAKER_00: Is that spirits were showing off that and um when uh we had the the XLS, and you know, and and I know a lot of people don't believe in it, right?
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: You know, false positives and such, but we had um there was like a bar and we had cat balls sitting on top of the bar, and I'm just I'm I'm scanning through.
- 59:29SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, our my spoke alarm's going off in the house.
- 59:33SPEAKER_00: Oh, anyways, I'm scanning with the XLS, and you see a figure and it points to the cat ball on the bar, and then the cat ball goes off.
- 59:41SPEAKER_00: So it was pretty wild.
- 59:43SPEAKER_01: Start vending at some paracons.
- 59:45SPEAKER_01: We just did one earlier this year as a kind of uh you know, putting our you know feet in the water, see what we thought.
- 59:51SPEAKER_01: Uh big shout out to to Tim and a few others for for always being there for us.
- 59:55SPEAKER_01: Uh you know, we have a thousand questions about how to do a paracon, what to bring, what not to bring, and um what to do.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_01: And you know, I sincerely appreciate uh Tim from Beaver County's friendship on that, and even Rochelle.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: Rochelle, you've you've done so much for us as well.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_01: So thank you.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_01: Just want to give you a shout out here, and I think you should be uh uh featured on this podcast.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_01: I think you should email Ryan here and us even get on.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, just email me.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_02: I'm always looking for people.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_02: I love just talking to a whole bunch of different people, it's great.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we always learn something.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_02: Absolutely for me.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_02: I always learn something if it's a place to go or a trick and a trade, it doesn't matter.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_01: Equipment, yes, yeah, and that's where we got uh the fast one box from Michelle.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_01: She whipped it out.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_01: I was like, what is that?
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_01: And she's like, just wait.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_01: I said, All right, so now we you know we're we're we're we're believers and absolutely love that equipment.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_01: Ryan, have you been to Waverly?
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_02: I have not.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_02: That is on the list.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_02: I did ask my group what places they want to go this next year.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_02: That's the only place I got Waverly, Waverly.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_02: So I'm like, I mean, I've been to Mansfield, I've been to Trans Allegheny twice.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_02: Um I I guess I have to hit Waverly, just the trifecta, you know.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: I mean, I love Trans Allegheny.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_02: It's not too bad.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_02: It's like Hillview, it's a hundred bucks.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we gotta go.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_01: Um, we did a tour there uh last year, and it was it's such a phenomenal place, but yeah, Bill, we we gotta definitely prioritize that as well.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_01: Um Waverly's cool, it's um it's just genuinely creepy again.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_01: Just like I said earlier, it's just you sit there in a bustling city of of people.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_01: Um, at one point, and you just sit there and you go, Oh my gosh, you know, the the history here.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_01: Um, the challenge there is is bats, lots of bats.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_01: It's all open air.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_00: Say Tammy hates bats.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_02: You know, I got winged.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_02: I got I got winged a couple times a trans Allegheny walking down a hallway.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_02: We were actually it was actually funny because they had the old fluorescent lights up there, uh which shaped like a you know, that at the end.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_02: So me and my buddy Ashley were walking.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_02: I'm like, is that a light?
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_02: Because the lights are off, and I'm like, and just kept getting closer and closer, and both of us got hit.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_02: Wow, no, right?
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_02: We got winged, and I'm like, damn, that was a bat.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_00: No, we were we were at Prospect Place with uh Rochelle's team.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_00: Oh uh, we collabed with them, and we were up in the attic, and it was just bat city.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_00: It we were we were screaming like a bunch of little kids, just kept getting dive bombed, and it was it, it was just insanity.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, we got some good tripwire activity, um, but it was just I switched languages.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_01: I was speaking Japanese, I think, because I was so scared.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_01: I can't do bats.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_01: No, I can do I can do uh spirits.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_01: I I can't um I can't do bats, and and uh you know the the other aspect that I'm always scared of is is is the living, you know.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: Sometimes you walk in these places, you're like, all right, I uh not in the best neighborhood, you know, and uh I don't own a gun, so but uh yeah, it's always like oh boy.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_01: So but yeah, bats and bats and people always scare me.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_01: But uh if a ghost wants to sit on my lap at Bel Air House, I'm all about it, but which you did have, you know, and it has, yeah.
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_02: No, like Trans Allegheny.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_02: I found the best way to investigate Trans Allegheny twice.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_02: I've only been there twice, it's just sit in the hallway and just listen, like you said, reflect on the place of how historical it is.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_02: And we got very good EVPs, and that's where I saw my second full-body apparition.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_02: Just walk right down, right across from me.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, just sitting there and just kind of reflecting, like, because everybody's always in those hot spots asking questions, so I'm like, why don't we just sit here in the dark?
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_02: And that's what we did, and it seems a lot more active.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_01: So yeah, we uh we we start the nights like that and we end the nights like that, and sometimes burning a candle.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_01: Uh Bill, we were at uh Wildwood Sanatorium, and uh you tell your story because I I think uh you love it.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_00: I think everybody left for the night.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_00: Um, it was just the the core four of us, myself, my wife Carrie, Zach, and his wife Tammy, and we're upstairs at the little Seance table and had a candle going, and we're just sitting there, you know, initially listening.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_00: Um and we started asking questions, and my wife's back was to the steps or the the one hallway, and I'm it's to the right of me.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_00: And all of a sudden you just start here, you know, it started off with gentle footsteps, and we're like, you know, you we all hear that, right?
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_00: And we're like, Yeah, okay.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_00: Of course, my wife's panicking.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_00: Did you lock the door?
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_00: Is the door locked?
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yes, the door is locked.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_00: Well then, I mean, sure as shit, maybe five seconds later, like it's like a kid coming down the hallway.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_00: Loud, everyone heard it.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_00: I I bought shit in my pants.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_00: I jumped up out of the chair because I thought it was coming right at me.
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, everyone else is still sitting there, and there's me, chicken little, getting ready to run out the door like a Kool-Aid man.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_01: And that was after some really angry EVPs in the basement.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_01: So I think Bill, you were you were feeling it that night.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and yeah, that that um he didn't, whatever spirit was coming through, did not like um, did not like us in the basement that night, that's for sure.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_01: And I I think some of the spirits like to pick on people too.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_01: It was um Twin City Opera House over in Ohio, Ryan.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure if you've ever been there.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_01: Fan phenomenal place.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_01: I was picked on all night.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_01: We were in the basement.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_01: There's a little girl uh spirit that resides there.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_01: She pulled my shirt.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_01: Um We can hear her laughing.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_01: And then we are going to go backstage and on the stage and behind the curtains.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_01: And I was walking up.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_01: We were looking for chairs to sit in the back.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_01: I've never had this experience before and have not experienced it since.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_01: But I was walking around, I just had my camera, no spirit box running, nothing running, just legitimately just walking around.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_01: And radiostatic literally just pierced my ear.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_01: And it was the weirdest phenomenon I've ever had.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_01: And it was probably less than a second, it was extremely loud, disappeared, and that was it.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and he didn't have any headset on, so it's not like he was getting interference between the headset and the microphone.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_00: It was nothing.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_00: He was just grabbing a chair.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_01: Grabbing a chair and on my H1N, my zoom recorder on my running gun, caught it, and it sounded like a kind of high-pitched um actually it sounded a high-pitched squill in person, but it sounded like it actually was an EVP saying get out or leave, which was really fascinating.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_01: But then I had other zooms in the um auditorium and it just caught a high-pitched squill.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_01: And it's it was the strangest thing I've I've ever heard, but you know, that night I felt picked on.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_01: Um, one time at Hillview, we're on one north, and it was kind of quiet.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_01: Uh Rochelle was with us, and I said, Why are you quiet?
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_01: And it said it almost said it was it was shy, and it said, sit down.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_01: I said, Well, who do you want to sit down?
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_01: And said, The big one.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: I said, Well, um am I the big one?
- 1:07:45SPEAKER_01: Or he said, Rochelle said, Who's the big one?
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_01: It said, 'Zach.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_01: So I I sat down, but so I often get picked on, and you know, Tammy often gets picked on because of her uh her ability, uh, I guess for lack of better terms.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_01: Bill, I think you get picked on, don't you?
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, when we were at um, what was it, West Virginia Penn, um, and we were in Red Cell area.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, I I normally don't uh try to be aggressive, I usually try to keep an even keel with our investigation, but I thought, all right, I'll I'll provoke a little bit.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_00: And I started talking about talking to the guy that uh killed Red, like, oh, you're a coward, this, that, and the other.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_00: Well, the next thing you know, Zach's under Estus, and it's like, it's like, you're bald, you're fat.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm and it's like talking directly to me, and I'm like, and of course, our wives are like, I got the William from my wife, so I had to tone it down after that.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_01: But uh and I came out and I said, I said all these derogatory names.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_01: What's going on?
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_01: There everyone's jaws just dropped staring at me.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_01: I was like, You're bald, fat, hoopy, or something like that.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_01: Just I was like, none of these make sense, but but you could tell it was a voice, and it wasn't like radio chatter.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_01: And we played it back, and it it met married up that Bill was pro you know talking a little bit mad about this guy, and we don't provoke, we're not that kind of team, but right, it was interesting to get that that night, and oh my gosh.
- 1:09:07SPEAKER_01: So that's it.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_00: Well, Rochelle in the in the chat, she she just reminded me about the Esther session we did, Zach, in the basement at Prospect Place.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes, and and it was it Ryan, it was literally like I was listening to a story of a slave that was trying to escape someone, um, ran from trying to hide in the river, and he's coming.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_00: I'm dying, boss.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_00: Like, and it was like even like period type of talk.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_00: It was so it wasn't like I'm hit listening to like AM radio station, right?
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_00: It was literally like I'm I was replaying some type of event that was you know from a perspective of a of a slave that was trying to escape, you know, um a bounty hunter trying to catch them.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_00: It was it was it was the wildest thing.
- 1:09:58SPEAKER_00: I've that is the only place I've ever had anything like that.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_00: I usually get one word, two words, you know, maybe half of a sentence, but this was literally like a full-on story that I was um someone was channeling through me, and I'm not a sensitive, I'm not a medium.
- 1:10:14SPEAKER_00: Um, I I you know I may feel a thing or two, but that was the the one and only time I've ever had that come through.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_00: It was it was just a wild experience.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm glad you know we're we were able to uh investigate the place with Rochelle and her team.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and it was that's part it's part of history from our place, too, isn't it?
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:33SPEAKER_01: And it was you know, they were trying to like Rochelle said in the chat here, yeah, it was almost like they hang somebody and then buried the guy.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_01: It was it was almost like it said get his get his legs, and then all of a sudden, a few minutes later, Bill was chatting about digging something, so it's almost like they hanged whomever they were hanging, and they buried them, and they were trying to get into the the prospect place, you know, basement because that was part of the underground railroad.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_01: But yeah, that was that was crazy.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_01: That was crazy.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_02: All right, let's do some quick questions here.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna do a rapid uh Zach, you answer first, then Bill right after bucket list.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_02: What's your number one bucket list place you want to go to?
- 1:11:17SPEAKER_01: Winchester, Winchester House, uh Mystery House.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_01: I've been enamored by that place since I was a kid, just the massive amount of rooms, you know.
- 1:11:27SPEAKER_01: Since I was like seven years old, seeing it on you know Nickelodeon as a kid.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_01: I've always wanted to do that, and now that you know you can investigate it, I I would love to absolutely do that, and that's kind of a different place.
- 1:11:39SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I'd I'd love to do that.
- 1:11:42SPEAKER_01: Go, go, your turn.
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_00: For me, um, uh it would be the the hotel where Stephen King uh wrote The Shining.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_00: That's besides the Winchester house, that that's on my um top must see locations.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_00: Um, prior to that was Gettysburg.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_00: We just went there.
- 1:12:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know how we slept on Gettysburg for so long for whatever reason.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_00: We thought it was like five hours away, obviously.
- 1:12:09SPEAKER_00: It's not.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_00: Um, but I'm I'm a big history buff, and going to Gettysburg was was fantastic.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_00: Um, but for me, yeah, the the the hotel where the shining is that's that's fine.
- 1:12:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and the Shanley.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_01: What am I going?
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_01: The Shanley Hotel as well.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_01: So the Shanley's cool.
- 1:12:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that that'd be a good one.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, those are those are ours, and there's a couple others, but uh yeah, those are I've always wanted to go as a kid for the Winchester.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, how about you, Ryan?
- 1:12:39SPEAKER_01: What's yours?
- 1:12:40SPEAKER_02: I have no idea.
- 1:12:41SPEAKER_02: No, I'm joking.
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_02: Um I want to go over ever since Emily Paranormal did the true crime lab or museum over in the UK.
- 1:12:50SPEAKER_02: Oh I want to do that.
- 1:12:52SPEAKER_00: Somewhere overseas would be great, like the uh the agent ram in any of the old Scottish castles.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_00: That that would be fantastic to investigate.
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_00: But uh you know, me and Zach still have to, you know, we'd have to donate our one each one a kidney and you know a lot of plasma to be able to afford that type of international trip.
- 1:13:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you got two kidneys, it's good.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_01: My my dream location would be owning our own location, right, Bill.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, we uh that's right.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_01: I'm always on the hunt for something.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm always looking, you know.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_02: I want a haunted cabin in the woods.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_02: Oh, there you go.
- 1:13:26unknown: There you go.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_02: I can find a haunted cabin in the woods, then I'm on that.
- 1:13:30SPEAKER_00: Oof, yeah, but yeah, we just have to convince our wives, Zach, to that we can buy a haunted location.
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_01: Um it's on it.
- 1:13:38SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, like stumble on something like the DOS house would be phenomenal.
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, just like um and Rochelle looks like she recommends the Leap Castle in Ireland, so I believe she can investigate there.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Verona Ghost says hey, the cabin on 360.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_01: That's on our list, Bill.
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we have uh an Excel tracker of all these locations we want to hit in Greenville Manor, you know, up up uh Pennsylvania, probably up near way near near your way, Ryan.
- 1:14:08SPEAKER_01: Uh, I think is going to be opening up shortly again.
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_01: So that's that's a phenomenal place as well.
- 1:14:14unknown: Yep.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_02: All right, scariest place you have ever been.
- 1:14:19SPEAKER_01: That's a good one.
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_01: Um you know, it when you start this kind of thing, Hillview Manor by by yourself is just so heavy feeling.
- 1:14:32SPEAKER_01: And then once you start getting acclimated to the paranormal and and all of this, uh Bel Air House just feels uh off every time.
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_02: It's not a scary off.
- 1:14:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's just off.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_01: And we had a very scary experience there last time we went where as I said, Tam can feel things, and we were doing the you know, sitting in the dark with lights with candles lit, and we started seeing things, feeling things, and all of a sudden Tam felt pressure around her neck, and she was sitting where Lyde passed away in front of the fireplace, and she was choked.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_01: Um, so I think that was a very scary moment for us, and we had pictures, we have a video of it, and then pictures of her neck all red within seconds.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_01: So I think that's in my opinion, that's my scariest, but you know, I'm we're pretty tolerable of being alone in the dark now.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_01: So, what about you, Bill?
- 1:15:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I would have to concur with Zach.
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_00: Like the the Bel Air house, you know, while we're I'll say, you know, Eric used to it by now, out of all the locations we've been to, that's probably the first one that I've ever walked into, and just you know, at the heebie jeebies, right?
- 1:15:51SPEAKER_00: There, like there's something off about this place.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_00: I don't know what it is.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_00: I'm not I'm not gonna say the D word, like everyone likes to throw around, right?
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_00: Um, but there is is something in that location that just feels off and it makes you feel very uncomfortable.
- 1:16:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um, but yeah, I would say probably you know, I'm sure that there's other locations out there that are you know more scary, if you will, but for me, Bel Air is is tops.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_02: How about you?
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_02: Uh Bel Air is probably the I guess freakiest, I guess you might call it.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_02: Like off, unsure.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_02: Um, we've had some stuff, people get scratched.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_02: Um had a girl get knocked out pretty much in the basement by team members.
- 1:16:38SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I mean it was uh it was different.
- 1:16:41SPEAKER_02: I said it's just a different feeling there that something I I don't know if it was human, but there's an entity somewhere in that house that controls that house.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so there's there's something definitely not in that place, yeah.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, everywhere we go is just you know, it might feel dark every so often, but nothing nothing we can't handle anymore.
- 1:17:10SPEAKER_01: And we protect ourselves too, so we make sure we sage ourselves with water and and sage and you know burning sage after after every session to close our our time out.
- 1:17:20SPEAKER_02: So that was my next question, protection, but whatever.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_02: We'll skip that one.
- 1:17:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, we uh so we all wear yeah, we all wear uh you know black tourmaline, we all wear um beads, necklaces, and uh Bill wears a cross, a crucifix.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, we after everyone we we have a saying, we close out, and uh we we have sage water, we dumble the ground, we put our feet into our shoes, obviously, and then uh Bill has you know sage.
- 1:17:51SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, just it is as corny as it sounds, what you know we say is we're saging spirits.
- 1:17:59SPEAKER_00: You have to stay here, you do not have permission to follow us.
- 1:18:02SPEAKER_00: Oh that that is it, you know.
- 1:18:04SPEAKER_00: Just in case if someone wants to be a hitchhiker, um they can keep their ass there, we're good.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, you have to have intent in all that, like I said at the beginning of the program.
- 1:18:13SPEAKER_01: You know, you have to have intent giving it to the house before you get there, intent in your equipment, intent and spirits that they'll give you, and then intent in your beads and your and your protection and and and belief in all of that to to help you know protect you.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_01: And but yeah, we we definitely go above and beyond to to protect ourselves.
- 1:18:30SPEAKER_01: And thanks to Rochelle for always showing us that in the beginning.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm not huge into any of that.
- 1:18:36SPEAKER_02: Um I always my faith and I always believe positive energy is what yeah, and I always joke I'm in ginger, you know.
- 1:18:45SPEAKER_02: Like trust me, you want to go home with me.
- 1:18:48SPEAKER_02: I mean, I have no soul, I take people's souls.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_02: So if you want to go to my house and fight this out, we'll find it out.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_02: So no, I just believe positive positive energy, we'll get rid of negative energy.
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_02: Um, but if you're a negative person, uh you might get something home with you, so right.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_02: But I believe whatever you believe in, that's what works.
- 1:19:10SPEAKER_02: Um belief.
- 1:19:12SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_02: Uh favorite paranormal show.
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_00: Go ahead, Zach.
- 1:19:19SPEAKER_01: I I love Project Fear.
- 1:19:21SPEAKER_01: I I love I love those guys and gals.
- 1:19:23SPEAKER_01: I think they're they're fun.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_01: You know, we we love Nick Groff too.
- 1:19:27SPEAKER_01: We like to watch him every so often.
- 1:19:29SPEAKER_01: Uh, but yeah, Project Fear, we we tune in whenever they have a new show.
- 1:19:32SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I think they're they're fun.
- 1:19:35SPEAKER_01: And we met them at Mad Con and they were they were genuinely fun to talk to, and they were they were great with us, and they spent time with us.
- 1:19:42SPEAKER_01: And you know, I I I respect that.
- 1:19:44SPEAKER_01: Kalani was another guy we met at Madcon, and he was very gentle and very cool to talk to and took time.
- 1:19:50SPEAKER_01: So uh shout out to to Kalani as well.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_01: But Project Fear is probably you know, Tammy is and and mine.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_02: I I'll tell you right there, you just you knocked it right on the head.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_02: Fun.
- 1:20:01unknown: Right.
- 1:20:02SPEAKER_02: That's I think that's what people should look at.
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_02: This is a hobby, and you are supposed to have fun.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_02: A lot of people in this field take it, you should take it serious because we're messing with the unknown, right?
- 1:20:12SPEAKER_02: But doesn't mean you still can't have fun.
- 1:20:14SPEAKER_02: I mean, Project Fear is one big family, right?
- 1:20:17SPEAKER_02: They go out there and just have a good time, and that's what and they play games, trust me.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_02: You guys, my group, I love playing games, that's probably why they're not going out with me anymore.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_02: But I I have no problem blindfolding someone and locking them in a room, right?
- 1:20:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but it's that's what we need to do next, Zach.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_00: Someone's getting blindfolded and locked in a rim.
- 1:20:41SPEAKER_01: Sure, why not?
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_02: But it's not to go ahead and piss them off, it's to see what the spirits react.
- 1:20:48SPEAKER_02: You might get a reaction from them because spirits do live, you know, feed off of fear.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_02: So you said we've been doing this for a long time.
- 1:20:57SPEAKER_02: Our fear has gone down, so that's why I'm starting to do.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_02: I don't want to name it, but I want to do the scariest basements in Ohio.
- 1:21:06SPEAKER_02: Like I just want to go solo in a basement with no one else in a house.
- 1:21:09SPEAKER_02: I just did Doss House.
- 1:21:10SPEAKER_02: I was down there an hour and a half by myself before anybody came in the house because I want to feel that fear again, right?
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_01: And it's been a while, and and even Hillview at the friends and family event, we were we were broken up in teams, and it was kind of interesting because I went down to uh where um one hallway and it just felt creepy, and I was genuinely creeped out.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wasn't not gonna run out, but I was it felt it felt like I haven't felt like that in a very long time, so I I kind of got the thrill uh of that.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, Bill, what's your favorite show?
- 1:21:47SPEAKER_00: I would say probably for me it's it's two.
- 1:21:50SPEAKER_00: I I really enjoyed the holzer fouls when that those were out with uh Dave Schrader, Cindy, and um and Shane, and then uh Kindred Spirits.
- 1:21:59SPEAKER_00: Those are those are my top two.
- 1:22:02SPEAKER_00: Um I will say probably my least favorite is is Ghost Adventures.
- 1:22:09SPEAKER_00: Way too over the top now.
- 1:22:12SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, did you see that?
- 1:22:13SPEAKER_00: And of course, there's never a camera facing that way, and that was one of the first shows that I used to watch.
- 1:22:19SPEAKER_00: That and I used to watch uh taps back in the day.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_00: Um and you know, when Ghost Adventures, when they had uh uh when they first started, uh they I thought some of their evidence was legit, but anymore, I I just I can't stand it.
- 1:22:34SPEAKER_00: I really can't.
- 1:22:35SPEAKER_00: I'd love to go see his his museum, can't stand the show.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_01: Museum's awesome.
- 1:22:40SPEAKER_01: Um Jack Osborne's shows are really good too.
- 1:22:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, yeah, like Portals of Hell and all that.
- 1:22:46SPEAKER_01: I I love his shows, and I think they're very authentic.
- 1:22:49SPEAKER_01: I don't know if he still films or not, but um what about you, Ryan?
- 1:22:55SPEAKER_02: Um I like Project Fear and I like Ghost Brothers.
- 1:22:58SPEAKER_02: Ghost Brothers.
- 1:23:01SPEAKER_00: I love those guys, they're funny.
- 1:23:02SPEAKER_02: Um I do watch Ghost Adventures, but in life you do have to watch stuff to learn what not to do.
- 1:23:11SPEAKER_01: That's right, that's right.
- 1:23:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that's all that's I like that.
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:23:17SPEAKER_00: While we're on the show subject, Ryan, what what what what is the reason behind a lot of these shows moving off of like a broadcast network to like online content?
- 1:23:28SPEAKER_00: Is it just because they can have better creative control?
- 1:23:32SPEAKER_02: The from what I heard, Zach Bagans.
- 1:23:37SPEAKER_02: Okay, um Zach is the one who got Destination Fear off.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's the one that got all of them off because Pete pretty much runs Discovery Channel.
- 1:23:48SPEAKER_02: So I mean, there was one piece of equipment because you know Dakota used to be his cameraman back in the day.
- 1:23:56SPEAKER_02: So when Dakota wanted to do destination fear, Zach was all for it and was a producer of that show, but then destination fear started getting big, and that one little piece of equipment they always use that Aaron runs around with.
- 1:24:09SPEAKER_02: I don't know what it's called, but it's like the yeah, um, they wanted to use that, and Zach told them no, that's their equipment, so yeah, he kind of pushes them off, he's monopolizing, and I don't understand why, but he has a huge following.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I mean, again, money talks, so if he's bringing money into discovery, they're gonna listen to him.
- 1:24:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, we'll we'll we'll never have our own show, Bill.
- 1:24:38SPEAKER_01: But uh, you know, it's it's genuinely fun to be with one of my best friends and seeking the unknown and you know, and and putting evidence out there for others to see.
- 1:24:48SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I love seeing people's reactions when I show them content, you know.
- 1:24:52SPEAKER_01: So I I couldn't uh be more thankful to be with you and Carrie and and my family to to do this with you.
- 1:24:58SPEAKER_01: So same here, man.
- 1:25:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's that's what it's all about.
- 1:25:03SPEAKER_02: And um, I had uh Christopher Boggs on a martian on.
- 1:25:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, you know, his daughter does it, she's nine, I think.
- 1:25:13SPEAKER_02: And that's the one thing is just creating memories.
- 1:25:18SPEAKER_02: That's what it's about.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so happy Thanksgiving to you too.
- 1:25:22SPEAKER_01: Thanks, Don.
- 1:25:23SPEAKER_01: Happy Thanksgiving, yeah.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, this was this was great.
- 1:25:27SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Ryan.
- 1:25:28SPEAKER_01: I really appreciate your time and inviting us on.
- 1:25:30SPEAKER_01: This was fun.
- 1:25:32SPEAKER_02: Um but uh we're pretty far into this here, so we'll wrap this up.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 1:25:38SPEAKER_02: Um, anytime you guys go to Hillview, drop me a message.
- 1:25:42SPEAKER_02: I I have to get out there sometime.
- 1:25:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you guys come up to Madison, let me know.
- 1:25:46SPEAKER_02: I'll probably go do it again next year sometime.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_02: So I'll let you guys know when I'm gonna do that again.
- 1:25:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, swing on by and we'll we'll get together, have a good time.
- 1:25:57SPEAKER_02: And that's right.
- 1:25:58SPEAKER_02: What's all your uh do socials real quick?
- 1:26:01SPEAKER_02: What are all your socials?
- 1:26:03SPEAKER_01: Uh let's see a loon in the dark on Facebook.
- 1:26:05SPEAKER_01: That's our primary.
- 1:26:06SPEAKER_01: Uh, we do have Instagram as and TikTok as well.
- 1:26:09SPEAKER_01: Um, Tammy's our social media uh gal.
- 1:26:13SPEAKER_01: I we're more Facebook heavy.
- 1:26:15SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, it's uh treats us uh treats us well, and we're trying to get it over a thousand followers.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_01: I think we're about 14 away.
- 1:26:23SPEAKER_01: So if you want to follow us, great.
- 1:26:25SPEAKER_01: We don't we don't spam anybody's timeline too much with content, but uh if we have some good content, we'll put it out there.
- 1:26:31SPEAKER_01: You know, we're actively filling out our 2026 uh uh tour.
- 1:26:36SPEAKER_01: We we always call them tours almost like we want to be rock stars, and so we lean into the the tour, uh you know, the tour dates.
- 1:26:44SPEAKER_01: So, you know, uh next year is I think Whispers in the Dark is the is our tagline for next year.
- 1:26:50SPEAKER_01: But uh that's something we love to do, and we're gonna get uh tour t-shirts made for 2025 here.
- 1:26:55SPEAKER_01: So we'll we'll we'll be investigating with those here shortly.
- 1:26:58SPEAKER_01: So uh, but yeah, but uh Facebook's our primary.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_01: But uh Ryan, we sincerely and genuinely thank you for for having us tonight ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_01: It's meant a lot to us.
- 1:27:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I appreciate you coming on.
- 1:27:11SPEAKER_02: Have a good Thanksgiving, but I'll talk to you.
- 1:27:14SPEAKER_02: Have a good Christmas, yeah.
- 1:27:15SPEAKER_02: And 2026 is gonna be bigger than 2025.
- 1:27:18SPEAKER_01: So I think soon.
- 1:27:20SPEAKER_01: Definitely definitely keep you around, Ryan.
- 1:27:22SPEAKER_01: We'll definitely be in touch.
- 1:27:24SPEAKER_01: I appreciate it.
- 1:27:25SPEAKER_00: Thanks, Mickey Yarker, my friend.
- 1:27:27SPEAKER_01: Uh, we will always have a good one.
- 1:27:30SPEAKER_01: See everybody, thank you.
- 1:27:32SPEAKER_00: Bye bye.
- 1:27:32SPEAKER_01: Bye.
