- 0:40Speaker 1: heard that at Coachella, Like I don't know what I was.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Did you go to you in the coach? I did
- 0:44Speaker 1: not go to Coachella, but I brought my coach all
- 0:46Speaker 1: a Vibe seven you definitely do. I was an electric
- 0:50Speaker 1: blue is the it's royal, but I meant to have
- 0:54Speaker 1: like a Bundy and all that too, but I couldn't
- 0:55Speaker 1: find it. But then you would have been Indian in
- 0:57Speaker 1: that area. Tree. Do you not see what they all
- 0:59Speaker 1: do it eachalla? It's all like head pieces and face jewelry.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Clear what Coachella come up from your heritage? What's it
- 1:07Speaker 1: called Coachella? I don't know why it's called coach. That's
- 1:09Speaker 1: a great question Ferrar, but everybody goes um and it
- 1:13Speaker 1: seemed to be litting. We're gonna get into that in
- 1:14Speaker 1: case you missed it, But how was your weekend? Young bro?
- 1:17Speaker 1: My weekend was a standard weekend. I just did my
- 1:19Speaker 1: club turn up. Okay, will happen? Um after last weekend?
- 1:26Speaker 1: You know most of the year, influence of the year. Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 1: she's shotting out of town. Havn't brunch at the same time?
- 1:32Speaker 1: How was doing? No? This is great. The food was amazing,
- 1:35Speaker 1: that people were really nice, the frozen Dakris were plentiful, awesome. Yeah,
- 1:39Speaker 1: it was really good. I missed Atlanta but it was good. Well,
- 1:43Speaker 1: Atlanta missed you. I'm sure get brunch missed you. And
- 1:46Speaker 1: I want to talk about my weekend, but I want
- 1:47Speaker 1: to jump into in case you missed message message. So
- 1:55Speaker 1: um listen, y'all. I had an amazing weekend, but it
- 1:59Speaker 1: was more amazing watching Beyonce's performance. Damn, I'm talking about
- 2:05Speaker 1: this was black excellent, sophisticated, super ratchet with a twist
- 2:10Speaker 1: of oh my god, she's supernatural, and then she brought
- 2:15Speaker 1: it back full circle with the whole HBCU thing. Now
- 2:18Speaker 1: I just want to jump into it because it's been
- 2:19Speaker 1: a lot of racial tension going on in the country,
- 2:23Speaker 1: a lot of racial tension. And I want to start
- 2:27Speaker 1: by saying that she murdered it. I'm talking about the ball,
- 2:31Speaker 1: main cake with the you know Nefer td on it,
- 2:34Speaker 1: the symbol for the HBCU, she killed, the chress, she
- 2:38Speaker 1: had with the panther, the fists, the b you know
- 2:42Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. It. It's like it was overwhelming, right,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and then you saw all of this, this this pyramid.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I mean, let's get into the symbolisms. Let's get into
- 2:51Speaker 1: the symbolism. We saw the pyramid, right, But did anybody
- 2:53Speaker 1: catch the beginning of the show where she said, I
- 2:56Speaker 1: like to thank Coachella for having the first black woman
- 3:00Speaker 1: to headline the festival, and then and then I reported
- 3:05Speaker 1: that I think, uh, last year sometime we purported that
- 3:09Speaker 1: she was gonna be the first headline. Well she was,
- 3:12Speaker 1: and she said something about it, and then immediately after
- 3:14Speaker 1: she said, ain't that some ship? Ain't that some ship?
- 3:20Speaker 1: Now I'm just in my bag a little bit, very
- 3:22Speaker 1: jay Z. Yeah, very very very assertive, very assertive. But
- 3:28Speaker 1: I'm not done. So then you go through the performance
- 3:30Speaker 1: and you see the whole HPCU effort and and I'm
- 3:33Speaker 1: sure registration this fall for h b c U. In
- 3:36Speaker 1: summer classes are going to Skyros. And we've been talking
- 3:40Speaker 1: about alert show that we need, Like when we were
- 3:44Speaker 1: talking about, like when I was coming up, how you
- 3:45Speaker 1: had public enemy and you had this affinity for black
- 3:48Speaker 1: Black colleges were the thing. You have a down you
- 3:50Speaker 1: had to ride in your hair. Just I feel like
- 3:52Speaker 1: in this one performance, she took a whole another generation
- 3:56Speaker 1: put him on the back. Now, mind, let's talk about
- 3:58Speaker 1: the crist majority white people, the majority of white people
- 4:01Speaker 1: that attend. You know, Kara dell Avine is one that
- 4:06Speaker 1: doesn't support y'all know Carrod Delvin is right, Kara Delvin
- 4:09Speaker 1: is one who does not support Coachella because of some
- 4:11Speaker 1: things that I'm gonna get into. But she's white, but
- 4:14Speaker 1: the majority are white. I want to say this. She
- 4:16Speaker 1: did a step show. She did a step show. Did
- 4:20Speaker 1: y'all see the step so? No? But she not only
- 4:24Speaker 1: did a step show, but she said suck my balls.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Did you hear Beyonce say suck my balls? I didn't
- 4:31Speaker 1: watch the performance. I saw I saw Meg listen to
- 4:36Speaker 1: me Bro she said suck my bass. So let's backtrack.
- 4:54Speaker 1: She started off on the pyramid, the top of the
- 4:55Speaker 1: pyramid as the queen she is. She says, thank you
- 4:58Speaker 1: for allowing me so such and such. Ain't that some ship?
- 5:03Speaker 1: She then portrays black excellence all throughout the night. I mean,
- 5:07Speaker 1: she had crazy appearance. As her husband, she brought out
- 5:09Speaker 1: the original Destiny child. But then she did a step
- 5:12Speaker 1: show was sucked my balls. Now, I'm just getting to
- 5:15Speaker 1: a point. I want to get to my point. I
- 5:17Speaker 1: don't want to make sure I didn't put any uh
- 5:19Speaker 1: did not say anything that um I wrote down. Okay,
- 5:24Speaker 1: let's get to it. Coachella's parent company owner his name
- 5:28Speaker 1: is Philip and shuts right now, I'm not equating what
- 5:33Speaker 1: she did, how she did it, or the fact that
- 5:36Speaker 1: it was so black and excellent to the parent owner
- 5:40Speaker 1: of the parents. I'm sorry, CEO of the parent company
- 5:42Speaker 1: that owns Coachella. But there has been, according to Daily
- 5:45Speaker 1: Beasts UM an article written on Mr. I want to
- 5:50Speaker 1: say his name and shuts. I hope that's correct. Your
- 5:54Speaker 1: Coachella money is going to a right wing billionaire who
- 5:58Speaker 1: funded anti l g B E T and anti marijuana causes. Now,
- 6:05Speaker 1: this is the point in the moral of the story.
- 6:08Speaker 1: At the end of the day, we all run around
- 6:11Speaker 1: talk about how racism is running around it. Donald Trump
- 6:14Speaker 1: then welcome up, Welcome up. Right, If that wasn't the
- 6:19Speaker 1: most powerful assertive way for a black artist to inject
- 6:25Speaker 1: Black culture, to remind them how big black culture is,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know, you know what
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm saying. And we talked about leaders standing up as
- 6:37Speaker 1: a female. How do you feel about that, sup? Well,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I appreciate that she took that platform to bring in
- 6:42Speaker 1: the culture, especially with him being against you know, the
- 6:47Speaker 1: LGBT community or equality for just whoever you are, whatever background. Basically,
- 6:51Speaker 1: if you're not white and like him, he doesn't really
- 6:53Speaker 1: care about you. So I appreciate the fact that Beyonce
- 6:56Speaker 1: took the opportunity to take that platform and like demonstrate
- 6:59Speaker 1: the black culture. I do sometimes just get a little
- 7:01Speaker 1: bit conflicted with it though, because it's like, why do
- 7:04Speaker 1: we always have to demonstrate how powerful our culture is
- 7:09Speaker 1: on their platform? Because they continuously knock you down, make
- 7:15Speaker 1: you they continuously try to make you feel like your
- 7:19Speaker 1: less thing, no matter how much you contribute. I don't know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: if you're watching what's going on in the the spirits business,
- 7:24Speaker 1: like we need to support afropunk more like afro punk
- 7:27Speaker 1: needs to be as big as coaches. Don't forget. Yeah
- 7:32Speaker 1: it a forget. Beyonce did this in the Super Bowl
- 7:35Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, of course I appreciate that. But at
- 7:40Speaker 1: some point it's like I feel like we keep on
- 7:42Speaker 1: asking for their approval on their platforms, where we need
- 7:45Speaker 1: to support hours and bring them to ours, like for
- 7:48Speaker 1: Coach other to be like white people, we need to
- 7:51Speaker 1: be seeing you know, white people try to come to
- 7:53Speaker 1: afro punk, like, let's make afro punk so hot that
- 7:56Speaker 1: they want to come to us. Punk is an amazing
- 8:00Speaker 1: I want to say centric, but I don't like when
- 8:02Speaker 1: you say ecentric. Some black people are like, oh, like
- 8:04Speaker 1: it's too happy. I don't want to go. They traveled
- 8:06Speaker 1: with it, but they we had it in Atlanta. We
- 8:08Speaker 1: had like a mini festival in Atlanta. That ship we
- 8:11Speaker 1: need to support in fact, But I think that the
- 8:16Speaker 1: moral of the story and the point is that she's
- 8:19Speaker 1: the biggest artist in the world world. She's bigger than
- 8:23Speaker 1: Michael Jackson. Yeah, I don't know about that. I say
- 8:27Speaker 1: maybe because of social stuff right now, she hasn't advantage
- 8:31Speaker 1: that Michael Jackson head of Michael Jackson didn't have social media.
- 8:35Speaker 1: It wasn't social media. BA. He hasn't advantage that he
- 8:37Speaker 1: didn't have. But the advantage that Michael Jackson had was
- 8:39Speaker 1: that he had damn there all the white people like
- 8:42Speaker 1: supporting him, all of them. Yeah, he tried to See
- 8:45Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. See how we say that all
- 8:47Speaker 1: the advantages they had white people on their side, like
- 8:50Speaker 1: that mean advantages in relaying a message, but you didn't
- 8:54Speaker 1: necessarily white they accepted him. And I don't alone like
- 9:00Speaker 1: keep beating on the white and black thing. I really don't.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But it's so evident, So it's so in your face,
- 9:07Speaker 1: it's so real that we have to, like you said, one,
- 9:11Speaker 1: we have to, well, I like to. I would talk
- 9:14Speaker 1: about it one, So let's talk about it. But I
- 9:18Speaker 1: would like to believe that everyone is equal. I would
- 9:20Speaker 1: like to believe that the thought process and the ideas
- 9:22Speaker 1: that quote unquote America was built on are you know,
- 9:25Speaker 1: will some day become true. But they have not been
- 9:27Speaker 1: true to day. They have not been you know, and
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's been almost like a fantasy of sorts. And you
- 9:34Speaker 1: know what I mean, it's for big shout to meet
- 9:37Speaker 1: mail and the fact that he got a new trial
- 9:39Speaker 1: because that will I'm sure go in his favor. Now
- 9:44Speaker 1: that you have all these prominent people, and I love
- 9:46Speaker 1: the fact that the Patriots owner and one of the
- 9:49Speaker 1: owners came in and met with him and spoke to
- 9:52Speaker 1: him and talked about how unfair these laws are. And
- 9:56Speaker 1: that's another thing, like these laws and not just him,
- 9:59Speaker 1: and it wasn't us about me. I felt like, Yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 1: but even but as a young black man incarcerated, you
- 10:04Speaker 1: know what I'm saying for something so petty. The rules
- 10:06Speaker 1: are put in place to be about it by but
- 10:08Speaker 1: that was a petty, petty reason to put him um
- 10:11Speaker 1: in jail. And I think even two, with these marijuana laws,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you have so many people incarcerated, you know, I'm talking
- 10:18Speaker 1: about for their participation and selling weed. Okay, so what
- 10:22Speaker 1: are we doing to on the West coast? Yeah? What
- 10:26Speaker 1: all people are now? I mean, I mean the majority
- 10:28Speaker 1: of the the and this is the trick back again,
- 10:30Speaker 1: the majority of the licenses because you know, when it
- 10:32Speaker 1: comes to a state, they issue certain licenses for people
- 10:35Speaker 1: to grow. I would wonder and bet that the top
- 10:38Speaker 1: nine of them are white. I'm talking about. But all
- 10:41Speaker 1: these black and brown people are locked up because of
- 10:46Speaker 1: this previously hard right, So what are we doing to
- 10:50Speaker 1: these these sentences? What are we doing to adjust you
- 10:54Speaker 1: know what? What people that are? You know? I don't.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm just well, firstly, we have to go back and
- 10:59Speaker 1: then we will have to follow like an appeal or
- 11:02Speaker 1: something like that, right and all that that has to
- 11:04Speaker 1: get approved by the people who are not who are
- 11:06Speaker 1: not black. Why going through a system that just doesn't work,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Like I feel like everybody just keeps trying to go
- 11:11Speaker 1: through the process. Oh, we gotta file this, we gotta
- 11:14Speaker 1: follow that. We're doing everything that they put in place
- 11:17Speaker 1: for us to do, but it doesn't work for us.
- 11:19Speaker 1: So at some point it's like, okay, y'all, when do
- 11:21Speaker 1: we stop playing nice and following the rules and just
- 11:24Speaker 1: go for when he said, well, I mean, I think
- 11:26Speaker 1: society was built in their favor, and it's to live
- 11:29Speaker 1: in this society, you have to abide by the rules
- 11:32Speaker 1: in context right now, buying by the rules, you don't
- 11:36Speaker 1: want to go to jail. So I'm not about to
- 11:38Speaker 1: break the law, your friends, that's crazy. That's another thing.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Did you see the irate lady, the ladies, the troops
- 11:49Speaker 1: and was arrested. She got arrested. I was down and making,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and they said when they were walking into the restaurant
- 11:58Speaker 1: that they were behind them. Like, I can't believe they
- 12:00Speaker 1: left these lesbians into the you know, certain parts of making,
- 12:05Speaker 1: we're still they're allowed to be in in certain parts
- 12:09Speaker 1: of making. Just want certain parts of making. Georgia is
- 12:14Speaker 1: really welcome around there. Really, that's what the guy people
- 12:18Speaker 1: from making tell you that. No, I'm talking about Black
- 12:22Speaker 1: racism is still running making making too. But anyway, but okay,
- 12:27Speaker 1: so I'm going to go four hundred north on the
- 12:30Speaker 1: four hundred tolls and go all the way up to
- 12:32Speaker 1: the run out. I'm gonna walk around that way. Either
- 12:36Speaker 1: you've been up that way heavy going past something to
- 12:40Speaker 1: scratches it over there. I don't even want to be Yeah,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I'm speaking facts, But did y'all see the white guy.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Who's the white guy that was in Starbucks? Who's the
- 12:49Speaker 1: white guy that was talking to the potent? Wait? So
- 12:54Speaker 1: you mean to tell me that they were sitting there,
- 12:57Speaker 1: You're nothing. He's just gonna lock them up, why because
- 12:59Speaker 1: they're black? Yeah? Then the lady was like, they didn't
- 13:01Speaker 1: do anything. I was I grew up around. That's why
- 13:06Speaker 1: racist is so hard for me sometimes, because I grew
- 13:08Speaker 1: up around white people that love black people. I never
- 13:11Speaker 1: grew up how I grew up down in South Florida
- 13:14Speaker 1: and never was a lot of racial tensions. It was
- 13:17Speaker 1: just everyone just loved everyone. So when I came I
- 13:20Speaker 1: never forget. When I came to Atlanta, I was over here, like, wait,
- 13:24Speaker 1: we went to we had went to making Man, we
- 13:26Speaker 1: had did a basketball tournament making from high school, and
- 13:29Speaker 1: we stopped to get gas and our coaches like, yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: y'all get back on. We canna use the bathroom. Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I was like, I don't get it. But for some reason, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi,
- 13:38Speaker 1: them states right there, brous we welcome. We actually took
- 13:43Speaker 1: a road trip back from New Orleans and we literally
- 13:47Speaker 1: made short. We strategically made sure not to stop at
- 13:50Speaker 1: certain places, like we had to wait until we got
- 13:52Speaker 1: to a big city to get gas or use the bathroom.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Like I was like, if it's not Montgomery, we're not
- 13:57Speaker 1: stopping like you. My thing is this, you know. I
- 14:02Speaker 1: looked to Beyonce and applaud her for her efforts. I
- 14:04Speaker 1: looked at all, you know, Colin Kaepernick all the people,
- 14:07Speaker 1: all the pless leaders, all the fearless leaders out here,
- 14:11Speaker 1: you know, making a statement. But if we are responsible
- 14:15Speaker 1: for a trillion dollars in spending a year, or trillions
- 14:20Speaker 1: of dollars spending a year, if we have that type
- 14:23Speaker 1: of buying power, why are we not more whole as
- 14:27Speaker 1: as a as a culture. Why are we Where is
- 14:30Speaker 1: that money going or why is that money not going
- 14:33Speaker 1: back into the communities? Because one thing you see for sure,
- 14:36Speaker 1: in every major city in America right now we're downtown,
- 14:40Speaker 1: had the most poverty and more the more poverty was
- 14:43Speaker 1: around the inner city because we used to call it
- 14:45Speaker 1: the inner city. Everything inner city is being pushed out
- 14:50Speaker 1: to the suburbs. They want the city back. So we
- 14:52Speaker 1: had the most valuable property. Maybe we didn't own it,
- 14:55Speaker 1: but we lived, and then we could have had opportunity
- 14:57Speaker 1: in and around if we were taught better on how
- 15:00Speaker 1: to acquire property and looked at the opportunities. Um that
- 15:03Speaker 1: necessarily weren't shown to us. But new you know, because
- 15:06Speaker 1: there's research, the things you can do to research, Yes,
- 15:09Speaker 1: where you can benefit, But we gotta start, like I
- 15:12Speaker 1: just that's the thing about Oprah. This is a plea
- 15:14Speaker 1: to Oprah, there's a plea to any man woman of
- 15:18Speaker 1: color that has a lot of money. You know, I'm
- 15:21Speaker 1: talking about like, I love how you give the H
- 15:23Speaker 1: B C U S. I love how you You know
- 15:25Speaker 1: what I'm saying, put forth things for causes that are
- 15:27Speaker 1: dear to your heart. But we gotta we gotta start
- 15:30Speaker 1: owning some land. We gotta start because then then and
- 15:33Speaker 1: only then can you have like areas that you control.
- 15:36Speaker 1: If you own the land, you could police accordingly. If
- 15:39Speaker 1: you own the land, you can put the things there
- 15:41Speaker 1: that are needing the community for the community to flourish.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You know, I'm talking about with my mom my Mama
- 15:48Speaker 1: always some of this guy ain't gonna make no more land.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It's already here, That's right, Mama, Mama say, ain't no
- 15:54Speaker 1: new lands being like unless unless we're gonna go to Mars.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I mean, I don't get it, but I'm just saying
- 15:59Speaker 1: the land is already here. We gotta figure out how
- 16:01Speaker 1: to acquire it. And I'm not trying to get too
- 16:03Speaker 1: biblical or get to history oriented with y'all, but if
- 16:06Speaker 1: y'all look at civilizations and how they were made in
- 16:09Speaker 1: and and created, we did that. We did it unwillingly
- 16:13Speaker 1: here in the States. We did it in Africa and
- 16:14Speaker 1: so many different kinds of ways. The biggest continent on
- 16:18Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, in the world, and the
- 16:19Speaker 1: on the planet you know I'm talking about. So we've
- 16:22Speaker 1: done it. History has shown that we have the fortitude
- 16:25Speaker 1: and the creativity to do it. We just don't do
- 16:28Speaker 1: it like we just want to go buy some bliscyars
- 16:30Speaker 1: and the ship is killing me. They broke so many
- 16:31Speaker 1: of us that I think, like it just that break
- 16:34Speaker 1: just kind of carried on into the next generation. So
- 16:36Speaker 1: it's really gonna take for us to be strong and
- 16:38Speaker 1: like go ahead and rebuild what our culture actually is.
- 16:40Speaker 1: We're we're way better Black father aspect, because I just
- 16:45Speaker 1: remember growing up, Black fathers was like a myth where
- 16:52Speaker 1: I would like to say our generation you know what
- 16:54Speaker 1: I'm saying, it's Black fathers everywhere. Now, Yeah, I would
- 16:57Speaker 1: like to say, you know, yeah, we're coming along. It
- 16:59Speaker 1: is coming along. Nineteen years married, two kids, I understand.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I am saying to all creatives out there. I'm saying
- 17:06Speaker 1: this to y'all because I mentor, you know, mentee and
- 17:08Speaker 1: mentor y'all on the daily. Y'all are my mentees and
- 17:10Speaker 1: my brother and sister. But don't let nobody break you
- 17:14Speaker 1: or try to make you think that because you are black,
- 17:17Speaker 1: because you speak a different way, because you use the
- 17:20Speaker 1: word nigga as a term of endearment, that you're less than.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean, even with the success, I have a mask
- 17:26Speaker 1: in my life. I still go through things where people
- 17:29Speaker 1: have the second guess my ability. And it's like, at
- 17:32Speaker 1: forty five years old, with all the contribution I've made
- 17:36Speaker 1: the pop culture, you don't think I know what I'm doing.
- 17:39Speaker 1: You don't think people buying to me white, black and different.
- 17:42Speaker 1: It doesn't make sense to me how people can look
- 17:45Speaker 1: at something and categorize it black and white. Do you
- 17:49Speaker 1: realize that all of you know, these young white girls,
- 17:53Speaker 1: these young Asian girls, they love black men, black culture.
- 17:59Speaker 1: They of the Irregardless of what you think the messaging
- 18:03Speaker 1: is irregardless of what you think the coach is about,
- 18:06Speaker 1: there's something progressive in it that continuously continuously leads culture
- 18:16Speaker 1: all over the board. So I just want you all
- 18:19Speaker 1: to refuse to allow them to tag y'all and brand
- 18:23Speaker 1: y'all as something not as glorious or magnificent as you are.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Like we can't do that, and that's the end of
- 18:30Speaker 1: my case. You miss it, but it was just on
- 18:31Speaker 1: my heart because when you think about Beyonce Man what
- 18:34Speaker 1: she did at Coachella, it is super extraterrestrial and she
- 18:39Speaker 1: deserves unbelievable praise for her controversial Yeah, and now it's
- 18:46Speaker 1: time for goal man. Here we go, please, we need
- 18:51Speaker 1: to shift in the current. I my ex boyfriend abandoned
- 18:55Speaker 1: our son when I began making more money than him.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I miss him and I want to work things out.
- 19:00Speaker 1: What what do I do? Here we go? I was
- 19:04Speaker 1: recently in the two year relationships and now we have
- 19:06Speaker 1: a son together. I thought we were best friends. After
- 19:11Speaker 1: I received a knife job, a nice job. All through
- 19:13Speaker 1: my X started acting different and started to steal my things.
- 19:18Speaker 1: He didn't make close to my income. After he threatened
- 19:22Speaker 1: to harm himself, I decided to let him go. Now
- 19:25Speaker 1: he doesn't want to help raise our son. I am
- 19:27Speaker 1: sad and I feel depressed because I love him, but
- 19:31Speaker 1: he treats me like ship and our son cries for him.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I have been trying to date and everything and everyone
- 19:37Speaker 1: makes me still want to call him and work things out.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I need advice. What do I dono? If they are black.
- 19:46Speaker 1: He's one of the broken black men that I was
- 19:48Speaker 1: talking about, And I think I could just be a
- 19:51Speaker 1: broken man. If he is black, He's gonna be one
- 19:56Speaker 1: of those broken black men I was talking about. It
- 20:01Speaker 1: sucks because women we so just we care when we
- 20:04Speaker 1: care about you. We care about you, even when you
- 20:06Speaker 1: treat us like shit, even when you abandon us because
- 20:09Speaker 1: I make more money than you. I don't even think
- 20:11Speaker 1: she wants to. She doesn't want to emasculate him. She
- 20:13Speaker 1: she wants to try to figure out how to make
- 20:15Speaker 1: it work. But he's way too insecure to get over it.
- 20:19Speaker 1: What you don't do as a man is abandoned your
- 20:22Speaker 1: family because you're a girl makes my money to you.
- 20:25Speaker 1: That makes insecurity in him. That is such a big
- 20:29Speaker 1: insecurity taking him back. Yeah, wants him. I think she
- 20:33Speaker 1: wants to. I think she cares about him, and I
- 20:35Speaker 1: think it's just like nostalgia, like she wants to. She
- 20:38Speaker 1: just wants to see him do better because she cares
- 20:39Speaker 1: about him. I think she wants to help uplift him,
- 20:41Speaker 1: and she thinks that she could do something for him.
- 20:43Speaker 1: But if you're gonna be there for him, since just
- 20:46Speaker 1: be there for him and like co parent, but you
- 20:48Speaker 1: should not be with this man intimately, Like that's not
- 20:51Speaker 1: a bird. I think she just misses him intimately, really
- 20:54Speaker 1: not think she misses the unit. The sun needs a
- 20:56Speaker 1: father intimately if he's stealing her or he's stealing her things.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And some people are dealing with some crazy ship. I
- 21:03Speaker 1: want to I'm glad you brought this up. I'm glad
- 21:04Speaker 1: this is our baller man. I was in Houston this weekend.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I forgot to shout out the aristocratic life and Junior
- 21:09Speaker 1: Martins we had a speaking engagement. Jet Lounges was crazy,
- 21:13Speaker 1: Mercy was crazy. But a friend of mine was going
- 21:16Speaker 1: through the same thing. And this is a little twist
- 21:19Speaker 1: on the story, but he came to me open. He
- 21:21Speaker 1: was like, Yo, He's like, you know, my wife had
- 21:23Speaker 1: not been separated for about six months. You know, I
- 21:26Speaker 1: made a few decisions, you know what I'm saying, and
- 21:29Speaker 1: spend some money I wasn't supposed to out the account
- 21:31Speaker 1: and she makes more money. And it's that in the
- 21:34Speaker 1: third couple of things, y'all, if you're in a relationship
- 21:38Speaker 1: with someone right, um, there are telltale signs on why
- 21:44Speaker 1: you shouldn't be with that person. And the telltale signs
- 21:47Speaker 1: didn't just start right there. The tell tale signs started
- 21:52Speaker 1: in the beginning. So if you made more money in
- 21:54Speaker 1: the beginning, if you made equal money and end up
- 21:56Speaker 1: making money more, that should never be the problem in
- 21:59Speaker 1: a relationship. Money should not be the problem your relationship.
- 22:03Speaker 1: If one of the two are making a substantial amount
- 22:07Speaker 1: or amount enough to take care of bills and do
- 22:10Speaker 1: things just in case good can't, it should be good.
- 22:13Speaker 1: But when you start using your words to demean somebody,
- 22:19Speaker 1: to make somebody feel less than, that only weakends the relationship. Right.
- 22:24Speaker 1: And so to the point of the dude stealing, if
- 22:27Speaker 1: he's stealing, he's not to be trusted. Now you're spending
- 22:32Speaker 1: some money that's y'alls, and one don't kind of sign
- 22:35Speaker 1: off on it. And it happened that was your money.
- 22:37Speaker 1: He she made a mistake. You forgive or you don't.
- 22:40Speaker 1: You said boundaries and perimeters one of the money. You
- 22:43Speaker 1: don't just be like, but somebody stealing, I don't know. Yeah, Yeah,
- 22:54Speaker 1: And we love a crackhead, even family. I'll tell you
- 22:58Speaker 1: like you'll you'll take it when you love. Yeah. But
- 23:00Speaker 1: the point I want to say about the forgiving and
- 23:03Speaker 1: the getting back piece. You can't take back your words,
- 23:06Speaker 1: and a lot of times, outside of your actions, words
- 23:08Speaker 1: are the most painful things with in relationshaking When you
- 23:12Speaker 1: tell him fuck, he ain't ship. Oh you tell somebody
- 23:15Speaker 1: you don't do ship, and then you're beating this message
- 23:18Speaker 1: in their head. That's verbal abuse, and it's hard to
- 23:22Speaker 1: jump back and be like, oh, you know what, I'm
- 23:24Speaker 1: forgiving all that. In this particular situation, for my friend,
- 23:27Speaker 1: he made a bunch of money in the beginning. She
- 23:30Speaker 1: ended up making a bunch of money. Now they're about
- 23:32Speaker 1: to even out, and now it's like, oh, should we
- 23:34Speaker 1: get back together? Hell? Now you shouldn't get back together
- 23:37Speaker 1: if y'all left based on someone making more money and
- 23:41Speaker 1: not cool because it moves you mess secure thing and
- 23:45Speaker 1: talking built together with all that money she making, Like,
- 23:48Speaker 1: give yourself something to do if if you're feeling insecure
- 23:50Speaker 1: about it, but don't abandon your family. Yeah, that was
- 23:53Speaker 1: a great topic because it literally was all my heart
- 23:56Speaker 1: and I felt bad for him because he really was broken.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Now he's extreme she she No, I'm not talking guy
- 24:02Speaker 1: of a song too, but the guy was song too
- 24:04Speaker 1: is extremely broken because he's like, damn, I put my
- 24:07Speaker 1: all into this family, you know, making moves from the family. Now,
- 24:10Speaker 1: I might not have made moves that were you know,
- 24:14Speaker 1: great moves the entire time, but the majority of things
- 24:16Speaker 1: I did intentions were good. And I think if you
- 24:19Speaker 1: have good intentions, you can get through and over anything.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Adjustments have to be made in a relationship. Relationship, you
- 24:25Speaker 1: have to pivot at certain times. What you have to
- 24:27Speaker 1: do it together. I feel so sorry for for her child.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Milk don't Yeah, that's over nostalgiers a motherfucker that that
- 24:36Speaker 1: that shouldn't have you making making you try to get
- 24:39Speaker 1: back with somebody that you don't need to be with.
- 24:41Speaker 1: And now time for coming creeping love the blue hair
- 24:49Speaker 1: about the way the blue hair is very infectious. Yeah,
- 24:53Speaker 1: Charlie's angel. We all know who that is, right, His
- 24:56Speaker 1: wife She has heard Walker to to cover for Rolling Out,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and she posts the cover and she says black love addition, yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 1: super it's super dope, and uh comment her natural high
- 25:12Speaker 1: comments after all the cheating in line, I'm interested to
- 25:14Speaker 1: see what they have to say about black love. So
- 25:17Speaker 1: of course Tammy responds, because you know she don't let
- 25:19Speaker 1: nothing slash. She said, Oh, because people make mistakes mean
- 25:22Speaker 1: they are incapable of love. I'm sure you're not perfect,
- 25:25Speaker 1: So I judge I wanted to share this one because
- 25:27Speaker 1: I feel like it just kind of goes in with
- 25:29Speaker 1: all the stuff we've been talking about, Like people make mistakes,
- 25:32Speaker 1: people are insecure, they leave their relationships, but you do
- 25:37Speaker 1: gotta fight it out when it's somebody worth fighting for,
- 25:40Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So you definitely want to
- 25:42Speaker 1: make sure you choose who you give your un conditional
- 25:47Speaker 1: love to. Man, I just hate how social media sometimes
- 25:51Speaker 1: it's portrayed. You got to portray your relationship as perfect
- 25:54Speaker 1: on social media for everybody believe you. Yeah, there ain't
- 25:59Speaker 1: nothing perfect because they don't have to. Like I mean,
- 26:01Speaker 1: it ain't like you're gonna post your checking account overdrafted that, right.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You ain't gonna post that you got cussed out by
- 26:07Speaker 1: your mama for you doing some bullshit and a man
- 26:12Speaker 1: mom had to take care of you had to spot
- 26:13Speaker 1: you for your car payment this month. I'm sure you
- 26:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna post that, and you're driving the farm. I'm
- 26:18Speaker 1: just just trying to just trying to figure it, just
- 26:20Speaker 1: keeping in one hunt dumb, you know what I'm saying, like,
- 26:22Speaker 1: come on now and stay out. I mean, people post
- 26:25Speaker 1: their relationship on their on their page. Man, hey man,
- 26:27Speaker 1: just comment. Keep moving. Man, you ain't no need for
- 26:30Speaker 1: just like you, you don't have to come. I told
- 26:33Speaker 1: you I might wratch as cousin. She'd be having a
- 26:36Speaker 1: bad as. I ain't gonna shout out because she'd be like, now,
- 26:40Speaker 1: I don't want that attention. But she got a fake
- 26:42Speaker 1: account that she having a bad day. She's going on
- 26:44Speaker 1: her fake account and she just going and just troll.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Your cousin's miserable. I'd be telling you know, but she
- 26:50Speaker 1: she had missed that she if she's having a bad day,
- 26:53Speaker 1: she goes on her fake account, then she goes and
- 26:56Speaker 1: trolls celebrity page. When she gets them bit of respond
- 26:58Speaker 1: she'd be like, yes, and why I want to I
- 27:01Speaker 1: want to ask. I want to ask a question. Why
- 27:04Speaker 1: would you not want somebody to be whole if you
- 27:07Speaker 1: got kids together? Like why you know what she told me?
- 27:12Speaker 1: She said, it just feels good to know that somebody
- 27:14Speaker 1: else ship bucked up to Wow, that's a lot of
- 27:17Speaker 1: people feel. Did you have y'all seen a new loving
- 27:19Speaker 1: hip hop by the way, I did, I did, I
- 27:23Speaker 1: did a couple of my pot list is I didn't
- 27:27Speaker 1: even mean to watch it. I do not agree with that.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Didn't I did try to get me on there about
- 27:32Speaker 1: five times. I'm saying, they try to start the original
- 27:35Speaker 1: one with my crew. But the point I'm trying to
- 27:37Speaker 1: make it it's just like you and just like you,
- 27:40Speaker 1: we know people on the show. So I'm waiting for
- 27:43Speaker 1: Unsung last night because they had the brand Newbian's Unsung
- 27:46Speaker 1: and I just slow Down was one of my favorite
- 27:48Speaker 1: joints in junior high school. So I'm listening, I'm waiting
- 27:52Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, I clicked and I'm like, oh, ship,
- 27:55Speaker 1: Rashida and Kurt dying together and the thing. So I'm
- 27:59Speaker 1: just sitting I'm sitting into the whole dialogue. Then I
- 28:01Speaker 1: see Kurt with the baby mama. And you know, back
- 28:03Speaker 1: me and my wife swore that Kurt ain't had a
- 28:06Speaker 1: baby with the mother. That's bullshit that they're playing that
- 28:09Speaker 1: for this whatever whatever whoever. I mean, he got a
- 28:12Speaker 1: baby mama, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the baby name. Okay,
- 28:16Speaker 1: so you know all the team. My point is, hold on.
- 28:19Speaker 1: My point is I'm watching the show and for the
- 28:24Speaker 1: life of me. I don't know why they let that
- 28:26Speaker 1: play out on TV. Now. I love what she is
- 28:28Speaker 1: my partner, Kurt is my partner, but like dog like
- 28:33Speaker 1: and and to be honest with you, to take a
- 28:35Speaker 1: strong will mother for me to go through that TV
- 28:38Speaker 1: ship and personal ship and so they're making their work
- 28:40Speaker 1: and I admire for that. But dog she he had
- 28:43Speaker 1: the baby mama on their time. I want to have
- 28:45Speaker 1: to baby be a part of your other children's lives,
- 28:48Speaker 1: and I want to talk to the she didn't apologize.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I'm like, dog like, you can't get no better script though,
- 28:54Speaker 1: But at the same time, script either that kind of
- 28:57Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. You know what you think though?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Is that nuts? I think the show is super scripted,
- 29:03Speaker 1: But I do think that it's scripted based off of
- 29:05Speaker 1: like there there was no getting around him having a
- 29:09Speaker 1: child outside of the marriage right there. There was no
- 29:11Speaker 1: getting out of there. It was gonna come out. I
- 29:13Speaker 1: just think there was a way around it. Just don't
- 29:16Speaker 1: put your dig in ye on TV. Um. So of course,
- 29:20Speaker 1: like the writers are like, well, shoot, we're gonna build
- 29:22Speaker 1: your script around this, and who knows what they offered
- 29:25Speaker 1: to pay them. Sometimes people, Um, I don't think Rashida's
- 29:29Speaker 1: pressed for um no punt, intend of think she's pressed
- 29:32Speaker 1: for like any money or anything. But something about Kirk
- 29:35Speaker 1: just seems a little off to me, like I don't know,
- 29:38Speaker 1: Kurt reminds not in my professional opinion, I think Kirk
- 29:45Speaker 1: is really forced to do this show. I don't really
- 29:47Speaker 1: think he kid a damn about this show. I think
- 29:49Speaker 1: maybe you're right. At first, I think he's well into it.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Now he's definitely into it. At first, he's seen kind
- 29:55Speaker 1: of like, I ain't really tripping. Let me handle the management,
- 29:58Speaker 1: let me help the business. You know what I'm saying.
- 29:59Speaker 1: What she's and he's done a hell of a jobs
- 30:01Speaker 1: and the character at the moment, I think so too.
- 30:04Speaker 1: But the baby ain't far do you go? Human child?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Held hold on, That's what I'm saying. For a reality,
- 30:13Speaker 1: it's not real. Checks is coming, though I'm shot. The
- 30:17Speaker 1: checks is coming. They're good, But how much is it? Yes,
- 30:21Speaker 1: you don't have the old baby for check. This mother's
- 30:27Speaker 1: out here, bro No, they wasn't broke. They already had.
- 30:30Speaker 1: What I'm saying, it wasn't about the money anymore. I
- 30:34Speaker 1: think I think it was just more so about the
- 30:35Speaker 1: attention like the yes, no, I should provide you access
- 30:44Speaker 1: when you want to. Everybody on the reality show things
- 30:46Speaker 1: that they want to spend off though. Everybody everybody on
- 30:49Speaker 1: a reality and they probably get time. You're gonna want
- 30:52Speaker 1: to watch because you're like, damn, I want to see
- 30:55Speaker 1: how they I can't. I can't listen. I can't I understand.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I don't understand anything that I'm we're talking about now,
- 31:01Speaker 1: the beginnings. I understand the beginning, right, Rashida is an artist.
- 31:05Speaker 1: She gets on a popular, you know show to amplify that.
- 31:09Speaker 1: He becomes this manager, gets other clients, the business is real.
- 31:13Speaker 1: At this point, they grow. My point, they start growing apart, right,
- 31:17Speaker 1: But my point is that's what separates you. These people
- 31:20Speaker 1: out here trolling your cousin all their motherfucker's be That's
- 31:23Speaker 1: what kids, My thing is if you want things to last,
- 31:30Speaker 1: everything ain't for everybody, that's all. And that's what means.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I never took one of them shows, you know what
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm saying. That's the reason I never took one of
- 31:36Speaker 1: them shows because the way they paint the picture, you
- 31:38Speaker 1: can't you can't control that. And then they'll they'll they'll
- 31:41Speaker 1: record the picture and then they'll take certain parts out
- 31:44Speaker 1: and leave certain parts exactly for the detriment of your situation.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Name one couple you know together besides and they're not
- 31:52Speaker 1: even together, they separating, not living it. The name one
- 31:54Speaker 1: couple on reality television. Go, I need answer right now,
- 31:58Speaker 1: Tiana Taylor and um they just got they just got
- 32:02Speaker 1: ome all right, And I wish I'm just saying in
- 32:06Speaker 1: the beginning, I wish them to complete that homie. But
- 32:09Speaker 1: you never know, boy, that that light, when you get
- 32:11Speaker 1: that light on, there's a curse on that that light
- 32:14Speaker 1: hits your specific situation. They nick him lights out, your
- 32:17Speaker 1: Jack's lights out. Boy, you got to be damn near
- 32:19Speaker 1: perfect out here, and you can't be because you're a human.
- 32:25Speaker 1: You're a human being and you're not. You should never
- 32:28Speaker 1: be expected of being one way all the time, having
- 32:31Speaker 1: one attitude like people have highs, lows, ups and down, sideways.
- 32:36Speaker 1: You you should be allowed to feel how you feel
- 32:38Speaker 1: at any moment. Last thing, last, we leave Chris Brown alone.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Leave him alone, Chris Brown, what happen alone? I just
- 32:46Speaker 1: wanted to see something. You just want to say, something
- 32:49Speaker 1: happen everything something to every time something happened. We got
- 32:51Speaker 1: the man. Leave alone, all right, love Barty gang and
- 32:56Speaker 1: and Barbs. Y'all, y'all leave each other alone too, since
- 32:59Speaker 1: we want to make peace, we need You could love
- 33:02Speaker 1: Nikki and Cardi at the same day. May know, May
- 33:05Speaker 1: know what? May know? That was a good point. You
- 33:07Speaker 1: could love both Cardi Damn bro. If I hold on,
- 33:13Speaker 1: I want to say something about Chris Brown, And I'm
- 33:15Speaker 1: glad you brought that up. And I'm glad and I'm
- 33:17Speaker 1: wanna say something about Cardi B. Black superheroes, all the
- 33:22Speaker 1: gate keepers. You must protect Chris Brown. You must get
- 33:27Speaker 1: Chris Brown back to stadium status. And you need to
- 33:30Speaker 1: take that man around the universe with some goddamn black
- 33:34Speaker 1: excellence around him. And I promise you the tide will change.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Cardi B. Cardi B, you supernatural, ghetto, fabrish human being
- 33:44Speaker 1: of a motherfucking beaute, you twerking with a baby in
- 33:47Speaker 1: your stomach. Coachella was unfucking believable. Do it again. No,
- 33:53Speaker 1: And I'm not mad at you. At first, I was
- 33:55Speaker 1: thinking to myself, like, she really have to working. She
- 33:58Speaker 1: opening up to divide. Now I want to say this,
- 34:03Speaker 1: that's Cardi B. Let's leave alone. If it was Beyonce.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I've been I would have been like, oh ship, but
- 34:10Speaker 1: it's Cardi b. We're here on black heroes, black gate keepers,
- 34:21Speaker 1: keep the entertainment going. Take these special individuals. Please take
- 34:26Speaker 1: them and win them, because you're not winning them. You're
- 34:29Speaker 1: accepting them. You're high five of them, but you're not
- 34:31Speaker 1: wining them. There's a difference culture, thought provoking leaders. There's
- 34:35Speaker 1: a difference. I don't know why we got so spiritually
- 34:38Speaker 1: black correct though, but it's got us own point today,
