- 0:03Speaker 1: The Bootleg keV Show. We have got some special guests
- 0:06Speaker 1: in the building, the ladies from Flow Welcome. Let's get
- 0:10Speaker 1: it out of the way immediately. I always hear that
- 0:15Speaker 1: the UK has the absolute worst, Okay, the absolutely worst,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Like you just added that you guys have really good
- 0:24Speaker 1: like ingredients, like we poison our people here in the
- 0:27Speaker 1: UK at least, like everything's like you know, edible, there's
- 0:30Speaker 1: like that every day that out there are banned. Yes,
- 0:33Speaker 1: but in terms of like you know, like what is
- 0:35Speaker 1: the thing like you guys like the fish and the
- 0:37Speaker 1: chips and like.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Traditional UK by the beat, which we still loves, like
- 0:42Speaker 2: love fish and chips.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Banger is a mash jacket potato sausage and mashed potato
- 0:50Speaker 3: and grave.
- 0:51Speaker 4: It doesn't sound nice, but it was I just got
- 0:54Speaker 4: in the.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Hole.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Is actually so good.
- 0:59Speaker 5: It's like a sausage.
- 1:01Speaker 4: It's like a sausage in like so you know Yorkshire pudding.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I ish like it's like it's pancake batter but
- 1:10Speaker 2: it's cooked.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So it's pancake batter with sausage.
- 1:15Speaker 5: But it's like it's like.
- 1:16Speaker 6: How crazy terrible it sounds you say it out loud,
- 1:19Speaker 6: that sounds diabolical.
- 1:21Speaker 5: It's a lot nicer than it's.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You guys love a good a good sausage.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Yeah, me too.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Yeah nice. I just got my twenty three and me
- 1:28Speaker 1: done a couple of years ago, and I realized that
- 1:30Speaker 1: I am predominantly UK British, so I have to go.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I always thought I was like strictly German Irish, and
- 1:39Speaker 1: now I'm like, oh shit, and I got to go
- 1:40Speaker 1: to the UK.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Amazing to come home.
- 1:42Speaker 5: It's a great reason to go.
- 1:43Speaker 3: The original Whites again, you are the original patient zero.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Anyway, Well, ladies, I saw you guys are called cella.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Did you guys have fun?
- 1:52Speaker 7: Oh it's a lot of times.
- 1:56Speaker 1: At times it's also it's like, okay, my feet hurt.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Yeah, it's hot. It's called.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Dust.
- 2:03Speaker 1: You guys had I mean, were you guys just last
- 2:05Speaker 1: weekend or both weekends or just.
- 2:06Speaker 7: We just did Friday and Saturday three days?
- 2:08Speaker 1: Is there a lot of thought into like what to
- 2:11Speaker 1: wear to Coachella as a famous person, You know people
- 2:14Speaker 1: are going to take pictures of you with you. You
- 2:16Speaker 1: got to make sure your fit's fitting.
- 2:19Speaker 7: You were to Company, Yeah, yeah, I definitely went Company.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, for sure.
- 2:23Speaker 4: I feel like that's the new like celeb Vibe, don't care.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Last year, you guys sold out the Palladium here, which
- 2:34Speaker 1: is such a big deal, such a legendary venue. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: remember I see Nipsey Hustle. I mean, I feel like
- 2:39Speaker 1: everybody has their Palladium moment in LA. You guys have
- 2:43Speaker 1: done a really good job of like doing something that
- 2:46Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of UK artists have issues with,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and that is coming to these states and selling hard tickets. Yeah,
- 2:51Speaker 1: because there's people who will stream here, but then when
- 2:53Speaker 1: they come here it's harder to tour. What do you
- 2:56Speaker 1: think about, like your guys' journey has kind of worked
- 3:00Speaker 1: so well with the US audience and when did you
- 3:03Speaker 1: realize like things were starting to work here for you guys.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Well, obviously, America is like the home of R and B,
- 3:08Speaker 3: so I feel like people really love it and understand it,
- 3:12Speaker 3: and the fact that we're British girls singing R and
- 3:15Speaker 3: B music kind of makes it a bit cooler because they.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Would say we do it very well right.
- 3:20Speaker 3: And also when it comes to selling out shows over here,
- 3:24Speaker 3: I feel like a big asset of ours are live
- 3:26Speaker 3: shows and that we sing live, so it's even better
- 3:29Speaker 3: than the music we put online.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, because I feel like we even out here. The
- 3:35Speaker 1: R and B group is like a it's kind of
- 3:37Speaker 1: a dead thing in the States, Like we grew up
- 3:39Speaker 1: listening to like Jagged Edge and Yeah Child and you
- 3:43Speaker 1: know TLC and Drew Hill and all that shit's kind
- 3:47Speaker 1: of gone like for you guys, like going like with
- 3:51Speaker 1: the group thing, like where did you guys meet? How
- 3:53Speaker 1: did you guys decide to be like, hey, look, we're
- 3:55Speaker 1: gonna do this together because all you guys are very
- 3:57Speaker 1: talented on your own.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Thank you, Well, we'll put together. But there was we
- 4:03Speaker 2: had a connection. So me and Renee went to school together. Okay,
- 4:06Speaker 2: we need Georgia on social media. And it was really
- 4:10Speaker 2: a coincidence that.
- 4:11Speaker 7: We were put together. We were tried with different girls
- 4:14Speaker 7: and me and George were tried with two other girls
- 4:16Speaker 7: for name and two other girls and it just didn't work.
- 4:18Speaker 7: And then this combination was like, wow, this was.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You guys fit.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yes, that's crazy, lucky we found this.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Well, that's all in Zinc was put together. A lot
- 4:30Speaker 1: of them were for sure, Hey, man, don't forget odd
- 4:33Speaker 1: socks basics, the only thing that's on my feet man,
- 4:37Speaker 1: or the odd socks baby, all right, and what I
- 4:38Speaker 1: love about odd Socks. First of all, I don't want
- 4:42Speaker 1: to say any other socks by name, but if you're
- 4:44Speaker 1: just throwing on you know, the good old generic tube
- 4:48Speaker 1: socks was short. So whatever it is, ankle socks, you
- 4:52Speaker 1: ain't gonna find anything more comfortable than these odd Socks
- 4:55Speaker 1: Basics or more affordable. That's right. Get a pack like
- 4:58Speaker 1: this for nine ninety nine. For nine ninety nine, odd

- 5:54Speaker 1: Can you guys tell me? Like you guys obvious? The
- 5:56Speaker 1: obvious comparisons? If you're an R and B ladies group
- 5:59Speaker 1: in twenty six is you know? I've heard people say
- 6:02Speaker 1: you're kind of like reminisce of like old school Destinies
- 6:05Speaker 1: Child or TLC. How crazy is it to get those comparisons?
- 6:08Speaker 1: And do you guys like to be compared to other
- 6:11Speaker 1: other groups?
- 6:12Speaker 3: It's definitely nice and flattering. Like the girl groups back
- 6:16Speaker 3: then just had so much quality. So to be doing
- 6:20Speaker 3: our own thing and people making that as a comparison
- 6:22Speaker 3: just means that we're doing all the little steps right.
- 6:25Speaker 5: It's good.
- 6:26Speaker 4: We love it.
- 6:27Speaker 1: What would you if you, guys could give me your
- 6:29Speaker 1: top five female groups ever? Who would you? Who would you? Collectively?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Let's put a list.
- 6:33Speaker 8: Together, charge, TLC, pussy Cat Dolls, Sugar Bases, what sugar Babe?
- 6:48Speaker 1: I just know about the Spice Girls. Yeah, it's like
- 6:51Speaker 1: the new Spice Girls.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Sugar Babes, no, I think, but actually before I think, well,
- 6:56Speaker 2: they're from two thousand, did.
- 6:58Speaker 1: You guys randomly? You guys had a like listening to
- 7:00Speaker 1: the Spices girls grown, Yes.
- 7:02Speaker 5: That was more like my mom's group. Yeah, and then she.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Just stabbed me in the heart.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Right.
- 7:08Speaker 2: It was just so cool that they all had such
- 7:11Speaker 2: distinct distinct spices ginger.
- 7:14Speaker 7: Spice like, scary spices, harsh SPEs, iconic.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Do you think they were put together too?
- 7:22Speaker 5: Yes, they were.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I think they were.
- 7:24Speaker 5: I feel like, I can't imagine.
- 7:26Speaker 3: I remember watching the Collectively Deciding.
- 7:32Speaker 7: There's a video of that auditions on YouTube.
- 7:35Speaker 4: But yeah, it's interesting.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yeah that's my era because I'm thirty nine, you're younger.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Whatever I remember watching. I watched c r L, so
- 7:44Speaker 1: I remember the Spices girl that Total Requests Live. There's
- 7:48Speaker 1: a guy named Carson Daily in the Houston introduced music
- 7:52Speaker 1: videos and they count down and then sometimes eminem would
- 7:54Speaker 1: come on and defend everybody, and then you know, and
- 7:56Speaker 1: Sync would be there and you know vibes. Yeah, Limp
- 8:00Speaker 1: Biscuit was you guys know about Limp Biscuit. You guys
- 8:03Speaker 1: don't know about Limp Biscuit.
- 8:04Speaker 4: That's such a funny name.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Listen, can I put you guys on some good American whites?
- 8:11Speaker 1: So Limp Biscuit was like they started there was like
- 8:14Speaker 1: in the late nineties, there was like rap rock.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Is so funny.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah. So this is essentially you know, the
- 8:22Speaker 1: hit list hit list of Stephen Miller Trump. Ye yeah yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 1: shout out to my guys. This is their punk rock group.
- 8:33Speaker 1: This is actually merch.
- 8:35Speaker 7: I have one.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah for sure, Yeah, that's my guy. So they
- 8:40Speaker 1: they did this rap rock thing and they did like Woodstock. Yeah,
- 8:45Speaker 1: they were huge. But they had like this is a
- 8:47Speaker 1: song called break stuff.
- 8:50Speaker 5: That Limp Biscuit yees.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So there They're lead singer was a guy named fred Durston. Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 1: He's a all time all timer, like late nineties musical
- 9:01Speaker 1: face here in the States. Obviously not like not like
- 9:04Speaker 1: you know, Spice Girls, but still so out of all
- 9:09Speaker 1: three of you ladies, if you guys are running late somewhere,
- 9:12Speaker 1: whose fault is it? Usually?
- 9:14Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's like I've at every interview, I've
- 9:16Speaker 2: just been getting catching.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Shots upon shots like I need to start wearing a
- 9:21Speaker 3: bulletproof vest.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Because it's you, that's me. Yeah, what is it?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Is?
- 9:25Speaker 7: It?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Just use well I have problems waking up, Like I
- 9:33Speaker 3: have to wake up when it's time to wake up.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I can't wake up before it's time to wake up.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So you're not a morning person.
- 9:41Speaker 3: No, I'll be honest once I'm awake up, but I
- 9:43Speaker 3: just need to wake up when it's time for me
- 9:45Speaker 3: to wake up.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Do you stay up late? Not really playing video games
- 9:51Speaker 1: like binge, watching YouTube or no? No, so you just
- 9:54Speaker 1: you just have issues getting up early.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I love sleep, It's amazing. So you gotta get at
- 9:58Speaker 1: least like six.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Hours, like I'm more around the eight to nine months.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're lit. Check you out. I wish. Oh man,
- 10:08Speaker 1: I don't remember the last time I got nine hours
- 10:10Speaker 1: of straight sleep really really probably a year. Actually no, yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 1: it's been about a year.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Okay, that's not too long. I thought you were going
- 10:17Speaker 3: to say, like twenty years.
- 10:19Speaker 5: Twenty years.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I feel like every like three months, you just need
- 10:22Speaker 3: like one of those days, one night.
- 10:24Speaker 5: To just scatter good nights.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys had the pleasure of torn with Kaylanie.
- 10:31Speaker 1: She just won an iHeart Radio Award, and you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: obviously her new album comes out.
- 10:36Speaker 7: We've had Yeah, she had her listenings today yes, but what.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Was it like touring with her? Because she's such a
- 10:45Speaker 1: great soul and you know, it's been so dope to
- 10:47Speaker 1: watch her journey over the last ten plus years.
- 10:49Speaker 5: It was really fun.
- 10:51Speaker 7: She's so recommodating. Yeah, so nice to us, so just
- 10:55Speaker 7: sweet and funny.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Did she teach you, guys any Bay Area of flavor
- 10:59Speaker 1: and of the bedestrian talk?
- 11:01Speaker 5: Or did you guys but the other day?
- 11:06Speaker 1: Oh, you guys must have just met Nico Blitz. Oh
- 11:09Speaker 1: say another Bay Area legend? Yes, yes, ye is the thing?
- 11:13Speaker 1: And then hiphi and then the hype.
- 11:19Speaker 4: We're getting lessons.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't know about hyphie. Okay. So hiphi is a
- 11:23Speaker 1: sub genre of hip hop that came out of the
- 11:26Speaker 1: Bay Area in the like let's call it like five
- 11:29Speaker 1: oh six. Do you guys know who forty is? Okay?
- 11:34Speaker 1: So this is like no, this is by the way,
- 11:35Speaker 1: this is known as the biggest hyphie song ever, even
- 11:38Speaker 1: though there's better hype songs to play. Okay, this is forty.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Tell me when to go out, tell me when to
- 11:44Speaker 1: get out. Yeah. So they used to like eat ecstasy
- 11:50Speaker 1: to that and then they would do this thing.
- 11:51Speaker 4: I was just thinking that was given so they called it.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Fizzing and they would fizz and uh and then they
- 11:58Speaker 1: would ghost ride the whip. So what they would do
- 12:00Speaker 1: is they would jump out of their car while it
- 12:04Speaker 1: was going like five miles an hour and then dance
- 12:06Speaker 1: next and they would call that when they're like this
- 12:11Speaker 1: ghost riding. So you guys don't know who mac dre is.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Huh No, this is pretty embarrassing.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I know you don't be embarrassed, you know.
- 12:17Speaker 1: With this is awesome the UK? Hey, you know what,
- 12:20Speaker 1: it's fine. I would say the last five years I've
- 12:22Speaker 1: become very, very very cozy with the UK hip hop scene.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Dave to me is one of the greatest rappers alive
- 12:29Speaker 1: and I love Central C but Davis that mother, So
- 12:31Speaker 1: shout out to the UK. Do you guys like because
- 12:34Speaker 1: like you said, like obviously R and B is when
- 12:37Speaker 1: we think of R and B, it's an American driven thing.
- 12:40Speaker 1: What is the scene like out in the UK for
- 12:42Speaker 1: the genre.
- 12:44Speaker 3: It's definitely there. Yeah, it's not as appreciated as much
- 12:47Speaker 3: as it should be, but there's definitely incredible talented R
- 12:52Speaker 3: and B singers coming out of the UK. I think
- 12:55Speaker 3: the that's just not as much love for it there,
- 13:00Speaker 3: but there's less people, you know, It's it's really hard
- 13:03Speaker 3: to be popping in the UK in the genre that's
- 13:08Speaker 3: not pop.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like they hit like Little Seams is
- 13:12Speaker 1: so good.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Yeah, even she doesn't really get enough, she's so good.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Yeah, My damn Little Siams is crazy. UK is outside
- 13:21Speaker 1: of the food. Want to eat their bullshit?
- 13:25Speaker 5: You can't even say you can't even be.
- 13:29Speaker 3: At least say it after you've been give us the
- 13:31Speaker 3: chance to put you on.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Do you guys have a foot team?
- 13:36Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Yeah, even call it soccer, didn't even call it so natural.
- 13:43Speaker 1: So who's your foot team? What's your what's your club?
- 13:46Speaker 5: My club is?
- 13:48Speaker 3: My club is Manchester City.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Do they have beef?
- 13:52Speaker 5: No?
- 13:53Speaker 4: Not really. Like Arsenal on top right.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Now, right now it's getting intense because they're both in
- 13:59Speaker 3: the running to like win the league. I think Arsenal
- 14:03Speaker 3: is still Arsenal's still at the top of the league.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Arsenal's still the top of.
- 14:06Speaker 3: The league, but that kind of bailing it.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Ay Man Raffi Law Group, newest sponsor to the blutlet
- 14:11Speaker 1: Cap podcast. Want to give some love to that man.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I just was in Arizona, just did a photo shoot
- 14:15Speaker 1: show some of those photos. While I'm talking. Man, you
- 14:18Speaker 1: already know I'm not only an endorser of RAFFI. I'm
- 14:23Speaker 1: also a client. That's right. My wife got into a
- 14:25Speaker 1: fender bender and Raffi took care of her exponentially. It
- 14:28Speaker 1: was so easy. And when I tell you, man, if
- 14:31Speaker 1: you get into an accident, maybe a little injury situation,
- 14:34Speaker 1: there's only one guy I trust, one law group I trust.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It's Raffi Law Group called six two, three, three, eight, eight,
- 14:41Speaker 1: forty three thirty three. Whether it's a car accident, a
- 14:44Speaker 1: personal injury situation, whatever the case is, they alleviate all
- 14:48Speaker 1: of the stress. They've helped over seventy thousand people in AZ. Now. Look,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I know you're driving around. You see the billboards everywhere.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You're like, Ah, is this guy just like another one
- 14:56Speaker 1: of these billboard lawyers. No, the amount of care, of
- 15:00Speaker 1: attention to detail that they do everything with, it's the best.
- 15:04Speaker 1: One more time, if you need help, you gotta call Raffi,
- 15:06Speaker 1: just like I did when my wife got into an accident. Azy,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you gotta trust Raffi, man, all Right, They're the best.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Raffi lag Group, the newest sponsor of the Bootleg cap
- 15:16Speaker 1: Podcast One more Time. Don't forget to save the number.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Call Raffi if you get into an accident. Six two, three, three,
- 15:23Speaker 1: eight eight forty three thirty three. Let's get back to
- 15:26Speaker 1: the podcast. You guys were able to work with Missy Elliott,
- 15:29Speaker 1: who's fucking a goat on her own, right, Like, how
- 15:34Speaker 1: did did she reach out to y'all? How did this happen?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Because Missy Elliott don't step out for nobody.
- 15:39Speaker 5: We were it was a big like gamble, is she
- 15:42Speaker 5: gonna do it? Is she not? But we had made
- 15:44Speaker 5: fly Girl and it was very fitting.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Obviously we sample her, so it's like, we need Missy
- 15:49Speaker 3: on the track, and we got our team to.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Ask and she said, yes, she had heard of us before.
- 15:55Speaker 3: She's been showing us love yeah on social media, which
- 15:58Speaker 3: even that like she could have stopped that.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Yeah, that was enough.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Every time she'd like common a little fire emoji heart,
- 16:03Speaker 3: we were like, oh my god.
- 16:06Speaker 5: So we thought, let's roll the dice. And then she
- 16:08Speaker 5: even agreed to be in the video.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And she's the video icon't some of the greatest videos ever.
- 16:14Speaker 3: We literally said we were refusing to do a video
- 16:17Speaker 3: if she wasn't in it. Like, can you imagine if
- 16:19Speaker 3: we just did a video and then there was just
- 16:21Speaker 3: like a cartoon or something.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy. Do you guys obviously like AI is
- 16:27Speaker 1: being used a lot. Do you guys ever run into
- 16:29Speaker 1: like a I being used in the studio at all?

- 25:44Speaker 1: mom went to pick her up from work. It was
- 25:46Speaker 1: during the day shift, and I needed to take a piss.
- 25:49Speaker 1: She snuck me through the locker room and I peed
