Morning — May 10 — IJOHN 3:8
The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. — IJOHN 3:8That is the mission statement of the incarnation. Jesus entered enemy territory not to negotiate but to demolish—disarming the principalities and powers, triumphing over them by the cross. The devil's works are sin, death, and fear, and Christ undid them all. We do not fight for victory; we fight from victory, because the Lamb has already won.
