- 0:00Speaker 1: Want more Treehouse, check out our YouTube exclusive shows at
- 0:03Speaker 1: YouTube dot com slash at Treehouse on air.
- 0:30Speaker 2: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:34Speaker 2: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Dan Olmley along with
- 0:36Speaker 2: Trade Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Welcome to the Treehouse Show.
- 0:43Speaker 2: There are many beliefs those of us have. Sometimes we
- 0:47Speaker 2: share those beliefs. Those beliefs might be political, they might
- 0:51Speaker 2: be religious, they might be socioeconomic, any number of things
- 0:57Speaker 2: that we may believe in as individuals, and they don't
- 1:00Speaker 2: all require a massive public proclamation, but sometimes they are,
- 1:09Speaker 2: as in the case of Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian has
- 1:13Speaker 2: come out and proclaimed that she now believes the moon
- 1:19Speaker 2: landing in nineteen sixty nine was fake and she did
- 1:27Speaker 2: it in the most Kim Kardashian way possible, and that
- 1:30Speaker 2: is on her television show Like so Far a Million articles,
- 1:34Speaker 2: interviews with both buzz Aldrin and the other one do.
- 1:38Speaker 1: It missus girl says, what was the scariest moment? And
- 1:41Speaker 1: he goes, there was no scary moment because it didn't happen.
- 1:44Speaker 1: It could have been scary, but it.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Wasn't because it didn't happen.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So he's gotten old and now he like slurs on
- 1:50Speaker 2: the end of dude. Yeah, so I think it didn't happen.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I'm going to go on a massive deep rive.
- 1:58Speaker 1: What's gonna Okay, go on a serious deep dive.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I sent her conspiracies all the time.
- 2:06Speaker 2: The her in that clip is actress Sarah Paulson. I
- 2:11Speaker 2: believe they're on the Hulu show Together, All's Fair, That
- 2:14Speaker 2: is Kim Kardashian's produced show whatever, which I feel sorry
- 2:19Speaker 2: for Sarah Pulson here because I'm guessing that technically that
- 2:23Speaker 2: makes Kim Kardashian her boss, so she has to kind
- 2:25Speaker 2: of go along with her boss's wacky dum be like,
- 2:28Speaker 2: oh yeah, yeah, that does sound like it's ah real quick,
- 2:33Speaker 2: Do any of us think the moon landing did not
- 2:36Speaker 2: happen for real? Oh like, not for a bit on
- 2:41Speaker 2: the show or anything, Trey Raj, do either of you
- 2:45Speaker 2: really believe we never went to the moon or didn't
- 2:47Speaker 2: go to the moon in nineteen sixty nine.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I think we went to the moon.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I've always thought we went to the moon. But oh
- 2:58Speaker 1: but well no, so I understand some of the conspiracy
- 3:04Speaker 1: theories whatever, but you now we live in a world
- 3:07Speaker 1: where both India and China have sent orbiters to the Moon. India,
- 3:10Speaker 1: in fact, it has a picture of the Apollo eleven
- 3:13Speaker 1: lander where it was left. Yeah, and both countries. You know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I don't think they would spare the United States the
- 3:23Speaker 1: embarrassment of calling it out going, you faked it.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I think they would think they were China.
- 3:31Speaker 1: China would would yo. Yeah, I think they would like that.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, in India too, like when they when they sent
- 3:38Speaker 3: their orbiter, they just opened the first Hampton in on
- 3:41Speaker 3: the Moon. So it's nice.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Right next to the orbit.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Right next to the seven eleven in the liquor store. Look.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I actually appreciate Kim Kardashian coming out in such a
- 3:58Speaker 2: public way and saying that she doesn't believe the moon
- 4:03Speaker 2: landing happened. I appreciate it when people come out as stupid,
- 4:08Speaker 2: especially when, especially when you can go to all these
- 4:13Speaker 2: experts who would be more than happy to share with
- 4:17Speaker 2: you the evidence that they have that we did in
- 4:23Speaker 2: fact go to the Moon. They can give you all
- 4:25Speaker 2: the reasoned arguments to show you that we went to
- 4:30Speaker 2: the moon. Experts from all walks of life, from fields
- 4:35Speaker 2: of expertise that most of us can never comprehend will
- 4:38Speaker 2: happily give you the evidence that, yes, we did in
- 4:41Speaker 2: fact go to the moon. But leave it to Kim
- 4:44Speaker 2: Kardashian to watch a YouTube video posted by poon Lander
- 4:48Speaker 2: sixty nine to instead of all the experts that have
- 4:53Speaker 2: the actual evidence that we did so. I appreciate the
- 4:57Speaker 2: fact that she's willing to tell all of us how
- 5:00Speaker 2: stupid she really is than you. She's a lawyer, No
- 5:04Speaker 2: she's not not yet. She has not passed the bar.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Apparently she got a sneak peek into her score and
- 5:12Speaker 3: that's when she came out and said she knows she
- 5:14Speaker 3: aced the bar.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Doesn't matter. I don't care if you ace the bar.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I know lawyers. I've known a lot of lawyers. I
- 5:20Speaker 2: know some really dumb ones.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Lawyers will tell you that a lot of lawyers are
- 5:28Speaker 1: stupid just because you can memorize, and you know, if
- 5:34Speaker 1: you have good study habits, you can m That's.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Yes, because when I think of good study habits, Kim
- 5:42Speaker 3: Kardashian is the first thing that comes to my mind.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Hey, she might be really good on flash cards.
- 5:49Speaker 3: And if flash cards played in the NFL, I'm sure
- 5:52Speaker 3: she'd be.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Great on him if you can memorize, you can probably
- 5:59Speaker 1: pass the bar.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yeah. I've known some really bright, intelligent lawyers, and I've
- 6:03Speaker 2: known some dim ones. Uh And a lot of times
- 6:08Speaker 2: when it comes to passing the bar, it really is
- 6:10Speaker 2: more of a show about how good you are. Like
- 6:12Speaker 2: Trey said about studying and remembering and taking a test.
- 6:17Speaker 2: The practice of law is very different than passing a
- 6:22Speaker 2: law exam. Uh So, I one hand, I give credit
- 6:26Speaker 2: to Kim for being able to do that. Good for you.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Even if she was a brilliant lawyer, she makes a
- 6:34Speaker 2: terrible scientist.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Well. And also you take that buzz Aldron clip. All
- 6:38Speaker 1: you have to do is do a little research and
- 6:40Speaker 1: understand that's not really that that clip was taken out
- 6:45Speaker 1: of context. And it's the same guy who actually punched
- 6:47Speaker 1: someone asking question yeah years.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And years ago. He's screaming at buzz Aldron, this guy screaming,
- 6:56Speaker 2: we didn't go to the moon. You didn't go to
- 6:58Speaker 2: the moon? Buzz responded, whether it's straight, right?
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, the moon landing people. And and then you have
- 7:07Speaker 1: their say it their dumber cousin flat earthers.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Yeah, those guys, And that's you know, I understand things
- 7:17Speaker 3: are cyclical, But how did we get back to here?
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the problem. Like we started out so many,
- 7:24Speaker 2: so many people on this planet started out as flat earthers,
- 7:27Speaker 2: and then science and math happened, and smart people happened
- 7:30Speaker 2: who studied these things. They were their entire lives and
- 7:33Speaker 2: said no, no, no, it's round. And part of the
- 7:35Speaker 2: reason we now know this isn't just because I did
- 7:37Speaker 2: some figuring, but also we had people on boats actually
- 7:42Speaker 2: started one spot and they made it back to the
- 7:45Speaker 2: same spot from the other direction. So there's proof of that.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And you're right, Raj. Now we've come full circle unintended
- 7:53Speaker 2: to where people now are back to believing that the
- 7:55Speaker 2: Earth is flat. And that's where again I appreciate when
- 7:58Speaker 2: people come out as saying Earth is flat and we
- 8:03Speaker 2: didn't go to the moon. Thank you for labeling yourself
- 8:05Speaker 2: for me. So now I know who not to turn
- 8:08Speaker 2: to when I'm looking for actual information about things.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And I got to the chance to meet two astronauts
- 8:17Speaker 3: that spoke at my university, and for whatever reason, that's
- 8:21Speaker 3: the number one question, not like you know, how did
- 8:24Speaker 3: they get involved in this and what you know, what
- 8:26Speaker 3: kind of education background they had, But it's always did
- 8:30Speaker 3: we land on the moon? And I can't tell you
- 8:33Speaker 3: how mny. So it's like I'm tired of answering this question. Yes,
- 8:37Speaker 3: and that's it. And people will still walk out of that.
- 8:39Speaker 3: People still walked out of those lectures and be like,
- 8:42Speaker 3: we didn't land on the moon. I'm like, ask the
- 8:44Speaker 3: guy who was there.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I'm more surprised at a bunch of students from Texas
- 8:48Speaker 2: State University in San Marcus. We're asking about the legitimacy
- 8:52Speaker 2: of going to the moon and not the real question
- 8:54Speaker 2: I thought they would ask, which is how do you
- 8:56Speaker 2: beer bong in space?
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yeah, they were just looking for spring break options, like
- 9:01Speaker 3: how did we go to the moon? Can you still
- 9:05Speaker 3: get chlamydia? There? That's what they were worried about.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Get that good space clamydia.
- 9:15Speaker 3: I'm sure we have it at Texas State.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Brother, Yeah, if it's on Earth, it's in San.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Marcus only, meaning the space junk.
- 9:35Speaker 4: You're in the treehouse listen is online a treehouse on

- 11:58Speaker 2: what was it you were saying about Kim and the
- 12:00Speaker 2: break and the moon landing?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Oh you just can you imagine the pillow talk between
- 12:06Speaker 1: her and Kanye?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Oh God, yes, that's the scariest part.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Then just acted those two just asking each other questions
- 12:19Speaker 2: of which neither of them have the right answer. But
- 12:22Speaker 2: they'll talk.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I've said it before, I'll say it again. I've done
- 12:28Speaker 3: it on stage. And like, the Kardashians are like bleach
- 12:32Speaker 3: if they're If you're black and they get on you, you're ruined.
- 12:39Speaker 3: She turned Kanye crazy, Like she ended Reggie Bush's career.
- 12:44Speaker 3: She turned Kanye crazy. She made ray J a billionaire.
- 12:47Speaker 3: So now she's a lawyer, Like, uh, what, look it is?
- 12:53Speaker 2: It is interesting. Some people have the Midas touch and
- 12:56Speaker 2: then there's the Kardashian touch. I can imagine the pillow
- 13:01Speaker 2: talk between Kim Kardashian and Kanye being something along the
- 13:06Speaker 2: lines of this. If you were hired by General Mills
- 13:11Speaker 2: to eliminate one piece from checks Mix, what would it be?
- 13:16Speaker 2: This is actually set the Internet on fire. This is
- 13:19Speaker 2: a real thing. General Mills hires you and you have
- 13:23Speaker 2: to decide which one to eliminate from Checksmith from chex Mix.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Which is the first to go. Is it the mini breadstick,
- 13:29Speaker 2: the ride chip, square Pretzel, corn checks, wheat checks or
- 13:32Speaker 2: circle Pretzel. It's obviously the It's the ride chip.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Ah, I was gonna go with wheat Checks.
- 13:44Speaker 2: No, it's the ride chip that needs to go. It's obvious.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Okay, really They're just gonna automatically pick the brownest one,
- 13:54Speaker 3: just saying yeah.
- 13:56Speaker 2: It's not a race thing. I mean, okay, now they'm
- 13:58Speaker 2: looking at the colors of every other their item in
- 14:00Speaker 2: the checks mixed bag. It is the darkest one. It
- 14:05Speaker 2: has nothing to do with the color Raj. It's just
- 14:07Speaker 2: the one I like the least. It's just the one
- 14:12Speaker 2: that I hate. It's just the one that I occasionally
- 14:17Speaker 2: burn yard art in front of its house.
- 14:24Speaker 3: A lot of right Chip rallies you go through their buddy.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Look, I just don't like my brown righte chips mixed
- 14:33Speaker 2: in in the second mixed in with my other delicious
- 14:37Speaker 2: items in my bag. They should have their own separate
- 14:42Speaker 2: bag of right.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Is General Mills from nineteen twenty.
- 14:51Speaker 2: I swear this is not race based. I just don't
- 14:54Speaker 2: like the way it.
- 15:00Speaker 3: The Kardashians do.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's just all the Kardashians walking around with rye chip bags,
- 15:09Speaker 2: just sucking them dry.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Then one Kardashian's got you know the mini breadstick that.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Is yeah, yeah, Courtney's got the one mini breads. This
- 15:21Speaker 2: is actually I think, I think this is fascinating. General
- 15:23Speaker 2: Mills hires you and you have to decide which one
- 15:27Speaker 2: of these to eliminate from the checks mixed bag. A
- 15:32Speaker 2: lot of people are saying the ride chip needs to go. However,
- 15:37Speaker 2: there is something to be said for the people that say,
- 15:39Speaker 2: you don't need two pretzels in there, so get rid
- 15:42Speaker 2: of one of those.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You get rid of the circle pretzel because it looks
- 15:46Speaker 1: like a butthole.
- 15:49Speaker 3: That's what the mini breadsticks for, Buddy.
- 15:51Speaker 2: That's right, it's not a whole tray, it's an opening.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Or my second would be the phallic looking mini breadstick.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I love the right chips though.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I would go with the uh. The wheat checks
- 16:16Speaker 3: is what I would take up. I'm not a fan checks.
- 16:18Speaker 2: It is interesting how you've got the pretzel. You have
- 16:21Speaker 2: two types of pretzels, and then the checks. You've got
- 16:24Speaker 2: a corn and a wheat, so two types of the
- 16:27Speaker 2: of the checks. But then just the one rye chip
- 16:29Speaker 2: and the one mini bread stick.
- 16:35Speaker 3: You fill the bag with something, Buddy, I don't know
- 16:39Speaker 3: what else it would be.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Has General Mills done a nothing but rye bag? I
- 16:45Speaker 2: feel like they have.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I what's the high end one? What's the one that uh?
- 16:54Speaker 3: I think they did?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, but theirs was the the garlic chip I think
- 16:59Speaker 2: there's like a garlic toast chip and not a ride chip.
- 17:01Speaker 2: You know why, because they know what's good.
- 17:05Speaker 3: You really have it out for Rye. What happened? Dad's
- 17:17Speaker 3: just what a weird thing to hate?
- 17:21Speaker 2: Look, my daddy hate Rye. My grandpappy hated Rye. Therefore
- 17:26Speaker 2: I hate Rye. Anti ride sentiment is learned. Okay, No
- 17:34Speaker 2: one is born hating Rye.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Like how he's saying directly to the brown guy on
- 17:44Speaker 3: the show, don't write at me, Dad. Trey's not disagreeing.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I have said I love the right chip. That's my
- 17:58Speaker 1: favorite thing.
- 17:59Speaker 2: I A lot of my friends are right.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Right matters.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Amh mm hmmm.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Do you do you have the same thoughts about Rye whiskey?
- 18:24Speaker 2: Not a fan of the Rye whiskey either, No.
- 18:27Speaker 1: A lot of people like you know, it's a little sweeter.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I just like it a little like it better, like a.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Like a bullet Rye.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Shut up.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I just wanted to see what you were.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I can see the line, and we're right on it.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Who's wee white man.

- 19:52Speaker 2: I have a little bit more on the Chex mixed
- 19:55Speaker 2: conundrum before we leave the treehouse today. Okay, uh, but
- 20:00Speaker 2: before we go out on that low note, Raja, I
- 20:05Speaker 2: want you to watch Trey's face as I say this. Okay,
- 20:09Speaker 2: all right, Trey, how do you feel when someone asks
- 20:12Speaker 2: you to take them to the airport? Yeah?
- 20:21Speaker 1: There are anger, generally because I'm gonna say no unless
- 20:29Speaker 1: we're dating or or you're my stepmother.
- 20:37Speaker 2: So unless you're dating or related, do not ask Trey
- 20:39Speaker 2: for a ride to the airport.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I have there are two things I believe when you
- 20:43Speaker 1: get to a certain age, you should not ask a
- 20:45Speaker 1: friend to do help you move take you to the airport, amen,
- 20:54Speaker 1: or you can ask, but don't be offended if they
- 20:57Speaker 1: say no. But you get to a certain age, you
- 21:00Speaker 1: should be able to afford movers and you know, get
- 21:04Speaker 1: an uber.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And if you can't afford movers, then you have two options. One,
- 21:11Speaker 2: don't move. Number two figured out, well.
- 21:18Speaker 3: What if your friend drives uper and it's like, hey,
- 21:22Speaker 3: I'll take you.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Like, that's fine, that's an arrangement. That's fine, gotcha.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Like I said, it's ok. It's okay to ask, Just
- 21:30Speaker 1: don't be offended if they say no. Gotcha, And let's
- 21:34Speaker 1: it now. If it's some like absurd at a certain point,
- 21:42Speaker 1: figure it out, because if you're like completely putting people out,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you know you're being a dick because you're trying to
- 21:50Speaker 1: save some money.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Now. I already knew that, Tray. I already knew Trey's
- 21:54Speaker 2: position on people asking for a ride to the airport
- 21:58Speaker 2: or if he would help them move, but I was
- 22:02Speaker 2: reminded of it when he sent me this from Reddit.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Am I the a hole for not driving five to
- 22:08Speaker 2: six hours to pick up a colleague slash friend from
- 22:11Speaker 2: the airport? Do you even need the details on that?
- 22:16Speaker 3: No?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Nope?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Five to six hours hours.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Oh that's a that's that's must be la.
- 22:26Speaker 3: That's gotta be l A traffic.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I'm not sure if this story actually says the location,
- 22:34Speaker 2: but it does.
- 22:34Speaker 1: No, No, it was literally, uh it it's in the
- 22:39Speaker 1: I believe it was in the northeast. And no, it's
- 22:41Speaker 1: just one of those it's uh like two hundred miles
- 22:47Speaker 1: to the airport each way. Basically, no pass.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Am I the a hole for not driving five to
- 22:55Speaker 2: six hours to pick up a colleague or friend from me?
- 22:58Speaker 1: And there's a One of the other key points in
- 23:01Speaker 1: this is there is an option that they could take
- 23:08Speaker 1: a cab or an uber like fifty minutes to get
- 23:11Speaker 1: a train and get a train to home, but they're
- 23:17Speaker 1: trying to save money, so they want someone to come
- 23:19Speaker 1: get them.
- 23:20Speaker 2: F you.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Yeah, because the article is one of the guys, and
- 23:27Speaker 1: so there were two people wanting to be picked up.
- 23:30Speaker 1: One of the guys was appreciative for that tip. The
- 23:32Speaker 1: other one was resentful because he thought the person should
- 23:35Speaker 1: come and get them.
- 23:36Speaker 3: F you.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Oh how dare you you entitled?
- 23:39Speaker 3: Prick?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Come pick me up? Bro, f off bro.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's one thing. If it's love Field
- 23:47Speaker 1: or DFW. You know, it's not that bad, but three hours.
- 23:52Speaker 3: No, yeah, I'll but I always like to incentivize it, like, hey, man,
- 23:56Speaker 3: can you you can you come pick me up in
- 23:57Speaker 3: the airport. I'll buy lunch or I'll buy her something
- 24:01Speaker 3: like that.
- 24:02Speaker 2: But I'm not a tractable agreement. I think that's fine. Yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 2: that's especially if they're extenuating circumstances, because you know, like
- 24:09Speaker 2: in this case in the Northeast, it might be difficult
- 24:12Speaker 2: to get from the airport to your physical location of
- 24:14Speaker 2: where you're supposed to be type of situation. But there
- 24:16Speaker 2: are options. And if if it's if it's a personal trip,
- 24:22Speaker 2: then you should personally figure it out. If it's a
- 24:24Speaker 2: professional work trip type of thing, then somehow try to
- 24:27Speaker 2: figure that out. But Trey to, Yeah, go ahead, Russia.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I was gonna say, to assume somebody would drive five
- 24:33Speaker 3: to six hours for you, they're the a hole. You
- 24:37Speaker 3: shouldn't expect somebody to do that.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah, the expectation is is a real mother. So Trey,
- 24:47Speaker 2: didn't you? So you told us recently that you and
- 24:50Speaker 2: your lady that you started dating are now official. You
- 24:52Speaker 2: guys are boyfriend girlfriend Gratulations and didn't she go out
- 24:56Speaker 2: of town this past weekend? Was it a drive to
- 25:00Speaker 2: or a fly trip?
- 25:01Speaker 1: It was a fly trip.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Did she ask you to pick her up from the airport?
- 25:05Speaker 1: She did not ask, but I offered, Oh.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yeah, did she take you up on it? Yeah? Yeah,
- 25:12Speaker 2: I'm telling you, Raj, they're getting married.
- 25:17Speaker 3: And with the way they communicate, those vowels will be
- 25:19Speaker 3: very short and sweet.
- 25:27Speaker 1: No, I offered, and uh, and she she goes, you
- 25:31Speaker 1: don't have to see the thing. Take an uber or
- 25:32Speaker 1: and or like her flight? Uh got in on Sunday night.
- 25:38Speaker 1: She goes, If you don't feel like it, I'll take
- 25:39Speaker 1: an uber home whatever. I'm like, that's not especially when
- 25:42Speaker 1: it's off times. You're not sitting in traffic. It's any
- 25:46Speaker 1: big deal. But again, you know, uh, I offered. She No,
- 25:52Speaker 1: she did not ask, And I actually appreciated that.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's those little tests early on in their relationship,
- 26:01Speaker 2: traces in the corner, just going like, yeah, check another
- 26:03Speaker 2: one off. Yeah, it's awesome. Did not ask for a
- 26:08Speaker 2: ride to airport? Is it too soon to say I
- 26:12Speaker 2: love you?
- 26:16Speaker 3: She said she was going to hire movers. Fell in
- 26:18Speaker 3: love that day.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a hard time to see imagining trying
- 26:27Speaker 2: to ask for favors like that when I feel like,
- 26:29Speaker 2: as a functioning adult, not always fully functioning, but as
- 26:34Speaker 2: a mostly functioning adult, there are certain things I should
- 26:37Speaker 2: be able to accomplish on my own without asking for help.
- 26:40Speaker 2: If there are, you know, certain times it might need
- 26:42Speaker 2: a little something out of the ordinary. That might be
- 26:45Speaker 2: one thing. But yeah, I'm with you, Trey. I feel
- 26:48Speaker 2: because I know how much I have hated moving and
- 26:52Speaker 2: helping people move throughout my life that if you ask
- 26:55Speaker 2: me to move, I take it now as a personal attack,
- 26:59Speaker 2: because if you've known me for any length of time,
- 27:01Speaker 2: you probably know how much I hate to move and
- 27:04Speaker 2: have made it very obvious in conversation that I do
- 27:07Speaker 2: not like to help people move and I hate moving myself.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Do not ask me to help you move, or I'll
- 27:13Speaker 2: give you the talk.
- 27:17Speaker 3: What is what is the What is the talk?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Do not ask me to help you move?
- 27:22Speaker 3: Not just a sentence that's not a talk. That's mostly
- 27:25Speaker 3: also a threat.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I learned that from a former program director. I'm calling
- 27:35Speaker 2: it a talk, but it's or a conversation. But in
- 27:38Speaker 2: reality it's a hard statement. Uh. If you value our friendship,
- 27:42Speaker 2: do not ask me to help you move. Because that's why.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Because and here's the other thing. If you ask me
- 27:49Speaker 2: to help you move and I say yes, something's up
- 27:55Speaker 2: and you should be afraid.
- 27:58Speaker 3: That's Dan knows my diagnosis, and like, oh, I'll help
- 28:03Speaker 3: you move. Roger, you've got eight days to live. Why'd
- 28:08Speaker 3: you say, don't worry about it.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I got you.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I got you.
- 28:17Speaker 2: One last time.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I got you.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Not only will I help you move, but after you die,
- 28:22Speaker 2: I'll drive your casket to the airport. Tell them to
- 28:29Speaker 2: sit wherever you want to go. All right, let's jump
- 28:35Speaker 2: back into the bag of checks mix, shall we? So? Uh?
- 28:40Speaker 2: The thing that let the Internet on fire was the
- 28:43Speaker 2: proposition of if you were hired by General Mills to
- 28:46Speaker 2: eliminate one item from a bag of checks mix, which
- 28:51Speaker 2: is the one you choose to eliminate. Some of the
- 28:54Speaker 2: responses on this we were pretty interesting. Easy mini breadstick?
- 28:59Speaker 2: Now question, So that's one that Trey said that he
- 29:02Speaker 2: felt uncomfortable putting in his mouth? Is the many bread stick?
- 29:05Speaker 2: One of the pretzels? You don't need to We mentioned that.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Then come the rye cracker comments, the rye cracker any day?
- 29:13Speaker 2: Another one rye chip. They're gross and look like diseased toenails.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I agree with that. It does look like a diseased toenail.
- 29:22Speaker 2: That's why it looks familiar to me. It reminds me
- 29:24Speaker 2: of my papa's toe.
- 29:27Speaker 3: No, it was that discolored. Sorry, the toe, not your papa.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Now, he was very added, but he was pure bread
- 29:46Speaker 2: sticker bread stick uh, corn checks corn fed corn bread uh.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Another one against the rye chip, the rye chip there
- 29:59Speaker 2: gross looked like dies these toenails, the rye chip. I
- 30:01Speaker 2: feed that to my dog and even he doesn't like
- 30:03Speaker 2: to them. And then they are the people that defended
- 30:08Speaker 2: the ryde chip, saying there are two types of people,
- 30:10Speaker 2: those who think rye chips are the best part and
- 30:12Speaker 2: then people who are wrong. Another one says, y'all are
- 30:15Speaker 2: hating on rye chips for no reason. It's the best
- 30:17Speaker 2: one here. And the rye chip has divided the internet.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Oh what a weird time we live in.
- 30:26Speaker 2: It really is. Look, I mean, politics, religion, were divided
- 30:31Speaker 2: on so many things, and we keep finding more things
- 30:33Speaker 2: to be divided on. Next thing, you know, the rye
- 30:35Speaker 2: chip conversation is going to divide this country even more politically.
- 30:41Speaker 3: So I'm i gotta tell the story now. I like
- 30:44Speaker 3: corn checks, like that's my that's my jam. And I
- 30:47Speaker 3: was dating this girl and you know who she is,
- 30:50Speaker 3: many years ago, and she had a baggage and I
- 30:53Speaker 3: was taking just the corn and I can't tell you
- 30:55Speaker 3: how mad she got. She's like, if you want to
- 30:58Speaker 3: do that by your own bagge check And I was like,
- 31:01Speaker 3: do you do you like the corn as well? I'll share.
- 31:05Speaker 3: And it was the fact that she said, this is
- 31:07Speaker 3: where I learned it from, Like Roger doesn't share food. Uh,
- 31:11Speaker 3: it's it's I learned it from her.
- 31:13Speaker 1: She Uh.
- 31:13Speaker 3: She gave me a stern talking to for removing just
- 31:16Speaker 3: the corn checks.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I wonder, why why do you feel the need to
- 31:25Speaker 2: troll the woman you're in a relationship with by taking
- 31:29Speaker 2: the one thing out of a checks mixed bag.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Uh. I didn't know it was going to be an issue,
- 31:38Speaker 3: like like, we're grown, I can go get my own bag.
- 31:40Speaker 3: You just happen to have one, and it was the
- 31:42Speaker 3: big bag of checks mates. It wasn't like an individual
- 31:45Speaker 3: but wait, you you don't share your food, but you
- 31:49Speaker 3: were picking at hers. Well, that's where I learned it from.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I was like, okay, I'll just get my own stuff now.
- 31:53Speaker 3: And I was like, all right, that's that's if that's
- 31:56Speaker 3: how you want to play that, that's fine. She at
- 31:58Speaker 3: the same time, the same we go to McDonald's, she
- 32:02Speaker 3: reaches in that bag. I was like, that better not
- 32:03Speaker 3: be my fries. Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So so she early on she established a boundary and
- 32:09Speaker 2: then on the other side of that boundary, Raj built
- 32:12Speaker 2: a huge wall.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Yep, and he let it down. That bitch.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Raj used to share and then you know, I.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Yes, and then I got I got like, I got
- 32:31Speaker 3: a talking like like like I was a kid, like
- 32:33Speaker 3: it was an adult talking to a kid, like you know,
- 32:35Speaker 3: you're not like smack my hand. And I was like,
- 32:38Speaker 3: stop doing that. And I was like, I'll get us
- 32:40Speaker 3: another bag. I got you. Girl, I'm like, let me
- 32:46Speaker 3: how let them corn real quick? She was like, nope,
- 32:49Speaker 3: absolutely not. So every time we went out separate.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Food, I'd like, I'd like to do a quick hat
- 32:56Speaker 2: tip to my father for before his passing. On the holidays,
- 33:01Speaker 2: he would always make not Chex mix, but he would
- 33:04Speaker 2: make Chris Picks mix. Remember the Chrispick cereal. So instead
- 33:08Speaker 2: of it being the square checks, it's sort of the
- 33:10Speaker 2: diamond shaped cris picks with the corn and the wheat
- 33:14Speaker 2: on either side.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Oh, So what he would do is he had checks
- 33:19Speaker 2: mixed that he would make for the holidays, and I
- 33:21Speaker 2: would eat that stuff like crazy. And I loved it.
- 33:25Speaker 2: And it is I'm sure it's just coincidental that part
- 33:28Speaker 2: of the reason I loved it is that it did
- 33:30Speaker 2: not have any righteous.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I feel like they had a little a little white
- 33:36Speaker 1: in it.
- 33:38Speaker 3: I just didn't know. Your dad wasn't it in a racial.
- 33:44Speaker 2: My dad was very progressive, actually, especially versive Oklahoma standards
- 33:58Speaker 2: for all things. Three houts go to Treehouse on Air
