Welcome to Bible Chat where we have.
• 0:04
Devotional conversations rooted in Scripture and relevant for
• 0:07
today, March 23rd. Courage for the heavy.
• 0:12
Days. Some days feel heavier than
• 0:14
others. You wake up already tired.
• 0:18
Your heart feels full, your thoughts feel loud.
• 0:20
And even simple things seem harder than they should.
• 0:24
Maybe it is. Stress, disappointment, fear,
• 0:26
  loneliness, pressure. Or a battle.
• 0:28
You cannot fully explain. Heavy days can make you feel
• 0:32
weak, but they can also become places where you experience the
• 0:36
strength of God in a. Deeper way Proverbs chapter 12
• 0:39
verse. 25 says anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but
• 0:43
a good word makes him. Glad that is.
• 0:46
Such an honest picture. Anxiety has weight.
• 0:49
Worry has weight. Fear has weight.
• 0:52
But so does encouragement. A good word can lift a burden.
• 0:56
It can bring light into a dark moment.
• 0:58
It can remind a. Tired heart that.
• 1:00
It is not alone then Psalm. Chapter 30. 5 verse one says
• 1:05
contend. O Lord, with those who.
• 1:07
Contend with me, fight against those who fight against me.
• 1:10
David does not pretend he is fine.
• 1:13
He brings his struggle straight to God.
• 1:16
And in judges. Chapters 4 to 5.
• 1:18
Deborah and Barack. Face a real battle, but they
• 1:21
trust God step. Forward in courage and later
• 1:24
  sing because he gave. Victory.
• 1:26
That is important because courage is not pretending the
• 1:29
  day. Is easy, courage is.
• 1:31
Choosing to trust God in the middle of the heaviness.
• 1:35
It is bringing your anxious heart to Him instead of carrying
• 1:37
it alone. It is letting his words speak.
• 1:40
Louder than your. Fear it is.
• 1:42
Taking the next. Faithful step, even if your
• 1:45
  knees. Are shaking while.
• 1:46
You take it. And maybe one of the strongest
• 1:48
things you can do on a heavy day is not to hide.
• 1:51
Talk to God, honestly. Let someone trustworthy
• 1:55
  encourage you. Speak a good.
• 1:57
Word to someone else too, sometimes God.
• 2:00
Lifts our hearts. By letting us become part of
• 2:02
lifting another person's heart. You may feel weighed down right
• 2:06
now, but you are not abandoned. God.
• 2:08
Sees the pressure, the tears, the.
• 2:10
Questions and the battles you have not even put into words.
• 2:14
He is not far from you on Heavy. Days he is.
• 2:17
Near He is strong, he. Is able to fight for you.
• 2:20
Steady you and carry. What feels too heavy for you to?
• 2:22
Carry alone heavy days, do not get the final.
• 2:25
Word God does. Let's pray, Heavenly Father.
• 2:29
Thank you for being near when my heart.
• 2:31
Feels heavy. You see every worry, every fear.
• 2:34
And every burden I carry, help me bring my anxieties to you
• 2:37
instead of holding them alone. Fight for me where?
• 2:41
I feel weak. And fill me with courage to take
• 2:43
the next step in faith. Use your word and the
• 2:45
encouragement of others to lift my heart in Jesus name, Amen.

• 4:28
By David Contend. Yahweh with those who.
• 4:31
Contend with me, fight against those who fight against me.
• 4:35
Take hold of. Shield and buckler and stand up
• 4:37
for my help. Brandish the spear and block
• 4:40
those who pursue me. Tell my soul I am your
• 4:42
  salvation. Let.
• 4:44
Those who seek. After my soul be disappointed
• 4:46
and brought to dishonor, let those who plot my ruin be turned
• 4:50
back and confounded. Let them be.
• 4:52
As chaff. Before the wind, Yahweh's Angel
• 4:54
driving them on, let their way be dark and slippery, Yahweh's
• 4:58
Angel pursuing them. For without 'cause they have.
• 5:00
Hidden their net in a pit for me.
• 5:02
Without 'cause they have dug a. Pit for my.
• 5:04
Soul let destruction. Come on him unawares.
• 5:07
Let his net that he has hidden catch himself.
• 5:10
Let him fall into that destruction.
• 5:12
My soul shall be joyful in Yahweh.
• 5:15
It shall rejoice in His salvation.
• 5:17
All my bones shall say. Yahweh, who is like you, who
• 5:20
delivers? The poor from him who is too
• 5:21
strong for him? Yes, the poor and the needy from
• 5:24
him who robs him. Unrighteous witnesses rise up.
• 5:28
They asked me about things that I don't know.
• 5:30
About they reward me evil for good to the.
• 5:32
Bereaving of my soul, but As for me when they were sick, my
• 5:36
  clothing. Was sackcloth I?
• 5:37
Afflicted my soul with fasting. My prayer returned into my own
• 5:41
bosom. I behaved myself as though it
• 5:43
had been my friend or my. Brother, I bowed.
• 5:46
Down mourning as one who mourns his mother, but in my.
• 5:49
Adversity, they rejoiced. And gathered themselves.
• 5:52
  Together, the attackers gathered themselves.
• 5:54
Together against me and I didn't know it, They tore at me and
• 5:57
didn't cease. Like the profane mockers in
• 6:00
feasts, they gnash their teeth at me.
• 6:02
Lord, how long will you look on Rescue my soul from their
• 6:05
  destruction? My precious life.
• 6:07
From the lions I will give you thanks.
• 6:09
In the great assembly I will praise you among many people.
• 6:13
Don't let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over
• 6:16
  me. Neither let those.
• 6:17
Who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.
• 6:20
For they don't speak peace. But they devise deceitful words
• 6:23
against those who are quiet in the land.
• 6:25
Yes. They open their mouth wide
• 6:26
  against me. They said.
• 6:28
Aha, aha. Or I has seen it.
• 6:30
You have seen it, Yahweh. Don't keep silent, Lord.
• 6:33
Don't be far from me. Wake up.
• 6:35
Rise up to defend me, my God, my Lord.
• 6:38
Contend for me. Vindicate me, Yahweh, my God.
• 6:40
  According to your. Righteousness.
• 6:42
Don't let them gloat over me. Don't let them say in their
• 6:45
heart, aha, that's the way we want it.
• 6:47
Don't let them say we have swallowed him up.
• 6:50
Let them be disappointed and confounded.
• 6:52
Together who rejoice. At my calamity, let them be
• 6:55
clothed with shame and dishonor, who magnify themselves against
• 6:58
me. Let those who favor my
• 7:00
  righteous. Cause.
• 7:01
Shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually,
• 7:05
may Yahweh be. Magnified, who has pleasure in
• 7:07
the prosperity of his. Servant, my tongue shall talk
• 7:10
about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.
• 7:13
Judges Chapters. 4:00 to 5:00. World English Bible the children
• 7:18
of Israel again did that which. Was evil in Yahweh's sight.
• 7:21
  When Ehud. Was dead.
• 7:23
Yahweh sold them into the hand of Jab and king of Canaan, who
• 7:26
reigned in Hazer, the captain of whose army was Sisra.
• 7:30
Who lived in? Hirosheth of the Gentiles, the
• 7:32
Children of Israel. Cried to Yahweh.
• 7:34
For he had 900 Chariots of iron, and he mightily oppressed the
• 7:38
children of Israel for 20 years now.
• 7:40
Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, judged.
• 7:44
Israel. At that time, she lived under
• 7:46
Deborah's palm tree between Rama and Bethel in the Hill Country
• 7:50
of Ephraim, and the children of Israel came up to her for
• 7:53
judgement. She sent and called Barek, the
• 7:55
son of Abenom out of Kadesh Naphtali and said to him hasn't.
• 7:59
Yahweh, the God. Of Israel commanded.
• 8:02
Go and lead. The way to Mount Taber and take
• 8:05
with you 10,000 men of the children of Naphtali and of the
• 8:07
children of Zebulun. I will draw to you.
• 8:10
To the river Kishan Sisra. The Captain.
• 8:12
Of Jabin's army, with his Chariots and his multitude.
• 8:15
And I will deliver him into your hand, Barek.
• 8:18
Said to her. If you will go with me, then I
• 8:20
will go, but if you will not go with me, I will not.
• 8:23
Go, she said. I will surely go with you.
• 8:26
Nevertheless, the journey that you take won't be for your
• 8:28
  honor. For Yahweh will sell.
• 8:30
Saisra into a woman's hand, Deborah arose and went with.
• 8:33
Barrack to Kadesh. Barrack called Zebulun and
• 8:36
Naftali. Together to Kadesh. 10,000 men
• 8:39
followed him, and Deborah went up with him.
• 8:42
Now Heber the Kennite had separated himself from the
• 8:44
  Kennites. Even from the.
• 8:46
Children of hobab Moses, brother-in-law, and had pitched
• 8:49
his tent as far as the oak in Zononem, which is by.
• 8:52
Kadesh, they told Saisra that. Barack, the son of Abenom, had
• 8:56
gone up to Mount Taber. Saisra gathered together all his
• 8:59
Chariots. Even 900 Chariots of iron and
• 9:02
all the people who were with him, from Hirosheth of the
• 9:04
Gentiles to the river Kishan. Deborah said to Barack, Go for
• 9:09
this is the. Day in which?
• 9:10
Yahweh has delivered. Saisra into your hand.
• 9:13
Hasn't Yahweh gone out before you?
• 9:15
So Barack went down from Mount Tabor and 10,000 men after him.
• 9:19
Yahweh, confused Saisra. All his Chariots and all his
• 9:22
army with the. Edge of the sword before Barack.
• 9:25
Saisra abandoned his chariot and fled away on his.
• 9:28
Feet, but Barack pursued the Chariots.
• 9:30
And the army to Hirosheth of the Gentiles, and all the army.
• 9:34
Of Saisra fell by the edge of the sword there was.
• 9:37
Not a man left. However, Saisra fled.
• 9:39
Away on his feet to the tent of Yale, the wife of Heber the
• 9:42
  Kennite. For there was.
• 9:44
Peace between Jabin the King of Hazer, and the House of Heber
• 9:47
the Kennite. Yale went out to meet Saisra and
• 9:49
said to him, Turn in my Lord, turn into me, don't be afraid.
• 9:53
He came into her into the tent, and she covered him with a rug.
• 9:57
He said to her. Please give me a little water to
• 9:59
  drink for I am. Thirsty.
• 10:02
She. Opened a container of milk and
• 10:03
gave him a drink and covered him.
• 10:05
He said. To her stand in the door of the
• 10:07
tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you and says, Is
• 10:10
there any man here, you shall say no then Yale.
• 10:14
Heber's wife. Took a tent peg and took a
• 10:16
hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the
• 10:19
pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground
• 10:22
for he. Was in a deep sleep.
• 10:23
So he fainted and died. Behold as Barack pursued Saisra
• 10:27
Yale. Came out to meet him, and said
• 10:29
to him, Come, and I will show you the man whom you seek.
• 10:32
He came to her and behold. Sisra lay dead.
• 10:35
And the tent peg was in his temples.
• 10:37
So God subdued. Jabin the king of Canaan before
• 10:40
the children of Israel. On that day, the hand of the
• 10:43
children of Israel prevailed more and more against Jabin the
• 10:46
king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
• 10:50
Then Deborah and Barack, the son of Abenom, sang on that day,
• 10:53
saying. Because the leaders took the
• 10:55
lead in Israel. Because the people offered.
• 10:58
Themselves willingly be. Blessed Yahweh here you.
• 11:01
Kings give ear you Princess, I even I will.
• 11:04
Sing to Yahweh. I will sing praise to.
• 11:06
Yahweh, the God of Israel. Yahweh.
• 11:08
When you went out of SER. When you marched out of the
• 11:10
field of Edom, the earth trembled.
• 11:12
The sky also dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water.
• 11:16
The mountains quaked at Yahweh's presence, even sign at the
• 11:19
presence of Yahweh. The God of Israel.
• 11:22
In the days of Shamgur the son of Anath.
• 11:24
In the days. Of Yale, the.
• 11:25
Highways were unoccupied. The travelers walked through
• 11:28
byways, the rulers. Ceased in Israel they ceased.
• 11:32
Until I, Deborah arose, Until I arose a mother in Israel, they.
• 11:36
Chose New Gods. Then war was in the gates.
• 11:39
Was there a shield or spear? Scene among 40. 1000 in Israel.
• 11:43
  My heart is. Toward the.
• 11:44
Governors of Israel. Who offered themselves?
• 11:46
Willingly among the. People bless Yahweh, speak you
• 11:50
who? Ride on white donkeys, you who?
• 11:51
Sit on, Rich. Carpets and you who walk by the.
• 11:54
Way. Far from the noise of Archers in
• 11:56
the places of drawing water. That they will rehearse Yahweh's
• 11:59
righteous acts, the righteous acts of His rule in Israel.
• 12:02
Then Yahweh's people went down to the.
• 12:04
  Gates awake, awake. Deborah, awake.
• 12:07
  Awake. Utter a song.
• 12:09
  Arise, Barrack. And lead.
• 12:10
Away your captives. You, son of Abenome.
• 12:13

Watercourses of Ruben there were great.
• 12:38
Resolves of heart. Why did you sit among the
• 12:40
sheepfolds? To hear the whistling for the
• 12:42
  flocks. At the.

That ancient river, the river Kishan, my soul March on with
• 13:18
strength. Then the horse hoof stamped
• 13:21
because of the prancing, the prancing of their strong ones.
• 13:24
  Curse, Maraz, said Yahweh's Angel.
• 13:26
Curse bitterly. Its inhabitants because they
• 13:29
didn't come to help. Yahweh to help Yahweh.
• 13:31
Against the mighty. Yale shall be blessed.
