- 0:09Speaker 2: The World's of Vigeon podcast Welcome to Patriots Unfiltered. My
- 0:20Speaker 2: public apology for not picking the Patriots this week. I
- 0:25Speaker 2: sincerely regret my actions. What do you think about that
- 0:28Speaker 2: strength of victory?
- 0:29Speaker 1: I don't really care.
- 0:30Speaker 3: I don't really care about any of this.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You don't feel like that now is a waste of everybody.
- 0:34Speaker 2: But people make it a point. Oh, they've got an
- 0:36Speaker 2: easy schedule.
- 0:36Speaker 1: They do, you know so because they do not compared
- 0:39Speaker 1: to Buffalo, because they have an easy schedule too. They're
- 0:41Speaker 1: in the same division. That doesn't matter. It's who you played.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Well, that's how you get your strength of victory. Do
- 0:48Speaker 2: you understand what I'm saying? Yeah, let's move on kind of.
- 0:51Speaker 2: But just because he understands it is I don't need
- 0:54Speaker 2: very elitists.
- 0:55Speaker 4: And for the record, Travis, that took me five minutes
- 0:57Speaker 4: to put together.
- 0:58Speaker 5: I don't need men manage vandage my time.
- 1:04Speaker 3: These people now, they're just acting like they were on
- 1:06Speaker 3: the band. Yeah, and I'm not for that.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Is there a chance to say the time that they're
- 1:12Speaker 2: trying to hear that. So has Brady officially retired?
- 1:17Speaker 1: I think that was that big thing we did last year.
- 1:19Speaker 1: This is Patriot.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It's Unfiltered, presented by Toyota's official website for deals by
- 1:24Speaker 2: a Toyota dot com. All right, welcome the pages Unfiltered.
- 1:29Speaker 2: It's Wednesday here Atchealette Stadium. It's Paul, it's Deuce. We'll
- 1:33Speaker 2: have a full crew eventually, but it's a it's a
- 1:36Speaker 2: crazy day here for us. It's like a Wednesday Thursday
- 1:41Speaker 2: because it's our turn the page day. But we'll also
- 1:44Speaker 2: be uh doing our picks today because we have the
- 1:47Speaker 2: game tomorrow. We'll also be going to Gronk, who is
- 1:51Speaker 2: signing a contract to retire as a Patriot officially. We'll
- 1:54Speaker 2: do that at twelve fifteen today, So we've got that
- 1:58Speaker 2: going on.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So you might have thought that we already had Gronk here. Yeah,
- 2:03Speaker 1: west Over replica from the summer. No, just kidding. It's
- 2:05Speaker 1: it's a Gronk jersey from my from my fans.
- 2:07Speaker 2: You get your uppers on. Oh those I'm just your
- 2:09Speaker 2: big shoulder. Yeah okay.
- 2:11Speaker 6: It's a great shirt and I didn't get a chance
- 2:12Speaker 6: to wear it enough anymore. So I apologize to make
- 2:14Speaker 6: an O'Brien if she's watching, Sorry Megan Connolly's slash Big
- 2:18Speaker 6: Moran May. But I know, could chance to bust out
- 2:22Speaker 6: the old jersey, you know, Hey, I hope, I hope
- 2:24Speaker 6: makes some people mad. I know people get that when
- 2:26Speaker 6: when grown men wear jerseys ridiculous mad.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I'm mad, but yeah, I don't know if mad would
- 2:31Speaker 2: be there, just disgusted, disgusted. Yeah. Anyway, so we've got
- 2:35Speaker 2: a lot to talk about. We'll start with and just
- 2:38Speaker 2: remember twelve fifteen. We're going to Gronk, assuming he's on time,
- 2:43Speaker 2: which with him. But let's turn the page to the
- 2:47Speaker 2: New York Jets.
- 2:48Speaker 1: We're going to do that.
- 2:51Speaker 2: They're in trouble. I mean, they don't have anyone. It's
- 2:56Speaker 2: all it's Breese Hall or bus.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Did I did I weigh you down?
- 3:00Speaker 7: You wore me down?
- 3:01Speaker 2: I didn't mean to, Like, you know how I try
- 3:02Speaker 2: to like have every opponent in the Bill Belichick style
- 3:06Speaker 2: their due. You don't want to, like, you know, overlook anyone.
- 3:11Speaker 2: But I mean, even on defense, which was the only
- 3:15Speaker 2: thing kind of holding them together up to this point,
- 3:19Speaker 2: they didn't even have that other cornerback. They shipped off
- 3:22Speaker 2: a lot of good players.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But look, it's going to be year sixteen of a
- 3:27Speaker 1: thirty two year rebuild, I guess. I mean, and it's
- 3:30Speaker 1: fifteen years since they made the playoffs. There was a
- 3:34Speaker 1: Sam Darnold attempt, there was a Zach Wilson attempt. There's
- 3:37Speaker 1: going to be another attempt. You know, I don't know
- 3:39Speaker 1: who it's going to be. They're going to more unlikely
- 3:42Speaker 1: pick somebody in the top five of the upcoming draft.
- 3:46Speaker 1: They did make some moves that I think you're going
- 3:48Speaker 1: to give him a stockpile. But you know, if you're
- 3:51Speaker 1: a Jets fan, you got to think to yourself, if
- 3:54Speaker 1: I nail it, even with the quarterback, I'm probably still
- 3:57Speaker 1: at least two years away from being a playoff team.
- 4:00Speaker 1: There's not much left here. So I agree with Fred.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It's it's tough. It's a tough pill to swallow for
- 4:05Speaker 1: the Jets fans right now.
- 4:06Speaker 6: How discipline do you think they can be with that
- 4:08Speaker 6: amount of high draft capital You talk all the time
- 4:12Speaker 6: at the top, you kind of get stuck with who
- 4:14Speaker 6: the quarterbacks are in that draft. And let's say they
- 4:17Speaker 6: come to whatever it is, let's say the third overall
- 4:19Speaker 6: pick and it's the top ranked quarterback in the class,
- 4:22Speaker 6: but they don't really love them, and they know they
- 4:24Speaker 6: have more picks later. They know they have more first
- 4:26Speaker 6: rounders next year. Do you have to take the consensus
- 4:29Speaker 6: number one quarterback or you know, can you be a
- 4:31Speaker 6: little bit more.
- 4:32Speaker 2: It's funny because I stopped Barth because catch twenty two
- 4:35Speaker 2: just got over and I stopped Barth before he left.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I said, gill them.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Yeah. I said, give me the top three prospects of
- 4:41Speaker 2: this draft, and they were all defense.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he said, this is a defense draft.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yeah, this sounds like that's I've heard a couple things.
- 4:47Speaker 1: So I think the Jets because they've been burned doing
- 4:51Speaker 1: the opposite. If they've done the Zach Wilson, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: so I unless they really really like the guy, I
- 4:58Speaker 1: don't think it'll take. It's been a disappointing quarterback class.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It's not without talent, but they haven't really performed. I
- 5:06Speaker 1: think you could talk yourself into a couple of guys,
- 5:08Speaker 1: but if by were the Jets, I wouldn't be trying
- 5:10Speaker 1: to talk myself into anybody. If there's someone that they love,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you know, if Dante Moore or you know, Mendoza from
- 5:17Speaker 1: Indiana or whoever Leonora's sellers, whoever it is, if you
- 5:21Speaker 1: love them, by all means, take them. But I think
- 5:26Speaker 1: to your point, and again I keep using that one
- 5:30Speaker 1: draft that they had the three first round picks and
- 5:32Speaker 1: they hit on all three of them.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And it doesn't.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Matter because you know, because when you when you took
- 5:38Speaker 1: the quarterback, you didn't hit on the quarterback. You know,
- 5:41Speaker 1: in retrospect, you know, if you're a Jet span you
- 5:43Speaker 1: wish you held on to Sam Darnold and you put
- 5:47Speaker 1: some some support system around him with coaching.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And I used to call the Jets the New Jersey cockroaches,
- 5:53Speaker 2: and that was a compliment actually because they went away.
- 5:57Speaker 2: They never kill them. They kept coming back. But now
- 5:59Speaker 2: they've lost that Moniker. They are no longer than New
- 6:02Speaker 2: Jersey cockroaches. They've gone away.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so Mike, even like, I'm just looking at
- 6:06Speaker 1: their death shot right now, right and there's one, two, three, four, five, six,
- 6:15Speaker 1: six rookies from their draft class starting. Yeah, so like
- 6:21Speaker 1: and I'm not telling you they're like you know, I
- 6:22Speaker 1: said on defense, Well, no, there's three on offense, three
- 6:25Speaker 1: on defense, right, they're not all I mean, I think
- 6:29Speaker 1: Arman Membu has been pretty good for them at right tackle.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Mason Taylor has been, you know, a pretty good tight
- 6:35Speaker 1: end for them. You know, Arian Smith hasn't really done much.
- 6:38Speaker 1: He's going to be one of their frontline wide receivers.
- 6:41Speaker 1: He's starting because Garrett Wilson's hurt. Let's call it like
- 6:44Speaker 1: it is, but just it just illustrates like, even when
- 6:51Speaker 1: you think you have some good players, it doesn't matter
- 6:54Speaker 1: if you don't do it all well.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And their coaching hasn't been good.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I was listening to an interview this morning on one
- 6:59Speaker 1: of my shows for he coming in and there was
- 7:03Speaker 1: a question asked like if if Mike Rabel was the
- 7:06Speaker 1: Jets coach, do you think it would have made a difference,
- 7:09Speaker 1: And the guy like stopped the question in the middle.
- 7:10Speaker 1: He goes, Oh, absolutely, they'd have two or three more wins.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You know, they've they've really they've really shown the inexperience
- 7:18Speaker 1: of Aaron Glenn has really shown it at key times
- 7:22Speaker 1: in games where he's mismanaged the clock or a situation,
- 7:28Speaker 1: you know, sort of a mindset this guy. I think
- 7:31Speaker 1: it was Zach Rosenblatt from the Athletic that was the
- 7:34Speaker 1: gentleman who was on He said they would have at
- 7:37Speaker 1: least two more wins if they had better coaching.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yea, as fireman ed left the building, I'm sure he has.
- 7:44Speaker 1: He's probably the fifth time right now.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 6: But yeah, if if I was a Jets fan right now,
- 7:48Speaker 6: I would be looking at all these quarterbacks over the
- 7:50Speaker 6: next two drafts and being like, who do I absolutely love?
- 7:54Speaker 6: You know, and I mean even the Patriots got they
- 7:56Speaker 6: got stuck with Drake May but like that's how it
- 7:58Speaker 6: worked out for the Patriots?
- 7:58Speaker 2: Or who do I package try to poach from another team?
- 8:01Speaker 2: I mean, you don't like the draft is the best
- 8:04Speaker 2: way to do it? Yeah, if there's a good point,
- 8:06Speaker 2: But that's what I would do, not the way.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But what if even if like that's what i'd look.
- 8:11Speaker 6: You have the ability now to say, if you really
- 8:13Speaker 6: love a quarterback who's probably gonna go first overall, you
- 8:15Speaker 6: have the package now to make you move forget, but
- 8:18Speaker 6: you have to really believe it, right right.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, so that's the that's the draft.
- 8:22Speaker 1: So I don't even think they'll need to do that
- 8:24Speaker 1: in the draft because they're gonna pick in.
- 8:25Speaker 2: The top whatever. Yeah, that's true.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You know, they have as much of a chance of
- 8:28Speaker 1: picking number one overall as anybody else. We're going to
- 8:31Speaker 1: help them out with that tomorrow. Yeah, I mean there's
- 8:34Speaker 1: a chance they're going to go three and fourteen or something,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you know, close to that, although in true Jets fashion,
- 8:39Speaker 1: they'll probably end up with five wins, you know.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I go the Fred route.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I look at I look around and try to find
- 8:49Speaker 1: a guy. And I'm not saying this particular guy, but
- 8:52Speaker 1: Mac Jones has played reasonably well for the Niners, right,
- 8:56Speaker 1: that's a I would target a guy like that. Someone's backup. Now,
- 9:01Speaker 1: it wouldn't be.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Mac Jones back in the AFC East.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think it would be Mac Jones.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I think you've sort of seen him in the elements,
- 9:09Speaker 1: doesn't I don't. I don't think that would be a
- 9:10Speaker 1: smart move for the Jets, But you understand that.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Type of player.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm with you. I'm with your line of thinking.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Maybe maybe the forty nine ers want to keep Jones
- 9:19Speaker 2: and you go after brock Purty.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I don't know, Yeah, say I would be. I would
- 9:22Speaker 1: have the same sort of reluctance in the weather with
- 9:24Speaker 1: both of those guys. I think they're they don't have
- 9:27Speaker 1: the strongest arms, and I would worry about it. But yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 1: that's the kind of move I would be looking to make.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Just use my draft stop gap, kind of use my
- 9:35Speaker 1: draft picks, and you know, it could be a stop gap,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but it doesn't have to be. I mean, those guys
- 9:40Speaker 1: are young ish, you know, Like, I don't think Seattle
- 9:44Speaker 1: probably looks right now at Sam Donald is a stop gap.
- 9:47Speaker 1: No again, I don't think Indianapolis is looking at Daniel
- 9:50Speaker 1: Jones as a stop gap.
- 9:51Speaker 6: You feel like Baker Mayfield and Sam Donald have maybe
- 9:54Speaker 6: changed the conversation a little bit about some of those
- 9:56Speaker 6: kind of moves which some of these guys get cast
- 9:58Speaker 6: off a couple of times and most people write them
- 10:00Speaker 6: off or dead. But you've seen now a couple of
- 10:02Speaker 6: different guys. I mean, it still seems rare to me
- 10:04Speaker 6: that generally a guy fails, I don't think he's able
- 10:07Speaker 6: to play. But they're really good stories for the league.
- 10:09Speaker 6: And I don't really feel yet like it's become a
- 10:11Speaker 6: thing of now, like you know, not Gardner Minshew, but
- 10:14Speaker 6: maybe five years ago Gardner Minshew, Like those kind of guys.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Are like, I don't know, if you've got to be
- 10:19Speaker 1: a backup. See, he never really had any success. But
- 10:22Speaker 1: like Gino Smith, Sam Donald, you know Daniel Jones right now,
- 10:27Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield, while you know Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins I
- 10:32Speaker 1: would put in a different category because he kind of
- 10:33Speaker 1: had some success with Washington then he went to Minnesota
- 10:36Speaker 1: and to take me to have success, you know. But yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: you don't have to have You don't have to draft
- 10:45Speaker 1: a guy if you can figure out a way if
- 10:47Speaker 1: you don't love a guy. Now, the way to do
- 10:49Speaker 1: it is what the Patriots did. You get a guy
- 10:51Speaker 1: that you like, you take him in the draft, you
- 10:53Speaker 1: develop him, and hopefully he hits.
- 10:54Speaker 2: That's the way. That's the best way to do it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Miga Lawrence. So I think I think Evan brought up
- 11:01Speaker 1: Tarva Lawrence last week. I'd be absolutely invested in something
- 11:06Speaker 1: that right.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Gardner Minshew's on Kansas.
- 11:09Speaker 6: City, Gardner Minshew's online, one Wow. That's usually the call
- 11:13Speaker 6: we get in the post game show when they're like,
- 11:15Speaker 6: Pop Douglas is on the line, right.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Is we have Gardner Minshew? How do you not know
- 11:22Speaker 1: where I am? I had to call him. Uh, but yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 1: it's uh.
- 11:26Speaker 6: In terms of the game, though, I mean, I think
- 11:27Speaker 6: it's like we said, got to be good in the margins.
- 11:30Speaker 6: You got to be solid. You can't give up special
- 11:32Speaker 6: team scores. You can't have dumb little mistakes. I was
- 11:36Speaker 6: joking with a guy this morning. I said, this game
- 11:38Speaker 6: was meant for Anthony Jennings. Time to shine. Anthredy Jennings
- 11:42Speaker 6: like a lightly used run stopping edge player. He's got
- 11:45Speaker 6: some fresh legs. I'd put him out there a lot,
- 11:48Speaker 6: you know, but stop the run. That's gonna be a
- 11:50Speaker 6: big part of it. They were very arrest all you
- 11:53Speaker 6: have to do.
- 11:55Speaker 1: But I think, you know, to Evan's point, yes, tis
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know, a lot of people have been fixated on
- 12:00Speaker 1: the amount of yards the Jets threat. They only threw
- 12:02Speaker 1: it eleven times. Yeah, like an NFL game.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Yeah, they just do a lot of different stuff, you know,
- 12:08Speaker 6: with the quarterback, and it's just it's gonna be a
- 12:11Speaker 6: challenge for the Patriots run defense, just in the different
- 12:13Speaker 6: stuff that they're.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Gonna I mean, Justin Field's just he hasn't shown anything
- 12:18Speaker 2: as a thrower in this league.
- 12:20Speaker 1: No, No, if I were the Jets, if I were
- 12:24Speaker 1: Tanner Engstrand, I think that's how he crounces his name,
- 12:28Speaker 1: the former Lions tight pants guy. I would put on
- 12:32Speaker 1: the tape. Mike and I have talked about this for
- 12:34Speaker 1: about two weeks of the Monday night football game here
- 12:37Speaker 1: when the Chicago came in and beat the Patriots, when
- 12:39Speaker 1: Mac Jones was still here and it wasn't you know,
- 12:43Speaker 1: drop back conventional passing, but he threw the ball well
- 12:45Speaker 1: enough that night and he ran like Lamar Jackson. That's
- 12:49Speaker 1: the game plan I would try to see if the
- 12:51Speaker 1: Patriots can deal with so not just We're going to
- 12:54Speaker 1: line up and run Breese Hall twenty five times between
- 12:57Speaker 1: the tackles and see like, well, maybe it's a flu
- 13:00Speaker 1: that the Patriots run defense is number one in the league.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm not going to games. I'm not going to do that.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I'm going to try to run in different ways and
- 13:07Speaker 1: see if I can utilize the dual threat that Fields
- 13:11Speaker 1: can have. Now, he hasn't been a dual threat guy
- 13:13Speaker 1: because he can only run. Yeah, but you know, no,
- 13:16Speaker 1: it only takes one night.
- 13:17Speaker 6: That's when I remember that that game is going into
- 13:19Speaker 6: the game, we were talking about why aren't.
- 13:20Speaker 1: They running fields more? Why aren't they designing runs for him?
- 13:23Speaker 6: That was like the narrative going in because Chicago, I
- 13:25Speaker 6: don't think they'd want a game to that point.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Maybe maybe they won, but they.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Had really struggled, fields had really struggled, and you were
- 13:30Speaker 6: looking at him.
- 13:31Speaker 1: There's a couple of good plays with his feet.
- 13:33Speaker 6: We get into this game against the Patriots here and
- 13:35Speaker 6: that that was when they decided that was one.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Of the best games he was the second half that
- 13:39Speaker 2: he started running.
- 13:40Speaker 1: The whole game.
- 13:40Speaker 2: But was it the whole game? I thought like it
- 13:42Speaker 2: was kind of close, and then he started it was
- 13:45Speaker 2: close because you remember.
- 13:49Speaker 1: As well, I really don't provide anything else, right the
- 13:55Speaker 1: memory of random games. That was the bawy Zappi off
- 13:58Speaker 1: the bench game when they were booing Mac came back
- 14:02Speaker 1: from the injury. Right, So the Patriots fell behind. I think,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I want to say fourteen nothing, Bailey Zad becomes in,
- 14:08Speaker 1: he throws like a bomb to Jacoby Myers. I think
- 14:11Speaker 1: they ended up with fourteen quick points and then Zappi
- 14:14Speaker 1: started turning it over in the second half, which a lot,
- 14:16Speaker 1: but for the offensively, Chicago was pretty good the whole game. Okay,
- 14:20Speaker 1: thirty three to fourteen.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah it was.
- 14:22Speaker 1: It ended up being a blowout in the second half,
- 14:24Speaker 1: but it was I believe it was fourteen fourteen. Yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 1: probably late in the first half.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I just remember. I just from my recollection, which
- 14:32Speaker 2: isn't as good as yours. It just the second half. Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 2: I got out of him. We couldn't stop him.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I think Zapi had a couple of balls tipped at
- 14:39Speaker 1: the line, you know, I think he had a pick.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You know, they turned it over a little bit. But
- 14:44Speaker 1: that was the ze, you know, the Zappi fever can like, right,
- 14:48Speaker 1: give me some zap.
- 14:49Speaker 2: That's when it started. Yeah, okay, but yeah, so like
- 14:53Speaker 2: I said at the beginning, I try to not overlook
- 14:57Speaker 2: any opponent. You know, it's any given Sunday. They could
- 15:01Speaker 2: all be tough. The Patriots will have to do a
- 15:03Speaker 2: lot of dumb things to lose this game.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's my opinion.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And that's what Cleveland did too. And Cleveland's not half
- 15:10Speaker 2: as good as the Patriots.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And they still almost won that and they.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Ate right, and it was still fairly close.
- 15:15Speaker 1: So I would just say I did I mentioned this yesterday.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I did a little research on the Thursday nights. So
- 15:20Speaker 1: the one thing that Fred and I have been hammering
- 15:23Speaker 1: is the division game on a Thursday night they always
- 15:26Speaker 1: kind of tend to be a little closer. So I
- 15:29Speaker 1: would say, there's this is uh, you know, week eleven.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So there's been ten Thursday night games. I'm only gonna
- 15:35Speaker 1: count nine because I don't count the first one because
- 15:38Speaker 1: that's not really a Thursday night game. That's the season opener, yep,
- 15:41Speaker 1: so it's not a short week in other words, you
- 15:43Speaker 1: know what I mean. So nine Thursday night games, six
- 15:46Speaker 1: of them have been division games so far.
- 15:49Speaker 2: So good good, okay, good data set.
- 15:51Speaker 1: So they do often pit division opponents against each other
- 15:55Speaker 1: on these Thursday nights. Four out of the six will
- 15:59Speaker 1: decide it by three points or less, three points or less,
- 16:03Speaker 1: not even a touchdown. Seattle twenty three to twenty over Arizona,
- 16:07Speaker 1: San Francisco twenty six, twenty three over the Rams in overtime.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Cincinnati thirty three to thirty one over Pittsburgh, Denver ten
- 16:15Speaker 1: to seven over the Raiders. The other two games Dallas
- 16:20Speaker 1: in Buffalo, Buffalo beat Miami thirty one twenty one with
- 16:24Speaker 1: a field goal in the last thirty seconds to make
- 16:27Speaker 1: it a two score game. That game was close two
- 16:30Speaker 1: or threw a late pick which Buffalo ended up running
- 16:33Speaker 1: out the clock. Kacking a field goal to get the
- 16:34Speaker 1: two score leap.
- 16:35Speaker 2: That game was closed throughout.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And the other game was the Giants beating Philadelphia, which
- 16:40Speaker 1: it wasn't close, it was thirty four to seventeen, but
- 16:44Speaker 1: it was a major upset, right, you know, it was
- 16:46Speaker 1: the Giants beating Philadelphia. So to Fred's point, these Thursday
- 16:50Speaker 1: night games sometimes just.
- 16:52Speaker 2: They were a little screwy. Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I didn't count the Dallas Philly game because that was
- 16:56Speaker 1: the season opener, and then I could have counted that
- 17:00Speaker 1: that was a twenty four to twenty game. That's another
- 17:01Speaker 1: one that would have added to my my my dada here,
- 17:05Speaker 1: But I don't really consider that a Thursday night game
- 17:07Speaker 1: because it was the opener and no one was on
- 17:09Speaker 1: a short week. Yeah, Ittail's nice of what I say
- 17:11Speaker 1: yesterday about the Jets. Except for those two games, they're.
- 17:13Speaker 6: All been one score games, think win or lost, average
- 17:16Speaker 6: margin a defeat under four.
- 17:18Speaker 1: So they played in some of these tight games as well.
- 17:20Speaker 6: I just think fast start, you know, take their try
- 17:23Speaker 6: to take their run game out of it.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Put some points on the board.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 6: One of the rookies, you did mention Thomas the cornerback
- 17:29Speaker 6: are I believe is how you pronounced it. But he's
- 17:32Speaker 6: kind who stepped in for sauce. He did not practice
- 17:34Speaker 6: yesterday too, so they're going.
- 17:36Speaker 1: To be digging.
- 17:36Speaker 6: Even McDonald did come back to McDonald did, so we'll
- 17:40Speaker 6: see that's he's he's a good player. I mean, you know, Evan,
- 17:42Speaker 6: Evan talked about him a bunch of pressures. I think
- 17:44Speaker 6: four sacks last week. Yesterday some of the players were talking.
- 17:47Speaker 1: To say he had three sacks against the Patriots last
- 17:49Speaker 1: year and that Thursday night game.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the first quarter will dictate this game.
- 17:54Speaker 6: I agree, Fred got a couple scores, you know, just
- 17:57Speaker 6: because you can see how it would all unfold you
- 17:59Speaker 6: make a couple of mistakes. The Jets are up seven nothing,
- 18:02Speaker 6: their run game is now everything's on the table for them.
- 18:05Speaker 1: You know, it's if the Patriots can stay in control.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Put points on the board, maybe try to force them
- 18:09Speaker 6: to you go up a couple scores.
- 18:11Speaker 2: They're done because they're gonna have to throw and they can't.
- 18:14Speaker 1: So not that I would suggest, you know, the Patriots
- 18:16Speaker 1: ever do this anyway, but this is not the week
- 18:18Speaker 1: to allow the other teams opening script to be flowlishly
- 18:21Speaker 1: executed to let them go up seven.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Nothing. Well, according to your guy, but you know, Patriots
- 18:25Speaker 2: are cheating. Do you hear about that?
- 18:28Speaker 1: I did not you.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Your guy was insinuating that it's a little fishy that
- 18:32Speaker 2: they Your main guy, Yeah, your they said that they're cheating.
- 18:40Speaker 2: He didn't say the word, but he said, you know,
- 18:43Speaker 2: like it's kind of weird that they always let up
- 18:45Speaker 2: that initial touchdown then all of a sudden they clamp
- 18:49Speaker 2: down and uh you know that't No, I didn't say that. No, no,
- 18:57Speaker 2: I didn't say it.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So nikes, but come on, I'm not saying I'm just saying,
- 19:03Speaker 1: come on, yeah he is. He is beautiful. I look
- 19:06Speaker 1: forward to the uh the butt whoop. And I'm going
- 19:09Speaker 1: to take from those two today after after last week. Yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 1: because everything I said, actually the opposite happened.
- 19:15Speaker 2: So you said that, well.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I was talking about like, you know, Buffalo and you
- 19:23Speaker 1: know they go out and lose to Miami and like, yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 1: oh right, I'll take my medicine, take my medicine like
- 19:28Speaker 1: a big boy today.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Any word from Gronk Matt.
- 19:32Speaker 8: They are on the move, apparently on the move, on
- 19:35Speaker 8: the move, so momentarily I don't want to get you
- 19:38Speaker 8: on the phone I see everybody holding on, but I
- 19:41Speaker 8: don't want to get you on because you're gonna get
- 19:42Speaker 8: cut off by Gronk.
- 19:44Speaker 2: But we do have Francisco, who is our our soothsayer, correct,
- 19:49Speaker 2: the Great Francisco. I'm much respect going to name him
- 19:52Speaker 2: the Great Francisco, and I'm eager to see if if
- 19:55Speaker 2: he has a prediction for this game. But I don't
- 19:57Speaker 2: want to get to him until after Gronk. So if
- 20:00Speaker 2: you guys, I wouldn't waste one in a game like this.
- 20:02Speaker 1: But I know, right, all.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Right, let's go quick. If if we get cut off, Francisco,
- 20:07Speaker 2: you can call back. What's up, Francisco, what's going on?
- 20:12Speaker 5: Hey?
- 20:12Speaker 7: Hey?
- 20:15Speaker 9: All right?
- 20:16Speaker 10: So I mean I'm just trying to keep it short
- 20:18Speaker 10: and sweet. I mean today is special. I like growing
- 20:22Speaker 10: up like I was like ten eleven when we drafted
- 20:26Speaker 10: Gronk so and he became my favorite player of all time.
- 20:29Speaker 10: So when he broke me when he came out of
- 20:32Speaker 10: retirement and we traded him. But with that being said,
- 20:35Speaker 10: I don't know how specifically want to go. I've got
- 20:38Speaker 10: I've got to I've got to take in there. I've
- 20:40Speaker 10: got a fold take. So I've got mister Davis.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Okay, hold on, you can call back. You want to call,
- 20:50Speaker 2: just call back, call back after Gronk.
- 20:54Speaker 11: Say good afternoon everyone, and today we're going to celebrate
- 21:00Speaker 11: one of the greatest otor wear our Patriots uniform in
- 21:04Speaker 11: Rob Gronkowski. His energy, talent, and infectious joy like we
- 21:11Speaker 11: just saw, lit up the stadium and inspired Patriots nations
- 21:17Speaker 11: for nearly a decade. Like fans everywhere, I personally loved
- 21:22Speaker 11: Gronk and I treasured the unforgettable moments we shared. In
- 21:28Speaker 11: my opinion, he's actually one of a kind.
- 21:32Speaker 7: I don't think he's ever had a bad day. And
- 21:35Speaker 7: if there's true there's.
- 21:37Speaker 11: An afterlife, I think we'd all like to come back
- 21:41Speaker 11: as Gronk. Just a personal opinion. But next year, Gronk
- 21:48Speaker 11: becomes eligible for the Patriots Hall of Fame, and I'm
- 21:52Speaker 11: pretty confident our fans will make him a first ballot
- 21:56Speaker 11: suggestion I had planned to include in his work one
- 22:00Speaker 11: day contract. By the way, since we play the Jets
- 22:04Speaker 11: tomorrow night, how about a two day contract.
- 22:07Speaker 12: Let's do it.
- 22:08Speaker 11: Okay, nothing's changed, Well, so this one day contract in
- 22:20Speaker 11: our ceremony today, make sure he officially retires a Patriot.
- 22:27Speaker 11: I had planned to do that when we did the ceremony,
- 22:32Speaker 11: hopefully putting him in the Patriots Hall of Fame. We
- 22:36Speaker 11: would have done that contract then and as we all know,
- 22:41Speaker 11: is on field dominance and clutch performances were legendary and
- 22:47Speaker 11: is larger than life personality and connections with the fan
- 22:52Speaker 11: has truly made him a new England icon. A few
- 22:56Speaker 11: months ago, Robert turned to Boston to help dedicate the
- 23:00Speaker 11: playground he funded on the Esplanade. At that event, a
- 23:05Speaker 11: young lady by the name of Susan Hurley, a beloved
- 23:09Speaker 11: friend of Rob's and our organization. She was a former
- 23:15Speaker 11: Patriots cheerleader and she had cancer unfortunately and was very
- 23:24Speaker 11: ill with it, and one of her last requests right
- 23:28Speaker 11: at the ceremony donating this playground, she asked that she
- 23:34Speaker 11: said she wanted Rob to retire as a Patriot, and
- 23:39Speaker 11: I think I've heard that from fans everywhere, and I
- 23:43Speaker 11: explained to them how we had planned to do it.
- 23:47Speaker 11: But we decide to call an audible because of Susan's
- 23:53Speaker 11: request and fulfill it right away and not make it
- 23:57Speaker 11: part of that ceremony now still works on Sundays, So
- 24:03Speaker 11: we chose our first primetime game to welcome him back
- 24:07Speaker 11: and allow fans to show their appreciation for him. So
- 24:13Speaker 11: thank you, Susan. Although she won't be with us physically,
- 24:18Speaker 11: she'll be with us spiritually, and we believe she's in
- 24:22Speaker 11: our presence now. So in behalf of my family, the
- 24:26Speaker 11: Patriots Organization, fans everywhere. It's my honor to welcome back
- 24:31Speaker 11: number eighty seven, our champion, Hall of Famer and great,
- 24:37Speaker 11: great Patriot, Rob Gonkowski. So we should come and formalize
- 24:44Speaker 11: an agreement. Does anyone have any cash here so we
- 24:50Speaker 11: get the Sun voters.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Straight cash, no taxes. I'll take a briefcase. Actually I'll
- 25:01Speaker 7: just take the plane. You're so understated. You guys can
- 25:08Speaker 7: come with me. Awesome. Thank you mister Kraft for the
- 25:19Speaker 7: kind of wonderful words. And this means a lot to
- 25:23Speaker 7: me big time because I'm a I'm a New England Patriot.
- 25:27Speaker 7: I'm a Patriot for life. My career started here at
- 25:31Speaker 7: needed to end here, There's no doubt about that. I mean,
- 25:35Speaker 7: the whole Gronc persona, everything about myself was all because
- 25:39Speaker 7: of you guys, was all because of the fans here
- 25:41Speaker 7: in New England. It was all because of my teammates.
- 25:43Speaker 7: Accepting me and everyone else here, you know, just accepting
- 25:47Speaker 7: who I was from the very beginning and embracing it
- 25:49Speaker 7: and letting me just play the game of football out
- 25:51Speaker 7: on the football field, and everything established about my football
- 25:55Speaker 7: career began here. I'm here in New England as a Patriot,
- 25:59Speaker 7: so it was an absolute no brainier to come here
- 26:02Speaker 7: and retire as a Patriot, And like mister Kraft said,
- 26:05Speaker 7: we had plans to do that. You know, typically you know,
- 26:08Speaker 7: if you're going to go in the Patriots Hall of Fame,
- 26:10Speaker 7: you know, crossing my fingers, it happens in the future.
- 26:13Speaker 7: And signed the one day deal, the one day deal there,
- 26:16Speaker 7: but with the audible that mister Craft just talked about,
- 26:19Speaker 7: with the playground opening two months ago, which was very
- 26:22Speaker 7: special to me because I actually when I first retired
- 26:26Speaker 7: here as a Patriot, I wanted to get back to
- 26:28Speaker 7: the community and that's when that idea to open the
- 26:31Speaker 7: playground came about with Susan Hurley right there about a
- 26:35Speaker 7: month after I retired, I said, hey, you know, I
- 26:37Speaker 7: got the Grunt Nation Youth Foundation. We gained a lot
- 26:40Speaker 7: of money into we built up you know, over a
- 26:42Speaker 7: million dollars. Let's give it now back to the city
- 26:44Speaker 7: of Boston and that's when the idea first started and
- 26:47Speaker 7: now it's all full circle moment with it opening up.
- 26:50Speaker 7: Took about five six years, you know, with that progress
- 26:53Speaker 7: to open it up because of all you know, the
- 26:55Speaker 7: contracts and all the bills that got to pass and
- 26:57Speaker 7: all that nonsense. But it happened for the know, at
- 27:00Speaker 7: the right time, for the right reason. And then Susan
- 27:03Speaker 7: while we were there, you know, brought up Hey, like
- 27:06Speaker 7: mister Kraft said, I would love to see your retire
- 27:08Speaker 7: as a Patriot, and now we made that all the
- 27:11Speaker 7: ball and we are here today to do this one
- 27:13Speaker 7: day contract, which I think it's very reasonable. I think
- 27:17Speaker 7: it's the right play to do it as well today
- 27:20Speaker 7: and it couldn't have been a better situation this week
- 27:22Speaker 7: Thursday night football versus the Jets tomorrow night. And to
- 27:25Speaker 7: be back here in Foxborough is a blessing and an
- 27:28Speaker 7: honor and it's always a privilege to come here and
- 27:31Speaker 7: it brings back so many, so many memories, you know,
- 27:35Speaker 7: throughout my career. Just seeing a couple of guys David Andrews,
- 27:39Speaker 7: Brian Hoyer threw me my first touchdown pass, you know,
- 27:42Speaker 7: when it wasn't a regular season game, it was a
- 27:44Speaker 7: preseason game, and doesn't matter. He got the ball, He
- 27:48Speaker 7: got the ball rolling for me. He believed in me.
- 27:50Speaker 7: And then Tom saw that pass that he threw to me,
- 27:52Speaker 7: So then Tom wanted to throw me some touchdowns. The
- 27:54Speaker 7: next game, in that Rams preseason game, when I dragged
- 27:57Speaker 7: Laura Knight as five yards, the w W champion at
- 28:01Speaker 7: the time, but shelled him. I'm here to drop some elbows.
- 28:04Speaker 7: But we got Jimbo over there. Still trainer man, still
- 28:08Speaker 7: the head trainer here. I mean I gave him hell yeah,
- 28:11Speaker 7: but he's still here to support me. That's why I
- 28:13Speaker 7: love the guy. And Nancy fell asleep, all that, all that,
- 28:17Speaker 7: all that rumors out there about me taking the visit here,
- 28:20Speaker 7: it was on Nancy's desk that I fell asleep on.
- 28:23Speaker 7: And she's retiring here this year and she's a patriot
- 28:26Speaker 7: for life, bend here forever. So it's a full circle moment.
- 28:29Speaker 7: And seeing a lot of you familiar faces here as well.
- 28:32Speaker 7: Mike Reese, you know, likes his recy pieces. That's that's
- 28:37Speaker 7: our saying. We've been saying for a long time. But
- 28:40Speaker 7: uh yeah, I appreciate the craft, the crafts family, the
- 28:44Speaker 7: Patriots Foundation, and just everyone here today for this wonderful opportunity.
- 28:50Speaker 7: Open up for a.
- 28:51Speaker 13: Couple of questions.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Rot, what's your vision for the statue up front?
- 28:56Speaker 7: Oh? Oh, Tom statue? It's beautiful. Yeah, Tom's one of
- 29:02Speaker 7: a kind like Tom. I don't you're throwing me on
- 29:06Speaker 7: the spot like that? Mind? If you put one, just
- 29:10Speaker 7: put me in the end zone and me tiny, because
- 29:13Speaker 7: Tom is one of a kind, the greatest, he played
- 29:15Speaker 7: for twenty plus years here. I think that the ony
- 29:18Speaker 7: statue of to be deserved here is Tom Brady. I mean,
- 29:22Speaker 7: so I just will honor it and take pictures next
- 29:25Speaker 7: to it rather.
- 29:27Speaker 11: A moment like this obviously leads to reflection on moments.
- 29:30Speaker 12: In your playing career.
- 29:32Speaker 14: What are some of the.
- 29:33Speaker 15: Moments that stand out to you from your playing career
- 29:36Speaker 15: that mean the most teeth?
- 29:38Speaker 7: Well, I already talked about some of them with how
- 29:41Speaker 7: you're throwing me my first touchdown pass, But winning my
- 29:44Speaker 7: first super Bowl here, you know, that was always the
- 29:47Speaker 7: ultimate goal, was to win a super Bowl, and that
- 29:50Speaker 7: first one will always be my favorite one. And just
- 29:53Speaker 7: the feeling and the energy that came with it, you know,
- 29:57Speaker 7: throughout that whole entire week after that will be a
- 30:00Speaker 7: for life. The parade, the duck boats, all that, But
- 30:03Speaker 7: winning that first Super Bowl versus very you know, solid
- 30:06Speaker 7: Seattle Seahawks team when they were going for the repeat.
- 30:09Speaker 7: That memory will always, you know, be with me. And
- 30:12Speaker 7: memories with the guys, the stories with the guys in
- 30:14Speaker 7: the locker room, on the practice field. But the number
- 30:17Speaker 7: one memory is winning those Super Bowls big time rock.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Susan was an incredible force.
- 30:23Speaker 16: What was it like to have her as a friend
- 30:25Speaker 16: and to be able to do this for her?
- 30:27Speaker 7: Yes, we are one hundred percent here today for her,
- 30:31Speaker 7: no doubt about that. And she just did such a
- 30:33Speaker 7: great job just working and running a lot of people's charities.
- 30:38Speaker 7: She founded Charity Teams in two thousand and eight, and
- 30:41Speaker 7: she works and runs a lot of people's Boston Marathon
- 30:45Speaker 7: bibs for their foundations, and I'm talking over hundreds. And
- 30:48Speaker 7: she did it with ease, she did it with passion.
- 30:50Speaker 7: And when I first met her and she gave me
- 30:52Speaker 7: the opportunity to get bibs to the Boston Marathon and
- 30:56Speaker 7: the opportunity to raise money for my foundation, I knew
- 30:58Speaker 7: that she was the one. I didn't talk to anyone else.
- 31:01Speaker 7: I was like, Wow, I never seen anyone have so
- 31:04Speaker 7: much passion and so much grace for you know, what
- 31:07Speaker 7: they want to do and raise money for other charities.
- 31:10Speaker 7: And she had that and I knew that she was
- 31:13Speaker 7: going to be special. And she did an excellent job
- 31:16Speaker 7: when working with her for the ten plus years that
- 31:18Speaker 7: I'd worked with her for and she made it seamless,
- 31:21Speaker 7: she made it easy, She ran all the activities, all
- 31:24Speaker 7: the events, and she will have a lasting impact forever,
- 31:27Speaker 7: especially with being the main engine of opening up the
- 31:32Speaker 7: grind playground.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't always easy here in the eight seasons
- 31:38Speaker 1: you were here at twenty ten to twenty eight years.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Is it interesting the way your career went?
- 31:44Speaker 17: And now we'll get back and think how everything's water
- 31:48Speaker 17: under the bridge and maybe those tough times at different
- 31:50Speaker 17: junctures ended up making you a career more rewarding.
- 31:55Speaker 7: You hit that right on the nose, Tom For sure,
- 31:58Speaker 7: it definitely is more rewarding. And like, what was it like,
- 32:01Speaker 7: you know, playing for the organization at that time. Yes,
- 32:04Speaker 7: it was tough, it really was. But I tell people
- 32:07Speaker 7: all the time now when when I look back at it,
- 32:09Speaker 7: like I needed to be in that situation like I
- 32:12Speaker 7: needed it to be tough on me, like it made
- 32:14Speaker 7: me who I am. It made me the player that
- 32:16Speaker 7: I am. It made me come in every single day
- 32:18Speaker 7: like to bring my best you know, to the field,
- 32:21Speaker 7: because if I didn't, you know, the next guy was
- 32:23Speaker 7: going to replace me. And I felt that the next
- 32:25Speaker 7: guy was going to replace me. And then also guys
- 32:28Speaker 7: like Ninko would would right there, would have it, would
- 32:30Speaker 7: have a fire under his engine. He'll be bringing it
- 32:32Speaker 7: to me in practice, so then I would have to
- 32:34Speaker 7: amp up it even more and bring it to him
- 32:36Speaker 7: and then all that good stuff. So it made me
- 32:38Speaker 7: a better player, made me a better person a big time,
- 32:42Speaker 7: and it's making life easier as well now. So it's
- 32:44Speaker 7: very rewarding to go through that stage, especially in your twenties.
- 32:49Speaker 7: And I needed that type of structure at that time too.
- 32:53Speaker 7: I was a maniac. We all know that. When I
- 32:54Speaker 7: was in my twenties, I definitely cleaned it up big time,
- 32:57Speaker 7: you know, still a little bit, but I like what
- 33:00Speaker 7: I was. I was such a freelance and I have
- 33:03Speaker 7: that structure in my life was what was helping me
- 33:06Speaker 7: big time, you know, get to where I am today
- 33:09Speaker 7: and who I am today. As well, and those tough
- 33:12Speaker 7: times are making you know, work easy now. You know,
- 33:15Speaker 7: whatever I do now, I'm like, wow, look what I
- 33:17Speaker 7: did back then when I was twenty, I can easily
- 33:19Speaker 7: do what I got got in front of my you know,
- 33:21Speaker 7: on my plate now.
- 33:23Speaker 18: With Patriots fans, it's very clear that you're still so
- 33:26Speaker 18: loved here.
- 33:26Speaker 5: The way they talk about you, it's like you're still
- 33:28Speaker 5: on the field almost. I just was it like to
- 33:31Speaker 5: have so much.
- 33:31Speaker 10: Love from Patriots Nation just throughout your entire playing career
- 33:35Speaker 10: and now after.
- 33:36Speaker 7: Yeah, it's really special. And I do get a lot
- 33:38Speaker 7: of love, I really do. And if it's on the
- 33:41Speaker 7: plane coming back, if it's walking my dog, you know,
- 33:44Speaker 7: if it's just going to the grocery market. I get
- 33:47Speaker 7: a lot of love from a lot of fans here
- 33:49Speaker 7: in New England and I appreciate that. And that's also
- 33:52Speaker 7: what's making this moment very special. I mean just literally
- 33:56Speaker 7: in the last two days, a lot of people just
- 33:57Speaker 7: congratulated me for this moment right here, and how happy
- 34:01Speaker 7: they were. I swear they were more happy for me
- 34:03Speaker 7: than I was coming in here today. And like I
- 34:06Speaker 7: said earlier, I appreciate the fans accepting me of who
- 34:09Speaker 7: I was. I mean, it kind of made the persona
- 34:13Speaker 7: very natural, It really did. And I would give credit
- 34:15Speaker 7: to the fans. It wasn't like I had to do
- 34:17Speaker 7: anything special out there. I was being myself and they
- 34:20Speaker 7: just took who I was, you know, and they blew
- 34:23Speaker 7: it up to a whole other level, like the Gronk Spike.
- 34:25Speaker 7: Like I always wanted to spike with football, and then
- 34:27Speaker 7: I spiked, and then they just took it to a
- 34:29Speaker 7: whole other level, like the Gronk Spike's the greatest thing ever.
- 34:32Speaker 7: I'm like, I just was spiking, you know, like, and
- 34:34Speaker 7: the fans here in New England just made it so great.
- 34:38Speaker 7: Like me doing silly things off the field, they didn't care.
- 34:42Speaker 7: They're like, oh, that's Gronk. Like I got a free
- 34:45Speaker 7: pass because of the fans accepting everything, which was great.
- 34:48Speaker 7: So I appreciate everything, and I appreciate the love from
- 34:51Speaker 7: the fans, and I always want to give love back
- 34:53Speaker 7: whenever I came.
- 34:54Speaker 12: All right, see a little Colias.
- 34:56Speaker 9: But I was wondering how you think the twenty twenty
- 34:58Speaker 9: five team will do?
- 35:00Speaker 12: Thinks Rabel's doing leading the team?
- 35:02Speaker 7: Yes, the twenty twenty five team is doing spectacular I mean,
- 35:06Speaker 7: they're blown out of the water compared to what everyone
- 35:09Speaker 7: thought they were going to be. I mean, we all
- 35:10Speaker 7: knew it was gonna be a big improvement here. I
- 35:13Speaker 7: said at the beginning of the year, because I'm such
- 35:15Speaker 7: a great analyst, now, guys that the Patriots were going
- 35:18Speaker 7: to make the playoffs but as a wildcard team, and
- 35:20Speaker 7: they were going to be come in second place in
- 35:22Speaker 7: the division. But as my great analyst scales, I think,
- 35:25Speaker 7: I think they're going to be wrong this year. You know,
- 35:27Speaker 7: we're on track to win the division, you know, knock
- 35:30Speaker 7: on one, and on track to not just get a
- 35:33Speaker 7: wildcard see, but you know, they get a good, good
- 35:35Speaker 7: seating in the top four, which makes it a special
- 35:39Speaker 7: year here. And what I really like about these Patriots
- 35:42Speaker 7: is that they're not losing focus this year. You know,
- 35:45Speaker 7: every single week they're getting better as a team, and
- 35:47Speaker 7: they're correcting their mistakes you know from the prior week
- 35:50Speaker 7: as well, and they're finding ways to have more explosiveness
- 35:54Speaker 7: on the offense as well. And I would say that's
- 35:56Speaker 7: due to Josh McDaniels. And that's why, when you know,
- 35:59Speaker 7: being an analyst I was last year on Fox, I said, hey,
- 36:01Speaker 7: Josh McDaniels would be a great fit here and they
- 36:03Speaker 7: ended up hiring him, and just to see him take
- 36:07Speaker 7: his guys to the next level, the guys on the
- 36:09Speaker 7: offense to the next level. You know, I would say
- 36:12Speaker 7: he it contributes to how good of a coach he
- 36:14Speaker 7: is and how he can put the players and know
- 36:16Speaker 7: his talent in the right position as well.
- 36:19Speaker 18: No opportunity to come back to jeely and interview Drake
- 36:22Speaker 18: for a Fox segment.
- 36:23Speaker 14: What im quession did.
- 36:25Speaker 7: You come away with? Yes, I did, which was very
- 36:27Speaker 7: special because I got to go to r KKs uh
- 36:30Speaker 7: in office then when I came back, so it's the
- 36:33Speaker 7: second time we get to meet again here at Jillette
- 36:35Speaker 7: Stadium in the last three weeks. But uh yeah, I
- 36:38Speaker 7: did a sit down interview with Drake May which was special.
- 36:41Speaker 7: And what I really loved about him is his IQ
- 36:45Speaker 7: and his intelligence for the game of football. You know,
- 36:48Speaker 7: when we were just talking football and I was asking
- 36:50Speaker 7: him questions and and the way he respected the guys
- 36:53Speaker 7: that were before him too. Obviously you're coming after Tom Brady,
- 36:56Speaker 7: You're always going to be be compared to Tom Brady.
- 36:58Speaker 7: But the way he answered the questions showed his respect,
- 37:01Speaker 7: but also knew that it's his time and that he's
- 37:04Speaker 7: got to do what he's got to do. You know,
- 37:05Speaker 7: you appreciate that type of answer. You appreciate that type
- 37:08Speaker 7: of honesty and humbleness as well. And he had that
- 37:11Speaker 7: and the intelligence he had for the game of football.
- 37:13Speaker 7: We were talking plays, and I was saying plays that
- 37:16Speaker 7: were you know, the name of the play when I
- 37:19Speaker 7: was there with McDaniels, and then now the name has
- 37:21Speaker 7: totally changed. And he not just knew my play the
- 37:24Speaker 7: play when it was named the terminology of when it
- 37:27Speaker 7: was my my era, but he also knew the terminology
- 37:30Speaker 7: that it was of his era too. So to know
- 37:33Speaker 7: both and just know what I was doing on the
- 37:35Speaker 7: play call that I said to him was just pretty impressive.
- 37:38Speaker 7: So that's when you know he has a high football
- 37:40Speaker 7: IQ and that's what you need at the quarterback position.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Are you going to say something that Tom should he
- 37:47Speaker 1: retire Patriots?
- 37:49Speaker 7: We all know Tom's the Patriot for life. He's got
- 37:51Speaker 7: the statue. He probably did sign a one day contract
- 37:55Speaker 7: whatever whenever at the retirement when when he went in
- 38:01Speaker 7: in this first year being retired into the Patriots Hall
- 38:03Speaker 7: of Fame. So I'm sure. I mean that Tim did
- 38:08Speaker 7: sign it. I'm not sure if he did, but he
- 38:09Speaker 7: doesn't even need to sign one. The guy he's in
- 38:11Speaker 7: the Hall of Fame statue the greatest of all time.
- 38:13Speaker 7: So it's just an honor to be able to, you know, say,
- 38:17Speaker 7: I played my whole entire career with him as well.
- 38:20Speaker 11: Rob, what do you see if this current team has
- 38:23Speaker 11: that you think is special or maybe something that you
- 38:25Speaker 11: guys have that made you so special.
- 38:29Speaker 7: They're playing together as a team and the Patriots right now,
- 38:33Speaker 7: like when you play together as a team and come
- 38:36Speaker 7: together as a team, you necessarily don't need that big
- 38:38Speaker 7: time playmaker. And that's what everyone was saying at the
- 38:40Speaker 7: beginning of the year, and that's what everyone said with
- 38:42Speaker 7: us at the beginning of the year as well. Oh
- 38:44Speaker 7: we need that explosive guy, we need trade for a
- 38:46Speaker 7: number one wide receiver, blah blah blah. But it doesn't matter.
- 38:50Speaker 7: When you've got a group of guys that are in
- 38:52Speaker 7: it with each other and know how to you know,
- 38:54Speaker 7: have that chemistry and work with each other and have
- 38:56Speaker 7: the same timing on every single play and nowhere to
- 38:59Speaker 7: be and trust in each other, well then that's what
- 39:01Speaker 7: makes a great team. And that's where it's very similar
- 39:04Speaker 7: to the teams that we had in the past too,
- 39:06Speaker 7: is we sometimes we didn't have a number one you
- 39:09Speaker 7: know guy, but everyone was a number one guy and
- 39:11Speaker 7: everyone expected to get the ball, and everyone trusted in
- 39:14Speaker 7: each other. And I see the similarities, you know, this
- 39:17Speaker 7: year with the Patriots as to you know, our successful
- 39:21Speaker 7: years when when I was here in that era, you.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Just coming on, what's going to be happening in the
- 39:27Speaker 2: game with you?
- 39:28Speaker 7: Yes, So I'll be a keeper of the Light. I'll
- 39:31Speaker 7: be ringing the bell in the lighthouse at the beginning
- 39:33Speaker 7: of the game, which is gonna be special. Never done
- 39:36Speaker 7: that before, and actually I've never been to a game
- 39:38Speaker 7: yet with the keeper of the Light bell here, So
- 39:42Speaker 7: that's gonna be really cool to be able to participate
- 39:45Speaker 7: in that. And then at halftime as well, just going
- 39:48Speaker 7: to be able to address the crowd and then introduce
- 39:50Speaker 7: the halftime performance performance which is low Cash, their country
- 39:55Speaker 7: band singer, and I've known them for a couple of
- 39:57Speaker 7: years now, so when I heard that it was them,
- 39:58Speaker 7: I was like, this is gonna be a special moment,
- 40:01Speaker 7: big time. And I got Camille here as well, and
- 40:04Speaker 7: another story with my antics. You know, we weren't supposed
- 40:07Speaker 7: to talk to the cheerleaders, you know, but I gave
- 40:10Speaker 7: my number to Camille, you know, back in the day,
- 40:13Speaker 7: and you know I, you know, I bypassed the rules
- 40:17Speaker 7: once again because that's what that's what I do. Yeah,
- 40:22Speaker 7: it was your role. You're right, it wasn't my role.
- 40:24Speaker 7: So there's there's my antics right there. But Camil was
- 40:28Speaker 7: a cheerleader, so I want to see some of her
- 40:30Speaker 7: cheering skills tomorrow as well. Yes, and and speaking of it,
- 40:36Speaker 7: so Susan Hurley was a cheerleader back in the day too,
- 40:38Speaker 7: So I just have something for cheerleaders. I guess.
- 40:45Speaker 3: We've seen so much expansion of the NFL into international
- 40:48Speaker 3: waters such as Brazil, Spain and a.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Bunch of other countries.
- 40:52Speaker 7: What it says you most about seeing.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Football grow in those international places and knowing that you
- 40:58Speaker 3: have a bunch of ground fans not only in New
- 41:00Speaker 3: England but globally.
- 41:02Speaker 7: Yes, it's great that the NFL is expanding into other countries.
- 41:06Speaker 7: I mean, I would have to say that has to
- 41:07Speaker 7: be due to the owners, especially participating with conversations with
- 41:12Speaker 7: Roger Goodell, the commissioner, because he has the control and
- 41:15Speaker 7: in order to expand the NFL. I mean, I feel
- 41:17Speaker 7: like we max out here in the United States of America,
- 41:21Speaker 7: but to make it even bigger, go globally. And I
- 41:24Speaker 7: think it's great for the game. It's great for the players.
- 41:26Speaker 7: It's great for the players you know individually as well
- 41:30Speaker 7: to you know, grow there. I would say, grow their
- 41:33Speaker 7: brand too. And I would say, though, not get too big,
- 41:38Speaker 7: because I like going over to Europe and going to
- 41:40Speaker 7: other countries where no one knows who I am and
- 41:42Speaker 7: just being being a freelance and doing whatever I want
- 41:44Speaker 7: to do and no fans coming up to me. But overall,
- 41:48Speaker 7: it's great for the game of football. And I would
- 41:50Speaker 7: just say to make it easier on the players is
- 41:55Speaker 7: just to find the logistics to make the travel easier
- 41:58Speaker 7: going over those seas, you know, going over because the
- 42:01Speaker 7: times don't change, you know, playing at six am and
- 42:03Speaker 7: all that. Just find the best ways possible to make
- 42:06Speaker 7: sure the players are ready to go and give them
- 42:08Speaker 7: enough time to recover after that game as well, after
- 42:11Speaker 7: you play, you know in a different country, Rob, you.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Played for a final question, you played for one head
- 42:16Speaker 1: coach during your time.
- 42:17Speaker 12: Here in New England. You talked a little bit earlier
- 42:19Speaker 12: about how it.
- 42:19Speaker 17: Wasn't always easy to play here and he was a big.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Part of that.
- 42:22Speaker 19: But would you reflect on, you know, your relationship and
- 42:25Speaker 19: your time with Bill.
- 42:25Speaker 17: Belichick's you know, what are your reflections on playing for
- 42:29Speaker 17: him and the impact.
- 42:30Speaker 12: He made on your career.
- 42:31Speaker 7: Yeah, coach made a huge impact on my career. I
- 42:33Speaker 7: mean I wouldn't be here without this organization without coach
- 42:37Speaker 7: you know, Vrabel, without my teammates, without r KK, you know,
- 42:41Speaker 7: with without anyone that I had. I had ten year
- 42:44Speaker 7: of time here with and spent some quality time with
- 42:46Speaker 7: here in the organization. But coach, you know Belichick. What's
- 42:51Speaker 7: one thing he truly taught me is preparation and how
- 42:55Speaker 7: to prepare for games and how to prepare for the
- 42:57Speaker 7: upcoming Sunday, you know, versus whoever you're going against, and
- 43:01Speaker 7: prepare if it's a terrible team you're facing, if they're
- 43:04Speaker 7: owing ten or prepare the same way as if they're
- 43:07Speaker 7: ten and zero as well, and always be ready for
- 43:09Speaker 7: any situation. And I'm implying that into my life as well,
- 43:13Speaker 7: big time. I mean, if I prepare, you know, going
- 43:15Speaker 7: up you know, going into Fox on Sunday, I feel
- 43:18Speaker 7: like I have a good day. If I, you know,
- 43:21Speaker 7: slack off a little bit, I think it makes a
- 43:22Speaker 7: little bit harder. So always be preparing and bring your
- 43:26Speaker 7: best stuff and then being able to adjust on the
- 43:28Speaker 7: fly as well. Coach Belichick was so good at that.
- 43:31Speaker 7: I'm being able to just put us in the best
- 43:32Speaker 7: situations to be able to succeed, and just the way
- 43:36Speaker 7: he coached us as well, to be the best possible
- 43:39Speaker 7: player that you could possibly be. You know, if it
- 43:41Speaker 7: was in the meeting rooms calling you out, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 7: and I see the reasoning behind it. Sometimes you would
- 43:46Speaker 7: get a little disappointed, You get a little frustrated getting
- 43:49Speaker 7: called out. But now I look back at that now too,
- 43:51Speaker 7: and I appreciate, you know, him coaching me hard, him
- 43:55Speaker 7: him being hard on me, you know, And I definitely
- 43:58Speaker 7: sometimes maybe took it for granted, but definitely look back
- 44:01Speaker 7: now and I appreciate all those situations that he put
- 44:04Speaker 7: me in, if it was easy or hard.
- 44:06Speaker 4: Ron, how would you describe the camaraderie after football with
- 44:09Speaker 4: your Fox colleagues Tom and Julianne.
- 44:11Speaker 7: Yeah, it's great. I mean a lot of players struggle
- 44:14Speaker 7: after the game of football to find that locker room
- 44:16Speaker 7: feel and definitely lucky to still have that feel a
- 44:19Speaker 7: little bit. It will never be like you know, the
- 44:21Speaker 7: playing days in the NFL, but to have Tom and
- 44:23Speaker 7: Julian as well at Fox, I mean, it makes you
- 44:27Speaker 7: kick back your feet, you know, sit back and relax
- 44:29Speaker 7: and be comfortable more. To have Julian on the Kickoff show,
- 44:34Speaker 7: you know there we do segments all the time together,
- 44:36Speaker 7: and when Tom's in town doing a game in LA
- 44:38Speaker 7: or something, he comes on our show too, or we
- 44:40Speaker 7: ask him a question on the screen. It makes it,
- 44:43Speaker 7: you know, more lovable. It makes you feel more comfortable
- 44:46Speaker 7: as well that we're all there together because we all
- 44:48Speaker 7: understand each other. We all understand the way you know,
- 44:51Speaker 7: we we process football. We understand the way that we
- 44:55Speaker 7: have football knowledge, and we know how to work together
- 44:58Speaker 7: as well. So it's great. I love, I love that
- 45:01Speaker 7: we're all there together. It was the best catch would
- 45:06Speaker 7: be That's a great question to hang on Davis right
- 45:09Speaker 7: right there, Tom, Wow, I would say the greatest catch
- 45:16Speaker 7: I've made. I mean, I would have to go with
- 45:18Speaker 7: one of my one handers. There's so many, I can't
- 45:20Speaker 7: even think of what one. Yeah, yeah, the Buffalo one
- 45:25Speaker 7: and the Denver one. Well, the Buffalo one was They're
- 45:27Speaker 7: like tied to me because it was Verse Buffalo, my
- 45:29Speaker 7: hometown team. I always loved to stick it to them.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Uh.
- 45:33Speaker 7: And it was on the sidelines versus All Pro safety
- 45:36Speaker 7: and Tom threw it back and I toe tapped both
- 45:38Speaker 7: feet in I brought it in. But the Denver one
- 45:40Speaker 7: was pretty special too because I caught it with my
- 45:42Speaker 7: broken forearm. It was broken at the time, too stale
- 45:45Speaker 7: and no it wasn't but sounded good. But uh, I
- 45:48Speaker 7: had the cast on it. He threw it backwards. There
- 45:50Speaker 7: was it was a team meeting. You're not supposed to
- 45:52Speaker 7: throw the ball in a team meeting, know what I mean.
- 45:54Speaker 7: That's what Coach Belichick said all the time. But Tom
- 45:56Speaker 7: did not listen this time. Threw it up there and
- 45:58Speaker 7: I just turned around and just one handed and brought
- 46:00Speaker 7: it in. And what made it special is I just
- 46:03Speaker 7: lined up out wide on the very next play. See,
- 46:06Speaker 7: this is great being back here. All the memories are
- 46:08Speaker 7: just flowing. Like you don't think about these memories when
- 46:10Speaker 7: you're just sitting at home, but being back here in
- 46:11Speaker 7: the building, they're all coming back. And then I caught
- 46:15Speaker 7: on the two yard line and the very next play,
- 46:17Speaker 7: Josh McDaniel's, No, Josh McDaniels knows when they call your
- 46:20Speaker 7: number again. He knows when you're on fire, he knows
- 46:22Speaker 7: when you're tired. He could tell from practice and all that,
- 46:26Speaker 7: just like in the Super Bowl. Actually, my very last
- 46:28Speaker 7: catch in the Super Bowl, I swear he saw me.
- 46:31Speaker 7: He saw me open on the scene. We call the
- 46:33Speaker 7: same exact play on that twenty eight yard catcher to
- 46:36Speaker 7: bring it to the two yard line, and then we
- 46:38Speaker 7: scored the very next play with Sony Michelle. It was
- 46:41Speaker 7: only touchdown of the game. But I ran the scene
- 46:44Speaker 7: and I was open, and I was literally came back
- 46:46Speaker 7: to the huddle, I was like, all right, two seams
- 46:48Speaker 7: in a row. I got like basically my broken squad.
- 46:50Speaker 7: But I was like, McDaniel's is gonna call it again?
- 46:52Speaker 7: Because I know he knows I was open, He knows
- 46:54Speaker 7: I can get open again. Literally get to the huddle,
- 46:57Speaker 7: same exact play, I go, this one's coming to me
- 46:59Speaker 7: one hundred percent and run the route. Tom throws me
- 47:02Speaker 7: the bomb, catch it to a two yard line, and
- 47:04Speaker 7: then we score the very next play for the only
- 47:06Speaker 7: touchdown of the game. So that was special. But the
- 47:09Speaker 7: one the one play Denver, the one hander there and
- 47:12Speaker 7: then going out wide Versusmon Miller and running the slant
- 47:15Speaker 7: route and for the touchdown the very next play. Yes,
- 47:19Speaker 7: thank you guys, thank you all for being here today.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Anybody all right, that's the flu Gronk.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I don't see a light yet. All right, Well that's
- 47:36Speaker 2: Rob Gronkowski retiring as a Patriot. Ever stopped being Gronk?
- 47:43Speaker 6: You know, I was gonna be so depressing when Gronk's
- 47:48Speaker 6: like a grizzled old veteran and he's like serious. He
- 47:50Speaker 6: never became that guy. He always stayed Gronk, which I
- 47:53Speaker 6: just really appreciate it.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Yeah, he definitely, you know, and he talked about it
- 47:57Speaker 1: openly about sort of toward the end some of the
- 48:00Speaker 1: fun had been lost in that. I think that's why
- 48:02Speaker 1: he ultimately retired and then you know, ended up in Tampa.
- 48:06Speaker 1: But that's the personality, like when when he was just
- 48:09Speaker 1: sort of doing his everyday life, that's the day that
- 48:11Speaker 1: what mister Kraft said, Robert Kraft said about he's never
- 48:15Speaker 1: had a bad day. Could never be more accurate with
- 48:17Speaker 1: that guy.
- 48:18Speaker 6: Yeah, just I remember back this was like you know,
- 48:21Speaker 6: prime Deuce blogging loving the team and coming off that
- 48:25Speaker 6: two thousand and nine playoff loss, it just it felt
- 48:28Speaker 6: it shook me. You know, it's just just like, man,
- 48:30Speaker 6: they got run off the field by the Ravens. This
- 48:32Speaker 6: over and felt kind of like the team was at
- 48:35Speaker 6: a crossroads and I'll just I'll just never forget when
- 48:37Speaker 6: they drafted him and the antics he pulled on stage
- 48:40Speaker 6: and sitting there going, I feel like, this is exactly
- 48:43Speaker 6: what this team needs, like just an injection of someone's
- 48:46Speaker 6: who's really excited.
- 48:47Speaker 1: To be here.
- 48:48Speaker 6: You had no idea he was going to be the
- 48:49Speaker 6: quality of player that he ended up being. But from
- 48:52Speaker 6: the minute they drafted him, it was like, there's something
- 48:54Speaker 6: really cool about this guy, and it was it was
- 48:57Speaker 6: super fun. I mean, he's talking about all these plays
- 48:58Speaker 6: and every single one of them you remember them.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Because he's one of rare good picks out of the traft.
- 49:05Speaker 2: I would concur fright, Yeah, he was. He all over
- 49:08Speaker 2: him from oh yeah he was in Arizona.
- 49:10Speaker 1: He may have mentioned it a time or two and
- 49:12Speaker 1: the yeah years too, even.
- 49:15Speaker 2: With the bad back. He was Nope, this guy's gonna
- 49:18Speaker 2: be good. Yeah, he's right on that one. He was
- 49:20Speaker 2: a rare one, rare good one.
- 49:22Speaker 1: So that's Rob.
- 49:23Speaker 2: If you're joining us late and you missed it alive,
- 49:26Speaker 2: you can catch it later on Patriots dot com. We'll
- 49:28Speaker 2: have the full press conference with Rob Gronkowski on Patriots
- 49:32Speaker 2: dot com. So getting back to, uh, what where we
- 49:35Speaker 2: left off? But yeah, no, Francisco called back, so we
- 49:39Speaker 2: want to get him on the line. Francisco, what what
- 49:41Speaker 2: else do you got for?
- 49:43Speaker 7: Hey?
- 49:44Speaker 10: All right, so you know where we left off. I've
- 49:47Speaker 10: gotta I've gotta a ball take and then I've got
- 49:53Speaker 10: I guess I could both have a bowl, but I've
- 49:54Speaker 10: got Garzo and CD. They're both going to get their
- 49:58Speaker 10: first pick this week, and we're gonna be up so
- 50:01Speaker 10: like we're gonna be up so much to all you
- 50:04Speaker 10: Chicken fans out there. He's getting his first touch down
- 50:06Speaker 10: this week.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Oh now that's a bold take. That's the bigger take,
- 50:11Speaker 2: is two guys getting picks.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Like I could see chi, I could see that happening,
- 50:18Speaker 1: Like I could see them having a big lead.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Okay, Francisco, does this stuff just come to you? Do
- 50:24Speaker 2: you do you like burn incense? How do you come
- 50:27Speaker 2: about these revelations?
- 50:28Speaker 15: Got me?
- 50:29Speaker 19: Now?
- 50:29Speaker 2: For you are pre reading.
- 50:30Speaker 10: It's kind of like what you say, Frank, like you
- 50:33Speaker 10: it's only a guarantee when you feel it. So it's
- 50:36Speaker 10: just it's just it's something I feel. But today I've
- 50:38Speaker 10: got like like while I'm at work right now, you know,
- 50:41Speaker 10: I'm driving a street sweeper, like just staring at leaves
- 50:44Speaker 10: all day. Another one came to me.
- 50:46Speaker 2: So it's just came to him that it was a
- 50:49Speaker 2: design in the leaves.
- 50:50Speaker 10: Okay, at least or two picks are going to come
- 50:53Speaker 10: from two different people, whether it's a trick trick play
- 50:56Speaker 10: from the receiver stuff, or the way I think it's
- 50:59Speaker 10: gonna happened is they're going to binge one of the
- 51:01Speaker 10: quarterbacks for the other one to come in and they're
- 51:03Speaker 10: going to throw.
- 51:03Speaker 16: A pick two.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Okay, all right, well Francisco, thanks for calling in. I
- 51:07Speaker 2: hope you're right and this this you're on an amazing run,
- 51:10Speaker 2: so let's keep it going. Thank you. Heater of all
- 51:13Speaker 2: heater confident, confident that'd be something if he's right, Why
- 51:16Speaker 2: wouldn't you be?
- 51:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, he suggested that a guy who had
- 51:20Speaker 1: two career catches was going to catch a fifty plus
- 51:22Speaker 1: yard touchdown and he did. Why wouldn't you be confident,
- 51:26Speaker 1: right witch isn't touchdown? Would be pretty funny.
- 51:29Speaker 2: It wasn't just he's going to catch a touchdown. He's
- 51:31Speaker 2: going to catch oh plus yeah yeah, all right, Uh
- 51:35Speaker 2: good stuff from Francisco. Let's move along. Let's see herm
- 51:41Speaker 2: in uh d C has been holding on for a while.
- 51:43Speaker 2: What's up? Herm Hello?
- 51:46Speaker 1: Hey, herm hey?
- 51:48Speaker 9: How's it going with?
- 51:49Speaker 7: All right?
- 51:52Speaker 9: A quick question for you, Gus. So, obviously I don't
- 51:56Speaker 9: want to miss Mandrake May's money, but do you think
- 52:02Speaker 9: that when it's time to get him paid that ownership
- 52:08Speaker 9: will come tom and have him considered taking a little
- 52:11Speaker 9: less considering that it's just gonna be so much harder
- 52:15Speaker 9: moving forward to keep putting a good team around him
- 52:20Speaker 9: if the obviously takes astrate that you can qualify for.
- 52:25Speaker 2: I know where you're going. I don't know who Drake
- 52:27Speaker 2: May's agent is, but there's no way that's happening. There's
- 52:31Speaker 2: no way that's happening.
- 52:32Speaker 9: Well, So the reason why I'm bringing this up is
- 52:34Speaker 9: because I think that's a little bit of and I
- 52:38Speaker 9: could be wrong, but I think that's a little bit
- 52:39Speaker 9: of what maybe Buffalo's going through right now. In Kansas
- 52:42Speaker 9: City's going through right now, right because it seems like
- 52:46Speaker 9: the narrative.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Is that any help I don't what exactly are they
- 52:52Speaker 1: going through those two teams?
- 52:56Speaker 9: Well, again, the narrative is that Josh Allen doesn't have
- 52:59Speaker 9: quote any help.
- 53:00Speaker 1: Right out and anybody throw Yeah, but why is that
- 53:04Speaker 1: because of Josh Allen's contract? Like they're they're a little
- 53:08Speaker 1: bit in between. I mean, it's not all that dissimilar
- 53:10Speaker 1: to you know, something Mike was just talking about off
- 53:13Speaker 1: air when we were listening to Gronkowski. The Patriots were
- 53:16Speaker 1: kind of in between a little bit from you know,
- 53:18Speaker 1: the O eighth nine era, and they sort of needed
- 53:21Speaker 1: to refresh and restock the roster. And they nailed it
- 53:24Speaker 1: in ten with Devin mccordy and Rob Gronkowski in the draft.
- 53:28Speaker 1: You know, you follow that up with a couple more
- 53:30Speaker 1: picks like Chandler Jones and Dante hi Tower two years later, thanks,
- 53:33Speaker 1: and suddenly you're right back in there. Tom famously took
- 53:37Speaker 1: quote unquote less and they were in the same situation
- 53:41Speaker 1: that Buffalo's in right now. It's it's not because of
- 53:44Speaker 1: the salary cap that Buffalo is in the spot there.
- 53:46Speaker 2: They were a little bit.
- 53:48Speaker 1: You know, they were a little bit lacking in weapons
- 53:50Speaker 1: on offense. You know, they just gave the running back
- 53:54Speaker 1: a good contract and he's playing great well. Listen, they
- 53:57Speaker 1: don't have any receivers after Shaki.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Cincinnati's one of the smallest markets in the league. It's
- 54:02Speaker 2: not like they've got this huge corporate base or anything.
- 54:04Speaker 2: And they figured it out. They figure they're paying Joe Burrow,
- 54:07Speaker 2: they're paying Jamar Chase, they're paying the other wide receiver.
- 54:11Speaker 2: You can. You can figure it out that that.
- 54:13Speaker 1: And the other part is it's a lot easier to
- 54:15Speaker 1: do it now because the cap is so much bigger,
- 54:17Speaker 1: and it's getting bigger all the time. With all the
- 54:19Speaker 1: added revenues that the league is making, that's only going.
- 54:21Speaker 7: To go up.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Yeah, So so you know, listen, I'm not like you said, herm,
- 54:28Speaker 2: I'm not talking. I don't want to tell Drake what
- 54:30Speaker 2: to do with his money. That's the last thing I
- 54:32Speaker 2: want to do. But you know, his agent's not gonna
- 54:37Speaker 2: take a home market deal. You know, he's not gonna
- 54:40Speaker 2: let him take a home deal.
- 54:43Speaker 6: Josh Allen has said that he's like taking less money
- 54:45Speaker 6: to stay up there too, So you know, I mean
- 54:47Speaker 6: who knows exactly what the truth is say that.
- 54:49Speaker 2: But like even even during the time that Tom was here,
- 54:52Speaker 2: and you know they would redo his contract, right, he
- 54:56Speaker 2: always made new money. Every time he did that, he
- 54:59Speaker 2: made more upfront money. We get like roster bonuses. Yeah,
- 55:02Speaker 2: he wasn't taking any haircuts. They were just they were
- 55:05Speaker 2: just using his contract as sort of a mortgage and
- 55:09Speaker 2: refinancing it. And every time they refinanced it. Yeah, it
- 55:12Speaker 2: gave him a little cap room, but it gave Brady
- 55:15Speaker 2: more upfront money, so he hed fine whenever a really
- 55:19Speaker 2: good team get fine.
- 55:20Speaker 1: Yeah. And I don't want to diminish it, because I
- 55:23Speaker 1: do think Tom could have taken, you know, if he
- 55:25Speaker 1: wanted to, every last dime he could have gotten. Yes,
- 55:27Speaker 1: I'm not diminishing that Tom Brady was team oriented. I'm
- 55:30Speaker 1: not saying that that wasn't true.
- 55:32Speaker 9: It was.
- 55:32Speaker 1: But I think Fred very accurately described his quote un
- 55:36Speaker 1: quote taking less. He was the highest paid player in
- 55:40Speaker 1: the league at various times of his career. I think
- 55:44Speaker 1: that you know, herm put it perfectly when he said,
- 55:48Speaker 1: you know that the narrative, because I think people still
- 55:51Speaker 1: glom onto this narrative that if the quarterback makes too much,
- 55:55Speaker 1: you can't win. And I mean, I don't know how
- 55:57Speaker 1: many years Kansas City has to be the best or
- 56:00Speaker 1: among the best with Patrick Mahomes making a scene amount
- 56:04Speaker 1: of money before that is just completely debunked.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Can we just move past?
- 56:09Speaker 1: Like Philadelphia has several ridiculously highly paid guys on their roster.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Is there a roster better than that in the league?
- 56:18Speaker 1: Top to bottom both sides of the ball, and they won.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Is there a more talented roster in the league. They
- 56:23Speaker 1: have a lot of guys making high end money.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Yep, yeah.
- 56:26Speaker 6: I mean I love the example of the Chiefs because
- 56:28Speaker 6: this year we've had such a great When you see
- 56:31Speaker 6: Patrick Mahomes trying to do with Taekwon Thornton, Juju Smith, Schuster,
- 56:35Speaker 6: some of the cat doesn't look so great. Rashi Rice
- 56:38Speaker 6: comes back, a guy that they drafted and who hit
- 56:40Speaker 6: on it starts to look a little bit better.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Right, So don't make it out to be the salary
- 56:44Speaker 1: cap that caused him to be suspended for the first
- 56:46Speaker 1: six games of the season like that. And this is
- 56:50Speaker 1: not a shot at Herm because Herm is right. That's
- 56:53Speaker 1: the narrative, and it is really that narrative has kind
- 56:57Speaker 1: of bugged me for about fifteen years. But in this
- 57:00Speaker 1: day and age, it's really silly because the cap is
- 57:04Speaker 1: so high.
- 57:05Speaker 6: Right, I mean, but it's the truth is always the same.
- 57:07Speaker 6: When we learned draft well, you draft well. It solves
- 57:10Speaker 6: all your pa that's the problem.
- 57:11Speaker 1: And that you know Buffal You know, if Buffalo had
- 57:14Speaker 1: Ladd McConkie instead of key On Coleman, you think their
- 57:17Speaker 1: their weapons would look a little bit better. And I'm
- 57:19Speaker 1: not I'm not jumping on Brandon Bean. I think he's
- 57:22Speaker 1: done a pretty good That's a pretty good roster that
- 57:24Speaker 1: they put together. But there they have Khalil Shakir who
- 57:28Speaker 1: was a mid round path. He was a fifth round pick.
- 57:30Speaker 1: They needed to augment him. When they decided to move
- 57:33Speaker 1: on from Diggs, they went with Keon Coleman. If they
- 57:36Speaker 1: went with someone else, you know, maybe this would look
- 57:40Speaker 1: a little bit different. And Lad McConkie is just one
- 57:42Speaker 1: that jumps to mind because he was in that general
- 57:45Speaker 1: area when when the charges took him.
- 57:48Speaker 6: I mean, can look at dald kin Kate first round pick,
- 57:50Speaker 6: I mean certainly not Rob Gronkowski, I mean solid player.
- 57:53Speaker 1: But that that to me was a good pick. But
- 57:55Speaker 1: like ke On Coleman wasn't and not. I don't think
- 57:58Speaker 1: he's as stiff, but he's not with he's not good enough.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Well, that's the thing where you get to the bottom
- 58:03Speaker 6: of the first round and you feel like we need
- 58:05Speaker 6: a receiver and you're getting into the territory where there
- 58:07Speaker 6: are guys with you know, development issues, the guys you're
- 58:10Speaker 6: gonna need to you know, he's a big athletic guy,
- 58:12Speaker 6: but he's he gonna put it all together. You see
- 58:14Speaker 6: what they're trying to do though. You see how they're
- 58:15Speaker 6: trying to balance it out with him here in the
- 58:17Speaker 6: two tight ends. But James Cook has worked out, but
- 58:20Speaker 6: it's a struggle.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Brad's in Ohio. Hey Brad, Hey Drew, how are you
- 58:25Speaker 2: doing today?
- 58:28Speaker 14: I got a couple questions observations to one observation and
- 58:32Speaker 14: a couple questions about the season, you know, and how
- 58:35Speaker 14: things are been going, which is wonderful. First of all,
- 58:39Speaker 14: I want to conmarm Trevion for at least every time
- 58:43Speaker 14: that guy gets in front of the microphone, he gives
- 58:46Speaker 14: the glory to the Lord. And he's such a young
- 58:49Speaker 14: homeley youngster and a great role model I think for
- 58:52Speaker 14: our younger generation. Number one. And secondly, I I'm wondering
- 59:00Speaker 14: if this isn't the week after this Jets game that
- 59:05Speaker 14: we don't make a change to our offensive line, whether
- 59:09Speaker 14: we put Wilson at center, because I think Bradbury is
- 59:15Speaker 14: just a liability, especially coming down to stretch during the
- 59:19Speaker 14: you know, the playoffs and stuff. He just getting run
- 59:21Speaker 14: over too much at center. So Ben Brown at center
- 59:25Speaker 14: or Wilson at center, Ben Brown at guard? What do
- 59:28Speaker 14: you guys think about that?
- 59:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 59:30Speaker 2: I'm hesitant to make changes at this point. Has it
- 59:33Speaker 2: been that bad with Bradbury?
- 59:35Speaker 14: I mean, we're going to have to ruin the football eventually,
- 59:40Speaker 14: We're going to have to have.
- 59:41Speaker 2: Some kind of you know, Yeah, I don't know. I
- 59:45Speaker 2: don't know. I mean I think maybe next year Wilson
- 59:47Speaker 2: moves over to center, you know, but I don't think
- 59:50Speaker 2: it's going to be this year barring injury. About what
- 59:55Speaker 2: Ben Brown? You know, he's he's your wild card.
- 59:58Speaker 1: He's a guy.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Who do you think he's Do you think he's better? Yeah?
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I don't know if he's that much better than Brad Barry.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I don't think he's better.
- 1:00:04Speaker 14: You know, he's worse of getting run over like Brad,
- 1:00:09Speaker 14: I don't remember seeing him get one over like that.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: You know, I'll show you the last few games last year.
- 1:00:17Speaker 14: He did a couple You're right year.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, and I think Ben Brown did a
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: better job than Wilson had been doing when he played
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: that one game. I think it was the Carolina game,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: if I'm not mistaken this one game. The offensive line
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: has been intact for nine out of ten games. There
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: was the one game that Wilson missed and Brown played.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: In Brad's right, Brown did a pretty good job in
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: that game. I think it was the Panthers game. Yeah,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he's a good player, But I'm not sure that that.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I'm kind of with Fred like that to me is
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: kind of like change for change sake. I'm not sure
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: that that's a significant upgrade.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Thanks, Brad, appreciate that. Is a great player.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: He hard to judge. Brad's right, He got her.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: A right So.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: David Andrews getting run over by DeForest Buckner and Quinnin
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Williams quite often, you know, and I didn't want to
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: take David Andrews out of the lineup.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: I think he's a tremendous player for the Patriots. Hey,

- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Age in Eligibility varies by jurisdiction.
- 1:04:17Speaker 17: Let's practice that good. It's good to get out there good.
- 1:04:22Speaker 17: Get used to playing that weather. I think yes, it's
- 1:04:26Speaker 17: part of playing up here and making it something that
- 1:04:30Speaker 17: you know was important for us to get out there and.
- 1:04:32Speaker 12: Embraced beating in this weather.
- 1:04:33Speaker 17: And I think it's good to be able to practice
- 1:04:37Speaker 17: in I think it's an advantage.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: What are you guys.
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: You guys have had, especially this past Sunday, two big
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: type plays which it comes to really showing about.
- 1:04:46Speaker 12: Your team speed, Kyle, what sort of impact is that
- 1:04:50Speaker 12: haven't had that level.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: Of speed had the offenses?
- 1:04:54Speaker 17: Yeah, I think just uh sure, just making big plays.
- 1:04:58Speaker 17: I think just making it easier on the guys up front.
- 1:04:59Speaker 17: You shorter drives. I think it was a defense in
- 1:05:02Speaker 17: a tough spot, you know, being one play and uh
- 1:05:04Speaker 17: two plays on the drive out of halftime and they're
- 1:05:06Speaker 17: back out there, but unsurely they can't complain for for
- 1:05:09Speaker 17: us scoring. I think you know they want that, that's
- 1:05:11Speaker 17: what they want, but they just big playability.
- 1:05:13Speaker 12: I think it's it's hard to get explosive in.
- 1:05:14Speaker 17: This league, and that's what you want, you know, to
- 1:05:17Speaker 17: make drives shorter, make drives, try to skip third down,
- 1:05:19Speaker 17: and I think having guys like that that you'll make
- 1:05:22Speaker 17: it easier and just like I said, just kind of
- 1:05:23Speaker 17: get their ball in their hand in space and they'll
- 1:05:25Speaker 17: make something happen.
- 1:05:26Speaker 19: One of the biggest keys when it comes to activating
- 1:05:29Speaker 19: to stick cold or rains, snow down the line, how
- 1:05:34Speaker 19: do you how do you kind of embrace that the
- 1:05:36Speaker 19: way you describe it.
- 1:05:37Speaker 17: There, Yeah, I think just uh, I think go back
- 1:05:39Speaker 17: to the little things of details and you know, when
- 1:05:42Speaker 17: it's rain or when the you know, gripping the football
- 1:05:46Speaker 17: or being good to own your breaks if your receivers.
- 1:05:48Speaker 12: Just go back to the.
- 1:05:49Speaker 17: Fundamentals and know that that that will uh kind of
- 1:05:53Speaker 17: be kind of what the what you're battling against little
- 1:05:56Speaker 17: things too, hands on the ball, not losing the little
- 1:05:58Speaker 17: things if it's rain or snow in and in the cold,
- 1:06:01Speaker 17: I think, you know, I've had some cool will games
- 1:06:02Speaker 17: last year, and this team is, you know, up here
- 1:06:05Speaker 17: playing We're trying to you know, make it hard to
- 1:06:07Speaker 17: play it, you know, up here in December and you're
- 1:06:10Speaker 17: late in the season, and I think we have the advantage.
- 1:06:11Speaker 12: So I'm just trying to embrace it.
- 1:06:13Speaker 17: And I think parbus is mentality of getting out there
- 1:06:15Speaker 17: and out of the locker room, is making a choice.
- 1:06:17Speaker 17: You know what kind of player I want to be today?
- 1:06:19Speaker 17: And I think a lot of those guys in that
- 1:06:20Speaker 17: locker room, and I think that I know and and
- 1:06:24Speaker 17: uh I can tell you about are going to make
- 1:06:25Speaker 17: the right one and be themselves.
- 1:06:27Speaker 12: I feel the effective.
- 1:06:31Speaker 17: She was just I think we would really right. We
- 1:06:33Speaker 17: ran on the field. It's like I started pouring down,
- 1:06:35Speaker 17: but you know, I missed a little bit high. I
- 1:06:37Speaker 17: just got to make some better throws. I think it's
- 1:06:39Speaker 17: just just depends on Sometimes you get up balls really wet.
- 1:06:42Speaker 12: Sometimes it's a little drier.
- 1:06:43Speaker 17: So that's football. And I think just it's hard to see.
- 1:06:47Speaker 17: You can never practice, you know with it. You know,
- 1:06:49Speaker 17: it's hard to practice the exact moment unless I'm gound
- 1:06:52Speaker 17: go out there and random uh you know day in
- 1:06:55Speaker 17: the off season and uh, which I probably probably need
- 1:06:57Speaker 17: to probably could happen and do that, but uh yeah,
- 1:07:00Speaker 17: it's hard to replicate that. But I think it's it's good.
- 1:07:03Speaker 17: It's uh it's gonna happen at some point again, so
- 1:07:05Speaker 17: try to do my best to be accurate, you guys said.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: With the with Kyle will he's all the talk.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: Last year it was just the Key Shaw movie out.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: He's gonna have to step up. Always would like to
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: see him. You know, kind of coming to the game,
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: get their own.
- 1:07:19Speaker 17: The ball and all of a sudden he's just aw
- 1:07:21Speaker 17: it was awesome, you know, his first touchdown. I think
- 1:07:23Speaker 17: that's that's always cool for him. I knew right when
- 1:07:26Speaker 17: I throw, I didn't really see you didn't catch her
- 1:07:28Speaker 17: or anything. I was I think I'm getting tackled. But uh,
- 1:07:31Speaker 17: I know if he had a chance to catch it,
- 1:07:32Speaker 17: he was probably gone.
- 1:07:34Speaker 12: And you know he was. So he's done a great job.
- 1:07:36Speaker 17: He's to keep on, you know, embracing you know, his
- 1:07:38Speaker 17: role in practice and and no, he's got to step up.
- 1:07:40Speaker 12: And uh, just proud of him for.
- 1:07:42Speaker 17: Coming each and every day and not complaining and you're
- 1:07:44Speaker 17: not Paltin just you know, coming to work. And I
- 1:07:46Speaker 17: think he's just uh just just get started.
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: Very told this that he offered you guys.
- 1:07:51Speaker 6: It was take twenty five minutes off of meeting to
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: get more rest and less quactically.
- 1:07:54Speaker 18: Said, you know, if you want to half before you know,
- 1:07:57Speaker 18: here's why it was that important.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: To you guys.
- 1:07:58Speaker 17: Yeah, it's uh shooting, I take shortcuts. I think to
- 1:08:01Speaker 17: not let your little things, you know, uh, you know,
- 1:08:04Speaker 17: lack or slack. And I think the biggest thing is
- 1:08:06Speaker 17: to say what we've been doing, try to keep the
- 1:08:08Speaker 17: same mentality and you know, yes today to go inside
- 1:08:12Speaker 17: and uh, you know we're gonna go outside. So just
- 1:08:14Speaker 17: you know, little things of trying to now let let
- 1:08:18Speaker 17: not the little things, you know, go and know that
- 1:08:20Speaker 17: these things will matter and have matter for us, you
- 1:08:23Speaker 17: know in the past. And I think we'll show up again.
- 1:08:26Speaker 12: Winning a lot.
- 1:08:27Speaker 19: I think you can kind of flying under the radar nationally,
- 1:08:29Speaker 19: but then you win in Tampa on Sunday and all
- 1:08:31Speaker 19: of a sudden, you're kind of the flavor.
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: Of the week.
- 1:08:33Speaker 12: Uh, Mike talked about.
- 1:08:35Speaker 17: Not taking the cheese, you know, like the media and
- 1:08:37Speaker 17: every but everything like that.
- 1:08:39Speaker 19: How do you make sure you avoid let down, especially
- 1:08:43Speaker 19: where you've got a two win team.
- 1:08:44Speaker 17: How do you do Yeah, we've had that mindset that
- 1:08:47Speaker 17: would be Buffalo kind of ignore the always.
- 1:08:49Speaker 12: You know, we got to get some some more detention
- 1:08:52Speaker 12: and some more media.
- 1:08:53Speaker 17: Just know that you know it'y didn't given a week
- 1:08:54Speaker 17: in this league, you know, just coming off a win
- 1:08:57Speaker 17: and they got great players, so we got tough tasks
- 1:09:00Speaker 17: and they're coming here with you know, want to beat
- 1:09:02Speaker 17: in division. We're wearing you know whatever jerseys and they're
- 1:09:06Speaker 17: gonna have something to play for and they still do
- 1:09:08Speaker 17: so they're gonna be a tough challenge. And I think it's,
- 1:09:11Speaker 17: like I said, an't given weeks, so you gotta prepare
- 1:09:13Speaker 17: on a short weekend and kind of win that that battle.
- 1:09:17Speaker 20: A lot of time in going back to February, really
- 1:09:20Speaker 20: learn in this system and trying to get ahead of it.
- 1:09:23Speaker 20: It's your play that stands out to you just from
- 1:09:26Speaker 20: this season that you're really proud of that just maybe
- 1:09:30Speaker 20: reflects the all the work that you put in to
- 1:09:32Speaker 20: sort of trying to get your your hands around this
- 1:09:35Speaker 20: system and will be the leader of the.
- 1:09:36Speaker 17: Off Yeah, I think just getting vitory formation. That's kind
- 1:09:41Speaker 17: of the biggest thing. I think, Uh, that's what I'm
- 1:09:43Speaker 17: proud of. Probably the most is being at the end
- 1:09:45Speaker 17: of the game with the ball you in our hands
- 1:09:47Speaker 17: and kneeing it out. So probably some players in there
- 1:09:50Speaker 17: that you know, some throws I made or something, But
- 1:09:52Speaker 17: I think just as a whole, just working hard to win.
- 1:09:56Speaker 12: In this league.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: It seamst only rush three against you more than we're
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: used to seeing it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 16: What's your thought process in the quarterback when defense is
- 1:10:04Speaker 16: trying to defend you that way?
- 1:10:05Speaker 12: Because that something you were expecting considering how much fools.
- 1:10:07Speaker 17: Is done for Yeah, just be patient, you know, we
- 1:10:10Speaker 17: try to have a little bit of an answer, you know,
- 1:10:13Speaker 17: kind of what they're heating us up with. But uh,
- 1:10:16Speaker 17: just to kind of see the front, see what they're doing.
- 1:10:18Speaker 17: You know, what kind of package is coming in when
- 1:10:20Speaker 17: they're bringing in more dbs and and dropping out defensive linement.
- 1:10:23Speaker 17: But really just you see more and more stuff, and
- 1:10:26Speaker 17: you know some stuff you don't really you know, it
- 1:10:28Speaker 17: isn't scouted as they say, or you have to see
- 1:10:30Speaker 17: much on the film. So just you adapt on the
- 1:10:32Speaker 17: sideline and and Coastanos is you know, one of the
- 1:10:34Speaker 17: best in business at it.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: Drinking teams starting to spy you a little bit more
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: same money they had to spy on you a piece
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: of a found again on Sunday.
- 1:10:41Speaker 17: Yeah, I told Levonta David after the game, so I
- 1:10:44Speaker 17: can't run.
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: I don't need to spy me.
- 1:10:46Speaker 17: But no, I think you know, it takes one less
- 1:10:49Speaker 17: defending for them to put in the pass.
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: You know, it's better for us.
- 1:10:52Speaker 17: But at the same time, you gotta be cognitive of
- 1:10:55Speaker 17: the of the spire, know that he is kind of
- 1:10:57Speaker 17: near the line of scrimmage, so you kind of have
- 1:10:59Speaker 17: to have a guy, uh you're there to block them,
- 1:11:01Speaker 17: and you kind of just gotta have eyes on them,
- 1:11:04Speaker 17: and no, you know, be mindful of what they're doing
- 1:11:06Speaker 17: with the games up front to know they could bake
- 1:11:08Speaker 17: me into something. So that's really the biggest thing.
- 1:11:10Speaker 12: And then from there just.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Yeah, great major debut, guys, digest last year, what did
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: that moment feel like and what's different.
- 1:11:21Speaker 12: Now that very year out?
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:11:23Speaker 12: Uh man, I remember being nervous. It was a night game.
- 1:11:26Speaker 12: I was, you know, sitting on the sideline.
- 1:11:28Speaker 17: Most of the game got thrown it there at the end,
- 1:11:30Speaker 17: I think, uh we ran stick and the starospaded me
- 1:11:34Speaker 17: into a one of my first first throw interception.
- 1:11:38Speaker 12: But uh no, it was cool.
- 1:11:39Speaker 17: I think we had to drive down there and I
- 1:11:41Speaker 17: made some throws, got smacked a few times, so I
- 1:11:44Speaker 17: know it was cool getting there.
- 1:11:45Speaker 12: I think that was a cool environment.
- 1:11:46Speaker 17: Remember last year, you know, at night, but uh shoot
- 1:11:49Speaker 17: yet it's uh, it's just funny to looking back at
- 1:11:52Speaker 17: I don't really we looked back on that.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: It's pretty cool.
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: Joined during the during the play, we have to move
- 1:11:57Speaker 10: you in the pocket.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: How would you communicate it with here a lot of
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: at least something that you can practice or you have
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: to adjust.
- 1:12:03Speaker 12: The communicate with my lineman in what sense when you.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Have to move in the pocket, when when the plays apartment.
- 1:12:09Speaker 17: Oh yeah, there's not much communication. You're kind of just
- 1:12:12Speaker 17: in there, you know, playing football. I think they kind
- 1:12:15Speaker 17: of know, you know, I can You'll move and make something.
- 1:12:18Speaker 17: Some things happen. They're just trying to do their best
- 1:12:20Speaker 17: job to keep me protecting. They've done a great job
- 1:12:22Speaker 17: of that. So I'm really just trying to just to
- 1:12:25Speaker 17: just the games up front of the rush, and I
- 1:12:28Speaker 17: think from there that they're they're doing a better and
- 1:12:29Speaker 17: better job of picking up stunts and games each week
- 1:12:32Speaker 17: so that they're working hard on that.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: And now great moments in history.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: Week four matchup with the Carolina Panthers, it's Evan Paul myself.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: Does alex Is here because it's picks day and she
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: needs her flowers. I was gonna she needs her flowers
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: every Thursday. You have to play with the stick. It's
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: a it's a yeah, it's a bit. Yeah, it's a bit.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: She has some company at the top this week, though.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Does she Oh, we'll find that out later in the show.
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: You're fishing for compliments right now.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Wow, I like it.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Okay, I didn't go the way Fred thought, but you know,
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: for me, it's no big thing.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: That's another great moment.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: All right back here and Patriots unfiltered. It's oh, come on, Fred,
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: it's time for the it's the co Pilot.
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: Time for the Copilot Question of the Week, presented by
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: Microsoft Copilot, where every day is game day and where
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: every decision is powered by insight innovation. Microsoft technology helps
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: to make decisions faster, insights sharper, and strategies more adaptive.
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: Guys this week were of course relevant to the Jets game.
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: Very simple question, a little bit of trick question.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Though, how many times had the Patriots.
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: And Jets met on Thursday night? Yes, it is actually
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: thank you for getting the trick right out of the gate.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: You want to care to You're gonna say three times?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Three times?
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: This will be the fourth. I was gonna say two.
- 1:14:09Speaker 6: Lazar gets it. Oh, that's for it will be the fifth.
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: That includes the of course, the forty nine to nineteen game.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Can we have something?
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I'm just going to point out that the Thanksgiving game
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: was of.
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: Course the Fumble game, which was great fun, but not
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: a technically not.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: A thirty four to thirty one loss in eight Matt
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Castle touchdown to Randy Moss as time expired, lost in
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: overtime to Brett Favara. Correct. And then there was a
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Thursday night game here at Gillette that Brady squeaked by
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Geno Smith Jets I believe like thirteen to ten something
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: like that. Nailed it. Gino Smith was fifteen of thirty
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: fifteen of thirty.
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: Five with three interceptions, and who scored the touchdown Paul
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: that night for the Patriots had nothing for it.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Dobson Aaron Dobson, we're still moving. What do you got next?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: So I didn't have the other one. That's why I
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: guess three. Those are the three I could think of
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: for the very next year. Twenty fourteen Patriots squeak out
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: a win.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: They played last year.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: We're getting there.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: So I missed. I missed a lot.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Did a couple.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: There's five couple, yeah, including including the including the the
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: Thanksgiving game.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I was six total total. They liked those six
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: division games on Thursday night.
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: So Chris Jones blockfield goal right at the end to
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: uh keep preserve the win for the Patriots, blocking a
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Nick Folk. That was a Thursday yard game according to
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: something according to copilot.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: And then the last one, of course last year, twenty
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: four to three, Jets get the win.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Remember what else was special about that game, Paul?
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: Do you remember anything particular that maybe a certain player
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: got in for the first.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Time, Drake May's debut, Drake May.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: There it is Rogers. So there you go.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: There's your co pilot. How do you use copilot?
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: You just go on to go in and ask some
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: questions and it tells you some answers and then you
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: might want to double check them sometimes, but otherwise it
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: worked pretty good.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: Remember remember the butt fumble?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Oh got it?
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: I remember believable.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Thanksgiving night for that whole game.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: It wasn't even just that, like it was just a
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: calamity of errors for the Jets.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Stephen Gregory.
- 1:16:19Speaker 6: Yeah, fumble right on like the greg number twenty eight
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: Edelman with like a like a like they fumbled the
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: kickoff like into and he ran it right back.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: That game felt particularly there was.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: Safety in that game too, Maybe I don't know.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: I remember Gregory there was a touchdown right, Gregory recovered
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: the butt fumble right and then and then on the
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: ensuing kickoff. I think they gave it one.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It was like consecutive touchdown. Yeah, yeah, that was when
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: like that was a comedy.
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: E just weird.
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: Well, especially coming off of you know two years ago
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: they had lost to the Jets in the playoffs that
- 1:16:54Speaker 6: you know, it was still just that. I mean, these
- 1:16:56Speaker 6: were one of the final nails in the coffin with
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: Rex Ryan, which which I enjoyed that the Ryan Jets.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: So we had Francisco call in with his predictions. James
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Pettigrew says, what about calling him sint Francisco could make
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: a good sidekick for father Fred. San Francisco an old
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: woman will be over sold aluminum siding next week. Father Fred,
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: I'm on the case.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: I feel like that's like Fred was like, we need
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: to go talk to Francisco. He knows things right, this
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: is the guy.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Yeah, because he's the guy that I consult with. You know,
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: he'll he'll know, he'll know who he needed to talk.
- 1:17:27Speaker 10: My lock of the week is William gets his Farst
- 1:17:30Speaker 10: shutdown fifty yards lock lock.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Of the Francisco.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Kyle and Main made some money off of Francisco. He said,
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: I turned two bets for seven dollars total into four
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: hundred and thirty because I trusted Francisco's take on Kyle Williams.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Both bets had Kyle Williams tds, digs Henderson Williams TD's
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: and then another Thanks Francisco.
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: But honestly living listening to Pugh twice a day and
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: catch twenty two uh has kept me happy all day
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: every day. I'm loving the direction of this team and
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: coaching is going in so good.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: You Gotta put another bet down on anytime score from
- 1:18:08Speaker 6: ft and Chisholm interceptions.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Oh, Anthony has a good one. Good prediction any uh
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Chius Tonga will score touchdown this season? Perhaps tomorrow? Book it?
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean that one's happening, No question is it?
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: The question is is it a handoff?
- 1:18:24Speaker 16: Or the question is is it multiple one like for
- 1:18:28Speaker 16: full back dive or tomorrow you're up like thirty five
- 1:18:30Speaker 16: to three and then you give it to Tonga to
- 1:18:33Speaker 16: get into into the forty.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: Well, that's the question is would it be a rushing
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: touchdown or would it be a passing?
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: How his hands? That's what someone should have asked Rabel yesterday.
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know if anyone on the planet would
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: be more happy to score a touchdown than that guy,
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: because he just is like want grin on his face.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Every time you mentioned it around him, He's just like,
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: oh please, he gets so excited.
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: I mean Rabel too, Uh when was that yesterday went
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: into just an extensive thing about you know, saying immediately
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: highlight him.
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: You know he plays on the punt was it the
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: punt team? I protection protection? Sorry, you know, just has
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: to eat blocks.
- 1:19:08Speaker 6: Essentially, But a guy contributing all three phases and a
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: big smile on his face. He's right though, I was,
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: I was watching it. I just flipped the game on
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: last night. It was on NFL networking.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: But him getting out of the stands, like he's quick,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Like he doesn't look like three hundred plus guy.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: I think it's impressive when he goes in motion, Like
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: that's the fact that he's that like a lot of
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: nimble to like go in motion and him and like
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: he's balanced, like he doesn't get like over his skis,
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: and like he's he's really good at it. He's really
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: good at it.
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: Like I think it's hard sometime to comprehend that like
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: a three hundred plus pound human could just run faster
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: than you know, an average sized human. But these guys
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: are just different.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: Like I was joking around when Henderson's running down the
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: sideline and he's like so athletic and so smooth that
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: he has the ability to look to the sideline and he's.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Just like, that's just good stuff.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: That's athleticism at a different level.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: It's kind of the Tonga signing though, is like you know,
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: we're just talking about the buffalo. When the Patriots were rolling,
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: they had these obscure signings of these guys that no
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: one has really heard of, and then all of a
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: sudden they would come to the Patriots and they'd be
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: like a star role player, like Tonga is this year.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: That's like a good sign that they're you know, you
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: know that you're you're back.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: You know, you know, we just.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: Saw Rob Ninkovich, like, you know, like guys like that that.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Just aren't Wes Welker, it's.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Not Milton Williams, like you're not you know, paying him
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: top of market. But they they aggressively went after Tonga
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: like early in free agency was part of that whole
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: wave and they knew something.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: Yep, Christoph Virginia has a quiz for Paul to stump him.
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: Note unless otherwise stated, all these questions do not include
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: overseas games. All the answers relate to NFL games, not
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: concerts or other events. Okay, Question one. This season, has
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: or had the Patriots play in high Mark Stadium in
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: Nissan Stadium for the final time. When was the last
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: time the Patriots played in a stadium that is no
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: longer in use? When was the last time the Patriots
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: played in a stadium that is no longer in use?
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I don't think this is right, but I just go
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: to Chargers twenty fourteen.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: That's exactly right, qualcom stately.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Wow, that seems really far back, eleven years ago. There's
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: been no other news. I was trying to Yeah, and
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: that's that's good. The two that came out. I didn't
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: even think of that one.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: There's a lot.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I was thinking San Francisco Candlestick, which would have been
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: like eight ish something like that, and I was thinking Dallas,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: which is probably maybe even seven.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: That game wasn't twenty fourteen, Paul, do you know the
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: score of the game? Uh, this is twenty fourteen Rogers.
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: If I remember this twenty fourteen away.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: No, Patriots won twenty three to fourteen.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: That's I was in the area.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Patriots once defeated the Panthers thirty two to twenty nine
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: in front of what was the at the time a
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: record attendance at this stadium. Which stadium was this NRG,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: that's correct, NRG.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: The most underrated super Bowl of all the Super Bow.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: It was a really good That Super Bowl is struggle
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: back and forth.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: The good game.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: School was first quarter, the school was third quarter, couldn't
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: stop or second and fourth?
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: Yep.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: I just feel like they, you know, because the Panthers
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: weren't exactly like a dynasty right in themselves. It gets overlooked,
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: but that might have been the best game other than thee.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: In August nineteen ninety eight, Paul August nineteen ninety Patriots
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: participated in the second highest attended NFL single game of
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: all time. This game was played overseas in which stadium
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Wembley incorrect ninety eight in international games, yep.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: In preseason overseas it was traveling nation.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: Is it Mexico City? It was, technically it may not
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: be considered overseas. It was the Stadio Esteca one hundred
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: and six, four and twenty four.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: Christmas, leading to say overseas?
- 1:23:28Speaker 12: Right?
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: Too many people?
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: Was that on universe?
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: Was that over the seas? In at that game called
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: do you know who they beat? Saints? Incorrect? Evan, would
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: you just throw that up there? Oakland Cowboys twenty one
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: to three? I have no recollection of that. In final question,
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: the Patriots have played twenty three playoff games in Gillette Stadium.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: What is the Patriots all time playoff record in these games?
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Oh, they've played twenty three games.
- 1:23:57Speaker 21: Yep, playoff games here, So home playoff uses nine that's ten, nineteen,
- 1:24:07Speaker 21: twenty and three, yeah, twenty and three.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: Yeah, twenty is that right?
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: They won't know.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Four You didn't have the answer. It's nineteen and four. Yeah,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: I missed one because Baltimore twenty.
- 1:24:20Speaker 6: Nine, Oh yeah, yeah, ten, eleven to Baltimore's Yeah you
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: we are sorry.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Eleven and twelve you lost three home playoff games to
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Baltimore's Jets and Titans.
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: That was twenty twelve. Rights, what's his name? Took out
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: a keep to leave even that was.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Yeah, shame Bernie, Bernie Poward public enemy number one.
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: That's Stephen Ridley. They got he got the other dimension
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: knocked the out.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: Alex is here, Alex rivalry, So what do you have
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: to report?
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: I was just you know, at the ground press conference.
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: I'm sure Evan's talked a little bit about it.
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: Well, we watched it live.
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: Yep, there you go, so you guys kind of know
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: what went down.
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Then I big time.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: There were some quotes in my little story and send
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: it to you for approvals.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: And now I'm here, okay, little ready for your flowers
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: as always.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: That's five We got five minutes till.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: I know we're not going to jump right into it.
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: But no, but then Gronk and Camille were popping around
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: our little office area.
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: Oh shoot, really yeah, he wanted I wanted him to
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: sign the jersey at my.
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: Desk a little to this morning, so fortunately I didn't
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: know they would be in there, so that worked out well.
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: Mary, the laugh was in full.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: That was my favorite part, I thought. When when he
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: said you know, all the familiar faces and pointed out
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Mike Rees, I thought for sure he was going to
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: make a comment like but Mike, am I right?
- 1:25:47Speaker 4: Did you guys hear the bit about mister Kraft saying like, hey,
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: we have the Jets in town.
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: He's like, what's the signing bonus?
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Well, shorthanded at tight end could use him, that's a
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: said Hooper on the can cussed.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I thought it's just really cool to you know,
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: like my generation of Patriots fans like that Gronk Edelman,
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: like that's the team that we probably identify with the most.
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: And to see these guys come back and you know,
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: didn't really end great here for Gronk when he left,
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: you know, retired and then eventually went to Tampa Bay,
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: and to see him be able to come back and
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: you know, next year probably be in the Patriots Hall
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: of Fame, and it's just cool that we can come
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: back and have these guys back again a little bit
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: because absolutely twenty eighteen did not.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: I wish it was with Tom.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's close. I mean he's got a statue,
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: I know, you know, but I think that you know,
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: twenty eighteen, he was really hurt, Gronk, like he was
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: really banged up, and you know, it just it was
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: cool to see him that he wanted to do this
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: and yep, he's back.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Jonathan from Fontana, a first time emailer, wanted to ask
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: you if you guys are familiar with the social media
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: account Drake May Lover.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: Are we familiar?
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: He has one hundred and eighty thousand followers on Instagram
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: and his account consists of glazing May in the best
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: possible way. I know the paper does a good job
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: with it. I know it.
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: That's good.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: I know the page. I swear. Oh, I'm sorry.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: I know the Patriots and even NFL accounts have mentioned
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: him on social media prior, and I've been following him
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: since last year before Drake May blew up. And when
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: is Evan going to reveal it's been him?
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: What's the emailer? I'm sorry, I just what I have
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: to admit.
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: I wish it was me because that's a great account
- 1:27:39Speaker 3: and it's not me. Now there are some impostors out there.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: There's Will Campbell lover, now there's Traveon Henderson lover. It's
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: gotten a little bit out of hand. Like Drake May
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: Lover is the OG and I wish it was me
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: because he does a great job. The best part are the.
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: T shirts that he sells, and it's just I love
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: Drake like the I love New York design, but way
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: less artistry and the font it's literally just like a
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: generic impact font. Microsoft word was like awkwards.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: Like built in design.
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: Your own, and they're everywhere.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: The kids love these shirts.
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: Yeah, so we were at the Bruins game. Was that
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: last week? And uh they showed a kid on the
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: JumboTron that was wearing the Drake May Lover T shirt.
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: The place erupted and like, I was, like, he's not
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: even here.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: Happened at the Celtics game too, when Drake and Will
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: Campbell were at the Celtics game and they showed them
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: on the screen and then shout out to the TD
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: Garden production crew because they instantly cut to kids wearing
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: the I Love Drake May t shirts.
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: That must be like kind of weird though, right that,
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: Like it's like is nice that like he has such
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: an obsessed fan base.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: But like nobody in the army has I Love Evan
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Lazar shirt.
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: No, But like, did you think it gets at a
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: little here, Like he's not even there at this Bruins
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: game and there's kids walking around wearing these T shirts
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: that we captured the youth.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: That's wrong with unabashed fandom, you like getting all the recipes, give.
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: Him some space the comments.
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: Don't let him have too much.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: But let him guy, Guy Christians in LA. What's up? Christian?
- 1:29:26Speaker 13: Hey, you guys, what a what an amazing uh press
- 1:29:30Speaker 13: conference with Gronk. It just brought back so many credible
- 1:29:33Speaker 13: memories of watching him play and some of the energy
- 1:29:37Speaker 13: that he bought to the team. Just he lit the
- 1:29:40Speaker 13: stadium up every time he walked in, you know, every
- 1:29:42Speaker 13: time they went, they went to Gronk on the sideline,
- 1:29:45Speaker 13: no matter if we were winning and losing. You kind
- 1:29:46Speaker 13: of just thought, you just put Gronk in. Let's go
- 1:29:48Speaker 13: put Gronk in, you know. So it was great to
- 1:29:51Speaker 13: see him and to hear him be joyful and you
- 1:29:54Speaker 13: enjoying his life after football. It's one of those things
- 1:29:57Speaker 13: that a stan watching from the outside. You watched the
- 1:30:00Speaker 13: kids who are somewhat younger than us, you know, right,
- 1:30:02Speaker 13: Paul and Fred. You watch these kids come in the league,
- 1:30:05Speaker 13: you watch them take off, you watch them get a personality,
- 1:30:07Speaker 13: and you watch them grow up, and it's like kind
- 1:30:09Speaker 13: of being a being a parent, right because they belonged
- 1:30:12Speaker 13: to us, because they're Patriot players. So that was just
- 1:30:15Speaker 13: really amazing. But onto football, I really want to nitpick
- 1:30:19Speaker 13: about us not being able to score in the third
- 1:30:23Speaker 13: and fourth quarter or mid to the mid third quarter
- 1:30:25Speaker 13: to in fourth quarter. It's really bothered me. I know
- 1:30:28Speaker 13: it's going to come back and haunt us. And also
- 1:30:31Speaker 13: I wanted to have you guys address why we're having
- 1:30:34Speaker 13: such problems in the red zone from like the fifteen
- 1:30:36Speaker 13: or ten in. Thank you, guys, I'll take it off
- 1:30:38Speaker 13: the off the air.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: All right. Thanks.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: They had to score in the fourth quarter against Tennessee,
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: against Cleveland, against Caroline, a couple of them.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: You have to know the context. They did take their
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: foot off the gas, like if.
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: They absolutely needed to keep scoring because the other team
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: was also scoring.
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Yeah, total in between, they would have kept scoring. I'm
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: not I'm not saying it's nothing that they because I
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: do feel like their offense has a been as good
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: in the second half in general as it has in
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: the first half. But I'm not necessarily concerned yet. And
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: is what are the red zone numbers?
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: They're lasting the league in red zone defense?
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: No, no, no, offense.
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: Offense. He was asking, Yeah, he was asking offense.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: Or they having so much problems from the fifteen in
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: And I didn't realize that was an I thought he.
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: Was talking about defense. I don't think that's I think
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: he was talking about offense. I don't think that that's
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: been a huge issue on offense. I didn't either, I
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: mean in this game. I think I mentioned this yesterday
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: Tampa Bay was came into the game. They had only
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: allowed one goal line rushing touchdown the entire season. So
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: running the ball in on this Bucks defense is as
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: hard as any defense in football. So I'm not surprised that,
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: like the sequence before the half like that, they got
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: stuffed a couple times before they finally threw it in
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: and fourth down. But the red zone defense has been bad.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: That's a concern.
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: Yeah, quick one before we get to the picks. Uh,
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: let's see Curtis and Saint Louis. He wants us to
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: re draft twenty twenty four quarterbacks. So the order was
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: Williams Daniels, May, Pennix McCarthy, Knicks. How would you reorder
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: that one?
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: It's hard not to say May May first, Caleb Williams.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: I would go Williams Daniels. Yeah, there probably Nick's Pennix McCarthy,
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: because I haven't seen anything from McCarthy yet. But that's
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: not his fault.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: He's pretty hurd what I'd say, Yeah, I might put
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: I might put u Pennix ahead of Nicks. I wouldn't,
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: you wouldn't.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: I might put McCarthy ahead of Penix. I think Pennix
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: has been bad.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: Okay, but I think your list, though, you could put whoever.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: I think May is the consensus number one, and I
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: think Jaden Daniels number two. Right everybody, I would have
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: Williams Williams, I'm sorry, I mean a lot of people
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: would have Daniels ahead. No, I would have Williams two
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: because of the I think he's showing more potential.
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: And still worry about his attitude.
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: But yeah, it's a bummer that some of the concerns
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: about Jaden Daniels's durability are starting to show up. And
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: I don't know if it's necessarily because he's the way
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: he's built, Like, I don't. I think it's more about
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: the running than it is necessarily that he's a more
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: slender guy, because Lamar is like a pretty slender guy too,
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: And you know, I got hurt. He does get hurt
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: a little bit, but not like you know, he still
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: has two m vps. I don't like redrafting as an exercise.
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: I don't enjoy it.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Why you have more.
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: Like it that you can't have.
- 1:33:48Speaker 5: You can't someone that loves the draft so much I.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: Don't care for it to participate.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: That's all all right, It's that time of the week,
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: and Paul, you're gonna tell us how we did last
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: week and how we do are doing overall. Big shock,
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: Shaka shaka last week. Evan, Wow, my squirrel fines and.
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: I won the picks last year, followed by everybody else
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: at nine and five. The whole team got ninety five.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: The whole store got the flu with the spread, this
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: is a little bit more impressive, Evan. Again ten and four,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: but unlike the overall, we're all just one game behind.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Significant gap Mike and Alex seven and seven, Paul and
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Fred six and eight. Ooh, so ten and four won.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: The next best record is three games worse. That's saying something, Evan.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: So here are Evan, here are your updated standings. Overall,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: Alex maintains their lead at one on one, forty seven
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: and one, Fred ninety seven fifty one and one, Mike
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: ninety five fifty three and one, Paul nine fifty eight
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: and one, and Evan eighty eight sixty in.
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: One with the spread.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: It's Fred Cursh's world and we're all just living in
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: it eighty two and sixty seven, followed by Alex seventy
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: four and seventy five, Paul seventy three and seventy six,
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: Evan seventy two and seventy seven, and Mike sixty six
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: and eighty three.
- 1:35:24Speaker 2: Six back.
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: You might have se I'm actually oh and oh because
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: I'm never here for this segment, so it doesn't really I.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: Don't get to have the well poisoned by Alex.
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't. Really, it doesn't count.
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: All right, let's get going. We have to hurry because
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: it's a short week.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: Only one no no band only one by short week.
- 1:35:47Speaker 2: So we're gonna skip over the Patriots on Thursday night
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: and we're gonna move to Sunday morning at nine thirty.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: It was really nice of them to have an I
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: thirty game on a red zone Sunday. Mike started off.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: Right, this is again, so the first ever game in
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: Spain for the NFL. It's the three and seven commanders
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: at the three and seven Dolphins that'll sell it.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: International NFL Network Dolphins by two and a half, Mariota.
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: Dolphins by two and a half, Mariota.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: Yeah, where is it, Mariota.
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: I think I'm gonna go with the Dolphins here. I
- 1:36:29Speaker 6: feel like they seem like they're not dead. I saw
- 1:36:31Speaker 6: the post locker room celebrations. Seem like they're pretty excited.
- 1:36:34Speaker 6: Mike McDaniel cruising around trolling Buffalo fans, which I did say, see.
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: After you guys told me about that. So I'll go
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: to Miami International. Miami, I'm gonna too.
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: I don't really know why, Probably because I was so
- 1:36:46Speaker 4: agonized to not take them against the spread last week,
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: and then I played out exactly as I feared.
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: He didn't just take him against the spread. This guy,
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: I know it'll come out right.
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: I didn't trust my gup.
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: I like how Mike McDaniel blamed his spotting at the
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: elbow Room on AI and it was very clearly live
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: in the area. And also the elbow room is nasty.
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: I don't like that place.
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: It would be called the ass room there.
- 1:37:19Speaker 5: I wonder when last time they cleared the floors is.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: Two thousand and three.
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: Maybe there's a live stream where you can just watch
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: what's going on in the.
- 1:37:29Speaker 12: Well.
- 1:37:29Speaker 4: Sometimes I check the live stream when we play down
- 1:37:31Speaker 4: in Miami and see if no socks.
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: There every time I go by there, because you know,
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: like it's open air kind of, it's just so packed.
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: It doesn't look fun.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: It isn't you know, it isn't fun.
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: Anyways, I'm just gonna say I thought we had a
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: hurry Miami. Yummy.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: I didn't expect to be doing this, but Miami. Yeah,
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: the Washington injuries are real and Miami obviously still playing hard.
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: That was a big one. I'll go with Miami as well,
- 1:38:01Speaker 2: setting up that big showdown for later in the season.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: Between nothing between who the Miami Week seventeen, I'm not
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: even sure they're going to show up.
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: Sunday at one, Sunday at one on Fox, the five
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: and five Panthers against the three and six Falcons.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: Falcons by three and a half.
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: I can't figure these teams out.
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: I know these are two tough ones.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I know. Carolina fell back to earth last week.
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: Come Paul, I'm gonna take Atlanta. They played a normal
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: game for them. I'll take I'll lay the points at home.
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: I'll take Atlanta only because they're at home.
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: Losing to Tyler Shuck is probably the like one of
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: the sneaky upsets like Carolina is like kind of looking okay,
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: and look.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: I had a chance to be six and four, Like
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: what a game behind?
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: And they lose at home Saints Tyler Shock.
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: It was like a thirty five year old rookie like
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: I just but I'm going to take the Panthers because
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: I feel like this is them. I feel like they're
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: just going to be Sea Sawing.
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: A good pick. I thought about it.
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: I'm not going to I'm going to take Atlanta because
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: of that thirty to nothing beat down the Panthers gave
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: him earlier, and I think that might snap the Falcons
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: into a little focus. I'm going to take Atlanta, but
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: I agree with Fred and Evan it's a bad pick.
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: Watch and learn. This is how you win the picks contest.
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: You take Atlanta to win, but you take the points.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: That's how you win.
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: Take the hook yep, I still don't know what that means.
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: Sunday at once the point, so you lose by a
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: field goal, but you win because of the half.
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: Why is it a hook though, that's what they call
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: Why do you call all the things that you call
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: the something?
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: Because that's why I refer.
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: To that half point as the hook.
- 1:39:52Speaker 2: But I don't know stand why. It's because it's bait.
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: Don't baits, you go take the hook.
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: This is had that one to a glossary missed.
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: I missed this Spanish fishing.
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: He's just the brilliance, the simplicity and the brilliance of
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: Fred Kirsh.
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: Listen, the houses do call me. It's so impressed houses.
- 1:40:15Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: Sunday at one, it's a throwback game for Buffalo, apparently
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: from the logo Tampa Bay six and three at Buffalo
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: six and three.
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: Uh, Buffalo by five and a half. That's a tough one.
- 1:40:29Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah, good game, Buffalo by five and a half.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: You know what, proh, watch your shoes, Buffalo.
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with them.
- 1:40:38Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with Buffalo, but I'm gonna take the points.
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: Please for Tampa Bay. I think Baker makes it a
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: little close.
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: But Baker bakes.
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: Tampa's injury situation a little better this week.
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: Maybe maybe not a Bucky I guess would be yes,
- 1:40:53Speaker 3: Bucky's coming back for obvious reasons.
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: I'm gonna take Buffalo, get right game. I think the
- 1:41:00Speaker 5: Bucks cover.
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: I think uh, I agree with Alex, I think Bills
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: win Bucks cover post game. But I'm with Fred that
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: window seat on Sean McDermott's getting a little toasty.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: Would not.
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: I don't think they would.
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: But as the head coach, if they fire him, that
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: could be if they.
- 1:41:28Speaker 3: Lose the division to the Patriots, that region is going
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: to be up and have.
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: To go to the super Bowl.
- 1:41:35Speaker 2: Bill, one Bill's fan has a large following on on Socials, said,
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: can you imagine it's more likely the Patriots win a
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: super Bowl before the Bill?
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: That would be amazing. We did a whole rebuild it
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: so good.
- 1:41:49Speaker 5: With their generational talent at quarterback.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: I want to backs better.
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the Patriots have a generational quarterback. I
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: don't know if I'm allowed to say that in front.
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: Of Yeah, he can say no, Yeah, I just I
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: just wanted to ask for permission.
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: First, Buffalo, I'm going to take Buffalo to as Alex said,
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: in a get right game, so I will lay the points.
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: I would love to pick Tampa Bay out right here.
- 1:42:16Speaker 2: I can't do it. My feelings say Buffalo does rally
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: around the coach and all that stuff and come back.
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: But I will take the points just so that if
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: if Tampa Bay does win or it comes close. I
- 1:42:28Speaker 2: can still have some joy out of this game. Sunday
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: at one. UH, it's the lack the Chargers at seven
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: and three against the five and four Jaguars. Very disappointing Jaguars.
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: That was an unbelievable collapse last week. The lack of
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: three point favorites on the road, I think, I think, but.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: A legendary collapse by the Jags.
- 1:42:51Speaker 9: Yeah, I think.
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: I think they're shook. I think that's something that not
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: not Tyler shook, shook. COK. I'm going to take the
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: lack and I'm gonnalay the points like you shuck a.
- 1:43:01Speaker 5: Plam same, I'm gonna.
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: I'm gonna I think the I think they're the paper Jaguars,
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: and I think I'm gonna take the Chargers both ways.
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: I think the Jaguars are frauds, fraudulent. You're taking the Jaguars. No,
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: I'm taking the Chargers both Chargers. I'm gonna take the
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: Charges as well. Just the physicality too much for for Jacksonville.
- 1:43:26Speaker 2: I am taking the Jaguars to win the game too.
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: So there.
- 1:43:30Speaker 5: Trevor Lawrence upset lock of the week or not quite
- 1:43:33Speaker 5: a lock.
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: I have to feel. I'll let you know when it's
- 1:43:37Speaker 2: a lot. I'll let you know. Sunday at one, Chicago
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: six and three at Minnesota four and five, Minnesota by three. Really,
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: I'm Chicago.
- 1:43:49Speaker 6: I'm upset about that respect. I'm gonna take no respect.
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: I'm gonna take Chicago the upset on the road. J. J.
- 1:43:56Speaker 6: McCarthy Just I hate harder guys. They look at they're
- 1:43:59Speaker 6: putting on stacked because about it.
- 1:44:03Speaker 2: What do the sharps know about this? Because we're all
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: thinking Chicago should win this game, yet Minnesota is favored
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: by three. What do they know? What's going on?
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: What do they know?
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: What they don't know?
- 1:44:14Speaker 5: But whatever they know, I'm going it's freezing here. I
- 1:44:17Speaker 5: go to imagine it's freezing.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: Minnesota have Chicago's number overall, probably the game will be
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: played inside out.
- 1:44:25Speaker 5: Yeah that Minnesota. Thank you?
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: Content he condescending.
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: I did not say that.
- 1:44:32Speaker 5: I know in Evan's condescending.
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: Was not condescending at all.
- 1:44:35Speaker 12: I hear.
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: He's afraid of women, but aren't we all.
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: I am afraid of being accused of man's plaining. I
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: don't that does worry me. Your man's plain to me,
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: manling your men.
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: There was one time I was like, started telling me
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: about the Bruins, about like their power plane.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: He's like, I probably don't need to explain this self aware.
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, but he he did.
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: Man, that's like nothing else he's aware.
- 1:45:04Speaker 2: That's when I started about baseball. Paul's like, all.
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: Right, the picture needs to get on the map.
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: We gotta hurry.
- 1:45:15Speaker 5: I just said that you weren't listening.
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: I was getting.
- 1:45:18Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: So all Man's spread of why the Vikings are favorite,
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: I would assume it is Brian Flores against Caleb Williams
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: that the Sharps are worried about his defense against Caleb.
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: You can see he's gonna be able to you know,
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: read the coverage and the rush. But I'm gonna stick
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: with my guy Ben Johnson because he's cooking just like
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: Mike Rabel and uh, you know, we were both right
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: in that argument, because Ben Johnson might also be a
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: good head coach.
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: So I'm taking the Bears. I'm going to take Chicago too.
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: I'm not surprising why I'm not, as you know, perplexed
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: by the spread. I think Chicago has been a bottom
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: dweller for a long time and not now, you know,
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: we'll see if they can win a division game. Yeah,
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: I haven't really shown that they can do it.
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: I'd be upset if I was a Bears fan.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: I will take Chicago to see if they can keep
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: it going.
- 1:46:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with Chicago as well. Sunday at one
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: on Fox, the five three and one Packers are at
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: the two and eight interim coached Giants.
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: Talk about teams that are tough to figure. Packers by
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: seven and a half. Any Jackson Dart still in the
- 1:46:32Speaker 1: I don't know, but you get the fire coach bump.
- 1:46:35Speaker 3: It's gonna be Jas start.
- 1:46:37Speaker 6: Famous eating W's I love me some Jameis Winston starting
- 1:46:42Speaker 6: Russell Wilson.
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: Huh, yeah, no, he got Jamis is the though.
- 1:46:47Speaker 6: Green Bay is as up and down as anybody, I'm
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: going to take Green Bay and I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:46:51Speaker 6: lay the points.
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: This is I feel like one of those good green
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: Bay weeks where everybody's like, oh, Jordan Love he's back.
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: It's also that time of year we have to start
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: looking at weather.
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you know that's gonna be probably.
- 1:47:03Speaker 7: Whether.
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going green Bay too. I think green Bay
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: only played like when they play a good team. I
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: don't know if they're as good as the good team,
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: but when they play these bad teams, they so.
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: I will take green Bay to win. I will take
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: the points. I am thinking of green Bay losing to Cleveland,
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: green Bay losing to Carolina, and I'm thinking at home,
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: the Giants keep it close.
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: Reasonable, I disagree. I think green Bay covers this game.
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: Talking about the hot seat, I think he's feeling yeah.
- 1:47:44Speaker 6: Quantity guy may give us, but I'm gonna yeah, Jamis
- 1:47:51Speaker 6: Winston is amazing.
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: I gotta go green Bay all the way here, all right.
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: I'm very eager to know the spread of this game.
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: Sunday at one on CBS, the BEng at three and six,
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: visit the Steelers at five and.
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: Four, Pittsburgh by five and a half. Wow, tempted.
- 1:48:10Speaker 2: Wow, that's an interesting spread. A lot of respect for
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: the Steelers.
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: They are But Joe Flacco.
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: Is he playing?
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:48:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: It sounds like Burrow's not going to be I won't
- 1:48:22Speaker 6: be back for the Patriots maybe December, but he's working
- 1:48:24Speaker 6: with Thanksgiving. I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Cinci in
- 1:48:27Speaker 6: the upset. I'm gonna go with an upset here. I
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: don't know, man, I just I feel like the Pittsburgh
- 1:48:33Speaker 6: Steelers and Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: It's just it's gonna fall apart. I think it's already starting.
- 1:48:37Speaker 2: He stinks, all right, How do you look Sunday night?
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: Not good?
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: Same way that's every other game. And yet the Steelers
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: are five and a half point favorites. What do you
- 1:48:48Speaker 2: make of that? Defould probably do, but they score a
- 1:48:52Speaker 2: hell of a lot of points even with Joe Flacco
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: on the road. Though, Joe Flacco and Pittsburgh. The Chargers
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: were making front of the Steelers defense last week, weren't.
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: They Chargers were making fun of I don't know, Yeah,
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: they were. What were they doing.
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: They had this whole wrestling thing where the Chargers were
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: had the the wrestler had the Charger thing on.
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: And you're talking about social media social I thought you
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: meant the players.
- 1:49:21Speaker 2: I was interested when I thought it was real social
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: media to social media they were making fun of the Steelers.
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: Were thinking, it's like a postgame, That's what I was thinking.
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: Like they stopping on the midfield logo, locker room access.
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: They were mocking the Steelers defense or something.
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: Like Chargers social media. Yeah, Okay.
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: As a general rule, I don't like to bet against
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: the Steelers at home historically, really philosophies philosophies, and I'm
- 1:49:52Speaker 4: going to continue that trend because I think the Bengals
- 1:49:56Speaker 4: defense is terrible, but I think the Bengals still cover.
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: I wonder what the Giants new head coach his philosophy.
- 1:50:03Speaker 22: Is, Mike Kofka Kafka, Oh get it, okay, Kaka a
- 1:50:13Speaker 22: great philosopher.
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: I've heard the name Kafka, but.
- 1:50:16Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: You're probably right, ev do you have a pick?
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: As we're running out of that I always make un
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: a friend when he says we have to hurry, but
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: he's right, today we have to.
- 1:50:27Speaker 3: I having anxiety knowing that we only have ten minutes left.
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: I'm gonna take the Bengals. I think the Bengals just
- 1:50:33Speaker 3: score a ton of points and I don't think Pittsburgh
- 1:50:35Speaker 3: is gonna be able to keep up. And I like
- 1:50:38Speaker 3: the Bengals in this game.
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: I am rooting for the Bengals big because I hate
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers. However, However, I don't like Joe Flacco in Pittsburgh.
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: I don't like Joe Fla in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is going
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: to win the game. I'll take the points just in case.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: I'll do a Fred you feel good either.
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: Way, smart Pittsburgh, but I'll take the points.
- 1:51:01Speaker 1: That's probably the following Alex's philosophies.
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: That's probably the right pick. But I just really want
- 1:51:06Speaker 3: the Steelers.
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: To listen Sunday at one on Fox, it's uh four
- 1:51:09Speaker 2: to five Houston at one in eight Tennessee Houston by
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: seven and a half.
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: Davis Mills again or could score negative points against that defense.
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: That's very true.
- 1:51:19Speaker 6: Wow, for those wondering, I hope the Giants aren't adopting
- 1:51:22Speaker 6: the Kafka philosophy. He Franz Kop is famous for his
- 1:51:25Speaker 6: surreal and anxiety filled stories that explore themes of alienation,
- 1:51:29Speaker 6: existential dread, and overwhelming bureaucracy, My.
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: Life and my co pilot.
- 1:51:34Speaker 1: I'll take I'll take his existential dread. I'll take you
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: the points.
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: Houston Texans defense dominant Houston Texans.
- 1:51:45Speaker 3: I'm gonna take the Texans as well. How about Davis Mills?
- 1:51:48Speaker 23: How about a little scrappy last week running? And for
- 1:51:51Speaker 23: his best how about Acid Rain. I'm going to take
- 1:51:55Speaker 23: Houston both ways as well. That's a line from Best
- 1:51:58Speaker 23: of Times. By the way, I don't know what that is.
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: It's a movie.
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Houston both ways for me as well. We moved
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: to four o five. It's six and four forty nine
- 1:52:06Speaker 2: Ers at the three and six.
- 1:52:07Speaker 1: Cardinals Niners by two and a half on the road.
- 1:52:12Speaker 2: Oh man, this is an interesting Mac Jones.
- 1:52:15Speaker 6: I was so mad at myself for taking San Francisco
- 1:52:17Speaker 6: with the Rams last week. It was just stupidity as well.
- 1:52:21Speaker 6: I just don't know why I did it. But ah,
- 1:52:23Speaker 6: Arizona Jacobe Brossett. Something's never It's like over there, battle
- 1:52:30Speaker 6: of Patriots quarterbacks over the last few years.
- 1:52:32Speaker 1: Shoot, give me, give me the upset at home. I'll
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: take Arizona plus two oh to win. Yeah.
- 1:52:38Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: I love how Deuce is picking. Parlance has not changed.
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: He just goes back and forth for thirty seconds.
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: You can see, you can feel the Wiels turning. Yeah,
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: everyone knows.
- 1:52:50Speaker 5: I have no idea what Niners Niners?
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: Yeah? Mac Jones, yep.
- 1:52:56Speaker 1: So I watched Arizona play one of the least competitive
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: games of football I've ever seen last week against Seattle.
- 1:53:02Speaker 1: For that reason, I will take the Cardinals. The teams
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: can't be that bad two weeks in a Roway, like
- 1:53:07Speaker 1: I think they can.
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: I'll take the forty nine Ers four five on Fox,
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: the seven and two Seahawks against the seven and two
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: rom Now.
- 1:53:16Speaker 1: This is a game, foall game, folks are by two
- 1:53:20Speaker 1: and a half.
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: This should be a good game.
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: I'm torn on this one. I'm, you know, closet a
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: Seattle fan.
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: How good is the Seahawks?
- 1:53:29Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean according to like tv AA, this is
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: like one verse two. These are like the two best
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: teams in the league right now. Yep, you know what,
- 1:53:36Speaker 6: I'm gonna put my fan hat on and I'm gonna.
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: Go with Seattle on the road. I'm gonna go with
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: the upset trying to make.
- 1:53:41Speaker 7: A move here.
- 1:53:43Speaker 5: It's two and a half or three and a half.
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: Two and a half and even really has negligible.
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: You could hedge you if you want, Yeah, but that's yeah,
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: you might as well just pick it out right.
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: So, Fred, it's two and a half, but the Seahawks
- 1:53:58Speaker 3: are on the road, so it's really, oh.
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: You haven't been here. It's actually it's different now, So it's.
- 1:54:04Speaker 3: Really a toss up, is what they're saying.
- 1:54:06Speaker 1: It's about as after ten years of me telling him
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: that that's not a thing. They told me.
- 1:54:12Speaker 2: It's still a thing. It's just not three anymore. It's
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: more like two.
- 1:54:15Speaker 3: It's okay, I'm going to Seattle. I think Seattle's played
- 1:54:18Speaker 3: like the best team in the league. I'm not saying
- 1:54:20Speaker 3: they are, but I think they've played that way and
- 1:54:22Speaker 3: in regular season. I think that they they kind of
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: get up for this game to kind of prove themselves,
- 1:54:27Speaker 3: and I think Seattle.
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: I'm sticking with my Rams at home. I think they
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: get the job done. But I agree that Seattle has
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: played the best.
- 1:54:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I will go with the Rams as well. Division
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: Game Sunday four twenty five, CBS four and five, Baltimore
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: at two and seven, Cleveland.
- 1:54:48Speaker 1: Baltimore by eight and a half.
- 1:54:49Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:54:49Speaker 3: Cleveland has played them a little tough though in the past.
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: Yeah, but I don't think they've got But yeah, I
- 1:54:57Speaker 6: just I can't bet on that. I continue to think
- 1:55:00Speaker 6: Baltimore is going to just continue to search. So I'm
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: gonna take I'll take Baltimore, and I'll actually lay the points.
- 1:55:04Speaker 2: You're going to lay those points?
- 1:55:08Speaker 3: Yeah, me too, Me too. I think Baltimore is gonna
- 1:55:13Speaker 3: get hot, me too.
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I normally don't like to lay that many points
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: in a division game, especially on the road, but I
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: will do it because of Dylan Gabriel Baltimore.
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: So here's so you're right to think that, But when
- 1:55:28Speaker 2: the houses give you that spread with a division game, listen,
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: so lay the points Baltimore. This so when it's a division,
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: When it's a division game spread houses know that, funny
- 1:55:41Speaker 2: things happen. But when it's a big spread.
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: Gabriel made last week the spike, but it wasn't.
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: We have to hire On CBS, Kansas City is playing Denver.
- 1:55:52Speaker 2: Guess where Denver and Denver? Of course five and four
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: Chiefs at the eight and two Broncos.
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: Uh, Kansas City by three and a half.
- 1:56:04Speaker 3: That's annoying.
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that.
- 1:56:07Speaker 6: I feel the same way about Kansas City and Baltimore.
- 1:56:09Speaker 6: I'm on Kansas City now. I will take them over
- 1:56:12Speaker 6: b Nicks, even though, really, I mean, good game against
- 1:56:14Speaker 6: this defense, you know, against Denver defense, Patrick Malmes, that's
- 1:56:17Speaker 6: a good matchup worth watching.
- 1:56:18Speaker 1: But I'm gonna go with Casey how many points? Three
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: and a half? Three and a half.
- 1:56:22Speaker 4: For that reason, Mike, I will take the Chiefs, but uh,
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: Broncos cover at in another home game.
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: I don't think the Chiefs just win. You think the
- 1:56:31Speaker 3: Chiefs win big wow, because I think Denver.
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: It's in Denver.
- 1:56:34Speaker 2: You want Denver to be bad?
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: No, I just think they are bad.
- 1:56:38Speaker 7: Well.
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: Their offense in bow knicks really struggling, and so I
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: think that Kansas City rolls in Denver.
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: Evan kind of made a convincing argument. So I was
- 1:56:50Speaker 1: kind of on the fence. But I will take the
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: Chiefs both ways because that that offense.
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll be rooting hard for Denver. But Chiefs win
- 1:56:58Speaker 2: Sunday and be sure and Universe and the Peacock probably
- 1:57:06Speaker 2: the six the six and three Lions are at the
- 1:57:09Speaker 2: seven and two Eagles.
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: I got to watch the Eagles again.
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: Philly by one and a half. But you know you're
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: not interested in watching a J. Brown pout.
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: I think the Eagles are the most boring good team
- 1:57:20Speaker 3: I've ever seen.
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: They're up there.
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: I agree, and I think they're gonna lose. I will
- 1:57:24Speaker 1: take the Lions in the upist.
- 1:57:27Speaker 2: I'll take the.
- 1:57:27Speaker 5: Lions just because I like them.
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: Do something with you. I think the Eagles are are
- 1:57:31Speaker 3: a snoozer every single week, every time they're on offense.
- 1:57:35Speaker 3: They it puts me to sleep. I'm taking the Lions.
- 1:57:39Speaker 1: I'm taking the Lions for the reason that you guys,
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: because I like them.
- 1:57:43Speaker 2: And I don't like who doesn't love Dan Campbell. It's
- 1:57:46Speaker 2: he the most likable coach in the NFL.
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: Seconds behind Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, Kyle, Oh, I guess yeah,
- 1:57:55Speaker 3: but like, but for.
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: You're the I'm taking the Lions. Monday Night on ESPN,
- 1:58:01Speaker 2: ESPN plus probably a bunch of other things too. Dallas
- 1:58:05Speaker 2: is at three five and one. They're at the Vegas
- 1:58:09Speaker 2: Raiders at two and seven.
- 1:58:10Speaker 1: Great that we get Dallas on another Monday night, Dallas,
- 1:58:15Speaker 1: Dallas by three and a half.
- 1:58:17Speaker 2: Dallas three and a half on the road.
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: Sure, I'll take Dallas.
- 1:58:22Speaker 5: Why not reluctantly I'll take Dallas too.
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: Yeah, me too.
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: You know what what I mean? You know, dire Straits.
- 1:58:35Speaker 2: Give me Vegas outright?
- 1:58:36Speaker 7: Wow?
- 1:58:36Speaker 2: Okay win? Yeah, I'll take the Cowboys.
- 1:58:39Speaker 3: I don't like when he does that. He does that
- 1:58:41Speaker 3: because he wants to go, like so he can get
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: a game on us. Just picked the team you think
- 1:58:48Speaker 3: it's gonna win.
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: I agree. The integrity of the contest would indicate.
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: Should really write a book on like game theory and strategy,
- 1:58:56Speaker 4: but it's not.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: I really think it could happen. I think Dallas's terrible defense,
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: and every once in a while in Vegas has a
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: good you know, brock Bauers catches like one hundred passes
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: for one hundred and fifty yards.
- 1:59:07Speaker 2: All right, now we go all the way back Tomorrow night,
- 1:59:12Speaker 2: Thursday eight fifteen, Prime and seven Jets at the eight
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: and two, Patriots by eleven and Patriots eleven and a
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: half eleven.
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: We spread of the week.
- 1:59:28Speaker 2: How long has it been since the Patriots were eleven
- 1:59:31Speaker 2: and a half Jacksonville?
- 1:59:33Speaker 3: Yeah, last game of the season and Matt Jones' rookie.
- 1:59:35Speaker 1: Year fifty burger. I'm gonna I'm gonna go with New England.
- 1:59:39Speaker 6: I just think they do enough to win, just slowly,
- 1:59:41Speaker 6: methodically pull away twenty four to six.
- 1:59:45Speaker 5: Good score, twenty eight to nine.
- 1:59:51Speaker 3: Knowine, I'm saying thirty one to ten New England Patriots.
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: I would love that. Mike Scorer is way off. I
- 2:00:05Speaker 1: have twenty three to six Patriots. I do not think
- 2:00:09Speaker 1: this game will be competitive.
- 2:00:13Speaker 2: Patriots lay the points obviously, forty seven to three. Wow.
- 2:00:22Speaker 3: I love that. I love the confidence.
- 2:00:23Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 2:00:24Speaker 2: Let's let's just bury these guys.
- 2:00:27Speaker 3: Let's you know, douse my point.
- 2:00:29Speaker 5: Do I have them covering?
- 2:00:30Speaker 2: Yes, let's bury the Jets. I'm not going to twenty
- 2:00:34Speaker 2: eight to nine, right, Yeah, it's not close. All right,
- 2:00:39Speaker 2: we are. It's two o'clock, how about that?
- 2:00:42Speaker 3: Okay?
- 2:00:43Speaker 2: All right, Tomorrow night be here. Pregame show starts at
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: se seven. Guys around there, Well, I have to do
- 2:00:54Speaker 2: another thing. At six seven o'clock, the pregame show starts,
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: then we have the game. Then we'll have the post
- 2:00:59Speaker 2: game shows. So there are no Patriots Unfiltered tomorrow because
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: it's a game day, but we will have the pregame
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: show with seven. Enjoy the game, Enjoy the win.
- 2:01:08Speaker 1: Have a good weekend for Francisco's predictions.
- 2:01:14Speaker 5: Hey this is Alex. Thanks for tuning into the show.
