Transcript
- 0:32Welcome inside the tree house. I'm Dan, O'Malley, along with Trey Trenholme
- 0:38and Rod Sharma, and I am ready to come out swinging, gentlemen.
- 0:44All right, all right. I don't know if I'm ready to come out
- 0:50swinging as hard as the crazy plain Lady did about a month or so ago,
- 0:57but nonetheless I'm ready to rock. So did you, Trey, did
- 1:03you Raj see the crazy plane lady from Dallas a number of weeks ago after
- 1:11she went viral? I did. I saw it. I never spent too
- 1:18much time on it other than no hot chick had losing her mind on a
- 1:23plane. And then I read where she was from Dallas. And I also
- 1:29someone said that Carrot Top was on that plane. It's just a side note.
- 1:33I don't know. I did see that as well, that he was
- 1:37able to verify that there was indeed an incident because he was on the plane,
- 1:42he said and verified. He's a lot. He's alive last I heard.
- 1:49Not only is Carrot Top alive, but he's doing him he's doing very
- 1:53well in Vegas. I don't think he's worth a I think excess of one
- 1:57hundred million dollars. Yeah, he's doing just fine. He he perfected the
- 2:00Las Vegas residency before any of the newer celebs decided to to do some shows
- 2:07there for weeks on end. And doesn't he own some comedy clubs too,
- 2:12Ruge, I don't. I don't know. Maybe he might be an investor
- 2:15in them. I'm assuming. Yeah, he's filthy rich, but man,
- 2:20he had bad work done. Last thought. I saw a picture of him.
- 2:23Yeah, yeah, yeah, So let's have a quick refresher of crazy
- 2:30plane lady. So this was I guess it wasn't about I think it was.
- 2:38Yeah, it was like a little over a month. It was like
- 2:39five five, six weeks ago. Because I remember we had just flown into
- 2:45Dallas from the Island because we were in town for like a month. And
- 2:50when we're waiting for our baggage at the baggage claim, people next to us
- 2:53are saying, hey, did you see this crazy lady on the plane?
- 2:55And I started looking over their shoulders at their phones and like, wow,
- 3:00okay, yeah, that that lady's having herself a day. I'm telling you,
- 3:15And there's a reason why I'm getting this. So everyone can neither believe
- 3:19it or they cannot believe it. I don't get too, but I am
- 3:23telling you right now, motherfol de doctor is not real. And you can
- 3:31set up a plane and you can don't or not. I'm not going to
- 3:38And there's a reason why I'm getting. Everyone can either believe it or they
- 3:44cannot believe it. I get, but I am telling you right now,
- 3:50mother, doctor is not real. I love that part right there because when
- 3:55she points to the back of the plane and says that m effort right there
- 3:59is not real. The whole plane, including the phone recording this on video,
- 4:03everyone's head shifts to the back of the plane, and the only thing
- 4:06back there is just a flight attendant going like yeah, full flight, Yeah.
- 4:13Yeah. The other thing I loved about this is, and I'm guessing
- 4:17someone would have to look into her resume, but did you notice that whenever
- 4:20she pointed, whether it was towards the back of the plane or sort of
- 4:26in general to the people near her that were sitting in seats, she did
- 4:30it with the flight attendant double fingers. Only is she telling you what's going
- 4:36down, what's happening in her mind, but she's also conveniently pointing out the
- 4:41emergency pathway lighting. And keep in mind, the closest emergency exit might be
- 4:46behind you next to the mfro. That's not real. I just think it's
- 4:55amazing. There is just a tone, there is an octave, a tone
- 4:58A crazy woman can read that. It's just it is so unique and it's
- 5:02like it's like an aphrodisiac for me. You know what, You're right,
- 5:10it's a mating call. I forgot to the rest of the normal male world.
- 5:17That is a terrifying note to hit. Yes, Ma, I'm yeah.
- 5:23Tray's walking around with an erection when they go supersonic, I'm like,
- 5:28I don't know if we need to up like a mere cat one. Tray's
- 5:34immediately wondering where the crazy poon is starts sniffing the air. Mhmm. The
- 5:45illustrious, the illustrious mating call of the crazy Poon. Is that what you
- 5:49called it? If you see who responds, it's the wily trend home.
- 5:57I watched that documentary. I'd watched that thing. God, yes, and
- 6:00I hope, I hope the guy that wouldn't just be one episode. You
- 6:02need to stretch that out for a long time. It'd be a different brand
- 6:08than act me though, I know what four letter company, Yeah, yeah,
- 6:23guaranteed to explode on site. Oh man, So the crazy Plain Lady,
- 6:35as she was labeled, has now released a statement. She is now,
- 6:43I guess she's, you know, sort of like h Trey. I'm
- 6:46gonna go with your mirror cat comparison. Like a mirror cat. She made
- 6:50herself aware to the entire world very suddenly, and then she disappeared back into
- 6:56the hole from whence she came. And now she's sticking her head back out
- 7:00saying, okay, now time to address some things with a public statement.
- 7:05And this is about two minutes. And notice here that she plays both sides,
- 7:15one of showing or trying to show that she has a sense of humor
- 7:19about it, but at the same time also trying to cover herself under the
- 7:25veil of mental health awareness. Oh okay, But also keep in mind when
- 7:35she recorded this on her phone, she made sure that she made sure that
- 7:41her makeup and everything was you know, impactible. Of course, Hi everyone,
- 7:46it's me Tiffany gomis probably better known as the Crazy Plain Lady, which
- 7:54is completely warranted. As you know, I have been unwilling to speak on
- 8:00the viral video, but I do finally feel that it's time. First and
- 8:05foremost, I want to take full accountability for my actions. They were completely
- 8:15unacceptable. Distressed or not, I should have been. I should have been
- 8:20in control of my emotions and that was not the case. My use of
- 8:28profanity was completely unnecessary, and I want to apologize to everyone on that plane,
- 8:35especially those that had children aboard. Can imagine going through that and trying
- 8:39to explain to your kid what in the world just happened. We all have
- 8:46our that moment, all right. I gotta pause this for a brief second
- 8:50because she touches on something there that we really need to just quickly address before
- 8:54moving on with the rest of her I guess apology. No parent can explain
- 8:58it any child on that plane, and no parent can explain to any other
- 9:03adult on that plane what the hell just happened. I think that would have
- 9:05been funny if Chican, you know, try to explain that to your kids,
- 9:09what's on that plane? Or and or what the redhead guy is?
- 9:13Uh? And it was a character you trying to explain your kids with carrot
- 9:18topic. I'm like that that's harder to explain the nerd melt out there.
- 9:22There was at least one dad on that plane. It looked at his son
- 9:24and went, see, Mom's not that bad. He just he just reached
- 9:31over and grabbed her hand and it's just I love you baby. Also,
- 9:37is it weird if you're a passenger on a plane and you see karrott Top
- 9:41walk on with carrying on luggage? Do you start do you start wondering?
- 9:43Yeah? Is he about to start? Is he about to start a show?
- 9:46Yeah? And you feel sorry for him at all because he obviously brought
- 9:50that upon himself. Any anytime you see karrot Top with the suitcase, like,
- 9:56you're just gonna assume, Yeah, maybe maybe this all was actually a
- 10:01carrot top bit. So he took he brought his carrying on luggage, and
- 10:09then he deployed his carrying on crazy lady that he deployed onto the plane.
- 10:13He brought, he brought. He brought a lady on hallucinogens. It's carrot
- 10:20topping, a lady on mushrooms? Is that's like your flight? Like buy
- 10:24a lottery ticket when you get off that plane? I mean, And if
- 10:28she was folded into that carrying on suitcase, I think Trey just found another
- 10:31layer of attractiveness in her portable crazy poon Yeah, flexible. You're listening to
- 10:46the Treehouse. Visit us online that treehouse on air dot com. Time now
- 11:01to get Rodney Anderson into the Treehouses phone number nine seven two eight fifty two
- 11:07hundred. That's nine seven two eight fifty two hundred. The website Rodney Anderson
- 11:11dot com. I've been doing. I've been a good boy, Rodney.
- 11:13I've been watching the news a lot, looking at it from a financial standpoint
- 11:16and wondering how is this affecting Rodney today. So I saw a survey recently
- 11:20it's said Americans say it's a bad time to buy a house. So two
- 11:26part question for you. Number one, is that true in North Texas?
- 11:28And two what do you think that's national news? Dan, everybody's still moving
- 11:33to North Texas. Values are continuing to go up. There's a huge housing
- 11:39shortage in the DFW area. So one thing I would tell people go out
- 11:43and buy houses because you're gonna build equity in those houses. You're going to
- 11:46be able to refinance your mortgage down the road when rates do come down.
- 11:52You're going to have an opportunity that when you rent, you don't get those
- 11:54opportunities. You don't get tax breaks potentially for owning a home. You make
- 12:00the landlord rich, and a lot of people are out there they're scared.
- 12:03Don't be scared in this market. Use a great real churm, use a
- 12:07great lender, and make sure you know the insides and out when it comes
- 12:11to buying a house. Get pre approved up front, know the type of
- 12:15loan, Know what your payments are going to be, Know how much money
- 12:18you're going to meet need. We just wrap all that in a bow and
- 12:22we try to make home buying this successful for you as you want it to
- 12:26be, as successful as it can be and as accessible as it can possibly
- 12:31be. When you call Rodney and his team at nine seven two nine eight
- 12:33five fifty two hundred, I know this from my personal experience because Rodney has
- 12:37done my mortgages nine seven two nine eight five fifty two hundred or Rodney Anderson
- 12:43dot com and if I'm lending is an equal housing lender A three thousand village
- 12:46Parkway Steite four hundred hild Village, Texas and mlis two three two nine.
- 12:50Business online at Treehouse OnAir dot com. You're in the Treehouse Business Online a
- 13:00Treehouse OnAir dot com. This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you by
- 13:09cook DFW Roofing and Restoration their phone number eight three three cook DFW, the
- 13:16website cook dfw dot com. Give them a call for that free roof inspection.
- 13:24If only cook DFW could have crazy inspections on people, not only would
- 13:31it save the entire world a lot of time, Tray could get off bumble
- 13:37and just use the crazy inspections. His face just then rogs his eyes and
- 13:43his eye Oh my god. Yes, yeah, I mean I think about
- 13:46all all the possibilities of what could have been. There's just like, it's
- 13:50a crazy inspection. Uh yeah, that'd be uh yeah. Your face did
- 13:58kind of light up, and it was very sweet to see. Sweet,
- 14:01but also a little a little terrifying because now I know what what Tray's face
- 14:05looks like when he sees when he sees a chick that he's really into it.
- 14:07Oh yeah. Yeah. The only problem is I I do. I
- 14:13am at least self aware enough to realize I probably would not pass the crazy
- 14:16test. No, no, no, no, I'm a firm believer in
- 14:20crazy loves crazy yeah yeah yeah yeah, And you kind of have to to
- 14:26make it work because there has to be some level of mutual understanding there.
- 14:31Yeah, but I mean I and there was one that was crazy, like
- 14:37would you like she? I think it was she was fifty one fifty ones
- 14:41like that kind of crazy. Uh. And and but she she was very
- 14:46It was is dedicated to me the word or upset. I don't know which
- 14:50one. It was. Well to me, it's a fine line between dedicated
- 14:56and obsessed. Yeah, she was very. Yeah, she was that girl.
- 15:00She was the throw things at your girl. Oh yeah, because she
- 15:03loves you so much? Is she saying it as she's throwing the thing at
- 15:09you? Oh I love you so much, I'm going to hurle this brick
- 15:16at your face. Basically kind of on point. It was. It was
- 15:20back in the day. It was the base of a cordless phone. Oh
- 15:24yeah, that hurt. No, I dodged it. It was pretty solid.
- 15:30It was a pretty solid dodge. I mean those things were heavy back
- 15:33then. That's like a five pound base and it's yeah. So now I'm
- 15:37curious if since you were able to dodge a cordless phone base being hurled at
- 15:43you out of love? Out of love? Was this was this before the
- 15:50matrix came out, Because you're saying it's a cordless phone base, so the
- 15:54time stamp on this. I'm curious, was this before the Matrix came out
- 15:58or after before or see that? That to me makes it even more impressive
- 16:03because you then learned how to dodge something being thrown at you without having seen
- 16:08Keanu Reeves do it first in the Matrix. Yes, and I wouldn't say
- 16:11mine was a skillful More is of a falling out of its way. I
- 16:15mean, if you want to call that dodge, but I just kind of
- 16:18hurled myself out of the direction that it was coming. Uh, and it's
- 16:22successfully just landed on the carpeted floor, So no harm to me and or
- 16:29the portless phone base for those for those listening and watching at home, Well
- 16:34that was also back when things were built to last. Yeah, that's true.
- 16:40And again and speaking of fine lines, things back then being built to
- 16:44last also meant and here's the fine line, means being built to kill.
- 16:49Yes, yeah, but so I understand, like the reason I wasn't crazy,
- 16:57so I understand the behavior, the love, the love language that she
- 17:04used. I think her love language was violence, raj. Yes, it
- 17:08was, it very much was. But speaking of crazy and love, let's
- 17:15go back. Let's go back to Tiffany Gomez the Crazy Plane Lady, as
- 17:19she releases her I don't know if it's an if it's an apology, if
- 17:26it's just a statement. Is it an acknowledgement of I haven't heard of sorry
- 17:30yet. I haven't either, and I'm I'm listening for one she did.
- 17:36She did say one that she was She was a profanity. She was sorry
- 17:41to the parents of children on the plane for the profanity. Gotcha, there
- 17:45is that? So she's she's sorry that she used some bad words. Yes,
- 17:49okay, let's see if she's sorry about anything else. We all have
- 17:56her bad moments, some far worse than others, and mine happened to be
- 18:03caught on camera for the whole world to see multiple times. Sorry, He's
- 18:11trying not to sound like many mouths right now. It's very troubling to me
- 18:21the smile on Trey's face, because I feel like the closer she also gets
- 18:26to crying, the more turned on he gets. I just I feel like
- 18:30obi wan, I'm just telling her, let let the crazy flow through you
- 18:37and into your pants. Insane, you are all right. Here we go,
- 18:48Tiffany slash Trey's future. Oh yeah, significant other. Well, it
- 19:00has been really comical for everyone, and I have highly enjoyed so many of
- 19:06the means. On the flip side, it is very invasive and unkind,
- 19:15and I don't know what I would do without the love and support of my
- 19:18friends and family, And they are loyal to assault, and I don't know
- 19:22what I did to deserve them scared them. The reason she doesn't know what
- 19:32she did is because I imagine when she hits a certain level of crazy,
- 19:36she just blinds out. Yeah, and that's and that's when whatever other entity
- 19:40that is living inside of her takes control. Yeah. I hope that I
- 19:48can use this experience and do a little bit of good in the world,
- 19:52and that is what I intend to do. I hope that you guys can
- 19:59accept my APO and I can get chance to move on with my life.
- 20:03So the other thing I find and then at the end it throws up some
- 20:08text joined me on my journey of promoting positive mental health and standing up against
- 20:14cyber bullying. So this is where she she Strata's defense, and she wants
- 20:18it both ways. On one hand, she's saying, I got a good
- 20:19sense of humor about this. I appreciated the memes, thought a lot of
- 20:23them are really funny, and then she then even says herself on the flip
- 20:26side, though this is really hard and blah blah blah blah blah. So
- 20:29it's like, are you a victim of cyber bullying yea? Or do you
- 20:33think what happened is funny without playing both sides? You know. But she's
- 20:40also gonna she's gonna heavily monetize off this in some way. That's why.
- 20:44Yeah, I mean, because I'm pretty sure before this she didn't have a
- 20:47website. She's got a website now that's where I just played her thing off
- 20:49of. She's also got a YouTube channel and all these different things. So
- 20:56yeah, she's got planned and now I can't faulter for it because I checked
- 21:00it, I think yesterday on Twitter she's got something like seventy thousand followers already
- 21:04and the only post she has is this video. Yeah, so she is
- 21:11gonna try to monetize this in some way. And that's the other thing.
- 21:14The other problem I have with this type of situation, when you're trying to
- 21:17say I'm sorry for being very publicly horrible, you say you want to do
- 21:25take take a bad situation and get something good out of it. Go pick
- 21:29up trash. Yeah, go feed the homeless. Go, you know,
- 21:33go volunteer somewhere, you know, doing something as opposed to doing something where
- 21:38it has to be you know, with the spotlight on you. You know
- 21:41what I mean. Yeah, she said she wants to That was my first
- 21:47thought when she said, you know, she wants to do a little good,
- 21:49And I was like, wow, Trey, you should change your last
- 21:52name to a little good. I think I think it's filing the paper work
- 22:00right now with the I just if I'm a pharmaceutical company with an anti depressant,
- 22:06you know, anti I am. I've got a camera crew going to
- 22:10her to shoot the commercial. Yeah, you know, you show that video
- 22:14and then you show the happy sunshine of her walking on a plane with you
- 22:17know, that is actually brilliant, Trey. That's one of those where you
- 22:22need some sort of ad agency that can be very nimble, turn on a
- 22:26dime and take advantage of a situation like this, because you're right, this
- 22:30is one of those times where one of the pharmaceutical companies needs to say that's
- 22:33our new spokesperson, yeah, or or Southwest want to get away like that's
- 22:40that's an easy like that's that's that's an easy one right there. But the
- 22:47first thing or another another easy tie in would be the Snickers campaign. Yeah,
- 22:52yeah, you're not You're not you when you're hungry, but you are
- 22:57you when you're crazy. But the other explanation that she released about what she
- 23:06meant by that guy wasn't or that person's not. There is something to do
- 23:11with earbuds, like her family took her earbuds or somebody took her earbuds away.
- 23:15Was it carrot Top? Yea, it will be. Did he take
- 23:19her earbuds and throw him in his suitcase? And she might have maybe she
- 23:26just saw carrot Top and didn't know who it was and she thought, you
- 23:29know, it's like a ginger crow magnut man, and thought, you know,
- 23:32she should be in a museum, not not on the plane. Is
- 23:34there's a ghoul on her flight? Maybe she thought, maybe she thought there's
- 23:40no reason carrot Tops should have been there. And then I think I think
- 23:44you had it with Ghoul Raj because in the part of the video where she
- 23:48turns and she goes or she screaming to the back of the plane that mfr
- 23:52right, there's not real. And the entire plane. All their heads turned
- 23:56to the back of the plane and no one's there. Maybe it's because she
- 24:00was talking about karat top and he went gool and disappeared. Yeah, there
- 24:04he goes. We may have just cracked the case. Boys, I think
- 24:11I think we have. Now we just need to find a lithium salesman and
- 24:15or an antipsychotic rep. I'm sure we can get ahold of one of those,
- 24:19uh to to locate where they're sending the camera crew. Uh So,
- 24:25because she's here now, she's here in Dallas. So so you have to
- 24:30you have to assume through these channels we can we can find out who she
- 24:34is and and possibly even set up a blind date for our mister Trenholme over
- 24:41there, or maybe she'll set up an only fans. Oh well, we
- 24:49know who her first subscriber is going to be. Visit us online a treehouse
- 25:03OnAir dot com. Let's get Daniel Cook into the treehouse now from Cook DFW
- 25:18Roofing and Restoration at the phone number eight three three Cook DFW the website Cook
- 25:23dfw dot com. So, Daniel, my question for you today is why
- 25:27is it so important to call cook DFW the same time as someone calls their
- 25:33insurance company if they have roof damage after a storm. Yea, and that's
- 25:36a great question. You know, a lot of a lot of homeowners don't
- 25:37know to do that. But your contractor needs to be on site walking around
- 25:42with the insurance company when they're there, looking at that damage and verifying that
- 25:47they're seeing everything they should. Most recently, we had a client that we
- 25:51had a substantially large claim here in Allen, but we walked around in the
- 25:55AC on This house had had received several hits and it receives the hits that
- 26:00were so severe that it damaged the condenser unit on the outside of the house,
- 26:04and that unit happened to be too old to repair, and so we
- 26:10were able to get this homeowner a brand new AC unit on the outside of
- 26:12their house because it sustained too much damage for repair. Most contractors do not
- 26:18do those kind of things. They just kind of go buy the insurance paperwork
- 26:22and if it happens, great, and if it doesn't, it does not.
- 26:26So that's the biggest difference. We can use a contractor that has been
- 26:29doing this for a while. This is the difference, and this is what
- 26:32we do for our clients. So the one thing Daniel's not saying is when
- 26:34he says competent contractor is is to call him. That's the level of expertise
- 26:40that they walk around with every single day, and you, as one of
- 26:42their customers, can reap that reward. So give them a call. They'll
- 26:47come by check that roof for free, and also they're going to check around
- 26:51the property as well and help you out in any way. They can eight
- 26:53three three cook DFW eight three three cook DFW for that free roof inspection and
- 26:59of course cookedfw dot com us online that treehouse fler dot com. Time now
- 27:07to welcome Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the Treehouse their phone number two one four
- 27:11three sixty eight thirty eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com.
- 27:15You'll know it when you see it because it's a bunch of happy plumbers
- 27:18on the website along with a cute little rubber ducky and her dog. So
- 27:22it's a it's a wonderful business that we love partnering with here in the treehouse.
- 27:26And you know, the good thing Jacqueline is, you know, is
- 27:30running this business that some bad things happen to some good people and maybe they
- 27:33need major work done, and most of us don't have cash ready to throw
- 27:37down for thousands of dollars. But you have options. We do have options,
- 27:41options of plenty. I'd also like to add no stock photos on my
- 27:45website. Every man you see in a uniform is one of my team members,
- 27:48and that to me is very refreshing because I hate stock photography. But
- 27:52to that point, also on my website, at the very bottom, next
- 27:56to the rubber ducky is a little button that you can click on for financing.
- 28:00We do have options that are as short as six months all the way
- 28:07to four or five years. Because not everyone is made of money, some
- 28:10options are zero percent interest, which to me is wildly exciting because why pay
- 28:15more if you don't have to. To that point, I also don't think
- 28:18there's a minimum. So let's talk about things that are surprisingly expensive. It
- 28:22can be surprisingly expensive to get a brand new toilet. Let's say that you've
- 28:27got a rowdy friend at the house and they just sit down too hard and
- 28:30they crack the whole thing. You can't glue it back together. You need
- 28:33a whole new one. So let's get you a new one, and they
- 28:37can be surprisingly expensive. So to that point, if you can't afford three
- 28:41fifty, finance three fifty. I mean, I don't care. That's one
- 28:45hundred percent up to you and a zero percent interest. Why not spread those
- 28:48payments out? And I'm not saying it's three fifty to get a toilet furnished
- 28:52and installed. But I'm just given ballparks. Everybody's situation is different. Toilets
- 28:56cost different price tags depending on brand, in height, et cetera, et
- 29:00cetera. But I can quote you for free, but finance it if you
- 29:04if you've don't got it. I've thought about it for many things. I
- 29:07financed the sofa that I'm sitting on because I didn't want to give Nebraska Furniture
- 29:11Mark two thousand dollars all at once. I was like, that's my money.
- 29:14I worked very hard for that zero percent interest though that's the kicker.
- 29:17Then. This is one of the many reasons we love Brooks Plumbing here in
- 29:19the Treehouse. Great business acumen, know what they're doing, you can trust
- 29:23them in your home the same way that I do in mine, and a
- 29:27great sense of humor about it as well. Kind of have to being in
- 29:30the plumbing industry give him a call two one four three six eight thirty eight
- 29:33thirty eight or Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. You're listening to the Treehouse visitors
- 29:41online at Treehouse on Air dot com. This segment of the Treehouse is brought
- 29:48to you by our dear dear friends at Brooks Plumbing the phone number two one
- 29:55four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight, the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot
- 30:00com. That is Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Big thank you would get
- 30:07into them for helping with that leaking pipe I had in Dallas. Had that
- 30:11fixed under thirty six hours. That's incredible. And Oliver the the plumber that
- 30:18was tasked with the with the job of fixing my pipe, he did so
- 30:23very very lovingly. And him he was gentle. He was. Let's see
- 30:33he later as he crawled into the dark spaces to lay the house under my
- 30:37house, not under to lay his pipe. No, no, no,
- 30:44to fix, to fix actually too, to give me a new pipe,
- 30:51to give me a sturdier, more durable pipe, more environmentally friendly pipe.
- 30:57Mm hmm yeah, sure, yeah, I'll go with that. A pipe
- 31:03for the twenty twenty it gave you a green pipe. It was white tray.
- 31:11There wasn't enough space under the house for anything else. All right,
- 31:18man, you don't, you don't. You don't get the black one.
- 31:26Sometimes you can even make the obvious punch lines land. All right, again,
- 31:32thank you to our friends at Brooks Plumbing. So, Roger, I
- 31:34have a question for you. And I don't mean this to be insulting in
- 31:38any way, but I mean, if I'm being honest, you're you're my
- 31:41You're you're my best Indian friend. So I'm going to try to exploit that
- 31:45relationship and your indian ness. Yes, so, uh, for lunch earlier,
- 31:55actually it was more like a like a late snack. We had gotten
- 31:57some green curry chicken salad from the store. Gotcha, okay, And that
- 32:05was like two hours ago, and I'm still burping curry? Is that?
- 32:12Is that a white person thing with curry? And you just get used to
- 32:15it after a while because and also when when did the curry burps go away?
- 32:22It's usually so green curry that you had is tie so that's a that's
- 32:27a tiber. But the curry flavoring that's in there still what you're burping up
- 32:30right? Uh? They usually you usually have a yogurt sauce that you can
- 32:35put on. That's what prevents the burbage. So I so I basically I
- 32:39need a probiotic condiment, yes, or some milk, we'll do the same
- 32:45thing. And also if there's a spice level that's too much, that'll cut
- 32:49that as well, so the indigestion doesn't happen. So if you go when
- 32:52you have Indian curry, they serve it with a yogurt sauce, right,
- 32:58Yeah, So that's what that's and that's when that stops. Like I just
- 33:00had h and and and and you can see how brave I am when we
- 33:06when we get into I just had Indian food and I had chicken curry and
- 33:09rice and potatoes and uh what was the other stuff that I had was right
- 33:15there? Oh and and some non and so it's yeah, just a whole
- 33:17little a little Yeah you have an apartment, Yeah, a little a little
- 33:22box of Indian food that I went to God, which if you, uh,
- 33:28you know know what what happened to me the other day, you would
- 33:31go, man, that is impressive that you would trust your people's food enough
- 33:37to do this happen to the other day. So I was in Austin,
- 33:40and I was looking I was really looking forward to there's some great Indian places
- 33:45there, and I was like, let me find an Indian place I haven't
- 33:47been to in Austin, and there's a place. You can look it up
- 33:52and I'll tell you. I don't know if we can do it on this
- 33:53because I don't know. I don't want I don't want them to get in
- 33:55trouble or people think that that that happens all the time. Well just don't
- 34:00use their name. But it's an incredible spot. Now, nobody else in
- 34:04the entire group almost everybody ate it. Nobody else got sick. I just
- 34:07don't think it worked with me. So then I didn't know what else to
- 34:10call it but food poisoning. And I'm like, oh, but I need
- 34:14to do this like more now and often, and every fifteen to twenty minutes
- 34:19or so until there was nothing in my stomach. And then I was just
- 34:23dry heaving. Oh I hate dry heaving, and it like violently, like
- 34:29to the point where like I was waiting for somebody to knock on my door
- 34:31like are you dying? Like what is happening? Would have said yes,
- 34:36yes, stand help, and then my body went Oh well, if you're
- 34:38tired of throwing up you almost got a spit, take out a tray and
- 34:46he hasn't swallowed yet, you still might get it. Keep pushing. Uh
- 34:51no, no. My body was like, hey, we've got options here,
- 34:52buddy. So it's only one. But look, we've only we've only
- 34:57been We've only been Yeah, we've only been using the one orifice. Yeah,
- 35:01this whole time, we will and you see, And I was angry
- 35:05and I was cussing, and I'm like dry heaving, and the sickness is
- 35:08now ready to diversify, and you know, and my body went, you
- 35:12know what, we have taken a lot of toll on the upper part of
- 35:15your body. Let's now do it to the lower part. And then that's
- 35:19when that started. So I was like, I can't and I didn't.
- 35:23I don't think I went to sleep until seven amish from landing here and now's
- 35:30at ten. So did were you sphinxing it? Yeah? Yeah? Do
- 35:37you know what this sphinxing is? The no explain my birth? I just
- 35:42thought that would be your ver Like you want to say diarrhea on the radio?
- 35:45What do you mean? Oh? No, no, no, I
- 35:46remember this from the in the bathroom thing. No I was not. Are
- 35:51you sure so I remember it? No, No, I would not.
- 35:53First of all, I remember that, and I remember thinking that can't be
- 35:58a real thing, and it and then you get some weird rest stop Indian
- 36:01food and all of a sudden your mind has changed. No, I just
- 36:07all right, what is sphinxing it? So? Sphinxing it is something that
- 36:10happened to me a handful of years ago. We talked about it on the
- 36:15radio, and apparently it hit home for many people because they didn't have a
- 36:22term for what they experienced. They didn't have they didn't have a something to
- 36:30point to is to say, this is what happened to me. So immediately
- 36:32other people that has happened to would understand. So sphinxing it. I got
- 36:37food poisoning a handful of years ago. And at a certain point, when
- 36:43you're kneeling in front of the commode throwing up, then you realize, oh,
- 36:49now a shift is starting to happen, and you know the lower half
- 36:53is now going to be engaged as well. And with me it was going
- 36:59to be a dual attack on the top and one on the bottom. So
- 37:04then yeah, so now you've got choices. Do you maintain your kneeling position
- 37:09in front of the commode, throwing up into the commode and then just spraying
- 37:15excrement on the floor behind you, or do you switch? Because no one's
- 37:20like, if you think about it, which would I rather clean up?
- 37:22You know, I would rather clean up the poop or the vomit. Most
- 37:25people, I think would rather pick up the vomit because it doesn't smell nearly
- 37:29as bad. So you can you can switch. You sit on the toilet
- 37:32and then you throw up on the floor. Or yep, there's the third
- 37:37option, and this is where you hit pay dirt. First thing you need,
- 37:42ideally is a tub, but a standing shower will suffice. You get
- 37:47in that tub and you look like the sphinx from Egypt. So that way,
- 37:53whatever comes out the front and the back remains contained in the tub and
- 38:00then rinsed away with with with no with no shame for what has just happened.
- 38:06Well, I don't know about no shame. I mean, I mean
- 38:07there's there's there's there's there's there's you were just but nobody know that you're doing
- 38:21it. No, you know that you're doing it. But when that thing
- 38:23happens, you feel like you want to bond with someone over you want to
- 38:28tell the story because it's it's it's it's a traumatic event. And if you
- 38:34can have a term to point to, now you have that shared experience without
- 38:37necessarily having to go into the gory details. It's just an automatic understanding.
- 38:42And look the vomit, the poop and the inevitable p that's kind of fly
- 38:46out at the same time when you're sphinxing it in the tub. The ideally
- 38:52it will all go down the drain, but the shame tray that you mentioned,
- 38:55some things won't go down a drain. No. When you when when
- 39:00you have those moments, you you met up and you look at yourself in
- 39:04the mirror and you go, even we don't talk about this, we will
- 39:10never tell a soul about this. No I did. I did not.
- 39:15My body was like, hey man, you seem to have had enough of
- 39:17this, because again I don't. I was. I was like I would
- 39:22Dear God and puke in the trash can that by the side of my bed,
- 39:24and I'm like, Dear God, this has got to stop. And
- 39:28they went, oh, okay, but you didn't say what has to stop?
- 39:30Yeah, that's true, and so your body just keeps doing it.
- 39:34The other the other wrinkle on on on on the sphinx position or the or
- 39:38the sphinx. Uh scenario is and this is what happened to me. I'm
- 39:45not saying it happens to everybody who does the physical sphinx. There's also the
- 39:47emotional sphinx while doing the physical sphinx, when you're in the tub and things
- 39:52are coming out of every hole that you've got and so far praying to your
- 40:00God has not worked. The convenience of the of the of the sphinx type
- 40:07religion is you have a multitude of gods you can ask for help. Yeah.
- 40:13So that's the other side of the sphinxing it is you start going through
- 40:15your mind. Okay, did like the doghead person is just the one that's
- 40:20in control of vomit? What about the bird headed lady? Can she help
- 40:24me with this? I'm gonna pray to all of them. No. I
- 40:28I went to the standard uh what I would imagine the Judaeo Christian gut,
- 40:35even though it was Indian food, and I was like, God, this
- 40:37has got a spout, and it was like my prayers were answered for the
- 40:40upper half of my body. And then then my God's kicked in like you
- 40:45didn't mention any of us, buddy, so healed up top punished down below.
- 41:00That's exactly I think that's how the whole thing works, oh man.
