The Vancouver Whitecaps just pulled off a savvy move, signing 18-year-old midfielder Emrick Fotsing through 2030 with an option for 2031. Instead of rushing him into MLS, they’re loaning him back to Vancouver FC for the rest of the Canadian Premier League season before he officially joins the first team in 2027.
