- 0:56It's been it's been out for a while.
- 0:57But yeah, I just got making way for the new line and merge
- 1:00coming out very very soon from yours.
- 1:02Truly. Anyway guys before we get into
- 1:04the video. I just like to answer some
- 1:06questions. I've been asked over on
- 1:07Instagram and if you'd like me to answer your question on a
- 1:10video just like this head over to Ram follow me and put the
- 1:12notifications on so you don't miss out want to ask you to ask
- 1:15me questions and you might be featured in the video just like
- 1:17this. Okay, Elijah and score.
- 1:20Some G said did you go to a mainstream school?
- 1:23And yes, I did Elijah. I went to a mainstream high
- 1:28school and primary school and it was very difficult, you know,
- 1:32but I think I learned from it. I think that there was like
- 1:34things that could have been better, but I think I learned a
- 1:36lot from it. Okay.
- 1:37Next question here is from Uke's in Lee for five six and they
- 1:41said I just want to ask if every person on the Spectrum
- 1:44experiences meltdowns great question.
- 1:46Actually, the only people I know who have an Autism Spectrum
- 1:49condition have experienced a meltdown so I can only go off
- 1:52experience of what I know so currently all I know yes, but I
- 1:56don't know I can't speak for every person on the Spectrum.
- 1:58Okay. The next question here is from
- 1:59tasselled devil, and they said what do you find is the most
- 2:03frustrating thing that people do when they know you have autism.
- 2:06I think the most frustrating thing that people do to me
- 2:08personally is they say, oh you don't look artist.
- 2:11Because like what like you supposed to have a look at
- 2:13orange face or something, you know, you're supposed to look
- 2:15different way. If you've have an awesome
- 2:17special conditions bizarre. Okay guys, so I actually just
- 2:21wanted to show you guys just a big shout out to this company
- 2:24called autism vs. Aliens.
- 2:27They sent me this little care package in the mail.
- 2:28So autism vs. Aliens keychain, and they also
- 2:31got this lovely letter from them, which is really cool Orton
- 2:35vs. Aliens and what it is is There's
- 2:38a comic book company called free King comics and they've
- 2:42Announced the release of this comic book, which is the autism
- 2:44vs. Aliens comic book.
- 2:46It's really cool. Actually.
- 2:47It's a all done by people on the Spectrum.
- 2:49I'm guessing written by Daniel wilfer and Jamie a idol
- 2:55illustrated by Daniel Walther to so as you can see that just go
- 2:59through all the yeah. It's just a cool comic book
- 3:02about like somebody on the Spectrum vs.
- 3:06Aliens. It's basically self-explanatory.
- 3:09It's kind of cool. So I will leave a link for this
- 3:11inscription. Below if I can find a link and
- 3:14you can check out yourself. It might be really cool because
- 3:17you know, I don't know. I just I was really nice and
- 3:19send me the so thank you so much for sending me this guy's and if
- 3:21anybody wants to send me anything hit me up on Instagram
- 3:24in the DMS. And yeah, you know address.
- 3:26Okay guys. So autism burnouts, right?
- 3:29This is what you need to know to prevent one and I've made a list
- 3:31of like five top tips here that I absolutely just love.
- 3:36Okay. Here we go.
- 3:37So the first one is taking regular breaks now taking
- 3:41regular breaks. Is quite an interesting one
- 3:42people think that like, you know people quite solid in the fact
- 3:46that they think like no I have my schedule my routine and I'm
- 3:48going to stick to my routine and that's going to be fine.
- 3:50But the problem with routine is that if you don't put in if you
- 3:54don't schedule in break time into your routine, then you're
- 3:57leaving yourself wide open to have no respite from your busy
- 4:00working environments. So say you're in work and you
- 4:03just work all day and then you come home and you do more work
- 4:05at home because you study in class or something and you go to
- 4:07sleep when you wake up really early to work out and then you
- 4:09do some more studying and then you go to work.
- 4:10There's no respite that. Is no there's no time for taking
- 4:13regular breaks because what regular breaks does is it almost
- 4:16like gives your brain a reset says the brain okay hit reset
- 4:19chill out start again and it will avoid burnout and autism
- 4:23burnout can be something that will be an accumulation of
- 4:28things that you are doing and it gets to a point where you just
- 4:30have kick back and you can't take no more because you've
- 4:32taken on too much stuff and then you just burn out and then you
- 4:34just completely unmotivated. It has the exact opposite effect
- 4:37of the things that caused it. So to me regular breaks is Great
- 4:42one, you know, sometimes I actually now I never did because
- 4:45I was always so close to burning out.
- 4:46But my friend Jess from how to ADHD.
- 4:49I was doing a video with her in Boston Massachusetts this year
- 4:52and she said she said everybody who's watching the video.
- 4:54I'll try and Link it somewhere in the caliber over in
- 4:57description. She said hey, you know, do you
- 4:58think Daniel should take breaks and I was like, yeah.
- 5:00So now I try to put in like a Friday afternoon to into breaks
- 5:04or sometimes. I'll take my my son swimming or
- 5:07like, you know, sometimes during the week will take breaks and I
- 5:10definitely have Saturday and Sunday off because cuz you know,
- 5:12let's face it, you know do need some time to take breaks and I
- 5:14find this amazing. It's actually help reduce a lot
- 5:16my burnout quite considerably to be totally honest with you.
- 5:20Okay. Number two quite an interesting
- 5:22one. Actually.
- 5:22This is knowing your limits people don't actually know their
- 5:25limits people just you know, try to take on as much, you know,
- 5:32take a look try and take them as much as possible.
- 5:34They'll be like somebody says hey, can you do this and you go?
- 5:35Yeah. Okay.
- 5:36I'll add that to my to do this and somebody else says can you
- 5:38do this thing called you have course and then I've found I've
- 5:40fallen file to this alone. Times but someone says thank you
- 5:43disagree. I'm going to do it now and it'll
- 5:44be like, okay, you got a meeting of all I can do the meeting and
- 5:46okay and you got to take me here for like six and like okay, I
- 5:48can do that and it's like, oh, you've also got to get these two
- 5:50videos done and that book written a little blog post and
- 5:52I'm like, oh my goodness taking on too much.
- 5:55So I don't know I live it now. I was been working with a
- 5:58therapist and I have my limits my limits are very interesting
- 6:02only two projects at any one time and don't be stupid because
- 6:06I said just take on about four or five major projects any one
- 6:09time and I'd look at them and think oh my God is a mammoth.
- 6:11Tasks and my ever going to be able to complete these and I'm
- 6:15like, okay, I've done to our signal too much stuff.
- 6:18And what happens is when you take on too many things when you
- 6:20don't have any limit set in place, what happens is you then
- 6:23let people down by letting people down you let yourself
- 6:26down and this could eventually cause a burn out because either
- 6:29the stressful and people down all the stressful not be able to
- 6:31complete the tasks all the stress of having too many tasks
- 6:34on like as in know your limit, you know, if you don't have any
- 6:38kind of boundaries there it's going to just be catastrophic
- 6:41and your death We're going to have a burn off from that.
- 6:43And that's one of the things you know, you want to try and
- 6:45prevent burnout all these things are just to prevent everybody,
- 6:50you know taking their life as if it's thing.
- 6:53It doesn't mean anything, you know, like it doesn't mean
- 6:56anything. It's definitely interesting.
- 6:57You have to take care of yourself all the time.
- 7:00And sometimes we forget we all forget to take care of ourselves
- 7:02because we don't really think how much meaning these things
- 7:04have because it's not in our jurisdiction to think.
- 7:07Oh, yeah. I'm going to take regular
- 7:09breaks. So this is why this video is
- 7:10important. Oh guys this Is just a simple
- 7:12question as well. If you haven't already.
- 7:15I've got a master class coping Secrets Master Class.
- 7:18Basically, I didn't Master Class A free webinar on three of my
- 7:21top-secret coping skills for coping with a life how you can
- 7:24like really change the way you live your life with your trait
- 7:28of autism and stuff and it's really interesting and there's
- 7:31only limited space available on the master class, but you can
- 7:33register down below. I know you guys are going to be
- 7:35very excited to register on to that and I'm excited to take the
- 7:38webinar class. So yeah just go below there is a
- 7:40link there for Registering so as it says register now to click on
- 7:44that link register and you will be on that webinar completely
- 7:47free and super awesome. So please go ahead and check
- 7:49that out right now. Okay.
- 7:50So number three is quite an interesting one as well.
- 7:52This one is don't overdo it. So many people try and do too
- 7:57much or trying to prove themselves.
- 7:58Like I'm going to push myself to prove myself, you know, they'll
- 8:02be like I'm gonna you know, I'll push myself to work and I'll
- 8:05push myself to work later hours longer days, you know, just
- 8:08because I can prove it. I can prove people wrong and do
- 8:09it doesn't work. You're not proving anything.
- 8:11Anything all you're really doing is proving that by putting too
- 8:15much on your plate. You are going to burn out this
- 8:17happens all the time. I still all the time thinking
- 8:19like I was just hard as ever and be like, yeah.
- 8:21I'm just going to just push past it and do it you going to do all
- 8:24the stuff and I'll just work late and it just didn't work.
- 8:26I ended up actually has a negative effect on your mental
- 8:29health and it has a negative effect on you and it causes
- 8:31burnouts and and maybe probably eventually a meltdown and then
- 8:34you have this horrible kind of like lingering like just
- 8:38horrible anxiety stress depression ball that you fall
- 8:40into. It's not a good thing.
- 8:41Okay, so don't overdo it. Just chill just take it easy
- 8:45don't you know your limits and don't overdo it, you know do
- 8:48what you can do what you can physically do do that.
- 8:51Don't overdo it people always have this mindset.
- 8:53Like if you don't push yourself, you know, you just you're an
- 8:55idiot and you're not doing your best and all the stuff.
- 8:57Okay, by all means you can push yourself to your limit, but you
- 9:00know your limit and I said, it's the last one you have to know
- 9:02your limit. Don't overdo it.
- 9:04It's very very important. And I feel like people really
- 9:07need to just hate on. Listen.
- 9:09It's me down and telling you don't overdo it.
- 9:11It's okay. You're doing fantastic as it is.
- 9:13I believe in you. Well guys, if you haven't
- 9:15already, please like this video because like equals love and
- 9:19let's share some love. If you like this video indicates
- 9:21to me that you'd like to see more of this type of videos.
- 9:23And if you're enjoying it also show share that left give it a
- 9:26like. Okay guys number four, very
- 9:29important one. This is so important.
- 9:31You need to put down anything else that you're playing with
- 9:33are looking at right now and listen to me.
- 9:35Okay, this is reach out. If you're struggling too many
- 9:39people struggle and struggle alone.
- 9:42There's an old saying like a problem shared is a problem
- 9:45halved and it absolutely is so when people are struggling in
- 9:49work in life in romantic relationships and friendships
- 9:53any type of environment where you find yourself struggling
- 9:56some people try to prove themselves to be this like
- 9:58strong. I'm independent I can do it
- 10:00alone type of mentality, but unfortunately, it doesn't always
- 10:04work, you know, it can cause negative kick back and then you
- 10:08can feel that negative oppression and it can cause a
- 10:10burn out. Potentially meltdown stress
- 10:13depression all kinds of stuff. So my suggestion is this reach
- 10:17out to your best friend or your partner or your loved one or a
- 10:19family member or somebody who understands you when you feel
- 10:22like you're struggling when you know, you're struggling reach
- 10:24out because it's not a cowardly thing to do.
- 10:29It's actually a very Progressive thing to do to reach out so many
- 10:32ask for help. It's the most amazing tip.
- 10:33You can ever take away from anything in this video.
- 10:36Remember that one Tiff say Dan said I have to reach out when
- 10:39I'm struggling. Please do that.
- 10:40Okay if you have anything to Add to that actual Bond just leave
- 10:43it in a comment below if you think it's a good idea or if you
- 10:46haven't any other tip around kind of like when people are
- 10:48struggling, I'd love to know so, please leave that in the comment
- 10:51down below. Okay guys, here it is.
- 10:53Here is number five number five is quite an interesting one is
- 10:57something like I've not been able to do for a long time.
- 11:00And then I've had loads of burnout and meltdowns and really
- 11:04bad burnouts actually and because of that I then have
- 11:08tried to start to implement this specific tip.
- 11:10It's quite interesting we do. In this video because like I'm
- 11:12learning stuff and like reteaching myself the things
- 11:14that I already know and the things I need to implement
- 11:17because I haven't been able to point these things and I'm you
- 11:19know, I should be you know, I should be this is this is this
- 11:21is our life man. We need to take care of
- 11:22ourselves. So this one is implementing
- 11:25relaxation time. So many people don't relax
- 11:28relaxing is so important Nobody Does it right people just think
- 11:31like, oh, yeah. I'm just going to work till like
- 11:343 o'clock in the morning and then just crash and those things
- 11:37don't work. That's not good for anybody
- 11:39relaxation time is so Important. So whatever it is, you do to
- 11:44relax if it's plain games playing golf playing football it
- 11:48going to I don't know a ice hockey game watching a movie
- 11:52going to the movies watching Netflix playing a computer game
- 11:56and iPad, whatever whatever it is that really relaxes you
- 11:59taking a bath gone for a walk taking the dog for a walk,
- 12:01whatever make sure that you implement more of that in your
- 12:05life because life is for living. Okay.
- 12:07Just remember that you have all this abundance of time and the
- 12:10ability to enjoy Joy life so just make sure you put some
- 12:13enjoyment in because what this does is it gives you regular
- 12:16breaks just like taking breaks. It gives you regular kind of
- 12:18like mini vacations because those things you really enjoy
- 12:21that relax your body your brain will respond.
- 12:24So positively to that and it will really help mend any
- 12:29possible avenues that are burnout could occur from because
- 12:31your brain mind body and your whole like being get a bit of a
- 12:34reset and it's awesome. I love that.
- 12:36She totally check it out guys. Just try and Implement a little
- 12:39bit more of the relaxation. Time you'll so thank me in the
- 12:43end. Honestly, I swear that's there
- 12:45you have it guys five tips for improving and you know, I would
- 12:48love for you. If you care.
- 12:51I'd love you to share this because sharing is caring and if
- 12:53you know somebody who could benefit from hearing all these
- 12:56and learning these tips, please share it on the social media
- 12:58like Facebook and Twitter because it would help me help
- 13:01other people, which is amazing and sharing is caring like I
- 13:03said, and I just want to help everybody.
- 13:06Thank you so much for watching this video guys.
- 13:08I will see you in the next one. Peace.
