Out of the Depths: Forgiveness, a Quieted Soul, and the Beauty of Unity | Psalms 130–133
Episode Overview
What lifts us out of our lowest moments? In this episode we walk through Psalms 130 through 133. Psalm 130 cries from the depths and finds hope in a God who forgives fully, waiting for Him more eagerly than watchmen wait for the morning.
Psalm 131 quiets the restless soul, resting in God like a weaned child with its mother. Psalm 132 remembers David's desire to build a dwelling for God and God's covenant promise in return. Psalm 133 closes by celebrating the beauty of God's people living together in unity, as refreshing as dew and precious as anointing oil.
