- 0:01I'm Abby, and this is serious beef.
- 0:03Welcome. We're on the road, folks.
- 0:07This is the return of Drunk Patch.
- 0:09Help me drunk. Podcast.
- 0:13We are neither of us not drunk yet, but give us a minute.
- 0:17Give us a minute. We're rolling away.
- 0:19Abby and Mayor's with us. Welcome, Mayor.
- 0:21Welcome, Mayor. Hello all we have.
- 0:23Mayor and Abby are back to return to the Salty Caramel
- 0:28whiskey from Old Smokey. We're not in Tennessee.
- 0:31No, we're fucking not. We're not.
- 0:34We're sure fucking not. It's our beef that leads us to
- 0:37our beef. That is a tragedy.
- 0:39We are in Georgia, Atlanta specifically, and Georgia is not
- 0:44on our mind right now. She doesn't get the reference.
- 0:48If you could say you could give her AI can't say if I say you'll
- 0:52get cut out, so I can't even. It's a is it Ray Charles?
- 0:55Georgia on the mind is the song I see.
- 0:58Yeah. So why don't you say the beef
- 1:01while I go get another drink, OK, We're in Georgia.
- 1:03We're in Atlanta specifically, and I'm just kind of along for
- 1:06the ride here today. It's true, But four of us are
- 1:11here for a concert. We're here to see a group we
- 1:14love ex scenery heroes there, K rock band and two of you are
- 1:18just along for the ride. No, before going to a Braves
- 1:20game, you're going to go. We're actually our venue is at
- 1:24the Coca-Cola Roxy, which is my favorite name for a venue.
- 1:26Absolute. That's cool.
- 1:27It's just a cool name and it's right across the street from the
- 1:30Braves stadium. And I said to Wayne, you should
- 1:34come along because he has travelled the country with his
- 1:38buddies and going to, you know, as you know, different base.
- 1:40I do know baseball stadiums. They go every year, but he
- 1:43missed one year when I was sick and he he couldn't get to
- 1:47Atlanta. And so I said we're going to be
- 1:50right there. You should come along and go to
- 1:55a game. And so we're like, well, let's
- 1:57look at C39 town. So they are.
- 1:59And so then we said, well, let's let's see if AB wants to come
- 2:01along and she. Can go.
- 2:03We haven't road trip with AB in a while so let's let's bring her
- 2:05along and you guys get hit up the break.
- 2:08I actually have not been on a road trip with you guys since
- 2:12since Gatlinburg, Knoxville. Knoxville.
- 2:14Yeah. Drive into Dan and Shay.
- 2:16If you drive into Dan and Shay. If only I could think of a word
- 2:18that starts with D that has something to do with
- 2:20transportation and, and you fuckers, we went through
- 2:23Nashville on our way here. We skirted around it.
- 2:26Well, we could have skirted straight through it and gone and
- 2:29seen the Parthenon again. Like do you want to get here?
- 2:31I couldn't have cared less when we got here, but I've now that
- 2:34I've been here, there wasn't anything to see.
- 2:37She's. Upset.
- 2:38She's upset. I'll tell you what, we could
- 2:40have seen everything I needed to see.
- 2:41Now we went to eat. We got here, went to eat the
- 2:43cookout. We'd love to cookout because
- 2:46they got you can get a side of a burger with a side of corn dog.
- 2:50They bought the KFC across the street.
- 2:53The. Chicken.
- 2:55No. We're talking about too many
- 2:56positives right now. This is what we're here.
- 2:57This is true. This is true.
- 2:58No, fuck you after. You know why?
- 3:00After we ate supper, we went to the Walmart to get some booze.
- 3:04Right. We had brought 1 bottle of old
- 3:06smoking. I did go pick up the old
- 3:07smoking. Now here's the thing listener
- 3:09Mary and I had polished off a bottle of that on our own.
- 3:12We did the Gatlinburg TN and then started drinking moonshine.
- 3:16Yeah, that's true. Yes.
- 3:17So drink some eggs. Sorry, I guess I have enough
- 3:19liquor. No, that's what I'm saying.
- 3:21Well you know what don't liquor should be the slogan of fucking
- 3:23Georgia. Sorry, because we go to the
- 3:26Walmart and I'm thinking, hey, the Walmart Illinois got hard,
- 3:30hard booze, all kind of wines and hard liquor, right?
- 3:33Well, they've got wine, beer, and then they've got mixed vodka
- 3:36and and rum and whiskies and bourbons.
- 3:38Yeah, take all that kind of stuff, right.
- 3:39So we go and we go down this aisle and the aisle is the most
- 3:42pathetic fucking alcohol I've ever seen.
- 3:44It is not a full Walmart. It's a sad representation.
- 3:47Half of an aisle. It was the refrigerator section
- 3:49only went halfway legit because number one, they don't have as
- 3:52many beers, not even as many beers because, well, imagine it
- 3:55right where we're at. There's a lot of craft
- 3:57breweries. That's true.
- 3:58So they have a lot of those. So they don't have any of that.
- 4:00And then #2 there's no hard liquor at all, these poor
- 4:04people. Now, let me tell you something.
- 4:07We've watched many Georgian people drive.
- 4:10I assume that they're they're from Georgia because they say
- 4:13Georgia on their license plate and they're driving like fucking
- 4:15mania. We figured they were all drunk.
- 4:17I was like, you're telling me that these people who cannot buy
- 4:20hard liquor at the Walmart are driving like this, driving like
- 4:24this sober. So that's what I mean.
- 4:26Yeah, that's the point. Now we've dried that.
- 4:31We passed a liquor store that was like liquor store adult toy
- 4:35something, something and it was like this that.
- 4:38And the other. This, this, that and the other
- 4:40and I, you know, I feel like we should go back because that's a
- 4:43great name for a store. It's an excellent name for a
- 4:45store. And we were like, of course,
- 4:46when he's like, we're not going there, I know he's like, it's
- 4:49too hard to get out. I'm like, it looks like it's
- 4:55being a pain in the ass to get another.
- 4:56And I go, that's what Luke. For.
- 4:58That's the blue right. Says that to their father about
- 5:04the adult toy store attached to a liquor store.
- 5:09What was I, the joke? He was a he set you up.
- 5:14He didn't call it, and he sent me up right there.
- 5:17I'm not supposed to spike it out.
- 5:19Well, The thing is, you had to have been just us girls.
- 5:21We'd gone, but that's what I'm saying.
- 5:23We Dom, we just checked it out. Olivia was mad, mad that we
- 5:27didn't go to that store. It's just like, why won't we go
- 5:30to a store that offers sexual items and alcohol and alcohol?
- 5:37No, I will say it didn't say sex toys.
- 5:40It said adult toys. So there's been Legos.
- 5:42We don't know. It could have been man, It could
- 5:45be stuffed toys, but stuffed toys the.
- 5:49Toy with the dogs. A rabbit.
- 5:57What did you? Say Rabbit.
- 6:02OK. Do you not know?
- 6:02Over by now Supernova, she goes something about magic.
- 6:06I got a one and a rabbit. Both of those are vibrators do.
- 6:10You know, I know for seeing the rabbit that's.
- 6:14A new one for me. OK, we're going off the road.
- 6:19I say this almost every podcast. We're going with the rails.
- 6:21We're going with the rails. Every podcast.
- 6:22Oh boy, what's new? Oh my God, this week up.
- 6:25Seriously. And explains different types of
- 6:27libraries to our mother. I can't.
- 6:33I'm going to have that absolutely mark explicit content
- 6:35and this was true. And I think that I think that
- 6:37conversation needs to stop right here.
- 6:40Move on. So our beef is no hard liquor.
- 6:43What? And you're so hard.
- 6:46He wouldn't find a Walmart employee.
- 6:47He's like, I was probably up front.
- 6:49They might have locked up up front.
- 6:50I I also thought that honestly, because I was like, well, you
- 6:53know what, I don't fucking know. I don't know.
- 6:55We're not from here. So I, we go up and he's like,
- 6:57oh, it's in whatever aisle we go.
- 6:58Look, it's the aisle. We were just out and all it says
- 7:00is cold beer, wine mixers. So there's that's it.
- 7:04That's all that's in that aisle. And we're like, well, that's
- 7:08it's not. So dad starts going, well, do
- 7:11you have you have whiskey, you have vodka, you have bourbon,
- 7:14you have dorm, you have Jim Beam, Jack Daniel, he's he's and
- 7:19he goes got anything? And I'm just like, stop
- 7:23listening. Just stop.
- 7:24We sound like, we sound like we're desperate, like desperate
- 7:27anything. I'll take anything you.
- 7:30Got rubbing alcohol? Just shoot it into my veins.
- 7:34He. Goes, he said.
- 7:37Cold tear. With.
- 7:40I'll be back in a minute. Oh Jesus Christ, no, we sounded
- 7:44nothing. We sound like some very
- 7:45desperate alcohol. We're.
- 7:47In Georgia, and I'll tell you what all the pros that I said
- 7:49about Tennessee of the in and out.
- 7:53Nope, not in. No, Of the cookout and and the
- 7:57old Smokies there and the Parthenon.
- 7:59Well, yeah, Gallup word was awesome.
- 8:01Yeah, it was awesome. Georgia has a cookout, but you
- 8:05know, whatever Diamond doesn't. Yeah, and the Rep, they have
- 8:09that chicken. There's a chicken, right?
- 8:10You didn't finish your stick with the sign.
- 8:12The KFC is a is a chicken. There is AKFC and it has a giant
- 8:16chicken in the mouth. The beak opens, the eye rolls,
- 8:20rolls around. You took a video.
- 8:21I took a pic. I took a pic.
- 8:22Let's. See I video, it was pretty
- 8:24funny. It was pretty funny.
- 8:25It was very funny. So.
- 8:26So that was cute. I had AI had a message to the
- 8:28guys I played D&D with on Monday night.
- 8:30Because two of them live near a cookout.
- 8:35They will go regularly. Sure, Sure.
- 8:36Yeah, as regularly as you can go without dying of heart disease
- 8:40within the week. And that's true, true.
- 8:43So yeah, we can't recommend that, no.
- 8:46And so like taking a picture of the of the outside of the side
- 8:51of the SOG went. Outside if we.
- 8:53Order OK OK that's when I sent it to them and I go we're in
- 8:55Georgia for the weekend so we had to visit the promised land
- 8:58had to I got a burger with a side of cheese bites or cheese
- 9:02curds, whatever you want to call them side onion rings.
- 9:04You could get same got the side of corn dog.
- 9:07You can order cided corn dog. You think if you go you can
- 9:09order that the little tray you can get 2 corn dogs is the
- 9:14entree right with a side of two corn dogs side of two corn dogs
- 9:17you can do that. You could get a side of a with a
- 9:19shade your tasted it could be a side.
- 9:22It's like it is the Holy Land. I had myself some.
- 9:26Hush. Yeah, they were in the hush.
- 9:27We like the hush. Ones very good.
- 9:29They were good. I had the Cajun fries.
- 9:31I was just pointing. Oh, like that They were tasty.
- 9:34Yeah. Now I don't know and then they
- 9:36got lots of shakes. The burgers are very good, man.
- 9:39The burgers and they're really fast very fast, all things
- 9:42considered, and really not terrible expensive compared to
- 9:45compared to you got the tray thing or whatever was 8 was 799
- 9:49eight bucks and you got you got your I got a like a burger like
- 9:53you get like a double cheeseburger or like I said, 2
- 9:55corn dogs or whatever you get them entree thing two sides,
- 9:58which again, could be a corn dog, it could be a quesadilla,
- 10:01it could be cheese curds, whatever, whatever.
- 10:03And so two of those and then a drink or a yeah, because of your
- 10:07drink or you can get a shake or you can get a shake.
- 10:10It's so. That's, oh, that's $8.
- 10:13Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that was steel.
- 10:14So yeah. Yeah, that was Emmy.
- 10:16It was delicious. And then we also went to the
- 10:19Waffle House. Eileen was a trait, a treat, a
- 10:25trait. I was like, genetically a trait.
- 10:27I was trying to say she. Was a treasure.
- 10:30Then I decided to change it to treat, but I was too.
- 10:32I was already committed to treasure.
- 10:34So where did you get a trait from?
- 10:36Because I should say treasure. And then I switched to treat.
- 10:40So I went treat. I mean.
- 10:43What is she was a treasure and a treat and she's with delight.
- 10:47She was very weird. Excellent, excellent waitress.
- 10:49But she wanted to know, right, with food.
- 10:51She wouldn't know if we were going back to Wisconsin and
- 10:53we're not sure probably how she figured that was from Wisconsin.
- 10:55Where are y'all from? Right, OK, She's from, she's.
- 10:58In Tennessee, right? So wait, she's in Georgia?
- 11:01Were we in Georgia? Were we still in Tennessee?
- 11:03Except for lunch? I had.
- 11:04I had to clarify. That, yeah.
- 11:05We set for lunch, OK, in Tennessee.
- 11:06Yep, all right. And so she goes, she goes where
- 11:09y'all from And I go, oh, we're from southern Illinois.
- 11:11I go near Saint Louis. She was oh, OK.
- 11:14And then you went up later more leading.
- 11:16And she's like, so when y'all going back to Wisconsin and I
- 11:18was like, no, we're actually heading on to Georgia.
- 11:20And she's like, oh, well, I'm from Georgia.
- 11:22What's going on? What's you doing in Georgia?
- 11:24She didn't know the whole story. I said, well, concert in a ball
- 11:26game. She's like, I grew up in
- 11:27Georgia, in Atlanta, never went to a game, never got to 1 Ivy.
- 11:33Well, that's a shame. You should have given her.
- 11:35Come on. Ivy.
- 11:36Right, Right. Come on, Eileen.
- 11:40Terrible Boo. Although that wasn't my part.
- 11:43My road trip playlist we did. We our most recent playlist
- 11:48party theme was road trip and most of you guys beat your
- 11:52playlist in the car. I thought I had and I had made
- 11:54mine and you were the only one prepared.
- 11:55I know, but we played them in the car for for ourselves to
- 11:59pass the 8 to 9 hour drive and it was it was hit after hit.
- 12:05Then you you started really strong.
- 12:07Then we switched to Cape up in the end of that.
- 12:08Then you're the only one disappointed in that.
- 12:10I was I tell you what I wrote. I wrote down that I always keep
- 12:17a note tap of funny stories that happened when we road trip This
- 12:19one. I said to live, man, what what
- 12:23the world am I going to call the, the this my notes have for
- 12:27for X and air Heroes. And she's like expedition.
- 12:30And I was like, oh, duh. Yeah.
- 12:32So OK, so so it's expedition, the X and air heroes.
- 12:36And I have down here that Abby is the only one prepared for the
- 12:46road trip playlist. And your last song was Natasha
- 12:51Bedingfield unwritten, correct. And you, you were upset with us
- 12:55'cause we weren't singing along? Well, I said I started this
- 12:58song. I started this song and go, OK,
- 13:00so this is my last song. I go.
- 13:03She likes, she likes audience participation, right?
- 13:05I was like, I will, 'cause we're in a brochure.
- 13:07I was like, who's going to be in the car?
- 13:08I'm picking these songs 'cause I know these are songs everybody's
- 13:10going to know when we sing along too.
- 13:12And all right, this last one is my only mention because it
- 13:14didn't really flow with the rest.
- 13:16But sometimes I'm going to release my inhibitions.
- 13:18I can feel the rain on my skin. So we all start singing.
- 13:23And the only line I could remember is when she says feel
- 13:27the rain on your skin. So.
- 13:30Every time that light came around, we just kept singing
- 13:32that one louder, louder. No, I will say, Lister, I need
- 13:37you to picture this not at like noon, but like, it's 7:00 in the
- 13:40morning was when we started. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:47That didn't happen, but we left it a little bit before 7, which
- 13:50was shockingly close. We had a little bit of snappu,
- 13:54yeah, So we got to run a little bit late, but that's OK because,
- 14:02you know, we managed to hit the the Waffle House right when
- 14:05Eileen was on her shift. We got to see Eileen.
- 14:07Thank God. I mean, it's true.
- 14:09It's true. I hold it to the Waffle House.
- 14:14I go, oh, are we going to Mama House?
- 14:15Because I could jokingly map this to the Waffle House.
- 14:18We were really just going to go get gas, right?
- 14:19And we were gonna, I didn't really care where we stopped to
- 14:21eat. But I didn't map this to the
- 14:22Waffle House because I love Waffle House.
- 14:23Sure, I'd only been one time. So a second.
- 14:26Wait, where did we go to the Waffle House at in Tennessee?
- 14:29Tennessee, we're only in the. Waffle House when we go to
- 14:31Tennessee. Oh, right.
- 14:32In Tennessee. The workers at the Waffle House.
- 14:35Unmatched. Unmatched.
- 14:37Honestly, two Waffle Housees help me.
- 14:40Two waffle. House Experiences both excellent
- 14:43waitresses. Yes.
- 14:44Yep. And you know what here's the
- 14:45thing. The picture of the food that you
- 14:47could order has the hash Browns smothered.
- 14:50Yeah, it's a square cheese smothered.
- 14:52How did we admit that? How did how did we miss that in
- 14:55on the last. I don't think they're just like
- 14:58this looks updated. Yeah.
- 14:59OK, OK. I was like smothered is a craft
- 15:03single. Place to the top.
- 15:06Smothered hash brown. That is a very generous term for
- 15:10the It's not an ass, right? That you might slip a piece of
- 15:14plastic over your face, but not not the whole bag.
- 15:18Yeah. The whole bag, yeah.
- 15:21Just pull it down like a little Saran ramp accidentally got
- 15:24lodged right here. That's and then you and then
- 15:31they died. They would be considered that
- 15:33would be tough. You're right.
- 15:34I have to tell this one of your story because when you arrive to
- 15:36the house, you realize that you won't get to me our new kitten
- 15:40Domino, because we took her over to Wayne's brother and and and
- 15:44his wife to babysit for the weekend and they graciously took
- 15:49her for us because we she's so young.
- 15:51We want to board her just yet and she used to be in her house,
- 15:54but she was there. So she's she immediately went
- 15:57back. She sent us a video.
- 15:58She's playing with one of her siblings.
- 16:00She's they only have one kitten left.
- 16:01They've got homes for all of them but one.
- 16:03She's immediately playing with them and having a great time.
- 16:05Well, they have to keep that one.
- 16:06So that's exactly so we can come over.
- 16:08So Oh my God. But you realize she's already
- 16:11gone over there and you're not going to you haven't met her
- 16:13yet. And I said Mira says you haven't
- 16:16met Domino yet. I got a new Kitty and I said I'm
- 16:19not even a whisker. Not even a whisker.
- 16:21And Sam. Goes in the room and said it's
- 16:25in a whisper. Hi Abby, I'm just a little kid.
- 16:28Hi, Abby, I'm just a little kid. My.
- 16:35Next time I do, I was like, do you guys stop rolling?
- 16:39What the fuck like. Did you adopt the Marilyn Monroe
- 16:42I'm. Kidding.
- 16:43Fuck, she's like. Well, I thought you said
- 16:46Whisper. Right.
- 16:47No. Listener, OH.
- 16:48Whisper got out the door. When I said the car I was really
- 16:56bitching about, I was on a full scale rant in the car about
- 16:59Walmart not having any liquor. I was pretty fucking pissed off
- 17:05and then was furious I was. I was pretty bad and Oh well,
- 17:11she was bad and then she wanted to stop it.
- 17:13This that and the other right. And that was like, no, we didn't
- 17:16play sometimes too temple to get in and out of and then she and
- 17:19then and then he goes and if we don't get back to the hotel in
- 17:22time so you can swim, you're going to be pissed off.
- 17:25And I said she's going to be pissed off no matter.
- 17:27What? And she goes I'm.
- 17:31Pissed off, right? No, I said I told you.
- 17:33Case in point. Yeah.
- 17:34This morning she was the one that held us up.
- 17:36Yeah, let's be honest. She made it.
- 17:39She honestly miscommunication. She said we never told her we
- 17:42were leaving at 6:00. So at six, when we're all ready
- 17:44to walk at the door, she's just starting to pack.
- 17:46Yeah, so that's why we were delayed.
- 17:49And mayor has a smart ass that she is.
- 17:54At 6:10 says, well, I guess we're not leaving at six.
- 18:00I was just stating a fast and I and I don't know why he was like
- 18:05a time in his life. What he was thinking came out of
- 18:09his mouth and said Mayor, that was really dumb.
- 18:11And of course we then, of course, intentionally, we call
- 18:18it like a Dad quote. Yes, because Dad never quotes
- 18:21anything. He always misquotes.
- 18:23Movies. It's like he's got his stories
- 18:27and then he looks up what the quote is and then he reads a
- 18:29similar word, very similar thing, but it's always off,
- 18:32slightly off. So we've been intentionally dad
- 18:34quoting it's quote. So we're like, man.
- 18:37You dumb dumb all all the Sam. Sam jumped on that real.
- 18:42Hard, real, dumbest fucking bitch.
- 18:46Every so every time she did anything, we're like, man, hey
- 18:49man, that was really dumb. Yeah, I mean.
- 18:52Like when I was of course four ways, like no, I meant like why
- 18:56would you poke the? Bear, you know that's.
- 18:59Just what he really meant, but which which we you know, that
- 19:02was dumb. That was dumb.
- 19:04He did right and he spoke his truth.
- 19:06You know what? Right out of his mouth because I
- 19:11was fucking pissed off in the car on the way back.
- 19:14So like I said, I was raining. I was like, these people are
- 19:15driving like this and none of them are drinking.
- 19:17You're talking about alcohol. And then we pulled in.
- 19:23We pulled into the parking lot. I went.
- 19:24They didn't let you out of Georgia because he fucking
- 19:26mistook. It for hell this is hell this.
- 19:31Is hell that's what you ended up here now?
- 19:33He wasn't looking for a soul to see you.
- 19:34He got mixed up. What kind?
- 19:37Of. Fucking place.
- 19:38Is it coming home? Southern.
- 19:40Comfort my ass, my life, all the good things I have to say about
- 19:45Tennessee. Not a single one not yet not
- 19:48yet. Maybe some well, maybe you'll
- 19:49have a good time tomorrow. We'll see.
- 19:50We, you know, fingers crossed before we were made, after we
- 19:53found out that there was no liquor at the at Walmart.
- 19:56We pull into the in and out and we see this.
- 19:58We pull into the cookout. They do go.
- 20:00We pull into the cookout and we see the giant chicken sign
- 20:03across right. That was so my exact word.
- 20:07I love the South. Tiny, small doses, yes.
- 20:11That we agree. We agree that we can handle this
- 20:13out. Definitely the doses is the dose
- 20:17of the South that I can handle is now down to like, you know
- 20:20how Tennessee. No, how much cough syrup is, you
- 20:24know, available? That's yeah, the recommended
- 20:28prescription for cough syrup is that's how much the dose of the
- 20:30South I can take right now. Where the fuck is the out here?
- 20:35I don't even know. You know, we found out Paula
- 20:37Deen found out we were coming to Georgia and closed up her her
- 20:40flagships restaurant. I found out.
- 20:43So I don't know why it closed. I found out it just closed.
- 20:46We're like, Oh my God, they're coming close that.
- 20:49We don't have. They don't make enough
- 20:51friendship for one other text listener, Katie, because she we.
- 20:56Bonded. Because she and her husband
- 21:00would he was military. So they so they lived in Georgia
- 21:03briefly and she was like, yeah, there was a Paula Dean's when
- 21:06they were over here. And so we bonded.
- 21:08I was like, Oh my God. We went to the one in
- 21:09Gatlinburg. She goes, oh, I bet that was
- 21:12delicious. I go, God damn it.
- 21:13It was. Damn it, Paula, you've.
- 21:14Done it again with the. Fucking gooey butter.
- 21:18That was delicious anyway. But here's the thing.
- 21:22They felt closed. They closed the one in Georgia.
- 21:25Something happened, but not the one in Gatlinburg.
- 21:29So I got a text KDP, no context. Paula Dean's in Georgia closed
- 21:37with four exclamation points. Send closed.
- 21:41No, no, closed. I found.
- 21:44I found where I wrote this down. I asked Wayne.
- 21:47I didn't hear why Wayne called you dumb, so I guessed it was
- 21:51said why didn't why didn't you even call her dumb?
- 21:54And he's like. No, no, no, that's not what I.
- 21:55Meant, you know, he's all apology and really upset and Sam
- 21:59cuts in and says let's be real, it's because she was a stupid
- 22:03dumb fucking. Holy shit.
- 22:13Damn. This.
- 22:13Is what's going. On No, no, that's not what I
- 22:19said I. Love you and.
- 22:21He says I. Don't know if you heard this,
- 22:22but he said I was talking to her like she was one of Liv's
- 22:26sisters. Sam goes the.
- 22:30Hell no, I did hear it. It just didn't sink in there.
- 22:37But it's sink in. There it's like.
- 22:39Yeah, I'm one of the. Family, all it takes is me and
- 22:44called a fucking dumb bitch. I'll tell you what.
- 22:50You a call? A fucking dumb bitch by our
- 22:51family. Welcome, You're real.
- 22:53Welcome. Welcome home you with listeners,
- 22:57I think. Every single listener is a
- 23:01fucking dumb. Bitch welcome my God.
- 23:05OK, I'm dying. Oh my God, Olivia also we're
- 23:11we're in the car and song by Katy Perry came out.
- 23:14Was it is the never really over was the name of the song that
- 23:18came on only kept talking, talking, talking.
- 23:20I'm like Olivia, shut the fuck up.
- 23:22She goes. She goes what is the name of
- 23:24this song? I go it's never really over you
- 23:27dumb bitch. She goes.
- 23:32Say it. I said I had gotten a sucker at
- 23:36the gas station. It was a it was a blow pop.
- 23:39But yes, she. Picks up and I said, oh, you're
- 23:41getting a blow pop and you say. No.
- 23:43And you turn it a point to show to me a super blow.
- 23:48A super? No, no.
- 23:50There was a pause. I took too long.
- 23:52I'll admit that I took too long, but I said a super blow.
- 23:56Pop. It was too long of a pause.
- 24:00Super villa. Honestly, I would have gotten 2.
- 24:03They only had one green apple though.
- 24:05They only had one green. That's the best.
- 24:06So she tells her the name of the song and calls her a dumb bitch,
- 24:08which imagine why we call you got called dumb today.
- 24:12Shocker shocker. I know Olivier goes a super
- 24:16blow, a super blow pop because you super.
- 24:18Suck. I think you super suck and then
- 24:25we just keep feeding. That monkey.
- 24:27Because we all. Laugh.
- 24:29That we all just yeah, because a song.
- 24:30What was the song came on. I hope you're happy came on and
- 24:33Sam gave a little say. All of a sudden, you just hear
- 24:36Sam the song. Woo, Yeah, the song starts.
- 24:39And it says. Great turn out tonight.
- 24:47And so. You were laughing again.
- 24:49I'm like, listen, we got to stop laughing and keep telling her
- 24:51that she's funny because. God damn it.
- 24:54Just feed that, feed that demon. The song comes on, my sex comes
- 24:58on. It's you problem.
- 24:59So you know, you played the song.
- 25:01Yeah. OK, that's all.
- 25:04Anyway, she's mayor says to me, mayor really likes this song.
- 25:08And I'm like, are you? Fucking Elmo are you are?
- 25:12You talking about yourself, the third person now it's just like,
- 25:16no, Marilyn, her granddaughter. I was like, OK, OK.
- 25:22Well, are you fucking Elmo? No.
- 25:23Like what's happening? Oh my God.
- 25:25Oh my God, what I I wrote this down.
- 25:27I have a note that's called funny and I will just write down
- 25:30some funny things that we will say when OK and OK we are at the
- 25:42Chili's. You and dad were in the Ozarks,
- 25:45OK, just recently and Ashley was in Wisconsin and so me and Sam
- 25:50and Liv went saw new Superman movie that was very good.
- 25:56Then we did what any trio of sisters would do.
- 25:59After doing that at 10 in the morning, we went to Chili's of
- 26:02course and all we all got triple dippers.
- 26:05Triple dippers. There you go a little bit of
- 26:06triple dippers. I love it.
- 26:09I I have some notes for Chili's, but I don't think they listen.
- 26:12So it's true. So.
- 26:14And then we split a lava cake because, oh, delicious.
- 26:16Treat yourself. Treat yourself, treat yourself.
- 26:18Yeah. Did we tell the story about the
- 26:20lava cake when we were at the B Doves and Wayne promised Liv a
- 26:24lava cake and then he went back on that promise and did not to
- 26:28get her lava cake. Well, first he says, well, you
- 26:31just said you're trying to watch.
- 26:32You know what you're eating. No, no, no.
- 26:35He said you just told Manny, her friend, my friend Manny, that
- 26:39her and the her other girlfriends whenever it said
- 26:42like, oh, well, yeah, where am I going to die?
- 26:44We're watching, start watching what we're eating and we're
- 26:45working out, which is just going to the gym.
- 26:48And he's like, you just told me that.
- 26:49And I said, and he says, yeah, that's what we say in front of
- 26:53me. And then when we're with the
- 26:54girlies, we're like lava character.
- 26:59Just like that. And then even though I think
- 27:04they had to score like one more goal or something and then
- 27:07because you're watching and they did they stalking and scored it.
- 27:10I mean, he wouldn't get the lava cake.
- 27:11And she's like, you went back on your now I did.
- 27:13I did back in public. So I was like, what are we?
- 27:15We are done. Yeah, we were going, we were
- 27:17going involved. I was like, don't.
- 27:19I was like, like, get yourself an IOU and cash it at a later
- 27:23date. It'll get it for you later.
- 27:24It's all good, right? And they did.
- 27:27But but here's The thing is that we're at the Chili's, OK?
- 27:30And Olivia is talking about drip now, do you are you aware of
- 27:34what this term means to malaria? Drip.
- 27:36Yeah. Drip.
- 27:36The word DRIPDRIP to the gens ears.
- 27:40No, I don't. Well, wait, there's a there's a
- 27:42Thai pop group that has a new song that just came out called
- 27:47Drip. So I'm interested to hear what
- 27:50this means. Sort of like swag.
- 27:51It's like you still get like a rapper.
- 27:54They have like a lot of gold chains.
- 27:55They have a ripping. A.
- 27:57Lot of style. Frost yourself ladies, frost
- 28:02yourself. I really think that they should
- 28:03take. Off.
- 28:04I it's all about now yourself now you're dripping with it.
- 28:07OK, gotcha. Well, it's OK.
- 28:09That makes sense. A lot of drip now.
- 28:12Now Olivia was saying something about style and having drip and
- 28:16I of course made fun of her of course.
- 28:19But and Olivia says to me, you don't even know what drip looks
- 28:22like. And I go, sure I do.
- 28:24They call me Drip Van Winkle. I'm the original Drip.
- 28:36Where is he here? That's funny.
- 28:37If you were a drip back in the day, that was a bad thing.
- 28:42You were boring. Where you.
- 28:44Were you were? Wet.
- 28:44You were wet. Yeah.
- 28:46Yeah, you're a wet like it. Yeah.
- 28:47That was not a good deal. That's funny how the terminology
- 28:51changes for drip generation. Drip.
- 28:53Drip refers to a stylish and fashionable appearance, often
- 28:57specifically in clothing and access series.
- 28:59Wow. So like a like a no idea, fairly
- 29:02a well dressed guy or whatever has a lot of drips.
- 29:05OK, so while while I kind of speak Taiwanese, that makes
- 29:10sense for the way their costumes are for the song, I see they got
- 29:14a lot of drip on. Yeah, don't they?
- 29:15OK, yeah, OK. I have no drip.
- 29:17No, no, don't say they love drip on, but stop it right after the
- 29:22word drip. They have a lot of drip, period.
- 29:28I'm saying that's not that's. Not how you use the word.
- 29:36Would you say they have a lot of style on?
- 29:39OK, OK. If you say it that.
- 29:41Way. I understand.
- 29:43OK, that's. That's.
- 29:49That's what. It is.
- 29:50They don't. No, they don't.
- 29:54Can you? Say get your drip on.
- 29:56No. They might say rate OK, I've
- 30:02seen I've seen some, some I I like sports and I like graphic
- 30:09design. So I will sometimes get served
- 30:13on like Facebook stuff of like how teams designed their
- 30:16uniforms and like different things like that and how players
- 30:19could will accessorize these things.
- 30:21OK. And so they will say like, rate
- 30:24who has the best drip? Oh, period.
- 30:26And then they'll show various players.
- 30:28Wow. OK, OK, now this is really a
- 30:30high school thing. This is the age group that's
- 30:33doing this. And I'm like, why am I getting
- 30:35served this specifically? But that is how it's used.
- 30:39Like right there. Drip.
- 30:40Who has the best drip? OK, no.
- 30:43So if I don't want to come across as a really old grandma,
- 30:48too late for. You now.
- 30:50Too late for the listeners, but you know, too stranger.
- 30:52Maybe don't say you have a long drip.
- 30:54A lot of. Here's the thing.
- 30:56If you use drip correctly while you're at the K Pop concert with
- 30:59them. OK, OK, OK.
- 31:00You will probably. I'm ready.
- 31:02I think we're gonna work a lot. A lot of strangers who are also
- 31:05the K Pop concert will think that you're very cool.
- 31:08I think you're hit. Every time I go to AK Pop
- 31:11concert, I meet somebody who thinks I'm cool.
- 31:13Yeah, those people are delusional.
- 31:15I understand why you got to be the scene.
- 31:17Literally. I have been told multiple,
- 31:19multiple times. I'm surprised they let me in.
- 31:21I know, I know like hashtag mom goals or whatever adult goals or
- 31:25whatever. They're like, they want to be
- 31:26like mixing. They want to make sure there's
- 31:27someone at concerts and and doing stuff like that when
- 31:30they're when they're old and they're old when you can just
- 31:32fuck my mother. Hey, one of my one of my
- 31:37favorite types of jokes is what I will burn Olivia.
- 31:40She will try to burn me back. But unfortunately she's just a
- 31:45little bit short because Olivia gets me a lot and I I've learned
- 31:48to just laugh because she gets all of us.
- 31:49Yeah, I love like I love. I love a good birdie.
- 31:51That's my own expense. You got, you got to give her
- 31:53every person, especially at my own expense because that I can
- 31:56use again. That's a perfect.
- 31:58That's a perfect ice cream. When you want to make a joke,
- 32:01you want to like show people that you're funny.
- 32:03Like, oh, OK, this is a new group of people.
- 32:05And I want to say some kind of funny, self deprecating humor
- 32:09always slap because it will, because if you can laugh at
- 32:12yourself, people will be willing to laugh with you.
- 32:14Yeah, if you make fun of somebody else.
- 32:16Yeah, that's not no, no, no. Now here's thing that's not to
- 32:19say that I don't like fun of my sisters endlessly Well, and I
- 32:22don't your God-given my friends right, right.
- 32:25But you don't lead with that with a stranger.
- 32:28Exactly. So if any Olivia's ever giving
- 32:30me free. Material.
- 32:31I'm going to jump at it. Right.
- 32:33OK, OK. OK.
- 32:34Good enough drift. Van Winkle's going to slay.
- 32:39I just use the word sliding and red drift.
- 32:41Oh my God, do not introduce yourself as the coolest
- 32:44millennial ever. You'll say it.
- 32:46So Olivia had said. We pulled up to whatever
- 32:51restaurant, Chili's, I think probably, probably Chili's.
- 32:54And I had said, oh, they just let anybody in here, you know,
- 32:57stupid fucking jokes. They really tell each other.
- 32:59And she goes, oh, she goes, how did you get in here?
- 33:01I go. I just fucking said it.
- 33:03They don't let. Anybody.
- 33:10Just announced is when when Olivia just.
- 33:14She's almost got me, but she's just short.
- 33:17I'm like, this is such a sister thing, hilarious sibling thing.
- 33:22Even. I think 100%.
- 33:24Oh, my God. No, I was.
- 33:24I was. I bought new shoes.
- 33:26You've seen my shoes. They rode all the way to Georgia
- 33:29with me. They did.
- 33:30Because I don't want to put them in muscle case.
- 33:33Well, OK, here's the thing. I'm short, right?
- 33:35And I'm going to concert. I want to be able to see.
- 33:36I've had many experiences where people are much taller, stand in
- 33:39front of me and I can't see shit and it makes me angry.
- 33:42And you pay a lot of money to go to these.
- 33:43She loves seeing shit. I don't know.
- 33:45I do not. That's not very drip.
- 33:50So that's remember, remember, use the word like you.
- 33:53I'm like, I think I'm like, I'm like, I was just going to say I
- 33:58think that's not the right context.
- 33:59If if you were to use like the word style mom, you're bringing
- 34:05it over here. It's an audio podcast.
- 34:07I want to show you. I saw them because I I was still
- 34:13packing them because I didn't know what to do with that.
- 34:15Me and dad, not for us. We wouldn't have made all six of
- 34:18us in the cold. No, we wouldn't have fit.
- 34:19That's what we we told Abby and money.
- 34:21They had to pack very long and I wouldn't I would have done it if
- 34:23I wouldn't have been for the concert shoes.
- 34:25The concert shoes take up a lot of.
- 34:27Yeah, they're big. That made me have to bring a
- 34:29mint size. I need more hyper packs.
- 34:31How many inches would you say that it's 3?
- 34:32Yeah, easy. 2 1/2 Hold it up again.
- 34:36It's got a it's got a nice, big, nice big sole on the bottom.
- 34:42A full 2 inches. Black, black Converse high top.
- 34:45It's a full 2 inches. Yeah.
- 34:47Inches bigger than you think. Yeah, for sure.
- 34:51OK. All of the men listening to this
- 34:52are thrilled. So I got these.
- 34:56They're they're Converse very expensive, which never used to
- 34:58be. When I remember when I was a
- 34:59kid, I wore Converse, but that's because they weren't that
- 35:01expensive. But now they are.
- 35:02Now they are. They're incredibly comfy.
- 35:05They're squishy when you put them in like, I can like bounce.
- 35:07They're like so awesome. And I love them.
- 35:09And so I got him to wear the concert, and a young girl was
- 35:12waiting on me. And I was like, OK, be honest,
- 35:16Am I too old to wear these shoes?
- 35:17Because they're kind of cool, I think.
- 35:19And that girl gets paid Commission.
- 35:20And so she told me absolutely not.
- 35:25I'm like this girl working for. Oh, yeah, she did well.
- 35:27She even sold me on the Sprite. But keep making waterproof and
- 35:30protect them because they're expensive.
- 35:32Man, I need to. Use the lads.
- 35:34I still got another concert here coming up after this one, but
- 35:38two, you need to get those. Wow.
- 35:40Yeah. You remember the flippy
- 35:41floppies, the flip flops? Yes, Yes, Yeah.
- 35:44Giant solos. Yeah.
- 35:46So yeah, I was. She told me.
- 35:48She told me. Pair that with the gaucho pants
- 35:53drip. Yeah.
- 35:54Drip for days. Well, I.
- 35:56Can say drip for days. OK, that's acceptable.
- 35:58I could say style for days. It's true or true.
- 36:01OK, so take out the word drip. Put the word in style.
- 36:03I know I'm covered, right? Harry put in style.
- 36:06Take out the word style. Put in the word.
- 36:08No, I'm just saying if I'm gonna I want to use the word drip.
- 36:11Put the word style in there if it makes sense.
- 36:13Before you say it. I say before you speak.
- 36:16I was thinking a joke. I said Harry drip referring to
- 36:20Harry Styles, not the correct word.
- 36:25Also song of 1989 by Taylor Swift.
- 36:27You cannot replace the word. We never go out of drift.
- 36:31Well, I mean, that's true and you text you're not going to be
- 36:35able to replace it every time. But but I don't want to sound
- 36:38like an idiot. General rule.
- 36:40General rule, if you think to yourself, if I put the word
- 36:43style where I'm about to use the word drip and it doesn't make
- 36:47sense and the answer is no, don't send yourself.
- 36:49Don't say stop. Just stop.
- 36:50Stop yourself. OK, I got it.
- 36:52That's good. That's good.
- 36:53Let that shit go. Go ahead and put in a different
- 36:56word. OK, excellent.
- 36:57Like style go cuz drip camera plays style.
- 37:02You're right. Well, well well.
- 37:03Back from mermaid. The mermaids are back from the
- 37:06pool. Did you play mermaid?
- 37:08No. We.
- 37:10Found a beach? Ball we found.
- 37:11A beach ball, the mermaid style. He played mermaid.
- 37:14He played beach whale. We recreated the Blackfish.
- 37:22Was he like, laying on the side of the pool?
- 37:25I kept pushing me. About his nose, well, I tried
- 37:29to. Do a handstand, he'd go.
- 37:31And it's like you can't, you can't do a handstand.
- 37:37I can do a handstand in the water.
- 37:43In the water not necessarily or anybody.
- 37:46And one time I so when I was in the water I would do like back
- 37:48handsprings and I kept getting in shallower and shallower water
- 37:51and practicing my back handspring.
- 37:53And so then I tried and I was doing really well and I finally
- 37:56tried it in like the two inches of water.
- 37:58Or whatever that smashed my face into the fucking pool.
- 38:02I was like, OK, I guess this is not the right.
- 38:05Location. Yeah, that didn't that didn't
- 38:07work. Don't add the baby, fool.
- 38:11We're almost done. Oh no, you can put some ambrosia
- 38:15that apparently Georgia can't fucking provide.
- 38:18That's she's fucking speaking the truth right here.
- 38:19That is the truth. That was our B for the show.
- 38:23Yeah, fucking this is hell hole. Like this?
- 38:28I can't believe anybody lives here.
- 38:29They never been to a damn fish bra or China picnic with a
- 38:33beard. Is that the religious thing?
- 38:35I don't know. Like so we don't worry.
- 38:36Here's Yeah, hold on. Because I said that they're this
- 38:39is this is we're in Baptist country right now.
- 38:41Southern Baptist, Southern Baptist right now.
- 38:43And so I said to you, I go. I learned in college listener
- 38:48Taylor contests to this because we were talking about drinking.
- 38:52She goes, I know that it's like against like, I know that like
- 38:55God would frown upon this, but like I, I need to go out for $5
- 38:59pictures or whatever. She says something like that and
- 39:01I go what the fuck are you talking?
- 39:02About why wouldn't God front when?
- 39:03He does right now. Me, a Catholic, says that and
- 39:08she's like, Oh well, like that doesn't count or something like
- 39:11that. Apparently Catholics, we got
- 39:14alcohol at the church picnic. We're drinking all the time.
- 39:16Yeah, every fish. Every fish turn water into wine.
- 39:19For fucks sake. The weddings have the alcohol if
- 39:22you go to a fucking church or a normal church if.
- 39:27You could no fucking is happening if you.
- 39:31Go. I'm not going to.
- 39:32That church. But if you go to like a
- 39:34Christian Church or whatever most like you will get wine and
- 39:38the blood of Christ. What the fuck?
- 39:43No, not Christian, no not Christian Church.
- 39:44No no not all Christian Catholics you get wine no other
- 39:48places. Methodist to the Baptist Church
- 39:51was great to you. Methodist, Luther, all of those,
- 39:55all those spin outs, yes. All those spin spinoffs, no.
- 39:59The spinoff Churches I Spin. Off.
- 40:03Churches as in spinoff of Judaism, that's the spin off.
- 40:08Let's be real, the rest of the easy spin off and Christianity
- 40:11is the biggest spin off, right. But but then when you go to the
- 40:15evangelical, the non denominational and the well, the
- 40:19Baptist, well, you have grape juice when you go to church.
- 40:22Yeah, well, that's the stuff. And they don't do communion
- 40:23every week. They don't do it every week.
- 40:26I went to some it's like a once a month.
- 40:27I went to church for some people and my first year of college
- 40:30every cooler Stockton and we went to some church.
- 40:38The last of it. If you wanted some fucking
- 40:41liquor you should stop this. That and the other better go out
- 40:44back out to this and adult toys. Now we're going to.
- 40:51Have to stop there on Saturday because we got to know now we
- 40:54got to know. I got to see what's there.
- 40:55We got to know. OK, Anyway, one stop, get some
- 40:59Lube. Not even looking at no, we'll
- 41:03get some blue. It was easy to get in and out.
- 41:05We'll check it out, motherfucker.
- 41:10Yeah, that was your. What did you just say?
- 41:13You save it, use it later. That's exactly what I did.
- 41:16I learned from the master. It's true, it's true now.
- 41:19Okay, my first year of College in McColl, yeah, you said you
- 41:23went to a church I went to with a couple of friends.
- 41:26For some reason, 1 morning, one Sunday morning, we decided we're
- 41:29gonna walk to whatever church. OK, We're all in our church.
- 41:32Yet I had been a very astute Catholic, astute, astute.
- 41:36I don't know if that's studious. Studious, she knew what.
- 41:40The last studious maybe I'm stout.
- 41:44I'm stout. No, no, no.
- 41:46Don't like a? Beer.
- 41:47Don't she likes it. IPA.
- 41:51No, she don't like that. I don't.
- 41:53I don't like the IPA. I'd rather have a stout fucking.
- 41:56Grasp chocolate and coffee and butter or pumpkin.
- 42:03That's the shit. Isn't a stout now here's the
- 42:06thing go we I active I was very active in my faith in high
- 42:11school. Yeah.
- 42:11Is that sure is that so here's the thing I go with these people
- 42:17to not a Catholic Church. You don't even do.
- 42:21No, it's a non denominational maybe I sure, but you don't know
- 42:26what it was that was in. That was in 2000.
- 42:30Was it in a circus tent? Circus tent?
- 42:32It was like a were there snakes? It could have been Methodist.
- 42:35It wasn't a revival. So it wasn't a revival.
- 42:38There were no snakes. So it's all good.
- 42:40Not that I saw. OK.
- 42:41Was it televised? OK.
- 42:44It's a small port. It was small, that town.
- 42:46Yes, it's a small town. Had exactly 1 restaurant.
- 42:49Yeah, we ate there, right? No, you.
- 42:51Didn't eat there. We ate at the restaurant.
- 42:55The restaurant? Was it Casey's Pizza?
- 42:58That is, do. We go to the next time we went
- 43:00to Quincy we went to Quincy got flunted spaghetti and then you
- 43:05want a gondola gondola which we have in my you have a la gondola
- 43:12in Peoria East Peoria it's in Pekin, IL right yes.
- 43:15I had no idea all this in the morning visiting her.
- 43:18No, I heard anything to do here. But now we know there's which is
- 43:25closer, Quincy or a visa or a pecan.
- 43:27We got we got a Matzy Quincy. We got to go to Quincy because
- 43:30then we can stop and see Listener Katie.
- 43:32That's true, yes. Anyway, anyway, we still haven't
- 43:35made it to the Pompeii, so we don't know when that one will.
- 43:37Get to the log on door we still have.
- 43:39A made it to my original story. It's true.
- 43:41That's also true. It's also true.
- 43:42OK. Next weekend.
- 43:44Next weekend we're in, we're in, I'm in.
- 43:46OK, OK, fantastic. We go to some church and would
- 43:50go up for comedian. OK, OK, they have comedian.
- 43:53No, everybody gets like the tiniest.
- 43:55Fucking cup a little piece. Of bread, Yep.
- 43:58And a tiny fucking cup, little cup of juice or wine.
- 44:01I think it was wine. And we, they, we go back to like
- 44:07our seats, right? And me, this other guy who's
- 44:10with me, I'm Catholic, obviously go up because they eat it right
- 44:14there. Say your Amen.
- 44:15Amen. Thank you.
- 44:17Wine and wine is optional. Panic.
- 44:18Yeah, wine is optional. Thank you.
- 44:20If you're Benedict, at least. People like.
- 44:23I do not. Worry if you panic, it's
- 44:26fantastic. Wait.
- 44:28I. Wish we could get some
- 44:29statistics on that. Anyway, I just thought she had
- 44:33to go over and get wine. She walked over there and then
- 44:35she went. No thank you.
- 44:36Walked away. We were rolling.
- 44:40Anyway, anyways, hilarious. OK, anyway, so you got to
- 44:43believe 220 cups, a lot of bread, water, why?
- 44:48And me and this other guy. Not the rest of every, just the.
- 44:51Sugar we're. Like I don't fucking.
- 44:53Know what? Yeah, come back.
- 44:54Come back. And then we realized that we
- 44:56were supposed to hold them at every Yes, you have to do it
- 44:59together after a prayer. After a prayer, like a blessing
- 45:02or whatever. Yeah.
- 45:03And then everybody throws it back at the same time.
- 45:04I was like, oh. Shit.
- 45:08But was it wine? Or was it grape juice?
- 45:11Listen, this was 13. Years.
- 45:12OK, it was it was grape juice. Trust me, it could have been.
- 45:15It depends on like, I don't know, I don't know, flip fag.
- 45:19The only time I've ever hitchhiked, and that's not
- 45:21really I didn't hitchhike. The only time I've ever accepted
- 45:24a ride from a stranger was at college.
- 45:28I sang, You know that at Culver Stockton, the fucking dorms were
- 45:34up on those hills. Hills.
- 45:35That whole campus was hills up on the biggest pain in my
- 45:38fucking. The only thing it was good for
- 45:40was if it snowed, you could sled it.
- 45:42And we did some awesome sledding.
- 45:44I think I gave myself a concussion because I wiped out
- 45:48big time and went fucking ass over tea.
- 45:49Cattle down, man. I lived, yes.
- 45:53I went to the Catholic Church that was there.
- 45:56OK, OK. And so I go on like on a
- 45:58Saturday night or something like that because I clearly I had no
- 46:01friends and we were new in town. But I was, I tell you what I was
- 46:07when it was it was my first semester that I was up there.
- 46:10Dark times, OK, dark times, dark times, dark times.
- 46:12I shared a room with two other girls.
- 46:14One of them was never there and the other one like party every
- 46:18weekend of wrong guys back to the door like every weekend.
- 46:21And I lived on the top bunk and I the amount of the room that
- 46:26was big enough for three people to live in.
- 46:29I had my bed and the top of my dresser that was at.
- 46:33She literally had the top. That was all of the space I had.
- 46:37And then I think I had a desk. But then she was also selling
- 46:39drugs out of the room as well, Correct.
- 46:41She was selling XC out of our room.
- 46:43Now, it's not that room for the second semester.
- 46:46So that for that first semester was very, very bad.
- 46:48Dark times for Annie. Well, home.
- 46:51Yeah. And she had to read The Hunger
- 46:53Games at the same. Oh, so was that.
- 46:55You don't know I was. Just trying to make.
- 46:57A joke. It's a joke in this sorry the
- 47:02traumatized from Sunrise. I am to traumatize.
- 47:06I got a full summary of the entire series.
- 47:08And I will not be reading it. OK, It's very good.
- 47:11But we listen to the Catholic Church, you said, right?
- 47:16So I didn't really have a whole lot going on in the first
- 47:18semester. Sure.
- 47:18So I go to this Catholic Church. I leave the church.
- 47:21I'm going to now walk from this Church of this huge fucking hill
- 47:26and it right. It's not like to walk on the
- 47:29road. It's so steep that you've got to
- 47:31like. S.
- 47:32Or your way. Up to switch back so.
- 47:36It's not like it's like just two kind of thing.
- 47:38It's not like huge, but still pain in the ass to walk,
- 47:41especially when you've had two walks when you've had such your
- 47:44foot, your legs shattered in the surgery.
- 47:46Yeah, well, right. And I just had a head wine that
- 47:49sure. Yeah, that's a big factor. 100.
- 47:53Percent, but I didn't the body of Christ and the blood of
- 47:55Christ is soaring through your body, and the power of Christ
- 47:58was. Telling me so so.
- 48:03I didn't have the point is the place I have a car.
- 48:06I have a car, so I had to walk right, right.
- 48:08I'm walking cart pulls over little old lady from the church.
- 48:13She'd see me search. She goes get me a ride.
- 48:16She I'm like my mom would kill me if she knew, but she
- 48:21accepted. So I get the car.
- 48:23I get the car. Now I'm using I'm thinking the
- 48:25whole time I could take this lady.
- 48:27Yeah. That's really.
- 48:28I it. Literally was I sized her up
- 48:31before I did. Right, I could take her.
- 48:33And I had seen her at the church, right?
- 48:35So when you're on, when you go to community, you're on display
- 48:38for everybody. Everybody's seen her on
- 48:39community. So she'd seen her whatever.
- 48:41So she's like, I just love young you're, you know, people active
- 48:45in their fate. And it drops me off.
- 48:46There's no issue. That's right.
- 48:48There's this nice little lady. That's funny.
- 48:50I broke down on my way home from Carbondale.
- 48:53Little old man stops to pick me up.
- 48:55You sized him up? Sized him up.
- 48:57I had my tennis racket. You got that?
- 49:00I got, I got my duffel bag, my tennis racket out of the back.
- 49:02And I sell that tennis racket all the way home.
- 49:04And I I had him drop me off a block before.
- 49:07So I didn't know where I lived because I was like, yeah, you
- 49:09don't need to know where I live. I had her drop me off at the
- 49:10dorm because I was like, I think I could take her.
- 49:12She calls back right Plus, plus you got drug dealers and and and
- 49:17drug buyers, you know, come on, I'm like you there.
- 49:20What's the worst that can happen?
- 49:21She's going to come to my dorm that like I'm trying to try to
- 49:24get you to go to church some. More.
- 49:27That's literally all I. Know what dorm room I'm in?
- 49:29She knows the dorm. So.
- 49:30Exactly so. And honestly, I'm like, I mean,
- 49:33it can't be worse than the living situation I'm in, right?
- 49:36That's right. What's your base?
- 49:37That was kind of my point where I was going with that.
- 49:40Right? Yeah.
- 49:40You kidding me in the basement? How bad how bad could it be?
- 49:44I've already I've already literally in the basement of the
- 49:48building that I live in on the top bug.
- 49:51So you all get me it's on time. I still OK you got me that big
- 49:57that like it's like a 2 step step stool to get into that bed
- 50:00because there's no ladder. Yeah we get there and we're like
- 50:02oh thanks guys. You've left her the top bug.
- 50:05She's just had foot surgery. Surgery on her leg.
- 50:08Yeah 22 surgeries. I was I was barely barely a year
- 50:13recover like she is not going to be able to get up there.
- 50:17So we literally went to like the Dollar General.
- 50:19Not only we had lofted the beds, those little risers they'd
- 50:24raised the way up there and then we put the bunk bed on top
- 50:28because I'm like, what the fuck is happening right now?
- 50:31So you got a little step stove. I getting up early good at
- 50:34school slid off a bed. I was I was wrong.
- 50:39I was, I don't know if I just misjudged because it was early
- 50:43or if my roommate had my set. I slid off and I was to the left
- 50:47of the step stool and there's it's metal and there's like that
- 50:51corner. It fucking went straight up.
- 50:52My headache bruised. From like top of my hip to my.
- 50:56Knee, it was the worst purple from from him so hard that I had
- 51:02some I mean I had shattered my leg.
- 51:03That was one of the worst fucking pain.
- 51:07And honestly, it was the worst because it lingered.
- 51:09Right, Right. I'm like, I would have rather
- 51:12like taken a nose. I haven't broken my nose.
- 51:14Yeah, because it would have. You would have just.
- 51:17But it would have. You don't walk on your nose.
- 51:20I mean, let's just make that point maybe, but you breathe
- 51:23through your nose. So trust me, you know, I'm
- 51:25hearing a lot of good arguments, better arguments every time you
- 51:29have to push wheeze the nose right down all the.
- 51:31Time. I can't wait.
- 51:33I can't. When I drink, I'm very
- 51:35affectionate. We don't I'm very loving when I
- 51:37drink. I'm a fun.
- 51:38I'd laugh a lot. And I can't wait to see the side
- 51:41of her we're drinking. I went to the lake the Ozarks
- 51:46last weekend with my best friends.
- 51:48And of course you're you're on the boat or in the water and
- 51:52we're drinking. We're drinking.
- 51:53Have you looked shocked for a second?
- 51:55But yeah, you've been there. I remember the chip crazy lady.
- 51:59Oh, yeah. But we're at her last.
- 52:01Yeah, she was down. She was hanging out down the
- 52:03Ozarks, Right. Anyway, so, so we're down there
- 52:05just, you know, really great friends and we're all having
- 52:08some drinks and it's, it was the most perfect weather ever.
- 52:13Beautiful weather, amazing weather.
- 52:15So we're out all day and we're drinking and we're so funny
- 52:18because we're like, we should have a water.
- 52:21No popping other mics. You'll never drink a water.
- 52:24Yeah. And somehow, like, we met a
- 52:27gentleman. Kevin found out he this poor man
- 52:30is was battling cancer. And yeah, so we got to talk.
- 52:34We got to talking and he was doing doing well.
- 52:38And it was his birthday. So we had to celebrate her to
- 52:40have a drink for Kevin. And we were kind of swapping
- 52:43story, cancer stories and but for everybody's favorites,
- 52:47right. My best friend Jan is.
- 52:48She's like, you know, we're drunk.
- 52:50We're all drunk. And she starts remembering she
- 52:53was in the room with me when I found out that it was cancer.
- 52:56She was at the hospital. She was.
- 52:58Yes. She had come to visit me.
- 53:00Well, Jan's mom had passed away of colon cancer.
- 53:03Oh, my God, She was 18. Well, that is, I think you've
- 53:06told me this story, but I'm too drunk and and I find out I have
- 53:10colon cancer and Jan's in the room and so Jan's just like I'll
- 53:13never forget that. Damn.
- 53:14Like I know you were in the room.
- 53:15I was really pissed and she was like I know because the doctor
- 53:17left and I went son of a bitch I.
- 53:19Don't. Have time for this.
- 53:21And Jan's crying, you know, she's, she's like first.
- 53:24Of my mom. Now I'm best friend.
- 53:25So we're we're drunk and we're hugging each other in the lake.
- 53:31And I'm like, I love you so much.
- 53:32It's like, what's going on? Happy.
- 53:46Birthday. Then we finally got to go.
- 53:48I think somebody had to poop, so we had to go.
- 53:51Why would you? Say that when I just took a.
- 53:53Drink. Got that out.
- 53:55You're going. To poop in like you're not going
- 53:59to be no, the sun was going down so.
- 54:03We had to go. On my side, it was time to go.
- 54:05We were running out of drinks. It was kind of all those things.
- 54:09I gotta get back in the boat. I couldn't get back in the boat.
- 54:10I got the giggles so bad. I thought you didn't get out of
- 54:14the boat. No, no.
- 54:15Friday we didn't get the boat. It was kind of chilly.
- 54:17Saturday, we were in the water all day.
- 54:19Yeah. Saturday was perfect.
- 54:20We water all day. No.
- 54:21So now I gotta get out of the boat.
- 54:23Get in. No, No, no, no, I could not get
- 54:25out of the water. Let's just put it out of the
- 54:28boat and. Wouldn't get out of the.
- 54:30Water. I was laughing sorry every time
- 54:32I made an attempt. When he was.
- 54:33Standing there, he's ready to help me pull me up and there's
- 54:35the ladder. I'm trying to come ladder and
- 54:37the ladder is like really rough and I go.
- 54:39This ladder hurts my feet. So you can like we all start
- 54:47laughing again. And then I got this, I got this.
- 54:50And then I go and. Then I just start and I tell
- 54:53you. What?
- 54:53There and wait, like there? She's still there.
- 54:55She's still in the water. Oh my God.
- 54:58Finally got on, got it on and had to give Jan another hug.
- 55:01And so then they sit me down. They stared me to a seat, they
- 55:04sit me down. And it was kind of cold the way
- 55:06back as the sun's gone down and I just covered it with my
- 55:08Tylenol and I fell asleep. Slept all the way back.
- 55:13I was out. I was out.
- 55:15So, yeah, it was a great. It was the most relaxing weekend
- 55:18I've had in a very long time. Tell you something.
- 55:21OK, Tell me something. Lizard.
- 55:23Lizard. You didn't hear Abby say.
- 55:25Let me tell you something. We go.
- 55:28It's me and Ashley with our friends Sam and Mullink.
- 55:30OK. To drag show like when Friday
- 55:35started. Anyway, I went over to their
- 55:37house. We did, like, Korean BBQ.
- 55:38This. These are the they Sam and
- 55:41Molly, You listen to Korean music.
- 55:44What do you listen to Korean music?
- 55:45I you know, I haven't ever actually asked that.
- 55:47I'm curious. I if either it would be Molly.
- 55:50OK, Molly and I bond over some veggie tales.
- 55:53Oh, fun. OK.
- 55:54All right, so you're on the direction.
- 55:56Love a direction. Love a good direction.
- 55:58It was very fun. Now, here's the thing.
- 56:00Molly, go to drink. If like is I like a good craft
- 56:04beer. You know what I mean?
- 56:05Like a stout as we talk. I like chocolate.
- 56:07My beer, right? No anyway.
- 56:10So you go to the drag show? Yep, Yep.
- 56:13Now if I can't get like an amoronic sour or a beer or
- 56:18whatever, my my go to drink will be some kind of heart cider.
- 56:23OK, with a shot of fireball, because that's usually pretty
- 56:26common. You can get almost anywhere OK.
- 56:28And then a place we had what gone to did not even like an
- 56:32Angry Orchard, but they did have a random sure.
- 56:34So I got that I mixed up because it's like a cinnamon apple kind
- 56:38of thing. Delicious.
- 56:40If you get an angry origin, it's called an angry balls.
- 56:43Fun fact. Oh, cuz it's fireball, an angry
- 56:44orgy. OK, there you go.
- 56:47So that's what I got. I usually get.
- 56:48Now if you're saying I order one for myself.
- 56:51OK, now imagine every time you drink one of these, you're
- 56:55drinking an entire bottle of cider, right?
- 57:00Plus hard cider. Hard cider plus a shot of
- 57:03fireball every time I drink one of these, right?
- 57:06So I got 1. Sam comes, she brings me one.
- 57:09Oh, I'm drinking. Yeah.
- 57:10I'm like, oh, whatever. I drinks of her, she going to
- 57:13the bathroom, she comes back, she brings 1.
- 57:15Great, actually. She brings me one, I drink it.
- 57:19Sam brings me another one. I think I downed easily four or
- 57:25five. My gosh, it was made.
- 57:27Maybe. An hour and a half.
- 57:28Okay, okay, that's a lot of alcohol.
- 57:31I was so drunk I were. I like literally like actually
- 57:37you have. To walk me out, it's.
- 57:40One of those things like I didn't enjoy being that drunk.
- 57:43I'm too paranoid now. I know I didn't want to be like
- 57:47a a burden on other people and whatnot.
- 57:50I don't want to be I want to be that friend so drunk that it's
- 57:52like, Oh my God, OK, you know what I mean?
- 57:54So I'm like stressing, OK, but we get back to the car and I'm
- 57:58like Taco Bell one, let me take something.
- 58:00I ordered my fucking Taco Bell. I ordered myself a crotch wrap
- 58:04supreme and a chili cheese burrito.
- 58:06Didn't she cheese burrito? And I was like.
- 58:10Son of a bitch. She was also drunk and she
- 58:14didn't realize that. And then she's like, we eat my
- 58:17burrito. I.
- 58:19Didn't want her burrito. No, it was I want the chili
- 58:20cheese burrito. That's disappointing.
- 58:23It was extremely I'm sorry. I'm really my sort of like bites
- 58:26into this same like I don't want this burrito.
- 58:30Damn, say anything. Well, I'll tell you what it was.
- 58:34It was an honest we were all dropped.
- 58:36I mean volley. Volley was not a kind of she had
- 58:38driven us. We got back to the to their
- 58:40condo and Wayne helped me get up to the third floor where there's
- 58:44where theirs is and I was like, I'm going to get the shower and
- 58:47get the lake water off me. I managed.
- 58:50I managed to get through the shower without falling and get
- 58:54dressed and I come out of the shower.
- 58:56I come out of the bathroom and Wayne, everybody, everybody
- 58:59helps bring something to make dinner.
- 59:00Like Jim throw threw some stuff in to make like some pull pork,
- 59:03whatever the crock pot. And then we helped make like
- 59:05salad and just whatever. And he's there helping make
- 59:08something. And I came out there and I tried
- 59:10to walk towards the bedroom, which is to the right, but I
- 59:12ended up walking listening to the left.
- 59:14And I'm walking like sideways and he looks like he goes.
- 59:17What are you? Doing and I'm like, no, no, I
- 59:20was like walking sideways and he had to like come grab me and
- 59:24help me get to the bedroom and whatever and I came back out and
- 59:28I sat in the recliner and I fell asleep again and I felt so bad
- 59:32because I did not help them make dinner.
- 59:34I was like out and those guys everybody else got back and when
- 59:38everybody takes a shower and then Jim's like are you are you
- 59:41trying to stay awake? And like no, not even trying at
- 59:45all like I'm out, you know so but then dinner was ready.
- 59:49So I got to ate dinner and then my friend Jim started talking
- 59:51about K pop and I like bounced back.
- 59:54I was awake, I was ready. I was like, let me tell you
- 59:56about it. I got you.
- 59:58So Dan's like, damn, you bounce back quick.
- 1:00:00And I was like, yeah, I'm good, I'm good.
- 1:00:03Let's go. Yeah.
- 1:00:04I've never had a hangover and I did not have a hangover either.
- 1:00:07I. Don't have much of water there.
- 1:00:08No, I've. Never had a hangover.
- 1:00:09I know I have from lack of drive.
- 1:00:11You're lucky I have, but this doesn't give me a hangover.
- 1:00:14Well, I will tell you the truth and I will tell you that my for
- 1:00:18my 30th, when we went to the Medieval Times, watch where you
- 1:00:20put that We went to the Medieval times and I drank a lot before
- 1:00:24that show and whatnot. And then after I think God sent
- 1:00:29me a warning. OK, you're. 30 Now the next
- 1:00:33morning, because I will go what? This is a close one.
- 1:00:40I might understand what a hangover.
- 1:00:41Feels like I'm OK, but I can see how I'm skirting death.
- 1:00:48That was a close one. It was, you know what it was?
- 1:00:50I think it was just sheer force of will.
- 1:00:54I just decided that I was not going to have.
- 1:00:56I was like, Oh no, no, no, I'm not going to start this now that
- 1:00:59I'm thirty. No, not 3.
- 1:01:01But I duly noted. Lord, thank you.
- 1:01:05Thank you for the warning. I will rain a little bit.
- 1:01:08I will rain it. There you go.
- 1:01:09I will make sure I have more water, $5 pitcher, lots of water
- 1:01:13in between. Although I didn't do any water,
- 1:01:15I forgot to do the water in between.
- 1:01:16And. But when we got back, then I
- 1:01:18drank a bunch of, I just drank waters that night and got myself
- 1:01:21hydrated again. And yeah, that helped.
- 1:01:22I wasn't hung over the next day. I was good.
- 1:01:23A hangover is just your body. You're just so extreme
- 1:01:27dehydrated. So dehydrated.
- 1:01:28Yeah, yeah. So get your water.
- 1:01:29Get your water. Get your water.
- 1:01:33Now you know what? I actually have to show you
- 1:01:36this. I texted Katie Listener.
- 1:01:38Katie. Oh, yeah.
- 1:01:39Yeah. Because we're in Georgia right
- 1:01:40now. I just texted Paula.
- 1:01:41Dean's in Georgia. close. And then I went close.
- 1:01:46With. A crying face and she sends me
- 1:01:48this. I didn't see it.
- 1:01:51She sent me this picture with this dawn, this it's crazy, says
- 1:01:57say anything. And I.
- 1:02:01Said you're in Atlanta right now and I'm fucking distraught.
- 1:02:04And then I said I heard the well homes were coming and they were
- 1:02:09like, we got to close this bitch.
- 1:02:10Down. Oh my God.
- 1:02:18Golly, oh golly, didn't you have some kind of sauce thing that
- 1:02:22you do? Oh my God, I can't do.
- 1:02:26This alone I can't do this. I don't need you.
- 1:02:30You don't need me, no. No, 'cause you wouldn't fucking
- 1:02:33forgot the son. Of a bitch.
- 1:02:35Well, I have a special guest on. The special the.
- 1:02:37Special guest pulled that one out.
- 1:02:41I'm worthless. I'm old, I'm back, we're going
- 1:02:46away. You know, I could die and you
- 1:02:49could just be Abby. I'm Abby.
- 1:02:53See, no one would ever know this serious beep.
- 1:02:55Wow. I can.
- 1:02:56Do it. You got 2.
- 1:02:58Different minds just keeps laying back and forth, but sound
- 1:03:00quality can stay shitty and they'll think there's two people
- 1:03:03they will. And then I'll have bear on the
- 1:03:04remind me to do the secret sauce when we do a drink 1 And when I
- 1:03:06say we and me put me out the past your votes.
- 1:03:13And the secret sauce yes, is a Peach sauce.
- 1:03:17We went with a Peach sauce now, because we are in Georgia.
- 1:03:20I said. What do you what the hell do you
- 1:03:26do with Peach sauce? Well, you.
- 1:03:28Put it. On what do you put it on what do
- 1:03:30you what's this for? Let's find out.
- 1:03:31I fucking I looked it up homemade Peach soft recipe from
- 1:03:35hostessatheart.com. I refused to set up his article
- 1:03:41so I only get the first two sentences, but that's all I need
- 1:03:44because the first two sentences say the uses for fresh Peach
- 1:03:48sauce are endless. Endless.
- 1:03:52So you can use it. Forever the fuck you want,
- 1:03:54whatever. That's it.
- 1:03:56And I sentence second sentence. It makes a great topping over
- 1:03:59ice cream and cake, delicious yogurt parfait, frozen popsicle,
- 1:04:04or a Peach Bellini. Oh, now this come from this lady
- 1:04:08right here. I don't know her name because I
- 1:04:09didn't sign up for the article. OK, I'll spin it around for you.
- 1:04:12Anna. Right here it is.
- 1:04:13There she is. There she is.
- 1:04:14There she is. This is the one.
- 1:04:18This. Is the woman who?
- 1:04:21Oh, Julie Mangini. Here's the thing.
- 1:04:25Julie Mangini. This is the person who believes
- 1:04:28that they use this for Peach sauce are endless.
- 1:04:30It's true. Endless.
- 1:04:31Anything. Anything.
- 1:04:34Let's name something right now, what's something that you could?
- 1:04:36I bet you could put it on a pork chop.
- 1:04:38I was going to say. Basting a ham?
- 1:04:40Yep. Basting a pineapple on it?
- 1:04:42Legit basting what? We would say.
- 1:04:48Pork chop basting. We could baste it, but you might
- 1:04:54put a glaze over it. Yeah.
- 1:04:56Well, you serve my hand with like, pineapple.
- 1:04:58Turkey. You put that shit on there?
- 1:05:01Oh, basically pizzas. We put that shit on everything.
- 1:05:04Just give me a minute. I agree about you.
- 1:05:17Oh God, you forgot that we were the same person, didn't we?
- 1:05:20We were. I just was deciding little
- 1:05:23Little Miss Marilyn, FaceTime mayor this morning.
- 1:05:26And then I leaned in to say hi. And then because she said, what
- 1:05:29are you doing? He said, I'm visiting my sister.
- 1:05:32So I said, get in here. We're getting together.
- 1:05:33And I'm like, do we look alike? Oh, and then Amanda said her
- 1:05:36face was just like. Like we were.
- 1:05:39Together because we do something like I heard you say something
- 1:05:44like like you and Bella. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:45Your sister. Yeah.
- 1:05:46And then I hear, I've heard Marilyn say so, like my sister.
- 1:05:53So cute. And it's not sister, it's
- 1:05:58sister. Sure, the way she says something
- 1:06:01so. Bad so that was really cute yeah
- 1:06:05so we shared the same brand at this point a lot a lot of a lot
- 1:06:08of brain brain like you and Sam do that sometimes not yeah what
- 1:06:14we did do that earlier today actually there's there's
- 1:06:18multiple times listener. I don't know if you could
- 1:06:19understand what I I think I mumble sometime, especially when
- 1:06:22I get drunk. Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:23Like right now I know that I. The words flow into each other
- 1:06:26and there's no pause. So if you're not keeping up, I'm
- 1:06:28sorry, but not sorry. I Yeah, but Satan will do that
- 1:06:33sober. She will just.
- 1:06:34And it's kind of it's a little bit mumble.
- 1:06:37He used to. It's just a ring.
- 1:06:38Her mouth formed in the. Yeah.
- 1:06:40And the way she talks very fast that yes.
- 1:06:43Oh yeah, we're. But we can understand her
- 1:06:45because we're used to it. 100 percent, 100%.
- 1:06:47And so there was a moment that we were sitting, I think it was
- 1:06:50at the Waffle House, and she said this whole thing.
- 1:06:54And part of my brain went, I shouldn't have been able to
- 1:06:57understand a word of that. The other part was like, you
- 1:07:00ain't a fucking. Kid.
- 1:07:04Avenging 1000 hurt her then when I got Do you know what I
- 1:07:08learned? Do you know what I learned after
- 1:07:10you were born? I can remember you.
- 1:07:13I remember you laying in the little tiny bassinet and you're
- 1:07:15so cute. And I can remember him just like
- 1:07:17sitting there crying and once and Wade's like, Oh my God,
- 1:07:19what's the matter? And I'm like, she's so
- 1:07:21beautiful. I love her so much.
- 1:07:24And then Sam came along. I had another daughter.
- 1:07:26Do you have enough love in your heart for two daughters?
- 1:07:29Absolutely. Yes, yes.
- 1:07:31When it turns out you have an infinite amount of love you can
- 1:07:35get. Not me until we have a boy.
- 1:07:37Until you have a boy. And then your supplies cut off.
- 1:07:41Girls are cut off. That's what happened to us.
- 1:07:46Well, you know what? That's true.
- 1:07:47It's true. Are you kidding me?
- 1:07:49For me personally, you got an infinite amount of love.
- 1:07:52Yeah. So it didn't matter.
- 1:07:53It's true. Didn't matter by one kid or 10.
- 1:07:56I love y'all truth. Do you know that?
- 1:08:00I tell you about my ego. Skyrocketed.
- 1:08:06Sure. We helped it a.
- 1:08:07Lot OK, no, we were we I was at work yesterday.
- 1:08:12OK, yesterday I was at work and I'm sitting there Erica, who I
- 1:08:16work with listener. Not really.
- 1:08:18She isn't I don't think she's listening to it.
- 1:08:20I've seen who knows we hope maybe someday, so maybe someday
- 1:08:22start listening. But but work friend Erica, she
- 1:08:26and I, we have very similar interests.
- 1:08:28She, you know, likes all the nerdy stuff that I we do and
- 1:08:30what not. OK.
- 1:08:31We always talk about movies and stuff.
- 1:08:33Yeah. Awesome.
- 1:08:33And we're she's not normally at we're at the your location or
- 1:08:40whatever. She's usually in a different
- 1:08:42branch trading because that's her job.
- 1:08:44That's her job is trading. Yeah.
- 1:08:47And that's where the training room is.
- 1:08:48Cool. But she this week she had to be
- 1:08:52there all week now. Very sad.
- 1:08:53I was only there two days. Oh I know you missed her.
- 1:08:55That was. Sad.
- 1:08:56But those two days we ended both work days.
- 1:08:59I think I didn't leave till 4:45 or 5 because we're sitting there
- 1:09:04just gabbing. OK, so on Wednesday we're
- 1:09:07packing up but I've got my backpack on and we're leaving.
- 1:09:11She's my favorite part about coming to the annex that I could
- 1:09:13talk to you at the end. I'm like, I know, obviously I
- 1:09:21love, I love when she gets to be at the annex cuz we get to chat
- 1:09:25and that's awesome. So isolating at the, my end of
- 1:09:30the right. It's just there.
- 1:09:33Nobody has any idea that I'm there because you can't see me,
- 1:09:35right? You can just work from home
- 1:09:37every day and be like, yeah, I was there.
- 1:09:39There's one, the one guy whose cubicle is next to mine.
- 1:09:42He would know and he would tell. No, he would.
- 1:09:44What would you tell? You think?
- 1:09:46I think, I don't think it wouldn't be like like a snitch
- 1:09:49kind of way. It was just.
- 1:09:51Like, have you seen Abby? Have you seen Abby?
- 1:09:53Like what do you mean she's? Working.
- 1:09:56Every day she's. Messaging me all the time.
- 1:09:59The bathroom, I wonder happy cast lights.
- 1:10:01This guy, I was there the whole time.
- 1:10:04Think you need to get off the drugs.
- 1:10:05I did. I think I did say to my manager,
- 1:10:07I was like, I'm going to get a cardboard cut out of myself and
- 1:10:09I'm just going to. There you go.
- 1:10:10There you go. They never know.
- 1:10:11Put the headphones on. Yeah, and they won't talk to me.
- 1:10:13They'll think about. Exactly.
- 1:10:14Problem solved. That's what I do like every day.
- 1:10:17I'll put my put my headphones on.
- 1:10:18They're like, why do you want to meet me?
- 1:10:21And I'm like, no, yes, I'm listening.
- 1:10:24I'm just listening to some music or something.
- 1:10:28Yeah, I do the same. Our our best podcast, I'm sorry,
- 1:10:32was Gatlinburg. Ashley and I that was funny.
- 1:10:35That was on the on the edge of participation.
- 1:10:38That was drunk podcast together. And that's this is drunk

- 1:10:47We left her behind. There's no more room in the in
- 1:10:49the BI. Oh, OK, Well, then maybe we
- 1:10:52better wrap it in. Wrap it up and you can give her
- 1:10:55a call, I guess. All right, I don't know about
- 1:10:58you guys, but after this, I'm gonna eat some serious beef.
