Latest / What's Your (Least) Favorite Scary Movie? / #267: Patreon Unlocked: Horror Jeopardy (We're Sick)
Transcript
- 0:00Howdy. Hey everybody.
- 0:02Oh, shit. My pop filter just went oh, OK,
- 0:05we're already up to a great start.
- 0:07Hey, All right. So hey, look, OK, you can,
- 0:09you've heard Jesse's voice just now.
- 0:11We're going to let her say something here in just a second,
- 0:14but I wanted to preload this and let you guys know that we
- 0:18unfortunately were unable to record our Texas Chainsaw
- 0:22Massacre 2 episode this past week.
- 0:25Jesse has suffered some kind of incident.
- 0:29We don't entirely know what's happened to her, but her voice
- 0:31has been shot for about a week now.
- 0:33Yeah, we've literally, it's been since the first day.
- 0:38We it's been since Saturday and it hasn't gotten any better.
- 0:43Yeah. And it's currently Wednesday
- 0:45night. We kept thinking we'd be able to
- 0:46record if nothing else. Put out an unedited episode.
- 0:54We talked about it and one of our goals.
- 0:57Let me, let me. One of our goals with this show
- 1:02is to put out a podcast we would want to listen to, and we both
- 1:07agreed neither of us wants to listen to my voice.
- 1:10Yeah, it's a little bit rough. We did like a test run of it
- 1:13just to see how it would go by doing a intro back on like
- 1:17Sunday, I think it was. Yeah.
- 1:20And it, this is actually probably the best she sounded in
- 1:23a few days. But this is, I mean, yeah, it's
- 1:27pretty rough, so. And it, it hurts too.
- 1:29If you're wondering, this hurts to talk.
- 1:32Yeah. So.
- 1:33So we are instead going to put out one of our previous Patreon
- 1:39episodes. It's something different for a
- 1:42lot of you people. I know some of you guys have
- 1:44already heard this before, so I apologize that if you're a
- 1:48patron, you're getting some recycled content.
- 1:50But we really don't have much of an option right now.
- 1:53I mean, before we've done like episodes of the past and just
- 1:56redone them here. So, you know, we want to at
- 1:59least give something a little bit different than normal, yes.
- 2:03As long as I kept my voice back. Slight improvement today.
- 2:08Like we said, our plan is that April will include both of the
- 2:13Texas Chainsaw massacres. So Part 2 and Part 3.
- 2:16Yeah. And we depending on how that
- 2:19goes, we may or may not have a 2V at the end of this month.
- 2:22Yeah. So we're kind of playing it by
- 2:25here. We've got a few alternate March
- 2:31budget to your Patreon bonus episode ideas that we're
- 2:35floating around to have backups in case I can't talk still this
- 2:40weekend. Yeah, we're going to have
- 2:41something regardless for that, because as you're about to find
- 2:44out, we get a little bit more silly and a little bit more
- 2:46fluid on the The Patriot, the Patreon episodes.
- 2:50Yeah, it's not like a movie coverage.
- 2:52We're going to be doing horror jeopardy for this.
- 2:55Feel free to play along or don't play along and just laugh at us
- 2:59being stupid 'cause I remember us doing badly.
- 3:02We did OK, and then we did pretty terribly from what I
- 3:04remember. Yeah.
- 3:06So, you know, OK, let's not going to get any more into this
- 3:10than we have. So you guys know what's up.
- 3:13We apologize, but hopefully this is, you know, something OK
- 3:18enough to work in the meantime and then we will definitely come
- 3:21back as soon as we're able to. So yeah.
- 3:25Thanks guys. I love you.
- 3:26I'm sorry. Yeah, everybody be mad at Jesse.
- 3:29All right? It's OK.
- 3:31I know you can't help, but you've tried.
- 3:34All right? All right.
- 3:35Enjoy everybody. Hello.
- 3:47What's your least favorite scary movie?
- 3:50We're in jeopardy. I did it, yeah.
- 4:00Welcome to our June Budgeteer bonus episode.
- 4:04This is our second time recording this.
- 4:06The first time I talked about how my brain is complete sludge,
- 4:10like the toxic sludge that Melvin falls into in The Toxic
- 4:12Avenger when he becomes Toxic Adventure.
- 4:15I accidentally did the Family Feud theme.
- 4:18Song we did the family Feud theme song we forgot how
- 4:21Jeopardy works. Like we have fucked this all up
- 4:24and it was like 7 minutes of fuck ups before we decided to
- 4:26start recording and we're just being honest with you, telling
- 4:29you where we're at right now and like yeah, so we're doing a
- 4:32game. This is for you, our budget
- 4:34bubbies. We've been watching a lot of
- 4:36Jeopardy. We wanted to do more Jeopardy.
- 4:41Yeah, man. So yeah, like we we decided to
- 4:45switch it up a little bit and do game and.
- 4:47It's been a while since we've done a game, yeah.
- 4:49It has. So, yeah.
- 4:50So I'm like a little Jeopardy, like, you know, we've been
- 4:52watching a lot, like you said. So it's just kind of on our
- 4:55mind. And then I stumbled upon this
- 4:58website for anybody interested in doing this with yourself or
- 5:01your friends or whatever they there's custom Jeopardy boards
- 5:06online. There's a website,
- 5:07itscalledjeopardylabs.com. So you can find anything you
- 5:11want there. I just did a search for horror
- 5:12ones. So we're gonna, I got two of
- 5:14them served up here. OK, 25 questions per board.
- 5:17OK, so a total of 50 questions we're gonna go through today.
- 5:19All right. And.
- 5:21So we got jeopardy and double jeopardy.
- 5:23Yeah, but I don't necessarily. The points are still the same,
- 5:27so. Wow.
- 5:28Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm limited with what I can do.
- 5:31And I guess you're not gonna give the winner several $1000
- 5:35either. Well, no, OK.
- 5:37No, that's not gonna happen. OK.
- 5:39But I figured we could maybe like do our own, maybe like a
- 5:44customized Final Jeopardy, cuz I pulled up another article with
- 5:48hard horror questions and I was like, OK, let's do that and then
- 5:52we'll randomize one and then we'll get it.
- 5:54OK. So OK, so you guys know how the
- 5:57game goes, I hope. But if not, it's easy.
- 6:00It's just trivia. You get the answer, you have to
- 6:02ask the question. We're tapping the table for
- 6:06buzzer because we're using Travis's iPad and this is all in
- 6:12the deleted recording. But we had an argument over if
- 6:15we would knock it to the floor and also it being so much closer
- 6:18to him. Yeah, so.
- 6:22And also the cool thing about jeopardylabs.com is that you can
- 6:25enter your name, much like in bowling.
- 6:27And therefore Travis gave me Hank Hill's bowling name.
- 6:30Flamer and I. Love it, I'm so happy about it.
- 6:33And I'm Trav. OK, so we're also gonna tell you
- 6:38guys the categories this time, which we didn't do last.
- 6:43Year we did, did we? Man, I'm so glad we were
- 6:46starting because it was. It was a fucking terrible first
- 6:49draft. Half the amount of time that the
- 6:52first recording was, and we're already doing so much better,
- 6:55yeah. OK, All right.
- 6:58I've got an idea for who goes first.
- 7:00We're going to flip a little Google coin.
- 7:02Here, but first can I do the categories?
- 7:04Yeah, yeah. Sorry.
- 7:05Go ahead. Category is first iconic
- 7:08killers, adaptations, comedy, horror and true story.
- 7:15OK, all right, so let's begin the game.
- 7:18His category is deal of Fortune. What?
- 7:22Where he says category is that might be Wheel of Fortune.
- 7:27Maybe. I don't know man.
- 7:28We've we've been on like a game show kick lately.
- 7:30Game Show Yeah, we've been living in the game show corner
- 7:33of Pluto TV for the past week. It's fun, I like it.
- 7:38OK, I'm calling tells. Do you want heads?
- 7:44Because there's no other options.
- 7:47I realize that as soon as I ask the question.
- 7:52Then see. This is our final recording,
- 7:55Travis. We're not starting over again.
- 7:58That's OK. If that's as bad as it gets,
- 7:59then we're gravy, baby. OK, Flippin, flippin, flippin.
- 8:05Yeah. Tell us.
- 8:06OK, I go first. All right, I'm gonna go.
- 8:10True story 100. OK, this 1958 movie about a gel
- 8:17like goo that takes over Pennsylvania is based on an
- 8:20alien goop that landed in PA in 1950.
- 8:25I. Forgot we compose.
- 8:27That the BLOB. What is the BLOB?
- 8:33Oh. Fuck God damn it you got it and
- 8:36I missed it because I forgot that rule I.
- 8:39Get it? Yay we we fucked that up last
- 8:43time. Two homie.
- 8:44We did. Yeah.
- 8:45No, we got it, though. We got.
- 8:46We're good now. OK.
- 8:47OK. All right.
- 8:48So all right, You gotta buzz in real fast.
- 8:51So if you're gonna get it, like if I get it wrong.
- 8:53OK, Yeah. So moving on.
- 8:55All right. I did.
- 8:56You did. You did.
- 8:57We're good. All right, I did it before you
- 8:59hit reveals. You're right, you're right.

- 13:14Boom, Yes. Always.
- 13:18That's one of those that I always like.
- 13:20I know they are distinctly different.
- 13:21And I'm not saying I confuse the franchises, but my brain wants
- 13:24to mix up the names Resident Evil and Evil Dead.
- 13:27So that's why. And that's what I did when we
- 13:29met Lauren Lavera and I was like, I haven't seen the new
- 13:32Evil Dead. And you're like, we totally did.
- 13:35I was like, no, I've never seen any of those movies.
- 13:39Resident Evils are fun, man. I at first when I was reading, I
- 13:42was like Silent Hill. No, I remembered Mila Jovo.

- 14:54Yes. OK, we're getting there.
- 14:58Guys, the whole point was that I would still be able to answer if
- 15:01it was wrong. Trust me guys, this is like 1000
- 15:04times smoother than our first try.
- 15:05I promise you that's where we're at right now.
- 15:08Let's go first for 400. House of the Devil is considered
- 15:13the 1st House of the Devil is considered the first horror
- 15:18movie ever made, which came out the year McKinley was elected.
- 15:27Neither of us got that one. That was a weirdly worded
- 15:31question. What is the answer to this?
- 15:34What is 1896? You didn't.
- 15:37Which came. You didn't ask the year,
- 15:39motherfucker. Yeah, that was a badly worded
- 15:44answer. OK, that's that's funny.
- 15:46Yeah, neither of us buzzed in so we don't lose points.
- 15:49OK. First for 500.
- 15:51This actor got his first role in The Nightmare on Elm Street, and
- 15:54he's experienced some weird hands.
- 15:56Yeah, that's you. Who is Johnny Depp?
- 15:57Yes, Who is Johnny Depp? Is correct good.
- 16:00Job. All right, that's got first cell
- 16:02of the way. You're doing a good Johnny Depp
- 16:06face. Yeah, OK.
- 16:07Go ahead. OK, adaptations for 300?
- 16:14This 1993 classic horror film was a book a few years prior
- 16:17showcasing what happens when prehistoric creatures are the
- 16:20spotlight of entertainment. What is Jurassic Park?
- 16:29Man, you know, if I was a baseball player, that's the
- 16:33music I'd want them playing on the organ when I come out to
- 16:36that, yeah. That's that's a great OK, let's
- 16:43do adaptations 400. This 1980 film about a haunted
- 16:50hotel was originally a book by Stephen King.
- 16:53What is The Shining? Yes, yeah.
- 16:56OK. What is the shining?
- 16:57Is correct OK? Yeah, I was trying to skip the
- 17:02ones that we did the first round and for some reason I thought it
- 17:04was 100 on both of them. I forgot that you had a
- 17:09premature fire. We opened it up and you got that
- 17:13300, the one with Jurassic Park. Oh yeah, I didn't even remember
- 17:16that. One, yeah.
- 17:17OK, go ahead. Adaptations 500.
- 17:26Good morning Queries. This 1991 psychological horror
- 17:29film was based on a novel in 1988.
- 17:33What is Silence of the Lambs? Yep, that's it.
- 17:39All right. Adaptations 100.
- 17:46We're still alive, Jesse. I'm just.
- 17:48Trying to figure out what that sounds like.
- 17:50Yeah, this film is a mysterious case that was introduced as a
- 17:53novel in 1886 and has since seen many adaptations on film and
- 17:57stage. Oh man, I know that we did this
- 18:01on the last one, but I can't remember it.
- 18:03I can't remember it either. Oh, we did.
- 18:09What is Doctor in? Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr.
- 18:12Hyde. Fuck man, the 100 stumped us.
- 18:18Comedy for 100. This Thai comedy horror film
- 18:22about a real world deadly virus was cleverly inspired by the
- 18:25title Star Wars. What is Star Wars?
- 18:28That was? That was fitting for you because
- 18:29you almost got it that one time too.
- 18:31It what was in my head and I was like, I don't feel like that's
- 18:33real. OK, go ahead.
- 18:36True story 300. This 2006 movie was based off of
- 18:42a video game which was inspired by Centralia, PA.
- 18:47What is Silent Hill? Yep, that's it.
- 18:50Oh, OK, perfect for you since you almost.
- 18:52You wanted to say something earlier?
- 18:54Yeah, 400 for a true story. This film showed a real life
- 18:59Court House in 1979 and again in 2005 showing the hauntings of a
- 19:04mass murderer. What is the house that What is
- 19:10the haunting of connected kit? No.
- 19:17What is The Amityville Horror? Yes, yes.
- 19:19OK. So you get, I get minus.
- 19:23All right, Yeah, OK. Oh, we're tied.
- 19:25We're. Tied.
- 19:26Oh man. OK, 500, we're clearing the
- 19:31board here, folks. This haunted series started in
- 19:352013 with this film based on paranormal investigations and
- 19:39featuring a doll. What is The Conjuring?
- 19:44OK, yeah. What is The Conjuring slash
- 19:46Annabelle series? OK, Yeah.
- 19:47Are they really putting that as like the Annabelle series now?
- 19:50That's basically where it came from.
- 19:51And there there are more Annabelle movies than there are
- 19:54Conjuring movies. That is true.
- 19:56You're right. OK, So we in the first round
- 19:58with me having 3200 points and Jesse with 2700 points.
- 20:07OK guys, I figured out what the sound was.
- 20:09It's our neighbor weed eating. Yeah, Jesse, want to go
- 20:12investigate? But listen, I can't hear a sound
- 20:13and not look. I've been trained by Talia.
- 20:16She's our security enforcement specialist.
- 20:18That is true, but. We're her backup.
- 20:21OK, so I took a screenshot of. No, actually I'm gonna take a
- 20:24screenshot of our scores here. That way I can plug it into the
- 20:28next round. OK, so let me pause and let me
- 20:30get that set up, OK? Category is name that movie
- 20:37quotes, behind the scenes, Christmas horror movies and
- 20:42random trivia. OK, so who goes first?
- 20:46You would go for oh, no, actually the person behind.
- 20:49Sorry. It's the next one.
- 20:50Yeah, so. Sorry, that's you.
- 20:53OK, so I'm gonna go with quotes for 100.
- 20:59They're here. What is the poltergeist?
- 21:03What is the poltergeist is correct.
- 21:06All right, go ahead again. Name that movie for 100.
- 21:13Two paranormal investigators are called in to help a family being
- 21:16terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse.
- 21:25Farmhouse. Oh, I got it just in time, I
- 21:27think. What is the exorcism of Emily
- 21:30Rose? OK.
- 21:34Fuck no, that's not it. It'll take 100 points off of me.
- 21:42OK, what is The Conjuring? They're like, really mean, like
- 21:47farmhouse style. Yeah, yeah.
- 21:49OK, I was. I was.
- 21:49Thinking about a barn? Yeah.
- 21:51Which I think that there is an actual exorcism performed in a
- 21:54barn and exorcism. In my rose, yeah, I was like,
- 21:56well, yeah, no, that sounds right.
- 21:57OK. Man, that was a tough one.
- 22:00Yeah, we spent so much time talking about The Conjuring.
- 22:03Last time too, no. OK, let's see.
- 22:07Me cuz I. No, I got it.
- 22:12Neither of us got it. Yeah, but I was the one that
- 22:14picked that category, so it comes back to me.
- 22:16Were you OK? Yeah, yeah, yeah, OK.
- 22:18Good. Chris's horror movies for 100.
- 22:22When a power outage causes a blackout due to a strong
- 22:25Blizzard, a family begins to experience pure terror in the
- 22:28form of a very large, strange creature that comes to terrorize
- 22:32them. Name this 2015 film.
- 22:36What is Krampus? Yes.
- 22:39OK, what is? That was the most gentle tramp.
- 22:43I was like Zoe when she wants to lay on our lamp.
- 22:46Yeah, OK, Good job. All right, go again.
- 22:52Behind the scenes for 100. Steven Spielberg rewrote the
- 22:56final scene in this film about a couple capturing a paranormal
- 22:59presence on camera because he felt the original ending wasn't
- 23:03a big enough payoff. What is poltergeist?
- 23:08Fuck no. What?
- 23:11What is paranormal activity? Yeah.
- 23:15I feel like I remember us talking about that on that
- 23:17episode. I Steven Spielberg rewrote the
- 23:20ending to that. Yeah.
- 23:21And that was your reaction when we talked about?
- 23:23It what the fuck? He's the one that's like
- 23:28bringing the SWAT team just like brilliant Steven, Yes, OK, wow,
- 23:34we're tied again. 3000 even. All right, go again.
- 23:40Random trivia for 100. It's clearing all the hundreds
- 23:43in the 1st Friday the 13th movie.
- 23:45How many people does Jason kill? Nobody.
- 23:50No killer. What is 0?
- 23:55That is correct. 0 His mother, Pamela, does all the killing.
- 23:59That is such a trick question and I'm so in the zone, right?
- 24:03Now, yeah, it's like. That's right, like it's a.
- 24:07Pretty big number. Do we?
- 24:11Jason does kind of choose to go on the lake and drowns I.
- 24:16Don't think he. Chose that, saying that he had
- 24:18it. I don't think he chose that.
- 24:20I almost counted on. No, I don't mean that.
- 24:23I don't mean that he was a little boy and the counselor
- 24:25should have been watching him and so they were off having
- 24:27Filby sex so. No, I know you're you're we all
- 24:30know you're kidding here. Yeah, OK.
- 24:31Just want to make it clear. No, I almost counted the girl
- 24:34that he pulled into the boat, but she didn't die.
- 24:36She wakes up in the hospital later.
- 24:38I can't even remember her name. I almost want to call her Adrian
- 24:41because that's her real name. Yeah, I don't remember her real
- 24:44name either. I feel like in that whole movie
- 24:46besides it's either Ned or Ed or Ted, one of those Ned the racist
- 24:54asshole guy. Yeah, the one that does like the
- 24:56Native American shit. Yeah, man, Can you imagine?
- 24:58This is Jeopardy? Like we just like they took a
- 25:00break and talked about the answers like, wait, this is
- 25:02fucking wild shit. Steven Spielberg this.
- 25:04Is why I'm never going to get called the host Jeopardy.
- 25:06Yeah, I feel like sometimes, like, because we've been
- 25:08watching this and I feel like sometimes Alex Trebek wants to,
- 25:11like, interject a little bit of his own personal knowledge, but
- 25:14a contestant cuts him off like. It's funny seeing that because
- 25:18sometimes the contestant, like, feels like, because they're
- 25:20like, so in the zone like you were before, like 200.
- 25:24Sorry, Alex. Yeah, He's like, here's my.
- 25:29He does a really good job not getting fucking pissed off
- 25:32because I can't control my face. If that was happening to me, it
- 25:36would be immediately obvious. I don't know what that was.
- 25:38One last standard game show related, but I was watching
- 25:41Little Fortune last night. I'm not gonna promise this is
- 25:43the last engine. OK, for the second, it's funny
- 25:48when they do the final like a thing where they all like they
- 25:51get to guess the letters. You know what I'm talking about
- 25:54the. Very yes.
- 25:55The one that's like super fucking intense and the Nintendo
- 25:58version. Pat, like he tells the audience,
- 26:01it's like on camera every single time.
- 26:02It's like, don't fucking say anything.
- 26:05Everybody. I swear to God, if you say
- 26:07something like he gets like he like he's like, don't you
- 26:09fucking say anything. Like he has to repeat himself
- 26:12like five times. Man, Can you imagine them being
- 26:14in the? Because we've seen that before
- 26:16at bar trivia. There's always that one.
- 26:18Asshole. Yeah, I remember when we went to
- 26:21bar trivia with my mom and it was the halftime question was a
- 26:25baseball question. So you were in the zone, you
- 26:27were feeling it. And this woman was like, we're
- 26:30not playing. My husband can tell you the
- 26:32answers. And you're like, no, I'm good.
- 26:34And she's like, he watches baseball and you're like, so do
- 26:37I like? Ma'am, I was an All Star.
- 26:40I almost want to be like, ma'am, it's free to play.
- 26:43Yeah. You guys can join.
- 26:45You don't have to have started from the beginning.
- 26:47Yeah. OK, OK, now it's I am gonna go
- 26:52with quotes for 200, OK. Even if you leave this room, you
- 26:58can never leave this room. What is The Shining?
- 27:04I'm not gonna look. Nope.
- 27:06What is room 14 O 8? Yep, you are correct.
- 27:10I've seen that one time. I saw it one time too.
- 27:12Yeah, we've had somebody suggest we cover that on the show
- 27:15before, too. I.
- 27:16Mean it's this is Jim Carrey, right?
- 27:18John Cusack. Man, I want us to be Jim Carrey.
- 27:21Is Jim Carrey's in a horror movie from around that era, too?
- 27:24That's also in like a hotel room, right?
- 27:28I don't know. Are you sure John Cusack's in
- 27:31that he's an identity? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is.
- 27:34I mean, I know that he can be in more than one movie, but.
- 27:37He's only in one movie. Yeah.
- 27:39No. Wisely, John.
- 27:40In one movie, in addition to hot tub time machines that one
- 27:44transcends. No, it's John Cusack.
- 27:46Yeah, with Samuel L Jackson and Tony Shalhoub.
- 27:52I need to know what movie Jim Carrey is it Seven.
- 27:55No, not 7. It's a 2824.
- 27:58It's a number. Are you thinking of Eternal
- 28:01Sunshine? No, it's a number, Jim Carrey.
- 28:04That's why I'm just saying numbers I.
- 28:07Think it's always trying to answer.
- 28:08Right now she's so mad that we're not getting this right.
- 28:12Hold on, I'm positive. It's the number 23.
- 28:15Yeah, man, I forgot all about that movie.
- 28:17Yeah, it came out in 2007, which I think was around the same time
- 28:21as fourteen O 8, so. Yeah, OK.
- 28:23Well, John Cusack overshadowed Jim that year.
- 28:27Not too much apparently, since I remembered the movie, but not
- 28:31the man. That's true, and I remember the
- 28:33man, not the movie. OK, go ahead.
- 28:36It's your turn. OK, quotes for 300.
- 28:41Once the door is locked there's no way out.
- 28:43The windows have bars a gel would be proud of and the only
- 28:46door to the outside locks like a vault.
- 28:54Don't know what is the house on haunted hill?
- 28:59Dude we have the remake that we got from one of the mutant
- 29:02meetups. We need to watch it.
- 29:03We. Have the remake, and I'm pretty
- 29:05sure that's the original that has skeleton in it, right?
- 29:07Yeah. Yeah, I believe it is.
- 29:08Yeah, all right, pick it again. Quotes for 400.
- 29:13Don't you blame the movies. Movies don't create psychos.
- 29:16Movies make psychos more creative.
- 29:19What screams? I.
- 29:21Didn't even have a. Chance to lift my finger and I
- 29:23was trying because I knew that right away.
- 29:27God damn, I've never seen you move that fast.
- 29:29You're like a scout, but she gets a piece of fuzz.
- 29:34Yeah, of course. Scout when she wants to indulge
- 29:37in her Pike, we won't let her. OK, go again.
- 29:42Let's finish the category. Close for five.
- 29:45When the music stops, you'll see him in the mirror standing
- 29:48behind you. Oh, that's creepy.
- 29:52What is insidious? Fuck, I don't know.
- 30:02What is The Conjuring? I knew it was like one of those
- 30:08James Warren movies. Fuck.
- 30:13OK, shit. I deducted mine, so all right.
- 30:20OK Christmas horror movies for 200.
- 30:25This 2018 horror anthology starts out with a couple who
- 30:28enter a bizarre theater and view several short horror stories,
- 30:31all with a Christmas theme. The stories involve a zombie,
- 30:34reindeer and an office Christmas party, as well as other horror
- 30:38related topics. What is this movie's title?
- 30:42What is not a creature with starring?
- 30:47Is that correct? No, it's closed, but it's not
- 30:49right. What is not a creature in the
- 30:54house? No.
- 30:57All the creatures, all the creatures are stirring.
- 30:59It's. Not that Lady from Vigel.
- 31:00Yeah, I know. I remember the movie.
- 31:02I'm like fuck, what is that called?
- 31:03Man, I'm surprised that got a shout.
- 31:05Out. I know, right?
- 31:06The person who made this. True.
- 31:08They're true. They're right here.
- 31:09They're not true Jeopardy fans, but they're true horror fans.
- 31:12This right here. I'm glad that we did this one
- 31:14second, because the first one was more like the normal first
- 31:17round. This is like the tougher shit,
- 31:19man. Man, I almost said all through
- 31:21the house like, no, that was that shitty horror that we
- 31:23watched last year. Yeah.
- 31:25OK. All right.
- 31:29Did I talk to you? Yeah, yeah, pretty sure I don't.
- 31:32Think I did? No, I did.
- 31:34Yeah. OK, go again.
- 31:37I had Christmas horror movies for 300.
- 31:40Dinner is served as a tagline to this 2017 horror flick about a
- 31:44man who is invited to his state's family Christmas dinner,
- 31:47only to find out that he is set to be the main course name.
- 31:51This film what? Burp, Burp.
- 31:58Burp Burp, What is Mercy Christmas?
- 32:02I've never even heard of this movie.
- 32:04I heard that in your dad's voice.
- 32:05Mercy. Mercy.
- 32:06Yeah. Damn.
- 32:09All right. I bet he said that at least at
- 32:12one point today after hearing about your nephew's leg.
- 32:15Probably more. Mercy.
- 32:16Yeah, he said that several times, I'm sure.
- 32:18I feel bad for. Him.
- 32:19Yeah, Our oldest nephew broke his leg in two places jumping
- 32:23off a porch and I love him and I hope he heals, but I also know
- 32:26he will have learned nothing from this experience.
- 32:30He's a pure kid for sure. OK.
- 32:32Christmas for 400. Christmas is our category.

- 33:02What is the name of the 1984 British horror film about a
- 33:05killer who goes around slaughtering anyone wearing a
- 33:07Santa Claus suit? Don't open till Christmas.

- 33:29I thought I would have learned a lesson.
- 33:32OK, let's do name that movie 200.
- 33:34Much like our nephew, you will learn nothing from this.
- 33:38Hey, same family man. A man's arms are eaten by a
- 33:43friend's stomach while trying to necessitate him resuscitate
- 33:49that. Happened.
- 33:50Oh yeah. Resuscitate.
- 33:51Yeah, him. In a snowy landscape, what is
- 33:54the thing? Yeah.
- 33:55What is the thing? Yeah, it's like, yeah, that was
- 33:59a typo. Oh my God.
- 34:01OK, see, I told you not the last tangent I was reading being a
- 34:04best of redditor update where somebody was like talking about
- 34:08how she shat on her boyfriend's nephews dreams or whatever.
- 34:11But she kept saying you need to build a rapport.
- 34:13You need to build a rapport in this industry.
- 34:15You got to meet writers, actors, build a rapport, you know, go to
- 34:20college, take some classes, build a rapport and everybody's
- 34:22like, so he was like, what do you?
- 34:24Mean portfolio, so. He's like, what do you mean?
- 34:27What do you think rapport means? And she was like, you know, you,
- 34:30you get some credentials, some work built up like a portfolio
- 34:33and they're like, do you mean repertoire?
- 34:35And then all the cash? She's like, that's the.
- 34:37Word. She used it so confidently like
- 34:4010 times. Well, rapport almost sounds
- 34:42right. Like, yeah, you kind of do have
- 34:44to build a rapport with certain. Yes.
- 34:45And I was going to say, and in certain contexts it was correct,
- 34:48but like it was wrong just often enough that earnestly, I don't
- 34:52think you know this word. That's funny.
- 34:55OK, go ahead. Name that, maybe 300.
- 34:58Which classic horror film stars the serial killer dressed as
- 35:01William Shatner? That was a tie.

- 35:29There's too much happening here. You're like, let's start saying
- 35:31shit. At the same time, I'm like, I
- 35:32can't handle that. We just we talked about the shit
- 35:35and repo the genetic opera. One at a time I.
- 35:39Can't handle the dissonance. I got schooled, by the way, by
- 35:42people in TikTok, like some theaters told.
- 35:44Him, he was going to piss off the theatre nerds.
- 35:47He. Did hey, I love you theater
- 35:49nerds for schooling me, but like I was that trailer I posted and
- 35:52they're like oh, I'm just meant to create dissonance.
- 35:54I'm like OK, sure. I don't like it though.
- 35:57Clearly OK. God damn it man, I have tanked

- 37:09blood because she was a Med student, she just had access to
- 37:11it. No, because I remembered that I
- 37:14remember her like drinking blood, but I thought she got

- 37:53accident? All right.
- 37:54OK. So did you actually guess on
- 37:56that? No, neither of us, OK, and

- 42:57Yes, OK. We both have our wagers on our
- 43:00phone screens. Yeah, so they've been typed out
- 43:01before. We know what the question.
- 43:03Is yes, and I feel like we need to time this, so I'm gonna time
- 43:05it for. It's like a full 60 seconds on
- 43:08the show, OK? We'll do one minute.
- 43:11All right, so you're ready. I should probably have this on
- 43:15like a text screen so I can type in wager and then answer.
- 43:21OK, I'm gonna actually look up the Jeopardy Countdown song and
- 43:24play it on our phone. That way people can hear it too.
- 43:27OK, OK, so the question for Final Jeopardy in Psycho 1960,
- 43:34where does Norman Bates hide Marian Crane's belongings after
- 43:38murdering her? You have 60 seconds.
- 44:14OK, that's it. Did you put down your answer?
- 44:18I didn't type it since I was holding my phone for that, but
- 44:20I've got it in my head. OK, so go ahead and I'm gonna
- 44:24type it down now while you do yours.
- 44:26So all right, again, the question in Psycho 1960, where
- 44:31does Norman Bates hide Marian Crane's belongings after
- 44:34murdering her? What's the answer?
- 44:38You have to say yours 1st and then we reveal the answer.
- 44:42I put in his mother's room. His mother's room.
- 44:47No, it is sunk them in a lake. OK, I had put them under the
- 44:57like the front office desk. OK, so we both got it wrong.
- 45:00We both got it wrong. Depends.
- 45:01On how much we wagered. Yeah, so I wagered my full 3000.
- 45:06I only wagered 1500. OK, so you win.
- 45:10I did the classic strategy of like how much can I wager,
- 45:13assuming you wager the full amount that I'll still win but I
- 45:16won't lose everything. See, I do the thing where I'm
- 45:19like, I gotta like bet it all cuz like when you're below.
- 45:23Yeah, if you're not in the. Yeah, if you're not in the
- 45:25winning place, definitely, but OK.
- 45:28All right, so what's your final score then?
- 45:313100. 3100 OK and I'm at 0 so Jesse wins.
- 45:36All right, we'll see you back tomorrow, folks.
- 45:38All right? Not really.
