- 0:00Speaker 1: I am a Sherry Mackie. At its time for us
- 0:03Speaker 1: to go to God in prayer, and as always I
- 0:06Speaker 1: encourage you to join along with me in prayer. Today
- 0:11Speaker 1: I want to pray that God would heal us from
- 0:14Speaker 1: childhood trauma. Some of us are twenty, thirty, forty, fifty,
- 0:19Speaker 1: sixty years old and still dealing with hurt and pain
- 0:24Speaker 1: caused by something that happened in our childhood. Heavenly Father,
- 0:29Speaker 1: today we come before you with tender, honest hearts, bringing
- 0:32Speaker 1: the pain of childhood wounds that have followed us into
- 0:35Speaker 1: our present. Lord, you see what others may never fully understand.
- 0:40Speaker 1: You see the moments that shaped us, the words that
- 0:44Speaker 1: hurt us, the experiences that left scars on our hearts. Father,
- 0:49Speaker 1: Some of us carry memories of neglect, moments when we
- 0:52Speaker 1: felt unseen or unheard. Some carry the weight of harsh words, criticism,
- 0:57Speaker 1: or rejection. Some have experienced homes, instability, or loss too
- 1:03Speaker 1: early in life and still carry fear insecurity and trust,
- 1:09Speaker 1: issues rooted and what we went through as children. But Lord,
- 1:13Speaker 1: today we bring it all to you. You are not
- 1:16Speaker 1: only the God of our presence. You are the one
- 1:20Speaker 1: who was there in our past, even in the moments
- 1:22Speaker 1: we felt alone, you saw us. Even in the moments
- 1:26Speaker 1: we felt abandoned, You were near, Even in the moments
- 1:29Speaker 1: we didn't understand. You never stopped loving us. Father, heal
- 1:35Speaker 1: us at the root. Heal the inner child within us
- 1:38Speaker 1: that steal aches. Heal the places where fear took hold.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Heal the places where we learn to doubt our own worth.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Heal the places where we built walls to protect ourselves. Lord,
- 1:50Speaker 1: replaced pain with peace where there was rejection. Remind us
- 1:55Speaker 1: that we are accepted where there was a neglect. Remind
- 1:59Speaker 1: us that we are and valued where there was instability.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Become our firm foundation. Teach us, Father that what happened
- 2:07Speaker 1: to us does not define who we are. We are
- 2:12Speaker 1: not broken beyond repair. We are not bound by our past.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We are not limited by what we lack. We are
- 2:20Speaker 1: your children. We are loved, We are chosen. We are calling.
- 2:24Speaker 1: So Lord, help us to release the pain we've been
- 2:27Speaker 1: holding on. To give us the strength to forgive, not
- 2:30Speaker 1: because it was easy, not because it didn't hurt, but
- 2:33Speaker 1: because we no longer want to carry it. Free us
- 2:36Speaker 1: from bitterness, from resentment, and the weight of what was
- 2:40Speaker 1: done to us. Father, Restore our mind, great cycles of
- 2:45Speaker 1: negative thinking. Silence the inner critic. Renew our thoughts with truth,
- 2:50Speaker 1: love and peace. Help us to build healthy relationships, to
- 2:54Speaker 1: trust again, and to love without fear. Surround us with people,
- 2:59Speaker 1: God safe, people who reflect your heart and support our
- 3:02Speaker 1: healing journey. And Lord, as you heal, help us grow.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Let our pain become purpose. Let our healing become a testimony.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Let our story bring a hope to someone else. Today, God,
- 3:14Speaker 1: we declare that we're not stuck. We are healing. We're
- 3:18Speaker 1: not defeated. We're being restored. We are not alone. You
- 3:22Speaker 1: are with us every step of the way. Thank you
- 3:26Speaker 1: for loving us through every chapter of our lives. In
- 3:29Speaker 1: Jesus name. Amen, Amen,
