- 0:09Speaker 1: Many of us have faced mysterious health problems that no
- 0:12Speaker 1: one can seem to explain, conditions that worsen over time
- 0:16Speaker 1: and are often labeled genetic, or incurable or simply unsolvable.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But what if many of these challenges could actually be
- 0:24Speaker 1: reversed by looking deeper down into the cellular level. Today's
- 0:29Speaker 1: guest shares overlooked clues, root causes, and practical strategies that
- 0:33Speaker 1: can reveal what's really happening inside of our bodies and
- 0:37Speaker 1: open the door to real healing and renewed hope. Hello everybody,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and welcome back to Life TV Now, where we unpack
- 0:50Speaker 1: all matters of truth, faith and freedom. I'm your host,
- 0:53Speaker 1: Joe Artist Horne. Today's program is going to be incredible,
- 0:57Speaker 1: and I know that I know that, I know it's
- 0:59Speaker 1: already resonating here in my heart that many of you
- 1:02Speaker 1: watching this program are probably about to experience a watershed
- 1:05Speaker 1: moment where God is going to take you from what
- 1:07Speaker 1: you thought you knew about medicine and He's going to
- 1:10Speaker 1: begin to reveal a whole new method for reclaiming life
- 1:15Speaker 1: and vitality. But before we dive in, let me introduce
- 1:17Speaker 1: who's here. She's an integrative nutrition health coach with a
- 1:20Speaker 1: Master of Science and health education. Please welcome my co host,
- 1:24Speaker 1: Jamie Woodle, and she's a medical scientist with a master's
- 1:33Speaker 1: in immunotoxicology and her PhD fellowship in autoimmune disease. Please
- 1:38Speaker 1: welcome the one and only Derenda Smith. I am so
- 1:47Speaker 1: excited about today's program. We're going to be diving into
- 1:49Speaker 1: something that I've been through many, many years ago. I
- 1:52Speaker 1: know that Jamie Woodle is now going through. But it's
- 1:55Speaker 1: something that a lot of people are confronted by. And
- 1:58Speaker 1: usually so when they find leave kind of allopathic medicine,
- 2:02Speaker 1: or maybe they've decided that they've been through every test
- 2:05Speaker 1: that exists and they're still grappling with weight issues or
- 2:08Speaker 1: Type two diabetes, or inflammation or digestion, and they'll approach
- 2:14Speaker 1: someone maybe from the natural sphere of things, a holistic practitioner,
- 2:18Speaker 1: somebody that focuses on God's medicine, his ability to nourish
- 2:23Speaker 1: ourselves if we present the right vitamins and minerals and
- 2:26Speaker 1: detox methodologies and so forth. But in order to make
- 2:30Speaker 1: those determinations, they'll offer things like a genetic test. Now
- 2:34Speaker 1: here's what I want to say, at the very onset.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm becoming a fan again of genetic testing. Years and
- 2:41Speaker 1: years ago I went through this when it was discovered
- 2:43Speaker 1: that I had two genetic sniffs, both hetero and homeozygis MTHFR,
- 2:48Speaker 1: which is the short acronym for methylene tetrahydrofolate reductdays. And
- 2:53Speaker 1: for those that are like, Okay, you've already lost me,
- 2:55Speaker 1: it's a genetic sniff that means that I may have
- 2:58Speaker 1: difficulty do have difficulty processing and absorbing vitamin bs, which
- 3:03Speaker 1: have everything to do with your neurology, your ability to
- 3:07Speaker 1: remember things and to focus on words or learn or
- 3:09Speaker 1: remember why you walked into a room. These are areas
- 3:12Speaker 1: of health where traditionally allopathic medicine they're not looking at
- 3:16Speaker 1: your genetics and then trying to quantify whether you have
- 3:18Speaker 1: a B deficiency. They'll do a blood lab that'll more
- 3:20Speaker 1: than likely tell them they have plenty of BEE in
- 3:24Speaker 1: the system, but whether it's in the system or available
- 3:28Speaker 1: to the cells completely different. I was for years struggling
- 3:33Speaker 1: with your B twelve is fine, it's fine. Your blood
- 3:36Speaker 1: says it's fine, you got tons, And when I started
- 3:40Speaker 1: to learn certain things about my own genetics, I had
- 3:43Speaker 1: this watershed moment Derinda where I thought, now we're going
- 3:46Speaker 1: to find how to nourish my body. And you might
- 3:49Speaker 1: recall years and years ago I did a program on
- 3:52Speaker 1: MTHFR in the old SkyWatch television studios, and I talked
- 3:56Speaker 1: about not being a big fan of genetic tests that
- 4:01Speaker 1: and I meant it when I said it, because at
- 4:04Speaker 1: the time I was being encouraged to look at total
- 4:06Speaker 1: detoks first, we don't need these expensive genetic tests, et cetera.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And I boasted that I eat a lot of eggs
- 4:12Speaker 1: and I should have plenty of B twelve. But if
- 4:14Speaker 1: you'll recall, at the same time, I used to talk
- 4:17Speaker 1: about only having a seventy five percentile feeling of recovery
- 4:20Speaker 1: from the days when I was dying, and so I
- 4:23Speaker 1: would say, there are still things we're working through, we're
- 4:25Speaker 1: trying to get to the bottom of. And so I
- 4:28Speaker 1: am here to be persuaded. I still am not one
- 4:31Speaker 1: that you know, encourages people to rush day one to
- 4:35Speaker 1: something like a genetic test, because I do believe if
- 4:38Speaker 1: there are some low hanging fruit ways to start with,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you know, getting some nutrition in the system and see
- 4:43Speaker 1: if you don't feel one hundred percent, maybe you don't
- 4:46Speaker 1: need to rush to these tests. But on the other hand,
- 4:49Speaker 1: one of the reasons I say I've become kind of
- 4:51Speaker 1: a fan again is because I feel like there's a
- 4:53Speaker 1: time and a place when determinations have not been conclusive,
- 4:57Speaker 1: maybe when people feel like they are spinning their wheels
- 5:01Speaker 1: or starting over every week, that maybe things like a
- 5:05Speaker 1: genetic test could be very illuminating for that person because
- 5:09Speaker 1: of this thing we call bioindividuality. So what I want
- 5:14Speaker 1: to talk about today is your views of when you
- 5:17Speaker 1: think it's worth testing. And I know I keep saying
- 5:19Speaker 1: the words genetic tests. There are lots of tests, hormone labs,
- 5:23Speaker 1: there are k panels that look at a prostate function
- 5:26Speaker 1: or a certain inflammatory marker. When do you think it's
- 5:30Speaker 1: appropriate when somebody sees you, for example, at your practice
- 5:34Speaker 1: that we're going to talk about in a few minutes
- 5:36Speaker 1: as well before we end this program. I know that
- 5:38Speaker 1: you're a fan of tests, don't guess, But I do
- 5:41Speaker 1: see people often racing to myriad tests and then piling
- 5:45Speaker 1: pee dog piling people with supplements. And I'm also not
- 5:48Speaker 1: that guy. Somewhere in the middle, do you agree, Somewhere
- 5:52Speaker 1: in the middle, a rational approach to diagnosing underlying root
- 5:55Speaker 1: causes and then tailoring a plan for an individual's need
- 6:00Speaker 1: rather than just shotgun blast test everything and the dog
- 6:04Speaker 1: pile supplements.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Right, and you're exactly right. And so when people come
- 6:09Speaker 2: to us, first of all, I'm going to sit down
- 6:11Speaker 2: and talk to them for a good long time, and
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm going to see where are they at? Spiritually? Where
- 6:17Speaker 2: are they at? Emotionally? Where are they at? Financially? Where
- 6:22Speaker 2: are they at? Knowledge wise as far as understanding? You know,
- 6:28Speaker 2: have they been following natural ways of healing for a
- 6:32Speaker 2: long time? Are they watching all the gurus? Are you know?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Are they confused? Are they where? Are they right? Because
- 6:40Speaker 2: really everyone heals, everyone has their own specific healing journey.
- 6:47Speaker 2: God made it that way because you know, He could
- 6:50Speaker 2: just look down at us in the minute that we
- 6:51Speaker 2: look up and say, okay, I've got a chronic illness now,
- 6:55Speaker 2: or I've got multiple symptoms, Lord, I need you to
- 6:58Speaker 2: heal me. And if he wants to, he could just
- 7:01Speaker 2: go zap, there you go, because I want you to
- 7:04Speaker 2: do the work in the kingdom and you need to
- 7:05Speaker 2: be healthy, soil there you go. Booms, app That's not
- 7:08Speaker 2: the way he does it, and what.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I've all often often we have seen those miraculous exceptions.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I have witnessed them with my own eyes, which also
- 7:18Speaker 1: makes it hard when you're not one of the ones
- 7:20Speaker 1: that gets that instant deftly.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But that's because he's got a purpose and a plan
- 7:25Speaker 2: to bring us through in order to help us to
- 7:28Speaker 2: grow more christ Like. And I've seen it in every
- 7:31Speaker 2: single one of our clients. I've seen it in me,
- 7:34Speaker 2: and so really everyone's health journey, it just needs to
- 7:38Speaker 2: start with someone listening to the person and seeing where
- 7:43Speaker 2: they're at, what can they afford. I know my own
- 7:45Speaker 2: personal health journey. I was absolutely broke when I first
- 7:50Speaker 2: started learning how to heal right. I could not afford
- 7:57Speaker 2: multiple tests. There was no way. I couldn't even get
- 8:00Speaker 2: a credit card in order to pay for anything, okay,
- 8:04Speaker 2: and so so really I did have to start with
- 8:07Speaker 2: the basics. And honestly, that's what we love to do,
- 8:11Speaker 2: is just start people with the basics. And see someone
- 8:14Speaker 2: was saying to me recently, they said, ah, but you know,
- 8:18Speaker 2: my diet is terrible and I really don't know where
- 8:21Speaker 2: to start. Well, then let's start there, because really getting
- 8:26Speaker 2: your diet more aligned with the way God really meant
- 8:30Speaker 2: us to eat in the first place, without all the toxins,
- 8:34Speaker 2: without all the junk. Okay, it doesn't mean that we
- 8:38Speaker 2: have to be perfect, but it does mean that we
- 8:40Speaker 2: do need to make some changes because there's no way
- 8:43Speaker 2: we're gonna get well if we're still adding the poisons. Okay,
- 8:50Speaker 2: you can't keep adding the poisons and expect to get well.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So we really do have to help people at those
- 8:58Speaker 2: baby step and helping people to get their confidence back,
- 9:04Speaker 2: to realize that once you do start taking those steps
- 9:07Speaker 2: and you do actually start feeling a little bit more energy,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and your inflammation starts coming down and you have less symptoms,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and you start to realize there's this wonderful thing that
- 9:19Speaker 2: happens in your hormones and your brain, and you just go,
- 9:23Speaker 2: oh h maybe I do have more control over this,
- 9:28Speaker 2: and I've been led to believe.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah. One of the goals of this program, and
- 9:32Speaker 1: I said this in the pilot, is I want viewers
- 9:35Speaker 1: to feel like they're getting their agency back, agency that
- 9:38Speaker 1: the Babylonian construct, whether intentional or not, has taken from
- 9:42Speaker 1: them a total dependency on pharmaceuticals and doctors telling them
- 9:46Speaker 1: what to swallow and what to do and what to
- 9:48Speaker 1: cut out. And these people are hostage. They are under
- 9:52Speaker 1: the belief that that is the best that the brilliant
- 9:55Speaker 1: minds of planet Earth, with their big fancy gizmos and
- 9:58Speaker 1: machines can off. And next to zero of it has
- 10:03Speaker 1: one thing to do with God's plan to restore.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's man's best. That's not God's best.
- 10:08Speaker 1: That's right. And when you get to know herbal support
- 10:12Speaker 1: and you get into you know, the medicine that God
- 10:14Speaker 1: has given us right out of the land, that is,
- 10:17Speaker 1: in my view, the most likely path to a person's
- 10:20Speaker 1: restoration and the restoration of their vitality. And I just
- 10:23Speaker 1: want to offer this to viewers that missed previous episodes
- 10:26Speaker 1: where Dorinda was here in studio with us. We're not
- 10:29Speaker 1: going to do this today. Go back to the archives
- 10:31Speaker 1: wherever it is that you watch Life TV. Now, maybe
- 10:34Speaker 1: download the sky Watch TV mobile app for free at
- 10:37Speaker 1: the app Store where all of our episodes exist. If
- 10:39Speaker 1: you're not watching on YouTube, rumble Roku the Freedom of
- 10:42Speaker 1: the Faith and Freedom Network wherever it is that you're
- 10:44Speaker 1: watching the program. Because Derinda tells this story through brutal
- 10:49Speaker 1: decades of seven autoimmune conditions. Personally, she's walking through an
- 10:54Speaker 1: abject nightmare before God showed her how healing was possible.
- 10:59Speaker 1: And you, like me and like Jamie, had done everything
- 11:02Speaker 1: allopathically that men offered. I had half my colon taken out.
- 11:07Speaker 1: They were literally killing me with medications. And I don't
- 11:10Speaker 1: say that nefariously. I don't mean that the doctors trying
- 11:13Speaker 1: to help me were trying to kill me. I'm saying
- 11:16Speaker 1: this is a problem we see in a lot of
- 11:18Speaker 1: what we think of as mainstream medicine here in Western culture.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's not the doctors. Many of these are very good people.
- 11:25Speaker 1: They're very smart. They're very smart people, and they care
- 11:29Speaker 1: and they care deeply. But it's the places of academia.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It's the places where they're going. You as a scientist
- 11:36Speaker 1: in immuno toxicology, studying the modality of autoimmune disease, and
- 11:41Speaker 1: literally knew zero of you know, years of being a scientist,
- 11:46Speaker 1: knew zero about God's medicine or diet or his herbs.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And that's why when you had your crisis, you know,
- 11:55Speaker 1: seven autoimmune diseases into this, she's basically bedridden before she
- 12:00Speaker 1: discovers that there's another way there's God's medicine. There are
- 12:04Speaker 1: practitioners and naturopaths, and we call it cam caaren alternative medicine.
- 12:09Speaker 1: These are often chiropractors that have, you know, all kinds
- 12:13Speaker 1: of knowledge about herbs and their application and the things
- 12:16Speaker 1: that you rub topically and the things that overcome things
- 12:19Speaker 1: like infection. And I remember years ago when my wife
- 12:22Speaker 1: and I were first coming out of what I now
- 12:24Speaker 1: call the Babylonian construct, and one of our daughters was
- 12:28Speaker 1: having chronic UTIs and she was on antibiotic after antibiotic
- 12:33Speaker 1: after antibiotic after I was slowly recovering from my colon
- 12:39Speaker 1: disaster and had kind of left Babylon and was trying
- 12:43Speaker 1: to find a way to nourish myself very baby steps
- 12:46Speaker 1: day day one type stuff. And I did a basic
- 12:48Speaker 1: Google search and within ten seconds had learned of something
- 12:52Speaker 1: called d manos, one of nature's healing sugars that does
- 12:56Speaker 1: not play with your glucose or your insulin at all,
- 13:00Speaker 1: Like you know cane sugar from clue carries from cranberries. Yes,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and you've heard your grandma say, drink a bunch of
- 13:08Speaker 1: cranberry juice. Well, d mannos is the isolated concentrate. It's
- 13:13Speaker 1: basically the extraction. So taking a capsule is like you know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: taking immediately, you know, fourteen bags of cranberry, like you'd
- 13:21Speaker 1: never eat enough cranberries. Yeah, without all the sugar. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: asked my daughter's pediatrician at the time, who loved my
- 13:28Speaker 1: daughter and was all in to help, have you ever
- 13:31Speaker 1: heard of and I pulled it up on my phone.
- 13:33Speaker 1: D Manos and she said, D what right? And this
- 13:37Speaker 1: is all wild. And by the way, the reason that
- 13:40Speaker 1: part of this was chronic is because the first three
- 13:42Speaker 1: antibiotics they had put her on, they never tested the
- 13:45Speaker 1: culture to see which bacterium it was, and so she
- 13:48Speaker 1: was just destroying her gut flora for no reason with
- 13:52Speaker 1: a uti that can't be touched by the strain of bacterium,
- 13:55Speaker 1: you know, by the grace of God. Like one day
- 13:59Speaker 1: after partnering a couple of herbs and D Mantos together
- 14:03Speaker 1: for bacteria and urinal flow, my daughter was improving immediately.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And this was when we went and saw Matthew Sam's
- 14:10Speaker 1: at Healing Arts and Branson all that to say, I
- 14:13Speaker 1: asked him, I said, doctor SAMs, do you find that
- 14:17Speaker 1: today in the world that we're living in with what
- 14:20Speaker 1: are being described by scientists superbugs, superviruses, super bacterias. Are
- 14:26Speaker 1: you finding that the ones that they're saying are becoming
- 14:28Speaker 1: resistant to antibiotics and they keep coming up with new
- 14:32Speaker 1: medications and so forth, that these new superbugs just can't
- 14:36Speaker 1: be touched by nature anymore. Like we're way past the
- 14:39Speaker 1: time we could have gone the root of God's medicine.
- 14:42Speaker 1: And he is not a condescending person at all. So
- 14:44Speaker 1: when I do this face, it's probably going to misrepresent.
- 14:46Speaker 1: But he goes just a Cheshire grin and a nod
- 14:51Speaker 1: and he says, actually, Joe, it's the opposite. He said,
- 14:56Speaker 1: it's the opposite. We're finding that these superbugs are becoming
- 14:59Speaker 1: resistant to the ends brobiotics, and they have no idea
- 15:01Speaker 1: how to deal with God's on adulterated medicine. But this
- 15:05Speaker 1: is back when I am. I mean, we're two months
- 15:07Speaker 1: into this new idea that we're going to go see
- 15:09Speaker 1: a Dirinda Smith type person. And I remember telling my
- 15:14Speaker 1: wife at the time, Man, I don't know, but if
- 15:15Speaker 1: it gets real serious, like a sinus infection, we may
- 15:18Speaker 1: have to Are we going to trust the medicine? My
- 15:22Speaker 1: wife is here live, do you remember, you know, like
- 15:24Speaker 1: ten years ago, every time we were doing the natural
- 15:28Speaker 1: thing and me kind of like biting my nails and goe,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and I felt like I was playing God with my kids.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I was really nervous about a lot of us have
- 15:34Speaker 1: been there. You know where you're because you've been told
- 15:37Speaker 1: your whole life man, things like strep throat. And by
- 15:41Speaker 1: the way, if you're watching this program, this is not
- 15:43Speaker 1: a blanket statement to go on Google and find some
- 15:45Speaker 1: natural treatment for something and then ignore all allopathic insight.
- 15:50Speaker 1: What I would encourage you to do is find an
- 15:52Speaker 1: intelligent practitioner, somebody like Adrinda Smith or a Jamie Woodle
- 15:56Speaker 1: that can walk you through how to do this safely
- 15:58Speaker 1: and properly. But my family are enormous fans of avoiding
- 16:03Speaker 1: all of the antibiotics at all juncture if we can.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You know, there are emergencies. If you're in a car accident,
- 16:11Speaker 1: part of the radiator fluid flies through your thyroid and
- 16:13Speaker 1: it's in your bloodstream. Probably should get on emergency care
- 16:17Speaker 1: right now, Probably an ivy drip of antibiotics.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Well, I know, when I was on my own health
- 16:23Speaker 3: journey after my big event, that was my watershed moment,
- 16:28Speaker 3: I did all of the allopathic testing. I went to
- 16:31Speaker 3: my doctors and we did all the blood tannels and
- 16:34Speaker 3: all the allergy testing, and there were no answers, like,
- 16:38Speaker 3: we don't see anything here. You look perfectly happy. For years,
- 16:42Speaker 3: and I had, along my journey, developed some strange symptoms
- 16:46Speaker 3: like dropping glasses randomly, falling asleep and jerking awake and
- 16:50Speaker 3: having insomnia. Because of that, my body would not let
- 16:52Speaker 3: me sleep, and I would go to the doctor I
- 16:55Speaker 3: had horrible cystic acne, and I would ask my physician
- 17:00Speaker 3: who cared and wanted to help. And I brought up
- 17:03Speaker 3: the idea of food sensitivity testing. Could there be maybe
- 17:07Speaker 3: some allergies or lesser sensitivities that are causing inflammation and
- 17:12Speaker 3: causing some of these weird anomalistic issues. And you know,
- 17:17Speaker 3: the response was, well, probably not. We'll send you to
- 17:21Speaker 3: a dermatologist, and if that doesn't work, then maybe the
- 17:25Speaker 3: next thing we would look into would be an endocrinologist.
- 17:28Speaker 3: And I just in my heart, I knew. I went
- 17:33Speaker 3: to the dermatologist and they wanted to put me on
- 17:35Speaker 3: antibiotics and topical antibiotics, and I knew right away I
- 17:38Speaker 3: was not going to do that. They gave me some medicine.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I think it was a very strong retinal made my
- 17:44Speaker 3: skin weep and break out. It was weeping and breaking
- 17:48Speaker 3: out and oozing, and so I just knew. I went
- 17:53Speaker 3: online and I paid out of pocket to have a
- 17:55Speaker 3: comprehensive food sensitivity test. And this was an IgG test,
- 18:00Speaker 3: which is very controversial and maybe in another show will
- 18:03Speaker 3: go deeper into that. But when I got the results back,
- 18:07Speaker 3: and there were twenty six foods that flagged that my
- 18:11Speaker 3: body was reacting to because of leaky gut, which I
- 18:13Speaker 3: had to work on healing. When I took those away
- 18:17Speaker 3: in three weeks, all of my symptoms were gone, all
- 18:20Speaker 3: of them except the acne, which takes about three months.
- 18:23Speaker 3: It takes time for your skin to renew. And so
- 18:27Speaker 3: having said that, a lot of people I think probably
- 18:30Speaker 3: have had all the tests done and maybe weren't given
- 18:34Speaker 3: a lot of answers or hope. When someone comes to
- 18:37Speaker 3: see a holistic practitioner, what kind of tests should they expect?
- 18:42Speaker 3: How can they get help?
- 18:44Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, first, the first thing that people should expect
- 18:48Speaker 2: is a really good long consults where we're going to
- 18:54Speaker 2: sit down and we're going to actually listen to the
- 18:56Speaker 2: person and we're going to hear all of your fears
- 19:01Speaker 2: and your worries and your symptoms and how long this
- 19:04Speaker 2: has been going on, and all your gut feelings about
- 19:09Speaker 2: what you think is causing the problem, and we're going
- 19:12Speaker 2: to really take all of that into consideration before we
- 19:17Speaker 2: even start recommending any kind of testing or any kind
- 19:21Speaker 2: of recommendations whatsoever. Everybody needs a good diet to start with,
- 19:26Speaker 2: and really, if people, if people are willing to do
- 19:31Speaker 2: the diet, then they're probably going to be willing to
- 19:33Speaker 2: do some testing if they need it. Now. I am
- 19:37Speaker 2: a big, big, big fan of genetic testing. And the
- 19:42Speaker 2: reason why I am is because of what I've learned
- 19:45Speaker 2: along the way. I didn't start off this way, but
- 19:48Speaker 2: what I've learned is that yes, the Lord does give
- 19:52Speaker 2: each and every one of us a certain hand to play.
- 19:56Speaker 2: You know, we're playing rummy, right, you know, we've got
- 19:59Speaker 2: our hand to play. People who develop chronic illnesses, and
- 20:03Speaker 2: especially people who develop autoimmune disease. We've known back from
- 20:07Speaker 2: when I was in school that yeah, there is a
- 20:10Speaker 2: specific genetic predisposition and set of different predispositions that lead
- 20:16Speaker 2: us to being able to develop those diseases. But here's
- 20:21Speaker 2: the thing that people don't know. You have total control
- 20:26Speaker 2: over the way your genes express, total control pretty much. Okay,
- 20:33Speaker 2: your genes express differently every thirty seconds, every thirty seconds,
- 20:38Speaker 2: and your disease is based on anywhere from two to
- 20:43Speaker 2: ten percent only of your genetics. Now that's a big deal. Okay,
- 20:49Speaker 2: two to ten percent is a big deal. If you're
- 20:51Speaker 2: constantly doing something that you don't even know you're doing,
- 20:54Speaker 2: that are causing your genes to express in a degenerative way,
- 20:59Speaker 2: then yes, you will be causing your own illness without
- 21:01Speaker 2: even knowing it. And that's why genetic testing is important.
- 21:06Speaker 2: And I honestly believe that we should do them on
- 21:07Speaker 2: little babies and let mama's and daddies know that, Oh,
- 21:13Speaker 2: here's your baby's cards to play. Here's how you mitigate
- 21:18Speaker 2: and teach the baby how to take care of their
- 21:20Speaker 2: bodies so that then they're not going to grow up
- 21:23Speaker 2: to have autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses. Yeah, and so
- 21:33Speaker 2: I love starting off with a good genetics panel. They're
- 21:36Speaker 2: not that expensive, Okay, yes, people can't afford them. And
- 21:42Speaker 2: then you know the cards, and what those cards tell
- 21:45Speaker 2: you is how to take care of your particular body,
- 21:48Speaker 2: the body that God gave you. And that can be
- 21:52Speaker 2: done through lifestyle practices, through supplements, through nutrition especially, right,
- 21:58Speaker 2: and you know that eight are a thing that you have.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Just eat your broccoli sprouts. I mean it's a beautiful thing, right,
- 22:08Speaker 2: broccoli sprouts or any kind of vitamin or supplement that
- 22:12Speaker 2: has some extra methylated B vitamins in them. If people
- 22:16Speaker 2: can tolerate those, great, Right. So you're not broken just
- 22:20Speaker 2: because you have a particular genetic predisposition. You just have
- 22:25Speaker 2: to know how to play your cards, right. And so
- 22:29Speaker 2: what did God say in Hosea? He said knowledge is power,
- 22:34Speaker 2: and my people die from lack of knowledge. And so
- 22:38Speaker 2: if God's science has given us a way to look
- 22:42Speaker 2: inside of our own nucleus and see how our genes
- 22:45Speaker 2: are expressing based on our choices, then shouldn't we have
- 22:52Speaker 2: that knowledge. Shouldn't we be able to play those cards
- 22:56Speaker 2: in a better way?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Right?
- 22:58Speaker 2: And so I love to start with genetics. Then I
- 23:02Speaker 2: want to see how we were talking about before, how
- 23:05Speaker 2: the basis of getting healthy is first making sure that
- 23:09Speaker 2: your cells have everything that they need. You got to
- 23:11Speaker 2: bring that up and at the same time bringing down
- 23:15Speaker 2: the toxins So the next two tests that are pretty
- 23:19Speaker 2: important for most people is first we got to see
- 23:22Speaker 2: if your cells have everything they need. And you can
- 23:25Speaker 2: do that now. It takes about three weeks to get
- 23:27Speaker 2: the results back. Yes, it's gonna cost you a little
- 23:30Speaker 2: bit of money, but that's gonna save you a lot
- 23:32Speaker 2: of heartache and a lot of suffering down the line.
- 23:36Speaker 3: A lot of money spent on supplements.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Exactly, people weighe so much money just throwing spaghetti at
- 23:44Speaker 2: the wall. Let's try this, Let's try that, and instead
- 23:47Speaker 2: spend a little money up front on a good solid tesla.
- 23:51Speaker 2: You can see exactly what's happening inside the cell right now.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Then use the foods, the life style practices, and if
- 24:01Speaker 2: you need them, supplements, which most people do need supplements.
- 24:04Speaker 2: We do live in a toxic soup, okay, So supplements
- 24:07Speaker 2: are important. They help people to heal faster, okay. And
- 24:11Speaker 2: so then you use those things in order to bring
- 24:16Speaker 2: the cellular function up. And then the next test, of course,
- 24:20Speaker 2: would be a really good toxicity panel, and of that
- 24:25Speaker 2: has it's a good one, yes, And really, now, of
- 24:28Speaker 2: course you would expect me to say this being an aminotoxicologist,
- 24:32Speaker 2: but this is just a fact of science, okay, And
- 24:34Speaker 2: even your doctor will tell you that, look, the more
- 24:38Speaker 2: toxins you get, the sicker you are, Okay, and this
- 24:41Speaker 2: is just logic. And so knowing where your toxic level
- 24:47Speaker 2: is is very very important. And the various different types
- 24:51Speaker 2: of toxins that you have absorbed over time, probably because
- 24:56Speaker 2: you have an MTHF or you have some other genetic predispositions,
- 25:00Speaker 2: so you know' detox these things out as well. These
- 25:03Speaker 2: are the people that get the sickest. And so being
- 25:06Speaker 2: able to see what those toxins are, where their levels are,
- 25:10Speaker 2: and then being able to say, okay, if you've got
- 25:16Speaker 2: really high mold inside your cells, you don't want to
- 25:21Speaker 2: play around with that. You have to then discover how
- 25:24Speaker 2: are you absorbing that mold? Are you living in a
- 25:26Speaker 2: moldy environment? Yeah, and you have to get rid of
- 25:30Speaker 2: that because mold, Michael toxins are very very inflammatory. They
- 25:35Speaker 2: will make you extremely sick. Or if you're getting exposed
- 25:39Speaker 2: to arsenic or other heavy metals. You have to be
- 25:42Speaker 2: able to determine how am I getting these? You know,
- 25:45Speaker 2: maybe it's through my water, or maybe it's through the
- 25:47Speaker 2: food that I'm eating. Okay, Well then let's adjust. It
- 25:51Speaker 2: doesn't have to be perfect, and people don't People don't
- 25:53Speaker 2: have to be afraid of this. It's not that hard.
- 25:57Speaker 2: You really can adjust, and you can get those toxins
- 26:00Speaker 2: out of your life. And if you need to do
- 26:03Speaker 2: specific protocols to move specifically targetedly, that's right, moving those
- 26:08Speaker 2: toxins out of your body slowly and carefully.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And we don't have time today to get into, you know,
- 26:13Speaker 1: keylation therapy. And but I will tell you that what
- 26:16Speaker 1: I've said in the past on this program about shotgun
- 26:18Speaker 1: blast liverty toxes, they may help you, but if you
- 26:21Speaker 1: have a specific like aluminum overload, you're going to have
- 26:26Speaker 1: to do some kind of keylation. You're going to have
- 26:28Speaker 1: to do something that binders and removes because a lot
- 26:30Speaker 1: of what would normally just support the liver isn't going
- 26:33Speaker 1: to specifically deal with that metal overload.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and so the important thing is is that most
- 26:38Speaker 2: people will jump straight to the detox or if they
- 26:40Speaker 2: find out they have lime disease or any kind of
- 26:42Speaker 2: a chronic infection that's creating a lot of toxic overload,
- 26:46Speaker 2: most people will want to jump directly to killing whatever
- 26:50Speaker 2: that bacteria is. And we cannot do that. You cannot
- 26:54Speaker 2: jump into a battle without having armor, without having guns.
- 27:02Speaker 2: You have to make sure that your cells have everything
- 27:04Speaker 2: they need to do that work first. So I want
- 27:08Speaker 2: to really caution people, be very very careful what you
- 27:11Speaker 2: see online and oh the seven day detalks, at thirty
- 27:14Speaker 2: day de talks, whatever, Please don't do that until you
- 27:17Speaker 2: know whether your cells have everything they need to fight
- 27:20Speaker 2: that battle.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Which brings me to something I must say to buttress
- 27:23Speaker 1: something that you, as the viewer, may be wondering. Well,
- 27:26Speaker 1: I've had my genetic test and I'm still a mess.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I'm going to say this very quickly. One of the
- 27:30Speaker 1: reasons that I was not a big fan early on
- 27:32Speaker 1: of genetic testing is because that's kind of what I
- 27:34Speaker 1: went through. I had three people look at my genetic
- 27:37Speaker 1: tests and all of them did the standard, well you
- 27:40Speaker 1: need methyl foll eight, you don't have enough B twelve,
- 27:42Speaker 1: and I could not deal with methyl fol late.
- 27:45Speaker 2: It can give people anxiety attack.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Anxiety frame fog. It made things worse, and I had
- 27:50Speaker 1: what I call methyl mountain for like thirty days. I
- 27:52Speaker 1: thought I was fixed, and then my body starts. So
- 27:54Speaker 1: here's what I want to say. This is the whole point,
- 27:57Speaker 1: the whole show. Are you ready when I say that
- 27:59Speaker 1: I'm become being persuaded that I am more open than
- 28:02Speaker 1: I was a decade ago to genetic testing. It's this caveat.
- 28:06Speaker 1: It's in the hands of somebody like a Drenda Smith. Yes,
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm not saying that just because she's here and we're
- 28:11Speaker 1: celebrating Drinda today. I'm saying if you have access to
- 28:14Speaker 1: someone who is qualified to tailor a plan for you,
- 28:18Speaker 1: then yes, a genetic test can be profound shotgun blasting
- 28:23Speaker 1: one through popular websites online promising you that your genetics
- 28:27Speaker 1: can be you know, whipper snappered with a little profile
- 28:29Speaker 1: with eight supplements that are going to have you may
- 28:32Speaker 1: find benefit from that, but don't be dreadfully discouraged when
- 28:36Speaker 1: you end up like I once was. Does that make sense?
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So if people are interested in getting a
- 28:45Speaker 2: good genetics panel run, I typically will recommend ordering it
- 28:51Speaker 2: through three x four Genetics. You can look online. You
- 28:54Speaker 2: can understand all about them. The father of functional medicine,
- 28:58Speaker 2: Jeffrey Bland, sits on their advice reboard. It's very comprehensive,
- 29:03Speaker 2: it is user friendly. However, you really should have an
- 29:08Speaker 2: expert look at it and help you to do everything
- 29:12Speaker 2: that you need to do to help your genetics to
- 29:15Speaker 2: express properly. And then here at our clinic that's the
- 29:19Speaker 2: Cellular Healing and Longevity Center, we have all the advanced
- 29:24Speaker 2: testing available and we order it for you and then
- 29:28Speaker 2: we make sure that you have a good consultation so
- 29:31Speaker 2: that you can understand your testing. We also have a
- 29:36Speaker 2: program that we're doing that really helps people just to
- 29:40Speaker 2: get started with their baby steps, and it's an entire
- 29:44Speaker 2: program to help you get your energy back, to help
- 29:47Speaker 2: you get started with a lot of the free and
- 29:50Speaker 2: very simple things that people can do to just get
- 29:54Speaker 2: their confidence back and just to start understanding that you
- 29:57Speaker 2: can feel better, you can move the needle, you can
- 30:00Speaker 2: get better results, and so they can go to our
- 30:04Speaker 2: website at riseheel Challenge dot com.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Well again, ladies and gentlemen, I can be a fan
- 30:09Speaker 1: of genetic testing. In the right hands, Direnda Smith, the
- 30:13Speaker 1: right hands. Unfortunately, we're all out of time for everybody
- 30:21Speaker 1: here in panel. Jamie, Direnda, thank you so much for
- 30:24Speaker 1: being here with us again. You'll have to come back
- 30:26Speaker 1: and do more programs with us in the future. We
- 30:29Speaker 1: got to pick that wonderful brain of yours some more.
- 30:32Speaker 1: We definitely will be doing that.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I'd love to.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I'm Joe artist Horn. Keep your eyes on the prize,
- 30:40Speaker 1: which is Jesus Christ. We'll be back.
