- 1:57Get over here. What was that?
- 2:03I don't. Know how the hands are too?
- 2:04I thought we were doing Scorpion Doctor Strange.
- 2:10So anyways, story time. Yeah, I was mowing my lawn this
- 2:14week. Which once you have kids.
- 2:18Yeah, I love mowing the lawn. Mowing the lawn's great.
- 2:21I don't have a yard. Yeah, one of these days.
- 2:24Sorry. I mean, you got kids.
- 2:26Kids. Do.
- 2:27Yeah, Yeah. Well.
- 2:28Mowing the lawn's sick. Once you have a family, I don't
- 2:30know what it is. It's like I'm crafting an area,
- 2:33you know, for everyone to play anyways, so I'm mowing the lawn
- 2:37shirtless. I want to throw that in there.
- 2:38Just working on my tan. Calm down.
- 2:40Yeah, keep it in your pants, everybody.
- 2:43And I'm in my front yard and I feel like I'm tearing it up,
- 2:46like doing a good job. With, yeah, literally because
- 2:48you're mowing the lawn. Thanks.
- 2:53Thank you, Matt. Go ahead.
- 2:55OK. So anyways, I'm doing a great
- 2:56job with. That we're like cutting it up.
- 3:01Thank you, Matt. Why do they keep clapping for
- 3:04that? What's up?
- 3:05So doing a great job. Why do they keep clapping?
- 3:07Because I keep hitting. Thank you, Matt.
- 3:11So. So left it in, made a kid.
- 3:16Alright, go ahead. So.
- 3:18I'm mowing the lawn, feel like I'm doing a good job and I
- 3:21noticed a gentleman who is obviously hired to mow someone.
- 3:26Else's lawn. Oh, I see.
- 3:27Yeah, yeah, yeah, this guy was. What do you think this guy
- 3:30probably sounded like? Hey, buddy.
- 3:33Oh, OK. You're going that way?
- 3:35Yeah. He.
- 3:35Didn't he didn't talk to me in English when I I don't.
- 3:38Do the hey. Wrong.
- 3:43What is this? Go ahead.
- 3:46So. It'll be so funny whenever none
- 3:49of those. Oh my gosh, how?
- 3:50Did I make a stop? Joe now they're just doing both.
- 3:53Josh it'll be so funny whenever none of these actually get
- 3:57recorded. So we're just reacting to.
- 4:00Non. Yes, you can always just hit it
- 4:04again. That's good to know.
- 4:05So he comes over to me, doesn't say a word, and hands me his
- 4:09business card for his lawn mowing service.
- 4:12Yikes. Made me rethink everything about
- 4:15like I thought I was doing a good job with.
- 4:17Like this gringo. He's like, this guy is screwing
- 4:20everything. So put me in a vortex.
- 4:22I finished the lawn, of course, but I'm having like, I'm second
- 4:26guessing my landscaping abilities, which just is never
- 4:29fun, you know, You just never want to be in that spot.
- 4:31I suppose, yeah. I mean, I've always so I grew up
- 4:34in a big hire a couple dudes to come take care of the yard
- 4:39family. Yeah, that was.
- 4:40I don't really like my dad definitely like his like mowed
- 4:42the lawn and he had he at one point whenever we had a bigger
- 4:45yard, he had like a ride on lawnmower and it was the coolest
- 4:48thing. In the that's pretty, that's
- 4:49pretty safe. Especially, like, up north,
- 4:50whenever it, like, feels good. More time out of the year.
- 4:52And you can actually, like, not just hate yourself while doing
- 4:55that. One time, very quick story time.
- 4:57My dad down here in Texas rode over like a underground Hornet
- 5:02wasp hive. No way.
- 5:04Yeah. And one day we were like looking
- 5:06out the front yard. We were like, why is Dad just
- 5:07sitting there? And he's like swatting away.
- 5:09And we're like, oh, no. And then we go out there and
- 5:12he's like, get inside, get inside.
- 5:14Like he's just getting gunned down.
- 5:18Yeah, he got stung up, stung up something rough.
- 5:20But that's a that's a crazy story.
- 5:23So you were outside mowing your yard.
- 5:26And then let me just see if I shirt this right.
- 5:28You're outside shirtless, bricked up on a Sunday
- 5:31afternoon. And no.
- 5:32Well, middle-aged Hispanic man comes by and goes, ODA Levato,
- 5:36you ain't. I'm doing so hot.
- 5:40He pulls it out of his utility belt and he's like, here, hire
- 5:43me and. Then he went back to mowing the
- 5:45lawn like he stopped mowing lawn mow of the other house.
- 5:48Oh my God. So he felt like this was urgent.
- 5:50So he was like. He's like, oh, here's a good
- 5:56opportunity. Yeah, I threw that car in the
- 5:58trash. Why?
- 6:00Because I I can mow my lawn. Like this is do you know what?
- 6:03Motivation. Do you know what lawns he does?
- 6:07That's actually a good point. Yeah, I do.
- 6:09So you should be. I need to look at that loan and
- 6:10be like can I do better than this?
- 6:12Yeah, you need to be like like scoping out his moves and stuff.
- 6:14Would have like a magnifying glass just like laying down on
- 6:17the street of what that excuse me.
- 6:19Sorry about that, just something coming out of me.
- 6:21That's alright. That's the moment you know this
- 6:25literally the most like couple of white dudes just chumming it
- 6:27up podcast. Would you just burp right into
- 6:29the? Oh dude, you know we we're just
- 6:31a couple of whites that don't. Get and then in in a week, we're
- 6:33going to look at each other. Why?
- 6:35Why is our female demographic so low?
- 6:37Yeah, how come 4 ladies listen to how?
- 6:39Come, it's only 2% of our listeners.
- 6:41And half of them are married to us.
- 6:43That's actually, yeah. A great point.
- 6:44It could be all of them, but we're not Mormons.
- 6:46No, dude, you're sick in the world.
- 6:49It's so funny us having you know what's so funny is we have like
- 6:543 clips from the Witnesses episode which has already been
- 6:56out way definitely by the time you see this.
- 6:59We put out the initial clip which is 100% the most middle of
- 7:04the road post. Yeah, it's not like it's nothing
- 7:07crazy. Commentary on anything.
- 7:08It's just like, hey, here's something that happened.
- 7:10You just talk about like a a story with Joseph Smith, which
- 7:15is so funny because you can tell and it's the same way with like
- 7:18people of the number 2 religion of the world.
- 7:20Whenever you post something about them, you know, it gets
- 7:23sent to like a bunch of group chats and then you have just all
- 7:26the standard like influencers just coming in and being like,
- 7:30oh, would you get in load of this guy?
- 7:31And it's like, shut up. Nobody cares.
- 7:33Like so one of the guys commented, Josh has the like,
- 7:38what do you say? Like the intellectual capability
- 7:39of a potato. Yeah, You know, in this same guy
- 7:42as the guy that I had the 2 hour discussion with and then he
- 7:45conveniently lost the footage to all of our discussion.
- 7:47Can we say his name? Yeah.
- 7:48Yeah. King Mosiah.
- 7:49King Mosiah. Interesting.
- 7:50Which I'm sure if I was a Mormon, great guy, sure, you
- 7:54know, but I'm not. So it's like they, I bet they
- 7:56love him. They do.
- 7:57Well, they especially love him because he's not just another
- 7:59white guy. They're like, thank God.
- 8:03Yeah, dude. Anyway, not to talk about the
- 8:05Mormons too much, but you know what man?
- 8:07What's up To talk about something, you know, talk about
- 8:10like white guys, politics. We're running for office.
- 8:14Hey, that's something we've genuinely talked about.
- 8:16We should, should we ever expose that like that plan?
- 8:20What? What better time than now?
- 8:22What better time than now? Am I right people?
- 8:25We're running for office, so maybe Texans whenever you go to
- 8:28votes Taylor, Rico or Paxton just right in binge look for.
- 8:32J&G Yeah, Josh and the. Jim, we're like a duo.
- 8:35Yeah, tag teaming the Well, hold on, I was gonna say tag teaming
- 8:39the mayor. No, that's not good.
- 8:41We're a couple of goofy goobers, but we can also be a little bit
- 8:45of. Serious.
- 8:46I mean, we're 18. Let's finish the vote.
- 8:48Goofy goober. Serious, serious snakes.
- 8:51That's not good. Yeah.
- 8:53You don't want to be a snake. In office black snake moan
- 8:57previous episode ball knowers. You know there are people who
- 8:59have like watched every episode, people who have like repeated
- 9:03episodes already. Why?
- 9:05What do you have to do? You get something to do Not
- 9:09good. I'm going to take these rings
- 9:10off because they're they're loud.
- 9:11You know I've told you about my spoon rings before, right?
- 9:13Your spoon rings. I have rings, they're both of my
- 9:16pinky rings that are made of like the stems of spoons and I
- 9:22like them. They're relatively cheap and
- 9:24they're also of a good size. Sorry, I mean, not that, not
- 9:29code, not that. Sorry you 2 please don't kill
- 9:33us. YouTube is that?
- 9:34Is that like a bleep word? Like, I know for a while, like,
- 9:36you literally couldn't say it, otherwise you'd get demonetized.
- 9:40You guys only do this for the money.
- 9:41Yeah, Yeah. That's why we have so many
- 9:43sponsors and merch, gosh. Dang it, I'm trying to pull up
- 9:47the the citizenship I want. I want to see before we talk
- 9:51politics. Let me go back into that 'cause
- 9:52I didn't even get to finish. Oh yeah, you pull up this Dang
- 9:55thing. Look, being people online who
- 9:58share their opinion on a myriad of things, people eventually ask
- 10:02our opinion on like the hottest subject in America, which is
- 10:06politics. And me and Josh aren't both like
- 10:09I. I really do feel like like if
- 10:11you took a second watched enough of our content, especially this
- 10:14Dang podcast, and you were like, I wonder what they think about
- 10:17you could probably figure it out, but.
- 10:20You know it's your context. Just so that people have like a
- 10:22thing they can go to. We're just gonna make this
- 10:24episode the one with politics or whatever.
- 10:27We whatever. Mid terms coming up.
- 10:28We feel like it's timely. Let's let's just put it all out
- 10:31there. Yeah, let's just give our exact
- 10:34beliefs. Why not like good terms?
- 10:36Why mid? You'll have to ask Jesus is he
- 10:41was Jesus? Frankly, was Jesus the first
- 10:44politician? He was a great guy.
- 10:46No, I'm saying. There were politicians.
- 10:48He was performing miracles. It was welfare in my opinion.
- 10:51I. Wouldn't I think you might be if
- 10:55you think what was Jesus the first politician so we came to?
- 11:00But we can say is that, Oh no, is that where we're?
- 11:05Oh man, whoopsie dudes. I had a post one time where I
- 11:08said sorry if I was doing the thing where it's like.
- 11:11Yeah, when you said the N word, I remember.
- 11:12That Nope, Nope, I didn't do that.
- 11:14I didn't do that. And you?
- 11:15Deleted it 'cause I. Don't want people to see it.
- 11:17Boo this dude. Here we go.
- 11:19That works too. No, no, I, I, I was, I was in
- 11:24the midst of like a couple of rough days and I had posted some
- 11:27probably like real sorrowful posts and I literally just came
- 11:31out of it and I was like, hey, turns out the world wasn't
- 11:35ending. I'm just something and
- 11:37restarted, which is a typical online thing for not wanting to
- 11:40say the R word like I just did, which whoopsie Daisy.
- 11:45And a lot of people got upset, which I understand, but it
- 11:50happens. Just feels like there's more
- 11:51things going on in the world. You know what I mean?
- 11:52There's literally, like, I don't know, an island full of satanic
- 11:55pedophiles who steal children and then, like, eat them and do
- 11:58horrific things to them, but you're going to be mad at me
- 12:00over a word? A word like Microsoft.
- 12:04Are you kidding me? Yeah, come on.
- 12:05Yeah, I bet you are Microsoft, whereas we are Josh, pointing to
- 12:09the wall. Bricks up, bricks up.
- 12:15Anyhow, this is off to an Immaculate start.
- 12:17I must say this might be so. All that to say, I love it.
- 12:20This is my favorite episode ever.
- 12:22All that to say, politics. Politics.
- 12:24Yeah, Let's talk. I want to 1st give our viewers
- 12:28an idea of the validity because people want to know that they're
- 12:32hearing about politics from a very educated source.
- 12:34So I was like, OK, what better way to show them that we're
- 12:37educated than have you passed a citizenship test with flying
- 12:41colors just so people can be like, Oh, yeah, he's an American
- 12:43citizen. Flying colors, Yeah, OK.
- 12:46I mean, we'll see. What what does that qualify?
- 12:48Like a 70. Yeah, I think.
- 12:50It's I was a real 70 kid. Well then that's perfect.
- 12:53That's what you need to pass. I bet, I bet you got good grades
- 12:55right in school and stuff. Yeah, for sure.
- 12:57My parents would have killed me if I wanted.
- 12:58Well, my parents, I think in a certain point now, whatever, I
- 13:02don't want to derail it too much.
- 13:03I was really like a getting by kid.
- 13:05Yeah, because I was, I was too much of a class clown.
- 13:07They say the real intellectuals don't do well in school, but the
- 13:10interstellar kids they like. Start like successful businesses
- 13:14like Steve Jobs, the interstellar dig.
- 13:16I just know what's up. Just that.
- 13:18I bet, I bet it took a minute. OK, here you go.
- 13:21First question. Time.
- 13:22Yeah, Go ahead, go ahead. Murph.
- 13:25No, Murph, Not the citizenship test.
- 13:27Murph. Murph.
- 13:28Ben, what does the Constitution do?
- 13:31A protect individual states from federal overreach and taxation.
- 13:36B declares independence from Great Britain and establishes
- 13:39foreign alliances. C sets up the government,
- 13:42defines the government, and protects the basic rights of
- 13:44Americans. Or D establishes the national
- 13:46banking and federal tax collection collection systems.
- 13:49The Constitution. The Constitution is it C.
- 13:53That is correct. Thank goodness dude, I didn't
- 13:57know. What?
- 13:58I thought we're done, right? That's it.
- 14:01No. Oh, OK.
- 14:02I hate to break it. I didn't know what I thought
- 14:03this is in ship test would be. I should have thought it'd be
- 14:06things to do with the government.
- 14:07As soon as you were like, what does the Constitution do?
- 14:10I thought you wanted me to answer that.
- 14:12Like just tell me. Yeah, open book test.
- 14:14Yeah, yeah. OK.
- 14:15Sorry. Go ahead.
- 14:15Question two. What stops 1 branch of
- 14:17government from becoming too powerful?
- 14:19Checks and balances and separation of powers.
- 14:22The absolute authority of the military over civilian agencies.
- 14:25The veto power held exclusively by state governors over federal
- 14:28laws. Direct democracy Referendums
- 14:31mandated for every federal decision.
- 14:34It's the first one, right? Checks and.
- 14:36Powers, that is correct. Oh.
- 14:37Thank God you just might be a citizen after I might.
- 14:39Yeah. Born and bred.
- 14:42Yeah. Which is OK, like you don't have
- 14:44to whatever. Wait.
- 14:47Why did you bring food into it? You said bread, what does it
- 14:51have to do with anything? Wow.
- 14:53Really. Oh, just because.
- 14:54Oh, just be. This is literally all you.
- 14:56Start taking Ozempic and now I can't talk about bread.
- 14:59This is. This is literally I'm dying.
- 15:01This is this is literally all muscle and bone and you know.
- 15:04That I know. OK, go ahead.
- 15:06Under the US Constitution, how many voting members are in the
- 15:10House of Representatives? 51 hundred 270, 435 Stop
- 15:17helping. Oh, Matt, he's got.
- 15:19He's got to do. This wait under the I'm sorry.
- 15:21House of Representatives, How many voting members 5100?
- 15:25Two, 7435. I hate that 'cause I genuinely
- 15:29do want to guess this and I hate that he like, raised up his
- 15:31hand. Is it 270?
- 15:34No, I'm sorry. It's 435.
- 15:38Really. Dang, I don't know this stuff.
- 15:41I'm done. I hate to break it to you.
- 15:42You're 66% right now. Let's.
- 15:45Get the next. One who is in charge of the
- 15:46executive branch, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court,
- 15:50the president, the speaker of the.
- 15:52House, the president. That is correct, Ben.
- 15:56Look at you go, we're passing again.
- 15:57Type, type. Yeah, couple more, 75%, thank
- 16:01God. What is 1 Responsibility that is
- 16:03strictly limited to United States citizens?
- 16:07Pay federal income taxes? Obey the laws of the nation.
- 16:10Vote in a federal election. Attend public school board
- 16:14meetings. Wait, what?
- 16:16Sorry the question again. What is 1 Responsibility that is
- 16:19strictly limited to United States citizens?
- 16:22Read the first 2 again. Pay federal income taxes.
- 16:25Obey the laws of the nation. The second one or is it the?
- 16:30Taxes. I'm so sorry.
- 16:31It's taxes. It's actually vote in a federal
- 16:34election. One of the responsibilities.
- 16:36That's strictly limited. Strictly limited.
- 16:38Oh yeah, 'cause you don't have to be a citizen to like, obey
- 16:41the laws and that. Dang it.
- 16:44OK. Oh, this is not looking good.
- 16:47Am I three out of five? You are.
- 16:49Yep, 3 out of 60%. Yeah.
- 16:50How many more questions are there?
- 16:524. Come on, let's go.
- 16:53Here we go. Let's go.
- 16:54I'm locking. In Why did the American
- 16:56colonists fight the British? Because of high taxes without
- 16:59political representation? Because Britain banned all
- 17:02religious practices in the colonies?
- 17:04Because the British crown tried to abolish property ownership?
- 17:08Because Britain allied with foreign empires against That's
- 17:10correct, that's correct, that's. Correct.
- 17:14OK, Cool cool cool, cool cool cool live.
- 17:16Studio Audience How many amendments does the US
- 17:19Constitution currently have? 10, 152127.
- 17:26Oh my gosh. I know it's not 10 or 15 because
- 17:32there's the last two are 21 or 27.
- 17:36Yeah, yeah. Freak.
- 17:39How many questions are there after this 2?
- 17:41Two. Yeah, this one's pretty.
- 17:42Bored. It's either 21 or 27 I.
- 17:46Was thinking. Is it?
- 17:48Oh my gosh, dude. Hello man, it's me.
- 17:50This is your conscience. Hey, Dave.
- 17:54Yeah. I'm here, Ben, do you want you
- 17:57want a lifeline I. Would like a lifeline.
- 17:59Well, I feel like OK. I'm not going to lie, I don't
- 18:01know the answer to this question, Dave.
- 18:02You are useless, you 4th dimensional.
- 18:04I tell you what, I'll give you a hint, OK?
- 18:07You got to think there's the 19th Amendment.
- 18:09I know that one because that's what gave women.
- 18:11Dave, if you manifested right now and beat the hell out of you
- 18:14so. If there's 19, it feels like
- 18:17there's probably 27 instead of 21, is my line of thinking,
- 18:21'cause we gave women the right to vote.
- 18:22'Cause that was a while ago, that was, yeah.
- 18:23But how many more amendments have we even added since then,
- 18:26Dave? It's been kind of crazy out
- 18:29here, Ben. We've probably had to.
- 18:30I'm not gonna lie, that is actually very convincing.
- 18:33Yeah, but does amendments. Son of a whatever, 27.
- 18:36I bet it's 21. Yep, it's 27.
- 18:38Let's. Go.
- 18:40No, I'm not gonna lie 'cause I was thinking the same thing
- 18:42about 'cause I know the one that the like alpha male dudes online
- 18:46are always Which, by the way, quick aside, have you heard
- 18:49about the clavicular stuff? No, you know who clavicular?
- 18:51Is he's the dude that's like looks maxing.
- 18:54Looks maxing bones maxing and stuff.
- 18:55Apparently me and my my dad actually told me about this
- 18:58apparently that he has like legitimate charges from like an
- 19:00underage girl. Of course, like, right, because
- 19:03it's crazy, it's weird. It's almost like everybody from
- 19:06like the alpha male red pill side almost always does weird
- 19:10stuff with. Kids, I want to know what
- 19:11happens, Ben because it feels like it's like not only that,
- 19:15but just people get to a point of notoriety and it's it's
- 19:18usually men. It's always men.
- 19:20It feels like in a switch flips in their brain that says, oh, I
- 19:24like girls that are under 18 now.
- 19:26Children just like children. Children in general, boys or
- 19:28girls, it really makes you look, I'm I'm not, I'm gonna say this
- 19:31and don't hear what I'm not saying.
- 19:33But people like Tiger Woods who just cheat on their wife with an
- 19:37adult. They we should, we should at the
- 19:40very least look at them be like, hey man, thanks for not.
- 19:43At least they. Were not like diddling a 12 year
- 19:44old like a lot of these freaks do.
- 19:46And again Tiger Woods bad guy for doing that bad thing also.
- 19:49I'm just saying. Glad he's not driving.
- 19:51Thank God, brother. Get out the car.
- 19:54Pick up one of these if I. Was the CEO of Uber.
- 19:57I would call Tiger Woods right now and say how much.
- 20:01Did he just get in trouble again?
- 20:02He, yeah, he got in trouble. He got his license revoked for
- 20:04five years. I would call him and say how
- 20:07much commercial. What is Tiger Woods net worth?
- 20:10Oh he he can afford yeah he's fine he's fine.
- 20:13OK, OK, OK anyway, yeah, I just wanted to point that out the
- 20:16Uber red like straight up this is legit 1.5 billion He can he
- 20:21probably already has a private driver.
- 20:23I would if I was him. There is this thing online where
- 20:27like, and I have a lot of them that follow me.
- 20:28God bless you all. But like if you and your bio you
- 20:31have like training young men to be better men.
- 20:35I kind of dude, I kind of don't trust you.
- 20:38Yep, just do that. You know what I mean?
- 20:40Or get a real. Job.
- 20:42OK, OK. Well, we're influencers, so
- 20:44people would tell us to do that. We also have real jobs.
- 20:46That's true, yeah. When I see that I'm like, what
- 20:48qualifies you? Like what life experience or
- 20:51training do you have to train young men?
- 20:53I just, for me, it's, it's in the same way like as as an
- 20:56influencer, if I had apologist in my thing, it'd be like, Oh my
- 21:00gosh, go blow yourself, you know what I mean?
- 21:02Like like literally, literally, but cut that.
- 21:05But at the same time, no, leave that in.
- 21:07I don't care. Leave it in.
- 21:09Cut that, leave it in. Made a kid type.
- 21:12Let's go. Doesn't matter.
- 21:13Let's get back to the test. OK, we have what, two more
- 21:15questions? Two more questions 2 or it says
- 21:178 out of 10. Oh well.
- 21:18What are two rights stated in the Declaration of Independence?
- 21:22I wish we had like who wants to be a millionaire music dude?
- 21:24Seriously, what are two rights? That's not good, dude.
- 21:33Oh, go. What are two rights state in the
- 21:34Declaration of Independence? Free public health care and
- 21:37guaranteed employment. Life and liberty, The right to
- 21:40bear arms and freedom of the press.
- 21:42Trial by jury and voting access for all adults.
- 21:46Wait, I'm sorry, what are the the rights guaranteed by the?
- 21:49What are two? Rights stated in the Declaration
- 21:52of Independence. Free public health care and
- 21:54guaranteed employment. Life and liberty, the right to
- 21:58bear arms and freedom of the press.
- 22:00Well, I'm trying to remember because there's the Bill of
- 22:02Rights and that's separate from the from the independence.
- 22:07That's so crazy. I'm a 29 year old man who has
- 22:11spent his entire life in the US. No, and I'm only saying this to
- 22:14say I flubbed on what the Declaration of Independence is
- 22:17called. I've seen national treasure so
- 22:19many times. Off the top of my head I want to
- 22:21say the life in liberty. Life in liberty.
- 22:24I want to say that but. That is correct because it's.
- 22:28Life in Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness, right?
- 22:30OK, great movie by the way. Pursuit of happiness.
- 22:33Oh my God. Saw it way too young and it's
- 22:35like so sad but also incredible. OK, I think we have two more
- 22:39now. OK, what is 1 important thing
- 22:41that Susan B Anthony did? Invented the first standardized
- 22:45public school curriculum. Signed the original Declaration
- 22:48of Independence. Fought for women's rights and
- 22:50suffrage. Led the Continental Continental
- 22:53Army during the Revolutionary War.
- 22:56I'm gonna feel like a real I I feel I kind of feel like a
- 22:59misogynist for definitely not picking some of these.
- 23:01Is it the third one? Woman suffrage.
- 23:03That is correct. Thank God.
- 23:05All right. OK.
- 23:07I mean you. Passed.
- 23:08We don't have to do the last one.
- 23:10What's the last one? Tell me the last one.
- 23:11OK, No, let's do it though I'm on a streak.
- 23:13Why does the American flag have 13 stripes?
- 23:16Because there were 13 original colonies to represent the 1st 13
- 23:19US presidents To symbolize the 13 major military battles?
- 23:21Because. There are 13 colonies 1. 80%,
- 23:25Ben, you get to be a citizen. We don't have to send you to
- 23:27Guatemala again. Let's go.
- 23:30Oh, hey, hey. Mino, so I stay.
- 23:33In Como say do you say? People funny, whatever.
- 23:38I don't know, I was trying to think of a Bad Bunny song, but I
- 23:40don't know, say Bad Bunny, dude. Talented.
- 23:44You talk about a talent like when I think of like Jamie Foxx
- 23:49for black people, Bad Bunny for Latinos, he's so talented, he
- 23:52can do it all. What, Jamie Foxx for black
- 23:55people is Bad Bunny for Latinos? Yeah, no.
- 23:59Is Jamie Foxx not the most talented I would say.
- 24:03Most talented women. Human but since I'm bringing it
- 24:06into race, is Jamie Foxx not the most talented black person Let's
- 24:08be like so for. Real.
- 24:09No, I don't think so. Also I but here's what I would
- 24:11also say. Jamie Foxx is also has the
- 24:13ability to be a great actor. I've never seen that from Badr.
- 24:18Sure, but being but doing multiple things isn't the same
- 24:21as somebody who's like, great at some of those things when.
- 24:23I think of talent. I think you can do a lot of
- 24:25things, yeah. But again, he's a good actor.
- 24:28But he's not like, have you? Have you seen Ray?
- 24:31There's no Bad Bunny version. Not yet.
- 24:33He could do it. Whatever.
- 24:34Yeah. He also does that stuff, which I
- 24:36hate. Like the people I, I don't know.
- 24:37And I know people, people like it because they like the
- 24:40celebrity. But like the Met Gala stuff
- 24:42where it's like, did you see where he went as like a 50 year
- 24:44old version of himself or like a 60 year old version?
- 24:46No, that's kind of crazy. Well, and it's like, hey, it's
- 24:48cool. He hired a whole team of people
- 24:50to do all these effect cool. I hate that.
- 24:52What are you doing? I hate the Met Gala.
- 24:54I hate all that stuff. I hate.
- 24:55I hate whenever people use those big events where they pay
- 24:57millions of dollars to like make a point.
- 25:00And it's always like some yeah, It's like, oh, wow, we're really
- 25:04going to end world hunger now because, yeah, you wore a
- 25:06$2,000,000 dress. Thank you.
- 25:08How much did the event cost? Yeah.
- 25:10Crazy. How about all these people that
- 25:11have so many Lord knows how many followers across all their
- 25:14social medias just encourage their followers.
- 25:16Hey, everybody give a dollar to this.
- 25:18No, it'll match. Sure.
- 25:21Yeah. Or or not even that.
- 25:22Just. Hey, do this.
- 25:23Yeah. You know how many people?
- 25:24Whatever. Anyway, let's get into politics.
- 25:27Let's. Get into politics man.
- 25:30I I think the thing that I hate most about politics right now is
- 25:35how freaking old they all are. Incredibly old like people are.
- 25:39Probably on Mitch McConnell, Mitch B, Mitch McConnell.
- 25:44Mitch. Hey, Mitch.
- 25:46Mitch, Mitch, you all right? You doing all right, man?
- 25:52You do. Oh, OK.
- 25:53Well, that's actually a decent bit.
- 25:54No, Mitch. No, no, Mitch.
- 25:57Put it down, bitch, put it down. You got some cavities, huh?
- 26:03Yeah, you got grey teeth. No, you don't have grey teeth.
- 26:08I say great. Oh, great.
- 26:09I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 26:10Never mind. I really wasn't trying to make
- 26:13that anything. I was just joking.
- 26:14No, you're good. You're good.
- 26:15Thanks, man. It's fine.
- 26:16I'm going to the dentist tomorrow.
- 26:17Whatever. Yeah, whatever.
- 26:18No, but they're they're. So old, like I've told you guys,
- 26:21like the, the, the night that Eli was conceived was the night
- 26:24of the, the Biden Trump debate and.
- 26:26I still just don't watch for because it was so.
- 26:29Comical, like we were dying laughing just out of sheer like
- 26:34holy cow, like this is our situation.
- 26:36Like the leader of the free world and the leader of our
- 26:37nation. For sure.
- 26:39We're we're choosing between coughing baby and coughing baby.
- 26:41Yes, yes, yes, they're both. There's no nuclear balls.
- 26:44There's no nuclear balls. Well, you know what's great
- 26:46actually is that both coughing babies have the access to all
- 26:49the nuclear. Balls.
- 26:50That's perfect. It's great.
- 26:51That's exactly. What we want.
- 26:52It's so beautiful. Yeah.
- 26:53I just want to know like, OK, I feel like that night, Matt, I'd
- 26:56like, 'cause you're, you're like a regular person who look looked
- 26:59at me sideways whenever he did that on the night of that, it
- 27:03reminds me, yes, we are. Are we sex shaming?
- 27:06Yes, OK, It reminds me of in movies, how many situations?
- 27:09No, no, that's mine. Oh my gosh, how many situations
- 27:15in movies for some reason and in sex, whether it be like an
- 27:18argument or like whatever thing, and then all of a sudden people
- 27:21are just like the idea of you and your wife.
- 27:25You guys are married then. Yeah, the idea of this.
- 27:29We had our we, we had our second child in marriage in our first.
- 27:36I want to confirm I don't. Know what I'm I don't know what
- 27:40I'm on in the night, but no. But the idea that you guys are
- 27:43sitting there and you're like the state of this country's
- 27:46crazy, just just just dog it out.
- 27:50Laughter. Hey.
- 27:52Laughter is a great aphrodisiac, let's be honest.
- 27:54Not in my house. In my house we schedule sex.
- 27:58And you say? Ma'am 837 on the dot assume.
- 28:08No. Go ahead, say whatever you I
- 28:12was. Gonna say pee pee hard.
- 28:18Hey, thanks so much for listening to the pod.
- 28:21We really appreciate it. Hope you guys are enjoying it.
- 28:23And if you are, consider going to joshandthegiant.com, checking
- 28:27out our merch, and potentially becoming a member today, you can
- 28:30do so for as little as a dollar a month.
- 28:33And now back to the podcast. Oh thank God it wasn't very
- 28:37full. Ricked up.
- 28:40I should have not grabbed that. That's OK.
- 28:42Matt, are there any paper towels in the bathroom?
- 28:44There are paper towels in there. I'm so sorry, Matt.
- 28:46Matt, don't fall. Oh my gosh.
- 28:49So yeah, it's. I'm going to say that before the
- 28:53next time we have sex, Pee, pee hard.
- 28:56Pee pee hard less word do trick. Do but do trick.
- 29:02Thank you, Bubba. It's, it's, it's crazy, like
- 29:04thinking of, it's like I, I don't know, because we're still
- 29:08fairly young. We're Youngs, you know, We're
- 29:10100. Percent young.
- 29:12Well, hold up. You're you just turned you 31 or
- 29:1532. 31 all. Right, well one of us is young
- 29:20bum bum bum bum bum bum bum. Got a 2 in my age.
- 29:24Bum bum, bum, bum, bum that. Was so funny, Ben.
- 29:27All right, I don't like that is like a really pathetic laugh
- 29:31track too. No, because it wasn't that
- 29:33funny. Our live studio audience knows
- 29:34better for sure. But it's like when I look at
- 29:37politicians and the idea being I caught it.
- 29:41What the heck? That was like a all right,
- 29:43that's a sight gag. The idea being like, yeah, we
- 29:46elect politicians so that policies can be enacted.
- 29:50So like that, life gets better. And people are protected, sure,
- 29:53that's what happens. That should be, in theory, what
- 29:56happened. Ideally.
- 29:56Ideally. Yes.
- 29:57And then you look at some of the ages of these people and it's
- 29:59like, dog, you were born that your Coca-Cola was invented.
- 30:04Like you grew up using separate water fountains.
- 30:06You don't know 100%. You don't know about shit.
- 30:08And you're supposed to sit in here.
- 30:10And no, I'm getting worked up now.
- 30:11I'm getting worked up. We have so many.
- 30:14We have so many old geriatric farts.
- 30:18No, but it's like. You're, you're telling me.
- 30:20And I've got their names right here.
- 30:21Just some of the oldest ones, you're telling me.
- 30:23And addresses. Write them down.
- 30:26Let's get them that definitely didn't.
- 30:27Pete Oh my gosh, write it down. They're supposed to like, I'm
- 30:31supposed to believe that they know what's going on.
- 30:34Like I my grandmother's 8182. We're we, we've got people way
- 30:40older than that in office. Oh my gosh, yeah.
- 30:43I've got a couple for you. Here you go, Nancy Pelosi.
- 30:45Guess how old Nancy Pelosi is real?
- 30:47Spill that you said 70. 6. You said 76, I'm gonna say 82.
- 30:5186 OH. My God.
- 30:54She was born in 1940. Yeah.
- 30:56Yeah. She has a net worth of $285
- 30:58million. What have you been doing?
- 31:00That's good. Everything's cool, right, Nancy?
- 31:02That's all your like, government payout.
- 31:04I'm supposed to believe someone with that high of a net worth at
- 31:06the age of 86 is like. How can I help normal people?
- 31:09Yeah, I'm gonna tell you after we go through some of this and
- 31:12talk about some of the politics stuff.
- 31:13The solution I came to the conclusion of not.
- 31:15That long ago. I want solutions.
- 31:17Yeah, for sure. Here's another one.
- 31:18This is the. I'm just going to jump to the
- 31:19oldest one, Chuck Grassley. He's an Iowa senator.
- 31:24Still active. Still active.
- 31:25Guess how old he is? Do you know how long he's been
- 31:27the Iowa senator? I don't.
- 31:29I think he's. And that's the other thing with
- 31:30these people. That's the other thing.
- 31:31He probably hasn't been senator but for maybe four years, but he
- 31:34was maybe a House of Representatives and he was
- 31:36something. Else some other fake, they just
- 31:37stay. On the tit of like the
- 31:39government. Excuse me?
- 31:41Like some other fake thing he was before.
- 31:42OK, how old is he? You go.
- 31:44I'm gonna jump to the oldest 1. You started with an 86 year old.
- 31:48I'm gonna guess he is 95. OK, what do you guess 98?
- 31:54He's 93. You guys both.
- 31:55OK, OK. Yeah. 93 years old.
- 31:58Should there not be a cut off? I mean there's and this is
- 32:02always an. Interesting idea.
- 32:03This has always been interesting to me.
- 32:04Thank you. I just came up with it for the
- 32:05first time. Yeah, yeah.
- 32:07Has always been interesting to me.
- 32:08You have to be of a certain age to be president, right, Which
- 32:11everybody typically, like double s by like 35.
- 32:13Well, the youngest president, it's 35.
- 32:15The youngest president was JFK, and he was, and they killed him.
- 32:19They did kill him. We could talk about that.
- 32:21You guys want us to talk about that.
- 32:22We could talk about that. You know who else they killed?
- 32:25I mean, a lot of people, but Martin Luther King Junior, yeah,
- 32:27yeah, yeah. Which is, isn't that like it's
- 32:29very obvious, the government, the US government definitely
- 32:32took out MLK Junior and JFK, which aren't even like crazy
- 32:35things to say because the MLK family for a long, long time did
- 32:40not believe. And still they don't believe
- 32:42that. Jackie Earl Haley, I don't
- 32:44think. Jackie Hill Perry.
- 32:45Jackie Hill Perry killed MLK Junior.
- 32:49No, we're going to leave that. So Jackie Hill Perry was pinned,
- 32:52Jackie. Went on the podcast so we were
- 32:54talking about how you killed MLK.
- 32:55This is the way that I walk. This is the way they're not.
- 32:58Anyway, she has a new song that matter.
- 33:01I was going to play it because it's a banger.
- 33:03Any who. Yeah.
- 33:04Just basically the guy, the three named Guy Jackie Hill
- 33:07Perry, who was pinned on him. The story is garbage.
- 33:11It's literally paper thin. And they haven't believed for
- 33:14years and years and years. But like, even before the guy
- 33:16died in prison, they went to him.
- 33:18There's a very, like, genuinely touching story of Martin Luther
- 33:21King Junior's son going up to him and asking him, I just have
- 33:25to ask you face to face, did you kill my father?
- 33:28And he goes, I did not. And he goes, I don't think he
- 33:30did. And like, they did a whole civil
- 33:33court case of like the, the, the King family versus the United
- 33:38States government. But because it's a civil court
- 33:39case, it's like the OJ one, it doesn't really do anything.
- 33:42And they sued the government for like $100 just to prove that
- 33:45they don't care about the money. They just care about the truth.
- 33:47And they won the court case. No way they won the, you can
- 33:50look it up. It's like 2001 or like 2005.
- 33:53Yeah, they, they won. They like convinced the court
- 33:56that the US government killed their, their father, like killed
- 34:00Martin Luther King junior and whatever.
- 34:03Anyway, So I, I think, see, this is one of those things where I
- 34:06feel like if people just listen for a second, they would
- 34:09probably understand how we feel about politics, how we feel
- 34:12exactly. Because here's the thing.
- 34:13We're both just being blunt. We're both white Christian guys
- 34:17who are big in certain spaces online, so people will typically
- 34:22lump us in with other people. And I can understand why and
- 34:26there's definitely some shared beliefs, but I have shared
- 34:28beliefs with literally everyone because I think that the modern
- 34:32political paradigm, which again, I'm not a deep thinker or
- 34:34whatever the for the saying this, it's so anachronistic.
- 34:39It doesn't solve anything. It's literally just used.
- 34:42First off, I'm 100% one of those people.
- 34:43Call me a conspiracy theorist. That's why I said like, yeah,
- 34:47sure, you vote for whoever. I don't know to what degree I
- 34:50even think any of that does anything.
- 34:51It does nothing, I genuinely think.
- 34:53And the Epstein files definitely didn't help.
- 34:56Nope. That there are, that there are
- 34:59groups of people in the government, they decide when
- 35:03they come and when they go. And we all just kind of sit idly
- 35:05by and we have to sit through the, the, the sways of like,
- 35:09hey, we're more leaning this way.
- 35:11We're more leaning this way. And then it's, it's just the
- 35:13inevitable thing. And they sit by while we all
- 35:16literally just tear each other to pieces over things.
- 35:19That if we all sat down and everybody knows this, that's the
- 35:22other thing that's like. Every rational person knows
- 35:25that. Everybody knows.
- 35:26Like at the end of the day, there's extremists, sure, but
- 35:29every rational person that has like a family, like I, I think
- 35:33in my mind of people that like, I don't agree with on
- 35:35everything, but I can look at someone who's like a Mormon, for
- 35:38example, and it's like, hey, like you have a family.
- 35:40Like you pay your taxes, like you're a hard working American
- 35:42that's contributing to society. And I, you know, religion aside,
- 35:46or or maybe a a different, you know, belief.
- 35:48Systems things weren't labeled a certain way we would would you
- 35:51think like this is one of the ones that's like not even that
- 35:54crazy your taxes are already going towards.
- 35:59Israel. Yeah, like loads of whatever
- 36:03would you be completely look. At how much we sent Israel?
- 36:05U.S. government sent Israel in 2025.
- 36:08Would you be OK if a portion 'cause it wouldn't take all of
- 36:12it, but if a portion of your tax money went to a universal
- 36:15healthcare system to where, like people who, I don't know, give
- 36:19birth in hospitals, they don't have to pay that, would you be
- 36:22OK with that? I genuinely believe most people
- 36:24would be like, yeah, or that or that a, a, a single mom or just
- 36:29a struggling family who needs childcare that that would be
- 36:32covered. Yeah.
- 36:33Also, are you OK with, you know, some of your money, maybe not
- 36:37all of your money, but some of your money going towards, I
- 36:40don't know, a standing army. So that somebody a defense,
- 36:43right. But does it have to be, I don't
- 36:45know, trillions of however much it is to where it's like, yeah,
- 36:48we, we made this new thing and we have like a billion of these
- 36:50and four. Million, I will say when it
- 36:52comes to defense. We're killing it.
- 36:55Whenever I see like a beat, like whenever we captured Maduro.
- 36:58Yeah. I was like, hell yeah.
- 37:00Of course. So sick.
- 37:01Of course I was. So elated that my tax dollars
- 37:03went to that. I was like, let's freaking go.
- 37:05Yeah, but also OK, the fact. That it was successful.
- 37:09If it failed then I'd be like, what are we doing?
- 37:11Yeah. But there there is also this
- 37:13thing of like, do we have to be Big Brother to the world?
- 37:16Especially whenever so often we just go into other places in the
- 37:19world, we we mess up their thing.
- 37:22We put some guy in place and then we're just like, hey, we're
- 37:25we're literally just like fingers in pies all over the
- 37:28world. And to what degree is that
- 37:29because Israel us. I mean, yeah.
- 37:32Like why are we in the Middle East right now?
- 37:33Well, that's 100% true. How much?
- 37:35How much? How?
- 37:36Much. How much?
- 37:36There's 22 numbers 1. In direct cash 3 billion and
- 37:42then one in military aid 4 billion so.
- 37:46So $7 billion. Actually feels like a lot lower
- 37:48than I was thinking 20. Three, 21.7 billion in just
- 37:52military. Here's the thing.
- 37:53You know, what's crazy is that we just said that, yeah, like
- 37:56that doesn't actually sound like that.
- 37:57It's 21,000 million. It's 21 thousand, $1,000,000.
- 38:02And we're just like, OK, I actually thought it'd be more,
- 38:04which by the way, 100%. I think it probably is more.
- 38:07I don't know. They're feeding us that.
- 38:09Whatever. I don't know.
- 38:10Yeah, I like and I don't because it's so easy to sound like
- 38:13somebody who's like, I don't trust anything or and it's like,
- 38:16yeah, I kind of don't, but that's, but also I have to
- 38:18exist, you know what I mean? Like I, I have to go about my
- 38:21regular day-to-day. Yes.
- 38:22I and I think this is the, the situation that most people find
- 38:25themselves in. Yeah.
- 38:26I even if you're not like a, a, a, a Christian.
- 38:29Yeah. I think that the government is
- 38:31like evil and they do evil and we know they do evil things.
- 38:34We know regularly there is proof after proof after proof.
- 38:38But also, what am I going to do? And that's literally where I
- 38:41find myself like we could wait and we're going to talk about
- 38:44certain topics. How do you feel?
- 38:45How do you go one way or the other?
- 38:47And you know, I do think a lot of the times my, I mean, even
- 38:51talking about what I just talked about a minute ago, the
- 38:53healthcare thing, most people, a lot of people, not most, a lot
- 38:57of people would be like, wow, he sounds like a radical leftist.
- 39:00He wants me to pay for just like poor and impoverished people to
- 39:04have like regular healthcare. Get the out of here.
- 39:07But it's like, is that is that so crazy?
- 39:10Is that so wild? If you were not so indoctrinated
- 39:14in this like left right system where the right thinks this and
- 39:20the left thinks this, would you still think it was crazy?
- 39:22Also here's here's a Would it still?
- 39:23Be wrong if so on that topic because the people that have
- 39:26healthcare unless you work for the government I don't know how
- 39:29that works. You have to pay for it still.
- 39:31It's just for your company. What if, hey, the amount that
- 39:35you pay in taxes for universal Healthcare is less than what you
- 39:38pay through like your company for private health insurance?
- 39:42What if it then which would probably be the case.
- 39:45It just doesn't make sense it. Doesn't make any sense.
- 39:49And that's one. Of those things and I, I brought
- 39:51it to the age and kind of overarching first to kind of
- 39:54drive home the point of like, because I think people are
- 39:56looking for us to be like Republican or Democrat.
- 39:58No one's on our side. Like none of them.
- 40:00Care, I don't like any of them. I want whenever I I'll jump to
- 40:04the end right now. My conclusion we were talking
- 40:06about this earlier while we were waiting for Matt to get here a
- 40:09couple years ago, I like started getting a little bit more into
- 40:12like and and I'm not still here. I don't align myself as like an
- 40:15anarchist, but whenever I look at the government, the idea, I
- 40:21don't know, the idea that the solution of the reform would
- 40:23come through the very system that, like, gives birth to and
- 40:28breeds up people like Jeffrey Epstein, People like all the
- 40:32other Jeffrey Epstein's that we've never even heard of.
- 40:34Because if you think there aren't others, you're insane.
- 40:37If you think there aren't situations where it's much
- 40:39worse, you're insane. So the idea that that same
- 40:42system, you could just, like, reform it, I just don't think
- 40:46so. So I really do.
- 40:48I want to take the snake. I want to take the hydra.
- 40:51OK, let's say it is. And you know, the way you kill a
- 40:53hydra, you have to cut off every head.
- 40:57You have to cut it off like at the base.
- 40:58And I think that that is the solution.
- 41:01Like I really do like as radical, whatever it is, it is.
- 41:03And by the way, because I under I understand some people would
- 41:06be like, how can you say this as a Christian to some degree?
- 41:10Like you either have to take, I don't know, like if you, if you
- 41:14look at the teachings and preachings of Christ and how a
- 41:16Christian is supposed to care for themselves.
- 41:20If I for a second go well, the government is solely responsible
- 41:24for the for the horrific death and also abuse of millions of
- 41:30people, countries of people. It is very easy for me to then
- 41:35be able to come up with a valid enough reason why I could do
- 41:41whatever to the government. Because in the same way, if a
- 41:44guy came in here with a gun and was threatening to kill Matt,
- 41:48Josh and I would do whatever we could to stop that man.
- 41:52The idea, yeah, 100%. Dude, you know what?
- 41:56But. No, that's exactly right.
- 41:58It's like there's, I think as Christians, there's definitely a
- 42:04call for us to be like good citizens in the government.
- 42:06Right there is, and we. Are but at the same time it's
- 42:08not UN Christ like to want reform like oh, I want this to
- 42:12be better. Well, at the same time, there
- 42:14were times in history and there are places around the world
- 42:16where it's illegal to be a Christian that there just are
- 42:19there's tons of places are the. Christians in those countries
- 42:21bad for wanting to. Reform should they abandoned
- 42:23their faith to be no, because you should be a good boy.
- 42:26You should adhere to Christ and that's a thing and there's that
- 42:29on both sides. I'm a good boy.
- 42:31Like, I just want to, oh, whatever, literally whatever,
- 42:34like Daddy Trump says or whatever Daddy big Government
- 42:37says those are. And they're both big government.
- 42:40That's the thing. That's one of the other things
- 42:42that's so incredibly frustrating.
- 42:44But then people look at someone like me and they go like, well,
- 42:47you're just unrealistic. And it's like, yeah, maybe.
- 42:50Maybe I I'd rather be. Maybe the whole system will
- 42:52never burn down in America, but also maybe I'm not going to sit
- 42:55around and literally because again, both sides do this and I
- 42:57don't care how many verses they have in their bio bio or how
- 43:00much truer to Christ they think they are.
- 43:02Both of them treat politics and politicians like their saviours,
- 43:08like they are going to be the ones that bring about the the
- 43:12the perfection. And it's like that's not the
- 43:14case. It's like, I, I think the point
- 43:16with this side of the conversation at least is like,
- 43:20I'm not going to like I have so little faith in the system that
- 43:24I'm just not going to waste my time.
- 43:26Like attaching my name like I'm, I'm a home team guy.
- 43:28I've got my Cowboys jersey on. Yeah, Tight I.
- 43:30Want to root for like I want a team to root for in politics.
- 43:34I'm I'm a rah rah guy. I want my guys in girls because
- 43:37ladies can be politicians too. Girls can play football.
- 43:39They can in the in the girl football.
- 43:42So it's I'm a rah, rah guy, but it's like, yo, like I'm just not
- 43:47going to like give any time or hope to a human being in the
- 43:50system. Well, and it sounds that's.
- 43:52Where I live. It sounds, however, and I'm not
- 43:54one of those people that's like, I'm going to go to the voting
- 43:55booth and I'm going to write in Jesus Christ.
- 43:57But like, that's what I think, one of the not dead.
- 44:00He's truly I'm not. No, but like, I think that's one
- 44:03of the great things about being a Christian is like, I don't
- 44:05have to rob, rob any of these people.
- 44:07I can literally just rob, rob the name of Christ.
- 44:09And like this idea that there's like a lesser of two evils and I
- 44:12have to align myself. Dude, kick rocks, pick up the
- 44:15rocks and eat them. I'm not doing that and I don't
- 44:17need to do that. And also like there, there is
- 44:20nobody that I fully agree with. So why would I lie and align
- 44:24myself with one of these people? And I, and I understand most
- 44:26people are like, well, that's true for anyone.
- 44:29Nobody perfectly, uh oh, nobody perfectly agrees with anybody.
- 44:32Then I don't think they should be forced or like even socially
- 44:35forced to act like you have to do this.
- 44:38Also, again, you're not changing anything like and, and, and I
- 44:42know that that's hard for some people and some people are like,
- 44:44oh, it's easy for you to say blah, blah, you're not doing.
- 44:48Anything Do you want to hear how little people in the government
- 44:50do? Real quick, let me say this very
- 44:52quickly. I don't want to sound like a
- 44:55real dour person or a real downer.
- 44:58I'm a very jovial person. I'm a very happy person, but a
- 45:02lot of people who will hear what I'm saying are like, wow, that
- 45:05sounds really pessimistic. No, I just don't find my hope
- 45:09and I don't find my joy in these things because why would I?
- 45:13Because they're literally the things of the world.
- 45:15Man sucks, but God is good. So I just want that to be
- 45:19abundant. To your point there, exactly,
- 45:20people probably hear this and they're like, oh, so they're
- 45:22like Debbie Downers. But it's also in the same
- 45:24breath, like I'm not going to dwell or waste my time being
- 45:27like, oh man, or government. So it's just like.
- 45:30I. I'm just not going to dedicate
- 45:33time to a lost cause. No, literally, like it's the
- 45:40first thing that the first thing that came to mind was like, oh,
- 45:43the ship's burning. But but it's not.
- 45:45What it is is that we're all in, like this big house, right?
- 45:49And the people that own the house are genuinely evil.
- 45:52Yeah, I can't do literally unless everybody just decides
- 45:56one day, which, which we won't. And that's why they do it.
- 45:59That's why they keep doing everything.
- 46:01Exactly. Because you're inside and you're
- 46:03safe and you're comfortable. And I'm not trying to sound
- 46:06however, but I'm just saying that's why nothing changes.
- 46:08Yeah, that's why the Epstein files came out and nothing
- 46:10happened. That's why we can know.
- 46:12Like I always bring it up whenever we're talking, like
- 46:14with your wife about politics. Like I knew the government was
- 46:16evil as soon as whenever I was younger.
- 46:18I mean, a multitude of things. But I learned about the Tuskegee
- 46:21experiment. And it's like you hear about
- 46:24less than 100 years ago, the government just experimenting on
- 46:27black people in the South. And then they're just like,
- 46:30sorry. And it's like, oh, oh, the and,
- 46:33and it's not. And I know some people will be
- 46:35like, oh, they did it 'cause they're, they're black.
- 46:37Yes, to a degree. But they did it because they
- 46:39knew they could and they did it to the people they knew they
- 46:42could. And things like the, the Epstein
- 46:46files and plenty of other things just show us that that's all of
- 46:49us. They can manipulate all of us.
- 46:52They can use and abuse all of us.
- 46:53And they do. And we don't do anything.
- 46:56So yeah, I don't know. But but yeah, the the house that
- 47:00we all live in is run by like some of the most people you can
- 47:04imagine. Literally.
- 47:05It's like the Tim Dillon bit of just like now more than ever you
- 47:11go into the voting booth, it's like, well, which pedophile do I
- 47:12want to? Yeah, well, this one, you know,
- 47:14has, you know, better education reform.
- 47:17I guess that's good for the kids.
- 47:19I don't know, like, yeah, just like.
- 47:20All right. But let me let me tell you this.
- 47:22So I I I went real. Quick and let me finish and I'm
- 47:25sorry 'cause I, I realized I went on a tangent just very
- 47:27quickly. The house is run by the most
- 47:29evil people you know, and the best that you can do is the best
- 47:32that you can do. Like that's all like, and that
- 47:35is why in the face of oh, everything is run by evil people
- 47:39and they don't care about me. They wouldn't piss on me if I
- 47:42was on fire, but I can still like literally they, they
- 47:46wouldn't, they would literally pee off to the side.
- 47:48They pee on each other 'cause they're weirdos.
- 47:50But the best that I can do is just like love my family, love
- 47:53my friends, love Christ, and especially in the positions that
- 47:57we're in, use the platform that I have to.
- 47:59That's also why I don't talk about a lot of politics on my
- 48:01platform 'cause it's like nothing would change, nothing
- 48:04would do any good. I'd rather use my platform to
- 48:06like, lead more people to Christ because then at least there's
- 48:08like an eternal difference. But all this, it doesn't do
- 48:11anything. So that's again to, to, to go
- 48:13back to, it's not all, just all negative and downer, all of like
- 48:17the house that we live in, the owners are evil, but there is
- 48:21land that the house is on. And the one that made that land
- 48:23and the one that made everything else is good.
- 48:26And you can live your life to to glorify him and to draw nearer
- 48:30to him. So the fact that the house is
- 48:32run by evil people doesn't change the fact that, like, life
- 48:36can still be good because they're not that powerful.
- 48:39They can end your life, but they can't, you know, if you're not
- 48:42the one that can kill your body but feel the fear, the one that
- 48:43can kill your soul. And he also loves us.
- 48:46So. Yeah.
- 48:47Go ahead. Thanks.
- 48:48You want to hear how little gets done even in the please, so I
- 48:52would. Love to I've.
- 48:53Told you about the the bachelor party I went with for my buddy
- 48:56who works for the government and all the other guys, all of those
- 48:58other groomsmen, Yeah, work for the government.
- 49:01We're out in DC. And one of the guys, I forget
- 49:04who he worked for, he worked for, I believe it was a senator
- 49:08for one of the states up in the Northwest, like Idaho or
- 49:12Montana. And so I was kind of just like
- 49:14picking his brain, like, yo, you're, you're not like second
- 49:17in line, but you're like pretty high up within this guy's like
- 49:19campaign or whatever. Like, and I remember him like
- 49:22kind of just telling me like, dude, not a lot gets done right.
- 49:26And I was like, what do you do all day, You know.
- 49:28But he was like, well, he's like, think about it.
- 49:29So my guy wants to get re elected and he's like, and
- 49:33that's, I want my guy to get re elected because I have a job, of
- 49:36course. And that's always priority #1 So
- 49:39he's like, so I believe Senator terms four years.
- 49:42He's like, we'll kind of do some stuff in the first two years.
- 49:45We'll, we'll be bipartisan because I feel like that's at
- 49:47the end of the day why our system was designed the way it
- 49:49is. It's like, hey, we can meet in
- 49:51the middle and, and have bipartisanship.
- 49:53Sure. He's like, so we'll work
- 49:55together in the first two years, but he's like, but really the
- 49:58last two years of the campaign is just focusing on getting
- 50:02reelected. If if we go and work with a
- 50:05Democrat, cuz he was Republican. If we go and work with a
- 50:08Democrat on anything bipartisan, it's gonna be held against us by
- 50:12the other Republicans trying to run.
- 50:14We can't do that. So it's like, so you literally
- 50:18like sits for, for 50%, probably more on the front half, even 50%
- 50:23of your term. You just kind of just like, hey,
- 50:25how can we keep this power, by the way?
- 50:26Literally do nothing, just constantly conniving nothing.
- 50:30There's never there's never a big enough pie for you to have
- 50:33your piece of Yeah, like it. It's an ever you're you're
- 50:36always a who is a it's not Polyphemus because that's the
- 50:39the giant, but who whoever is the guy That's like constantly
- 50:41rolling the rock up the hill. You.
- 50:43You're a giant. That is me.
- 50:45But he's not a giant, I don't think.
- 50:46But he's the guy who gave fire to the mortals in like, Greek
- 50:49mythology anyway. Sisyphus.
- 50:51Sisyphus. Yes, yes, yes.
- 50:52Oh, Sissy fuss. Oh, Sissy fuss.
- 50:54Hey Sissy, why are you fussing? Why is he fussing?
- 50:57He doesn't have it that bad. Just roll the rock dude.
- 50:59Just. Roll the rock, big man.
- 51:01Oh, these crows are pecking at. Me.
- 51:02Oh my gosh. Shut up.
- 51:04Yeah, dude, I have to sit in front of a computer.
- 51:06For hey, imagine limit, Yeah, dude, imagine doing this.
- 51:09Come on dude. Dude, I have to talk later while
- 51:11he opens Pokémon cards. I'm a grown man, come on.
- 51:14You have any idea? I had to drink this because I
- 51:16forgot my own drink. Sissy fuss if you're watching,
- 51:18we'd love to have you as a guest though.
- 51:20Hey, shout out to Lonnie sponsor us.
- 51:21No, no free ads. No shout out.
- 51:25Somebody sponsor us though. Shout out Lonnie in his
- 51:28wonderful floral shop here in Midlothian, TX.
- 51:31Woodsy Floral and Coffee Company.
- 51:33Woodsy Floral and Coffee company.
- 51:34Really sorry, Coffee company. Woodsy Floral and Coffee
- 51:36company. Yeah, okay, really sorry about
- 51:38that. Lonnie, I am mentally deficient.
- 51:41It has nothing to do with my. I love you and I thank you very
- 51:43much for this. Yeah.
- 51:44So. Yeah.
- 51:45Nothing gets done. Nothing gets done.
- 51:47And the stuff that does get done is typically, what, 1% of what
- 51:52was promised? I mean, that's my my dad.
- 51:54And it's very interesting to watch.
- 51:56My dad's like a 60 year old, you know, conservative.
- 51:59Let's put him in office. He's almost old enough.
- 52:01Well, he's a whippersnapper compared to a lot of them.
- 52:04But no, it's just like watching him more and more throughout the
- 52:06years. It's like, Oh yeah, nothing
- 52:08happens. Nothing gets done.
- 52:10Promises are made. And then like even if any of
- 52:12those promises come through, they also like go back on and
- 52:15recant the other 90%. So it doesn't matter.
- 52:19It doesn't change any of it. And also more, more and more,
- 52:21you realize, like the things that are like they're big
- 52:23moments don't change much whenever, whenever Trump signed
- 52:27that thing, which by the way, I'm all for keeping males and
- 52:31male sports and females and female sports, but he signed
- 52:33that. I know you heard me talking
- 52:36about all that, right? But whenever he signed that
- 52:39thing that was essentially making it like an official law
- 52:42or whatever to do that, it was like there's like 1000 trans
- 52:46athletes, which in the grand, which is a thousands a lot in
- 52:49the grand scheme. It's like, I mean, what .00
- 52:53whatever of a percent, but it's treated all the light is put on
- 52:57this. Meanwhile, how much later after
- 52:59that it's like, hey, by the way, we're going to war again.
- 53:01I know, I know we were like no new wars.
- 53:03We have like multiple new wars and it's like, so it's like the
- 53:07the no, but it's like the things that are made to seem like they
- 53:12matter, don't, and the things that do matter that they that
- 53:17they promise to do, they don't do like and and that's the
- 53:21thing. So, so maybe you know, we've,
- 53:22we've gone on now for 2030 minutes about how government
- 53:25sucks. Do we want to talk about our
- 53:27positions on specific things? Well.
- 53:28I, I think a good way to start that right is like, it feels
- 53:32like a reason why I feel like I'm kind of in the middle is
- 53:35like because of the portraits or the caricatures of each party at
- 53:40this point, because it's like, again, I'll go back to like the
- 53:45James Talarico and Ken Paxton, right?
- 53:47That's like the big Senate thing or whatever, Which by the way,
- 53:49one off. It's so funny in red states how
- 53:53easy it is as a Republican to like, get elected as long as
- 53:55you're not just an awful human being.
- 53:57Well, I mean, yeah, literally. Like, you literally just don't.
- 54:00Like, I'm pretty sure Ken Paxton Paxton's like, actively cheating
- 54:02on his wife and everyone knows about it.
- 54:04It's just like, all you have to do is just be kind of a good
- 54:07person and you get reelected. And like Republicans just make
- 54:09it so hard anyways. We could kill it.
- 54:11You want to get into. Politics.
- 54:12I saw sounds get into politics. Let's.
- 54:13Just give up all this stuff and get into politics.
- 54:16Hey, who would you guys vote for?
- 54:17What's up guys? We're going to get right back to
- 54:19the podcast, but wanted to stop and say thank you.
- 54:21Thank you so much for watching or listening to Josh and the
- 54:24Giant. Wherever you do.
- 54:25If you haven't, take some time to go to joshandthegiant.com and
- 54:28support us. Consider becoming a member.
- 54:30Check out our merch. I definitely haven't pissed
- 54:32myself. Guys.
- 54:33Thank you again so much for supporting the pod.
- 54:35God bless. Real spill.
- 54:37Real spill if it if it was a bill and it was Josh Benson or
- 54:40Ben Kessler. For, let's say, governor of your
- 54:43state. Let's do a quick 10 second ad
- 54:46going against the other person. OK, go ahead.
- 54:48You know how they're like Ken Paxton.
- 54:50All right, Josh Benson's first girlfriend was 12 years old.
- 54:56You know how old Josh was? 35.
- 54:59Is that who you want to be your governor?
- 55:02Vote me Ben Kessler for Texas State.
- 55:06Go ahead, buddy. Clip that.
- 55:09We're going to. All right, go on.
- 55:10Go ahead. Ben Kessler.
- 55:16Why do you have the George W Bush face?
- 55:19Strategory. All right, go ahead, Go ahead,
- 55:21Go ahead. I won't interrupt.
- 55:22Go ahead. Ben Kessler has a radical policy
- 55:27that wants to put babies to work in coal mines.
- 55:30Every baby, the minute that they're born, straight to the
- 55:33mines. Straight to the mines.
- 55:36Also, Ben Kessler also had a 12 year old.
- 55:38Gold. No, you can't just do.
- 55:39That he also he dated a 12 year old when he was 35 too.
- 55:43He's a bad. Person.
- 55:44Hold on, I want to do another. He's also transgender.
- 55:46I want to vote for Josh. All right.
- 55:52Do you want a family man to run your state?
- 55:55Well, that's not Josh Benson because his wife is also his
- 55:58family pet. Josh Benson bangs dogs.
- 56:01Is that the kind of man you want to run your state?
- 56:05I don't think so. My wife is awesome and a woman
- 56:08and black. Vote me Ben Kessler for Texas
- 56:12State. That was good.
- 56:14You got, you got like, what's funny is that's how the ads are.
- 56:17See, here's the thing. I'm such an evil person.
- 56:19Genuinely, I would go solo. I would, I would lie
- 56:23immediately. Like I literally I'd be like
- 56:25Josh Benson smokes crack. Is that who you want to run your
- 56:28stick like? And you'd be like, I've never
- 56:30even done that. Why were you at this party on
- 56:32July 3rd, 19th, you know. Because it was the day before
- 56:35July 4th. They had crack at that party.
- 56:38No, they had snacks at that party.
- 56:40You, Josh Benson, got cracked at that party?
- 56:42No. All right.
- 56:45By my loving wife. You got cracked.
- 56:48Isn't that a? Do you want a governor that gets
- 56:50pegged? Josh Benson.
- 56:53Josh Benson? Oh my gosh, we're never getting
- 56:56a Christian sponsor. You know that.
- 56:58Right, we're not getting. Any sponsors never so become a
- 57:01member at joshandthegiant.com. You can join for his low it.
- 57:06Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
- 57:07Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Josh on thegiant.com Why'd you
- 57:11lean back? Matt?
- 57:13Josh, Matt goes not me. Uh oh.
- 57:16Josh on thegiant.com become a member for as low as a dollar a
- 57:19month. So funny, we can, we can say
- 57:24like politicians say, we're the only grassroots podcast out
- 57:28there. We're we're funded by our
- 57:30members. We haven't taken any money from
- 57:32super PACs or Israel. Never lobbyists.
- 57:35We haven't taken, we kind of get rid of that mug because I get, I
- 57:38get so. Many.
- 57:39It's real. It's.
- 57:40So crazy. The fact that people.
- 57:42Were like oh unfollowed dude please do please do ask me one
- 57:48time about Israel. I love him.
- 57:51I was just kidding. I'm just kidding.
- 57:53I'm just kidding. Any who.
- 57:54What were we even the? Caricatures of like Republicans
- 57:57and Democrats like the thing that makes it difficult as I
- 58:01feel like being remotely normal is like Republicans have gone
- 58:06down like the, you know, I'm a manly man and women need to
- 58:09never work again. And we're going to repeal their
- 58:11their right to vote. And then Democrats, I'm going to
- 58:14say it. I'm going to say it.
- 58:16We can bleep this later if we need to.
- 58:18Just kind of kind of little gay now.
- 58:20Well, yeah, like it's just like. Even more so.
- 58:23Like it's just like super like, oh, like, you know, like hand to
- 58:28broke type stuff. And it's just like.
- 58:30So you know what's even funnier is like the Uber masculine
- 58:32progressives who are like it, It feels like whenever you see a, a
- 58:36a black Mormon apologist and you're like, how would you make
- 58:38him? How much did you pay?
- 58:39Did they like hire you? Like are you an actor?
- 58:42It's the same for whenever you see like the progressive content
- 58:45creators who are like, I can deadlift 900 lbs and I'm voting
- 58:50for James Talarico and you're like, OK, I feel.
- 58:52Like but like you see what they're.
- 58:53You're trying too hard. Yeah.
- 58:54They're like, you're 100%. You're trying to appeal to a
- 58:56demographic who otherwise would be like, get out of your face.
- 58:59Like, like, I don't, you know what I mean?
- 59:01So I said fat. Just make that clear.
- 59:05And you're on Olympic now. That's kind of messed up.
- 59:06OK, Matt, so we were talking earlier about, you know, I
- 59:09mentioned about my thoughts on like kind of essentially
- 59:11universal healthcare. Yeah.
- 59:12Where would you land on something like that?
- 59:16See, I feel like if it's like laid out and I can see because
- 59:21it feels like there, there are things that get like rolled out
- 59:24by the government. That's like, what's the plan
- 59:26here? Right?
- 59:26I I would want to know how it's operating, I guess, but I don't
- 59:30know, like I feel like it's a good thing.
- 59:32Right, like it. It feels like a difficult thing
- 59:34to fight back again. But there's also, I think, ways
- 59:36that it could be enacted to where it's like, oh, this is
- 59:38horrible for. Everybody.
- 59:39Well, that's the thing. I feel like just like with
- 59:40everything else. And again, this goes back to the
- 59:42the the two party system, everything has to be opposed to
- 59:45each other. Is the people on the right,
- 59:47whenever they hear about the universal healthcare or, or
- 59:50something akin to that, Yeah, they're like, well, can you
- 59:52really trust it? And it's like, well, obviously
- 59:54we're all being idealistic. Yeah.
- 59:55I can't trust the government to do anything.
- 59:57But if you're going to tell me like, hey, maybe we'll make it
- 1:00:00to where poor people don't have to, like, die in the street.
- 1:00:03Or like, or yeah, people don't have to.
- 1:00:05A lot of people aren't literally like pushed to the verge, if not
- 1:00:08going over the edge of taking their own life because they just
- 1:00:11amass so much debt because they're sick and they can't
- 1:00:15literally like kind of stuff. It's like, OK, well, you know, I
- 1:00:17hope that that would work. So.
- 1:00:19So would your mindset kind of be like mine then?
- 1:00:21Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah, where it's like, yeah, why
- 1:00:23wouldn't I want that? Cause also my money is going
- 1:00:26towards 1000 other things that I don't have a say in which is
- 1:00:29which is something I would love if every year we got like a
- 1:00:33freaking like checklist. Just give me a bill like, hey,
- 1:00:35what percentage? What do you go to?
- 1:00:36Yeah, this goes the bill. This goes to firemen, This goes
- 1:00:39to the police officers. Sick.
- 1:00:41Yeah, that'd be awesome. Maybe that, maybe that'd be a
- 1:00:44good thing. How do you feel about the cops?
- 1:00:46Iraq, I mean a cab yo. So what's funny is watching
- 1:00:52because I, I grew up in, you know, kind of a more.
- 1:00:57Backwards. Yeah, that yeah, little
- 1:00:59backwards, especially like some of my family for sure.
- 1:01:02So growing up in like the early 2000s, like my family was like
- 1:01:06kind of anti cop to an extent. Like my uncle was a cop.
- 1:01:08He was a good. Cop well that that's but they.
- 1:01:10Were like, you know, we don't really trust him, you know, but
- 1:01:12it was because like my, my other uncle just kept getting like
- 1:01:15DUI's. Well, that's the that's a very
- 1:01:17like redneck hillbilly. And I'm not saying that like I
- 1:01:19come from that too, where it's like, yeah, I think a lot of
- 1:01:22people have a natural inbuilt thing of like, I remember one
- 1:01:24time I was driving around with a buddy and this kind of shows
- 1:01:27like, I guess you could say privilege to a degree.
- 1:01:29We're driving around and we weren't even like doing
- 1:01:31anything. And he saw like a cop car and a
- 1:01:33couple of white guys and he sees a cop car and he's like, and I
- 1:01:36was like, dude, it's not like the cops are like looking for a
- 1:01:38reason. Well, no, I told, I literally
- 1:01:40said I was like, it's not like they're like looking for a
- 1:01:41reason to pull you over. And he goes, that's exactly what
- 1:01:43they're doing. And I was like, all right, well,
- 1:01:46I think to a degree that that is true.
- 1:01:49That is the case. But also I think we need a
- 1:01:52police force because otherwise you have private you guys.
- 1:01:56Cities that are like, like, kind of taking like pulling back on
- 1:01:59funding the police and it's like a disaster.
- 1:02:01Like, what was it San Francisco? Like had something enacted to
- 1:02:04where like cops wouldn't pursue like thefts if the value was
- 1:02:08under like $900? That was in multiple cities.
- 1:02:11Is that multiple? Well, that's why you saw videos
- 1:02:12of people, like, robbing CBS's and, like, man, and, like,
- 1:02:16brutal videos of store employees trying to stop them and just
- 1:02:19getting stomped out because the people who are willing to just,
- 1:02:23like, steal, I don't know, $900 worth with the baby formula.
- 1:02:28Who would have thought? They're also OK with just, like,
- 1:02:30beating the hell out of some young kid, Yeah.
- 1:02:32Who's just trying to keep their job.
- 1:02:34You saw that coming. Yeah, It's insane.
- 1:02:36And then you saw, which unfortunately, the downstream
- 1:02:40effect of, like, a lot of these kinds of policies is a lot of
- 1:02:44stores, like, especially like, even vaguely nicer stores
- 1:02:47pulling out of like, rougher areas where they were providing
- 1:02:52like, a good service. But hey, if the cops literally
- 1:02:54won't come whenever, we just keep getting robbed.
- 1:02:57Yeah, yeah, yeah. So yeah, it was, it was funny on
- 1:03:00the point of cops though, family was like kind of whatever about
- 1:03:03cops. And then the the back, the blue
- 1:03:05stuff started happening. We love our cops and they're
- 1:03:08whatever. And so it's like that that's
- 1:03:11that was a fun dynamic. But yeah, I feel like cops are
- 1:03:12like, needed, but I feel like there were obviously bad cops,
- 1:03:17right? But I mean cops.
- 1:03:18Yeah, there's incredible cops and there's bad cops just like,
- 1:03:21just like everybody else. And I do understand the
- 1:03:24difference of like, yeah, but a bad cop is still like a person
- 1:03:27with a gun. And yeah, 100%, that's terrible.
- 1:03:30In Texas, everyone's a person with.
- 1:03:32God, he's got a firearm. So, but yeah, but I mean, again,
- 1:03:35what is the, what's the opposite?
- 1:03:37If all of a sudden we don't have cops?
- 1:03:40Well, it's like I, I don't even know if necessarily that, but
- 1:03:42it's just like, if we don't have cops, then what am I supposed to
- 1:03:45do? Who do I call?
- 1:03:47And that's why I mentioned it. And, and this is one of the
- 1:03:49things that like gives me pause even with like the anarchist
- 1:03:52movement, cause a lot of anarchists are like, yeah, no
- 1:03:54cops. Because the whole thing is meant
- 1:03:56to be like no big government, no big government systems.
- 1:03:59So everything is small. Everything is like you literally
- 1:04:02have to, it boils down to like almost like a monthly service
- 1:04:07you have like with Amazon, you would have with a private
- 1:04:09military service who you would call if and you would go to JC
- 1:04:13Penney and JC Penney would have their own private military.
- 1:04:15And it's like there's a world where I could see that being
- 1:04:18better, I guess. But also, I don't know, I kind
- 1:04:23of like the. But also but then poor people
- 1:04:24get stomped out again. 100% yeah.
- 1:04:27There's no system where the where the little guy, like where
- 1:04:31the person with the least benefits.
- 1:04:33Yeah, that's The thing is like even whenever you look at these
- 1:04:35systems that are meant to be like sharing the wealth and
- 1:04:38doing all, it's like it's always the lowest among us.
- 1:04:42And and I don't mean like in value, but in like fiscal
- 1:04:46ability who just who just are thrown out to the wind going
- 1:04:50abortion. Yeah, but we've talked about
- 1:04:52abortion. We have talked about it.
- 1:04:53We're both fairly. I mean I, I, I teeter depending
- 1:04:56on the day, whether I call myself pro-life or anti
- 1:04:58abortion. I feel like one thing that a
- 1:05:01caveat that I would like to add, because I was talking with Cindy
- 1:05:03about this the other night is like, like if I was in office,
- 1:05:05like if I'm president, like anti abortion, we're defunding
- 1:05:09planned Parenthoods and all that.
- 1:05:11But I think in the same breath, it's also like, huh, I do want
- 1:05:16like you have to ask the question, why do women feel like
- 1:05:19they need to get an abortion? Like I feel like they're like
- 1:05:21sinus, like they're evil women who like, you know, this is just
- 1:05:25going to ruin my life. And but I feel like there's also
- 1:05:28cases of just like I don't have the money, this is going to be
- 1:05:31hard. The guy that I'm pregnant with
- 1:05:32won't find out whatever. And so it's also, I think if if
- 1:05:35the government's going to take away something that's been here.
- 1:05:39You can't just do that. And also I think there there,
- 1:05:41hey, let's incentivize better tax, tax write offs for
- 1:05:46children. Let's make cheaper maybe like
- 1:05:48state sponsored. Well, I think that's here.
- 1:05:50I think that's where you where you hear the term a lot, where
- 1:05:52people talk about like a social safety net.
- 1:05:54Yeah. Where it's like having things
- 1:05:56put in place. And again, I do understand
- 1:05:58because there are people listening to this right now that
- 1:06:00are like, you guys are so stupid.
- 1:06:02That would never work. And it's like, I understand why
- 1:06:04it wouldn't work right now. We are stupid.
- 1:06:06We are taught we are stupid. You heard me.
- 1:06:08You heard me barely pass the citizenship test.
- 1:06:11And I've lived here. Marijuana.
- 1:06:11You made an 80? Thanks man, pretty solid.
- 1:06:15But no, it's like we're talking about like an idealistic world.
- 1:06:18And an idealistic world is where women never, not, never.
- 1:06:24Never do nothing. But the women who genuinely do
- 1:06:26that because they feel like they don't have any other choice,
- 1:06:30that there would be enough surrounding them to where they
- 1:06:33would never feel like that. And of course, that's too
- 1:06:36idealistic. And of course, that's almost
- 1:06:37like utopian in a manner of speaking.
- 1:06:40But there's always going to be abortion.
- 1:06:42There's always going to be people that for one reason or
- 1:06:44another go whatever route to like end the life of, of the
- 1:06:49child of the child growing in them, right.
- 1:06:52But I want that to be as little as possible.
- 1:06:54So yes, I I totally. Agree.
- 1:06:56Make it as little as possible. A lot of.
- 1:06:57People just stop at being like, well, you get rid of abortion
- 1:07:00and it's like, right. But you do.
- 1:07:02Cause again, it's, it's the same thing that people always point
- 1:07:04out. People are going to get
- 1:07:05abortions. So what do you want?
- 1:07:08You want to provide a a a healthier alternative?
- 1:07:12You want to revamp the and again, going back and yes, I
- 1:07:15know all the stuff I said before about you can't do any of that
- 1:07:17because the whole system's. Broke.
- 1:07:18Well, there's well, I've got to get reelected, Ben.
- 1:07:20I can't, I can't enact policies for single mothers, right?
- 1:07:24Now, but you want to revamp the. And Israel's got me on the line
- 1:07:27too. I got to, I got to do something
- 1:07:29for them, you know? The men in the little hats.
- 1:07:31But why do you keep looking at that?
- 1:07:33Is there somebody out there? It's like a dark figure.
- 1:07:36Whatever. He always comes around.
- 1:07:38He's 10 feet tall. He always.
- 1:07:39What time is it? Oh yeah, He comes around at this
- 1:07:41time, Mr. Sandman. Yeah, it's when you take the
- 1:07:44Benadryl, it's just the hat guy comes.
- 1:07:46To sea yeah the hat man yeah this him, but no yeah man like
- 1:07:52yeah abortion, I'm anti it but also with that you have to put
- 1:07:56other things in place otherwise you just then you just have a
- 1:08:00bunch of illegal abortions happening and a lot of both
- 1:08:03children and women losing their lives yeah.
- 1:08:06What are some other topics? Like immigration.
- 1:08:11There you go. There you go.
- 1:08:13Really real easy softball this. I'm going to make it not easy
- 1:08:18because I feel like it depends for sure.
- 1:08:22It's like, dude, when I think of like the people that come to
- 1:08:28America in like, what's the word like assimilates or like work
- 1:08:31hard and and and I don't know, become a part of the American.
- 1:08:35Culture. I want good people in America.
- 1:08:37Well, I don't care what you look like.
- 1:08:39I don't care where you're from. And you know what?
- 1:08:41Maybe how about this? Me and my dad actually had a
- 1:08:43hole. We have we have very interesting
- 1:08:44conversations sometimes. But what if you took a poll?
- 1:08:48If you somehow were able to look at every single person in
- 1:08:50America, I don't care how they got here.
- 1:08:53Are you like generally a good guy?
- 1:08:55Generally a good gal? And if you're I don't care the
- 1:08:58color of your skin, I don't care your religion.
- 1:09:00I don't care what? Genuinely, Yeah.
- 1:09:02Are you generally a good guy? Cool if you're not.
- 1:09:04If you're not. Getting them out of here.
- 1:09:07Exactly. My family's been here, don't
- 1:09:08care. And I'm not saying that about
- 1:09:09like people who don't look like me.
- 1:09:10I'm saying that also about people that look like, yeah,
- 1:09:12'cause there are people that look like Canada that suck.
- 1:09:15Send them to wherever, find their ancestors, send them back
- 1:09:18there. See, that's the issue.
- 1:09:20We need to get ice on just everybody.
- 1:09:23See, that's the thing. People are like, oh, what do you
- 1:09:24think about immigrants? Hey, man, what do I think about
- 1:09:27residents? How about that?
- 1:09:29If I'm king, If I'm king, let's optimize the.
- 1:09:33We're going to 1 by 1. What do you do?
- 1:09:35Yeah, hey, what would other? I'm going to ask the five
- 1:09:38closest people in your life, depending on what they say about
- 1:09:41you, 'cause we'll see where you're living today.
- 1:09:43You haven't paid anything in taxes and you're on welfare and
- 1:09:48you're getting this from the government and that and you're
- 1:09:50stealing this. You're gone.
- 1:09:52Yeah, that is a good, that is a good balance, OK.
- 1:09:54You get what from the government and you're stealing.
- 1:09:57Doesn't look so good for you. Sending you to Cuba.
- 1:09:59Yeah, no. Just get rid of them because
- 1:10:03then they're prisoners. They cost.
- 1:10:04I don't. Want I don't want prisoners.
- 1:10:05I want prisoners. That's another thing we can
- 1:10:07definitely talk about. Well, hold up.
- 1:10:08I want to hear about No, no, no. Real quick, what what?
- 1:10:12What are your views on immigrants?
- 1:10:14I mean, I feel like it's just that like, I feel like it's the
- 1:10:17the again idea it's it's impossible to enact, I guess,
- 1:10:21but the idea of like, Hey, people that are going to be
- 1:10:23productive and like assimilate while while holding to like
- 1:10:26their culture and values. Good guys, good women come on in
- 1:10:29100% and people that don't do anything and make it worse.
- 1:10:34You're going back home and residents, you're going to camp.
- 1:10:37Are you a Leech? Exactly.
- 1:10:40Why? I don't care what you look like.
- 1:10:42Yeah, Like, I know some people will be like, oh, what about
- 1:10:44this group of people? Are they doing good things?
- 1:10:47Like I want to live in a place where whatever.
- 1:10:50Anyway. And again, I know all this
- 1:10:51sounds ridiculous. We're talking about a world
- 1:10:54where I'm king. You don't want that because it
- 1:10:57probably means a lot of you can't do a lot of things and
- 1:10:59probably don't live here. Has there ever been a bald king?
- 1:11:03Like would the crown look cool on a bald head or would it be
- 1:11:05like it would look cool? Look at look at Josh zoom in and
- 1:11:10will not zoom in, but like if you're watching it look at
- 1:11:12josh's tired eyes. He's so tired, you guys, it's
- 1:11:15it's late. It's late for Joshy Poo.
- 1:11:17I'm. Getting.
- 1:11:17Sweepy, I'm getting sleepy. So yeah, politics.
- 1:11:25Anyway, no, but that I did want to talk about.
- 1:11:26One more thing. Go ahead.
- 1:11:27What are your thoughts on the death penalty?
- 1:11:29Oh, love it, love it. Live left, love.
- 1:11:31Here's the only thing is like, 'cause there was a while, there
- 1:11:34were me, me and the wife and me and my dad were watching, you
- 1:11:38know, that those strings of documentaries where it's like
- 1:11:41he's been on the death penalty line for 30 years.
- 1:11:44Turns out he didn't do it. And it's like, yeah, it's got to
- 1:11:49be. Like yo, we like we caught you
- 1:11:52in 4K. We know you did.
- 1:11:54This we know for sure. You did this dude that.
- 1:11:56Day we saw you steal the candy bar.
- 1:11:58With your dad, right, right, right.
- 1:12:01You evaded your tags for what? Two months.
- 1:12:04Two months. Dead.
- 1:12:06Firing No, no, but like legitimately when you hear
- 1:12:09someone like the crazier crimes that are like blatantly sinister
- 1:12:14and evil, it's like, yeah, you, I, I don't want to if if we
- 1:12:18don't kill you now someone in prison is going.
- 1:12:19To well, I think the worst somebody can, somebody could
- 1:12:21Google this, not you, Matt, but somebody watching this later.
- 1:12:24I think the most prolific serial killer in American history,
- 1:12:27First off, was a black man, which is very interesting.
- 1:12:31And I think he's still alive and has been on death row for like,
- 1:12:35a long time. There's no good.
- 1:12:37And also apparently a very kind man because especially at this
- 1:12:40point, he's like a sweet old man in prison.
- 1:12:42Yeah, Yeah. There's no reason at all for him
- 1:12:46to be alive. And again, I'm not, I'm not
- 1:12:49saying this necessarily even as a Christian.
- 1:12:50I'm just saying this again as king, King of the United States.
- 1:12:54Bye, bye. Hey, you were, oh, you were
- 1:12:56watching Kitty bow. All right, next one, we're going
- 1:13:00to go through a lot of bullets, but eventually we'll run out of
- 1:13:02people. Will get.
- 1:13:03Better things will get better. That's that's the other thing is
- 1:13:07people are like the the prison system is so bad.
- 1:13:09It's like, yeah, it could be, could just be death.
- 1:13:11Too many, too many. There is too many.
- 1:13:14Also, and I'm going to bring this as a, as just a random
- 1:13:17final thing, I would bring back a lot of asylums because I think
- 1:13:21whenever you track and you see, whenever the US government
- 1:13:24closed down the bulk of the mental asylums in this country,
- 1:13:27you saw a huge increase in a lot of homeless people.
- 1:13:30And you saw a huge, which I'm not, I'm not like saying
- 1:13:32homeless people are evil or whatever, but there's a lot of
- 1:13:35people, they're evil. There's a lot of people on the
- 1:13:37streets who need care and they don't have it.
- 1:13:40Not even necessarily mental care.
- 1:13:41That goes back to the the universal healthcare thing, but
- 1:13:44if there were well maintained mental asylums I think the
- 1:13:49country would be in a better position.
- 1:13:51Whenever we capture a guy that's got about two terabytes worth
- 1:13:57and we just give them the death penalty, yeah, then we have more
- 1:14:00taxpayer dollars to fund asylums for people that are actually
- 1:14:03just like, need help? Amen.
- 1:14:04What if? Amen brother.
- 1:14:06Do you guys want us to? I would also like to have an
- 1:14:08ASMR episode. We got to get the illegals out
- 1:14:12in here, we got to send them back.
- 1:14:14Oh my, like that over combined Republican ASMR?
- 1:14:18Do you want to be? Do you want to be the Democrat
- 1:14:19or do you want to? Be the I'll be the Democrat.
- 1:14:22We got a eyes on black trans. He wants.
- 1:14:27He wants a lot of trans athletes.
- 1:14:30He wants them in the bathroom. Jesus Christ was a socialist.
- 1:14:36We got to send them. We got to take all the trans
- 1:14:38people and put them in a caravan, send them down to to
- 1:14:41Guatemala. We got to take all this people
- 1:14:45and make them trans. Donald Trump, that's the new
- 1:14:48person. Donald Trump is anointed by God.
- 1:14:51Donald Trump Trump is, is gay. Donald Trump is not gay.
- 1:14:57That's not true. You know how like on TikTok they
- 1:15:01have the versus battles. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:03So it's it's Democrat ASMR versus that would.
- 1:15:08Make so much luck. We should do that.
- 1:15:11They just bankroll a mansion. Look at the shirt.
- 1:15:15He has on. It's a jersey, but it's blue.
- 1:15:18Yes, because IG he wears he wears another man's name on his
- 1:15:22back. Football is very pretty gay.
- 1:15:25You'll like football. You'll vote for the Republicans,
- 1:15:28I'll tell you that much. I've never seen a Democrat.
- 1:15:30They have to more than £200 but. If you like football in a
- 1:15:34gradual vote, Democrat. James Talarico at his balls cut
- 1:15:37off my purpose. I got James's balls and got to
- 1:15:40put on my body. I have 4 balls balls now then
- 1:15:44this doesn't seem natural. I that doesn't man cut this next
- 1:15:48part. This is my favorite.
- 1:16:01That's my favorite. I love.
- 1:16:05Oh my gosh, this episodes are going for so long.
- 1:16:06The entire episode, it's going to be at this.
- 1:16:08Part. Yup, Yup.
- 1:16:12Oh man. Dude, that's Oh my gosh, that
- 1:16:15was great. Hey man, can we?
- 1:16:16RIP this back. We can 100% RIP this back.
- 1:16:18You got a story? Yeah, I do have a story.
- 1:16:20I do have a story. So I used to work at A at a
- 1:16:24before and after school Christian daycare.
- 1:16:27At one point I was a teacher. And then eventually I
- 1:16:29essentially became like the vice principal anyway, doesn't
- 1:16:33matter. While I was a teacher there one
- 1:16:35morning, because again, before and after school, 1 morning, we
- 1:16:38were getting the kids together and we were about to release.
- 1:16:41We were about to release all the children.
- 1:16:43And as we were doing so, a wonderful woman who was a little
- 1:16:47bit off, I'm going to call her Miss Rachel.
- 1:16:51Miss Rachel. She grabs the microphone and
- 1:16:56just unprompted, she goes, hey, guys, just want you to know
- 1:17:00whenever your teachers tell you about dinosaurs, those are all
- 1:17:04lies and they never existed. And then she put the microphone
- 1:17:08down and walked away. And the rest of us teachers were
- 1:17:10like, what are we supposed to do with that?
- 1:17:14How are you gonna? Well, did you pull nothing?
- 1:17:16That pack sucks, dude. That's a garbage pack.
- 1:17:19She did that, you know. God bless Miss Rachel.
- 1:17:22She was a middle-aged woman going through a divorce.
- 1:17:26She had a lot going on. Her ex for.
- 1:17:28Sure likes dinosaurs 100%. He was probably a
- 1:17:31paleontologist. And she was like, it's all fake
- 1:17:34and a little gay, but what are you going to do?
- 1:17:37And that was, you know, I had, I had, I was a teacher over the
- 1:17:412nd and 3rd graders. She went up there and said that
- 1:17:44and they looked at me and I was like, I was like, just which we
- 1:17:48could talk. You don't believe dinosaurs
- 1:17:49existed, right? You think dinosaurs are fake?
- 1:17:52Are you being funny or are you being for real?
- 1:17:54Well, you, you have some certain thoughts about dinosaurs, right?
- 1:17:57Genuinely. I think dinosaurs existed.
- 1:18:01Public school. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:18:03Sorry. Yeah.
- 1:18:05But like, I, it, it goes back to, I think first like the new
- 1:18:08Earth, old Earth conversation, which I feel like I've heard
- 1:18:12better cases now for like new Earth, which I feel like it
- 1:18:16completely destroys dinosaur arguments.
- 1:18:17But I'm still older and so it's tough to be like, hey, all these
- 1:18:23fossils. I'm not saying that they had to
- 1:18:24look like that, but like, I don't think Satan put them there
- 1:18:27to confuse us like some Christians may, may say, have
- 1:18:31you heard that before? Like people be like Satan.
- 1:18:33Put the bones in the ground. I think I've heard that from
- 1:18:35you, Like making fun of those people.
- 1:18:37Not like, you know, espousing that, but yeah.
- 1:18:40So I I'm pro dinosaur. Back to the politics.
- 1:18:44Frankly, they they probably existed and they were very
- 1:18:48sweet. The Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- 1:18:49Man, wouldn't it be great if the government wasn't genuinely
- 1:18:52satanic pedophiles and they were just making like Jurassic Park
- 1:18:55and they're like, we've been taking, I can't do a Trump we've
- 1:18:59been taking. Do a joke.
- 1:19:04Hey, Slick. Spinosaurus.
- 1:19:08Hey, Jack, we've been. Taking what?
- 1:19:09What? What?
- 1:19:10Joe Spinosaurus made a Spinosaurus.
- 1:19:14OK, well, he's off his route. No, we actually have.
- 1:19:15We actually have been making. We made a Spinosaurus.
- 1:19:18It's on an island. It's a Velociraptor.
- 1:19:22It's a velocifinosaurus. Why?
- 1:19:24It's it? So we actually took a
- 1:19:26Velociraptor and a Spinosaurus and we.
- 1:19:27Sleepy Joe can't even say the word dinosaur.
- 1:19:30I can say the word dinosaur three times in a row.
- 1:19:32Dinosaur, dinosaur, dinosaur. I brought it Sleepy Joe.
- 1:19:35He's actually, it's actually in the back.
- 1:19:37I've seen his wife, she looks like a dinosaur.
- 1:19:39It's very sad, frankly. That's something he would say
- 1:19:42You. No, but it that would be way
- 1:19:46cooler. That would be.
- 1:19:47It's always like, I wish our government was evil, like Lex
- 1:19:50Luthor, not like, you know what I mean?
- 1:19:53Like super villain. Yeah, They're like, we're going
- 1:19:56to destroy the moon. That'd be way cooler than like,
- 1:19:58we're like touching kids and eating and then it's like.
- 1:20:01Yeah. Oh my gosh.
- 1:20:03I'd rather you touch the moon than touch kids.
- 1:20:04Literally blow the moon up. Couldn't care less.
- 1:20:07I don't care. Oh.
- 1:20:07I mean that would that would kill us.
- 1:20:09It wouldn't kill us. How would it kill us 'cause
- 1:20:12doesn't the the moon regulates according to Globe?
- 1:20:16Matt, can you look this up? If we if the moon got blown up,
- 1:20:18would we? Yeah, ask Google AI.
- 1:20:21Hey, what would happen if someone like blew up the moon?
- 1:20:24We're gonna get the cops are gonna come to our house.
- 1:20:26What are you doing? You guys were talking about
- 1:20:27Israel and blowing up the moon. Oh, Cop ASMR. OK, Get on the
- 1:20:33Queen. It would not be good.
- 1:20:35Sure. OK.
- 1:20:36Cop ASMR. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:20:38OK. Hold up.
- 1:20:39You be the you're the cop. He's no one phrase.
- 1:20:44He's got a gun. Blam, blam, get out of the
- 1:20:50ground. All units, those units, those
- 1:20:52aren't bullets are reloading. He shot up his pills.
- 1:20:59Does he have a gun? What is that?
- 1:21:02Oh, oh, oh. Too many balls.
- 1:21:11End the episode. Well, guys, Ben is having a
- 1:21:15heart attack. Oh shit.
- 1:21:17Oh. My God.
- 1:21:19Oh no stretch back. I know I'm OK.
- 1:21:26Guys, Ben's on the floor. We're going to end the episode
- 1:21:28now. He's OK.
- 1:21:29Can you give like a thumbs up? Can we we?
- 1:21:32Want to end? That thumbs up I'm.
- 1:21:34OK. Oh joshandthegiant.com.
- 1:21:38Oh. Hey, guys.
- 1:21:40He's OK, I promise. All right.
- 1:21:44Also mess up that chair for sure.
- 1:21:46Well, we I. Think.
- 1:21:49They ask you how you are, you just have to say that you're
- 1:21:51fine when you're not really fine, but you just can't get
- 1:21:53into it because they would never understand.
- 1:21:55I'm concerned you don't. Need to be.
- 1:21:57Concerned. Is the chair actually broken?
- 1:22:02Oh, I'm. Here.
- 1:22:03Matt step in guys. This is Matt while Ben's kind of
- 1:22:08working some stuff out on the floor.
- 1:22:10Well, this is how I planned it actually the whole time.
- 1:22:12Did you poison Ben? Anyway, no comment.
- 1:22:17Yeah. Cool, Matt.
- 1:22:20So what have you got for us? I think we should deport
- 1:22:25everyone. So just like empty land, like
- 1:22:29you know, once. You get back to the dictating.
- 1:22:34You're a Dick Cheney for the king.
- 1:22:36King Ben's Dick Cheney. I will shoot you in the chest,
- 1:22:40OK? Didn't he do that to somebody?
- 1:22:42He was like. Oh yeah, Didn't Dick Cheney, he
- 1:22:44did shoot somebody. He did shot him.
- 1:22:45In the face, I think, and. Then he was I thought it was the
- 1:22:47chest and. He was like, oh whoops, sorry.
- 1:22:49I thought he was like. But didn't the person live?
- 1:22:51Or did they? Yeah, he lived.
- 1:22:53Yeah, that's wild. We should have had him on the
- 1:22:55pod, not Dick Cheney. Oh, he's dead.
- 1:22:57The. Guy who?
- 1:22:58The guy who? Is Dick Cheney dead?
- 1:22:59I think Dick Cheney's dead. Oh yeah.
- 1:23:02Maybe you're right. Have you seen Vice movie?
- 1:23:04Vice no about Dick Cheney's life or with the watch.
- 1:23:08Is that what Christian Bale does He play Dick Cheney?
- 1:23:11Yeah, Fat. He got he got super fat.
- 1:23:13Yeah, I saw. Gosh, I feel.
- 1:23:15Like the drunk? That guy can do anything.
- 1:23:17He can do anything. Keep.
- 1:23:20You got fat in that one. The room spinning.
- 1:23:24Wow, it's actually it's. Actually, I think it's the
- 1:23:27Christian Ozempic he's taking. I told you guys he's on the
- 1:23:30Ozempic. Yeah, it wasn't me.
- 1:23:31It was. The room spinning and.
- 1:23:34That being said, I'm I'm on the Christian Ozempic too you.
- 1:23:37Know I got to document this. Yeah, this needs to be one of
- 1:23:39our tribe photos. Ben, give a thumbs up.
- 1:23:43I'm OK. Matt, look at the camera.
- 1:23:45Ben, one more thumbs up. Love it.
- 1:23:48Santa Claus just in the bag. Yeah, well, I guess that's the
- 1:23:53episode. That is the episode's abrupt
- 1:23:55ending. Our starting point guard just
- 1:23:58towards ACL so we don't have a backup.
- 1:24:00Jameis Winston, didn't he do that?
- 1:24:03Jameis at one point, Not now. I was talking about like a few
- 1:24:05years ago. Maybe, probably they're all
- 1:24:08those guys just tear their ACL and.
- 1:24:10Everyone back. Everyone, is he back?
- 1:24:12I really thought I heard that, Chair.
- 1:24:14I think you just. Bro, I thought you were having a
- 1:24:15heart attack. No.
- 1:24:16I knew what was happening. So I mean, me too.
- 1:24:19I've done that before where like if I'm at a certain angle, yeah,
- 1:24:22like literally my stomach muscle was like having it was like
- 1:24:26having spasm. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:28But because I was and typically when I do that stretch.
- 1:24:30Just got to stretch it out, yeah.
- 1:24:32Because I was like a cramp more started.
- 1:24:35More cramps all the muscles. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:38Well, how do you, how do you usually end this bend?
- 1:24:42How should I? Oh, that's not good.
- 1:24:44I bet you just Is it coming back?
- 1:24:45You want to rest for a second? Yeah, stretch out.
- 1:24:48Hey, guys. Thanks.
- 1:24:49They can hear me. Hey.
- 1:24:50Yeah, mouth it. Hey, guys.
