- 5:18[SPEAKER_04]: sad in the studio with white a blue some years back we interviewed him and he was such a friend of the North country in water town passed away over the weekend at age 83 at his home in Braitens in Florida now all of you're some reason it's not really of interest to the mainstream media but boy
- 5:37[SPEAKER_04]: In the south of my voice, there's a lot of people who met Tommy John and had very fond memories of them, so certainly condolences to the family, you know, he's got a nephew who works at Channel 50 and certainly to the lovely Cheryl his wife on her loss as well.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_04]: So 288 wins.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_04]: Why the hell isn't he in the Hall ofity?
- 5:59[SPEAKER_04]: You know, dizzy deans in the Hall of Fame and he only had 150 wins.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_04]: co-fax not too many more but I know white co-fax is any he certainly was remarkable for those for the period and time he was there But why isn't Tommy John in all of fame with 280 wins?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's be politics or something.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, also over the weekend we learned we learned
- 6:28[SPEAKER_04]: uh... the city council tonight will approve a settlement agreement with the hodge family jeffry hodge husband of caron hodge she's a woman who was uh... killed last summer in july up in the park she knows me writing their e-bikes they were coming down the hill from where the golf course is towards go tham street
- 6:50[SPEAKER_04]: speed bumps, which nobody knew were really there, but they'd been put there, and they'd been city had been warned about them, but they were there, and Mrs. Hodge went over it, uh, got thrown from the bike at her head and died.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, and then, um, a few days later, they moved the signs.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but there was very little comment about it,
- 7:18[SPEAKER_04]: And by the dissem, I think, fall of last year, a notice of claim had been filed.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_04]: That's the first step towards litigation.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_04]: It's not litigation, or step towards it.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_04]: That was amended.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_04]: I think, a January, and then all of a sudden earlier this month, there was a mediation session held, and I guess Mr. Wagner agreed to a million 75,000.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_04]: Plus there's the incidentals, and anyone's to borrow for it, borrow it.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we disagree with that.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: Um, they're going to approve the settlement, we disagree with the borrowing.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_04]: They have the money, and all that is is pushing the debt off to some future chime when everybody who says they are now will be gone.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_04]: That's not a good idea.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_04]: Let me give you the example.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say your water heater goes out.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_04]: 12 hundred bucks to get it fixed, you know, Jesus, you got 17,000 in the bank.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_04]: Now, do you go over the water town saving spank on a get a five-year loan so you can get your water heater, or do you just buy the damn thing, and then try to save money over the coming months to replenish your savings.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_04]: I would say just you should just pay it, yeah, but what do I know, what do I know,
- 8:44[SPEAKER_04]: uh... so anyway there are people who let me give you some opinions on the settlement some people say a great job you really city came out good on that but Brian it remember Brian Ashley came in here the other day head of the friends of the park well he wasn't happy with it on facebook after reading of the settlement
- 9:12[SPEAKER_04]: Proposed settlement it'll be approved tonight five probably five nothing Maybe maybe Maybe shown a vote now because he's the last one of votes and it doesn't matter at that point, but it I think it'll be five nothing Brian Ashley former channel seven anchour nice guy very I like Brian.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: I really do I'm not a hater He said quote, where's the culpability of the riders?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_04]: Then he goes on to save the navigated, the speed bumps recklessly, his word, not Jeff Graham's, his word.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_04]: Then he goes on to save a bad and sad precedent for the city to cave to this kind of legal extortion.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_04]: While legal extortion, his words, Brian Ashley's words, not mine, not Jeff Graham, not Glenn Curry.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_04]: Let's make it clear who's saying it.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_04]: It's got a point, of course you could use the way it works.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_04]: You can, I was in one of these legal extortion things a few months ago.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_04]: So what happens is, the law of firm in this case, bond-sheninking king drags it out for a while.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: They're billing y'all at the time.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_04]: And then all of a sudden they say, well, you know, this goes to trial.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_04]: I think we can get them to settle for in this case a million seventy five thousand because the trial you'll spend more than that with us so we'll let you just go home get it over with and move on that's how it works some people say settlements are the way of the world you got to do that some and sometimes you look at the monetary burns i.e.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_04]: i don't want to continue doing this it's aggravating you know it's something more to worry about just give them their money
- 11:08[SPEAKER_05]: give them the money and move on.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_04]: Now a million seventy five thousand.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how it's structured on the plate of side.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_04]: It didn't go to trial so it may not be the normal one-third thing.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_04]: That usually that's reserved for if it gets further along.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_04]: But you know whatever it is.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_04]: Then the city, you got to look at the amount the city has spent.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_04]: And then, if you borrow it, you got to go have bond counsel and all these other things to spend money on plus the interest, and you do push it out over five years for most of the people on that council to be gone by then.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: The city manager will be gone by then, and I don't think that's a good idea.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, it start making, and make cuts if you have to, you know, if you're afraid to get rid of anybody,
- 11:59[SPEAKER_04]: You know, privately council members will say they want to get rid of this person or that, but they won't say it publicly, but just over the months, months ahead, as vacancies occurred, don't fill them.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_06]: That's simple.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_06]: That's simple.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_04]: But council will fall in line tonight.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know what you think about.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_04]: You may not even know about it.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_06]: I was just watching the news on Channel 7.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_06]: I even see the story.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_04]: They led with an CBS network piece on the Middle East.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_04]: I know you just get in there at 20 to 12 in the hands of a script, but come on.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_04]: You get plenty of local news that were two fires, one on the way.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_04]: They did cover that black river of states, right?
- 12:45[SPEAKER_05]: There was a garage fire in Laoville.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_05]: It's a video of that too.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_04]: It's these days you can send in video.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see what they're talking about now.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_04]: that and there was nothing about Tommy John that I saw in God Tommy John's but on that station of tonner chance.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what to say.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_03]: We got a call here but after doing you're on the air.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_03]: I think this speed bump thing so it's a very bad press account.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_04]: Really?
- 13:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I do, because what are you going to do when e-bike goes into one of these foot-deep powerholes and foot-to-wheel-up-side down backwards or whatever?
- 13:31[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: Then they're going to get another million there or something.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's a bad procrastination for not being aware of what you're doing.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I, in a way, yes, but on the other hand, the circumstances were the one in the park.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: there's a pothole and the city had no advance notice of it yet they can get out of it more easily so i don't really know but i do here's a little fast in the park i don't know what the speed zone is right i was an hour prime max i mean that's the maximum speed limit and uh... that you're supposed to be doing under if you're good how can you head a speed bump and flip over and crack at open pass away
- 14:16[SPEAKER_03]: I have to tragedy no doubt about it, but also, I mean, there's a lot of others.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_04]: I know, I know, so you're, well put you down as a, you're, you're agreeing with Brian Ashley.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, thank you.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_04]: I gotta run.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_04]: I gotta call.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_04]: But after doing you're on the air, oh, we lost somebody.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't really know what to say to the gentleman.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_04]: It's circumstances of every matter of different.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_04]: And just because you had something bad happens to him, we live in a society where you think, oh, I stubbed my toe, I deserve money.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_04]: No, you don't.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_04]: But in a litigious, what's in it for me, society, where we live, these things go on and on, I don't know.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_04]: But after noon you're on the air.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I disagree with Mr. Ashwin here.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_07]: What I understand on that speed bump, the sign for put up after the speed bump was put in place on my right on that.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, I believe they were moved afterwards.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_04]: And then they bumps were removed themselves this past spring.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_07]: the signs were there, is that correct?
- 15:20[SPEAKER_04]: No, the bumps?
- 15:22[SPEAKER_04]: There's I understand that the bumps were there and there was a sign right next to the bump.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: There was no sign in advance of the bump.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: Normally, if there was an irregularity in the road, you'll say, you know, a hole in the road 100 feet ahead or something.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that was my complaint, the signs were too close to the bumps.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_07]: But I agree with you, Mayor, better off the panel often move on, because you're going to get
- 15:47[SPEAKER_07]: down the road.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we've got a fiscal problem in the city.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_04]: They keep talking about it, and the wreck day of reckoning is in 2030, and to just continue to incur all of this long-term debt for short-term expenses, I think when you get stuck with something like this, sometimes you've got to dip into what money you have and try to replenish it later.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_04]: That's the way I look at it.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_04]: I know all the professionals and the managers and the controllers all say, oh, let's borrow for it.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: But that whole borrowing industry from municipalities is a racket and it costs a lot of money in the long run.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: Now there are projects you have to borrow for, but you don't go out and buy a, I mean, they didn't borrow when they built that door, which wasn't budgeted.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they just build it.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_07]: friends the same guy that said I was wrong on the bat and so came out of the show and said I'm wrong on the bat my point on the bat and he's up there to door from the outside of the bat house mayor you know what I'm talking about yes to get into the bat man room is locked it's locked in the tour clock and he happened to only flock to six o'clock at night so we'll tell me that doors unlocked at night
- 17:09[SPEAKER_04]: Well, what's wrong with that?
- 17:11[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to do it.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_07]: What's the door there for?
- 17:14[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_07]: Why is there a door there?
- 17:18[SPEAKER_07]: That's right, all the freaking time.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_07]: Well, that was my point.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_07]: So, don't tell me I'm wrong on it, Brian.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not wrong.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_07]: I've been up there.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_07]: I've seen it.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_19]: Hmm.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_07]: That was my point, Mayor.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_07]: Why have a door there?
- 17:37[SPEAKER_07]: What's it there for?
- 17:40[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not going through the front office to go with a mental.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_07]: What would you people that?
- 17:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_07]: What are your things there on the Tommy John situation, not the port of the Hall of Fame, after he's passed away?
- 17:55[SPEAKER_07]: That's the way they do things.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_04]: Shouldn't be that way in his case.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_04]: He should be in there.
- 18:00[UNKNOWN]: He should be in there.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_07]: He's a guy that couldn't break a pain in class, but he could get you out.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_04]: Wicked Saker and he won 20 games three or four times the man could pitch Yep 26 season yeah, well, I think the other thing I think is Ground-breaking surgery which is later called Tommy John surgery
- 18:31[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, I talked to people last night I said about Tommy John is a who's Tommy.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_04]: We live in such an uninformed society.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_07]: It wasn't me John.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't even on the news here.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_04]: And the local news in that guy was all over this community.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, he was.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he could be a good girl.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_07]: He could get people out.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_07]: He knew how to get pitch.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_07]: He played when the game was good.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_07]: He had no respect for today's game.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_07]: I agree with him.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_07]: All the nonsense they got is you got too many teams.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_07]: Now you got that strike zone thing.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_07]: Everybody's in the same union.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_07]: Everybody's body body.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_07]: If you pay a guy 20 million dollars to get one out of 19 and then make a big deal about it.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_07]: You can't even give a guy to go 100 innings.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_07]: Can't finish all the 325 innings.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_07]: First year.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_07]: First year of mayor co-fax 330 innings.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_04]: One, I warned spawn all those people.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it was Danny McLean in the American League in 1968, yeah, nationally, got a note.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_04]: Because he didn't, but he only had 150 career wins and they put him in the Hall of Fame.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_07]: He had five years.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_07]: He was a toper, a game.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_07]: He's coming after he threw hard fastball, 34 wins, and he played for the 1930 Forecast
- 19:57[SPEAKER_07]: Well, yeah, I mean, Well, another thing, the ghost runner, that's true.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_04]: No, you make fail all that.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_07]: The white was for a while.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_07]: You just had different empires.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_04]: Who the hell is the commissioner now?
- 20:33[SPEAKER_04]: No, no idea.
- 20:35[UNKNOWN]: Now, per be who it is to be honest with you.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they put in those, those, uh, ghost runners and extra innings.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you don't have to...
- 20:43[SPEAKER_04]: The automatic walker, you don't have to throw the four balls.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_04]: That was always fun.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_04]: No, no.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_07]: This is true about your analytics people who don't know baseball from a tennis ball telling them how to manage a baseball team It's a game you manage from the city you pay it's the way it used to be done Yeah, I know it's not a sports show So let's get back to Mr. Andrew their mayor Well, no, no, I appreciate your opinions, but so your opinions They'll be putting now ready fast when you do that a lot with certain people they don't want to
- 21:19[SPEAKER_07]: but he below is Jim Kai you five member Jim Kai are pretty much the same status John he's in there but I think you're right a lot of it was followed to who John you mean because he's a Republican you like Mr. Trump a lot of conservative law it is so background I believe oh okay where we curse showing another perfect example he and all he made some statements on
- 21:48[SPEAKER_07]: can't fight it out now we're with great right handed pictures in the history of the game look as record a big game picture if you had a big game to win personally said stop you missed for Tony Romo had a couple cocktails too many and they fired him yeah 18 million dollars just sit on your button do you know he's one of the worst caller commentators drive it crazy you're talking on stop Tony for four quarters take a breath exactly

- 25:45[SPEAKER_04]: Crazy Ray, how are you?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty good.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_05]: You know, these bathroom things.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_05]: Remember when you just have the little bathroom antenna guy set in there?
- 25:56[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, no.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_05]: Well, they used to do it.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, the fairground even does it.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_05]: That's a fairground here, the state fairground, and they can't bounce in my tendons.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I've been to fancy restaurants for, yeah.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes the people are volunteers in there.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: Really?
- 26:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I don't want a volunteer for that, but remember, you go to a...
- 26:14[SPEAKER_05]: It's fine to eat it, but I bet you there's a bump.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_05]: There's probably at least a dozen people that would volunteer to sit in the bathrooms and hang you out of paper tower, whatever, and tell you don't do stupid things.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_04]: Right, and you're supposed to tip them too, of course.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_05]: That's why they volunteer, which I, you know what, I almost think I'd work that job, because you know, I'd be I'd have my little cup there I'd get you a Coleman stuff and yeah, yeah, well, I don't really know.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_05]: I really think it's something that might work out I just, you know, you don't think you'd have to tell somebody that the bathroom is just to use as a bathroom But yeah, what do you what do you what do you think of a speed bump settlement?
- 26:59[SPEAKER_05]: I heard something about what you guys were talking about, there it is, I guess I wasn't aware that somebody was killed by a speed bomb, but... Wow.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_05]: I guess I wasn't aware of that.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if it's actually probably been hiding, I guess.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_05]: Well, yeah, it seems like a crazy thing.
- 27:21[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:22[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:22[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_05]: next thing you know you're you're killed by the that's the tater over there to go to school because you are paying attention yeah is anybody responsible for themselves anymore no no they're not and I wonder why yeah remember when you go outside and get on the back of your pick up and you're dad would just drive away and you'd enjoy yourself
- 27:54[SPEAKER_04]: Well, thank you.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_05]: I can drink out of the holes.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_04]: Can't do that anymore.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: No, no.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: No, no.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: I would be some horror.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_05]: Another happy piece.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_05]: Brilliant myself.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_04]: There's no doubt about it.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_04]: You don't want to do certain things.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_04]: Well, Ray, thank you.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_04]: I got to keep running here.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_05]: All right.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks a lot.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_04]: I know.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, somebody.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_04]: I got looking at our texts.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody said here, what did they say?
- 28:20[SPEAKER_04]: Didn't a judge rule always to be streets up in the park, don't you?
- 28:23[SPEAKER_04]: Don't think you can put a speed bump on a street, can you?
- 28:27[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, generally no, you wouldn't want it.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_04]: It's the expectation.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_04]: Say, should she have been more careful, should she have done this?
- 28:35[SPEAKER_04]: Well, probably, but, um, you know, for all of us who've gone up and down those roads for years and then all of a sudden, and I talked to another guy who had a car,
- 28:47[SPEAKER_04]: and really jarred up as well so i mean i don't know i mean there's always we say well if you know if erics said we need to speed bump then we should have one but and they still won't say who approved it or who put it in or who advocated for it i don't know if it was friends of the park or the planning department i suspect from Brian's statement there it sounds like he's a defender of the speed bump but after doing here on the air yeah i would like to go back to the introduction to your show
- 29:16[SPEAKER_13]: But when you said Brian Ashley accused that, I don't remember exactly what you used to word extortion.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_13]: The city was extorted out of money to pay for the lady.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let me read it.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_04]: Let me read it to you again.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_04]: A bad, a bad, and listen to me.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_04]: A bad and sad precedent for the city to cave to this kind of legal extortion.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_13]: Okay.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_13]: That's not extortion.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_13]: Extortion is a criminal offense.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_13]: So this is hold it right there, okay, and I think he should come on the air to apologize for that family Under the conditions there were yes was not extortion because that is a criminal expect a fence on the wall We're someone illegally gets money property or services from another person or a group Do the threats force or intimidation Gary and Gary stop he should come on to apologize.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_13]: I explain that.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_04]: Why doubt he's going to my God
- 30:17[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_13]: That was not my topic though.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, I sent you a text earlier.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_18]: Mm-hmm.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_13]: Uh, uh, uh, social, uh, social, uh, post-fight Mr. Trump and President Trump.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_13]: Do you read that about North Korea?
- 30:33[SPEAKER_04]: No, but I said, he probably said something stupid, and I probably agree with you.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_04]: So he said stupid.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_13]: He's canceling the operation, Angela, uh,
- 30:45[SPEAKER_13]: military operation in Korea between the U.S. forces in South Korea has been going on for 25 years.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_13]: I used to participate in those two.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_13]: They're conducted down there.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_13]: They're not anywhere near the DMC.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_13]: They're conducted down by Po-Hong, where the Korean Marine Corps division in the station.
- 31:03[UNKNOWN]: And we came over there for O-Knowville.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_19]: We landed it or did it or did it.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_13]: So, training would have you.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_13]: It's an animal of mine called O-Ju-Fulcuses in called the operation.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_13]: I wish he would read that on the air and the people know why he told that offer he told the headships to cut back that operation and not make it so long to reduce it right now.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_13]: He says he's, you know, I said he's doing it?
- 31:29[SPEAKER_04]: Because of his great relations with Jim, whatever.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_13]: Jim?
- 31:33[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, exactly what he said.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_13]: With my, I forget to exact wording, but it was something like, uh,
- 31:40[SPEAKER_13]: was my wonderful relationship over here with the Kim Jong-un.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_13]: I want you to cut back the operation there.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_13]: So he said that with my very good relationship with Kim Jong-un in our career.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_13]: Kim Jong-un to kill her.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: I got her.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_13]: He's a tyrant.
- 31:58[UNKNOWN]: He had his own uncle killed.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_13]: He had his own half-brother killed.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_13]: is now providing over 200,000 troops to Russia to fight against Ukraine.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not here to argue about noise Korea, Danny.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, we all know he's a bad dude.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: We're here to talk about local.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_13]: You don't seem to stress the importance of this issue as with U.S. and rock relations when it comes to...
- 32:21[SPEAKER_04]: There's a thousand talk shows and podcasts on every day to talk about that.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's not.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_04]: There's a thousand talk shows in podcast and cable nets to talk about that crap every day.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, just talk about it.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, we should be very concerned about it.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_04]: Well, all right.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_04]: You've noted your concern.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_04]: I got to get some calls in, though.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_04]: I don't like to sound like I'm being rude to Danny or caught him off.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_04]: So don't start that nonsense.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_04]: But I understand what Trump does.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_04]: You know, there's a lot of dumb things he says.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_04]: Incidentally, you know that stuff about the US as Lincoln.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_04]: and all the carrying on that CNN did.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_04]: I guess there was one sailor who fell overboard, fell overboard, and they rescued him.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_04]: They weren't jumping over like lemmings or something like the media reported.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_04]: So you can't believe everything you read anyway.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_04]: And the link in it's going back to port anyway.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_04]: Local items.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: Wanna talk about the speed bumps in the park?
- 33:23[SPEAKER_04]: Wanna talk about the passing of Johnny Tommy John
- 33:29[SPEAKER_04]: I know that's not what the mainstream media, you know, we don't lead with a CBS news piece on the hotline about something that happened elsewhere, just not how we do things here.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_04]: So, I had to say that in politics and as congressional race, I see the latest thing is Anthony Constantino says he's going to sue Channel 13 in Albany over that polling commission
- 34:00[SPEAKER_04]: Ever heard the expression you only pulled matters is November 5th and we're working towards that and all that Pull from Channel 13 does is say it's a it's a competitive race and I'm gonna be very competitive You don't sit there and threaten to sue a member of Trump tried to want to sue the Des Moines register over all But after noon you're on the air Yeah, I don't miss to be out.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_11]: What's up Oh, the egg you guys ate you guys eat Now we are
- 34:29[SPEAKER_11]: and then he calls and he's fairly calm.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_11]: I think that was blood pressure can't go up again.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_11]: Anyways, I just moved and we can't be the place to open.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_11]: They'll get the animalized, like today you start and they may be a bunch of people sleeping in here.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_11]: Unless you can't super-rise, like you said, like we had a panic there, you can't leave it open.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_11]: It just can't, uh, it takes us around job with the animalized.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know really I haven't been in the restroom there, so I don't know what it how it's structured, but Mr. Ashley said you can go in during regular during the day during regular pool hours and he says that after the pool closes They unlock the outside door, but they close it later because they don't want people to vandalize it, so I don't know.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_11]: I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there, I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there and I was there
- 35:57[SPEAKER_11]: Give it to the shell digs and then go through the private channels.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_11]: Go get it.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_04]: That's why thank you for the day.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_04]: I know.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_04]: If you want to go shopping for new blue jeans, go to the veterans walkway there.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_04]: That project turned out to be of dubious value.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_04]: It was certainly well-intentioned.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_04]: I remember the whole debate developing the river this.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_04]: That was an amazing closing
- 36:27[SPEAKER_04]: And then the other problem down there is the fully it's grown so much.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_04]: You can't really see the river and it would take tremendous resources to keep it clear it out.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_04]: And the rest room's way down.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_04]: Who's going to go down there to take on whatever I don't think so?
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: Well intention didn't work.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_04]: Open it up, make it a street, then you got people going through there.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_04]: People are going through, there's less likely to have crime.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_04]: Would you walk down, which would tell you a daughter to walk down that street?
- 36:59[SPEAKER_04]: The way it is now.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_04]: You know, hey, honey, the rest room's down.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_04]: But no way.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_04]: No way.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_04]: But if you bring up the subject, you're making it a street.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_04]: They said, oh, well, you know, the DOT says, can't do it.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_04]: So leave it to the way it is.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_04]: We've had murders down there.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_04]: didn't we?
- 37:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_04]: But after you're doing it on the air.
- 37:24[UNKNOWN]: So leave it the way.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_06]: Hello, Jeff.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Peter Monaco, former counselor, your former deputy DPW guy, right?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_06]: I was for 30 plus years.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_06]: I've got this, I've been listening in the hall.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_06]: To speak, well, it was me, Phil, when the project and the park today,
- 37:47[SPEAKER_06]: there was a five and a three or four years ago.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_06]: There was a speed bump 20 in the Franklin Street entrance was a rubber one, second minute tight.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_06]: Speed bump properly signed.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_06]: And there was a cult, the city had put some of those in, and I could say, come to mind this Marshall place and people would keep merchants on that.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_06]: you know, rain or plan against you.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_06]: But it is there.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: Mr. Monica, is there a difference?
- 38:23[SPEAKER_04]: That parking lot is a parking lot.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_04]: You often see them in there.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_04]: Um, these are city streets up in the park.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_04]: And you can say they're not, but they've been deemed city streets by the courts.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, they were added to the street registry.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I don't know, either night.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_06]: There weren't always city streets.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_06]: to increase the number of miles.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_04]: I know.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_06]: Game of City, more money is just something.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_04]: Now, as I recall, there was a case involving a guy that got arrested up there, and the probable cause was that he was in the park after nine o'clock, and that was the probable cause for the arrest.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_04]: And the court, City Court Judge Palermo rule, no, those are public streets.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_04]: So merely being on the street is not probable cause.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_04]: And I thought it was a good ruling.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_04]: I think they are streets.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_04]: So there I don't care about what happened then.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_04]: I want you to know what you thought of the series of events that led to the million dollar plus that they're going to spend tonight.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_06]: What I started to tell you was they originally had a steep bump through a make-up system project three or four years ago.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_06]: You'll notice there's a path across the bottom of what
- 39:45[SPEAKER_06]: There was a 7-speed box, or 8-8-speed box, and it was a one-year put-down in the spring take up before a winter.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I think it was taken off, and I don't believe that one was ever put fast, and the permanent one was put in, and then the one was put in, put in on a canopy right there, and it was a steep drop down to lump the bump, down to a cataract, down to a cataract down to a cataract, down to a cataract, down to a cataract, down to a cataract, down to a
- 40:14[SPEAKER_06]: And like, there's that's Jeff Graham Parkway isn't it now?
- 40:19[SPEAKER_04]: I believe so, yeah.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_06]: Well, okay, so it's where you cross Jeff Graham Parkway and then someone decided to put a permanent one in there in the permanent one in uh, follow on it.
- 40:33[UNKNOWN]: I'm by Goulson, I'm Goulson Street by the park.
- 40:37[UNKNOWN]: The lady
- 40:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'm fortunate situation, you know, the city got all $4 million.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what they would have got.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_06]: They probably might end up paying it, but it's a crash.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_06]: So they took what you, you know you had a settlement, and you were here wrong with it.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_06]: So... Now, who am I?
- 41:07[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, who made the decision to put the speed bumps in these permanent speed bumps that we're taking out last spring?
- 41:16[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know who made that decision.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_06]: Somebody, you know, public works to my knowledge installed.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 41:25[UNKNOWN]: Who won up and installed them?
- 41:28[UNKNOWN]: They never put the temporary one back on Franklin.
- 41:32[UNKNOWN]: Right.
- 41:34[UNKNOWN]: They made that a permanent one.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_06]: And I know that there was kind of a pain in the neck for the guys to plow up there in the winter.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_06]: And they got a bunch of results that didn't spring.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_06]: I went up there one day they were gone.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_06]: And they were installed.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_06]: And I hit the one on goals of feet by the golf course.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_06]: And I didn't know right.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_06]: They've been a steep bumpside there for a while.
- 41:59[UNKNOWN]: But they had finally been there a long time.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_04]: Well, okay, what the speed bumps do is delineate where crosswalk is on this trail Couldn't you just use road markings and a sign a couple hundred feet back saying crosswalk ahead?
- 42:17[SPEAKER_06]: Well, there is a crosswalk sign there.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's if the illegal crosswalk it has to be signed properly I don't know.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_06]: I can't remember this.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_06]: I wasn't working with this app
- 42:30[SPEAKER_06]: So the alt cross was must be marked with a particular signage and sometimes So you're on here.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_04]: You ran for city council last year.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_04]: You barely lost.
- 42:44[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_04]: Part of the reason is I think because you pissed off city hall and they made sure that you lost.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
- 42:51[SPEAKER_06]: What tax to your opinion, I guess, but I don't know if that's the possibility there.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, well, they were very hard to make sure.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_06]: critical of getting the rest of the city's refuge.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_06]: That's what started to whole thing.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_06]: I think it was a wonderful system that works, and they kept falling around, and they drove more customers away.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_18]: Now they're trying to get them back.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_06]: And I thought that was poor, okay?
- 43:21[SPEAKER_06]: It was idea that was, I don't know.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_04]: And I guess you support the idea of the settlement, you support the idea of borrowing the payout.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_06]: It's a tough one.
- 43:38[UNKNOWN]: That's a tough one.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_06]: I'd have to see, you know, I'd make sure if one balance is probably 15, 16 million dollars, they have appropriated one balance.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_06]: You know, in the school board, we have a suit one time, and we ended up paying a person $9,000, because we're already into it.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_06]: This is years ago.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_06]: 25 or 30 grand with the attorneys and all the investigations and if we had gone to court we were going to pay him a bunch more so to buy him another new Mercedes we settled for the 90,000 dollars put it behind us and that's how the system works they put you in a period of anxiety or worried or whatever and then they say we can settle for this and if
- 44:28[SPEAKER_06]: on us then you would have just settling so you say let me give you my money and just get me out of it let me go home that's what that's what people do now in the public sector it's a little different because we spend the other people's money I get that but it's sort of a game or you keep working when you stop you know you go okay we can settle for a hundred grand we'll say in the court sometimes depending on some pathetic the jury is
- 44:57[SPEAKER_06]: I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on a, I was on
- 45:24[SPEAKER_06]: And once the judge was going to charge the jury, they settled that lunch time, the attorneys for the, yeah, I know.
- 45:31[UNKNOWN]: Sorry.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I know how I worked.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, listen.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's the Monica.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_04]: I have to go because I got a commercial to do.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_04]: But, uh, all right.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_06]: I just wanted to give you my two cents on the speech.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_04]: Well, your two cents is wonderful.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

- 48:51[SPEAKER_10]: Don't you ATN.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_04]: The news and talk authority.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I'm 1240.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_04]: We're just one more point before you.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_04]: coming here every day I come off of the bank on Clinton Street down right near David and drive.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_04]: Then come down do what is it Sherman and then go straight into where the parking lot is for the why now and that medical building and I go straight down that ramp like thing and out on the court and then hop on coffin from there as my normal route over here you know I
- 49:24[SPEAKER_04]: whatever.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_04]: So anyway, that's got two speed bumps and the sign that says bump is right next to the bump.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_04]: I pull those out if I were them.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_04]: What a sign up there says, you know, steep ramp goes slow.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_04]: I can read.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_04]: I can read.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_04]: And because you could have the same situation happen there.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_04]: It's a very similar situation.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_04]: It's a sloped road and all of that.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_04]: signage road markings in yellow whatever you want to do uh... given what's happened here everybody knows you can make money we fall down on a speed bump so i don't know what other speed bumps the city maintains uh... but i'm not sure they should be in roads i don't know if that's technically a road down there but you know openly accessible looks like a road
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: You know, smells like a rodeo, so it's a road.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_04]: Just something to think about, I don't know, what do I know?
- 50:27[SPEAKER_04]: What do I know?
- 50:29[SPEAKER_04]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: I just want to point out, there's one key point with this case with the speed bumps that, honestly, you made them settle, essentially.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: And that is that they were notified several weeks before this lady was killed on her bike, on the speed bumps being unsafe.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_02]: probably within a month of her passing away.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I will say, I do think that she should have been wearing helmet.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that she, I don't think that's going to get any money, really.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_02]: But unfortunately, the city council didn't do their due diligence to go address the situation when they were notified about it the first time.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_02]: And that's really the key point of it.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_02]: And the earlier, the more I kind of know about that is because I was in a legal situation with the city probably about 15 years ago.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_04]: If the city was notified of the issue prior to what happened, then it would have been a slam-down case, but because it was the first time the fence for them, they were, they, they, no, I know, and that was, that was the thing where the gentlemen on Washington Street notified a councilman, it was only, only sent a note to the city manager, DPW, and the council,
- 51:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and that's that was the prior notice.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_04]: I think because it came from only nobody took it seriously.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_04]: I'll tell you that at a room at a room where you can get City Council.
- 51:59[UNKNOWN]: I remember I think I was trying to watch that.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_04]: He went and spoke at City Council in total City Council, you know, because he is an habit to have a bike writer in the city.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: He told us he said, you know, there is a point out the issues with us.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_02]: And obviously, I was very, very smart, smart me on.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_02]: And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, again, like, who knows this, I can't want to know it.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_04]: The question is, not who, the question, the question is not who put it in.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, public works put it in.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's who, who was the driving force behind putting it in?
- 52:34[SPEAKER_04]: And they won't say.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_04]: And that's curious.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_04]: And if this had gone to trial, they would have had to say that.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_02]: Correct.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, I think the whole thing seems very fishy in general.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: I will say I definitely blame the council for some of this because they should have listened to Adam, they should have put a little more weight on what was that.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_04]: But they have no power.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_02]: If they can.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever, you know, you know, they should have listened to Adam because then we would have been in this situation.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_02]: And I just don't understand, you know, that was kind of my two sons with it.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like again, I only, I knew that this family was going to win or you know, whatever gets the money out of this, the man of this lady died because of what, because of the situation that Mike Noah, I'm like Adam pointed this out to him.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_02]: Did he didn't do anything about it?
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: I was Lady died.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, this is what my lawyer told me 15 years ago that the city was notified of an issue.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then that's something happens.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: They have no case.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_02]: Like they're completely neglected.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_04]: Listen.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_04]: Got it.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_04]: I got a run, man, because I got things to do.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_04]: Alright, thank you.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I sat through and I, Here's his mayor, a lot of board of audit meetings.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_04]: And that always came up, somebody wrecked their front suspension on a puddle.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, the reason for refusing it was always there was no prior notice.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_04]: Um, you know, it's unreasonable to expect that you're going to have this, uh, universal awareness of every hazard like a pot hole.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_04]: So, yeah, that's the, the defense against that type of thing.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's diligence and good judgment ahead of time, and you know, it wasn't there this time.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, we get it for it, right?
