- 0:23Speaker 4: in the car in the parking.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Garage, not a lot of lights.
- 0:26Speaker 4: So yeah, my life is very glamorous, so I don't
- 0:30Speaker 4: maybe I put too much on.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I couldn't really, So you're giving like fresh from vacation, Yeah,
- 0:35Speaker 2: with the blonde, fresh blonde in the leather jacket.
- 0:39Speaker 5: Say it again, the fresh from the island. Yeah, island girly.
- 0:45Speaker 2: How are we doing today?
- 0:46Speaker 5: We're doing good. How are you doing?
- 0:48Speaker 2: I'm great? And I know people are wanting an update
- 0:51Speaker 2: about something that we had scheduled for a lot. Are
- 0:57Speaker 2: you talking about are you talking about it? An update
- 1:00Speaker 2: about our drinks with.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Yeah j L.
- 1:04Speaker 4: We like to call her dale h.
- 1:07Speaker 6: And how did it go? Do you guys have a
- 1:09Speaker 6: good time?
- 1:10Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:11Speaker 4: We didn't go. Okay, it did not, in fact make
- 1:16Speaker 4: it out of the group chat. It is still in
- 1:18Speaker 4: the group chat and in the works for twenty twenty five.
- 1:22Speaker 6: So wait what happened? Because she even said something about
- 1:24Speaker 6: like has she heard something you said on the radio,
- 1:26Speaker 6: and she said, all we have to talk about that
- 1:28Speaker 6: will get Yes, yes.
- 1:29Speaker 4: It was a last minute, but 'tis the season and
- 1:32Speaker 4: she was not feeling well.
- 1:34Speaker 6: A lot going around, I know.
- 1:36Speaker 2: So, I mean it was like two hours before it
- 1:41Speaker 2: was like yeah. She was like, I hope you haven't
- 1:42Speaker 2: left yet.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, close. It was close, Haley.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Guys, I knew she was going to cancel.
- 1:53Speaker 4: This was canceled not feeling well.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Right, you think she canceled? You just didn't want to go.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I don't think she Here's the thing. I don't think
- 2:04Speaker 2: she doesn't want to go get drinks with us.
- 2:06Speaker 4: But I sent the morning was it the morning or
- 2:09Speaker 4: the day before something like something? She heard that I
- 2:11Speaker 4: was on a cleanse on the air, and she's like,
- 2:12Speaker 4: you can't be on a cleanse for our drinks date.
- 2:14Speaker 5: So she was like ready to go.
- 2:16Speaker 2: No, no, no, But you know, how the day comes.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I don't know if anyone else releases in this room.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Sometimes the day comes and I think J. L. H
- 2:25Speaker 2: is kind of like see her being a becka when
- 2:29Speaker 2: it comes to like social outings, like being very selective,
- 2:33Speaker 2: and maybe the day comes and what day comes and
- 2:36Speaker 2: you're just like, man, it's been a really busy holiday season.
- 2:39Speaker 2: There's a lot going on. Do I want to get
- 2:42Speaker 2: out into the world this eve and go like get
- 2:46Speaker 2: drinks and stuff.
- 2:48Speaker 4: If that were the case, I think she'd say, hey,
- 2:50Speaker 4: I have a lot going on.
- 2:51Speaker 2: You're right, you probably would.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Yeah, she's not gonna make up.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Maybe I'm projected.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Have you ever done that? Have you ever faked being
- 2:58Speaker 4: sick to get out of something?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, that's what karma? Why though.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Being sick?
- 3:12Speaker 2: No, I feel like it was a dirt. It's a
- 3:14Speaker 2: gift when people do it to me. Fortunately, I surround
- 3:19Speaker 2: myself with very like excited people who never cancel on me,
- 3:23Speaker 2: never get me the out.
- 3:25Speaker 4: No.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I actually really appreciated j L h hitting or stup
- 3:30Speaker 2: like that.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I sent her the text that she sent me, and
- 3:33Speaker 4: she was relieved. Honestly, I was like, oh finished.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Why.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I was relieved because it was Haley's last night before
- 3:39Speaker 4: she went to New York.
- 3:40Speaker 6: I was happy to spend Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I wasn't relieved, just like, oh, thank god it off
- 3:45Speaker 2: to do that. I was just like, first of all,
- 3:47Speaker 2: the choice was in Santa Monica, which is a hell
- 3:50Speaker 2: for me.
- 3:51Speaker 5: To get to at like peak traffic hours traffic.
- 3:54Speaker 2: So I was gonna leave like an hour and a
- 3:55Speaker 2: half before.
- 3:57Speaker 4: So I had like already gotten ready. So I had
- 4:00Speaker 4: hair appointment that was already scheduled before I drink. So
- 4:03Speaker 4: I was like, Okay, I can make this work. I'll
- 4:04Speaker 4: finish my hair appointment around the time that I would
- 4:06Speaker 4: have to like leave to get to Santa Monica. So
- 4:08Speaker 4: I like got dressed, got my cute off it on.
- 4:11Speaker 4: I was wearing a freaking body suit thong bodysuit, so
- 4:13Speaker 4: I have like a thong up my whole hair.
- 4:17Speaker 6: Yes, I don't even know what that means. It hurts,
- 4:20Speaker 6: it hurts, It sounds awful.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Sounds bad.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Yeah, I have snaps too, yep, right in the badge.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Okay, someone needs to figure this out, because there's some
- 4:31Speaker 2: really cute bodysuit options.
- 4:33Speaker 4: However, Skims does do not quote me on that because
- 4:36Speaker 4: I don't know for sure spoiler alert, but I feel
- 4:38Speaker 4: like Skims has uh cap what do you call snapless
- 4:43Speaker 4: cross snapless crotches, magnets.
- 4:47Speaker 2: No, it's just fabric, which is way more pleasing for
- 4:52Speaker 2: the body. Yeah, not this hat between having a seamed
- 4:57Speaker 2: thong like with seams and then snaps right in the
- 5:02Speaker 2: center of your vagina. It's it's quite a commitment.
- 5:06Speaker 5: So I had a three hour hair appointment.
- 5:08Speaker 2: So your girl was like, you should have like unsnapped
- 5:13Speaker 2: him and just had him tugged for the appointment.
- 5:16Speaker 4: You know, hindsight.
- 5:19Speaker 5: I am sorry that hindsight.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Here's the thing when I do that, if I cancel
- 5:23Speaker 2: and like fake sick, I do it like in the morning,
- 5:26Speaker 2: if it's like a nighttime thing.
- 5:27Speaker 4: So okay, it doesn't make it.
- 5:29Speaker 2: But I was saying, like, I feel bad that you
- 5:31Speaker 2: are already ready, Like that kind of makes you feel sad.
- 5:33Speaker 2: It's like sad cute.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I was ready, Like I really, I was like.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Really snaps. So then I was like, oh my gosh,
- 5:44Speaker 5: I have like four hours back in my day.
- 5:46Speaker 4: What should I do now. I was gonna like come
- 5:48Speaker 4: to your house, and then I looked at traffic and
- 5:50Speaker 4: I was like, I'm going home.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Mom's going home.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah. I was gonna ask if you did a date
- 5:57Speaker 2: night or something.
- 5:58Speaker 4: No, we had something to get done that night. I
- 6:01Speaker 4: can't remember exactly what it was, but we had something
- 6:04Speaker 4: to do. So I was like, I'll just get a jumpstart.
- 6:06Speaker 6: So the streak is intact, the streak of not getting
- 6:08Speaker 6: together with guests who invite you guys to get together
- 6:11Speaker 6: still been broken. That's not been broken.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Great, and it's kind of like, what a beautiful way
- 6:17Speaker 2: to end twenty twenty four as opposed to breaking it
- 6:21Speaker 2: right before the new year.
- 6:22Speaker 5: I'm done with that. Yeah, so the new year, I'm
- 6:25Speaker 5: done with it.
- 6:26Speaker 4: In the new year, I'm breathing new life into this
- 6:29Speaker 4: and we are asking every guest, with everyone, every single guest,
- 6:36Speaker 4: to get drinks with us, right, and we'll see who's
- 6:38Speaker 4: the first to follow through and not just to make
- 6:40Speaker 4: the plans, to actually do the plans. Yeah, I mean
- 6:43Speaker 4: j Yeah, jail h got to she got to M
- 6:49Speaker 4: in alphabet, but she did not get to Z.
- 6:52Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:52Speaker 5: No, but she might be the first.
- 6:54Speaker 4: In twenty five Sho might hit us up and say.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Hey, girls, have a new year's schedule. Yeah, I'm feeling better.
- 7:01Speaker 2: You got your marriage license.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm feeling a little queasy right now.
- 7:05Speaker 6: I'm not going I know marriage lescense will do that.
- 7:08Speaker 7: Yeah, no, no, no, have you.
- 7:11Speaker 5: You know everybody's getting sick right now.
- 7:14Speaker 6: I know if one celebrity who got sick but yes,
- 7:17Speaker 6: there's a lot going around.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Yes, you don't feel like people in your world are
- 7:21Speaker 4: all like dropping.
- 7:22Speaker 6: Like are getting sick.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I feel like it's like that time of
- 7:25Speaker 4: year anyways. So I'm like loading up on all the
- 7:28Speaker 4: vitamins and I just took too, like like the liquid
- 7:31Speaker 4: liquid ones, like slurped them down in a row, And
- 7:34Speaker 4: I'm feeling a little like.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I don't think you're supposed to do that to in
- 7:37Speaker 2: a row. I just don't think you're supposed to do
- 7:39Speaker 2: it on like an empty stomach.
- 7:42Speaker 4: It was a while ago. Yeah, eight am, it's nude.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah, did you work out?
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 7:48Speaker 2: So you haven't had anything to do. You had breakfast
- 7:50Speaker 2: and you just took a load of vitamins. Yeah. I
- 7:52Speaker 2: can't imagine you're feeling great. Do y'all have? Is there?
- 7:55Speaker 5: Just sign?
- 7:56Speaker 4: Can just give me a minute to this down? I'm good.
- 8:02Speaker 4: We canno.
- 8:05Speaker 2: He's not just a sip of water.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 2: So you went and got your marriage license?
- 8:10Speaker 4: I went go are Yeah, how did it feel? I
- 8:13Speaker 4: got really emotional about it. Every little thing we do
- 8:17Speaker 4: like makes me want to cry. It's like so weird.
- 8:20Speaker 2: What does Robbie do?
- 8:24Speaker 5: He doesn't cry? No, he gets excited, but he doesn't cry.
- 8:30Speaker 2: No, but like when you start crying, is he just
- 8:32Speaker 2: like oh cry, like I.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Got teary eyes.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 8:34Speaker 4: And I was like, I don't know why I'm so
- 8:36Speaker 4: emotional like that we just got this, and he's like
- 8:38Speaker 4: cause it's really exciting and like you're an emotional person
- 8:40Speaker 4: and like you know you're not going to cry, So
- 8:43Speaker 4: I guess I won't cry either.
- 8:45Speaker 2: It's probably because of the decor in the Beverly Hills
- 8:48Speaker 2: court House.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Yeah, but you know they make you raise your right hand.
- 8:51Speaker 4: They like make you raise your right hand and say
- 8:53Speaker 4: like is everything on these papers? Whatever? Whatever? And I
- 8:56Speaker 4: was like, oh, this feels like so official.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yeah, like yeah, girl, you're locking it in. Yeah, you're
- 9:01Speaker 2: both locking it in. Yeah, exciting.
- 9:03Speaker 4: It is very exciting. Well, but the courthouses are full,
- 9:06Speaker 4: let me tell you. The woman at the front was
- 9:09Speaker 4: like asking us if we were going to do a
- 9:11Speaker 4: ceremony at the courthouse and we were like probably, but
- 9:14Speaker 4: not till like next year, and she was like few, Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 4: She was like everyone's trying to get in and I
- 9:21Speaker 4: was like that's so weird, Like what a random time
- 9:23Speaker 4: of year to like get.
- 9:24Speaker 7: Your before the end of the year. You're trying to
- 9:26Speaker 7: lock something down, so.
- 9:28Speaker 4: She said, tax breaks and then people are scared that
- 9:33Speaker 4: their marriage rights are going to get taken away next Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 4: trying to get it in very Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 6: I was like, dang, well, you don't hear people say
- 9:40Speaker 6: few very often, you know, but that's the extra phone one,
- 9:43Speaker 6: an actual few few.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I think she said fewew whew.
- 9:48Speaker 2: You don't get that reaction often these days.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Uh so, yeah, one step closer. We're in the We're
- 9:54Speaker 4: in the We're in the window because you get it
- 9:56Speaker 4: and then you have to get married within ninety days.
- 9:58Speaker 9: Wow, clock is tickn that's before March, right before after
- 10:05Speaker 9: I don't know, March twenty or yeah, yeah, okay, ninety days.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right.
- 10:12Speaker 7: I'm sure. I'm sure she's done this.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Man, March eighteenth, ninety days from now.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Correct, But you're gonna get the wedding right yeah, oh.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, we're gonna lock it in
- 10:23Speaker 4: before yeah.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's yore.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Well.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I was like, I just want to get as much
- 10:29Speaker 4: done before the new year than I possibly can. So
- 10:33Speaker 4: that was one more check off the off the lit.
- 10:35Speaker 2: My Cammeridge charged and ready to photograph the event, thank
- 10:39Speaker 2: you so much.
- 10:40Speaker 4: I went into the courthouse and it's like bright yellow
- 10:44Speaker 4: walls that says like love is love and.
- 10:50Speaker 5: They're bright yellow. But I went into like inspect it.
- 10:52Speaker 4: There's like a little corner that's like white and it
- 10:55Speaker 4: has like a very avant guard kind of photo. Well,
- 10:58Speaker 4: maybe we can do it in that corner.
- 10:59Speaker 2: All took all her photos outside when it was they're beautiful.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Shouldn't do any in the room in the chapel.
- 11:05Speaker 2: No, I don't think they. I mean maybe I didn't
- 11:08Speaker 2: see those. She didn't post those. The room is really heinous.
- 11:12Speaker 2: And she sent me a picture and it was like
- 11:14Speaker 2: love is Love and I was like, but I do
- 11:16Speaker 2: appreciate the ally ship.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, big bold bright riders.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Well it's exciting, very exciting. How was the Sonic premiere?
- 11:29Speaker 2: To talk about that one?
- 11:31Speaker 7: That was the coolest thing I have ever gotten to
- 11:33Speaker 7: do in my life.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Wow.
- 11:36Speaker 10: Becca Beca's like come with me as the Sonic premiere
- 11:40Speaker 10: and because like you can go watch the movie. And
- 11:42Speaker 10: I thought it was gonna be like Alison and I
- 11:45Speaker 10: like jogging place to the side of well, Becca does
- 11:47Speaker 10: her like famous person thing and then like we go
- 11:49Speaker 10: inside to watch the movie, but we got to walk
- 11:52Speaker 10: the blue carpet. We got to getty image out of it.
- 11:56Speaker 10: They held up a whiteboard of my name and they
- 11:58Speaker 10: took pictures of us. The two photographers took pity and
- 12:01Speaker 10: took pictures of us. We got to like have Sonic
- 12:04Speaker 10: chili dogs. We got to do the whole I got
- 12:06Speaker 10: to meet Sonic in the theater, just outside of the
- 12:10Speaker 10: Chinese theater. That was the coolest thing in the world.
- 12:13Speaker 10: We had so much fun and the movie is amazing.
- 12:16Speaker 7: It's so good. I love Sonic. Yeah, it was unreal.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It was I truly had no idea how huge of
- 12:24Speaker 2: a premiere. It was like it was like Hollywood.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Chinese theater is like legit.
- 12:30Speaker 2: They always do the big ones, but it was it
- 12:32Speaker 2: was like one of the bigger premieres. I feel like
- 12:34Speaker 2: I've gone to and like Jim Carrey there, I'm sorry, Like.
- 12:38Speaker 4: That franchise is like massive.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean yeah, it was huge, and they put
- 12:42Speaker 2: us in like the there was like a space where
- 12:45Speaker 2: like a bunch of the like influencers and content creators went.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So they were had like the Alison got one of
- 12:50Speaker 2: the ring.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Yeah, they're getting these giant rings.
- 12:53Speaker 2: What did they do?
- 12:54Speaker 7: It was just a ring, just a ring.
- 12:56Speaker 10: They're just there were people had them. I don't know
- 12:58Speaker 10: where they got them. And then Allison was like, to
- 13:00Speaker 10: get that ring, and then I gave her a ring.
- 13:02Speaker 10: It was awesome.
- 13:03Speaker 2: They were hard to get. People are like searching everywhere else.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I was like, how did you get that?
- 13:07Speaker 2: Else?
- 13:07Speaker 4: You know what those do?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Yes?
- 13:11Speaker 7: They create portals.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Yes, yes, as one knows from the Sonic franchise.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yes, exactly. But we're seeing it tonight, so no spoilers.
- 13:19Speaker 2: They did announce so that Sonic four is in the works.
- 13:23Speaker 5: They did so.
- 13:25Speaker 2: My friend Avanti, who works at Paramount, sent it to
- 13:28Speaker 2: me and Tanya and was like, Tanya, here's your chance
- 13:31Speaker 2: to shine, your time to shine.
- 13:33Speaker 5: I said, put me in coach.
- 13:35Speaker 4: But I feel like if they already have a date
- 13:36Speaker 4: for it twenty twenty seven, I feel as though they've
- 13:38Speaker 4: probably already cast the crew.
- 13:42Speaker 6: That's a long time from now, twenty twenty seven.
- 13:44Speaker 4: I know, but knowing like like just Sophia's movie, what
- 13:50Speaker 4: takes a long time.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the thing.
- 13:51Speaker 4: I don't know animation, but I feel like she makes
- 13:53Speaker 4: movies so far ahead.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Yeah that I feel I don't think you should be discouraged.
- 13:58Speaker 6: You you have that state, right.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I don't like that that we're not going in with
- 14:02Speaker 2: that attitude. But also it's like they probably are like,
- 14:05Speaker 2: this franchise is huge, so let's continue it. And they
- 14:07Speaker 2: already know they're gonna have a Sonic for but maybe
- 14:09Speaker 2: they haven't even written the scripture.
- 14:11Speaker 6: Right, bringing a new Sonic Hedgehog and there you are.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, maybe pitch maybe like a graphic designer to
- 14:17Speaker 2: draw up a little character, color her outfit and stuff.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Uh huh, and then get your voice audition ready. Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 2: we can just send them.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Yeah the a clip, no problem, air check, I got you.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 3: No.
- 14:35Speaker 2: It was really fun. It was cool to I felt.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I was like, wow, I feel so cool that I
- 14:40Speaker 2: got to bring them to something like that. I thought
- 14:42Speaker 2: it was gonna be more like a screening that type.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Was like, well, this is so epic.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It was.
- 14:47Speaker 10: It was so yeah, it was just I can't stop
- 14:50Speaker 10: thinking about it. It was like so fun and again,
- 14:53Speaker 10: the movie's so good. There's a Beach Boys song in
- 14:55Speaker 10: the movie. I stood up and cheered. Seeing a movie
- 14:57Speaker 10: with like all the there's a bunch of Sonic fans
- 14:59Speaker 10: in there too. It was so fun because like anytime
- 15:01Speaker 10: some Sonic thing happened, everyone included like lost their minds.
- 15:05Speaker 5: I sent Savvy the video of you with trying to.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Show them the TikTok.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he was like, that's so cool.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I know.
- 15:14Speaker 2: It was kind of one of those where they would have.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Really thrived, I know, but he had to play that night.
- 15:22Speaker 2: So Sonic four though, yes, which one which will be
- 15:25Speaker 2: featuring you? It'll be even more special. Could have a
- 15:28Speaker 2: new baby in the picture too, Oh my god, like
- 15:31Speaker 2: a one year older.
- 15:33Speaker 5: You don't take babies to the movies though, No, but you.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Could take them to like the event of it, and
- 15:37Speaker 2: then Robbie could take the kids, you know, the older kids.
- 15:40Speaker 4: When do you start taking kids to movies?
- 15:42Speaker 2: There were kids there. There was a lot of kids
- 15:44Speaker 2: like how.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Old, though not babies.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I know.
- 15:45Speaker 6: We took Alie to Her first movie was she was
- 15:47Speaker 6: three three, I feel like, but it was like a
- 15:51Speaker 6: nature documentary. It was nothing too well louder. It was
- 15:54Speaker 6: Earth Disney's Earth.
- 15:55Speaker 7: I was two and my first movie was Young Guns
- 15:58Speaker 7: sorry Philip.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Guns movie.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:04Speaker 5: I was thinking four.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like that's a good age. We'll cross
- 16:10Speaker 2: that bridge once we arrive. Yes, but we do have
- 16:13Speaker 2: a Dear Bonnie episode today, so we are going to
- 16:16Speaker 2: get back. There's some there's some hard hitting emails and
- 16:20Speaker 2: problems that they need us to solve, you guys, So
- 16:23Speaker 2: lock in and we'll be back. All right. We are
- 16:44Speaker 2: back and with our final deer Bonia of the year.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Wow, I'm getting like really sad. Like everybody's like, I
- 16:53Speaker 4: went to my last sculpt class of the year that
- 16:57Speaker 4: down for the year. Oh my gosh.
- 16:59Speaker 5: She's like, this is the LAS class. Make it a
- 17:01Speaker 5: good one.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I was like, what, Oh, I'm happy to hear that
- 17:06Speaker 2: they're taking time off for themselves though.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yeah the last one listen.
- 17:10Speaker 5: So sculpted out for there.
- 17:14Speaker 6: By the way, I don't want to have a goal
- 17:15Speaker 6: for twenty twenty five. I don't want to write a
- 17:16Speaker 6: need checks. That's what I've decided. I'm not going to
- 17:18Speaker 6: write a single check in twenty twenty four.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Yeah, checks twenty four in the check.
- 17:23Speaker 6: So what do you do when you get a bill
- 17:25Speaker 6: from the dentist office. I got a bill from the
- 17:26Speaker 6: dentist office two days ago. I'm like, well, crap, that's
- 17:28Speaker 6: the place to put or I call them and I
- 17:31Speaker 6: get credit.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Cards, upgrade your dent to get your dentists.
- 17:35Speaker 6: But I don't write checks anymore.
- 17:36Speaker 5: Yeah, that that dentist needs it.
- 17:39Speaker 2: That feels like a very doable I hope it.
- 17:42Speaker 6: But doctor's offices need to get with it.
- 17:45Speaker 5: I haven't written a check for a doctor's office in How.
- 17:48Speaker 6: Are you paying your doctor's bills?
- 17:50Speaker 5: I really call them and I give them my bill,
- 17:52Speaker 5: my bill.
- 17:53Speaker 6: I'm not sitting on hold either. Have to figure something.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Maybe two minutes of.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Hold, I am.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I never call a single person. I never write a
- 18:00Speaker 2: single check. It's all online.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Everything feels advanced.
- 18:05Speaker 6: I need to go to your doctors.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Yeah, here we go.
- 18:08Speaker 6: F'm anonymous obsessed with the podcast Your Dynamic, and that
- 18:12Speaker 6: you released two episodes a week. I'm a news scrubber
- 18:15Speaker 6: from September of twenty four, while that's just a few
- 18:17Speaker 6: months ago.
- 18:17Speaker 7: Welcome.
- 18:17Speaker 6: I'm currently alternating between the newly released episodes and the
- 18:20Speaker 6: catalog of episodes past. I'm in my mid thirties and
- 18:24Speaker 6: I realized I had a strong connection with women. When
- 18:27Speaker 6: I was twenty nine. I met someone with whom I
- 18:28Speaker 6: had an undeniable connection, and initially things went well, but
- 18:31Speaker 6: I struggled with internalized homophobia, which conflicted with my beliefs
- 18:35Speaker 6: about being true to yourself and loving freely. I came
- 18:38Speaker 6: out to my family and some friends, and though it
- 18:40Speaker 6: wasn't terrible, it was uncomfortable. I eventually retreated from the relationship,
- 18:44Speaker 6: partly blaming my partner for the pressure to come out
- 18:46Speaker 6: and push that part of myself aside, finding it easier
- 18:49Speaker 6: to date men, but I felt guilty, angry, and disconnected
- 18:52Speaker 6: from who I was. Listening to this podcast, recommended by
- 18:55Speaker 6: a friend, helped me reflect on my fears and inspired
- 18:58Speaker 6: me to embrace who I am. Hearing stories, particularly Becka's
- 19:02Speaker 6: journey to openly and proudly loving, made me realize how
- 19:04Speaker 6: much I was missing by hiding a vital part of myself.
- 19:09Speaker 6: I have since recome out with greater confidence and gotten
- 19:12Speaker 6: overwhelmingly positive responses, started exploring a new relationship with a woman,
- 19:16Speaker 6: and I feel happier and more at peace than I
- 19:17Speaker 6: have in years. Now, I'm at a crossroads. I haven't
- 19:20Speaker 6: come out to some long distance friends, not because I
- 19:22Speaker 6: don't trust them, but because of my own fears and insecurities.
- 19:24Speaker 6: I'm not sure how to broach the subject without making
- 19:26Speaker 6: them feel like I didn't trust them or value our friendship.
- 19:29Speaker 6: I've had chances to share this part of myself, but
- 19:31Speaker 6: I've avoided it out of fear, often making excuses about
- 19:33Speaker 6: being busy or mentioning days with men to avoid the topic.
- 19:37Speaker 6: I'd appreciate advice on how to start this conversation in
- 19:39Speaker 6: a way that honors our friendship and builds understanding. Thank
- 19:42Speaker 6: you all for sharing your stories and for all the
- 19:44Speaker 6: laugh out loud moments and wishing you all happy holidays.
- 19:49Speaker 8: You know.
- 19:51Speaker 2: I'm trying. This was so long ago for me, like
- 19:54Speaker 2: navigating when I first started dating Haley, and like coming
- 19:58Speaker 2: out to my friends, like having those conversations feel so foreign,
- 20:02Speaker 2: but I just remember, I'm all being positive, so I
- 20:04Speaker 2: don't have I also.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Feel like you didn't like call up any long distance
- 20:08Speaker 4: friends and said like, hey, by the way, I'm dating
- 20:10Speaker 4: a girl, Like I don't know if that's totally necessary.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Well, I think if it's someone that she's in like,
- 20:15Speaker 2: if it's a friend that she's talking to all the time,
- 20:18Speaker 2: you know, like if it's.
- 20:19Speaker 5: What what does one consider a long distance friend?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Like JoJo's a long distance friend, ah okay, a friend
- 20:28Speaker 2: who lives a long distances In my mind, I'm thinking
- 20:31Speaker 2: like old friends from high school that live in your hometown.
- 20:35Speaker 5: And then now you've moved away, blah blah blah.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It sounds like these are still people in her life,
- 20:39Speaker 2: they're just not part of her everyday life. So they
- 20:41Speaker 2: want to know, like that she's spending time with a woman,
- 20:44Speaker 2: got it. I think you just text them and be like,
- 20:46Speaker 2: I'm dating someone new and if they ask questions and
- 20:50Speaker 2: then you just are like, well she is, she's blah
- 20:53Speaker 2: blah blah. The thing is, because you're feeling insecure and
- 20:58Speaker 2: nervous about it, it's gonna come across. Everything is about
- 21:01Speaker 2: how you deliver information, right, So, like, if you're feeling
- 21:04Speaker 2: really excited about this person and you say it with
- 21:08Speaker 2: enthusiasm and you're not really focusing on the fact about
- 21:11Speaker 2: her gender, and you're more just like, she's amazing. This
- 21:14Speaker 2: is how we met. I think your friends are going
- 21:16Speaker 2: to be more receptive and see that you're happy and
- 21:19Speaker 2: confident in it, and I think that's going to make
- 21:21Speaker 2: them respond in a way that makes you feel seen
- 21:26Speaker 2: and encouraged by them. Yeah.
- 21:28Speaker 4: I think we put so much pressure on ourselves and
- 21:30Speaker 4: I can't speak to the specific conversation of like coming
- 21:33Speaker 4: out to friends. But I feel like a lot of
- 21:35Speaker 4: people have insecurities when they're dating, and like, let's say,
- 21:39Speaker 4: you know, some people that have kids feel insecure about
- 21:42Speaker 4: the fact that they have kids when they're dating. And
- 21:43Speaker 4: it's all about how you say it, you know, like
- 21:45Speaker 4: if you say I have kids, that's like a negative connotation.
- 21:50Speaker 4: But if you're like, oh, my gosh, you have the
- 21:51Speaker 4: cutest little dimples. My son has dimples like that, you know,
- 21:54Speaker 4: like you're telling them without making it like a thing.
- 21:56Speaker 4: So I feel like taking that approach of just like
- 21:59Speaker 4: I think some times we bog ourselves down with having
- 22:01Speaker 4: to have like the perfect words, the perfect time, and
- 22:03Speaker 4: the perfect thing to say and have it be this
- 22:05Speaker 4: whole thing when in reality, like you're dating someone and
- 22:09Speaker 4: you're happy, Yeah, that's really all it is.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah. I was thinking though, aside you not even having
- 22:15Speaker 2: kid like more so from the perspective of you dating
- 22:18Speaker 2: someone with kids, it's kind of that same thing of
- 22:21Speaker 2: like if you were like, eh, he has kids, but
- 22:23Speaker 2: instead you're like, oh, yeah, have my fiance or his
- 22:26Speaker 2: son or you know, my step kids. There's a lot
- 22:28Speaker 2: of excitement and confidence when you talk about it, so
- 22:31Speaker 2: it never I don't think ever felt like a thing
- 22:33Speaker 2: because it was something about it his life that you
- 22:37Speaker 2: were excited about. Right, So I think that is the
- 22:41Speaker 2: advice that I'd give, And I'm proud of you for
- 22:43Speaker 2: not pushing your true self and feelings to the side anymore,
- 22:47Speaker 2: because we do only have one life to live, and
- 22:50Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's so important to you know,
- 22:55Speaker 2: live your truth and also the people that that are
- 23:01Speaker 2: going to be in your life are going to respond
- 23:03Speaker 2: in a way where they're excited for you and see
- 23:05Speaker 2: you know your happiness.
- 23:07Speaker 6: Agreed to Tiny's point, though, I do think there is
- 23:09Speaker 6: something to live in your life and people can figure
- 23:11Speaker 6: it out on their own. Isn't there something to just
- 23:13Speaker 6: kind of just live your life?
- 23:15Speaker 2: If I was like, oh my gosh, somewhere else get
- 23:21Speaker 2: like people that I haven't talked to in forever, but
- 23:22Speaker 2: like if like uh Tanya ali Jojo, like those are
- 23:27Speaker 2: all people that I was like excited to, like those
- 23:30Speaker 2: are people that are very much a part of my life.
- 23:32Speaker 2: So it was like I can't not like I can't
- 23:35Speaker 2: just expect them to figure it out. And then they
- 23:37Speaker 2: were like, wait, you're hanging out with a girl. Why
- 23:40Speaker 2: why didn't you tell us? You know, I think there's
- 23:41Speaker 2: something about being confident enough and happy enough to be
- 23:45Speaker 2: excited to share that information with people that you love
- 23:48Speaker 2: and that love you.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Yeah. I also just I kind of agree with Mark.
- 23:51Speaker 5: It's like, live your life.
- 23:53Speaker 2: You mean to tell me? If I was just living
- 23:55Speaker 2: my life and hanging out with Haley privately and didn't
- 23:57Speaker 2: tell you that, I would just be like figured it.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Out, figuring it out for yourself, and you were like
- 24:02Speaker 4: unsure and like scared or whatever. Like I wouldn't be
- 24:05Speaker 4: offended if it took you longer than it took you
- 24:07Speaker 4: to tell me.
- 24:08Speaker 6: But also, you guys are besties. She's talking about.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Long distance friends. It doesn't even say besties. It says
- 24:13Speaker 4: long distance.
- 24:14Speaker 6: Friends already came out to family and friends. I feel
- 24:16Speaker 6: like this is a.
- 24:18Speaker 4: This is like you feeling the need to like call like.
- 24:26Speaker 7: That's pure buffering face the doctor.
- 24:29Speaker 4: That you worked for in San Diego to be like
- 24:32Speaker 4: what I'm dating Haley Kyoko.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Now this feels different than that. We don't know. All
- 24:41Speaker 2: I'm saying is if this is, if this is someone
- 24:43Speaker 2: like Jojo in your life, that I think it's worth
- 24:45Speaker 2: it to pick up the phone and have the conversation.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Is someone like that used to San Diego. You don't
- 24:51Speaker 2: owe anyone anything if you're not ready correct.
- 24:54Speaker 6: I hope it is Jojo all right? Uh, I know
- 24:59Speaker 6: the akings are all in, so I don't need to
- 25:00Speaker 6: say that anymore. My boyfriend I just broke up, but
- 25:03Speaker 6: we still have so much love for each other. He
- 25:05Speaker 6: said he needed to grow an areas because he wasn't
- 25:07Speaker 6: the man he knew I deserved. He also said he
- 25:09Speaker 6: wasn't happy with himself and with his life and with
- 25:12Speaker 6: his work. It's really hard because there's still so much
- 25:14Speaker 6: love there. But I do believe he stopped pursuing me
- 25:16Speaker 6: a year ago. During the relationship. I feel like I
- 25:19Speaker 6: lost some of my feminine energy. And I'm curious what
- 25:21Speaker 6: Tanya did in her time post breakup from Robbie to
- 25:24Speaker 6: gain back her confidence, her feminine injury energy and work
- 25:27Speaker 6: on herself. Love you guys, the trigger.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Event, the trigger event. I worked out a lot. I
- 25:36Speaker 4: like channeled my energy into running and I would run
- 25:39Speaker 4: like nine miles.
- 25:40Speaker 2: You were crazy runner.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Then it was the only time that I could just
- 25:44Speaker 4: like not think about anything.
- 25:46Speaker 6: Mm hmm.
- 25:46Speaker 4: I know that sounds so cringe, like even like even
- 25:49Speaker 4: saying it. It's like just you in the in the road,
- 25:54Speaker 4: in the random just people walking around the neighborhood exactly.
- 26:03Speaker 4: So I found a lot of like peace in that. Also,
- 26:08Speaker 4: your feminine energy, like when you're in your ovulatory phase
- 26:12Speaker 4: masturbating is like amazing.
- 26:14Speaker 5: Are you allowed to say that?
- 26:15Speaker 4: On here?
- 26:15Speaker 6: Sure have fun?
- 26:16Speaker 5: Okay?
- 26:17Speaker 4: That I feel like makes you feel I don't know,
- 26:20Speaker 4: like you. It feels you feel glowy. Is that what
- 26:23Speaker 4: you're asking she's asking about feminine energy? Yeah, it makes
- 26:25Speaker 4: me glowy and like I can do it. I can
- 26:28Speaker 4: do this for myself. I don't need anybody else. I
- 26:32Speaker 4: got me myself and I So that would be my advice.
- 26:36Speaker 2: I also feel like even just getting yourself up and
- 26:39Speaker 2: ready to go places, because you probably don't feel like
- 26:41Speaker 2: going and doing anything but getting dinner with a friend
- 26:44Speaker 2: and like really dressing up and making yourself feel your best.
- 26:48Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I don't think like I was going on
- 26:49Speaker 5: a first date any outing.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Ye I had Yes, even if she stayed home. Yes,
- 26:54Speaker 2: she was dressed for her first date.
- 26:56Speaker 4: I was dressed for first date. Taking pics, yeah, posting
- 26:59Speaker 4: them up.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say do things that make you like
- 27:02Speaker 2: before you lost that, like what did you do that
- 27:05Speaker 2: where you felt confident in yourself? Like what were you
- 27:07Speaker 2: doing where you felt your best version, whether it was
- 27:09Speaker 2: like going on walks whatever it looked like.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Yeah, And I also like did a lot of It's
- 27:15Speaker 4: probably not the best way to handle things, like in hindsight,
- 27:18Speaker 4: but I would just like load up my schedule. I
- 27:21Speaker 4: would just like do all the things that I wanted.
- 27:22Speaker 4: I would organize my like Monica Geller closet, I would
- 27:25Speaker 4: you know what I mean, like gives give away like
- 27:27Speaker 4: stuff that I wasn't wearing to the shelter, all that
- 27:29Speaker 4: kind of stuff that like you put on the back burner,
- 27:31Speaker 4: and then you feel so good, you feel like accomplished.
- 27:34Speaker 4: And that also gives you back like a lot of
- 27:35Speaker 4: confidence because you're like, yeah, like I can freaking do
- 27:37Speaker 4: anything anything anything.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Good luck. Though I'm also glad that he acknowledged that
- 27:43Speaker 2: he wasn't able to be the person that would be
- 27:47Speaker 2: a good I get it.
- 27:48Speaker 11: It feels like a cop out, Like every guy feels
- 27:51Speaker 11: like that's fine rather him ended then stay in a
- 27:55Speaker 11: relationship where he's not giving where he she feels like
- 27:58Speaker 11: he stopped pursuing her a year ago, so I'm like, she,
- 28:01Speaker 11: it sounds like maybe she wouldn't have ended it.
- 28:03Speaker 2: So I feel glad that he was, like, I'm doing
- 28:06Speaker 2: it for you, for us, because now she can tap it.
- 28:09Speaker 4: It's like nobody's ever where they want to be when
- 28:12Speaker 4: they're at that, you know what I mean? Like, I
- 28:13Speaker 4: feel like, in correct me if I'm wrong. I feel
- 28:15Speaker 4: like a lot of men when they're ready to propose,
- 28:18Speaker 4: feel like they want to be wanted to be further along.
- 28:20Speaker 6: That was a major part of my my proposal speech
- 28:24Speaker 6: was how we are not where we want to be
- 28:26Speaker 6: in life at this point, but I don't care.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Right, A lot of people feel that way. It's kind
- 28:31Speaker 5: of like they just warn each other's people.
- 28:34Speaker 2: But she he may have been feeling that was like,
- 28:37Speaker 2: I'm not able to be the person you want, but
- 28:39Speaker 2: it'll probably be able to be that person for someone else.
- 28:43Speaker 2: But I'm saying he did her favor because she's about
- 28:46Speaker 2: to tap into her best self and meet her Robbie.
- 28:49Speaker 5: That's right.
- 28:50Speaker 6: So in summary, exercise, organization, and lots of quality time
- 28:54Speaker 6: with yourself.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Correct?
- 28:57Speaker 5: Should I say it like that quality time not the
- 28:58Speaker 5: actual word?
- 28:59Speaker 7: I could say you want to say you can say
- 29:01Speaker 7: the word, you just can't do it.
- 29:02Speaker 6: That's the beauty of Kanya. No filter.
- 29:04Speaker 5: No, I'm saying filter in podcast world? Are we allowed
- 29:07Speaker 5: to say that? On the Share.
- 29:09Speaker 6: The Rules podcasts?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Whew?
- 29:11Speaker 6: I'm jumping ahead one just so you're following along. Hi, Beca,
- 29:15Speaker 6: Mark Easton and Tanya Oh. I got second billing on
- 29:17Speaker 6: that one. That is rare.
- 29:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 29:19Speaker 6: First off, I want to say how much I love
- 29:21Speaker 6: and appreciate all of you your podcast. It's been a
- 29:23Speaker 6: constant source of comfort and joy for me over the
- 29:25Speaker 6: past seven years, helping me through some of the hardest
- 29:27Speaker 6: times in my life. When I was first coming out
- 29:30Speaker 6: to my parents, I posted in the scrubbing and Facebook
- 29:32Speaker 6: groups sharing that I was about to do it. In
- 29:34Speaker 6: an hour, I was flooded with supportive comments, including one
- 29:37Speaker 6: from Becca. My parents still haven't come around, and I'm
- 29:40Speaker 6: not sure they ever will, but I screenshoted those comments
- 29:43Speaker 6: and revisit them often on tough days. They remind me
- 29:46Speaker 6: I'm not alone, and I'm so grateful for that. After
- 29:49Speaker 6: recent events, my girlfriend and I have decided to lope
- 29:52Speaker 6: so we can legally marry while it's still possible. We
- 29:54Speaker 6: are in Texas. We still plan to go through our
- 29:56Speaker 6: originally planned proposals next year and have a bigger wedding
- 29:59Speaker 6: down the road. How I want to make this elopement
- 30:01Speaker 6: feel special for my girlfriend, even though it's not how
- 30:03Speaker 6: we envisioned our timeline, and we'll be keeping it a
- 30:05Speaker 6: secret for most of the people we know. For now,
- 30:07Speaker 6: to celebrate, we're having dinner with our closest friends who've
- 30:10Speaker 6: always supported us. But I'd love your advice. How can
- 30:12Speaker 6: I make this elopement feel meaningful and magical for my
- 30:15Speaker 6: partner even in the midst of these stressful and uncertain times.
- 30:18Speaker 6: We've been together five years. Our journey feels so similar
- 30:21Speaker 6: to Becca's and Haley's. We've always looked up to you too,
- 30:24Speaker 6: and would truly appreciate any advice for making this moment
- 30:26Speaker 6: as special as it deserves to be. Thank you so
- 30:29Speaker 6: much for everything you do. Love you, guys, and happy holidays.
- 30:33Speaker 8: You know.
- 30:34Speaker 2: First of all, I just feel so proud for you
- 30:36Speaker 2: because it is so hard to navigate unsupportive family and
- 30:43Speaker 2: friends like I. There were I think a lot of people,
- 30:47Speaker 2: because I didn't talk about my relationship for so long,
- 30:49Speaker 2: think that it was all just like perfect and there
- 30:52Speaker 2: was no hiccups and everyone just showered us and support
- 30:56Speaker 2: and love. But that wasn't really the case, and there
- 31:00Speaker 2: there's been a lot of progress since then, but it
- 31:02Speaker 2: was definitely not perfect, and like in those four years
- 31:05Speaker 2: of keeping our relationship private, there was a lot of
- 31:07Speaker 2: like heartache and therapy. But so first of all, I'm
- 31:13Speaker 2: very proud of you for, you know, for getting through that,
- 31:17Speaker 2: because it's really really hard, and I am so sorry
- 31:21Speaker 2: that you're having to think about I'm so sorry that
- 31:25Speaker 2: you're having to rush something that's so personal and exciting
- 31:29Speaker 2: because of the fear and what could happen in our
- 31:36Speaker 2: country and in you know, different states. Sorry, I just
- 31:46Speaker 2: I haven't talked about this, and this is like the
- 31:49Speaker 2: reality for people.
- 31:52Speaker 8: It's like they might not be able to you know,
- 31:56Speaker 8: love who they love or commit And I think it's
- 32:01Speaker 8: like such a reality because in reality, Haley and I
- 32:05Speaker 8: don't have anything to worry about in California, Like we're
- 32:07Speaker 8: in a state where like that's probably gonna be safe
- 32:10Speaker 8: for the most part.
- 32:12Speaker 3: But there's people like this who are having to rush.
- 32:15Speaker 3: You know, you're getting to have your dream wedding and
- 32:19Speaker 3: not have to think about that at all, and not
- 32:22Speaker 3: everyone's gonna have that luxury in some places, and it's
- 32:26Speaker 3: so meaningful and special, and I hate that you're even
- 32:30Speaker 3: having to think about that. So I would say, you know,
- 32:39Speaker 3: think about the people that you want to be there,
- 32:42Speaker 3: because that is the truest celebration you want to when
- 32:46Speaker 3: you want it to feel full of love and people
- 32:50Speaker 3: who surround you with love and make it feel light and.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Magical, just sucks. Sorry. I don't want to make this
- 33:07Speaker 2: like sad thing because I'm also happy for them that
- 33:10Speaker 2: they're getting married. I think it's just like you know,
- 33:15Speaker 2: you hear these stories and they're just like sad personal
- 33:21Speaker 2: But anyways, I think you have like beautiful flowers or
- 33:27Speaker 2: find things that she loves, like I know Haley loves
- 33:31Speaker 2: nature and art and color and so I would you know,
- 33:35Speaker 2: and she loves good food, like that's one of her
- 33:37Speaker 2: like passions is food. So making sure that all of
- 33:41Speaker 2: your favorite people and your favorite things are there, and
- 33:44Speaker 2: just making sure that that day feels only full of
- 33:49Speaker 2: love and excitement and not daunted by the reality of
- 33:55Speaker 2: you know, the outside of it.
- 33:58Speaker 6: Idea throwing it out there and if this is crazy,
- 34:01Speaker 6: you can tell me. But it seems like one thing
- 34:03Speaker 6: that always makes a moment magical is live music. Could
- 34:05Speaker 6: you have a guitar player they're playing her favorite song?
- 34:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:08Speaker 6: I feel that would be cool.
- 34:09Speaker 4: I feel like you get to do I think like
- 34:12Speaker 4: when you do and it might be different in Texas,
- 34:15Speaker 4: but I feel like you have that fifteen minute window
- 34:17Speaker 4: to do whatever you want. So like, maybe you do
- 34:19Speaker 4: make it up and do it as big as you
- 34:21Speaker 4: possibly can and write your vows and document it and
- 34:27Speaker 4: have somebody live perform her favorite song and have somebody
- 34:34Speaker 4: I don't really know how it works with the efficient,
- 34:36Speaker 4: but somebody meaningful in your life there to do it,
- 34:40Speaker 4: and like, do it up as much as you can,
- 34:43Speaker 4: and don't make it like an elopement that's just an elopement.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Make it make it matter, yeah, make it feel like
- 34:49Speaker 2: yours and like what you know, it's almost like what
- 34:52Speaker 2: you would do without the circumstance, but on a smaller scale,
- 34:57Speaker 2: and just you know, make sure that it makes sure
- 35:00Speaker 2: it's special for you too. I love the idea of
- 35:03Speaker 2: having someone playing music and having like a few of
- 35:06Speaker 2: your favorite songs played so y'all can dance and or like.
- 35:12Speaker 4: This might be crazy, but if you could take some
- 35:14Speaker 4: of like the letters that she's written you and make
- 35:17Speaker 4: like some sort of a handkerchief out of it, or
- 35:20Speaker 4: like like I don't know, like, yeah, I'm thinking on
- 35:23Speaker 4: the spot here, but like take maybe some letters or
- 35:26Speaker 4: maybe xerox them, not like the actual letters, and make
- 35:29Speaker 4: like some sort of bouquet out of them, you know
- 35:34Speaker 4: what I mean, like oregonmy flowers, like letters that she's
- 35:38Speaker 4: written you, or like post its or whatever, like something
- 35:40Speaker 4: meaningful like that could be really sweet too.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think it's gonna beautiful. And I think
- 35:45Speaker 2: that having the people who love you and support you
- 35:50Speaker 2: being there is what's gonna make it so special. So
- 35:52Speaker 2: I'm so happy for you. Sorry for that breakdown, but.
- 35:56Speaker 4: We love you, and yeah, we love We're so happy
- 35:59Speaker 4: for you.
- 36:01Speaker 6: Let's break Yeah, we have a couple of fun ones
- 36:04Speaker 6: coming up that aren't so having an advicey and there
- 36:08Speaker 6: are more just kind of fun comments, so we'll come
- 36:11Speaker 6: back with that.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Hi.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I'm Kristin Davis, and I want to know are you
- 36:28Speaker 1: a Charlotte? In nineteen ninety seven, my life was forever
- 36:32Speaker 1: changed when I took on the role of Charlotte York
- 36:35Speaker 1: on a new HBO show called Sex and the City
- 36:38Speaker 1: as we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte navigate relationships
- 36:42Speaker 1: in New York City. The show helped push once unacceptable
- 36:46Speaker 1: conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative
- 36:50Speaker 1: around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them
- 36:53Speaker 1: as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Now I want to connect with you and share untoldies
- 37:00Speaker 1: and all the behind the scenes together with special guests.
- 37:04Speaker 1: What will begin with Sex and the City will evolve
- 37:06Speaker 1: into talks about themes.
- 37:08Speaker 4: That are still so relevant today.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Are You a Charlotte is a much more than just
- 37:13Speaker 1: rewatching our beloved show. It brings the past and the
- 37:17Speaker 1: present together as we talk with heart, humor, and of.
- 37:21Speaker 4: Course some optimism.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Listen to Are You a Charlotte on the iHeartRadio app,
- 37:26Speaker 1: Apple Podcast or wherever you get your podcasts.
- 37:36Speaker 2: All right, we're back. This is just like the most
- 37:38Speaker 2: shocking title I've ever seen for an email, So let's
- 37:42Speaker 2: get right into it.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Rude the headline is which our producer Sam adds to these.
- 37:48Speaker 6: Tanya's opening line worked for me Hi Becka, Tanya Mark,
- 37:53Speaker 6: and Easton O G Scrubber here. I've listened since the beginning,
- 37:56Speaker 6: and one of the reasons why I love the podcast
- 37:58Speaker 6: so much was because I too was an early thirties
- 38:01Speaker 6: girly trying to find her forever guy. I found comfort
- 38:04Speaker 6: and laughter in Becca and Tanya's dating stories, as I
- 38:06Speaker 6: knew all too well what they were experiencing. Tanya and
- 38:09Speaker 6: I even had a similar experience in twenty nineteen. We
- 38:12Speaker 6: were both hosting guys we had been dating through FaceTime Doctor,
- 38:15Speaker 6: screen Time Wolf in our cities and meeting for the
- 38:19Speaker 6: first time. I even talked to Ryan on the Morning
- 38:21Speaker 6: Show about it. In my late thirties, I struggled with
- 38:24Speaker 6: the possibility that might just be God's plan for me
- 38:26Speaker 6: not to be married or have a family, And after
- 38:28Speaker 6: every cry wondering why something didn't work out, I'd always say,
- 38:32Speaker 6: God doesn't take away gold to give you silver, or
- 38:35Speaker 6: man's rejection is God's protection. Thank you, Tanya. Fast forward
- 38:39Speaker 6: to twenty twenty two, I felt it in my heart
- 38:41Speaker 6: to download the apps again. I meshed with a cute
- 38:43Speaker 6: guy my age that I'd never seen on there before
- 38:45Speaker 6: and sent him a message. It was Tanya's go to
- 38:47Speaker 6: message from Harriot Days. I said Happy Tuesday. Thankfully, he
- 38:53Speaker 6: thought it was cute and responded. We hit it off
- 38:55Speaker 6: and met for dinner a few weeks later. Two months
- 38:57Speaker 6: after that midweek greeting, he asked me to be as girlfriend,
- 39:00Speaker 6: and two years later to the date, he asked me
- 39:02Speaker 6: to be his wife. Thanks to the whole team for
- 39:04Speaker 6: being a constant joy in my life of the encouragement
- 39:07Speaker 6: and positivity you bring through this podcast, including the reassurance
- 39:10Speaker 6: I got from you all and Scrubbers that there are
- 39:12Speaker 6: good guys out there. I love you all.
- 39:15Speaker 5: Let this be a lesson to everybody out there.
- 39:19Speaker 2: One man's trash is another man's treasury.
- 39:21Speaker 4: Exactly, and honestly, if that doesn't work, the happy whatever
- 39:24Speaker 4: date it is, which is clearly a shoot three pointer
- 39:30Speaker 4: flam dunk. Yes, I also suggest the are you friends
- 39:36Speaker 4: with Robert Graham?
- 39:36Speaker 6: Line?
- 39:37Speaker 4: Oh, that's a good one, because that really works. That's
- 39:42Speaker 4: more of an in real life, in person one. So
- 39:44Speaker 4: this is good for the dating apps Happy Tuesday, But
- 39:47Speaker 4: that are you friends with Robert Graham is a big perfect.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Should it be not Robert Graham, but like another person
- 39:53Speaker 2: that they actually know, so then there's some connection there.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Sure, Roberts She's saying like, like, use somebody that's actually
- 40:02Speaker 4: in your life, like, oh, are you friends with Like
- 40:03Speaker 4: let's say her friend. Her friend is like.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Bob, Bob Brewer, Bob Brewer, Oh yeah.
- 40:09Speaker 4: You know, are you friends with Bob Brewer?
- 40:13Speaker 5: I like Robert Graham.
- 40:14Speaker 4: Because it feels so generic, I know, but we know
- 40:16Speaker 4: Robert Graham.
- 40:17Speaker 2: So there's something to lead back to, all right.
- 40:19Speaker 5: And then they would ask me questions and what does
- 40:21Speaker 5: he do?
- 40:21Speaker 4: Where does he live? And I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah,
- 40:23Speaker 4: to do right right right? Yeah, yeah, then you go
- 40:25Speaker 4: deeper into the lies. So maybe that's a good suggestion.
- 40:28Speaker 4: I think it's great.
- 40:29Speaker 6: Yeah, congratulations Emily, We're very pard for listening, and yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 6: great news. Lauren found a godwink in an old podcast. Hi, Becka, Tanya,
- 40:40Speaker 6: Mark and Easton. I'm listening back to Scrubbing In from
- 40:42Speaker 6: the beginning. That's quite a binge and came across the
- 40:45Speaker 6: biggest godwink of all for Tanya. You met Mark l.
- 40:48Speaker 6: Wahlberg and Hawaiian twenty nineteen. He talked to Tiny about
- 40:51Speaker 6: adapting the I quit mentality, quitting looking and searching for
- 40:54Speaker 6: your person, letting him come to you and happen the
- 40:56Speaker 6: way it should. Instead, the next day she met Doctor
- 40:58Speaker 6: screen Time that I want to the window. Tanya says
- 41:01Speaker 6: she ran into Mark on the street when Doctor screen
- 41:03Speaker 6: Time came to town, and she took it as a
- 41:05Speaker 6: godwink that she should still be quitting and should quit
- 41:08Speaker 6: Doctor screen Time. A few months later, he came back
- 41:11Speaker 6: in the podcast Putting All Your Eggs in One Basket
- 41:13Speaker 6: October fourteenth, twenty nineteen.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
- 41:16Speaker 6: Tanya updates him, says he didn't listen. Says she didn't
- 41:18Speaker 6: listen to the I Quit advice and they laugh about
- 41:20Speaker 6: him seeing her with Doctor screen Time. He then goes
- 41:22Speaker 6: on to say he was just like Tanya, searching for
- 41:24Speaker 6: his person, wondering when she was going to come into
- 41:27Speaker 6: his life. He then said the moment he quit, he.
- 41:29Speaker 7: Met his wife, Robbie.
- 41:33Speaker 6: Mark Wahlberg's wife is named Robbie, which when I read this,
- 41:36Speaker 6: I went and did the research, and it's true.
- 41:38Speaker 2: We were obsessed with her. Remember awesome.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Mark Wahlberg has been this weird pinnacle in my life,
- 41:45Speaker 4: like himself, so weird to say out loud, but like
- 41:48Speaker 4: that really was like a turning point.
- 41:50Speaker 5: What he said to me in Hawaii, and then I did.
- 41:53Speaker 4: I remember I met Doctor screen time the day after,
- 41:56Speaker 4: and then I ran into Mark Wahlberg with this man,
- 42:00Speaker 4: what are the odds?
- 42:01Speaker 2: But then there was sing Your Butterfly right before.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Robbie she mentioned him as well. Tinya met Robbie right
- 42:08Speaker 6: after this. Strangely, Mark Wahlberg and Tiny seemed like kindred spirits.
- 42:11Speaker 6: And it's the biggest godwink of all that she got
- 42:12Speaker 6: her very own Robbie right after this, and she quit
- 42:15Speaker 6: Senior Butterfly and adopted the mentality in her own way.
- 42:19Speaker 6: I thought I was so cute. I knew Tiny would
- 42:20Speaker 6: appreciate the connection.
- 42:22Speaker 5: So crazy, How did I never connect those dots?
- 42:25Speaker 4: I remember I saw her getting her nails done on Ventura,
- 42:28Speaker 4: like not recently, but in that like Parah, She's so cute.
- 42:32Speaker 4: How did you never think about that?
- 42:34Speaker 2: I don't know, because we were like obsessed with obsessed.
- 42:36Speaker 4: With them, even her and their daughter, Robbie Morgan.
- 42:40Speaker 6: Wow, the wife of Mark L. Wahlberg, legendary game show
- 42:44Speaker 6: and reality show.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Wow, Lauren, thank you for that.
- 42:47Speaker 2: That is so fun. Wow.
- 42:50Speaker 4: October fourteen, twenty nineteen.
- 42:52Speaker 6: What a time, What a time? Over five years ago?
- 42:55Speaker 4: Yeah, because I met Robbie November, first of where we met, Yeah,
- 43:00Speaker 4: twenty nineteen. Wow, that's crazy. Two weeks after this.
- 43:06Speaker 2: I'm trying to think of the timeline because oh, September.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Was send You're a butterfly. Yes, yeah, the butterfly was
- 43:14Speaker 4: before doctor screen time.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Doctor screen time came after. Yes. Oh okay, all right,
- 43:21Speaker 2: I need to go back into our chats and see
- 43:23Speaker 2: what we back in the day. Good times. Wow.
- 43:27Speaker 10: When she spells it robb I yeah, also a weird
- 43:30Speaker 10: way of spelling it, just like yours.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Yes, yes, everybody thinks his name is.
- 43:33Speaker 6: Roby non traditional.
- 43:35Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, love it.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Well. That is the end of a dear bonia of
- 43:41Speaker 2: the last dear bonia of twenty.
- 43:43Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I don't want it to be the last.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Well, before you know it, you'll be doing the first
- 43:47Speaker 6: one of twenty twenty five and with your first sculpt.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Class sculpt and scrubbing in that's actually cute. Yeah. Right
- 43:55Speaker 2: at the new year, when you start your once a
- 43:58Speaker 2: day movement activity, it's right.
- 44:00Speaker 11: My community accountability activity.
- 44:04Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, yeah, yaa.
- 44:07Speaker 2: All right, We love y'all so much, love you, happy holidays,
- 44:11Speaker 2: all the things, and we'll see you well we have
- 44:15Speaker 2: a few episodes.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Yeah whatever.
- 44:19Speaker 6: Expect to hear from us on Christmas, oh.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and expect to hear from us on New
- 44:23Speaker 2: Year's Eve or a day before the thirtieth.
- 44:27Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, So the twenty fifth and the thirtieth are coming.
- 44:29Speaker 4: Well, that is just New Year's evadjason, Yes it is.
- 44:33Speaker 2: We're not gone. We're just we're always around. Correct. If
- 44:38Speaker 2: you need to hear from us, there's an episode. Yeah,
- 44:41Speaker 2: there's a whole catalog of seven years. Yep, sometimes two
- 44:45Speaker 2: a days.
- 44:45Speaker 5: I mean, I might go back and.
- 44:46Speaker 4: Listen to October fourteenth of twenty nineteenth.
- 44:49Speaker 2: I know it would be fun to listen to this,
- 44:50Speaker 2: some of those old ones. All right, we love y'all
- 44:52Speaker 2: so much, love you, love you bye.
