- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you, Steve and Jeff Show Band.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: And Jeff, it's great to be back in the studio tonight.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: Great to be back in town.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: You know, I've been traveling a lot, and you know, I know, I know you think I'm gonna say that I was at that California airport I've been at so many times, you know, the one named after the cowboy actor, you know, Randolph Scott Airport.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: I was in Houston this time.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: And see that airport, you would think Houston might be named after a cowboy actor, but it's not, it's actually named after a former president.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, it's LBJ Interplanetary Airport, you know, that's a beautiful place.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: And great flight down there.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Uh on the flight on the way down, I sat in seat 32D.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: And I kept thinking, you know, while I was sitting there, I was thinking, you know, I had a girlfriend in college who was a 32D, but but but I digress.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Jeff, there was big news this week.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Martians actually landed, but it wasn't any of the papers.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: They got bumped from the news coverage because they needed to talk about the July 4th wrestling match at the White House.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: So yeah, well, yeah, pretty important stuff.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: So how are you, Jeff?
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: I'm doing great.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: And it sounds like we're a couple traveling fools because oh, yeah.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Well, we're fools, so yeah.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, certainly.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: But I guess when we're traveling, we're traveling fools.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, coming up here in a couple weeks, we're gonna be going to Hawaii.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Um I'm looking forward to that, although I'm a little nervous.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Too much sun, too good a time, too much relaxation.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, what's to be concerned about?
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: A number of years ago, while I was on vacation in the Alps, Kathy got pregnant.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: That was that happened too.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then a couple years later, while I was on vacation in the Rockies, she got pregnant again.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: And and then while I was uh vacationing in Aruba, she got pregnant once again.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: And you know, I don't know how many kids we can have, and you know, now that we're going on another vacation, so you know I'm a little worried.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Well, that's that's interesting.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, maybe travel does that to her.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: So what what are you gonna do?
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Well, I you know, I thought about it, and I think really the only choice is I should bring her on this vacation with me this time.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: So, you know, just to make sure.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: So that would probably help.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: You know, oh Jeff, we always try to be intrepid journalists, right?
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: On the cutting edge of stories.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: And Jeff, we have some breaking news that I need to impart to you and and all those millions, let's face it, Jeff, the millions of listeners at home.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: I just saw this about the war with Iran, you know, which is of course ongoing.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: You know, that war where we invaded to obliterate the same thing we obliterated a year ago, and then we fought to open the Strait of Hormuz so that we could block it.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: And now they're fighting to open it because we're blocking it.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: You know, you know that war, that that one?
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: I thought that war was over.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Uh according to was it last Friday or the Friday before, or the Friday before it was wasn't it gonna be over?
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: I you know, I I I think those are the betting odds.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: I think it was over under.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: So it was you only read like half the card, but uh they they they just announced that Iran and the US have agreed to a permanent ceasefire.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Wow, that's great news.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Now, I do have a question though.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: So when you say permanent ceasefire, isn't that kind of like the war is over?
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: And if so, why don't they just say the war's over?
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: But you know, I don't know.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm getting bogged down in semantics.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: What what do you think the difference is?
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I understand the confusion because a lot of people are confused that way.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: And talking about semantics, I am really sick of the media using semantics to distort what's going on in Iran.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: And yeah, if you know that I've always been very anti-semantic.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: So you know to answer.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, yeah.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: I joined some groups even too, you know, the like strikeout semantics, you know.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: So you know though, I think the answer to your question is, and keep in mind I'm just an amateur ambassador, you know, like the rest of our State Department.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: But the difference between a permanent ceasefire and an end to the war is that with a ceasefire, both sides agree to refrain from firing each other, you know, with weapons, guns, bombs, missiles, etc.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: But they can still do the other fun stuff to make wars great, make wars so much fun for all these people, because I they people keep starting them, you know, they must be really, really fun.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, they can do the name-calling, the threatening, the stabbing, tripping, whacking over the head with Indian clubs.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: If you can find an Indian club, and of course, embargoing, that's the best part.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, Jeff, don't look at that.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Just as I was giving you that breaking news, we have more breaking news.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: The permanent ceasefire has just ended with the Vatican.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: You know, that's too bad because I don't know if you know this, but I'm Jewish.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: And uh you know, I had heard that.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, did you hear that?
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: I always liked the Pope.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Plus, you know, Kathy's Catholic, always loved the Pope.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Now he's from I don't know if you know this, he's from the United States, he's from Chicago.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Chicago's a Southsider, but we'll cut him some slack.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Chicago, right?
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, and I really liked him, although now I've heard that he's a member of Antifa, so that's not that's not great.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: But but speaking of religious destinations, he's the only one though, right?
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Well, there's no real record of him being a part of Antifa, but yes, if he if he is in Antifa, he would be the only one, he'd be the sole member of Antifa.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So but but speaking of religious destinations for vacations, I'm thinking of Israel.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: So are are they in a permanent ceasefire at this point?
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: I've kind of lost track.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't think Israel is in any kind of ceasefire.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: They're fighting different wars, there's some crossover, it's like a Venn diagram where maybe Iran is the crossover and they're doing Lebanon and we're doing Cuba somewhere, I don't know, wherever.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: But you know, from what I've heard, uh, Israel never ceases firing.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: So yeah, no, there's there's not a ceasefire going, oh more breaking news.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: Look at this.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: Looks like Israel just announced some sort of stoppage.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Could be artery stoppage.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, I you know, could it be?
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Is it a truce?
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Maybe a timeout with Gaza and the Palestinians?
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, this must have been an old announcement.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: No, no, it's not.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: I I think it's a rain check since now they're gonna focus on you know war with Lebanon or Hezbollah or whoever whoever seems to be standing in front of them.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: But you know, it's too bad.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: I I have heard that Beirut has some really beautiful beaches, it's perfect places for bankrupt casinos.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Well, Israel only attacks really cool places, you know.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: So that's uh because they have values, you know, they you know they have standards.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: So so I've heard that too.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Now, to me, these ceasefires are coming too quickly, too rapid, and and they're very kind of rapid fire.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: It's rapid fire ceasefire, which is exactly it it just it it hurts the brain to think about that, doesn't it?
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: I mean it does, but as our king always points out, that the only way to free people from an evil regime is to destroy the country and kill all those people.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Well, then they're completely free from that regime.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Totally free.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: You know, for those pope-loving leftist war haters who say that the cure for a bad regime is worse than the regime itself, you know, they may be right.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: That's that's exactly what RFK Jr.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: would say about it, of course, if war was a vaccine.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: RFK he's right about almost everything except medical stuff.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: You know, he's not a good thing.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: Well, he's a real he's an expert on roadkill penises, I understand.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: So he's he is all this talk about vaccines and ceasefires and wars and bombs and all that other stuff.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: That kind of reminds me, and vacations kind of reminds me of an episode we did.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Gosh, Steve, this must have been a couple years ago.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Do you remember it was uh a travel agency, I think.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Do you remember?
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: You're talking about Big D travel.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, yes, I remember that well.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: For those who haven't listened to that episode, let me encourage you, you should go back and find it.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: It's just it's called Big D Travel or something like that.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: Big D sponsors vacations in distressed areas, and they do this, and they get these heavy, heavy discounts.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's practically free.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: There was one that we're actually gonna pay you to go on the vacation, or right can't remember where it was.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: Not only do I remember, but you know, I'm on their list.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: So I got this brochure the other day, this kind of email, this PDF, uh, a PDF file, which is not the same as our president.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: But I I got this brochure and uh it was reminding us that now really is the perfect time to book a vacation.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: So I reached out, you know, Diane, Miss Big D, right there, see if she could come on the show again and and you know talk about some of the bargains, some of the new bargains that are out there.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: She's unfortunately busy, but we lucked out because really, Jeff, literally just the other side of that glass is her husband, Dave.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: He's in our studio to kind of get us up to date and talk about some of the new bargains that are out there.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show, Dave of Big D Travel.
- 9:37SPEAKER_05: Well, thank you both for having me here.
- 9:39SPEAKER_05: Uh by the way, Diane uh sends her regards and wishes she could be here, but you know, with all that uh new, exciting, distressed areas we're creating, we've been working round the clock to deliver very cheap and very fun vacations all around the world.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: And there are so many new locations too, Dave.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: But I'll I you know I'm I hate to interrupt our interview.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: We really just got started, but we just got news that the ceasefire is back on between the U.S.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: and Saudi Arabia.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: Now I didn't even know that we were at war with Saudi Arabia, but I guess there's just one more war that our king stopped.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: As he always says, any ceasefire is a good ceasefire, especially if you can announce it on Friday afternoon before the markets close.
- 10:21SPEAKER_05: Oh, oh, absolutely.
- 10:22SPEAKER_05: No, no, and no problem.
- 10:23SPEAKER_05: I always appreciate hearing when the king's going up to things.
- 10:26SPEAKER_05: It kind of does uh affect me slightly, and I you know pretend I didn't know that was gonna happen in advance.
- 10:32SPEAKER_05: Uh but uh speaking of Beirut, the the beaches are the best, and and right now I can get you a condo near the beach for as little as twenty-one bucks a night.
- 10:43SPEAKER_05: Wow.
- 10:44SPEAKER_05: And they say the sounds of bombing in Russian waters are very romantic.
- 10:48SPEAKER_05: And in some ways, that is a commercial for what we do uh in a world that's changing by the minute, never knowing who the king will attack next, uh, or you know, who deserves it next, to be fair.
- 11:00SPEAKER_05: Uh, we're always there to get you the best bargains in the areas that we destroy on the spot.
- 11:07SPEAKER_05: Wow.
- 11:07SPEAKER_05: I mean, we usually have inside information to know when a ceasefire is going to happen, and we uh we make a few bucks in the market as well.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Very timely for Kathy and me as you know, we're planning our next vacation.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: I guess the obvious location to look at would be Iran.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Is that what we should be thinking of?
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, maybe get a B and B, you know, a bed and bombing spot, you know, in in Tehran.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: What do you what do you think?
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, sorry, sorry to interrupt the interview again, guys.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: But this is you know, things are just happening so fast.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: It's like we were talking a week or two ago about how a week's worth of news is just it's too much.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: It it doesn't fit in the show anymore.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: And it's a great example.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: I I've just been told we have announced a cease embargo with Cuba.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: Wow, here Cuba's a beautiful island to visit, and hey, maybe you should go there.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: I I understand now it's a great place to have casinos.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: They had some big casinos there back in the day, so yeah, no, no question.
- 12:04SPEAKER_05: It it's it's it's a good option, okay?
- 12:06SPEAKER_05: And again, with no electricity, we're looking at a dirt cheap rate here.
- 12:10SPEAKER_05: I can get you in uh 12 bucks a night at what uh used to be uh Castro's Palace.
- 12:15SPEAKER_05: I mean, I I can I can get you booked right away, but I'd recommend hurrying that embargo might be gone by Friday.
- 12:22SPEAKER_05: Uh and again, the way that Steve seems to be interrupting, it could be gone next day.
- 12:26SPEAKER_05: But uh, but and if so that you know that rate could double or triple, you know, much much like the Prophet Trump family makes every Monday morning.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: That sounds good.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: I I'm kind of interested in that.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: We just came back from Florida, so it might be a little redundant, but what about this Iran situation?
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Should we consider them?
- 12:45SPEAKER_05: I mean, uh it's a good option, it's a great option, you know, to be honest.
- 12:50SPEAKER_05: I I think we can do a lot better, you know.
- 12:52SPEAKER_05: Now now now if you had booked a couple weeks ago during the height of the bombings, uh, I I could have got you something really special.
- 13:00SPEAKER_05: Uh sorry, it's you know, but now most of the good stuff is being reserved by the Kushner family.
- 13:06SPEAKER_05: They're they're sneaky, they're sneaky.
- 13:09SPEAKER_05: But I I think your best bet is to look honestly, and this is this is a hidden gym, Vietnam.
- 13:15SPEAKER_05: I mean, as most our king has said he could have ended the war in Vietnam in about 45 minutes.
- 13:20SPEAKER_05: I trust him.
- 13:21SPEAKER_05: I mean, if only he, you know, were president back then or didn't have you know those horrible, horrible chronic bone spurs.
- 13:29SPEAKER_05: Uh but but I mean it's never too late, and I have been told we will be back into North Vietnam just as soon as our vacation to Iran is completed.
- 13:39SPEAKER_05: Uh reckon window is gonna be about two weeks.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Wow, you know that that just kind of takes me back to my misspent youth.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: Don't give a damn.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Next stop is Vietnam.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: I want to talk to Teresa about going there too.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: I Kathy ought to go.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Any other hot spots that we should look at?
- 13:56SPEAKER_05: Oh, I mean, well, I mean, let me give a minute here.
- 13:59SPEAKER_05: Uh I think you should consider uh, I don't know, Venezuela.
- 14:04SPEAKER_05: Uh I know there seems like that war is over, but I mean we're basically overthrew a country by arresting the leader, and and it's turning into the kind of shithole our king has promised for years.
- 14:15SPEAKER_05: Uh, and a shithole is just another name for a bargain.
- 14:20SPEAKER_05: Uh, literally have that posted on a poster behind me in the office.
- 14:24SPEAKER_05: Uh and it took two weeks in Venezuela, and we can get you a full week in Colombia as well, which is also on the King's uh hit list or freedom list, as he likes to say.
- 14:37SPEAKER_05: Uh beyond those, um I guess you might want to wait till midsummer.
- 14:42SPEAKER_05: All right, that's where a lot of the bargains kind of open up.
- 14:45SPEAKER_05: Uh we can't be exactly sure on which location will be the uh quote next big buy.
- 14:53SPEAKER_05: Uh since our king often based most invasions on how the country treats him with respect and money.
- 15:00SPEAKER_05: Um, but uh here are a couple of countries to keep in mind.
- 15:04SPEAKER_05: Greenland.
- 15:05SPEAKER_05: Oh yeah.
- 15:06SPEAKER_05: Uh Italy.
- 15:08SPEAKER_05: Italy is a good place to go.
- 15:10SPEAKER_05: Got a lot of great food there.
- 15:12SPEAKER_05: I love that Italian Italian food, yeah.
- 15:14SPEAKER_05: I love Italy.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: They they offer good insurance too.
- 15:17SPEAKER_05: I think uh insurance or yeah, yep, iSurance is I say uh then there is uh Canadia.
- 15:24SPEAKER_05: I mean that's more for your convenience, you know.
- 15:27SPEAKER_05: With that one, you barely have to pack a pack of lunch.
- 15:30SPEAKER_05: Isn't that a state yet?
- 15:31SPEAKER_05: Not surprisingly not.
- 15:33SPEAKER_05: They are a stubborn group.
- 15:34SPEAKER_05: Uh you still have to have an international passport.
- 15:37SPEAKER_05: I I don't understand it.
- 15:39SPEAKER_05: Uh, and then of course, uh Spain.
- 15:42SPEAKER_05: Uh that is one uh delightful this time of year.
- 15:46SPEAKER_05: Uh but again, you might want to wait a little bit.
- 15:49SPEAKER_05: Uh and then, of course, the nation of California.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Canadia and the Itali one just sound wonderful, sound delightful.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: But I understand most of those are countries that were not nice and disrespected are king.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: But of course, California is not really a separate country.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, they did it is the Republic of California, California Republic, but yeah, it's not really a separate country.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: Uh beg your pardon?
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: Would that still be a good place to go for vacation, though?
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, I mean, yeah, of course.
- 16:21SPEAKER_05: Sure.
- 16:21SPEAKER_05: I mean, that's part of our uh ice cation location packages.
- 16:25SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 16:26SPEAKER_05: I don't know.
- 16:26SPEAKER_05: Uh basically we know when uh ice comes to a city and well, no unpleasant terms, they fuck it up, you know.
- 16:34SPEAKER_05: Yeah, uh, I mean, it fixes it up, fix it up.
- 16:36SPEAKER_05: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 16:37SPEAKER_05: Uh I mean it creates lots of jobs and cheap vacation spots, you know.
- 16:41SPEAKER_05: Uh, we actually have someone who works for them who kind of tips us off and uh or just looks in cities where the mayor is a democrat.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: You know, well, that's a good start, certainly.
- 16:53SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: That's a great idea.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: I just can't tell you how much I appreciate this.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Is there any other place that you could recommend?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: I'm a little concerned.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: I I I I do want to get Kathy with me this time because you know, eight is enough, isn't that a TP show?
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: And you know, approaching that pretty rapidly.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: So Jeff, Jeff, funny you should ask about other locations.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: I was just gonna ask you, Dave, about some of the locations that Diana talked about when she was on the show.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: I remember she talked about Gaza.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: She thought Gaza was a very, very hot place, and she talked about Mozambique.
- 17:28SPEAKER_05: Oh, mo mo uh well, the issue with Mozambique, they have uh kind of somewhat uh closed their borders to us, uh, which isn't exactly the most fun uh conversation to have when walking in.
- 17:41SPEAKER_05: Uh not so much because of you know anything that uh we did, uh, but they were I'm just gonna say they were very thorough at the border, and they have very, very strict laws uh when it comes to customs and and artifact smuggling.
- 17:57SPEAKER_05: But you you gotta figure out stuff.
- 17:59SPEAKER_05: The other place I highly recommend uh to definitely keep an eye on while we're doing all of this is uh I know it's a little bit closer to Steve, maybe, um, but uh Minnesota um is a great place right now.
- 18:14SPEAKER_05: Uh again, get in on the ground floor of Minnesota, because I have a feeling that's gonna that's gonna be a small crater in about a week.
- 18:22SPEAKER_05: Uh a lot of ice bargains there.
- 18:25SPEAKER_05: Yeah, exactly.
- 18:25SPEAKER_05: And we are we're expanding to our possible ice ice cation there.
- 18:30SPEAKER_05: Um again, uh we had a little bit of a struggle getting them on the list.
- 18:33SPEAKER_05: We uh say we had a couple of uh uh whistleblowers, no pun intended, uh that were kind of letting us know what was going on there.
- 18:40SPEAKER_05: Uh but yeah, I think I think Minnesota is gonna be a great place to run into, uh specifically the Minneapolis region.
- 18:46SPEAKER_05: And hey, they're doing SummerSlam in the summer, so wow.
- 18:49SPEAKER_05: You know, it's gonna be a fun place to go.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: That's nice.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Do me a favor and say hi to Diane for me and thank her again for the the tip on Gaza.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: You know, at the time Gaza was starting to be blown up quite a bit, but boy, I had no idea what the condition of the guy of the Gaza Strip would be by the time they were done with it.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: And you know, I I actually went there and uh on vacation, it was great, lost 15 pounds.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: And uh yeah, because there's no food, so well, no, there's no week for two weeks, you know, yeah.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: And I got very sick, and and you know, the hospitals aren't weren't working either.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: So electricity is an amazing thing in a hospital, I'll tell you.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but Diane nailed it, you know, she's the one that pointed it out, and you know, I was kind of disappointed.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: We were looking at going to Hawaii, and I was kind of hoping some of those fires would come back, you know, before we before we went there, because we got some bargains last time when the big problem with Hawaii is everything's so expensive to start with because they're important it.
- 19:50SPEAKER_05: So again, when you bring it in, you set it on fire, the company feels they got to take a loss.
- 19:54SPEAKER_05: So what little they can have, they will double the price on, um, just to try to compensate for it.
- 19:59SPEAKER_05: But again, yeah.
- 20:00SPEAKER_05: Uh boy, you you really got to get into the ear of a warlord.
- 20:04SPEAKER_05: Uh they'll definitely tell you where the supplies are, and you're able to kind of tell where what's moving, and then that's how you cheapen it.
- 20:11SPEAKER_05: Uh, you can say all expenses paid when there's no expenses to pay for, and thus you can lower the price down and still seem like it's a bargain.
- 20:20SPEAKER_05: Uh again, Diane's definitely the one uh that that told me about that once.
- 20:25SPEAKER_05: Again, I will definitely send her your love, boys, and uh thank you so much for having me.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, hey, thanks a lot for coming on the show, Dave.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: And and you know, to show our appreciation, we understand Big D never actually bought an ad on our show, but we decided together with the Steve and Jeff Show band, and we created an ad for Big D travel.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: We're gonna take us out of the show.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: It's uh they're gonna play your ad and then they're gonna take us out of the show.
- 20:53SPEAKER_01: So listen, thanks again, Dave.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Give Diane our love and thanks, Dave.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: We will see you on those big, beautiful casinos in Gaza or Panoy, either one.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Okay.
