- 0:12Speaker 1: It's hell love. Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Sham.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Your host drump Shooter, and it's Friday, which means I
- 0:19Speaker 1: hear your friend Corey Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey, are
- 0:22Speaker 1: you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: I am here, darling.
- 0:24Speaker 1: How you being great? This time? Last week I was
- 0:26Speaker 1: in London. I was at home visiting my mom and dad.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I know, so we didn't get to play. Last week
- 0:33Speaker 1: I did a show from my mom and dad's spare bedroom. Utias.
- 0:37Speaker 1: You're so kind. There's a few technical issues, I'm the
- 0:39Speaker 1: first to admit, but it's lovely to be back in
- 0:42Speaker 1: my US home. And yesterday I was on the Elvis
- 0:45Speaker 1: durranhow so I've got to say hello, welcome to all
- 0:49Speaker 1: our new listeners. He's the number one radio show in America.
- 0:54Speaker 1: He beats Howard Stern, he beats Ryan Seacrest. The numbers
- 0:58Speaker 1: are staggering. And he's so kind to me, and he
- 1:02Speaker 1: plugs our podcast and he genuinely listens to it. He
- 1:05Speaker 1: listens to it's always texting me about the gossip each day.
- 1:09Speaker 1: So after his show, on the way home, he listens
- 1:12Speaker 1: to us, and I'm so thrilled and I'm so lucky
- 1:14Speaker 1: to have him as a friend, as a mentor. Thank you,
- 1:17Speaker 1: Elvis Deveran. I know you are listening. Okay, let's jump
- 1:20Speaker 1: into the show. But leve lel lul Lulu. What time
- 1:22Speaker 1: is it? My friends? It is tea times big story
- 1:25Speaker 1: at the top of the show, A bit of a
- 1:26Speaker 1: sad one here, Megan markl and Prince Harry are losing
- 1:30Speaker 1: a lot of their Hollywood friends. They're quote dropping like flyers.
- 1:34Speaker 1: So Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, who I used
- 1:38Speaker 1: to represent, I was Paul's publicist, Low Paul, I know
- 1:40Speaker 1: I've represented everybody. He was a real character, really fun,
- 1:44Speaker 1: really campy, really over the top, and he really did
- 1:47Speaker 1: know Diana and these little boys when they were just tiny.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And so he's saying that their circle seems to be
- 1:53Speaker 1: getting smaller and smaller, and a lot of a listeners
- 1:56Speaker 1: are dropping them like flies. If you think about it,
- 2:00Speaker 1: when they first came to America, they were with Oprah,
- 2:02Speaker 1: the cloonies were at their wedding. All that seems to
- 2:05Speaker 1: have gone away a little bit. Now. This sounds mean
- 2:09Speaker 1: and cruel, but I would argue we shouldn't be surprised.
- 2:13Speaker 1: This is what life is about particularly Hollywood. If you
- 2:16Speaker 1: think of friends who have come into your life, few
- 2:19Speaker 1: of them actually lasts the long run. I meet hundreds
- 2:23Speaker 1: of people each week doing what I do for a living.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It's a thrill. I like it, but I never mistake
- 2:28Speaker 1: what that relationship is. It's transactional. And I'm not putting
- 2:31Speaker 1: Oprah down here. I'm not putting Gail King down here.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But they've only got so much time in their life
- 2:38Speaker 1: to have new friends. And it's lovely meeting new people,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and you know, Naughti's I'm such an optimist. I always
- 2:44Speaker 1: believe my best new friend is just around the corner.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I really do believe that. However, it often doesn't quite
- 2:51Speaker 1: work out like that because of timing, because of schedules.
- 2:53Speaker 1: When they came to America, everybody wanted a piece of them.
- 2:57Speaker 1: They were the it couple. They're on the of all
- 3:00Speaker 1: of the magazines. But nobody stays red hot forever.
- 3:04Speaker 3: No, no, I mean. And the thing is too when
- 3:06Speaker 3: it comes to the friendship aspect. Those weddings were so
- 3:10Speaker 3: high profile. You had people who didn't even know them
- 3:13Speaker 3: at the wedding. Most weddings in general, you invite family,
- 3:16Speaker 3: you invite friends, you know, you know that was just
- 3:19Speaker 3: as you said, transactional. In many ways, Oprah were sort
- 3:22Speaker 3: of solidifying her future interview by showing.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Up at that wedding.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Oh she's no fool. Yeah, yeah, she's no fool.
- 3:28Speaker 2: So I don't know, I think you know.
- 3:30Speaker 3: So, I don't know if it's really just some people
- 3:32Speaker 3: just are over it or not the royal family thing
- 3:34Speaker 3: in general.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Perhaps Americans might be just over it.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I was told that Megan and Harry just were
- 3:39Speaker 1: not that much fun. They take themselves too seriously. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: know somebody who knows them and wish them is the best.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Really just wish them well. But sometimes don't meet the
- 3:49Speaker 1: people that you idolize. Don't meet people that you're a
- 3:53Speaker 1: fan of, because they often disappoint you. We've worked with
- 3:56Speaker 1: a lot of celebrities, a lot of famous people, and
- 4:00Speaker 1: they're not quite as interesting in real life as they
- 4:03Speaker 1: are on the big screen or on the TV screen
- 4:05Speaker 1: or on a podcast, even although I'm just as entertaining
- 4:08Speaker 1: get Bartino's Let me just put that on the record
- 4:11Speaker 1: right now. But I think here that this is the
- 4:14Speaker 1: natural ebb and flows of life. I would love, in
- 4:18Speaker 1: theory to be friends with Harry and Meghan. I'd be lovely,
- 4:21Speaker 1: but actually would it with the needy texts, with the complaints,
- 4:26Speaker 1: would the being victims? Would that actually play well as
- 4:30Speaker 1: a friend. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong, Maybe they're
- 4:33Speaker 1: absolutely lovely. Here my experience with famous people. I don't
- 4:37Speaker 1: know Harry and Meghan, but I do know a lot
- 4:39Speaker 1: of other famous people is I don't really want them
- 4:42Speaker 1: to be my friends. I have a really great group
- 4:45Speaker 1: of friends and it's not based on transactions. And with celebrities,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I always want something. I always want gossip, I always
- 4:53Speaker 1: want dish. So I'm in work mode with them, and
- 4:56Speaker 1: with my real friends, I'm in real friend mode. And
- 4:59Speaker 1: that's now what's happening to Megan and Harry. Although inside
- 5:02Speaker 1: is to tell me don't be upset, they're perfectly fine
- 5:05Speaker 1: with this. They know what it's like to have people
- 5:07Speaker 1: come in and out of their lives, and to be honest,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I don't think they wanted to be best friends with
- 5:12Speaker 1: a lot of the Hollywood people. So they're all figuring
- 5:15Speaker 1: this out together, which brings us to our pole question
- 5:18Speaker 1: of the day. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are losing
- 5:22Speaker 1: friends in Hollywood. Would you like to be friends with
- 5:26Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan. I know you're going to say yes,
- 5:28Speaker 1: but think about it. Do you really want another needy
- 5:31Speaker 1: friend in your life? Think of the most needy friend
- 5:34Speaker 1: you have. You've had them for years, so you can't
- 5:36Speaker 1: get rid of them. I've got someone. I've had this
- 5:38Speaker 1: person in my life for twenty years. I adore her,
- 5:40Speaker 1: but she's really needy. But twenty I can't throw away
- 5:43Speaker 1: twenty years of history. Would I start a new relationship
- 5:47Speaker 1: that I know is going to be complicated? What do
- 5:49Speaker 1: you think? Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty
- 5:51Speaker 1: Nice Rob or our Facebook page which is Nordy Gossip,
- 5:54Speaker 1: and be sure to check back on Monday to hear
- 5:57Speaker 1: your results. Hey, Corey Love, what are you working on? Yes?
- 6:00Speaker 3: Well, another housewife scandal, and this one involves Leah McSweeney.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Now she is filing a new lawsuit against Andy Cohen,
- 6:09Speaker 3: and she's claiming that he tried to bully her into silence.
- 6:13Speaker 3: And in these new court papers that were filed on Tuesday,
- 6:16Speaker 3: she says that Cohen attempted to intimidate her into silence
- 6:19Speaker 3: and tried to have her blackballed in the entertainment industry
- 6:22Speaker 3: after she initially sued him, which is also a problem.
- 6:25Speaker 3: You can't retaliate against people in the workplace when they
- 6:28Speaker 3: sue you, So that's pretty bad too, if that's true.
- 6:31Speaker 3: But the suit alleges that the producer has had historically
- 6:34Speaker 3: seen increased ratings when the cast members became unstable and volatile.
- 6:39Speaker 3: You know, everyone loves a good train wreck, that's great
- 6:41Speaker 3: for storylines, and they tried to replicate that success by
- 6:44Speaker 3: pushing McSweeney, who's a recovering alcoholic with a history of
- 6:48Speaker 3: mental issues, to drink. So she's claiming they really tried to.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Exploit her.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Illness, her alcoholism to try to get ratings on the show.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Then she minted her suit, and she says that Cohen
- 7:01Speaker 3: retaliated against her and had his lawyers threaten her publicly
- 7:05Speaker 3: and malign her in the press and attempt to black
- 7:09Speaker 3: ball her from the industry, now another common thing that
- 7:12Speaker 3: we've heard before. She's also claiming that Cohen was doing
- 7:15Speaker 3: cocaine with some of the Housewives stars and giving them
- 7:19Speaker 3: special favors. He says that's not true, and of course
- 7:22Speaker 3: Bravo says that an investigation has cleared Andy of wrongdoing.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Although I don't know if you could. I don't know
- 7:28Speaker 3: if they can say that he didn't do cocaine. I mean,
- 7:30Speaker 3: no one unless you're like in Studio fifty four in
- 7:33Speaker 3: the seventies. People don't just do that in the public.
- 7:35Speaker 3: So I don't know how Bravo can you confirm that
- 7:38Speaker 3: Andy didn't do that. But they are sticking by Andy
- 7:41Speaker 3: very much because it's an hr issue. I mean, yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 3: that's a big lawsuit potentially, So Bravo sticking to their guy, right.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think double down on him? I'm
- 7:50Speaker 1: surprised about it. They have doubled down on Andy really aggressively.
- 7:53Speaker 1: They have a very aggressive PR department, and that's what
- 7:56Speaker 1: Leah appears to be very upset about that after she
- 7:59Speaker 1: filed the first lawsuit, they did go after her pretty heavily.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Andy has his own radio show where he could talk
- 8:05Speaker 1: about this. His lawyers fired off some really harsh statements,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and now she said she's being basically intimidated to not
- 8:12Speaker 1: say anything. And this is a message to every other
- 8:14Speaker 1: housewife out there. It's sloppy. Let's be clear here, Brather's
- 8:18Speaker 1: a sloppy network and be sloppy. The shows are sloppy.
- 8:22Speaker 1: We shouldn't be surprised that eventually this was going to happen.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Now it's complicated though, because Lea, I guess she knew
- 8:31Speaker 1: what she was getting into. Is it true that Bravo
- 8:33Speaker 1: exploits people's weaknesses to get more ratings. No, it's not
- 8:38Speaker 1: a secret. We've all seen the show. A lot of
- 8:40Speaker 1: the women that I know, and I'm not saying all
- 8:42Speaker 1: of them know this too. Like they are willing to
- 8:45Speaker 1: be trainrex, to take a lot of money to be famous.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Nobody makes them drink, they can say, though, although if
- 8:53Speaker 1: they're two stricts, they probably won't be invited back. It's
- 8:55Speaker 1: a very difficult balance because it's a very difficult, toxic relationship.
- 9:01Speaker 1: We might not have been housewives, but we've all worked
- 9:04Speaker 1: in that one job that was just toxic. We knew
- 9:07Speaker 1: it was a mess. We had to go and have
- 9:09Speaker 1: drinks with our boss that we didn't really want to do,
- 9:11Speaker 1: but we sort of had to sit there and play
- 9:14Speaker 1: up to them. And it's an awful dynamic and I'm
- 9:16Speaker 1: glad it's being exposed because this has been going on,
- 9:19Speaker 1: particularly in the entertainment business, for a really long time.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Normally it's men, powerful men who are using other people
- 9:26Speaker 1: to get what they want, and I think there's a
- 9:29Speaker 1: lot of reckoning coming here. As you said, Bravo has
- 9:32Speaker 1: had an internal investigation and they've declared Andy is innocent. However,
- 9:38Speaker 1: they've not released that investigation. I'd love to read it
- 9:41Speaker 1: and Leah saying nobody interviewed her, so how can you
- 9:44Speaker 1: really investigate this? How can you investigate it if no
- 9:48Speaker 1: one's calling her and to interview all the housewives who
- 9:51Speaker 1: were on Bravo's payroll, they ain't gonna say anything bad.
- 9:54Speaker 1: They're being paid by Bravo, and so this is going
- 9:58Speaker 1: to go forward. I do think, though, brother has picked
- 10:01Speaker 1: the wrong person to mess with here, because Leah is
- 10:04Speaker 1: not as messy as a Ramona. She's not as all
- 10:08Speaker 1: over the place as a Teresa. She's quite methodic call
- 10:11Speaker 1: and I would not be at all surprised if she
- 10:15Speaker 1: doesn't have receipts. There's a lot of emails and texts
- 10:18Speaker 1: that go back and forth between the housewives, producers, even Andy.
- 10:22Speaker 1: All of this is gonna come out okay, moving forward.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I love this story because it just proves that Taylor
- 10:27Speaker 1: Swift is human. She was in Edinburgh. It was freezing,
- 10:31Speaker 1: It was absolutely freezing and she had some snot on
- 10:35Speaker 1: her nose. That's right. She needed to blow her nose
- 10:37Speaker 1: while she was on stage for three hours. She couldn't
- 10:39Speaker 1: quite find tissues, so she sort of used the sleeve
- 10:42Speaker 1: of her costume a little bit down. The footage has
- 10:45Speaker 1: gone viral. Ultimately, She's Extraordinary sold out three nights in Edinburgh.
- 10:51Speaker 1: She's heading to London this weekend. I got my niece's tickets,
- 10:54Speaker 1: so suddenly I'm the most I know. I'm the best
- 10:56Speaker 1: uncle in the world. I've ignored them for pretty much
- 10:58Speaker 1: twenty years, and now I have got the Moll Taylor
- 11:01Speaker 1: sweep tickets and go back to me arrays. Now I
- 11:04Speaker 1: am Mary Popping. So they're all going, I like this,
- 11:08Speaker 1: we forget that popstars and you want to perform recorder,
- 11:11Speaker 1: You've been on stage. Sometimes you have to blow your nose.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Sometimes you even need to get to the bathroom. Like
- 11:17Speaker 1: stuff happens. You are a human being, yeah.
- 11:20Speaker 3: And even like sometimes you sneeze or you have a
- 11:22Speaker 3: car for you know, and to try to like play
- 11:25Speaker 3: that off is worse, you know.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I like that.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Taylor was like, I'm gonna handle this.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Myself and blow my nose on my sleep because we're also,
- 11:32Speaker 3: is she going to do wait for like you know,
- 11:33Speaker 3: stop her song and wait for like her assistant to
- 11:35Speaker 3: bring a tissue?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Go?
- 11:37Speaker 2: I love it. I love it.
- 11:38Speaker 3: I think that and I like your point too. Robin
- 11:40Speaker 3: makes her more human, and it plays right into her brand.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Her brand is that she is just that girl we
- 11:46Speaker 3: can relate to, almost like a Jennifer Anniston, although I
- 11:49Speaker 3: don't ever would do it, but you know, same kind
- 11:52Speaker 3: of thing, right, like relatable, that same kind of celebrity.
- 11:55Speaker 2: So I think it's great.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It's a lesson for all of us. Lean into your mistakes,
- 11:59Speaker 1: make your mistakes your advantages. For a long time, I
- 12:02Speaker 1: denied that I had a small arm. My right arm
- 12:05Speaker 1: is damaged, and once I started to lean into it,
- 12:08Speaker 1: it's part of me. It's there. It's not going anywhere.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Become human, it only makes you more likable. Okay, we've
- 12:14Speaker 1: got some Bachelor news. What's going on.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Though, Well, this is kind of a funny story.
- 12:19Speaker 3: But I mean, I guess not if you're Joey, but
- 12:21Speaker 3: so Joey Graziati, and I think that's just I always
- 12:24Speaker 3: mess his name up, but I think he progo that's right, Joey. Okay, yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 3: Joey Graziati from The Bachelor. Of course, he and his
- 12:30Speaker 3: fiance Kelsey Andrews, and they are navigating financial.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Challenges now after being on the show. Now, he says
- 12:37Speaker 2: that his credit score was.
- 12:38Speaker 3: At seven point thirty before the show, and it dropped
- 12:41Speaker 3: eighty points because he had to miss credit card well
- 12:43Speaker 3: not because he had to, but because he missed credit card.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Payments he did during the filming.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I guess you do get distracted, I mean, because that's
- 12:50Speaker 3: a really that's a big, big life shift, being on
- 12:54Speaker 3: a national television show.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It is.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I can see where that might you know, he may
- 12:58Speaker 3: have just forgotten, of course, but he says he went
- 13:00Speaker 3: on the show and he had a payment from a
- 13:02Speaker 3: credit card that he.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Didn't answer for two and a half months, and he.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Explained, how you know this, this dropped his credit score
- 13:08Speaker 3: and now he can't release secure housing, you know, he
- 13:10Speaker 3: said he can't even get into.
- 13:11Speaker 2: An apartment building now.
- 13:13Speaker 3: He and Anderson, who's twenty six and Graziati's twenty nine,
- 13:17Speaker 3: so they're still in their twenties and trying to get
- 13:18Speaker 3: their life started. They're living with two friends in a
- 13:22Speaker 3: rental in New Orleans and Anderson's a former project manager
- 13:25Speaker 3: and she quit her job to reorganize her life after
- 13:28Speaker 3: the show as well. So it's just adding to the
- 13:30Speaker 3: pressure that they're facing, you know, with the show. And
- 13:33Speaker 3: I want to bring up it's interesting because it's very
- 13:35Speaker 3: often the public mistakes television shows when they.
- 13:38Speaker 2: See people and they see us, you know, on TV.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I think they automatically think that we're like, you know,
- 13:43Speaker 3: rolling in the show, yeah, rich, And that's not always
- 13:47Speaker 3: the ess and often not.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Actually it's more like it. And I think that's the
- 13:52Speaker 1: mistake here that Joey and people make on the show.
- 13:55Speaker 1: They are treated like superstars. For six weeks, they're on
- 13:58Speaker 1: the covers of the magazines, they're getting into people watching,
- 14:01Speaker 1: and then the minute the show ends, it's over. ABC
- 14:03Speaker 1: moves on to the next one. PR is not returning
- 14:06Speaker 1: your calls anymore. Like for six or eight weeks, the
- 14:08Speaker 1: PR department is all over Joey, getting him clothes, getting
- 14:12Speaker 1: him limos, taking him to premieres, doing photo shoots, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: then the minute the show ends, bye bye. And then
- 14:18Speaker 1: you've got to figure it out yourself and what are
- 14:20Speaker 1: you going to do? And a lot of people give
- 14:22Speaker 1: up their jobs, a lot of people think they can
- 14:25Speaker 1: be a little sloppy with their credit because they think
- 14:27Speaker 1: millions is going to be coming your own and it
- 14:29Speaker 1: never is. Always be careful with your finances. Always, you've
- 14:33Speaker 1: got to be financially responsible because otherwise it bites you,
- 14:36Speaker 1: bites you in the bottom. I know that I struggle
- 14:39Speaker 1: a lot. I try to be so generous, but at
- 14:41Speaker 1: the same time, I don't want to be irresponsible and
- 14:43Speaker 1: so Joey, here, I totally get what happened. You were
- 14:46Speaker 1: the guy. You were literally the bachelor. Thirty women, beautiful
- 14:51Speaker 1: women were throwing themselves at you. ABC had put your
- 14:55Speaker 1: picture up in Times Square. It was as big as
- 14:57Speaker 1: a buzz and you buy into it. You believe all
- 15:00Speaker 1: your own hype. And then the minute the show ends.
- 15:02Speaker 1: This happens actually a lot to the housewives. The housewives
- 15:05Speaker 1: think it will never end. They think they're stars forever,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and you see people like Bethany struggle to try and
- 15:11Speaker 1: get back into the spotlight, desperately wanting to reclaim that
- 15:16Speaker 1: once it's gone, it's gone. Joey, I think my advice
- 15:19Speaker 1: here is forget the TV dreams. Get a job. Get
- 15:22Speaker 1: a job that you like. You're not going to be
- 15:24Speaker 1: the next Ryan Seacrest. I mean, it just it just
- 15:26Speaker 1: hasn't happened. The show has been on nine for decades.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I mean, you know, it's one of my favorite stories
- 15:31Speaker 3: is Jenny McCarthy when she was like a playboy, playmate
- 15:34Speaker 3: of Pinhouse, whatever it was, that she wants some money.
- 15:36Speaker 3: She said, I can blow this money or I'm gonna
- 15:38Speaker 3: go hire a publicist and.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Extend this fame.
- 15:41Speaker 3: So you know, you could he could hire a publicist
- 15:43Speaker 3: and try and stretch it out, but that's at his
- 15:45Speaker 3: own expense.
- 15:46Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. Do you know who Jenny hired me?
- 15:50Speaker 1: I was, Yeah, I swear I funny and so naughty,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and she always is very kind to me. So if
- 15:57Speaker 1: you're listening and low, okay, let's take a quick break
- 15:59Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 16:03Speaker 1: Naughty but Night Show. I'm Rob shooting with our dear
- 16:04Speaker 1: friend Corey Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to the polls, dah.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Last year, we talked about how King Charles has directly
- 16:11Speaker 1: asked Prince Harry to stop leaking their family secrets. Stop
- 16:15Speaker 1: it like you leaky, leaky, leaky, by know it's you.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Stop it Harry. We watched you on Oprah. We read
- 16:20Speaker 1: the book, Harry, please stop. Our question was, should Harry stop,
- 16:25Speaker 1: let's have a look. Sixty percent said no, it's his
- 16:28Speaker 1: story too. It's not just Charles's story, it's his story too. Wow.
- 16:33Speaker 1: But forty percent do think he should take it down
- 16:36Speaker 1: a notch. I don't think we should tell Harry what
- 16:39Speaker 1: to do. It's his life, that his stories. However, I
- 16:43Speaker 1: do think we can advise him that maybe it's time
- 16:46Speaker 1: to move on to the next chapter. To constantly be
- 16:48Speaker 1: going back to these family traumas, and I understand it.
- 16:52Speaker 1: There's a lot to unpack there. I just don't think
- 16:54Speaker 1: it's that healthy for Harry. Heyky, don't forget to vote
- 16:58Speaker 1: on today's pole. Go to our Twitter pay check naughty
- 17:00Speaker 1: nice robber on Facebook page, which is notaughty. I'm be sure.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Let's check back on Monday to hear your results. And
- 17:05Speaker 1: now it's time for a nice racist of the today.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yes, well, I like the story.
- 17:12Speaker 3: It goes into our whole celebrity conversation. Quite honestly, Miley
- 17:16Speaker 3: Cyrus is admitting that she doesn't really maintain friendships with
- 17:19Speaker 3: other famous people because they don't feel like they're her people.
- 17:23Speaker 2: So she says that, you know, she doesn't actively.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Engage in that celebrity that celebrity community, and she's not
- 17:29Speaker 3: very active at all really when it comes to being
- 17:31Speaker 3: in other entertainment circles. And she said that being in
- 17:34Speaker 3: celebrity circles just doesn't feel natural to her. Doesn't feel
- 17:37Speaker 3: like those are my people when I'm in that room.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Now. Despite that, of course, she made an exception. Of course,
- 17:42Speaker 2: when it.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Comes to Beyonce, that's a good exception.
- 17:46Speaker 2: She said, well, when to come with.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Beyonce, maybe, but also let's not forget Dolly Parton is
- 17:50Speaker 3: her godmother.
- 17:51Speaker 2: That's right. You know, if you're gonna have a couple exceptions,
- 17:54Speaker 2: those are two good ones.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Are the two. I agree with her on this cory.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I don't have celebrity friends. I know a lot of celebrities.
- 18:01Speaker 1: My husband Bruce has more celebrity friends than I do.
- 18:05Speaker 1: But I don't feel like they're my people. That's such
- 18:07Speaker 1: a good way of putting it. I just don't relate
- 18:09Speaker 1: to them. I don't have the same experiences as them.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I don't have the same wealth as them, I don't
- 18:14Speaker 1: have the same power as them. I like equal relationships
- 18:17Speaker 1: or relationships where I can build people up, friends up.
- 18:20Speaker 1: But I do understand what Miley is saying here. When
- 18:22Speaker 1: Bruce and I got married, the one rule of our
- 18:24Speaker 1: wedding was no famous people. It's our day, not theirs,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and they would have stopped the spotlight. And so we
- 18:29Speaker 1: didn't have anybody. I mean, I had to tell Joan
- 18:31Speaker 1: Rivers she couldn't come, and I don't regret she sent
- 18:33Speaker 1: a lovely gift. The ladies of the View were not there,
- 18:36Speaker 1: the people from the morning shows were not there. Kathy
- 18:38Speaker 1: Lee was not as really close as Jerry Springer. No,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I didn't want any celebrities lighting them up. Let's do
- 18:52Speaker 1: the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty. Matt Boehmer, I love him,
- 18:55Speaker 1: is claiming that he lost out on the Superman roll
- 18:57Speaker 1: because he's gay, saying his sexuality was webonized against him.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I believe this. He said he was in a four
- 19:03Speaker 1: month audition process, and he went on the cattle call.
- 19:06Speaker 1: He went on and on and on, chemistry tests, flying
- 19:08Speaker 1: back and forth to La New York, and in the
- 19:11Speaker 1: end they decided, hmm, his sexuality isn't something they wanted
- 19:16Speaker 1: to deal with, which is so stupid, because he's the
- 19:19Speaker 1: perfect look, he's a great actor, he's the right age.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Everything about this would make sense except who he loves.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Shame on you. Okay, let's end with her moment of
- 19:33Speaker 1: just one small positive thought in the morning can change
- 19:36Speaker 1: your whole day. I force myself now and I brush
- 19:39Speaker 1: my teeth to say one nice thing about me, just one.
- 19:43Speaker 1: If you don't like what you look like, look at
- 19:44Speaker 1: your hands, if you don't like your eyes, look at
- 19:47Speaker 1: your hair. I find something I like, and I look
- 19:50Speaker 1: in the mirror and I say it. And I know
- 19:52Speaker 1: it sounds like a cliche or just silly. One positive
- 19:57Speaker 1: thought every single morning. Get in to the habit of
- 20:01Speaker 1: doing it, because it will change your whole Hey, that
- 20:05Speaker 1: is it for this week. Thank you so much for

- 20:24Speaker 1: Take care of everybody.
- 20:27Speaker 2: It's not even nice, okay, darling to see Yeah,
