- 2:34[SPEAKER_04]: Still scared to sell.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_04]: and still confused about how to turn attention into actual income.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_04]: Today's guest didn't wait.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_04]: She built a six figure ice cream shop in 60 days at just 24 years old.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_04]: Became a mom, scaled to multiple seven figures by 26.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_04]: And as now, turning her real life experience into brands.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_04]: funding plays and monetization strategies that actually move money.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_04]: This episode is for anybody trying to figure out how to build while raising kids, how to turn pressure into profit, and how to stop looking successful or in line, but broke in real life.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_04]: And make sure!
- 3:19[SPEAKER_04]: you stand to the end because she's breaking down what it really makes what really makes people money on social media what most entrepreneurs do too late and how mothers can build wealth without losing themselves in the process ladies and gentlemen, right of applause for the
- 3:35[SPEAKER_04]: Trishana, hello.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_04]: How are you?
- 3:36[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, that was a great intro.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like I'd be like, yeah, I'm here, what's up?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm here.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, let me tell you, like, I'd be so first of all, we'll all would do.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_04]: You're a legend.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate you, that means a lot.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you started, like, you were really, you really held the torch, so.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_04]: Look, we clippin' that up, I played that over and pre-not appreciate that because I think that for me my goal, I think my purpose in life is just to amplify voices, like that's it.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care about people who are looking for the same if you will.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_04]: I care mostly about the people who are like killing it.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: And how can I help to amplify their voices?
- 4:18[SPEAKER_04]: And I've been a fan of yours for a very long time, which is why I'm like, oh, this is way over.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_04]: Do we build what's supposed to be sitting down?
- 4:26[SPEAKER_04]: And we were talking behind the scenes because like, what you were doing that such a young age was so remarkable, but couple that with,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_04]: you're marketing like you were the genius at it.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_04]: Like I used to watch your video, you were funny, like it was like your marketing was all point.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I almost started feeling like he was cringe though a little bit.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_04]: No, because I think that's what made it fire though.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_04]: You understand?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_04]: Because you are unapologetically, you, you know, again, you had one of those like, like when you used to do the dancing on top of your shops and all that, like nobody's dope.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_04]: But the other thing about it, so you were bringing a tension, but it wasn't just a tension, like to be able to be 24 and you're opening up your own ice cream shots.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, I think that's remarkable because a lot of people who are older, they don't believe in themselves enough to even do things that aren't...
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it really is crazy to me.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: I tell people at the time, you don't really have to believe it's gonna work just try and see what happens.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't believe it, but half that stuff was going to work.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: So this day I was like, dang, y'all really gave me money
- 5:33[SPEAKER_04]: But wait, talk about that for and and we just look, we just say that because you're normally I'm not very transparent and not like, but talk about that for a little bit, right?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_04]: Because you said that that you didn't even believe the things are going to work, but you said I'm going to try it anyway, like talk about that, bye.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: When they gave me a call, so I helped people get funding from, you know, private lenders, bad credit scores and all that.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I was 24 years old, no job for I was doing here and then say, well, literally.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: And they was like, you know, what?
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: We can give you 36,000 dollars a start, try some shop and like, y'all are gone.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why would y'all give me, you know, a 24 year old with no credentials, you know, I'm saying no job, no nothing back at a school freshman's car payment money to start an ice cream shop and no reason I started the ice cream shop is because I have one to California trying to where I currently live now trying to, you know, give people where my clothes because I started this like teak.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then I was like, oh, I tried road ice cream, which I never liked, but I seen the line was out the door.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so I just like, oh, I should do something like this.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't because I had a passion for ice cream and I said, because I wanted to be this ice cream lady.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: I just thought it was a smart idea.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: So that was really it.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: And so when they gave me the money to do it, I was completely shocked.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I tell people all the time, you don't have to love what you sell per se, just love the process.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_04]: Let's start at the beginning and now tell me the Trashana Helm story like who is she This he come up with this he come from money how to see how this entrepreneur spirit like give me give me give me the story Okay, so truth I come from a father that's on drugs Met so I grew up seeing him just like
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: walking up and down the street with like cowboy boots in a backpack like begging for money and And he always he was a truck driver, so he would have money and then he would go through sports where he had the money and a lot of us do this Whether we're on drugs or not we're up when we have money and then we're right back down and so he was going through his vicious cycle But then also seeing my mom trying to hustle, you know trying to get it.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: She works like two or three, you know the typical black mom story work two, three, four jobs She also started hair salon, so I would be at home while she been in the hair salon then after that She worked a graveyard ship and
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I just remember my mom would always read me stuff like black enterprise magazine and always tell me like you could do this you can do that.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: I remember we still going road trips as a kid with like my grandma like, oh, it's we're going um eventually my mom would turn off the radio and be like did you see they said black enterprise it was like,
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: And so she always beat that in my head.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember being in school, I was in a scholar.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have, you know, I probably had ABCs, couple of these.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember my English teacher told me that I was basically not doing an English, and he had me do a quiz.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: And when I did the quiz, my reading comprehension level came back at fourth grade, reading comprehension level.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm in the eighth grade at this time.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: So they were talking about holding me back from high school, and so I'm like, nah, like,
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: I realized I really had a hard time comprehending, so my teachers like, what are you interested in?
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: And shout out to Mr. Calp, if I ever see you again, he brought me a business book.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, read this and tell me everything that you just read.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I was able to interpret that from start to finish.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: So he was like, you're not dumb.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: You just, you have a shortage interest, but you only care about what you care about.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it was that moment and a great, I realized I'm going to be honest for noir.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, and then did you grow up with like so I know you said your mom was an entrepreneur with anybody else in your family that was entrepreneur.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, my grandma also had a she has to listen to this day, a counseling agency.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: So she grew up with counselor therapist, my uncle, he did like travel agent and.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: everybody kind of had their foot in entrepreneurship in my family, but it was also kind of like a seeker.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: No one really talked about what they did or anything like that.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: And no one gave money to us, like growing up, I remember telling Uncle, like, I want to go out of town and try to give people to wear my boutique clothes and he was like, okay, here's $50.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, what?
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: the kids fit the others, but yeah.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of where I come from.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I just know seeing my mom.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: She she was very hard on me per se, but my brothers, you know, she was kind of like really easy going my brothers, but with me, she's like, she's trying to do this through this, but one thing I can say is my mom was very militant, but she always told me I could do anything I put my mind to.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I actually have a background in art.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: So that's really how I kind of got started to with art.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_04]: And so your mother being a heart on you, but also telling you you could do anything, does that, is that where, sort of like your confidence comes from?
- 9:49[SPEAKER_04]: Because to create a seven figure business at 26 is remarkable, at any age, so be honest.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_04]: So just so I could be clear, because I think a lot of times, especially people who watch this show.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: I know my first.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: seven figures at 24, 25, but multiple at 20.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: See, you know, the ice can shop hit six figures or hit seven figures a little year a year in like a year having.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, so excuse me, put some respect on your face.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: Pericles, pericles, dash.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_04]: So, so that's remarkable.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_04]: Um, because again, like, because, you know, on his show, um, we've, in of you a lot of people who make a lot of money.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: And so I think we make it seem like it's nothing, right?
- 10:32[SPEAKER_04]: But six fingers, seven fingers, that's, that's a big deal.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's relative.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_04]: Let me just say that because I, I could not also think that when you, don't make it a big deal, that's when it comes easier.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_04]: We should thought to about that.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: Well.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: I will say my mom was a little bit of a con artist because I started getting into our early on.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: I remember my grandma, my great grandma that made her soul racing piece, she kind of really helped raise us, my mom was just trying to figure things out.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Um, like always working.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember I used to just scribble and she brought me a picture was like, draw exactly what you see.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I was nine years old because she wasn't really impressed by my scribbles.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, draw exactly what you see.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I took a literal, like, okay, let me draw exactly what I see.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: So when I got done, she was like,
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: You can draw this like just like the picture so before you know what I mean like art Contest every time you go to like the local grocery store I have to like to make all my like pumpkins and like different stuff and I would always win all the like art contests From there my mom put me a bead making class so I'm like in a bee class.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: I'm six years old Doing so in less and so I've just developed so many skills so fast and
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, my mom also had a hair salon, so she would make me go door to door and like sell my jewelry to people or try to whatever I would make my mom like, yeah, this is for sale.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I remember I was in high school too and I had a bunch of paintings and I sold one of my paintings for $400.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: And my mom, my art teacher came to me was like, hey, this is so good.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to submit this for like a Scholastic Art Award.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: So when a one, the Scholastic Art Award, my mom,
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: behind my back, bought the painting back from one of the teachers and then sold it for more money.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I come to my mom and I'm like, Mom, can I get some, you know, can I choose like, No, you was cool with selling it for 400.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: So she was like, I basically double that.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I can't get nothing.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, No, never coming home and I had a bunch of, I remember coming home on data.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, Mom, where's my artwork?
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: And she showed me my artwork in a folder.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: balled up.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was like in a black and white and she laminated and folded up.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: It was like here.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, where's on my painting?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, oh, I still didn't make copies for you.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: When I told you, I'd tour the house up crying and my mom came to me and she said, listen, you can lead with your creative mind and be broke or lead with your business mind and be rich.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_04]: and it wiped out all of the arts he fart see now I'm like you can paint we gonna make this we gonna sell this we go you know so now that's my mentality right so that was a bar yeah was a bar and I'm I'm grateful for that you know because I think a lot of people lead with passion and a vision and not business acumen and this is why there's so many talent to people that are starring artists exactly right
- 13:01[SPEAKER_04]: And so talk about that, right?
- 13:03[SPEAKER_04]: So now you stumble across, open it up this ice cream shop because you sort of opportunity, how did you scale it?
- 13:10[SPEAKER_04]: How did you make six figures in just a couple of months?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_04]: How did you scale it to a seven figure operation?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: Um, really, I was running there and wrote my shoulders back and told my investors that I was good with marketing.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: And at the time, I probably had maybe 7,000 followers on Instagram, not much, but I just started doing stuff like dancing on tables and dancing on my building.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: I literally posted on one day in the middle of a blizzard.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, does anybody have a ladder that can meet me in the middle of a snowstorm?
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: And one person pulled up with a ladder, literally in a blizzard, with everything was closed and I just was on it.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: just dancing and just kind of went viral from there.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_04]: And you just thought about it.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: You just thought about it.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Literally.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_00]: Literally that second.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm very impulsive with anything that I kind of do.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: If I have an idea, I'm going to do it now because I'll get bored really quickly.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just decided to do that and more so scaling.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: I just always, okay, everything kind of really goes back to my childhood.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: I had my little cousin you still live with us when we were kids.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I always was in punishment because I never cleaned up.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: And my cousin was always getting praise for always cleaning up.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, if she's good at it, why don't we have her do it?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_00]: So I used to do here too when I was like six years old.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: I learned how to do here.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I would make a little like $20 for $40 here.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: And I would pay my cousin $3 for $4 to clean my room.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just realized many moves people at her early age.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: I remember being on punishment one time.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, Mom, Cargo's a little bit in concert.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, no, you own punishment.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'll pay you.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: And she was like, no, I'm just trying to do that.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like $40.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, nope, I was like $60.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, nope, I was like $80.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, you go and cut my back.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, my money, my money, my money, my money.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so that when I realize money moves people, I just start thinking about it with my ice cream business.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we can get people to run all this.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: We just gotta pay them.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know, or I can get, I can do this.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: I just need the money.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: And so I want people to really realize, you don't make bad music, you just need a budget, right?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have a bad product, you just need a budget.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: Everything is big right now, just because of money.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like, how many times have you want to go eat it in a restaurant?
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, this is trash.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: Who's keeping this place open?
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: funding.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: So, that really just kind of was like my wake up moment was everything can grow with money.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_04]: And so, and so, and how many, how many shops?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: Because it wasn't just one.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: It was three.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_04]: So you opened up three different ice cream shops.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_04]: And what were the time period?
- 15:25[SPEAKER_04]: So you opened the first one?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_04]: How did you like grow to the other three?
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: So the first one we opened, that one's still open so this day actually be eight years in August.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: We opened the first one and then end up calling those same investors and then they gave me money to open up my second location.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I had moved to Atlanta back in 2023, as when I opened up my third location.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I ended up closing the second one when I bought my business partner out.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I moved from Atlanta, I was just kind of, right when I kind of got closer to 30, I was like, my ice cream was good when I was in my 20s.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_00]: But now I'm 30, I'm like, I kind of seen other things for myself.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_04]: So talk about those other things, what was that pivot like?
- 16:05[SPEAKER_04]: But before you even get to the pivot, as you're making this money, your young, you are like, what is your money management skills?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I 24, make it six figures, seven figures.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like, are you making good decisions with the money?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: I still got my lunch money from the third grade.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really, really good at money management.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's the point where my friends, my own mother, as a child, was bringing me their money and I had a little stash that I kept literally since I was a kid.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: I had a stash and money that I kept for everybody.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: So my mom need to stay for money and we better add it.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: I will keep her money with all my friends.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: So I've always been really good with money management, that's just always been in me because I've always liked numbers, so I've always been good with that budgeting, saving, paying, I always know my percentages, my profit margins, like, and this is for anybody in business, if you have employees, your employees should never be more than 36% of, you know, your income, so I've always been really good with that as well.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_04]: And then so you, what do you do?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_04]: When you were making the money and you make money now, are you investing it, are you buying real estate like what's the thing that has to be a money?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: I do own real estate, but real estate is not my favorite thing.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to like to just kind of slow and I know people like, oh, it's a long game in game.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, but um, so I do have a really state with my mom.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_00]: We will share properties together.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: But one thing that I do like to invest in is just really my own companies if I'm being honest.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I like to do that and I like to put money aside like for my child in different accounts that kind of, you know, grow over time.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: But other than that, I don't do anything super crazy and I do invest in other smaller businesses.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I have some friends who own like restaurants, I invest in those as well.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_04]: awesome awesome and so what was that pivot like so ice cream what you know what did you decide to to get into what what did you create of mine take you from a business perspective.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: From a business perspective, I always think serve the masses, right?
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to make more money, serve more people.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of people get it.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: So it's kind of like playing soccer, right?
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: You see people kicked the ball and ultimate goal to get the ball into the goal.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: But you see them going all the way around.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: You see them pass the ball back for a back-of-forth.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: And it's entrepreneurship in the black community.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: We do that a lot.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: We take the hardest route possible to make money.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: Within today, if I stay here, take this water and make some money.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm running toward what you buy, you know what I'm saying?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, shameless plug and it tastes really good by the way, but a lot of people like hey take this and make make some money from me I've actually went and interviewed people and asked what they would do.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: They were like, oh, I got to get some flavoring.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: I got it at that
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: Other cultures will take this and be like here $2 right, but we got to figure out how to make it takes the best I had a pack in here.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: I try to give it to some.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like how would you make money?
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I got to learn how to break why you know what I'm saying you go to to these other markets They don't know how to do here because they sell you here these people are in love with oil because they sell oil They have guys issues right so I tell people
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: The way to make more money start the masses, what can you do quickly and what can you just do over and over again?
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: So that's my thought process and anything that I'm doing is just how can I serve more people to touch more hands?
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember when I first made my first six seven figures I call my brother like bro
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm touching Brad that he was like, I don't care, if you're not helping more people, I don't care.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so when he told me that I'm like, wow, he had money.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: No, but he was like, he's never been into that.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's not what he's thinking.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: He actually just joined the Navy, so he's getting to port it soon.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: But he always told me like, I don't care, he's more like a pastor kind of.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: I remember being suicidal when I was younger.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: I was really depressed.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember him telling me, remember calling him and I'm like, bro, like I kind of wanted to kill myself.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Good at it.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's like year older than me, but he was always just very good with words like and so I've never told him like you know, I'm having these suicidal thoughts and he told me one day like, do you want to die?
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, no, it's like you don't want to die?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, no, he said then, don't.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, no, but he was like, don't.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: And when he made me realize, like, everything is really a 50 50, right?
- 19:52[SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to be successful or do you not?
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: And so when he made me realize, you can be as half successful as F.H.H.S.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: not, like, everything is literally 50 50.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: And he made me realize that the ball is always in my court.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 20:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I always tell me that the power that I need is within me, you know, outside of God, everything else that you need is within.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so when he told me that, I snapped out of the pressure I had never been to press since that day.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_04]: That's powerful.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_04]: That's powerful.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and so I don't want to, I don't want to glaze over this.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
- 20:24[SPEAKER_04]: Because you talked about like being suicidal.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_04]: What was going on in, you know, in your life at the time?
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think I was like 17 years old.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: I actually got kicked out the house as 17 years old.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_00]: Me and my mom went through a very rough patch.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_00]: And it was kind of coming to a point where I didn't know.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I didn't know how to go about it.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't like that.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was broke.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't like being stuck.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like I wanted more.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_00]: The same time my mom was also having a hard time like letting me leave the nest and kind of explore more.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: And so we got into a bunch of altercations.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: I crashed my car and my mom's car.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: Total both of our cars.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: I got kicked out.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: It was just a rehearsal, but it's on purpose.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: The day that I graduated high school, I remember telling my mom I would be right back and she told me I'd better not leave.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, I'm 17, I just graduated high school.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's three o'clock in the afternoon when I came Lee.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: I was literally just going to wash my car and I won't tell you the language that was behind it.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: But she called me something out of my name that she's never called me before.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: And when I got back to the house, I'm like, I'm about to black out.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: And my cousin was in the car.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: She was like, don't do it, don't do it, don't do it.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: And um,
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: I just remember stopping and pushing my foot on the gas, as far as I could, and I told it her car in my car.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: And no, thank God.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: I need to think about that at the time.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I just remember getting put out the house at 17 years old and getting my first apartment at 17.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: So I really started my life very early on.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: and this is probably bad to say too, but I partied and drink at a very early age that it was all out of my system.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_00]: So by the time all of my friends were like partying and drinking, I had been there done a got a t-shirt and I'm working two, three jobs, you know.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm just like, I'm tired.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like a tired mom.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm tired of working.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm tired of working on these hours.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: My mom had my little brother two when I was nine years old.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like really responsible for him.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I was just, I was tired.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I was
- 22:13[SPEAKER_04]: Now that's funny because that's actually my story too, like I was outside early.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's so bad at time.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_04]: I got in my early 20s.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, I was cool.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_04]: I had everything about system.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_04]: So I was able to lock in and focus in, you know, become successful.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_04]: I wish I was always an entrepreneur.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_04]: But I wish maybe I'm I'm I'm doing pretty well, so I maybe I didn't but like in my 20s I felt like I had to go corporate America, so that's really like I went the corporate route And then later on is when I you know got into entrepreneurship which is which is fine, but do you feel like
- 22:54[SPEAKER_04]: Do you have like a college degree at all?
- 22:57[SPEAKER_04]: No, I never said a big toe in college.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: I have very like anti-social.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I just remember like y'all got to stay.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: Stay y'all everybody's sleeping in this room.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then if I want a little what what hey hey you got to be in the same room with me.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just that is just it right with me.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I just was not into it.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like you want me to sleep here go to school here go to basketball games here.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: I just I wasn't into it.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_00]: And so all this success without a degree never just a high school diploma high school to point me and I barely did that Or I allegedly paid off by teachers and stopped going to school in high school.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: Wow That's what you're realizing money.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: My people so why I found this cool fuck it is pay you.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know like I'm like You'll never get this was today's day
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: I was saying today's the 24th something like that you'll never get this day back and my mind always told me that I I can get money back.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'll never get today back in this time back.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so yeah, so you so you
- 23:58[SPEAKER_04]: appreciate time more than money.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: Way more than money.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_04]: This is because money comes and goes.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_04]: You can make it comes and goes.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_04]: But time.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_04]: Time is so valuable, so precious, you know?
- 24:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_04]: You can blink and we're grown.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we blink and now you're probably like dang.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:08[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 24:08[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 24:08[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 24:09[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:09[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: when I get this older, you know, you're a 18-year-old.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly, like, literally.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_04]: And so it's crazy because I remember you tell me, you tell me you had a two-year-old, and I'm like, I can remember my daughter being two.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_04]: And she's about the term 18, which is like, she's about to be a whole adult.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sick.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, she's not even going, like, she's going to be my baby to her, right?
- 24:36[SPEAKER_04]: Right, always your baby, always.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_04]: But how did motherhood change you, right?
- 24:41[SPEAKER_04]: Because like, yeah, yeah, talking a little bit about that.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: I never wanted to be a mom, but I've always raised kids.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: So my little brother, I was nine when he was born.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_00]: He was my kid.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like everyone was like, that's your baby because my mom worked so much.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: Then my aunt had seven kids.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who told her to do that.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I raised like all of those kids and then I have a goddaughter who'll be eight.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: So even seeing her, she's been whistin' she was two weeks old.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: So now that she's about to be eight, I'm like, I raised my kids.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: I worked my jobs.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm free.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I went free.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, you know, making seven figures a year.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: All this time and then at 29 years old, I'm like,
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: positive pregnancy sex.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like it wasn't worth it.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, like that moment that caused it wasn't even worth it, like dang.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so I was... What were you in a relationship or was it like a sneaky link?
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: It was, it was a little bit above.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a little bit of having fun.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: I just, you know, happened in Jamaica and I have not been back since.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: So let's just say I'm now.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm cool on Jamaica for a while.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_00]: Right, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure, for sure
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, wow, why would you say that I'm literally going with all girls, first of all?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, you know, I like me.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: No disrespect to anybody like, but I'm like, I'm like me.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: Why would I come back from a girl's trip, right?
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then somebody I was dealing with was like, I could just pull up.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like pull up.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: I thought they were lying.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the day that there's was pulled, they didn't pull up.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: The very next day, like, oh, I came and I'm like, oh, Lord.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, and then I came back pregnant.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_04]: So she called she called it right mama's nose nose mess both times.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_04]: So Do they do when they do when they they delivery might be off some time.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like I'm like why would you say something like that?
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: I went to what I had my child at 29 literally five days before my 30th birthday So my 30th birthday I was in the house and sat down.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_04]: Wow
- 26:43[SPEAKER_04]: And then when you think about, so I mean, you know, again, you thought, you thought, right, you raised all these kids that were not yours, but, you know, you raised them, you thought you were free, you now you have this baby, you still have your businesses, yes, of course, how does that, how does that how does becoming a mother effect.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_04]: you know you as an entrepreneur.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: I always say my business is saved my life.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: So even going back to when I was depressed, you know I started my business.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: My first like boutique culture shone is changed and that business saved my life because it gave me something to look forward to, right?
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: And even being a mom in the stuff that I went through with the co-parenting and the custody court and all these things my business is what saved my life and what kept me going.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_00]: I used to have to go a week without my child at three months old.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: She was ripped away from me basically and had to go across the state at three three months old, and I'm not known where she's at was going going And so the only thing I really had to fall back on besides God was my business, you know, and I'm not going like and that was because you're your daughter's father Wanted to tell you he wanted hell with me.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: Not the child.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: He wanted hell with me.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_03]: Okay
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: And so during that time, when I tell you I ran it up, I said, God, my pastor, she said, you're not raising your child.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: You have to let God raise your child.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_00]: And so I remember having a sleepest and I was like, I don't know where she's out in the state.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: She's in, I don't know to that.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: And no one's following parents and all these things.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember just being in a really dark place.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, okay, you know what, I could take this moment like a lot of people do
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: and drown, but I said, you know what, I don't have to swim, but just don't drown.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: And so my goal every single day was just not to drown in.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember we for off camera, we talked about you like you slowed down a little bit.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying not to drown.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: And so I was going through the trenches of it and I just remember guys said, okay, watch this.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: And when I said, I popped out.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: So David got the May back, popped out with this, popped out with that and it's just like, and I never was like down back because I like I told you I'm really good money management.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: So I've never like went without lifestyle, never had the change or anything like that.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: But when I told you I said, okay, we bought something, run it up, something vicious.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: My boy, nice, exactly what I was like, whoa, you know, God, like, whoa, I'm like, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 29:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you're somebody who, like you create money, right?
- 29:11[SPEAKER_04]: You're not, like what was that moment?
- 29:14[SPEAKER_04]: What was that moment that you realized that I'm a, like, I don't earn money.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not a hustle for money.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_04]: I just, I'm just a creator.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: I create money.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: I like that.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_00]: Create money.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_00]: I realized everything could be monetized.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: Every single thing is a business, and I look at things with a different perspective What made me realize that very early on?
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I remember my mom took me to the Janet Jackson concert back in a day and I remember this lady was next to me drunk She was like Janet I got all your albums all your just kidding was taught right and I remember she had on a Janet Jackson shirt Janet Jackson socks and jacks everything and so I remember looking at the crowd in Jennings.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: I thank you 18,000 people sold out some of mine.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's like 18,000 people
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: this girl got a jet ejection shirt that sucks.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm looking at everything like everything is money.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see seats and people are seeing money in the seats.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_00]: I seen VIP tickets.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: That's more money.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's more money.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm realizing so that whole day I had people like, okay, car, gas.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just realizing everything is money.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_00]: So if everything is money, everything can be monetized.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm like, I want to serve more people to make more money.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: And that's what may be realized.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: If I want more customers, if I want to make more money, I just need more customers at the ice cream shop, right?
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: If I want to make more money, how can I reach more people?
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that's just always been my goal.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: So now I think of money, okay, how many people do I reach?
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I reverse engineered, right?
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: So if I want to do $300,000 this month, okay, I need to do that, or divide that by the cost of my product.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I just always, okay, this month, let's try to go for $400,000.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: What do I need to, what's the price point?
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: What do I need to sell?
- 30:44[SPEAKER_00]: Or do I need to divide that between one business and the other business?
- 30:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_04]: When you think about like systems, right?
- 30:52[SPEAKER_04]: Cause you sound and feel like you're very methodical as it relates to business, you know, your numbers, you know, like you said, like you, you know, still still got money from the third grade, right?
- 31:08[SPEAKER_04]: How important is having like the right systems in business?
- 31:12[SPEAKER_00]: I really like to depend on my team for everything.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna lie.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: I would feed myself into my own food if it was up to me.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not gonna lie.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: I have a person for everything.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: So for me it's more about having people to hiring people to do what they're good at.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: So if I have someone that's good at tech, you set up all my systems, that that's one that's good at looking all in my flight hotels, they do that.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_00]: So the only thing I really do in my business is it's open, say, yes or no.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_00]: honest to God, that's really what I'm best at that.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: And if it's something that's costing too much money, then I put out the fire of, let's cut the cost and let's be, you know, double more efficient and cut the cost.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's really all I do.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: I honestly don't always think for myself, I'm not alive.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_04]: Because that works for you.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because I realize that such a early age, you could pay people to do stuff.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_04]: But so how do
- 32:06[SPEAKER_04]: people from taking advantage of you.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, that's a great question.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think I've ran into a lot of betrayal along this journey.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: I've had to lose business partners, close friends.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I run into that a lot.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: And my model is not necessarily cannot trust you, but cannot train you.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: And so I never put anything past anybody.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: I do believe anybody will cross me.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_00]: And people have done that several times.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_00]: coming out of a lot of situations where I've been crossed, but I also have three lawyers on retainer and I pay my lawyer fees before I pay my rent.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's lawyers are getting paid before I rent is getting paid before anything else.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_00]: But I really go through a lot of systems.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_00]: I spend more time managing people than my businesses.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_00]: So I spend more time with my team.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_00]: We meet Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and then my sales team we meet every day.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: So I just I went
- 33:00[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, talk a little bit about social media because I think a lot of people, you know, get it, get it wrong, right, when they, when they talk about monetization is not really just about followers is not about likes is about the stresses me out.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, talk a little bit about that.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_00]: I hate when I see people who just get online and they're creating so much content.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_00]: Because nowadays, everything is like quick, everybody wants quick, quick, quick, quick content.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: Back when we were kind of coming up, you can really sit down and post the whole interview and it's going to get washed.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's like people just want to quick sound bite, right?
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: So people would think, oh, I got some views that's going to go viral.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to make some money.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: What did you do to make money?
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of people think the content created programs.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm sure you're monetizing all these different platforms, but they don't pay the same way.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I have a heart.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to take people and shake them like you're literally cooking with your dog every day Why aren't you selling a product for that right or or had to tell people you think people are getting online to cook cuz it's fun You think they make in ham hog hog mock macron cheese Colleagues a cornbread yams because it's fun because you're about to buy their season in their cookbook.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to let people know this is little gesture marketing platform and you just have to sell something to go along with it, right?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: And if you can work for somebody else for nine hours a day or eight hours a day and think about the wake-up, the job, oh, I was tired, think about the wake-up, the getting to work, the lunch breaks, having to come back home in traffic, that's about 12 hours of your day, think you're depleted.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: You can get online through the same thing for two hours and just push a product.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: And people are too cool to push their product.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: People are too cool to say, click the link
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be pushy, babe, you have 325 followers.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: Who are you like push it?
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: Who are you?
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: What are you embarrassed of?
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: Who's going to say something?
- 34:39[SPEAKER_00]: One of the 325 people, or one of the 3,000 people who's going to say something?
- 34:43[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I think, because there's a point that you made that I want to just focus on in on, is that I think that
- 34:52[SPEAKER_04]: people are so used to asking for permission.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_04]: So that's why I said that earlier in in the bio is that you decided to not ask for permission.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: I always did obviously anyone told me to do that because I also looked at it like this, if 1% of the world is successful, right?
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Why would I follow the rest of the 99%.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if our moms grew up not rich and they work three jobs, why the hell would I do the same thing you did and expect the different outcome?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you work for three jobs, two jobs, and you didn't come back home with bread, why would I think I'm gonna do the same exact thing you do?
- 35:22[SPEAKER_00]: Take the same bus route, take the same job route, and come back with a different outcome.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: The system is broke.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I've always challenged everything.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: I was even in the version.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I've been I've been bad.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: I've been in diversion.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_00]: I did been all types of stuff.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember my My diversion teacher came in the room one day and he wrote on the board You were just a number.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about you So when it was time to go around and ask everybody what they did he's like, well, why are you in here?
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: Why did you you know why are you in the version?
- 35:46[SPEAKER_00]: And it was my time to talk.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, Miss Helm, and I stayed quiet.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, Miss Helm, Miss Helm, and I was like, if I'm just a number of you here for a paycheck, let me sit here and you get your money.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so at the very end, he was like, and I do care about before everybody walked out, like, I was there for like a week, and he was like, and by the way, I do care.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I know you do.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, you're going to be the next like president or something.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, you have something, and you, but you just have to control your anger.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just realized everything is just, I just realized the ego system of success early on and I challenged everything all the time.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and that's the beauty of it.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_04]: And I think that's what makes people successful because even when you talk about content creators, right?
- 36:29[SPEAKER_04]: Like a content creator would literally wake up every single day.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_04]: and just create content with the hopes that it goes viral, with the hopes that somebody picks it up with the hopes where it's like, no, like, like, you said, create a product of service, create something that you own, right?
- 36:47[SPEAKER_04]: Like, even me, when I first started my podcast, even before I had any numbers, I would throw a commercial in there.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_04]: I remember that.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_04]: And people would, like, people don't even understand.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_04]: I was a seven-figure podcaster.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_04]: Before I even get about numbers because guess what I had a value.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_04]: I call offers a service And so if I had somebody on here, I'm gonna throw my commercial in there We're gonna text me and that's where I'm gonna get my leads from like to go weren't using that from a marketing standpoint
- 37:20[SPEAKER_04]: today, 2026, where I mean, you, you like the queen of attention at some point because like I said, keep bond bond honesty.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_04]: I said, like, you kind of slow down a little bit.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: You say, you say, the best.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_00]: I've been back.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: I want to tell you I've been doing content days and I just left from Houston with my team for doing content days.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I want to kind of get into systems too because a lot of people think they have to have all these things worked out before they start making money.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I I've been doing seven figures a year since 2021 or something like that and I never had a text message at least I never had us to this day I don't have a text message like I never had any of those things so I think it's more so just understanding how much money you want to make what what that what that's going to look like like the product or
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: you know how how can you market it and then just sell it.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone thinks that's to be so perfect.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_00]: We're already the website first.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't have a website.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like still don't for real.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so you don't have to have every all these ducks in a row and all these different things.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: The same way you get up and do hair for a quick 50 dollars, you could take find the way to just do that online.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: You're a quick.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: not love that.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_04]: Talk a little bit about funding, right?
- 38:24[SPEAKER_04]: You help people with business funding.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_04]: What's the biggest lie entrepreneurs believe about getting capital and what do fundable businesses actually have in place?
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: So when I went to open my ice cream shop, I remember realizing I didn't have the money.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: I remember one of my family members was like, well, you can't do that.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: You know how the money was like, that's not what I asked you.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: I actually feel it's a good idea.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't ask you where the money was going to come from.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to realize the richest people borrow money, right?
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: So they tell us to cut up our credit cards to live debt free.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: The people who tell us to cut up our credit cards and live debt free are not debt free.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: They don't, they don't cut up their credit cards.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: They tell our people stop going out to eat and live below your means.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Below our means.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Meanwhile, you'll have a stake in caviar.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 39:02[SPEAKER_00]: So tell me what you did to get the stake in caviar.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: Don't tell me how I need to stay broke and stay stuck.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I always challenge that.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, what you doing?
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying like how you got how you got a whole camera crew like crew and team But you want me to eat at home and eat and eat porridge.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: You see them saying so always challenge us So I realized one day.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like everybody did not wake up rich You need to tell me all these restaurants all these gas stations all these you know stores Everybody just woke up and had the money to pay for a sign to pay for a store no, right?
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like there has to be a way to get money.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I remember when I did came to get an ice cream shop I remember just getting on Google like I
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: Um, how do I get ice from chocolate?
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: How do I get money for ice from chocolate?
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm broke.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: Is there a way to get money?
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I just cannot see anything.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: I remember going to library every day and every day.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: I told you I'm impulsive.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I like to figure things out.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: So it's to me about 14 days.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: No sleep to figure out.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I came across a world of microlinder at the library.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember taking that back to to home and to Google.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, okay, what is a microlinder, you know?
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm finding out there's actual programs for minorities and women.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because you need to feel sorry for anyone.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you poor black person.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let me feed into that.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: So let me be the poor black person and get this this money that you guys have.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: So it's almost like Section 8 before our business.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's almost like welfare before our business.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like a fun because they like, oh, you poor black person, you hear some money.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: Some like, okay, let me get the money then, you know,
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's what I found out about it.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember seeing something pop up I was trying to call out in a what I was doing.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: I was just trying to call like, hey, y'all, I'm trying to get money.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, the person you need to talk to was on lunch, call back the person you need to talk to was sick for two weeks.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: The person you talked to, so I'm never going on the website and I put in.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: their newsletter um and i remember getting a call or email saying that they were having an eight hour seminar so i went and said the eight hour hour seminar because i can now get you out on the phone i remember marching up to them i'm like hey i've been trying to get all of you all sit down the presentations and start sat there for eight hours at the very and i'm marched up to the CEO and i'm like hey i'm trying to get a hold of you guys for the last two weeks
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, oh, talk to someone, so I'm like, no, I've been trying to talk to them.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Notice you expect, but your company started to look bad, because these are not the reviews I've seen online.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: So he's like, what's going on?
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, I'm trying to get funding.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, here's my card.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: Meet me tomorrow at 7 a.m. if you're there at 7 a.m. when you're late, number one home.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: Who the next day when I tell you I was nervous I'm like what did I get myself it's I don't even know what I'm doing I just remember presenting a business plan and sitting down with him and like just like I just wrote my show back Like yeah, we're gonna create more jobs in the community.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna you know I'm just making everything sound good and he was like okay We'll get back to you.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't tell me if it was a good idea or now I was just like we're trying to open up ice cream shop
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I got a call later that day was like, hey, we talked to the community they love you guys.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: I need all these documents by end of day and you'll hear something going Friday.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: Friday came.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: We got the call.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_00]: We got to funding.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: I wrote around the house like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: When the excitement were off, I'm like, y'all don't even want y'all don't like money to give me money.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: Give all people for especially for a nice cream shop.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_00]: So long story short, we got open.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: We made six figures in 60 days.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: I get a call a year later.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, it's that time of year again.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what time of year?
- 41:58[SPEAKER_00]: And my investor was like, it's time for our annual seminar.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, we want you to speak.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't speak, you know, like I don't do public talking to you that he was like, no, no, no, we want you to be one of the main speakers at this time.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that's actually how I got it started getting on stages.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: So everything became full circle, you know.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I say, start your business and get funding, you know, you don't have a bad business, you just need money.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: Even if it's a bad business, what money is gonna work?
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: So you don't have a bad business, like Skim's borrow $271 million, and that's why it's worth $4 billion.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Walmart borrowed $2 billion or $64 billion.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the richest companies do not care that they're in debt.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: They borrow money over and over again, Fenty Beauty borrow $100 million, that's why they're worth $1 billion.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: So you don't have a bad business, you're just not putting enough money into it.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: And these programs are designed to give us money, and that's how I got started.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: And so this day, I don't do anything out of pocket.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, a lot of people who are online, they look successful, right?
- 42:58[SPEAKER_04]: But they don't own anything real.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_04]: What are the fake signals of success?
- 43:03[SPEAKER_04]: You think people need to stop chasing immediately?
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love this question.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you looked at me, you wouldn't think that I was well off.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because you know, I'm a girlfriend of Brasca.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about all the extra stuff.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Brasca.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: Brasca.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_00]: Born and raised.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a hundred Brasca, team but a day.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_04]: And then.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like, you have a lot of things.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: It was thinking about, but you know, a Gabrielle Unis from there too, Terrence Crawford is from there.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, we have some good people from there, but, what's your question again?
- 43:31[SPEAKER_04]: People, people who, oh, the status and look, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm just not into any of that stuff to be honest.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the only thing I wear that is designer is like a bag or shoe, and I don't care how much money I have, I have never bought a Chanel bag.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't, you know, I think a lot of people would rather spend their money and I know people who make 10,000 and they go spend 9,000 on their back and then they let $4,000 to get paid again.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like that.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_04]: When does that mentality come from you then?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like, no for real, I don't know what it is.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's ghetto, like, you don't gotta, you ought to have a Cuban link and your name.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: We know your name, baby.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_00]: You don't gotta have your name drip down from your neck.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: You don't gotta, especially if you don't have it like that.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: If you can't go buy three or four cars and I can and I still don't.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: I drive two cars and I'm cool with that.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna kinda call it, Bentley.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just like, maybe.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: I've been made back in a, in a GLC.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: So my, I have a mom car and then I have a made back.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: You know.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm about to get the GLC trading for like a limbo or like a G-wacking, but my vice is cars.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I do like cars.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: I always spend a lot of money on my cars in my home.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: Those two things as they say, it's like, okay, I see.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: But if you sing in the store, I'm probably in a hoodie from Walmart.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm probably in, like, you know, some quick loot.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe my shoes are designer, but I don't just go crazy because I'm not into just a whole bunch of stuff.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I'm not very materialistic.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, if I see you pushing a $20,000 outfit, but you in coach, it's kind of like, are you really getting the full experience?
- 44:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying?
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm always probably in first class and I probably real tone down, but I don't, I rather you have real things than just look like you have it.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I can't, I'm so tired of y'all buying chains and your teeth is not straight.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think stop seeking validation, you know, I don't care who I'm in the room next to.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need to look and I don't need you to think that I have money for you to know I have money for you.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_00]: Is that the day I know how I live, you know, and I think the biggest thing is just stop seeking external validation, you know, everything like you need, like I said, is what thing you, if you lose yourself, you lose it all.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's my biggest motto.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, know who you are, know that you're working for towards something, it's okay.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't have it right now to go by, um,
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: a bag.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Don't go by the bag.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: And, and too, I'm not with all the fake stuff that people mind from like, China and all that too.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that the go get you a bag from Zara.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same stuff for a good two bag on Amazon and still be cute.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to spend money to look like, you know, you have it.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_00]: And even when you do have it, you still don't got to go crazy because we're in Preston.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's in it today.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_04]: Sure, sure, because I think it's too far.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_04]: I think a lot of times.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_04]: I know for me.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not never really care because I was going to say, but for me, before I had money, I wanted to act like I had money.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_04]: But they want I got money.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want nobody.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_04]: I know I got money.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: I will say I do have a tradition, so my daughter every six months, I buy her a new bag, a little designer bag.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: I design a bag.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's six months.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_00]: She got like three.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_04]: So every six months.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_04]: She'll be two.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: She'll be two.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: So she didn't know for a birthday.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I do that.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: But it's not like I don't drop like 20 bands on a bag or 15 bands.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_00]: She gets one that's like 2,000 in under.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_04]: Every six months.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_04]: Talk a little bit about the, I'm building my brain, right?
- 47:01[SPEAKER_04]: Do you think some people hide behind that phrase because they're afraid to sell?
- 47:05[SPEAKER_04]: Like what's your, what's your, what's your take on that?
- 47:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think, um, I think we are consumers, right?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: And we spend more time consuming than producing.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_00]: So if we realize in the black community, we spend the most money.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: So we obviously have the money.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: We're just spending it wrong.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: So all the, oh, I'm still working towards building my brain.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people want to talk in vision board because it makes them feel like they're doing something.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm still working on this.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: Or every time you see my Christians, you know, I'm about to launch this, or you know, I'm still working on that.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're not like, stop dreaming and stop talking and just do.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: And so when people say that it's nothing more than excuses, a lot of us feel stuck or they're scared, or they say they're afraid of failure.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, you were afraid of success.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of us are afraid of success.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: because we understand that we're this close to actually doing something that can work and everybody's going to get you different.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: Your life style is going to change or you know, the crab and the bucket mentality.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of people are just afraid of success.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not about failure.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you were afraid of failure, the worst place that you are in is where you're at right now.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that's so, and you can only end up right there.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_04]: The worst of all you said, if you're afraid of failure, the worst place you're in is where you are right now.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the worst they can get literally that's a bar you so you're going on tour going on tour talking to me about that yes 11 states three months we're also going to the UK and Toronto but we're hitting the roads we're bringing you guys real workshops How to make money online?
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: How to get funding for your business?
- 48:27[SPEAKER_00]: The only thing you need in business is funding in marketing You know that you probably didn't need the funding because you know he go way back
- 48:33[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, you got the marketing downpacks too, so that's what you only think you need in business is exposure in money to match that.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to bring to 11 states the workshops of how to make money online, how to get funding, and I'm also launching a skincare brand as well.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_03]: So, so I'm going to talk to you about the skincare brand.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so one of my biggest fears when you're coming to mom was just losing myself, you know, because I was very self-centered like ask my mom, I'm very self-centered like I love me so much I can spend so much time with myself and so I didn't want to lose myself becoming a mom and so my skincare brand is about like I didn't want to stretch marks.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't want to saggy skin, you know, I kind of, you know, invest in my body, you know, a little bit.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so I didn't want to revert you know so I was like what can I do to really you know make sure I look like I didn't have a kid as soon as she soon as she gets here and so I developed a skincare brand called mommy's it stands for putting the me back in mommy so it's about putting yourself first so that way you can pour into your children and
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: and not poor from empty cup.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: And so with skin care, it's, excuse me, it is stretch marks, cream, dark spots, and then hydration to just repair the skin and to pull back the skin's elasticity before and after baby.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: So, and it's really gentle.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: I've been developing this in the lab for over two years now.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm excited, tour, and the skincare line is what I have.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_04]: That's sort of, sort of, tour 11 states.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_04]: What made you, what made you say, hey, do you know what's happening on tour?
- 49:55[SPEAKER_04]: And so, is it, is it you by itself?
- 49:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's me and my friend, Jalen, like my fashion today, this is birthday too, so I've birthday.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: But you know how you said I've been kind of quiet?
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know how you speak on road?
- 50:04[SPEAKER_00]: I used to always be in tours, I used to always be in person.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, it's time to get back out there.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I still have a big presence.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be more so on TikTok, more than Instagram, with like lives and things like that.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm like, it's time to get back in the field.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: And every time I go to my people like to try to, you know, you help me in some way, shape or form.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I just, I'm just here to see more of our people win.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_04]: You know?
- 50:23[SPEAKER_04]: not for sure for sure.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_04]: So 11 states, real work shops, teaching them some things.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: Real work shop and we just did one in Atlanta and it was, it was crazy.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_00]: Like we help people, one of my mentees just starting.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_00]: She's the one 12K one with no followers and she's getting on live with maybe 15 people and closing $1700 per life.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_04]: Give me, give me some sauce, how was she doing that?
- 50:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what's the, what's the, so anybody that wants to make money online right now?
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is what you do.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever product that is you decide to sell, it could be a service, people get so confused.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I have a service, not a product, that's your product.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_00]: You have a service, it's a product.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: So you, you talk about that day and a day out, maybe 12 times, pieces, 12, 13 pieces of content.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: Every day, every single day, for like 12, 13 times a day.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_00]: And people are gonna start looking at you as an expert, right?
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: It takes the human mind to see something seven times before it relies, it's, oh wow, this is a thing.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm going to look at you.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay, you do credit.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm going to look at you to help me with repair my credit.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: The more you EEC entertain educate convert the more you entertain me.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be looking at you then you're going to educate me because you're going to tell me something about this field and then you're going to convert then that's where you could do your hard selling did you know have a class did you know I have this product for sale, right?
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: So E entertain E entertain C convert.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then you're e-intertain educate comer and from there, you're going to start directing people to link your buyer Start directing them to book a call, direct them to you know buy your products and that's all you have to do and you just repeat those steps over and over and over again Do eyes means new money.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: And that's all.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's really that simple nice
- 51:51[SPEAKER_00]: But 12 to 13 pieces of content right and that's it's so simple now now people just want to see some for eight seconds like you can literally Pan a room and just take that like three ways that I six my credit and then in the caption it could just be like 12 or three steps, you know Yeah, I love it if you could take Young Trishana and because you're still young, right, but
- 52:15[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_04]: I think I'm a upstill young and I'm in my 40s.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: So you can be some look for it too.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because I'm about to be 32 of my woof.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you're amazing.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 52:26[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, good.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_04]: Because you got to think about it, right?
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: Like...
- 52:30[SPEAKER_04]: Especially if you take care of yourself like the life expectancy is up now, like you could live to like 80 90 So you're not even you like a 30 a lot.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, my grandmother passed in 93 right.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_04]: So you still got like God's will you got 60 plus Yeah, okay, like if you don't say God's will but like
- 52:50[SPEAKER_04]: That's a baby still.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_04]: I love it as you like, you know what?
- 52:54[SPEAKER_04]: You'll just get started young, but like, I appreciate that.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_04]: No, but not even young, but like I'm just saying because I'm just saying like, which is why.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_04]: It's so remarkable.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, back in the day though, think about it.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: Back in the day, when Ferrari was like 36, you're like, oh, you young.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_00]: Nowadays, the Gen Z, we, Uncle, like people will be like, you know what I'm saying?
- 53:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's, that's young people who like, they dumb.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_04]: I know, I know that.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm trying to say?
- 53:19[SPEAKER_04]: So it's young.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: I was made across.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see you at 28.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't like, dad.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_04]: So I say like that, that's, you don't mean no disrespect to nobody young, but they not intelligent.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like you said, like I was an adult by 17, like I was not sure.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_04]: Same.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I'm saying?
- 53:38[SPEAKER_04]: And so the conversations I was having at 17 to now, if I talked to a 17 year old, I'm like embarrassed sometimes.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, how
- 53:47[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, again, I don't mean it that way because, you know, I got my daughter, but again, we were intentional about my daughter, like my daughter is a genius, my son is 10 years old.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: Were they any, was your daughter anything like you, like kind of living early, kind of party, and all that?
- 54:06[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, no, she, like,
- 54:09[SPEAKER_04]: opposite, you know what I'm saying because I'm worried about that much.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_04]: I was going to say, oh, no, but the thing is, I think that, you know, I think my wife and I have done a great job of showing our daughter that we with the shit, though, but we, where we come from, so she know we not, you know, like we was outside.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: I know because on this podcast, out of being,
- 54:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm working on it though, but I've been working on it, so I've been cutting like a sailor, but I've been really working on it.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's good.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_04]: We had a great awesome conversation, so, you know, we proud.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we did good.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_04]: You did good.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_04]: But no, but like, so, but you know, we made sure, like my, you know, my kids went to private school.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_04]: We don't shelter them at all.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_04]: I went to private school for a bit.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we don't, we don't shelter them at all.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_04]: But at the same time, like they're articulate their smart, you know, like, cause I feel like there's like a kid shouldn't repeat the same struggle.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_04]: I think my daughter's gonna struggle in some way, but she's not gonna struggle with money.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: I just felt like, yeah, my child came to me and told me that she was kind of parting early.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't be mad.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know?
- 55:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, I would.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not just like that.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think I would be mad.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_04]: But it depends on what you're doing there, but I don't know because because for me the way I look at it is that my daughter and my son All my biggest investments and Get whatever you need out of your system, but at least supervise You know, it's like you're not gonna make you know like I was I was smoking weed and drinking at 12 like I'm saying and so
- 55:45[SPEAKER_04]: No, you're not doing that and I'm saying like you're going to make your own mistakes or whatever But you're not going to make the ones I made you know I'm saying and I'm a BDF for you like I'm not going to be mad But yeah, I'm still I'm still gonna I'm still gonna yeah, I'm still gonna be there.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna be there Yeah, but but
- 56:01[SPEAKER_04]: Take me back, right?
- 56:02[SPEAKER_04]: So young, 18-year-old Trashana, where you are right now, still young, but 31-year-old Trashana, if you could speak to 18-year-old Trashana, what are you telling her?
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: What advice are you giving her?
- 56:17[SPEAKER_00]: Um, if I could tell myself anything like going back, I would just tell myself, keep going, you're going to do amazing and you'll be proud.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't change anything.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_04]: I wouldn't change anything.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: I would do.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: And I went through some things like,
- 56:33[SPEAKER_00]: we didn't get into the meat of all that, but I will say in 19, I played a little bit more like I started business and then I played it until I was like 24.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_00]: And if I could go back, I would say myself like that four-year gap that I took was necessary either.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but everything that I did was right on time and I'm very proud and honored to be the person that I am today.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_04]: Not for sure.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_04]: Again, like I said, like I think to have built a multiple seven figure business in your 20s and now you're in your 30.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_04]: You're just starting.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_04]: I think that there is and I love that you're going on tour because.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_04]: There needs to be more representation.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_04]: There needs to be more young people showing other people, not just young people, but just showing other people what's possible.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: But I too, I really am a little different, right?
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: So my mind said is, you know, people like, how do you balance in all of that?
- 57:25[SPEAKER_00]: How do you, I don't, you know what I'm saying?
- 57:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I eat read and sleep my career.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, a lot of people want to come home after work.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_00]: Their shoes off and drink a glass of wine and have hookah.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't do that.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't watch TV.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, people like, oh, you, you love a miserable life, baby.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_00]: I'm having a wall.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I'm saying, but I also can pick up and do whatever I want as I please, but I enjoy working, and everyone is obsessed with something the same way atleast, and I really am in support because I love the dog mentality that they have, you know, like I tell myself all the time, you know, with the fourth quarter.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_00]: Ten seconds up on the clock.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: The score is tied and my going to let you win or my going to come back I'm gonna shoot this three and I'm gonna make you know like that's how I look at life and that's how I look So that's how I look at adversity.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's how I look at everything.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna fold and be like okay here You could just take a you just make the game when it maybe pass me a ball.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_00]: You said I'm saying like that's how I talk to myself And I grew up with like you know brothers and I've always been very competitive.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm I'm very like my backs of the wall and baby All I got is me.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know I'm saying like I'm the shoppers play on the team
- 58:24[SPEAKER_00]: And so I put myself in positions to win.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_00]: I study other winners, and I want to be just like that.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember watching King Richard, the Venus of Serenium movie.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: Remember they, I remember that movie very clearly.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: I was in New York and I had my clothing brand at the time, and it was going to be my walk, the New York fashion, and it was like anything I'd done I've always done something big.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_00]: And remember watching the movie and I was like,
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: What do I want to be known for?
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: Because that's what the movie was about.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like they were the greatest tennis player, Steph Curry's advice, three points shooter, like what do I want to be known for?
- 58:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, I want to be the world's greatest leader of my time.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so there's Oprah, but there's not necessarily somebody that's younger in that space.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_00]: And so my mindset is what would the greatest leader be doing?
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: Would the greatest leader be resting right now?
- 59:08[SPEAKER_00]: Would the freedom I have for greatest leader be sad and depressed?
- 59:11[SPEAKER_00]: And everybody wants to be a boss, but nobody wants to be a great leader.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_00]: You know?
- 59:14[SPEAKER_00]: And to be a great leader, you have to lead yourself, you know, to lead yourself through adversity, lead yourself through happiness, sadness, dark time.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: So even at my darkest times, I'm like, just trying to get up, or this is where you're going to be.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I talk to myself like that over and over and over again.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't get up right now, you'll have no customers that you're ice from shop.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't, I'll I'll set a time on my phone for seven minutes.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_00]: You have seven minutes to stop crying and shake it off.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_00]: Even with my child, even when I didn't know my child was, you have seven minutes to get up and figure it out, and I just keep going in that mentality.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_04]: Powerful being.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate you.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_04]: Was there no the, the, I shouldn't tell you to own it?
- 59:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, make sense, rolled ice cream.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_00]: I actually have six, six over six hundred people waiting to franchise.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: So we might take that on this year franchising.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: have FDD and everything done completely.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we did a part.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_04]: So because I can keep talking to you over and over this thing about like, you know, your powerful big thing is there anything that I did not ask that you like not got to tell your audience this.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_00]: Um, no, I just, I really just want, if I could just take people and shake them and make them realize, babe, nobody is better than you.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_00]: Your boss is not better than you.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_00]: That job is not better than you.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody is better than you.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you're not better than anybody else.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_00]: We're all eye level.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_00]: And the more we put people on the pedestal, the more we put things on the pedestal.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: we're making it harder to reach, but if you look at that thing, I level and realize they're right here, everything is I level, your money, your success, your boss is everybody's I level, it's so much easier to just reach out and take it, but if I put it on a pedestal it's going to get too high up and I can never reach it, and I just want people to take that away.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_02]: Man.
