- 0:03Speaker 1: It's me, Heather McDonald.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Let's get into it. There you go.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 0:22Speaker 2: You just got a snippet.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Of my new song.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I am a published pop star singer.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Thank you to Drew Lewis, the incredible music producer, son
- 0:55Speaker 1: of a dedicated Juicy Scooper Patreon member mom, who heard
- 1:00Speaker 1: me say on a show a couple months ago that
- 1:03Speaker 1: I wanted to have a hit pop song like so
- 1:06Speaker 1: many housewives before me have paved the way. And I
- 1:11Speaker 1: am a singer. And so this is my real voice.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I really went in the studio. I really sang it.
- 1:16Speaker 1: We wrote it together.
- 1:17Speaker 2: We worked on it. We changed verses around.
- 1:20Speaker 1: And the song is now available for you to listen
- 1:23Speaker 1: to at all the platforms. Please download it.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Please share it.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Let's become the first podcasting comedian, mother of three, funny
- 1:33Speaker 1: delight that has a hit single up there.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Let's do it. I really would appreciate that.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And I'm so excited. So let's get into it. We
- 1:44Speaker 1: have a great show. Okay.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Wow.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I mean, this is a story I've talked about for
- 2:17Speaker 1: a while, and I find it so juicy, and it's
- 2:20Speaker 1: what we like to talk about, relationships, marriages, divorces, and affairs,
- 2:23Speaker 1: and it's all rolled into this one breaking news story.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Andrew Hsu and Marilee Flebig, you're like, who are they, Heather? Well,
- 2:33Speaker 1: they are the exes of TJ Holmes and Amy Robach.
- 2:39Speaker 1: TJ and Amy Robach work together in TV. They had
- 2:44Speaker 1: an affair. They were each married to those other people,
- 2:49Speaker 1: Amy to Andrew Shue and TJ was married to Marilee.
- 2:55Speaker 1: They had an affair. I can't remember what show they
- 2:58Speaker 1: were on. I think it was the Today Show. They
- 3:00Speaker 1: found out about it and they were both fired. They
- 3:04Speaker 1: broke up and stayed together. They, of course, started their
- 3:09Speaker 1: own podcast. I assume it's still going on. And a
- 3:13Speaker 1: lot of the podcast was them talking about their relationship
- 3:16Speaker 1: and making it better. And I was like, oh my God,
- 3:19Speaker 1: is this going to last? I mean, if there's one
- 3:21Speaker 1: way to break up, it's to have a podcast together.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But it seems to have worked out. They just celebrated
- 3:27Speaker 1: their nuptials. They're officially married. And today, the New York
- 3:31Speaker 1: Post says, breaking news, that Andrew Hsu and Marilee, the
- 3:36Speaker 1: exes of each, announced their engagement.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I mean.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It's kind of amazing.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It might be the ultimate wife swap. It's great for
- 3:49Speaker 1: all the kids involved because all your parents are in
- 3:54Speaker 1: the same room. Like it's not some weird chick or
- 3:57Speaker 1: some weird guy coming in. Um, maybe it's the most
- 4:01Speaker 1: lovely situation. I don't know if the exes were there
- 4:03Speaker 1: for the wedding. I'm assuming all their kids were there.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I believe both sets have kids together. And I also
- 4:10Speaker 1: want to say that there might be some stepkids between
- 4:14Speaker 1: Andrew Hsu and Amy, and I'm not.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Totally sure on that. But it's fascinating. Good for them.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Glad it all worked out. Glad there's no hard feelings.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And that everybody's happier with their new spouse. And, you know,
- 4:30Speaker 1: if they all become friends and somebody's having trouble, maybe
- 4:34Speaker 1: Amy can go over to Mary Lou and be like,
- 4:37Speaker 1: hey girl, what do I do when TJ starts doing
- 4:40Speaker 1: this shit? And she'll go, girl, he started doing that
- 4:43Speaker 1: around year six when we were together. And this is
- 4:46Speaker 1: what I wish I would have done on year six.
- 4:48Speaker 1: And you're on year six now. So this is what
- 4:51Speaker 1: you should do. I mean, just think about it.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You have like a blueprint. You have a history to
- 4:55Speaker 2: go to.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And if you're all friendly, you really might have fabulous
- 4:59Speaker 1: second marriages with this scenario. So I'm all about the positivity.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Let's all be lovely families together.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Love it.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Another classic story of this was Shania Twain and her husband,
- 5:12Speaker 1: looks like we made it.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And then they didn't make it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: And then her best friend who was kind of working
- 5:18Speaker 1: for her, she found out that he was seeing her.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And so then she got divorced from her original husband of,
- 5:27Speaker 1: looks like we made it.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And you didn't. And then she got with that girl's husband.
- 5:33Speaker 2: And you know what?
- 5:34Speaker 1: I can only do so much research. I don't know
- 5:36Speaker 1: if they're still together. Drake, Can you look up if
- 5:38Speaker 1: Shania Twain is still with her ex-best friend's husband who
- 5:44Speaker 1: her husband cheated with?
- 5:45Speaker 2: It's a lot to figure out.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Anyway, and right now in the real housewives world, we're
- 5:53Speaker 1: dealing with this with Kim Zolciak-Bierman. Kim Zolciak-Bierman is seeing
- 6:00Speaker 1: a guy whose ex-wife.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Is seeing Croy.
- 6:05Speaker 1: They're all dating together. And yes, looks like they made it.
- 6:13Speaker 1: My husband cheated with my best friend. I went to
- 6:17Speaker 1: you and cried about it.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You wiped my tears and we clist, clist, kissed. Now
- 6:25Speaker 2: that it's been years.
- 6:27Speaker 1: People like TJ Holmes and Amy Roebuck and Andrew.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Hsu and Marilee are copying our love parody. All of
- 6:40Speaker 2: this is improv, you guys.
- 6:41Speaker 1: There's only so many people that can do this in
- 6:42Speaker 1: this medium.
- 6:43Speaker 2: And it's your girl, Heather MacDonald. Good for them. Happy, happy, happy.
- 6:48Speaker 1: A lot of people say I should be Shania Twain
- 6:50Speaker 1: for Halloween. I just feel her look has changed so much.
- 6:54Speaker 1: She's gone from like brown hair to long blonde to
- 6:56Speaker 1: like a couple different facelifts.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Still beautiful.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I still love myself in a cowboy hat. So that's
- 7:02Speaker 1: always a great look to go for. Lisa Barlow and
- 7:04Speaker 1: Kyle did it when they didn't want to dress up
- 7:07Speaker 1: too much. It's a lazy costume. It's a flattering costume.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Go be a cowgirl or a cat this Halloween. Okay,
- 7:13Speaker 1: getting back to Kim and Corey, we know all the
- 7:17Speaker 1: trauma that's going on with their son. I don't have
- 7:20Speaker 1: an update on any of that, but this came out
- 7:24Speaker 1: that in their divorce proceedings, which they are not officially divorced, yes,
- 7:28Speaker 1: Corey and Kim, they both blame each other for getting
- 7:32Speaker 1: themselves in a horrible financial place.
- 7:34Speaker 2: If you looked at the old.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Episodes of the show, they were so about spending She spent,
- 7:40Speaker 1: the wigs were apparently 7,000 and she'd wear them once
- 7:42Speaker 1: and throw them away. I couldn't believe it. They built
- 7:44Speaker 1: a whole glam room where there'd just be wigs everywhere.
- 7:47Speaker 1: They always had label-y clothes and fancy furniture. And you
- 7:51Speaker 1: were like, how much does this football player make? Well,
- 7:55Speaker 1: we also saw her gambling. We also heard he also
- 7:58Speaker 1: liked to gamble. But like, if you watch the RV
- 8:00Speaker 1: show when it was like, tardy for the party, get
- 8:03Speaker 1: on the RV. she'd be like, cry, cry, cry, cry.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I gotta go.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Just let me go into the, let me just go
- 8:08Speaker 1: in this Indian casino, this Indian casino casino for like
- 8:11Speaker 1: one minute, please, please. And so he is putting it
- 8:16Speaker 1: out there in his divorce proceedings. And if this has
- 8:18Speaker 1: been made public, I guess. Um, but they, he said
- 8:23Speaker 1: throughout the marriage that she has spent $ 1. 5 million in gambling.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I guess that she didn't get back. So she wasn't
- 8:30Speaker 1: a lucky gambler. Uh, There's unpaid back taxes and interest
- 8:34Speaker 1: and penalties to the IRS.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It is 1.1 million.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Luxury store shopping, 600,000 at Sac Chanel Versace between 2016
- 8:44Speaker 1: and 2023. I'm going to say I don't think that's
- 8:46Speaker 1: that much. I honestly don't. Like that's a lot of years.
- 8:51Speaker 1: That's seven years. So that's like less than $ 100, 000 a
- 8:56Speaker 1: year on like clothes and everything. And she did have
- 8:58Speaker 1: six kids. So I don't know if that means it
- 9:00Speaker 1: was only for her. If it's only for her, it's
- 9:02Speaker 1: still extravagant, but okay. Bahamas gambling trip. They like to
- 9:07Speaker 1: go to the Bahamas. And on one trip, which she
- 9:12Speaker 1: admitted to Kim, she lost 250,000 gambling in the Bahamas.
- 9:17Speaker 1: The Bahamas is kind of a fun place to gamble.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Not that I have, but I know they have a
- 9:21Speaker 1: lot of fancy casinos. That's where Atlantis is, which I
- 9:24Speaker 1: performed out many years ago. I loved going down the
- 9:27Speaker 1: water slide and I would like to go back. Okay.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Okay. American Express, $ 215, 000.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Bitcoin and lottery fund from 2021 was $ 161, 000 that was
- 9:36Speaker 1: lost in that. Secondary IRS tax lien was $ 163, 000. Another
- 9:38Speaker 1: 2022 Bitcoin and lottery fund was, this was also tracked
- 9:42Speaker 1: in the divorce financial.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Records, $ 65, 966.
- 9:44Speaker 2: So it's basically, let's round it up to $ 66, 000.
- 9:50Speaker 1: And lottery fund was, this was also tracked in the
- 9:53Speaker 1: divorce financial records.
- 9:56Speaker 2: $ 65, 966.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So it's basically, let's round it up to 66 and
- 10:01Speaker 1: Target credit card debt from Target. I mean, $ 2, 000, but
- 10:04Speaker 1: I guess Target came after them. So I'm just saying
- 10:10Speaker 1: now in their case, they also are blaming each other
- 10:14Speaker 1: for being an awful parent. And she has also gone
- 10:16Speaker 1: on record, Kim, to say about Croy with cameras, you know,
- 10:21Speaker 1: some of the paparazzi was there, with her new boyfriend
- 10:23Speaker 1: standing next to her saying, I wouldn't want my daughters
- 10:27Speaker 1: around Croy. I believe he has daughters with his wife, ex-wife,
- 10:32Speaker 1: who is dating Croy. So she was sort of slinging
- 10:36Speaker 1: shade like Croy shouldn't be trusted around the daughters. And
- 10:41Speaker 1: that was before we were made aware of all the
- 10:44Speaker 1: problems with their son, KJ Jr., So this is not
- 10:48Speaker 1: a foursome that I'm for. This is something that I
- 10:52Speaker 1: think if I was friends with either any of these people,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I would say, I don't think this partner is who
- 10:59Speaker 1: you should be with. That's, I would just be like,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I would break free of this whole thing. I try
- 11:04Speaker 1: to be a great single parent. I get my finances together.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'd be taking care of my kid. I wouldn't be
- 11:08Speaker 1: dating anybody, but we all know she is never alone. And,
- 11:13Speaker 1: but I think it's a mess. And if I was
- 11:16Speaker 1: like a sister or a grandparent or something to the
- 11:20Speaker 1: family that is now dating each of the Bermans, I
- 11:23Speaker 1: would be like, are you fucking kidding me? Can you
- 11:25Speaker 1: find a new boyfriend or a new girlfriend?
- 11:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Jay-Z, he decides who performs at the Super Bowl. And
- 11:35Speaker 1: TMZ said Jay-Z chose himself to be the 2027 Super
- 11:39Speaker 1: Bowl halftime show performer.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I love Jay-Z music.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I know there's a lot of controversy and conspiracy theories
- 11:47Speaker 1: and shitty stories about Jay-Z from the elevator fight with
- 11:51Speaker 1: Beyonce and her sister to a lot of other things.
- 11:55Speaker 1: But the guy has great music. And when you're watching
- 11:59Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, which will be in LA, you want
- 12:03Speaker 1: the best tunes. My favorite Super Bowl was when it
- 12:06Speaker 1: was Snoop Dogg and Dr.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Dre.
- 12:09Speaker 1: And I think this will just be a great show.
- 12:13Speaker 1: And there's a good chance Beyonce might make an appearance.
- 12:18Speaker 1: So I think it'll be a fabulous show. And because
- 12:20Speaker 1: it's in LA and I'm an LA girl, I'm just
- 12:23Speaker 1: about the entertainment. And I don't think there's anything wrong
- 12:25Speaker 1: with choosing yourself. Let me tell you a little quick
- 12:28Speaker 1: story about voting for yourself and why it's not the
- 12:32Speaker 1: worst idea. In my Catholic school, there was a May procession.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And everyone said, they said, vote for who you think
- 12:40Speaker 1: should be Mary. And all the people that don't get
- 12:44Speaker 1: to be Mary and have a few votes will get
- 12:45Speaker 1: to be like the bridesmaids of Mary.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And you could walk around the school and do the rosary,
- 12:51Speaker 1: but kind of be like a bridesmaid. And so I
- 12:55Speaker 1: told all my good friends, cause everyone was like, well,
- 12:57Speaker 1: let's vote for Marla. Cause she really is like the nicest, holiest,
- 13:01Speaker 1: smartest person. And I'm like, look, enough people are going
- 13:04Speaker 1: to vote for Marla. She's going to be Mary, but
- 13:08Speaker 1: don't you want to be one of like the bridesmaids
- 13:10Speaker 1: that get to walk around? So we all voted for ourselves.
- 13:15Speaker 1: And then the teacher was going through and counting them.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And she was like, wow, I've never, and it was
- 13:20Speaker 1: on the chalkboard. It was like, Heather McDonald won. And
- 13:26Speaker 1: I didn't get to be one of them because I
- 13:27Speaker 1: only voted for myself. And my other friends, they got
- 13:30Speaker 1: behind my back and said, listen, do you want it
- 13:33Speaker 1: the most? Because like if three of us vote for you,
- 13:35Speaker 1: then you get to be one of the bridesmaids. So
- 13:37Speaker 1: a couple of my friends or maybe some of the
- 13:38Speaker 1: guys voted for them. I can't remember if the guys
- 13:41Speaker 1: voted or not.
- 13:41Speaker 2: They probably did.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Anyway, nothing wrong with voting for yourself. So Jay-Z there,
- 13:48Speaker 1: go at it. Sleep is so important because you spend
- 13:52Speaker 1: a third of your life in your bed. And you
- 13:54Speaker 1: better hope that it's the best time ever. And one
- 13:56Speaker 1: way to do that is to get bowl and branch.

- 17:12Speaker 1: know it was Juicy Scoop and that Heather McDonald sent you.
- 17:16Speaker 1: It's the best way to support Juicy Scoop. We talked
- 17:19Speaker 1: a little bit about Kylie Jenner wearing the $ 50 million
- 17:22Speaker 1: bra in Victoria's Secret. And some people are commenting again
- 17:27Speaker 1: on why aren't there real supermodels in the Victoria's Secret
- 17:32Speaker 1: fashion show anymore and what it means and the person
- 17:35Speaker 1: that walks out in The bra at the end is
- 17:39Speaker 1: really supposed to be the creme de la creme. And
- 17:41Speaker 1: there's stories that there was some other model that was
- 17:44Speaker 1: being fitted for the bra. And at the last minute,
- 17:46Speaker 1: they're like, we got Kylie. And they're like, get her
- 17:48Speaker 1: out there.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And they're like, why? And also, why was.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The bra $ 50 million? And then she wore like a
- 17:52Speaker 1: Timu skirt for $ 1. 99 under it. I think that was
- 17:56Speaker 1: the last minute choice where she just decided, you know what?
- 17:58Speaker 1: I'm not totally comfortable walking around in just a G-string.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And then they threw that on at the last minute.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That's personally what I think.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I think she looked great.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of history to their family
- 18:08Speaker 1: and Victoria's Secret. Victoria's Secret is, you know, not doing
- 18:14Speaker 1: great and did fall off the way. They stopped doing
- 18:17Speaker 1: the fashion shows and all. So to bring it back,
- 18:19Speaker 1: we need to have as many eyes on it as possible.
- 18:21Speaker 1: We need as many people.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Talking about it as possible.
- 18:24Speaker 1: If some gorgeous model was wearing this bra that was
- 18:29Speaker 1: like Czechoslovakian or something, and we didn't know who she was,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but she really is the most perfect specimen specimen.
- 18:34Speaker 2: We wouldn't be talking about Victoria's Secret.
- 18:37Speaker 1: And Kylie looked great. And she, her sister, Kendall, was
- 18:42Speaker 1: a Victoria's Secret model and wanted to be. And if
- 18:44Speaker 1: you watch the old episodes of Kardashian, she wanted to
- 18:48Speaker 1: try to model too.
- 18:49Speaker 2: And back then they weren't as famous.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And it wasn't happening because Kylie wasn't as tall, doesn't
- 18:55Speaker 1: have that classic model body. And the reason models are
- 18:59Speaker 1: originally the classic model body, thin and tall, is because
- 19:03Speaker 1: the fashion designers found that their clothes look the best
- 19:07Speaker 1: on thin, tall people. Not overly tall, not 6'2, 5'10.
- 19:14Speaker 1: That's what their samples look the best on. And you
- 19:17Speaker 1: look at someone walking down and the trousers hang just
- 19:20Speaker 1: right and the shoulders are just right. And you go, wow,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I want to buy that. You don't realize that you're
- 19:27Speaker 1: 5'4 and, you know, not thin. And it probably won't
- 19:30Speaker 1: look like that on you, but it makes you want
- 19:32Speaker 1: to look at it and try it on and buy it.
- 19:34Speaker 2: That is why.
- 19:35Speaker 1: However, the world has changed and the business has changed
- 19:39Speaker 1: and we need influencers to sell our shit.
- 19:42Speaker 2: And that's just the truth.
- 19:43Speaker 1: But my girl, Adrienne Curry, who was on Juicy Scoop,
- 19:47Speaker 1: she's very outspoken. She was the main person from America's
- 19:51Speaker 1: Top Model. She came from nothing. She became a model
- 19:55Speaker 1: because of that show. She was on many other reality
- 19:58Speaker 1: shows since that. She lives in Montana and she's really
- 20:01Speaker 1: great on social media. And she speaks the truth. And
- 20:04Speaker 1: oftentimes it's controversial in this day and age or It's
- 20:07Speaker 1: not totally politically correct. And so she talked about this
- 20:11Speaker 1: and TMZ and all these people picked it up. And
- 20:14Speaker 1: this morning she, in the dark, she must've like woke
- 20:16Speaker 1: up and was like, I'm pissed. I'm going to talk
- 20:18Speaker 1: more about it. And she basically just said, look, I
- 20:22Speaker 1: couldn't have been a Victoria's Secret model. I was not
- 20:25Speaker 1: at that level. And why is it that everybody has
- 20:28Speaker 1: to be included in everything? Not everybody can be a quarterback.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I've said the same thing. Not everyone can be an astronaut,
- 20:34Speaker 1: that type of thing. Why can't we just have like,
- 20:38Speaker 1: this category of extremely good looking, tall, thin women still
- 20:43Speaker 1: be able to be supermodels in this day and age.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I think tall, thin, beautiful women will do fine in
- 20:50Speaker 1: this life. The industry has changed. I see what she's saying.
- 20:55Speaker 1: But she just kind of was like, Kylie doesn't have
- 20:58Speaker 1: a model's body. She has a Carmen Electra body. Now,
- 21:00Speaker 1: 15 years ago, you would say Carmen Electra is gorgeous,
- 21:04Speaker 1: but you wouldn't say she is supermodel.
- 21:06Speaker 2: She is fashion model material. But I feel like that's
- 21:11Speaker 2: gone away for a while.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And also when girls really wanted to model and they
- 21:15Speaker 1: had the most beautiful face and they were only 5'6
- 21:18Speaker 1: or 5'7, it was unfortunate that they had to be
- 21:22Speaker 1: rejected from this. So now look 20 years later, that
- 21:26Speaker 1: beautiful girl who's 5'6, she can make money being an influencer.
- 21:29Speaker 1: She can People will want her to wear their clothes
- 21:32Speaker 1: because she can literally sell it herself on her platform,
- 21:37Speaker 1: social media platforms. So I appreciate Adrienne Curry's point of
- 21:42Speaker 1: view and what she was getting across. And I also
- 21:47Speaker 1: can totally see by having Kylie, you got Timothee Chalamet
- 21:51Speaker 1: in the audience. You've got Kris Jenner, you know, all
- 21:55Speaker 1: of it. You have all of them supporting her. And
- 21:57Speaker 1: I think it was all good. Also, Kim Kardashian showed
- 22:03Speaker 1: her Halloween costume, or one of them, and she dressed
- 22:06Speaker 1: up as North West with the blue hair and the grill,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and she was acting like her, going, ah, ah, ah,
- 22:11Speaker 1: and doing that thing. And I really thought that's probably
- 22:15Speaker 1: the best thing I've seen in her situation of mothering
- 22:20Speaker 1: a girl where she's being constantly criticized that this girl
- 22:22Speaker 1: doesn't have a childhood, that she shouldn't be out performing,
- 22:25Speaker 1: that she can't perform, that she has no rhythm. All
- 22:28Speaker 1: the criticism and everything She is doing her thing. And
- 22:32Speaker 1: I thought it was a really great Halloween idea. And
- 22:35Speaker 1: I would love to know how it came about. Back
- 22:39Speaker 1: in the day when I was friendly with Kim way
- 22:42Speaker 1: early on, they didn't even have the TV show yet.
- 22:44Speaker 1: And I was at her Dash store. Maybe the TV
- 22:46Speaker 1: show just started. And I said, Wonder Woman is the
- 22:50Speaker 1: best Halloween costume. And she goes, oh my God, you're right.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And she opened up her side. It was like before
- 22:55Speaker 1: Black Bear. It was called like a side piece or something.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And you could write little things in it. No, it
- 23:01Speaker 1: was called like a side something. And it was like
- 23:03Speaker 1: a little, and she put that in there. And then
- 23:06Speaker 1: months later she was Wonder Woman for Halloween, but she
- 23:11Speaker 1: wore black tights with it. And I always thought that
- 23:12Speaker 1: was a weird choice, but I'm saying they were into
- 23:15Speaker 1: the costumes and I just want to know when did
- 23:17Speaker 1: she think of it?
- 23:18Speaker 2: And I think that was great.
- 23:20Speaker 1: This is, this is good news. I believe it's strange news.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Christina Applegate, fabulous actress, child actress, you know, um, funny, lovely.
- 23:32Speaker 1: She just announced on her podcast, which just returned, so
- 23:36Speaker 1: she saved this juicy scoop for her podcast on its
- 23:42Speaker 1: first episode, which she does with Jamie Lynn Sigler, famous
- 23:45Speaker 1: from The Sopranos, that after years of believing that she
- 23:49Speaker 1: was suffering from multiple sclerosis, she has now shockingly revealed
- 23:54Speaker 1: that she doesn't have the disease. The doctor that diagnosed
- 23:57Speaker 1: her was like, hey, you don't have it. And I
- 24:03Speaker 1: don't know what that means. A lot of people in
- 24:05Speaker 1: the comments are like, Christina, be checked for Lyme.
- 24:08Speaker 2: What is this? It's very, I mean, I find it
- 24:12Speaker 2: very strange. This disease has been around a long time.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I would assume that someone at her.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Level would have access to all the best doctors, would
- 24:21Speaker 1: have access to so many other people that are connected
- 24:24Speaker 1: to the best doctors that would be like, Christina, my
- 24:26Speaker 1: sister has MS. I want you to see this incredible
- 24:29Speaker 1: person in Canada or whatever. And that for all those
- 24:33Speaker 1: people that she saw couldn't, took five years in 2026
- 24:37Speaker 1: to figure this out. So there's a lot of speculation
- 24:41Speaker 1: about what is this? I, you know, I'm not saying
- 24:45Speaker 1: it's anything.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Munchausen-ish or anything like that. Okay. Lisa Rinna, I'm not
- 24:53Speaker 2: saying that. Okay. Yolanda, I'm not saying that. I'm just
- 24:57Speaker 2: saying this is crazy.
- 24:59Speaker 1: And I hope that With this new non-diagnosis, she goes
- 25:04Speaker 1: a different route and can live a healthier life because
- 25:07Speaker 1: she walks with a cane. And, you know, anybody that
- 25:11Speaker 1: knows someone with MS, it can move very rapidly or
- 25:14Speaker 1: it can move very slowly. Everyone has a different journey
- 25:16Speaker 1: and it's, but it's very debilitating. It's hard and it's
- 25:19Speaker 1: painful and sad. So we'll see. Also, Selma Blair, who
- 25:23Speaker 1: has MS, as you know, she freaked out on an
- 25:27Speaker 1: airplane and And she also did an interview before this
- 25:32Speaker 1: airplane incident on Jenny McCarthy's show.
- 25:35Speaker 2: And she said, I.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Was drinking a lot to numb the pain that I
- 25:42Speaker 1: was feeling from MS, but I didn't know I had
- 25:46Speaker 1: MS at the time.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And I never.
- 25:48Speaker 1: So I maybe went longer without being diagnosed, which is
- 25:53Speaker 1: just kind of interesting. Now you're like, well, maybe do
- 25:55Speaker 1: you really have it?
- 25:55Speaker 2: Because... And then in an update.
- 25:58Speaker 1: To her freakout, just to remind you guys, this happened
- 26:04Speaker 1: October 11th. She was arrested at JFK after the Delta flight.
- 26:09Speaker 1: She punched one flight attendant and bit another. Then she
- 26:12Speaker 1: kicked a Port Authority officer and a hospital nurse after
- 26:16Speaker 1: the plane landed. She was charged with two felony counts
- 26:19Speaker 1: and a second degree assault. She pleaded not guilty on
- 26:22Speaker 1: October 12th. Bail was set at $ 20, 000 and she was released.
- 26:27Speaker 1: And there's also an order of protection for the nurse.
- 26:30Speaker 1: She's afraid that she's going to come, the nurse is
- 26:31Speaker 1: afraid she's going to come after her. And her defense
- 26:34Speaker 1: is that she missed several doses of medication for serious
- 26:37Speaker 1: neurological symptoms, then fell and hit her head, which left.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Her severely confused.
- 26:45Speaker 1: So FBI is still investigating and her next date is
- 26:48Speaker 1: January 19th, 2027. So it kind of makes you wonder,
- 26:52Speaker 1: was she drinking? Does she still have a drinking issue?
- 26:54Speaker 1: She said in this interview that she doesn't drink anymore,
- 26:57Speaker 1: which was, again, shot before this incident with Jenny McCarthy.
- 27:02Speaker 1: So again, I hope that she gets the proper help
- 27:06Speaker 1: she needs. I hope we actually find out the truth.
- 27:09Speaker 1: There have been incidents where she has bit people in
- 27:11Speaker 1: the past. She has joked about it in her book
- 27:15Speaker 1: that she would be at a party and then just
- 27:17Speaker 1: take someone's hand and bite them or bite their arm.
- 27:20Speaker 1: when she's not drunk or high. She also was arrested
- 27:24Speaker 1: for misbehavior on a plane in 2016. And also, Christina
- 27:30Speaker 1: Applegate and Selma Blair were in a movie together called
- 27:34Speaker 1: The Sweetest Thing like 20 years ago.
- 27:36Speaker 2: So, 25 years ago. So, that's interesting.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Okay, on Dancing with Stars, some Dancing with Stars news.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Tyler Cameron from The Bachelor, he and his fiancee Tate
- 27:50Speaker 1: Madden revealed her pregnancy, they're pregnant, on Dancing with the Stars.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I didn't understand what happened. He has a partner, they're dancing.
- 27:59Speaker 1: It was like a dedication episode where they first honored
- 28:02Speaker 1: his mother who had passed and then they're dancing. And
- 28:05Speaker 1: then at the end, I guess they switched partners or something.
- 28:09Speaker 1: And then his fiance comes out and then she reveals
- 28:11Speaker 1: her tummy. So a lot of people like Caitlin Bristow,
- 28:15Speaker 1: who I follow, who is a former bachelorette, they all
- 28:18Speaker 1: are like friends. was like crying tears of joy. So
- 28:21Speaker 1: people that are aware of their relationship are really happy
- 28:24Speaker 1: about this. They got engaged back in August. So they
- 28:27Speaker 1: must have known they were pregnant then because she looks
- 28:29Speaker 1: quite showing.
- 28:32Speaker 2: But that was cool.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And then this happened last week where the Dancing With
- 28:37Speaker 1: Stars pro, Val Chermakoski, he was suspended for a week.
- 28:44Speaker 2: And I didn't understand what the story was, and I'll
- 28:46Speaker 2: tell you what happened. So his.
- 28:48Speaker 1: real wife, was also Dancing with the Stars person. So
- 28:52Speaker 1: essentially they're competing against each other. And she and her
- 28:55Speaker 1: partner did a lift where the guy, the non-famous dancer,
- 28:59Speaker 1: lifted her. And Cariana Nava said, criticized that lift. He
- 29:05Speaker 1: went on Twitter, Val, and said, ooh, I didn't like that.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I was ready.
- 29:10Speaker 1: You're lucky that Fresh Prince of Bel-Air didn't come out
- 29:13Speaker 1: on stage. He removed that tweet. on X, shortly after.
- 29:21Speaker 1: But she, Karen Onaba, felt that was a threat to
- 29:25Speaker 1: her because it was interpreted as keep my wife's name.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I get it. I get the joke. Okay.
- 29:32Speaker 1: He was saying, you better keep my wife's name out
- 29:35Speaker 1: of your mouth, joking, or I'll be like the fresh
- 29:39Speaker 1: Prince of Bel-Air. Well, to remind you, that's when Fresh
- 29:43Speaker 1: Prince of Bel-Air, who is Will Smith, got angry at
- 29:46Speaker 1: Chris Rock during the Oscars because he made fun of
- 29:49Speaker 1: Jada Pinkett's shaved head by saying, are you going to
- 29:51Speaker 1: be in the next G.I.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Jane?
- 29:53Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden he started screaming from
- 29:56Speaker 1: his seat saying, keep my wife's mother effing name out
- 30:00Speaker 1: of your mouth or something. And he got up on
- 30:01Speaker 1: stage and he really slapped Chris Rock.
- 30:05Speaker 2: This wasn't great.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Cause I was doing a live juicy scoop at the
- 30:07Speaker 1: time and brand improv and people were getting alerts on
- 30:10Speaker 1: their phone. And then I was like, okay, I think
- 30:12Speaker 1: I need to address this. I couldn't believe it was
- 30:14Speaker 1: real anyway. Um, those two weirdos are still together. Talk
- 30:20Speaker 1: about a narcissistic, strange relationship. Um, Will and Jada. But
- 30:25Speaker 1: so she then went to HR. They suspended him for
- 30:29Speaker 1: a week. He did a public apology. Never should have
- 30:32Speaker 1: joked about that. I think there's just something so interesting
- 30:36Speaker 1: about when do you have to realize, like, you know what?
- 30:41Speaker 1: Why don't you just stay off social media when you
- 30:43Speaker 1: have a paid big ABC, Hulu, whatever, Disney job? Why
- 30:48Speaker 1: don't you just stick it to photos and like funny things?
- 30:51Speaker 1: Why don't you not like anything? Why don't you keep
- 30:54Speaker 1: yourself commenting? Why don't you just say the minute you
- 30:57Speaker 1: have a real job in which somebody else is paying
- 31:00Speaker 1: you on TV, I would just go, dude, take this
- 31:05Speaker 1: as an opportunity of having more time off and stay
- 31:08Speaker 1: off of social media.
- 31:10Speaker 2: So that was what happened there.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, a little more info
- 31:16Speaker 1: about the gorgeous brand and model. Bitch of Bravo found
- 31:21Speaker 1: this photo. in which he did a modeling shoot.
- 31:28Speaker 2: With Luann de Lesseps. Money can't buy a class.
- 31:33Speaker 1: And so I really think it's interesting that he worked
- 31:38Speaker 1: with Luann before as like a model. He's currently working
- 31:43Speaker 1: with Khloe Kardashian as a model doing her perfume ad.
- 31:48Speaker 1: And he also found his way into dating Bronwyn. So
- 31:54Speaker 1: this guy gets around. I thought that was kind of interesting.
- 31:57Speaker 1: And also speaking of Mormons, yes, we knew this was coming.
- 32:01Speaker 1: It has now been announced and we got to see
- 32:02Speaker 1: a fun trailer. It's coming out, I think, early November,
- 32:07Speaker 1: but it is The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives OC.
- 32:13Speaker 1: So a couple of the girls, Jen Affleck is kind
- 32:19Speaker 1: of leading it and she meets these other girls and
- 32:22Speaker 1: there's From what I can tell, there's polyamorous or a
- 32:26Speaker 1: threesome relationship where none of them are going to church anymore.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Probably one is.
- 32:31Speaker 1: But anyway, one girl is like, I love you to
- 32:34Speaker 1: her husband. And then she turns to another beautiful, white, long,
- 32:37Speaker 1: luscious locks of hair, freshly scrubbed face and kisses it.
- 32:43Speaker 1: And okay, so she's got a girlfriend. And then, you know,
- 32:46Speaker 1: crying or getting divorced or sad.
- 32:49Speaker 2: It looks good. It looks juicy as fuck. So that's happening.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Also, there's rumors that there's a real housewife of Houston
- 32:58Speaker 1: beginning filming in which a comedian, Gary Owens, who is
- 33:03Speaker 1: a big comedian, his wife, I believe it's his second wife,
- 33:08Speaker 1: she's a very pretty girl. They recently got married that,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and I went to look at their wedding pictures and everything,
- 33:17Speaker 1: that supposedly she's going to be one of those real housewives.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I think that would be really kind of fun.
- 33:23Speaker 1: That's something I'd like to see and kind of watch
- 33:27Speaker 1: that world.
- 33:27Speaker 2: So we'll see.
- 33:28Speaker 1: There's also talk that there is a Real Housewives of
- 33:32Speaker 1: Nashville beginning. And the people on that is Hannah Brown
- 33:37Speaker 1: from Bachelor Nation, Holly Woodward.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I don't know who that is.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Jordan Washburn and Jesse Decker. that they're supposedly doing, and
- 33:49Speaker 1: they're all young and gorgeous and seem to all have
- 33:54Speaker 1: some type of already following. So that's Real Housewives of Nashville,
- 33:58Speaker 1: which they've tried to do for years. I know Josh Wolfe,
- 34:03Speaker 1: my comedian friend, his wife, she put together a show
- 34:07Speaker 1: with Nashville women before to try to make a TV show.
- 34:12Speaker 2: But it wasn't this housewife type of stuff.
- 34:15Speaker 1: It was really like women helping women and they, you know,
- 34:19Speaker 1: finding their way in their careers, whether it was music
- 34:21Speaker 1: or whatever in Nashville. And I was so excited for it,
- 34:25Speaker 1: but it didn't go. So I think they've been trying
- 34:27Speaker 1: to do something in Nashville for a while. And I
- 34:29Speaker 1: think it's a pretty great idea. Yeah. Okay, we also, also,
- 34:35Speaker 1: oh my God, remember when I talked about Office Romance
- 34:38Speaker 1: and I ripped on that movie? Well, Jennifer Lopez is
- 34:41Speaker 1: casually dating her Office Romance co-star, Brett Goldstein.
- 34:47Speaker 2: It's on TMZ.
- 34:49Speaker 1: And I just feel like we haven't heard from her
- 34:50Speaker 1: for a while. And to put out like a, have
- 34:53Speaker 1: a statement go that they're casually dating and it was
- 34:56Speaker 1: like six months ago that this movie came out.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I don't know. It's just weird. Maybe they really are.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I don't know. It's not that interesting. The Golden Life
- 35:06Speaker 1: premiered last Tuesday night. Everybody doesn't know where to watch it.
- 35:12Speaker 1: E is not part of Peacock anymore. And it comes
- 35:17Speaker 1: on E on regular TV at 10 p.m., which the
- 35:22Speaker 1: people watching it don't want to watch it at 10 p.m.
- 35:26Speaker 1: So nobody knows where they can watch the rerun.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Or what?
- 35:32Speaker 1: And I think that's going to be a problem or
- 35:35Speaker 1: it's going to be great because it's going to be
- 35:36Speaker 1: people clamoring for it so much that they're going to
- 35:39Speaker 1: figure out a way to get us to see it.
- 35:41Speaker 1: I only got to see clips and Ramona was Ramona
- 35:44Speaker 1: Ng and I love it. She had some event at
- 35:48Speaker 1: like a store and someone was like, oh, hi Ramona.
- 35:51Speaker 2: And she was like, you know what? I don't know
- 35:53Speaker 2: who you are. Okay. I don't know you.
- 35:54Speaker 1: This is all my really good friends. And that's why
- 35:57Speaker 1: they're here to like have something that I like to
- 35:59Speaker 1: be with people I know. I don't know you were filming.
- 36:01Speaker 1: So it's like, I really think, I really think, I
- 36:03Speaker 1: don't mean to be rude.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Okay. But I think you have to leave.
- 36:06Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my God. But she has
- 36:09Speaker 1: always said she does not like people walking up to
- 36:11Speaker 1: her asking for autographs. She's always like, you know, I
- 36:13Speaker 1: had a really great date with like a great guy.
- 36:15Speaker 1: I don't like it when somebody walks up to me
- 36:16Speaker 1: and is like, Ramona, can I talk to you?
- 36:18Speaker 2: I'm like, no, you know what? You really can't. Okay?
- 36:20Speaker 1: You can't because I'm having a lovely dinner with a
- 36:22Speaker 1: lovely gentleman and I don't want that bothering me. I
- 36:25Speaker 1: don't even want him to know that I'm famous. So
- 36:27Speaker 1: I need to find this show. Someone tell me where

- 39:58Speaker 1: to get, listen, so many juicy things came out of
- 40:01Speaker 1: this interview with Dorothy Wang, formerly of Rich Kids at
- 40:05Speaker 1: Beverly Hills.
- 40:06Speaker 2: We talk about that.
- 40:06Speaker 1: We talk about her ending of her friendship with Morgan
- 40:09Speaker 1: Stewart and why. We talk about her wedding, so many things,
- 40:14Speaker 1: bling empire, where she is today, having a billionaire dad,
- 40:19Speaker 1: how that was found out. It was such an interesting
- 40:21Speaker 1: interview and I got so many questions answered. I think
- 40:24Speaker 1: you're going to love it. So right now, please welcome
- 40:27Speaker 1: Dorothy Wang.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I have Dorothy Wang. You know her from Rich Kids
- 40:33Speaker 1: of Beverly Hills, but her latest endeavor is becoming a mother.
- 40:37Speaker 1: She's with child, but also she's a newlywed and you
- 40:41Speaker 1: get to see that on her own show, which is
- 40:45Speaker 1: Dorothy's I Do. And I'm so excited to finally talk
- 40:49Speaker 1: to you on Juicy Scoop. We've run into each other
- 40:51Speaker 1: over the years and you've never been on the show.
- 40:53Speaker 2: So welcome. Thank you. I'm so happy to be here finally.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I mean, you're in the news a lot right now
- 41:02Speaker 1: because you really share a lot on this YouTube show,
- 41:09Speaker 1: but it's a professional reality show, about going through your wedding.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And I always think Wedding Talk is really interesting because—
- 41:18Speaker 1: if we haven't been through it, you kind of have
- 41:20Speaker 1: a fantasy of what you want, what you want your
- 41:22Speaker 1: wedding to be, or you've attended weddings and everyone's so
- 41:25Speaker 1: opinionated about it.
- 41:26Speaker 2: And you come from incredible wealth.
- 41:30Speaker 1: So my first question is, did you even, did you
- 41:33Speaker 1: have a budget for this wedding?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we had a budget.
- 41:38Speaker 3: We do, you know, and I, you know, what was
- 41:40Speaker 3: interesting is that, you know, I know that during wedding time, like,
- 41:44Speaker 3: you know, you kind of sometimes go over budget or
- 41:46Speaker 3: it's kind of like, you extend your budget a little bit.
- 41:50Speaker 3: I realize I actually like having restriction and through my
- 41:55Speaker 3: dress process and just kind of like when they say like,
- 41:58Speaker 3: sky's the limit, what do you want to do? That
- 42:00Speaker 3: stresses me out. I like to have a little bit
- 42:03Speaker 3: of restriction, whether it's time, whether it's budget, whether it's service,
- 42:09Speaker 3: something to kind, or else it's just, it's like you
- 42:12Speaker 3: really feel like you're just floating and you have.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Nothing grounding you.
- 42:17Speaker 3: So the most stressful for me was when, especially for
- 42:20Speaker 3: some of my dresses, they said, we can design anything
- 42:23Speaker 3: you want.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I'm like, anything?
- 42:25Speaker 3: Like, so I actually, even though they said that, I
- 42:28Speaker 3: preferred to kind of try on a bunch of existing
- 42:31Speaker 3: dresses and then took my favorite parts and pieces from
- 42:34Speaker 3: existing dresses and said, okay, let's work with this as
- 42:37Speaker 3: a base and then add on instead of kind of
- 42:39Speaker 3: like creating something from my dreams. Yeah.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Well, I want to step back a little bit on,
- 42:46Speaker 1: you know, how you got on TV. And so you're,
- 42:50Speaker 1: you know, your father's a billionaire and you grew up
- 42:53Speaker 1: at Beverly Hills. Were you, you were born here or
- 42:57Speaker 1: you guys came when you were a child?
- 43:00Speaker 3: My parents both moved to the U.S. when they were
- 43:03Speaker 3: going to grad school and then they met in Los Angeles.
- 43:06Speaker 3: But my sister and I were both born in Los Angeles.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And so what was that like when friends would find
- 43:13Speaker 1: out that you're not just another kid with a nice
- 43:18Speaker 1: McMansion in Beverly Hills?
- 43:20Speaker 2: The wealth is beyond that. And how do you manage that?
- 43:25Speaker 2: The thing is that when.
- 43:27Speaker 3: We were growing up. We didn't really talk about money.
- 43:29Speaker 3: We never talked about figures. It would be like we're
- 43:32Speaker 3: going to dad's grand opening of his gigantic department store
- 43:37Speaker 3: in China. And like now he's opening a second and
- 43:39Speaker 3: now there's a third and there's a fourth. And now
- 43:42Speaker 3: there's a hotel. You know, it was more business oriented. Like, oh,
- 43:45Speaker 3: we're opening all these things. We have all these businesses.
- 43:48Speaker 3: But it was never business. talked about money was never
- 43:52Speaker 3: talked about. And my mom definitely like she would give
- 43:54Speaker 3: us grief if we didn't go and actually drink like
- 43:58Speaker 3: the milk that you ordered for us at school for
- 44:01Speaker 3: like the daily $ 2. 50. So we were very grounded growing up.
- 44:06Speaker 3: We were not wasteful. We definitely were not taught like,
- 44:10Speaker 3: you know, you guys are rich and, you know, can
- 44:13Speaker 3: do anything.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I did not know.
- 44:17Speaker 3: I didn't We never put a number on anything until
- 44:20Speaker 3: Forbes did, freshman year in college. And they released my
- 44:25Speaker 3: father on the world billionaire list.
- 44:29Speaker 2: And that was the first time. And where were you
- 44:32Speaker 2: a freshman in college at?
- 44:34Speaker 3: I was at SMU in Dallas, Texas. Yes. I decided
- 44:37Speaker 3: I wanted to leave LA for a little bit and
- 44:39Speaker 3: try something different.
- 44:41Speaker 2: So I went to Dallas, Texas.
- 44:43Speaker 3: And that is when the first time there was a
- 44:45Speaker 3: number placed there. And I remember, I guess I must
- 44:50Speaker 3: have gone home or it was during winter break or
- 44:52Speaker 3: something because I just remember my dad on the phone screaming,
- 44:57Speaker 3: threatening to sue Forbes. He doesn't want to be part
- 45:00Speaker 3: of this. How can you print my name without my,
- 45:03Speaker 3: you know, and I remember it's just all public information
- 45:05Speaker 3: and they said that. But, you know, it was not
- 45:07Speaker 3: something that... he really necessarily wanted out there. I think
- 45:11Speaker 3: since then now, you know, he speaks at a lot
- 45:13Speaker 3: of the four conferences and, you know, he's gotten involved
- 45:17Speaker 3: in that. But in the beginning, it was not real. Just,
- 45:20Speaker 3: you know, having the number out there and being on
- 45:23Speaker 3: the list was actually not something that he wanted.
- 45:27Speaker 2: So was that weird?
- 45:29Speaker 1: Like when you were suddenly like your college friends, were
- 45:33Speaker 1: you in a sorority, first of all?
- 45:35Speaker 2: I was not in a sorority.
- 45:38Speaker 3: So were your college friends then? I think I tried
- 45:40Speaker 3: out for them. I don't think they understood me. And
- 45:42Speaker 3: I think at that time at SMU and in Texas,
- 45:45Speaker 3: I think people didn't understand, like, I'm this Asian girl,
- 45:49Speaker 3: but grew up in Beverly Hills. And I'm Asian, but
- 45:53Speaker 3: I like to go out. And it just wasn't, I
- 45:56Speaker 3: don't think they totally got me there. I eventually ended
- 46:00Speaker 3: up transferring to USC.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I can see that. And also, you know, I
- 46:06Speaker 2: know that now so many kids are going to Southern.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Schools and Texas schools. But even like 15 years ago,
- 46:13Speaker 1: it wasn't as common. And they even now it's like
- 46:18Speaker 1: my niece is at a Southern school with a big
- 46:22Speaker 1: sorority life. And I was like, well, you know, drop
- 46:27Speaker 1: that you. or an LA girl. And like, her aunt's
- 46:30Speaker 1: just me. Like, I'm like, and drop that, you know,
- 46:33Speaker 1: they can all stay at your house, you know, because
- 46:35Speaker 1: they live in La Quinta for Coachella.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Like I was like saying, and she was like, they
- 46:41Speaker 2: don't want LA people.
- 46:42Speaker 1: They still want like the, oh, this girl went to
- 46:46Speaker 1: my high school and I know this person.
- 46:47Speaker 2: And like, it's not like a coup at all.
- 46:51Speaker 1: It's probably harder to break in there than if you,
- 46:55Speaker 1: than at USC is my opinion. But, So eventually you left.
- 47:01Speaker 1: So was it difficult, though, like with that news breaking out?
- 47:04Speaker 1: Did you feel like there were like eyes on you
- 47:06Speaker 1: somehow or it didn't matter?
- 47:07Speaker 3: I don't... To be honest, I don't think anyone in
- 47:11Speaker 3: Dallas was like.
- 47:13Speaker 2: It seems like a very New York, L.A.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Kid.
- 47:14Speaker 3: I don't know if anyone in Dallas was like checking
- 47:18Speaker 3: the Forbes 400 and seeing like which students' parents.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Were on there.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Maybe.
- 47:23Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 47:24Speaker 1: It was.
- 47:25Speaker 3: I think it's more... prevalent I feel like in Beverly
- 47:29Speaker 3: Hills that people found out and we knew or you
- 47:34Speaker 3: know were excited about it but I was always showing
- 47:37Speaker 3: things if that makes sense like department store opening new
- 47:41Speaker 3: bag new what you know what I mean so I
- 47:43Speaker 3: don't think it was like completely came out of nowhere
- 47:46Speaker 3: I just think that we there was like a number
- 47:48Speaker 3: established to what people were seeing.
- 47:51Speaker 1: And So when you then transferred to USC, were you
- 47:55Speaker 1: like in a beautiful apartment? I don't think you were
- 47:57Speaker 1: like living in a crowstorm with a random roommate. Like
- 48:00Speaker 1: what is it like for someone of that privilege when
- 48:04Speaker 1: you're in your 20s?
- 48:05Speaker 2: Are you on a budget? Like how does that work?
- 48:08Speaker 3: I definitely was on a budget. It wasn't like my
- 48:11Speaker 3: parents were getting me an apartment at the Ritz, which,
- 48:14Speaker 3: you know, later a lot of kids were doing. At
- 48:17Speaker 3: that time, the nicest apartment there was called the Tuscany.
- 48:21Speaker 3: And it was a luxury style apartment. And I remember I,
- 48:25Speaker 3: a girlfriend, we got a three bedroom apartment. My girlfriend
- 48:30Speaker 3: and I had two of the bedrooms. And then somehow
- 48:33Speaker 3: we were put into touch with little Romeo, who is
- 48:37Speaker 3: coming to play basketball next year.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. He was our third roommate. How fun was that?
- 48:46Speaker 2: It was fun.
- 48:47Speaker 3: I mean, it was very interesting. Sometimes we'd wake up
- 48:49Speaker 3: and Master P would be in our kitchen. We'd be like, oh, hi, P.
- 48:52Speaker 3: And we'd go to class. But I think our apartment,
- 48:56Speaker 3: we said, was pretty empty because we were LA kids
- 48:59Speaker 3: and we would always go home. But it was nice
- 49:02Speaker 3: for us to have the experience. And I know that
- 49:04Speaker 3: we would say, okay, this week, let's actually go to
- 49:08Speaker 3: the frats. Let's not go home. Let's go to the
- 49:10Speaker 3: football game. And once in a while, we still wanted
- 49:13Speaker 3: that experience, the college experience.
- 49:16Speaker 2: But a lot of the times, you know.
- 49:18Speaker 3: After school, we were going to Neiman's and Barney's and
- 49:22Speaker 3: Jones on 3rd right away.
- 49:24Speaker 2: And coming back to the city.
- 49:25Speaker 1: And so when did the opportunity for Rich Kids of
- 49:30Speaker 1: Beverly Hills come?
- 49:31Speaker 2: How old were you and how did it come about?
- 49:34Speaker 3: So when I was young, all through high school, I
- 49:38Speaker 3: was always very outgoing, very high-pitched voice, chitter-chatter, sharing everything
- 49:42Speaker 3: all the time. I think it started with Twitter. I
- 49:45Speaker 3: started tweeting things, and I noticed that people liked what.
- 49:48Speaker 2: I was tweeting.
- 49:48Speaker 3: It would be like, Wednesdays are for diamond shopping with mother.
- 49:53Speaker 3: It's like just random stuff and people just liked it.
- 49:57Speaker 3: And then when Instagram came about and I got Instagram
- 50:00Speaker 3: and then there are now images with what I was
- 50:02Speaker 3: doing that got popular and they put me on this
- 50:06Speaker 3: site all the time called Rich Kids of Instagram that
- 50:09Speaker 3: was very popular then. So in my head, I was like, okay,
- 50:12Speaker 3: like people seem there's interest there. And my whole life,
- 50:16Speaker 3: I always, I watch reality shows. I always thought like, oh,
- 50:20Speaker 3: I could do that. Not that I was studying, but
- 50:21Speaker 3: I was like, oh, like, okay, I have the, you know,
- 50:26Speaker 3: the life for that or the charisma for that.
- 50:30Speaker 2: And so people always said, you should have a show,
- 50:31Speaker 2: you should have a show.
- 50:32Speaker 3: And then when I was in my senior year of college,
- 50:37Speaker 3: I got my real estate license. So I was actually
- 50:40Speaker 3: licensed at the agency with my best friend, Farrah.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Oh, wow. I didn't know that.
- 50:47Speaker 3: So I was going to start working there. But at
- 50:49Speaker 3: the same time, I had been kind of selling... different
- 50:54Speaker 3: treatments and packages for shows to different networks and studios
- 51:00Speaker 3: and production companies. I remember for a while when it
- 51:02Speaker 3: was all about Ryan Seacrest Productions, I actually had pitched
- 51:05Speaker 3: a show to Ryan Seacrest Productions.
- 51:09Speaker 2: And then they came back.
- 51:10Speaker 3: And said they wanted us to be like assistants at
- 51:14Speaker 3: a pawn shop.
- 51:15Speaker 2: And we're like, I don't think that really matches. So
- 51:16Speaker 2: then we moved on.
- 51:17Speaker 3: And then eventually, actually, they were casting for a show
- 51:22Speaker 3: about kids in Los Angeles, or it was more like,
- 51:25Speaker 3: I think it was more clubby, it was older than,
- 51:27Speaker 3: I think it was around 30s, we were only like mid-20s. And,
- 51:31Speaker 3: but my friend actually was Justin Sylvester. He said, you know,
- 51:35Speaker 3: I heard they're casting for this, you should call in
- 51:38Speaker 3: and talk to them. And so- I joke now with
- 51:42Speaker 3: the casting director, Geron Ophir, that it took him seven
- 51:46Speaker 3: calls to finally call me back. Finally, I knocked his
- 51:48Speaker 3: door down. He called me back.
- 51:50Speaker 2: I was just like, hi, my name is Dorothy Wang.
- 51:52Speaker 2: I'm from Beverly Hills.
- 51:53Speaker 3: I have this friend who's dating this person secretly and
- 51:55Speaker 3: this and that. And he was just like, can you
- 51:57Speaker 3: guys come in tomorrow? So I created like a cast
- 52:00Speaker 3: out of my friends. Because I just knew kind of
- 52:04Speaker 3: what sold, what was interesting. So I knew which friends
- 52:07Speaker 3: had the personality, which ones had, you know, they had
- 52:09Speaker 3: a secret relationship no one knew about. They had history.
- 52:12Speaker 3: So I put together my cast. I think originally my
- 52:16Speaker 3: show was called Lost Angeles because we were all 20-some-year-olds.
- 52:22Speaker 3: exiting college, not sure what we're doing with our lives
- 52:26Speaker 3: and like being in Los Angeles and just kind of
- 52:27Speaker 3: floating around trying to figure it out.
- 52:30Speaker 2: And we went in for this casting. They put us
- 52:32Speaker 2: on tape.
- 52:34Speaker 3: And I remember when I knew they were serious is
- 52:37Speaker 3: when they called us on Christmas Eve. Because if they're
- 52:41Speaker 3: working and looking at the tapes over a holiday and
- 52:44Speaker 3: they're not waiting until New Year's, like that means that,
- 52:46Speaker 3: you know, they want to move on it.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Well, Los Angeles is a great name, but I also
- 52:54Speaker 1: know when I've like pitched things, how a city like
- 53:00Speaker 1: Beverly Hills in the title and things like that, because
- 53:03Speaker 1: the rest of the world, when you say Beverly Hills,
- 53:05Speaker 1: they immediately see that. And so it's a very good
- 53:09Speaker 1: marketing tool if it's in the title and things like that. So,
- 53:15Speaker 1: but I do think Los Angeles could be... you know,
- 53:17Speaker 1: a great title for a movie, a book, whatever.
- 53:20Speaker 2: I love it.
- 53:21Speaker 1: And I love the idea that you're in, it's, you know,
- 53:24Speaker 1: I always thought, I remember I wanted to like write
- 53:27Speaker 1: a movie called Six Years Out and it was six
- 53:30Speaker 1: years out from college.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Cause I felt like.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Around 28 is such like a pivotal time for a
- 53:36Speaker 1: group of friends of like.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Are you in the career that you want?
- 53:39Speaker 1: Are you heading towards marriage, like, it's just kind of
- 53:43Speaker 1: an interesting time where it's like, are you still going
- 53:45Speaker 1: to the games every weekend or have you, like, moved
- 53:48Speaker 1: on or something?
- 53:49Speaker 2: Transitional time.
- 53:50Speaker 1: So, in pitching your group, was that, did you have
- 53:54Speaker 1: Brendan Fitzpatrick and Morgan because they were already a couple,
- 53:57Speaker 1: Morgan Stewart?
- 53:59Speaker 3: So, With Morgan, I had asked her because, you know,
- 54:04Speaker 3: she had a big personality and she made it very
- 54:07Speaker 3: known she wants to be on TV.
- 54:09Speaker 2: You also need to work with people who want to
- 54:11Speaker 2: do it. Right.
- 54:12Speaker 3: And you can't really convince someone who's private to be
- 54:15Speaker 3: on something like this. So, yes, it was Morgan, me,
- 54:18Speaker 3: and then I knew that Brendan and her were secretly dating.
- 54:22Speaker 3: I also was friends with Brendan for a long time.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Why were they secretly dating?
- 54:27Speaker 4: Um.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Because, I don't.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Know, I think they came from two different friend groups. Oh, okay.
- 54:34Speaker 3: And so no one had known that they had crossed
- 54:37Speaker 3: over into each other for a little bit.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Um, it was just early on. I think they hadn't
- 54:42Speaker 2: like gone public yet.
- 54:44Speaker 3: And my friend Johnny Drew Bell, the only one from
- 54:47Speaker 3: the original Rich Kids cast that was not from me
- 54:49Speaker 3: was Roxy because Roxy and I actually went to USC
- 54:53Speaker 3: together and spring break senior year, we got into this
- 54:56Speaker 3: like massive fight. So I originally didn't want her to
- 55:01Speaker 3: be on. So I think when the producers knew that,
- 55:03Speaker 3: they're like, let's call this girl. But she obviously was,
- 55:07Speaker 3: you know, a great addition. Very, like, Beverly Hills, sparkly,
- 55:11Speaker 3: fun girl. Um, and also then eventually came EJ. I
- 55:16Speaker 3: met EJ at a club.
- 55:17Speaker 2: EJ Johnson, Magic Johnson's child.
- 55:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:21Speaker 3: Magic's son. And we met at Bootsy Bellows and he
- 55:24Speaker 3: was always fun. And one day I was in the club.
- 55:26Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I'm talking to E. He's like,
- 55:28Speaker 3: I'm talking to E. I was like, should we like
- 55:31Speaker 3: mix shows? And then he said he agreed to come
- 55:34Speaker 3: on to our show.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Yes. And so how many seasons did that do on E?
- 55:39Speaker 2: So that was four seasons. And why did it end?
- 55:44Speaker 3: You know, I think at the time, it's one of
- 55:47Speaker 3: those things where I felt like we were very maybe
- 55:51Speaker 3: underappreciated at the time. It was weird because I feel
- 55:54Speaker 3: like with the title, first of all, we had a
- 55:57Speaker 3: very kind of hot topic title that we hated. So
- 56:01Speaker 3: it was called The Rich Kids Part. Rich Kids of
- 56:04Speaker 3: Beverly Hills. I remember when they announced the show title
- 56:07Speaker 3: to us, the first thing I said was, well, isn't
- 56:10Speaker 3: that redundant? Why do we have to put Rich and
- 56:12Speaker 3: Beverly Hills in the same sentence? It's, you know, we're
- 56:15Speaker 3: stuffing it in their faces. So when you come out
- 56:18Speaker 3: with a title like that, people, you know, we did
- 56:21Speaker 3: have targets on our backs. I remember the first year
- 56:24Speaker 3: of press that we did, or, you know, I think
- 56:27Speaker 3: it was before the first season came out.
- 56:29Speaker 2: It was rough. It was tough.
- 56:31Speaker 3: And we just kept having to say, like, just watch
- 56:33Speaker 3: the show. You know, it wasn't about us flaunting our
- 56:37Speaker 3: wealth every day. Like, it was in the background. Like, oh,
- 56:40Speaker 3: we're pulling up in this car. We're going here. But
- 56:42Speaker 3: we're not, like, sitting down talking about. And I think
- 56:44Speaker 3: it took, I saw a turn after the third episode.
- 56:48Speaker 3: People were like, oh, these kids are funny. Like, oh, like,
- 56:52Speaker 3: I relate to them. They could be my friend. So,
- 56:54Speaker 3: you know, we saw a turn in the tide. But
- 56:56Speaker 3: the first couple weeks were very difficult. And the show,
- 57:01Speaker 3: you know, I think in the beginning, it was really
- 57:06Speaker 3: marketed and supposed to be a bubbly buddy comedy where
- 57:10Speaker 3: it was like me and Morgan kind of buddy comedy
- 57:12Speaker 3: and ensemble cast fun and light.
- 57:14Speaker 2: And I think.
- 57:17Speaker 3: Where it changed was then VH1 was doing these shows
- 57:21Speaker 3: that were a little bit darker and then they thought
- 57:23Speaker 3: maybe we should start doing stuff like that. And then,
- 57:26Speaker 3: you know, of course, if part of the buddy comedy
- 57:29Speaker 3: doesn't want to film scenes and be a buddy comedy
- 57:31Speaker 3: with you anymore, like dynamics change, they want to bring
- 57:35Speaker 3: in new people. There's, you know, so I think it
- 57:39Speaker 3: just kind of lost its initial DNA.
- 57:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:42Speaker 3: And at the time, I think the official reasoning from E!
- 57:46Speaker 3: was that, you know, the show was doing well. At
- 57:47Speaker 3: that point, we were ranked second after the Kardashians. And
- 57:54Speaker 3: they said that they had invested in a group of
- 57:58Speaker 3: girls who cost less than us and are willing to
- 58:03Speaker 3: do more. So they banked on this other show.
- 58:07Speaker 2: What was that? It was called Wags. Oh, yeah, Wags.
- 58:13Speaker 3: And they banked on that being a franchise. They wanted
- 58:17Speaker 3: that to be like Real Housewives.
- 58:18Speaker 1: They thought that had a big longevity and it could
- 58:21Speaker 1: be in every city.
- 58:24Speaker 2: I can see.
- 58:25Speaker 1: That that's very typical and also makes sense when.
- 58:31Speaker 2: You're trying to. It's a business. It's called show business
- 58:35Speaker 2: for a reason, you know.
- 58:37Speaker 3: And for us, what was a detriment to us was
- 58:39Speaker 3: that they did try to franchise Rich Kids at Beverly
- 58:41Speaker 3: Hills in different locations. There was like a Miami. I
- 58:45Speaker 3: think they did a whole pilot presentation. But I mean,
- 58:49Speaker 3: they did come back and just say it's not like
- 58:52Speaker 3: the original. And they tried to do it in the
- 58:54Speaker 3: UK and it didn't pan out. And I think, you know,
- 58:56Speaker 3: they were really looking for something they could franchise. And
- 58:59Speaker 3: for some reason, Rich Kids was they just couldn't find
- 59:03Speaker 3: the right people or the right chemistry. and that ended
- 59:06Speaker 3: up you know, hurting us.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I can totally that makes a lot of sense.
- 59:12Speaker 1: So with Morgan, so you guys were good for a while.
- 59:16Speaker 2: You were good.
- 59:17Speaker 3: On the show that it was like, I mean, not
- 59:19Speaker 3: always there were you watch season I forgot season four,
- 59:24Speaker 3: there was a revelation that.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Came out that she had spoken poorly of you.
- 59:30Speaker 3: Yeah, so she was referring to me as a racial
- 59:33Speaker 3: slur on set around, you.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Know, everyone. And that was true?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Oh, so then how did you address that with her?
- 59:45Speaker 2: I mean, we brought it up.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Obviously, everything gets bleeped out and censored. And at the time,
- 59:52Speaker 3: I think it was, how do you know or who
- 59:54Speaker 3: told you this? And I think, you know, and I
- 59:58Speaker 3: watch it back. And a lot of times when I
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: watch things back at that age, my biggest dream is
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: to go back in time to when I maybe wasn't
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: as confident or wasn't as strong. Because I do feel
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: like when you're on a show with big personalities who
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: can scream louder than you and be a little bit
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: more vicious than you, you're a little scared. You know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: I was always tiptoeing around. I didn't know, you know,
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: how they were going to react. So I brought it
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: up on the show and, you know, I think that she,
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: she apologized and we tried to move on. And I
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: know at the time she had her wedding coming up,
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I had a lot of pressure, unfortunately, from networks and producers,
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: you know, a bunch of white people telling me like,
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: move on and get over it. We have another show
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: to finish, you know, network wants you at that wedding. So,
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: you know, I tried my best to move on. And
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: then there obviously is always like a, oh, but you
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: can't say it's racist because that's so awkward for them,
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: you know.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: So I.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Think a lot of it kind of got demoted to
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: a mean comment, not a racial comment.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: And it just, you know, and at the time, I think.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: It's interesting because what I've learned with filming is in
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: the time, maybe the people around you trying to make
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: you feel something or you're overreacting. But when things air
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: and the public comments and they're like, what?
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: This is ridiculous.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: Not that you feel validated, but you feel like, wow,
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: maybe I didn't overreact.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Or maybe I.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Actually wasn't allowed to.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: React how I should have or taken it as seriously
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: as it should, I should have. So that was kind
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: of always glazed over and like, are you going to
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: be at the wedding?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: And, you know, if.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Let's try to, you know, gloss over and tie it
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: up in a pretty ribbon at the end.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: So somehow you guys made it back. You were heading
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: towards your wedding. You were planning on including her. And
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: then you had this like very awkward dinner. And I
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: think this is such an interesting subject to talk about
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and very relatable because your wedding is, whether you have
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: a huge budget or a small budget, you hope that
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it's only going to be your one wedding, right?
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: And you want it to be great and you want
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: the vibes to be perfect. And so can you just
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: sort of explain what made you go, I don't think
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: this is where it's at.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: And you chose to not invite her.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I think starting when I had to
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: gloss over things and forgive and, you know, be the
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: bigger person, I think I kind of took that role.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: And over time, you know, obviously there are other things
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: leading up and I just always, you know, was the
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: bigger person. Don't overthink it, you know, move on, move on,
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: move on, move forward, move forward. And And, you know,
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: then you hear other things and this and that. And
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: so there's already things brewing. And then two weeks before
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: the wedding, the last time you see them before the wedding,
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: something else happens. And it's just, you know, the end
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: for me.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: So was it like she thought she was going and
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: she was there at like the pre-parties?
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I gave notice. I gave notice after.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: No, I think it maybe was like two weeks, which
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: is short. But that was, you know, when after a
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: bad experience occurred. So I just, you know, when it's
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: your wedding, and I say this all the time, when
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: it's supposed to be the happiest moment in your life,
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: you can really tell who's so happy for you.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: And you can just feel it.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: And the people who are not and the people that
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: don't have genuine intentions for you, they start acting weird.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: Like they kind of show themselves. You know what I mean?
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: They just, it sticks out like a sore thumb. You
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: feel the energy is off. They start maybe being extra
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: shy and extra mean to you and extra, you know,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: and then at a certain point, you know, for me,
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: I think that I was, also with my culture and
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: just everything, just, you know, move on, be the bigger person,
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: don't make a big deal out of it.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: But at a certain point- So how, what was it?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Was it like an email or a text or did
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: you pick up the phone?
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Oh, I sent a very long email, a very long,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: thorough email because I did feel like we do have history.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: I mean, some people say, you know, you should have
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: just been like, bye, you're not invited.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: But for me, I.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Felt like, you know, more was owed than just that.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: And I needed to kind of explain and, you know,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: and it's not just this one night, but just over
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: time how it's been for the last 15 or maybe
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: 12 years.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: So, you know, I had something interesting like that happen
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: where a very good friend of mine, we just stopped
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: talking during COVID. It was over something dumb, but it
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: had been so many years since. And the fact that
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: neither of us ever picked up the phone again, I
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: was like, huh. And then time kept going. And then
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: within the group, sometimes I would be part of a
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: group text or something. And then she got engaged and
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I did reach out. I was like, congratulations and everything.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: And then there were a couple little conversations here or there,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: funny about like, you know, sex in the city or,
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: and just like that or something. And I had a mutual,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: you know, some mutual friends that were like, you... you know,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: you guys need to make this better, like, because her
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: wedding's coming up. And I really said, listen, it's her
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: first wedding. She's an older bride. This is her wedding.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: And I feel like if I reach out now to
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: push to go, and it's me, and I've got the
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: big personality, I'm a little bit famous, whatever. I'm like,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: maybe that's not the element she wants that day. And
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: maybe she's somewhat relieved that we are no longer close.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I don't know. But I think she is the bride.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: She'd be the one that leads it.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: And I just didn't want anything to be coming back
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: on me that I pushed and I went.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: And that's very mature and thoughtful and kind of you
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: to do to kind of recognize that and how she
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: might be feeling. Yeah.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: And it's been a few years since. And now we're
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: friendly within the group. We're never going to be what
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: we were. which I think is okay for both of us.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: I think sometimes friendships have, they say, a reason, a season,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: a lifetime. But I also feel that's a little too
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: cut and dry. I do think that there's times like
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: a marriage that you're so close with your girlfriend and
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: you talk on the phone every day, every day, every day.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: And then when there's a break, you're like, wow, did
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: both of our lives just.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Improve during that break? Maybe we weren't good for each other.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Maybe we all the talking was sort of a toxic
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: thing and it was neither one's fault, but like it
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: wasn't good. And maybe, you know, as long as it's like,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: you know, done in a classy way, maybe it will
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: take years and maybe it will be, you'll have a
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: chuckle at, A dinner, you know, you'll be seen the
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: next day and you'll have a great fucking time laughing
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: at this dinner three years from now.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: But you also won't call each other the next day.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: And it won't pick up again. But you can have.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: And I think that's something that not enough women discuss
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: because it is.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Very, you know, I mean, people get more.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Women, too, are more fascinated by best friends, especially somebody
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: that we see best friends on TV, you know, or
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: housewife best friends. People are more fascinated with celebrity female
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: best friends breaking up sometimes and why.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: And they're like, who did what and who said?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Then someone ending the marriage of 25 years with their
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: father or their four kids, they're like.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: You kick him to the curb, girl. Good for you.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: But when it's about women, they're like, what? How did
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: this happen? Yeah, what happened? And you're like, you know what?
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Life happened. Life happened. And I realized like this.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: situation the way it is now is just not serving
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: either one of us to the best of our lives
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: going forward.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: And that's what I had put in my email as well. And,
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: you know, it was very difficult and hard for me
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: because we had this public relationship, obviously. And part of
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: me doesn't want to let down the OG Rich Kids
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: fans who think that we're like besties and everything's good.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: But at a certain point, it just, you know, and
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: I hope and I said, I hope that one day
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: we could, you know, move forward authentically and genuinely. And
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: I wish her all the best. But I think we,
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: you know, it's just, At some point, I had to
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: take a stand. And I think going into a wedding,
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: starting a life, now starting a family, you know, it
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: just at a certain point, like you're kind of left
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: with no. So much has happened that you're left with,
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: you know, no other choice than to finally stick up
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: for yourself after all these years.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: And then when you did that and did that, when
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: you press send. Did you have more anxiety or like
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: a relief?
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: Oh, I was anxious.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: No, it's scary. It's scary, obviously, to cut the cord
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: with someone, especially someone like that, I guess. And yeah,
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: and you don't know. And you know that there's going
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: to be repercussions and it's going to make life more difficult.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: And people are going to be like, quote, stuck in
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: the middle and you're going to lose other friends because
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: of this. And now, you know. now instead of having
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: a secret enemy, you have a public enemy, I guess.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: That's also very interesting, too, when you reflect on something
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: like that. You're like, were you my frenemy?
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Were you my frenemy?
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: You enjoyed my personality and you found me funny, but
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: did you secretly resent and hate me? All that goes on,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: and you're like, whoa, what was the truth? And then
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: you're kind of like, but do I want to sit
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: down and find out the truth? I don't know that
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I do. I don't think I do want to know
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: the truth. I think I just want to be free.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: And what I said is that, you know, a lot
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: of time to just feel you, it's as if I'm
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: a burden. And if I'm a burden onto someone, I
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: have other things I can be doing. I don't need
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: to be burdening you with my personality and my time
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: and my efforts and my energy.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: So what was the response back, and how quickly did
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: it come back?
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: There was no response back, which is kind of what
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: I expected, because I just know how she is, and
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: there's not a lot of, I want to say, like,
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: what would she respond back? Like, this is how I feel.
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: You know, instead of responding back, actually, that week was spent...
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: grilling all of our mutual friends, asking who leaked what
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: to Dorothy?
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: What does she know?
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Because instead of, I guess, you could, how I feel
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: is if it was genuine and maybe it was a
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: misunderstanding and they are so confused what happened.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: I mean, how much can you tell me what the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: crux of it was?
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: You reach out.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: You would reach out and just be like, what happened?
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: What was the crux of what you heard that was
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: such a turnoff?
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: It was just the final straw of everything. It was
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: being mistreated in person. Well, I say on the show,
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: you know, Months before, they invite me to a dinner
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: that happens to be two weeks before the wedding and
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: asked me to, you know, oh, I'll send you product, blah, blah, blah,
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: all this stuff. I wear the product. I go. And
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: it was very clear they wanted me there.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: For certain things.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: But then when it came to sit down, and there
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: are only four influencers there, you know, public people there,
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: I was sat in the corner very far away from
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: everyone else that she didn't, they didn't want me to
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: maybe be around or have also be associated with.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: And it just, you know, we know how these doors are.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: That happens too in Hollywood where it's like, they kind
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: of don't want you to connect with their people because
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: then opportunities and things could come for you.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: And I was also, I was friends with these people.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: But they wanted to invite them and become friends with them.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: And so curiously, I'm not, you know, it wasn't like
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: Anna Wintour was there and I'm crying because I.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Was three seats over. You know what I mean?
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Like, I know what would have been my natural seat,
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: you know, and it was an empty seats and four
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: over from that. Yeah. You know, and then so then
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: it's and it's here's the thing. It's not the biggest
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: thing in the world, but it was just the final thing.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Right. For me.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: And, and just wanting me there for the, but then
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: also keeping me away, keeping me in my place and
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: that whole thing. It just also like you, I don't know.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: I also think that I've been in New York for
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: four years and people here do not play these fake
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: LA games like that. If you like someone, you invite them.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: If you like someone, you see them. So my relationships
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: since I've moved here have been very honest, very direct,
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: very intentional. Because people here are busy. They have no
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: time to be playing these things. If they make time
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: to see you, they actually want you there. I feel like, no,
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: I don't want to generalize everyone in LA, but I
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: find it's a little bit more LA of a characteristic
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: to be a little bit more facade-y and want to
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: keep a connection without actually liking the person or wanting
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: to be around them.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: So true.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Really true. Really true.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: And I mean, what did you think when you heard
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the news of Brendan Fitzpatrick and his the lawsuit involving
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: accusing of an $ 80 million Ponzi scheme.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: I was shocked.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: I was not to sound mean, but I'm out. I'm
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: shocked who would invest $ 80 million with that was mine.
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: How did he find so many people to give him an,
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: to give him investments?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean? Like I, I, It's
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: a couple different things.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: There's the $ 80 million Ponzi scheme. Then there's like this
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Greek hotel.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a $ 280 million thing. So from my experience
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: with Brendan, he was always very nice, very funny, kind, silly.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: I did not.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Know him to be a businessman.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: I did not know him to be someone who I
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: would invest money in or take financial advice or, you know.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: So I'm surprised, honestly, that these figures are so large
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: and he was able to find so many people to
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: invest with him.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that's always very fast.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: I feel like this person that I, you know, read
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: about now is not the Brendan. I was very close
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: with Brendan for my 20s before, you know, in my
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: early 20s, probably for 10 years. And then obviously when,
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: you know, they divorced and then he got remarried and
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: he moved, you know, we kind of felt. But you
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: still feel like, you know, the person would be the
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: same person. But to me, what I'm reading now is crazy. Yes.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: So how did you meet your husband? I met Brandon.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Now I'm saying Brandon. Oh, my God.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: I met Brandon yesterday.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: In New York, my first Halloween in the city.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: So I moved into January and I met him in
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: October of 2022, I believe.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: I'm really bad with years. So yeah, 2022, I think.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: And we met at a Halloween party, but he was
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: always friends with some of my girlfriends. I would hear
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: his name. They'd say, oh, I wonder what Brandon's doing tonight.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: And I've never met him before. And what was cute
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: was that we were all going to be together upstairs,
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: but him and I actually met on our own first
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: going up the elevators. And I didn't know that was
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: my friend's friend, Brandon. And he didn't know that that
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: was his friend's friend, Dorothy. And we kind of connected
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: and he asked me if I wanted a drink and
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: we were getting a drink. And then all of our
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: mutual friends came over and said, how did you guys
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: know each other? And I said, how did you know?
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: How do you know this random man I just met downstairs?
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: So it's sweet that we, you know, kind of met
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: on our own.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: And so I think it's great that we get to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: watch your wedding and the ups and the downs and
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the things that didn't work out. I want people to
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: go watch it because I do think it's very entertaining
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: and I think you did it well. And, you know,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: in between Rich Kids and Dorothy, I Do, which is
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: your own production, you were part of Netflix's Bling, what's
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: it called?
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: Empire Bling. Wait, Bling Empire.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: They started off in L.A. and then you kind of
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: joined the New York version. And how was that experience?
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: That experience was very different for me than Rich Kids.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: I think being with E! and NBC and our production company,
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: I always appreciated the production company, but I really didn't.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: When joining something like Bling Empire, I realized how much
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: our production team really cared and how much the network cared.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: I think with Netflix, they are a big company with
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: many shows. They're more of like a content hub that
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: they're just cranking out content. So it was a different experience.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: It's like six weeks filming and this and that. You
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: don't really meet the executives. It's just kind of like
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: churned out. So it was very fast paced. And it
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: was a little bit different of an experience for me.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: So So you were glad it ended or you're okay
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: with it ending? No, I think.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: With Netflix, the viewership is, you know, undeniable.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: And way more, even more international than E. Yes, yes.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: And I think with E, you know, we were used to,
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: you know, they wanted to create something that went on
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: for a longer time. I think Netflix, they don't actually
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: want you to go back and watch it again.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: They want you to move on to the next thing.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: So it's very like when it's your when it's your
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: week to debut, you like hear from them. And but
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: after that, it's like, you know, there's not a lot of.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Well, I think the biggest the biggest difference between your
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: two reality show things, too, is it was week to week.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Like you said, you had to wait another week. What's
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: going to happen next on E!, And with the Hulu
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: shows and the Netflix reality show, like Secret Lives and whatnot,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: we get it all to binge. And sometimes as someone
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: who covers things, I don't really like that because I
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: like to cover something and I like to have it
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: piecemeal and I like to kind of go, what's going
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: to happen next? And so it's like, if I get
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: really into it, And it's hard for me to find,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: you know, seven hours to binge a whole thing.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: Yes. And then it is over.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: And then you're it's sort of out of the zeitgeist
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: about two weeks out.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: So it's a very different like press cycle, social media
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: cycle for the reality star.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: So for Dorothy's I Do, which we put on YouTube,
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: we actually did two episodes and each episode is like
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: 30 minutes or so.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: We released two episodes.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Next Sunday, two episodes and then finale episode the following Sunday.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: So we had like a three week little run, but
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: we released two episodes per week until the finale.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: And how was that process? Did you enjoy it?
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Do you want to share more of your life being
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: that now you are pregnant.
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: Congrats. Thank you.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: So for this project, you know, I've always been just
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: talent for hire.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: I would be very involved in production.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: By the end of the day, I had no control,
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: no ownership, no say really. So for this, you know,
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: my husband, he actually is very private. I think he
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: probably would have never guessed that he would sign off
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: to be part of this or, you know, partnering to
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: produce this. But, he would see that, you know, people,
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: when we were walking around in Soho, everyone would be.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: Like, Dorothy, we miss you.
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: Give us something. And, you know, he did, after we
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: got engaged and were planning the wedding, he said, you know,
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: is this something that you would like to document and
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: share with everyone.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, you never ask. But like,
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: I was like, yeah.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: But, you know, he said, let's do it in the
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: right way. Let's create it ourselves. We can start our
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: own production company.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: You know, we....
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: Wanted to be on YouTube because, first of all, I've
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: been in this game for long enough where I know
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: if we had approached a network and said, oh, we're
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: doing a wedding show, they're going to say, okay, we
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: need three fights, your mom seven times, who's going to
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: be your co-star?
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: Like a lot of mandates, right?
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: That for this, we didn't really want to feel forced or,
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: you know, have.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: Too many opinions and things we had to do.
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: Because this is also, it's our wedding. It's sacred to us.
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: We want to.
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: Tell it how it actually happens and not have this,
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: you know, kind of like falsified manufactured production. Because for
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: me with the reality shows, I hated the fighting.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: It was not my forte.
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: I hated doing it. And it just, you know, is
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: not me.
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: And so.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: That is something that we felt that, you know, was missing.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's really interesting that you said that. Like,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: I knew if I went to a production company that
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: those would be the mandates. And I think as people
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: that are connoisseurs of reality TV, not just television, people
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: have worked in television, but a lot of the audience
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: is getting kind of tired of that formula. And I
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: think there is going to be a move to something
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: a little different. Real drama is real drama is very
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: interesting when a marriage breaks up or when two girlfriends
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: no longer are on the same page.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: Things like that are very compelling, very real life.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: But when you're watching something and you're like fighting about,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: you know.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: When you're at a big dinner table and someone stirs
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: the pot and spills the tea.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: And someone has to say, well, so and so said
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: that you said this in the car ride over.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: And you're like, we know why.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: You split the four, you know, four people into two
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: different cars just for this.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: And it just feels like, ugh. So I love that
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you did this. Thank you so much for coming on
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Juicy Scoop. How far along are you?
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: I am 17 weeks.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: So I think that's a little bit over three and
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: a half months. And when was your actual wedding day?
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: My actual wedding was a little bit over a year ago.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: So it was October 11, 2025.
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: So you did marry as a virgin. This pregnancy came
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: after the wedding day.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: Very good.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: That's what we need for sure. Do you know what you're,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: have you told us what you're having or that's all
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: a secret? We actually, our goal, we filmed something for YouTube.
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: Oh, good.
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: So you know. You know.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I know. Yes.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: Okay, cool. We just did it. We just found out.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: I love that. Okay, well, tell everybody where they can
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: follow you and all of that.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: So Dorothy's I Do, our five-part wedding special is on YouTube.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: And I'm on Instagram and TikTok. Oh, and Threads recently.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Just your name, Dorothy Wang. Yeah. Perfect.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: This was so fun. Thank you for being so frank
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: and honest. I feel like I'm just excited for your future.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: And it was really great to finally get to have
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: this moment to.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: Talk to you. Thank you. Long overdue. Yes. Thank you.
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: From morning swims in Sandy Cove to coffee in Ranala
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: or walks along Sandy Mount Strand. At a certain point,
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: where you live shapes how you live.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: Maybe you want.
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: More space, a shorter commute or simply somewhere that feels
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: more like where you are now. On daft.ie, you can
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: explore the most sought-after homes for sale across South Dublin.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: When you're ready for the next chapter, start with Ireland's
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: number one property platform.
