A 52-year-old man, Luke Randal Johnson, has been indicted on first-degree murder charges for allegedly shooting his 71-year-old mother, Brenda Warne, during a June 12 incident at their home. Deputies responded to the scene where Brenda was found fatally wounded; Johnson, reportedly armed, was taken into custody.
