- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Marximo on the Voice of New York
- 0:04Speaker 1: seven to ten.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Woongkay, all right, we'll get to all the fun stuff. Now.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's gonna be like in the fifties today it's cooled off.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Hey, you know what, I'll take this over the ninety
- 0:16Speaker 2: degree days. I wasn't used to. That's gonna be fifties
- 0:19Speaker 2: and sixties. It'll get to seventy like on Thursday. So, uh,
- 0:25Speaker 2: we're talking about taxes, you know, and Mamdanie goes after
- 0:29Speaker 2: these billionaires and they pay their fair share, they pay
- 0:31Speaker 2: their fair share, you know. Nope, you see what these
- 0:35Speaker 2: billionaires pay. They actually don't pay their fair share. They
- 0:37Speaker 2: pay like five times their fair share. They pay more
- 0:40Speaker 2: than they should be paying. Even if you're a billionaire
- 0:43Speaker 2: in New York, you're paying like fifty six percent of
- 0:46Speaker 2: your money in taxes. There's something unethical, immoral. But it's
- 0:50Speaker 2: totally immoral. How could you take there should be a
- 0:53Speaker 2: national law. How can you take fifty six percent of
- 0:55Speaker 2: somebody's income and call it taxes? Ridiculous? There should be
- 1:02Speaker 2: some sort of law, an actual national law passed that
- 1:05Speaker 2: nobody could pay more than I don't know twenty five percent,
- 1:09Speaker 2: maybe thirty percent of their money in taxes. How did
- 1:12Speaker 2: you pay fifty six percent of your money in taxes?
- 1:15Speaker 2: So you know they go after Bezos all the time,
- 1:17Speaker 2: or Elon Musk. Do you know what Jeff Bezos paid
- 1:20Speaker 2: in tax last year? In income tax? Jeff Bezos last
- 1:26Speaker 2: year paid something like ten billion in taxes. Elon Musk
- 1:31Speaker 2: paid fourteen billion in taxes. How much tax are you
- 1:35Speaker 2: supposed to pay? Remember that it was two years ago.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Was Elizabeth Warren and that whole bunch in Bernie Sanders.
- 1:41Speaker 2: They kept going after Musk saying he was not paying
- 1:45Speaker 2: his fair share, not paying his fair share. Well, then
- 1:47Speaker 2: he released the numbers. It turned out that he paid
- 1:51Speaker 2: more tax that year than anybody in the history of
- 1:54Speaker 2: the world. He was the single biggest tax bearer on
- 1:56Speaker 2: earth and set the all time record. He paid like
- 1:58Speaker 2: fourteen billion that year in taxes. And for all they're
- 2:02Speaker 2: huffing and puffing these socialists, you know they Bernie Sanders
- 2:05Speaker 2: is a great example. The guy's got three homes, three
- 2:09Speaker 2: serious houses. He's a multi multi millionaire. Now you're saying, well,
- 2:14Speaker 2: how could a guy in a government salary become a
- 2:17Speaker 2: multi millionaire? Well, a little scheming, a little financial shenanigans.
- 2:22Speaker 2: You know when you run for office. When you run
- 2:25Speaker 2: for president, the big money, you know, all the campaign
- 2:29Speaker 2: consultants and all the people that you know run your campaign,
- 2:33Speaker 2: they get paid. The big money is in the media buys.
- 2:38Speaker 2: You know, when you raise hundreds of millions and you
- 2:41Speaker 2: spend it on television commercials, radio commercials, and you got
- 2:45Speaker 2: to go out and buy one hundred and fifty million
- 2:49Speaker 2: in commercials. Well, the buyer, the media buyer, gets a
- 2:53Speaker 2: ten percent fee on those buys because the media buyer
- 2:57Speaker 2: figures out exactly where to place them. It's tricky, very tricky.
- 3:03Speaker 2: You know who you want to reach. Like, let's say
- 3:04Speaker 2: you came up here to the sixth floor here at iHeart.
- 3:07Speaker 2: We got a lot of radio stations up here, and
- 3:10Speaker 2: on this floor we reach about twenty three million people
- 3:14Speaker 2: every day. Got all the biggest stations on earth. There's
- 3:18Speaker 2: a Z one hundred and Q one oh four light FM,
- 3:21Speaker 2: Power one oh five light FM. I think most listen
- 3:23Speaker 2: to radio station in America by far. But if you
- 3:27Speaker 2: come up here, you're the agency, and you come up
- 3:30Speaker 2: here and you want to buy some commercials, where do
- 3:31Speaker 2: you buy them. I mean, if you talk to the salesperson,
- 3:35Speaker 2: you know they'll try to help you and say, we
- 3:37Speaker 2: have a whole marketing team. Well you got to say,
- 3:41Speaker 2: especially in a political campaign, I'm weak in Hispanic voters
- 3:45Speaker 2: in New York City. Well we can figure out exactly
- 3:49Speaker 2: which station. Maybe it's k TU, maybe it's just which
- 3:51Speaker 2: station reaches that. Or I need to reach an older audience,
- 3:56Speaker 2: Well we know which station have put you on. I
- 3:57Speaker 2: need to reach teenagers in the suburbs, we know which
- 4:00Speaker 2: station to put you on. So but that's what media
- 4:02Speaker 2: buyers do. You hire an agency and they figure all
- 4:04Speaker 2: this out. So the media buyer gets a ten percent
- 4:07Speaker 2: fee on the commercial buy. So in the Bernie Sanders
- 4:10Speaker 2: presidential campaigns, where hundreds of millions were spent, they had
- 4:15Speaker 2: an agency as their media buyer that nobody ever heard of.
- 4:17Speaker 2: It was a new one, nobody recognized the name, small agency,
- 4:22Speaker 2: and they got the ten percent commission and on a
- 4:25Speaker 2: couple hundred million in ad buys, that's about a twenty
- 4:28Speaker 2: million dollar commission. Twenty five million dollar commission. Well it
- 4:32Speaker 2: turned out if you looked out, looked up, who is
- 4:34Speaker 2: this little agency owned by missus Sanders missus Bernie Sanders,
- 4:40Speaker 2: so she was the media buyer, and they pocketed the
- 4:44Speaker 2: twenty twenty five million. They've done that a few times,
- 4:46Speaker 2: so he knows. Maybe he's up to thirty million now.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And they got three homes. And he was on some
- 4:53Speaker 2: show that confronted him about, you know, you're supposed to
- 4:55Speaker 2: be mister socialists, I could we have three homes and
- 4:58Speaker 2: he went through this whole explanation and.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Guess what, I'm a United States Senator and I own
- 5:02Speaker 4: a home in Washington, d C. As do most centers.
- 5:05Speaker 4: You know, you live there a year after he when
- 5:07Speaker 4: I first.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Wait a minute, wait a minute, let's stop right there.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Most of these guys, the new congressman, a lot of
- 5:13Speaker 2: these senators, they don't own a home in Washington. They
- 5:15Speaker 2: own a home in their district. So what do they
- 5:17Speaker 2: do when they got to go to Washington. Well, some
- 5:19Speaker 2: of them sleep in their office if they can't afford
- 5:21Speaker 2: a second home. And what most of them do is
- 5:24Speaker 2: they have roommates. You know, there's these apartments where like
- 5:27Speaker 2: five senators live. Schumer lived in one of those three years. Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 2: so they have roommates. They do stuff like that. They
- 5:33Speaker 2: don't own big homes in each place.
- 5:35Speaker 4: Actually, when I was in Congress was sixteen years. I
- 5:37Speaker 4: rented all the time, but I got elected. Okay, you
- 5:40Speaker 4: got a six year term. You know what, Let's buy
- 5:41Speaker 4: a house. So we waught a house. And guess what,
- 5:44Speaker 4: Like many thousands of people in the state of Vermont,
- 5:47Speaker 4: I have a summer camp. It's a nice one on
- 5:49Speaker 4: Lake Champlain.
- 5:51Speaker 2: He's got another very expensive home on Lake Champagne, like
- 5:54Speaker 2: most people in Vermont. That not everybody in Vermont has
- 5:57Speaker 2: a nice, big home, second, third home on Lake. Three
- 6:00Speaker 2: major houses this guy owns. Trying to pretend he's a socialist.
- 6:04Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous. It's all just talk. It's just dreamy eyed.
- 6:09Speaker 2: They're like crazy college kids. This is what Mam Donnie is.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You know, mom Donnie is, you know, twelve years old,
- 6:16Speaker 2: you know, went to Columbia wherever the hell you know,
- 6:18Speaker 2: carverd Columbia. These are anti Semitic socialist training camps, and
- 6:23Speaker 2: they just come out all starry. They've had no actual, practical,
- 6:26Speaker 2: real experience. They think it works. It doesn't work.
- 6:29Speaker 1: A democratic socialist politics is one that should be judged
- 6:32Speaker 1: on its delivery, like any ideology, and what we're showing
- 6:35Speaker 1: in this city is we can we can pursue the
- 6:38Speaker 1: big things like universal childcare and do the pothole politics
- 6:41Speaker 1: at the same time that we're showing and not just
- 6:43Speaker 1: filling in the potholes, changing the catch basins, but also
- 6:46Speaker 1: repaving over a thousand miles of roadway.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That's what it's all about, not actually doing anything. You
- 6:52Speaker 2: just got to talk to see. Any other thing is
- 6:54Speaker 2: these young people, these young socialists. It's about the temple.
- 6:59Speaker 2: You got at the right tempo. So if I talked
- 7:02Speaker 2: like this, it doesn't sound so great. But if you
- 7:05Speaker 2: talk like mom Donnie, and you talk very fast, and
- 7:07Speaker 2: you sound like you can talk a mile a minute,
- 7:08Speaker 2: it makes you sound much smarter, because how could he
- 7:10Speaker 2: talk that fast if he's not that smart, you know.
- 7:11Speaker 2: So if you just talk really fast, it makes you
- 7:13Speaker 2: sound like So if you ever listened to these podcasts
- 7:15Speaker 2: of these twenty three year old left wing you're listening
- 7:19Speaker 2: to the podcast and they all talk like this, and
- 7:20Speaker 2: you're listening to the podcast and they're talking like this,
- 7:22Speaker 2: and you think, well, I must they hit the wrong
- 7:23Speaker 2: button because it sounds sped up, and it's not. It's
- 7:25Speaker 2: just that's how they talk. Did you see the guy
- 7:28Speaker 2: in real life, Hey, how are you? I'm very good?
- 7:30Speaker 2: How are you? They did? They just talk like that.
- 7:32Speaker 2: So now the real reality of all this is that
- 7:35Speaker 2: you look at mom Donnie free busses. Well, turns out
- 7:39Speaker 2: he's now confessed. He's now admitted he can't do the
- 7:42Speaker 2: free buses. He has absolutely no authority over the buses.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It's up to hokl the empty So yes can't do
- 7:48Speaker 2: the free buses. That universal daycare for all the kids,
- 7:51Speaker 2: he's now saying, well, it could be for ages two
- 7:55Speaker 2: to four. He can't do it for all the kids
- 7:58Speaker 2: like he promised. The grocery stores. You'll never ever ever
- 8:01Speaker 2: see a free grocery store. In fact, he'll never get
- 8:04Speaker 2: one built. But let's say he did get one built
- 8:06Speaker 2: like he claims in three years. He's now confessed it
- 8:11Speaker 2: won't even be free, and it won't be discount. He's
- 8:14Speaker 2: now saying it'll just be it'll be regular prices. But
- 8:18Speaker 2: there'll be a core, a little core of items that'll
- 8:21Speaker 2: be at a discount, just a little core of important
- 8:24Speaker 2: staple items. So he's now admitted that all the major
- 8:27Speaker 2: promises can't possibly happen. If you watch all Weekend, the
- 8:34Speaker 2: Sunday shows, or all the crazy left wing John Oliver,
- 8:37Speaker 2: all these crazy type shows. The talk was of Trump
- 8:40Speaker 2: has ruined himself attacking the Pope. His war with the
- 8:46Speaker 2: Pope has cost him everything, the political capital he blew
- 8:52Speaker 2: on that he's ruined with Catholics. This has really hurt him,
- 8:58Speaker 2: the war with the Pope. Now, I don't know if
- 9:01Speaker 2: they know this, but I could go back to twenty
- 9:03Speaker 2: sixteen and find the same shows claiming the same thing
- 9:07Speaker 2: when he went after Pope Francis ten years ago. Exactly
- 9:09Speaker 2: ten years ago, he had the same fight with Pope Francis,
- 9:12Speaker 2: and that one was actually even worse. And not only
- 9:15Speaker 2: did it not hurt him, he won the election right
- 9:17Speaker 2: after that, so it didn't affect anything. And the idea
- 9:20Speaker 2: of liberals defending the Pope, liberals taking the Pope's side.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Listen to Bill Maher, I.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Love hypocritical America. I really do see liberals suddenly love
- 9:30Speaker 3: the Pope. O'kay, who does exorcism, doesn't believe in gay marriage,
- 9:34Speaker 3: no women priests. But now because he's feuding with Trump,
- 9:37Speaker 3: MSNBC loves this guy. He's got a big speech on
- 9:41Speaker 3: the floor from Chuck Schumer.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yah, a hypocrisy, unbelievable. Hey, Tom Holman was making a
- 9:49Speaker 2: speech and he got heckled. You know, you get these
- 9:52Speaker 2: young college crazy hecklers. But Holman doesn't put up with
- 9:58Speaker 2: heckler's listen to react to the heckling.
- 10:00Speaker 5: I got mourns like.
- 10:00Speaker 2: This all the country.
- 10:04Speaker 5: This guy, this guy warn't Norse were like the surface nation.
- 10:07Speaker 5: This guy ain't got the balls to be a nice officer.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Do you ever got the ball to.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Be a bom Chorgian? This guy who lives in his
- 10:16Speaker 5: mother's basement? Nor is they gonna surprise me? You don't
- 10:19Speaker 5: have purple hair and a nose ring.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Get out of here, your loser, good for a home?
- 10:26Speaker 2: And so hey, you know about the cash patel uh.
- 10:33Speaker 2: We were talking about this before. There were publications that
- 10:35Speaker 2: used to be very highly regarded and respected. You know,
- 10:38Speaker 2: The New York Times was very prestigious, The New York Times,
- 10:42Speaker 2: they called it what they called it, the gray old
- 10:43Speaker 2: Gray Lady, the paper of record, the New York Times,
- 10:48Speaker 2: The New Yorker was a very prestigious magazine. The Atlantic
- 10:52Speaker 2: was a very elite literary magazine. The Atlantic very very respected. Well,
- 11:00Speaker 2: all that changed the New York Times is the most
- 11:02Speaker 2: left wing propaganda They've been caught with more fake news,
- 11:06Speaker 2: more lies. Same thing with the Washington Post. The New
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yorker is the most biased, slanted crap in the world.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You know, they used to call it mainstream media. There's
- 11:16Speaker 2: no such thing as mainstream media. New York Times can't.
- 11:19Speaker 2: You can't call it mainstream. It's such a left wing propaganda,
- 11:23Speaker 2: fake newsplace. And The Atlantic was such a prestigious sort
- 11:28Speaker 2: of magazine. Well now it's just chunk, left wing junk.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Years ago. It was bought by the widow of Steve Jobs,
- 11:36Speaker 2: Loreen Jobs, when Steve Jobs died left her billions of
- 11:41Speaker 2: dollars and she started a foundation, and one of the
- 11:43Speaker 2: things she wanted she bought The Atlantic magazine. And I
- 11:46Speaker 2: guess she's a real left wing cook because she loaded
- 11:50Speaker 2: it up with these real left wing cooks. And The
- 11:53Speaker 2: Atlantic a lot of fake news. Yeah, I once in
- 11:55Speaker 2: a while to get something right, you know, they accidentally
- 11:58Speaker 2: tripped into that signal Gate story, But most of the
- 12:01Speaker 2: time it's just absolute left wing crap, most of it
- 12:04Speaker 2: not true. So they went after cash Patel, and they're
- 12:09Speaker 2: claiming Cash Patel, the FBI director is a drunk. He's
- 12:12Speaker 2: always out partying. He gets so drunk he can't work.
- 12:16Speaker 2: He got so drunk he couldn't find his office. He
- 12:18Speaker 2: got so drunk he did something with his computer and
- 12:21Speaker 2: blocked himself out of his own computer, can't get into
- 12:24Speaker 2: the system. And all this stuff. Now, usually when these
- 12:29Speaker 2: left wing publications lie, when they make up this crap,
- 12:31Speaker 2: what they do New York Times, they all do this.
- 12:34Speaker 2: If they're making up some you've seen Cash Patel. Does
- 12:37Speaker 2: he look I mean, look at Eric Swallwell, okay, that
- 12:40Speaker 2: looks like a guy who could get himself into some
- 12:41Speaker 2: trouble with booze and women and drugs. And he looks
- 12:45Speaker 2: the type. Cash Patel doesn't look like a big party here.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I mean, I know the guy not that well, but
- 12:52Speaker 2: I've known him for years. He's a pretty normal guy.
- 12:55Speaker 2: He's not a wild, crazy partying guy. But they printed
- 13:00Speaker 2: all this crap. And when you got to make up
- 13:02Speaker 2: some far fetched crap, what they always do New York
- 13:04Speaker 2: Times Atlantic. Instead of saying we have a confidential source,
- 13:07Speaker 2: they'll say twenty seven confidential sources. Whenever you see a
- 13:11Speaker 2: big number, you know they're lying. You know they're lying.
- 13:15Speaker 2: You know it'd be like three sources. It's usually two
- 13:17Speaker 2: sources is all. You want one source and somebody up
- 13:20Speaker 2: back it up. Where you have twenty seven confidentials, well
- 13:23Speaker 2: whatever you are, these huge numbers. You used to hear
- 13:26Speaker 2: that with Brennan and Clapper and you know all that
- 13:30Speaker 2: crap they made up about Russia. We have thirty seven confidentials.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So it's Atlantic Magazine. It's probably all false, all made up.
- 13:38Speaker 2: So cash Pttel is now talking about suing them, and
- 13:44Speaker 2: this is going to be tough. It's tough when you're
- 13:45Speaker 2: a public figure, but this is pretty serious to accusations
- 13:49Speaker 2: about being so drunk he couldn't function, being so drunk,
- 13:52Speaker 2: he screwed up his whole computer system, this kind of stuff.
- 13:55Speaker 2: So he's going to probably sue Atlantic Magazine. This could
- 14:00Speaker 2: get very interesting because they have a feeling just knowing
- 14:03Speaker 2: them that they made the whole damn thing up with
- 14:05Speaker 2: their fake anonymous sources and the way you make it up,
- 14:09Speaker 2: kind of make it up, and then you get anybody
- 14:11Speaker 2: to say, oh, yeah, yeah, that's true, and it's probably
- 14:14Speaker 2: not a good source, but you claim it's a good source.
- 14:17Speaker 2: You just you can always find a bunch of crazy
- 14:20Speaker 2: Democrats or Washington insiders who hate the guy, who will
- 14:23Speaker 2: confirm it for you even though they don't know what
- 14:25Speaker 2: they're talking about. So this could be a hell of
- 14:27Speaker 2: a lawsuit. Hey, the White House Correspondence Dinner is Saturday night.
- 14:35Speaker 2: For all of his time in office, last time, in
- 14:37Speaker 2: this time, President Trump has never gone to the White
- 14:40Speaker 2: House Correspondence Dinner. It's just the worst of the fake
- 14:42Speaker 2: news and they always attack him like crazy. Why should
- 14:45Speaker 2: he go? So this year he's going. First time ever.
- 14:49Speaker 2: This year he's going. Now they've agreed not to have
- 14:51Speaker 2: one of these crazy left wing, angry comedians as the
- 14:54Speaker 2: host as the featured entertainment. Instead, they'll have Oz the Mentalist.
- 15:01Speaker 2: He's pretty good and Trump is a very experienced roaster.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I mean, the guy did a million Friar's Roasts, a
- 15:09Speaker 2: million Comedy Central roast, stole the show at the Al
- 15:12Speaker 2: Smith dinner last year. He was amazing roasting everybody. So
- 15:16Speaker 2: he's pretty good. But some are saying, well, who knows,
- 15:20Speaker 2: maybe the White House Correspondence, maybe a lot of the
- 15:22Speaker 2: top fake news anchors. Maybe these people won't show up.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Why should they put themselves in the line of fire
- 15:27Speaker 2: at Donald Trump and now two one hundred and fifty
- 15:32Speaker 2: major news journalists have signed a letter, including Dan Rather
- 15:38Speaker 2: ninety four, Dan rathers ninety four, even Sam Donaldson or
- 15:43Speaker 2: old buddy Sam Donaldson ninety two signed the letter, but
- 15:46Speaker 2: two hundred and fifty major journalists signed the letter demanding
- 15:50Speaker 2: that if this dinner, that the White House Correspondence dinner,
- 15:53Speaker 2: that the press hold the president accountable. In other words,
- 15:59Speaker 2: they want him to want the press to go after
- 16:01Speaker 2: him and hold him accountable. I don't know. Maybe they're
- 16:05Speaker 2: ninety four and their TV doesn't work anymore, but I
- 16:08Speaker 2: think I think the press is I think they've been
- 16:12Speaker 2: trying to attack him a little. Have you noticed the
- 16:15Speaker 2: last ten years the press ever attacking Donald Trump. I
- 16:18Speaker 2: think they're already on that. I don't think you have
- 16:19Speaker 2: to tell him that. Oh I forgot the big story.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Guess who's running for city council. Lindsey Boylan. That was
- 16:26Speaker 2: one of the big Andrew Cuomo accused her. She was
- 16:29Speaker 2: fact the first woman to accuse Cuomo of sexual harassment.
- 16:33Speaker 2: She's running for city council now. She's run before for
- 16:37Speaker 2: Congress for Manhattanboro president, didn't do well, she lost, but
- 16:41Speaker 2: this time she got mom Donnie's adortsment. You know, you
- 16:45Speaker 2: got to figure Mom Donnie hates Cuomo, so he's endorsing her.
- 16:49Speaker 2: So this remember Cuomo did so much damage to New
- 16:53Speaker 2: York with his no bail, no jail, with his closing
- 16:55Speaker 2: Indian Point, with his closing prisons, letting all the prisoners out,
- 17:00Speaker 2: the guy that came up with this Pieta tear a tax,
- 17:01Speaker 2: he was just did so much damage as governor, and
- 17:04Speaker 2: then all of his sexual harassment accusers. So she's running
- 17:07Speaker 2: for city councils that may bring this whole thing up again.
- 17:11Speaker 2: But with Mom Donnie's endorsements, got a good shadow winning.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Pretty interesting. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred
- 17:18Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 17:21Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten
