  we want to say. I don't know what time of the

  of these now and they all blow into one.

  show too. That's not how it's going to be

  for us, but for you listening and watching, that is how it

  will look. So we were back at the

  Manchester MMU for, as I say, future shock, a test of
• 1:31
  faithful. This on paper, this card will
• 1:38
  look really good. And unfortunately, the there was
• 1:45
  a few things that went against them, but they I think it's fair
• 1:50
  to say they more than made-up for it for how they kind of like
• 1:53
  padded this card out. Yeah, we adopted what?

  Happened so we're going to rush through this because well we're
• 2:07
  just going to try and rush through it so we can get the
• 2:10
  show more compact for you so match number one for the future
• 2:18
  shock adrenaline championship, the leading man gorgon, the
• 2:26
  leader of the horde. So notes of the match, Gorgon.

  This starts out the writer of the two surprising Tony by the
• 2:41
  more traditional his approach to this match, not resorting to
• 2:47
  kind of time wasting or basically he wrestled, which I
• 2:56
  don't think anyone really expected governor to really do,
• 3:00
  but more kind of trying to waste time, get up to different trips
• 3:10
  and all all different things. But we didn't expect him to come
• 3:15
  out wrestling. Tony fights back with a number
• 3:20
  of offences. One with his now traditional
• 3:24
  running off the the road and with hitting a leaping
• 3:29
  clothesline. Gorgon hits a flurry of offence
• 3:35
  but is stuck dead with a super hit from the champion right then
• 3:42
  misses a claim to Babe and finds nothing but Matt Gogan.
• 3:49
  Then it's a running Meteora. The Horde then come out to give
• 3:57
  some immoral support to Gogan, and while you have Serafin and
• 4:03
  Haley cooling on the opposite side of the ring, distracting
• 4:08
  referee Reese Solomon grabs a bottle of water.
• 4:14
  Solomon to give to Gorgan, who I think it's fair to say he was
• 4:20
  going to try and mist Tony. However, someone that has
• 4:27
  suffered being misted in the face a few Times Now, that being
• 4:32
  an AJ, he came from nowhere to kick the bottle of water into
• 4:38
  the face of Gorgon, blinding him temporarily and LED to Tony
• 4:45
  hitting the claim to fame and celebrate by hitting a crotch
• 4:51
  shot on the way out. What was your assessment of this
• 4:59
  contest? Probably wasn't the match I'd
• 5:02
  start off with, but always good to have a title match from the
• 5:05
  start. Gorgon impressive finally
• 5:12
  wrestling solo for once without any help, but we knew he
• 5:18
  couldn't. Eventually he eventually got his
• 5:22
  friends out, but I'll. Say this one.
• 5:25
  I think this might be the most impressive display of the goal
• 5:31
  behind the scene quite a while. It might be his best singles
• 5:35
  match in future Shot today. Especially the Hive scene, even
• 5:41
  though we kind of had shenanigans and everything,
• 5:44
  this, this performance was easily one of the best I've seen
• 5:49
  from him. And I think that's that helped
• 5:53
  make this match as good as it was.
• 5:59
  So for an opening contest, it wasn't, it wasn't too bad.
• 6:03
  It did help set the tone a wee bit, I thought.
• 6:11
  But yeah, it was a really serviceable match.

  Match #2 saw Slambulance, that being Doctor Proctor and Slam
• 6:24
  Johnson. They took on the Tevlin
• 6:28
  brothers, that being Aiden and KJ.
• 6:33
  So I'll take a quick sip and I will give you the notes.

  So Slum uses all his mass at the beginning as the Tevlings run
• 6:46
  into him and try and take him down, which they can't Procter
• 6:52
  and slam. Then perform a double CPR on
• 6:57
  Aiden and KJ. Oh, was that the Nino Nino spot?

  Yeah, that was funny. I love that.
• 7:06
  To which I didn't even hear you and Lindsay doing that until I
• 7:09
  watched the video back earlier. You know what?

  I'm going to change it. I'm not going to call it CPR.

  I'll call it the Nina Nina spot from now on.

  The Tevlins then take over on Doctor Proctor as they keep him
• 7:26
  away from his corner. Aiden chokes Proctor with his
• 7:32
  towel. We then see some really nice
• 7:36
  tandem offence from the Tevlins. One thing we saw that
• 7:41
  unfortunately I didn't manage to capture was KJ leaning kind of
• 7:52
  almost with his head in between the ropes and making a like a
• 7:56
  keeping his back flat on the outside.
• 7:59
  And what it did was allow Aiden to kind of springboard over the
• 8:06
  top rope and kind of just lay on his back and then propelled
• 8:12
  himself back in. So it's it's a kind of like a
• 8:17
  bookshop lariat in a way where he went out the ring, leaned on
• 8:23
  his brother, came back in and kind of had the angle to get
• 8:28
  more power into a lariat, which he performed.
• 8:34
  Slam then gets the hot tag, taking out his other opponents.
• 8:41
  Slam gears up to do a big dive to the outside, which we knew
• 8:45
  was not going to happen, but Proctor instead took the die for
• 8:52
  him. Slam looks done and dusted with
• 8:59
  the Tavians taking him down, but they poked the bear so to speak
• 9:06
  as Aiden slaps him across the face giving Slam Johnson a
• 9:12
  second wind if you like. This leads to slambulence then
• 9:17
  hitting multiple offensive moves, one hitting I think it
• 9:23
  was Slam hits a kind of like a Falcon arrow on KJ.
• 9:30
  Slam goes to cover him. However, he did not know that
• 9:34
  Aiden had done a blind tag and with that it saw Aiden rolling
• 9:41
  up Slam for the 1-2 and the free.

  What was your take on this one? Quite a fun little tag team
• 9:54
  match. Nice to see the Tevelins pick up
• 9:58
  a never win. Yeah, yeah, never win.

  It's been a while. Won their.

  Records. They won.

  Yeah, they lost the last match. So we then came to match #3

  which was Joe Blazer taking on Romi Kendrick.

  So notes I have for this. Romi immediately makes a beeline

  for Joe Blazer then responds with a backdrop.

  Kendrick dives over the top rope to land on Joe.

  We then have Romi slipping a couple of times.

  Oh yeah, he slipped out the ring.

  While on the apron, one of them leading to him kind of holding
• 10:51
  his back in ribs for a couple of seconds.

  And this is where we really get to like the story of this match

  as Blazer just targets the and kind of like kidneys, much like
• 11:08
  he did at the Future Shock Tournament show.

  With the steel chair, yeah. So kind of everything hand back
• 11:18
  to that Joe focuses mostly on from his ribs and kidneys.

  Romney then fires back with a nice clothesline followed by a
• 11:31
  Superman punch and unfortunately then misses a five star frog
• 11:37
  splash. Joe goes straight back to work
• 11:42
  on the back of his opponent, torturing him with a really
• 11:48
  nasty looking Boston crab that he had deep in hits.
• 11:56
  The Blazer Glory only gets 2 counts, but then we have Romy
• 12:04
  hitting a spinebuster with a twisting frog splash because he
• 12:11
  doesn't like to do the normal frog splash, he likes to put a
• 12:14
  bit of A twist to it. Getting the 123 and getting some
• 12:21
  revenge for what happened to him back in December, I think it
• 12:28
  was. Yeah, December, yeah.

  What was your view on this one? It was an all right little
• 12:37
  match. I got you creased up when I
• 12:40
  called Blazer a gammon. Yes, you did.
• 12:43
  I don't know why I decided to call him a gammon, I just
• 12:46
  thought he looks like 1 so it. Was just the randomness of just
• 12:52
  shouting, just shouting gammon at him.

  And I think we all had the same idea.
• 12:59
  Why a gammon? I don't know, I just decided to
• 13:04
  go with what I thought top of my head.

  And God bless you for it. So we moved to match #4 as we

  really get through this show. It was a match that was not
• 13:21
  announced on. Yeah, this was an unannounced
• 13:25
  match which had a very, very, very strange dynamic.

  Yeah, so it was a match that it said Gorgon demanded, and we
• 13:37
  thought Gorgon was going to face another person.
• 13:42
  Turns out it was pretty much punishment for Solomon as he
• 13:49
  took on the Hunter. Bright strong.
• 13:54
  The hunter came out from behind and attacked Solomon.

  Then we saw him hitting some big power moves, hitting a
• 14:05
  spinebuster. Solomon then sits up much like
• 14:11
  Michael Myers, Arcane Undertaker, whichever person you
• 14:15
  would prefer. Both then begin to trade shots
• 14:21
  at each other. Solomon starts to get some
• 14:26
  offence in on his opponent. We see Briak hitting a lovely
• 14:33
  German suplex on his opponent. We then see a kind of like a
• 14:40
  shell shock manoeuvre from strong.
• 14:47
  Solomon then hits a razor's edge, which.
• 14:50
  Oh yeah, that was. An awkward.
• 14:54
  It was impressive. An awkward London, yeah.
• 14:59
  It's almost like he kind of lost his grip.

  When he was, he thought I slipped off Solomon's shoulders.

  Yeah, but it. Looked superb.

  Oh it. Was impressive.

  It was impressive how we had him like literally over his head and

  Brake's not a small man. No, no.

  He is the fact that he held brake over his head like with

  that much height was as long as he did.

  Yeah, he was. He was up there for a good

  minute and a half. Yeah, he went to the outside as

  well because the Brian had him in a submission unlike the the

  railing. So he hits that razor's edge

  outside his edge. Whichever you prefer.

  Strong disappears for about 30 seconds, but you kind of

  gathered where he was going. He then reappears with a chair

  and begins to just wear down the monster.

  Solomon puts him as, as you say in a in a hold.

  Then the kind of fight on the stage.

  Solomon doesn't so much slide down the stairs.

  He almost does like a Pele flip backwards down the stairs.

  Yeah, he gets shoved down the stairs backwards because.

  I don't think they realised how close he was to the stairs to be

  fair, but this, this was just really too kind of like meaty
• 16:50
  men slapping meat. Yeah, very, very strange

  dynamic. Both heal versus heal right?

  Got the like. It got more of the cheers.

  Which she was not happy with, no.

  He shouted. Don't.

  I don't need your applause. And then we just kept chanting

  and then. People even more like cheered

  and clapped him. But it's it's the thing with

  Solomon of he, I think it's going to come to a point where

  he's going to kind of become a fan favourite in a sense.

  I think he is going to turn face soon.

  do with Solomon when he turns face?

  Is he going to take the bandages off?

  Is he going to de mask? I don't think he'll do mask.

  I so. I have said I feel Solomon does

  Because this this is the first match I can recall where there's

  not been him. Like messing with the eye.

  I think he needs to rebrand. Yeah, if if rebrand the mask

  have not like a lucha mask, but like sort of like AI don't know.

  Just something that would. Like a face guard or something

  you can see out of like a hockey mask.

  Yeah, just just something like, I mean, the hockey mask would

  fit in well. Yeah, hockey mask would fit

  Solomon. Yeah, that would fit his

  character very well. So that saw Solomon winning by
• 18:39
  disqualification. Yeah, because Bryant came with a

  chair. Yeah, and then proceeded to beat
• 18:46
  down Solomon after the match. Solomon had it had a rough
• 18:50
  afternoon. Oh.

  Anything that could go wrong did go wrong.

  The last time I saw someone have this much of a bad day, it was

  on a health and safety video called Warehouse Klaus.

  And if you've seen that video, you'll you'll know what I mean.

  This was like the first time you actually felt bad for a heel.

  Yeah, I'd probably go along with that.

  I felt a bit bad for him but then.

  Yeah. It's it's Solomon in the Horde

  and I can't really feel sorry for him.

  I felt sorry for him even though he's in the Horde.

  Yeah, I mean, if you're in the Horde to feel sorry for you.

  Conflicted, I suppose is the best word I can use for that

  match #5 yes. Was supposed to be Joey Hayes.

  versus Danny Hope. Yeah.

  I loved Danny's Thromo in this. So Danny Hope comes to the ring.

  We've seen Danny before the show outside with the arm sling on,

  so he's walked out the union, gone to the shops or whatever.

  This was brilliant. I so Danny comes to the ring,
• 20:18
  cuts a promo saying he's not medically clear to wrestle
• 20:22
  tonight because he's done any damage to his arm.

  He's got the doctor's note, it's been signed off by his mum and
• 20:31
  then me just being me just starts chanting Danny's mum.
• 20:37
  And it gained traction. It even popped Danny himself as
• 20:43
  I watched the clip of him and he was just smiling away.

  There's there's been a couple of times in future shock shows
• 20:54
  where either you or a couple of people have started chants and
• 20:59
  it is ridiculously gained track one of them.

  This was one of them. If only the gammon chant had got
• 21:09
  over more, it would have been fun.

  That would have been fun, Yeah. But yeah, this this was a good
• 21:17
  chant because it, it kept PG. Yeah.

  And it put Danny's mum over I. Mean he can play it back and
• 21:26
  said mum you, you basically everyone was chanting.

  Yeah. So actually, as Miles says, he
• 21:36
  cuts this promo and says you're not facing me, you're facing
• 21:41
  someone that many people are saying is the new Joey Hayes
• 21:48
  turns out to be George Armstrong of the McCarthy Performance
• 21:53
  Centre. I the outcast of the McCarthy
• 21:56
  Performance Centre, the one that's never seen.
• 21:59
  We've seen him once, but then we haven't seen him.
• 22:06
  But on this show he appears a couple of times.
• 22:09
  So whether it's a case of like work or something, he can't
• 22:16
  always be on shows, we don't know.
• 22:22
  But we have seen him in the in the past being involved with
• 22:26
  them. But this is the first time we've
• 22:28
  seen almost that the the full strength squad so to speak.

  Joey starts out the quicker of the two.

  Armstrong fights his way back and puts Joey in a fair bit of
• 22:47
  trouble. Hayes then rallies and hits the
• 22:52
  stop and standing step up kick. Hayes then hits the JKO for the
• 23:03
  match to pick up the victory. Danny Hope, who spent most of
• 23:09
  the time kind of chant talking into the microphone and telling
• 23:15
  Armstrong to get on him and winding the crowd up.
• 23:19
  He then gets in the ring with Hayes up on the rope
• 23:23
  celebrating. Removes the sling super kick on
• 23:30
  Joey. However, as he goes to hit it,
• 23:36
  obviously Joey knows what he is going to do.
• 23:42
  Goes to hit a JKO. Hope escapes the clutches of
• 23:49
  Joey and this match eventually will happen.
• 23:54
  But I think we were. I think we both agree that it
• 23:59
  was a bit too soon to have this kind of match so soon without
• 24:04
  any real build up other than what when he effectively turned
• 24:12
  on his partner and we've seen no build up until they show.
• 24:18
  So just holding off I feel has definitely helped with this feud
• 24:28
  and this match really did has helped the storyline storyline
• 24:33
  go along. I feel because you've had you've
• 24:39
  now had Haze and Hope squaring off and I think we will get like
• 24:44
  a stipulation match for these two.
• 24:47
  It almost feels like you have to with everything that's happened.
• 24:53
  But yeah, yeah, it was a good little match.

  I fought this. Don't know what your take was on
• 24:58
  it. It was all right, more of a
• 25:01
  storyline match. It wasn't focusing on the
• 25:04
  wrestling. I thought it was just a set up.

  It was a settled match. It did its job.

  And then we came to our main event.

  Oh. Boy, what a match a match a.

  Match that didn't promise a whole lot.

  But this match delivered. Delivered.

  Oh my God. So.

  I was in stitches for all of this match so.

  The the main event was a six man tag match and originally they
• 25:46
  had Northwest Strong in Teddy Ray and Chris Ridgway come out.

  Then the O 5 came out and we all look confused because he said it
• 25:59
  was a six man tag and it was two on two.

  What we then realised was it seemed like they even didn't
• 26:12
  know who their tag partners was and it was like a blind third
• 26:18
  man for both teams. So the old Five had Josh Easy,
• 26:26
  no Fresh Strong had Peter Sidor, who from the moment he came out,
• 26:37
  I think it's fair to say I was very happy when I heard his
• 26:41
  music played, even if no one else was at the time.
• 26:46
  I was happy so. As soon as the music played and
• 26:52
  Sidor's names on the graphic devastated having Sidor as their
• 27:02
  tag partner, Ridgeway takes his jacket off, launches it at
• 27:09
  Sidor, who catches it. Didn't wear it though, which I
• 27:17
  thought you should have done Sid.
• 27:20
  Although he's wearing a Cape, it looked like a Cape.
• 27:24
  It was actually a traitors gown. Cloak is the actual term.
• 27:32
  And as he makes his way down to ringside he looks as happy as a
• 27:38
  pig in Maple syrup. So we start this match with both
• 27:48
  members of Northwest Strong in Ray and Ridgeway throwing Sidor
• 27:53
  out the ring and effectively showing tough love to their new
• 27:59
  member of Northwest Sidor. Northwest Sidor.

  Which is pretty much free on to this for most of the contest
• 28:10
  because whatsoever. And you have it where the door's
• 28:18
  out on the floor and Ray's just standing on him and then
• 28:24
  Ridgeway is just kicking him and shoving him and slapping him.
• 28:30
  But the the match itself has Northwest strong members
• 28:35
  targeting the legs of Deck Henry because that's pretty much kind
• 28:42
  of like his. His main thing is speed and take
• 28:45
  away the legs, they're not going to do much.
• 28:49
  The all 5 then turn the tables and have Ray at their mercy as
• 28:55
  Harvey Dukes comes in and immediately starts kicking both
• 29:03
  members in the corner, going back and forth.
• 29:08
  However when he goes to kick, try to read my note when he goes
• 29:14
  to kick Ridgeway again as the door leaps in front of Ridgeway
• 29:20
  and sacrifices himself. This then sees Ray taking the
• 29:26
  legs of Dukes out and having both members of the O 5 kind of
• 29:33
  being neuralised to some degree. Easy comes over to help, then
• 29:40
  takes a snapmare and a stiff boot to the back from Ridgeway
• 29:47
  we're. Snapping right in front of us.
• 29:50
  And was like a gunshot when he kicked him.
• 29:58
  Then we have the moment that's behind me with Teddy Ray face
• 30:04
  down and pretty much out of service at this point.
• 30:09
  Sidor is trying his best to kind of get the crowd on his on his
• 30:14
  side, which they were. Ridgeway does not want to tag in
• 30:21
  Sidor whatsoever, realises he has two options, go it alone or
• 30:29
  tag in Sidor. Try to revive Teddy.
• 30:33
  Yeah, he tries a few things to try and get Teddy going.
• 30:37
  Teddy not there at all. He tags in the Canadian
• 30:44
  Superstar. To a huge.
• 30:47
  Oh, massive pop. Huge pop.
• 30:53
  Sal Sidor comes in momentum fully on his team.
• 30:56
  Is this where he hit the Canadian?
• 30:59
  No, we haven't come to that. Bit yet?

  Oh my God that that was brilliant.
• 31:03
  When? He's tagged in, starts kind of
• 31:10
  giving like showing emotion of to say I'm ready, I'm ready to
• 31:16
  go, and then proceeds just get beat up by every member of the
• 31:22
  opposing team. Then we have Ridgeway and Dukes
• 31:28
  trading back and forth, boots to the back.
• 31:34
  Siddall then gets tagged back in, I think it's by Ridgeway and
• 31:40
  at this point we see Northwest strong walk off, leaving Sidor
• 31:44
  on his own for a free on one handicap near enough.
• 31:51
  And it looks at this point it's it's inevitable what's going to
• 31:55
  happen. Sidor is going to go 16 and O.
• 32:01
  However, Sidor then proceeds to look like he's going to pull off
• 32:09
  a miracle as he hits a Canadian destroyer on Harvey Dukes.
• 32:17
  Then hits. I'm calling it the fall of Troy.
• 32:21
  I know it's the F5 but I'm calling it the fall of Troy on
• 32:26
  deck Henry. Then just as the free is about
• 32:32
  to be hit by the referee, both Ridgway and Teddy come back in
• 32:37
  and kicks the door away to stop him from winning the match for
• 32:41
  his team or their team. Even then they leave the the
• 32:47
  ring waving and just watching him from the stage area.
• 32:53
  Sado doesn't know what's what's happening and as he turns
• 32:58
  around, yeah. It's a super big.
• 33:01
  Party effectively Dukes then hits a beautiful springboard
• 33:09
  cutter and the one, the two and the three but in.
• 33:21
  In truth, the MVP of this match was Peter Sadour.
• 33:27
  The the humour and the comedy value that Sidor brings to any
• 33:36
  match, whether it's in the ring or out the ring.
• 33:40
  It was amazing. It's I've never known a match
• 33:48
  where one person who should not be getting this cheered in truth
• 33:57
  was the biggest fan favourite in the whole match.
• 34:04
  More so than it wasn't even the wrestling ability, it was the
• 34:09
  whole character and demeanour that Sidor was showing off to
• 34:19
  it. We've we've had moments with
• 34:21
  Sidor where he'll like shout at kids and tell him that the daddy
• 34:27
  doesn't love him, things like that, which I find so funny.
• 34:34
  But this was the first time where he didn't really chat with
• 34:41
  the fans as much during a match. It was more his how he kind of
• 34:48
  like his facials and everything, his body language and everything
• 34:54
  in this match, it was just comedic.
• 34:58
  It was just funny and I think it was the thing of, I mean, we
• 35:04
  could be biassed because we had a decent like section behind us
• 35:09
  as well because you had you, me, John, Lindsay, Dean, Samuel and
• 35:19
  within our little group we were just cheering for say door,
• 35:25
  which probably wasn't what they were wanting, but that's what.
• 35:29
  They got, that's what they got, yeah.
• 35:33
  To which if it was the same again, we should have brought
• 35:35
  like little signs that just said like say door section or
• 35:38
  something like that. I'm cheering for him on Sunday.

  Oh, I've got the shirt. I've got the shirt ready to go
• 35:47
  on Sunday wherever they want to or not.

  But here's here's hoping we don't see O in the 17.

  We hopefully we see one in the 16.
