- 0:16yourselves, because it could be a wild ride.
- 0:21Welcome to rad cast. We are the wives wive.
- 0:24Takeover. Woo.
- 0:26I am Natalie. I am the wife of Shane.
- 0:29And I'm Sam, the wife of Nathan or Nate, I don't know.
- 0:33Do they call? You do.
- 0:34They I say Nate, yeah. Nathan sounds very formal.
- 0:37Yeah, whenever I'm trying to get his attention, I say Nathan, but
- 0:42he doesn't listen to me anymore. He ignores me, usually just
- 0:48zones me out. Well, story of my life.
- 0:52True facts. Well, I think we're doing this
- 0:57'cause we're just way funnier than the guys.
- 1:00One, we are way funnier. 2, We're going to try our hardest,
- 1:03not for you guys to like us more than the guys, but we can't make
- 1:07any promises. No promises, but they're not
- 1:10available, and we want to make sure that we're still putting
- 1:14episodes out there. Yeah, getting episodes out there
- 1:16so you guys can hear what we all have to say.
- 1:18Yeah, yeah. And we have really good stories
- 1:21to tell. We do have good stories to tell,
- 1:23not all in one episode, but we do have.
- 1:25Some good stories. So maybe we'll get more episodes
- 1:27of us. I hope so.
- 1:29And maybe we just officially take over.
- 1:31Yes. Competition, Competition.
- 1:35Like a little friendly competition with the guys.
- 1:38Yeah, well I hope you guys like our setup.
- 1:41Yes, so little Dolly inspo. Yes, I really think that we
- 1:46should do a poll on our social media to see if Dolly stays.
- 1:50Dolly even with. Even with the guys, I think
- 1:52Dolly should stay. I think she's a great reminder
- 1:55that we're the best ones. Yeah, so we're gonna put a poll
- 2:00out. Yep, Yeah, be on the lookout for
- 2:02that. Yeah, and whether they lose or
- 2:04win will probably somehow sneak her in.
- 2:06Yes, yeah. Yes, I agree.
- 2:08So. Yeah, So, Sam, what's been going
- 2:10on? Oh, not a whole lot, you know.
- 2:12Yeah, just. Hanging out together a lot
- 2:15lately. Yes, yes.
- 2:16Every weekend, it seems. And a couple times a week, yes.
- 2:20Yep, especially when Nate's gone cuz Nate travels a lot for work
- 2:24and the kids aren't always at home with me either.
- 2:26So sometimes I don't get lonely but I do get bored.
- 2:29I'm like, you know? What, and you don't want to cook
- 2:30your own dinner? I don't want to cook my own
- 2:32dinner so. I.
- 2:34Just show up with a hungry mouth belly.
- 2:38Both. You know.
- 2:39Yeah, and you steal my snacks. I do steal your snacks.
- 2:41I have my own basket. She does.
- 2:43This is the yellow basket. It's the yellow basket and my
- 2:46blue basket is for eggs. Yes, if your chickens ever start
- 2:49producing. Well, I mean more chickens you
- 2:51do need and I was supposed to get more chickens from Kim, my
- 2:54sister-in-law, but I don't know what happened there.
- 2:55I I spaced on that. Yeah, you just never.
- 2:58I never picked them up, but I will get more chickens.
- 3:01My chickens look like they're knocking on death's door right
- 3:03now. They are like molting like their
- 3:07feathers are. I don't know.
- 3:11They've seen better days. They're traumatized.
- 3:14They look like crack chickens. You really should go take a look
- 3:18at them. But you know, they're hanging
- 3:22on. They're how long have we had
- 3:24them for a couple years. Now it has to be a couple years,
- 3:27'cause you've been here, what now?
- 3:283-4 years. Three years.
- 3:30Three years. Me and Shane were in Indiana for
- 3:32four years before we moved back to Arizona.
- 3:35Born and raised 'cause he went to line school to become a
- 3:38journeyman lineman. And I loved Indiana, the
- 3:41openness. So we decided when we were going
- 3:44to move back, it was going to be Whitman.
- 3:46I did not want to live in a subdivision anymore.
- 3:49I did not want to be close to my neighbors.
- 3:50I love my neighbors but I needed space and that's why I did not
- 3:55understand why you guys were trying to build in a subdivision
- 3:58'cause you love land just as much as we.
- 4:00Do 'cause we looked at so many and I never really thought that
- 4:05we would ever do it. I was feeling like we weren't
- 4:07finding houses that like. Like spoke to.
- 4:11You. Yeah, they didn't spark joy
- 4:13yeah. You know, and I didn't want to
- 4:14just buy just to buy. It needs to spark some joy and.
- 4:17Well, I'm glad you copycatted me.
- 4:20Same. So we have Nate and I.
- 4:22When we found our house, I was walking through it and I said
- 4:25this house seems very familiar to me.
- 4:29And then I was like, wait, at same floor plan as ours.
- 4:32Yeah, it's the same. Your house.
- 4:33It's literally your house. I mean, there's some
- 4:36differences, little differences. Some like cut outs here and
- 4:39there, yeah. Yeah, but no, it's the same
- 4:41house. And so what's really great is if
- 4:44you know you're at the furniture store, you can call me and say,
- 4:48hey. Many, many times have I texted.
- 4:51You what are the dimensions? Can you measure your kitchen
- 4:54please? And if something goes wrong in
- 4:57my kitchen, you give me a call, IEI give you a call and say,
- 5:01hey, where is your GFI so I can reset it because I'm struggling
- 5:07to find it. And yeah, that worked out.
- 5:09That was good. Yeah, and we figured from our
- 5:12house to your house is a song and 1/2.
- 5:14It is a song and a half song and 1/2.
- 5:15So we jam out for a song and a half before we get there.
- 5:18Yes. But yeah, we've we've been
- 5:19hanging out lately. What did we do last?
- 5:21Was it last weekend? We went to brunch.
- 5:23We did go to lunch. We.
- 5:25Did remix. We went to Jojo's coffee house
- 5:33in Scottsdale. It was so good.
- 5:35It was not the best coffee. No they don't.
- 5:37So I I feel like they should take coffee house out at their
- 5:41because their coffee was not great.
- 5:42But their mimosas though. They were the pineapple one that
- 5:46was like a. Dole Whip.
- 5:47It tasted like a Dole Whip with alcohol.
- 5:49I was very inspired by that one. That one was good, and I'm not a
- 5:52big pineapple person, but that was good.
- 5:54It was very good. Yeah, I was, I was a big fan.
- 5:56I could have done without like the little frosting or whatever
- 5:59that they put on top of. It.
- 6:00Oh yeah, yeah. Getting past that was a little
- 6:03difficult. Yeah, there are little spills
- 6:05here in there. The food was good, the vibes
- 6:07were good. And at towards the end of our
- 6:10breakfast, brunch, lunch, 'cause the wait time got us there, we
- 6:15sat down probably like at 11:30. Yeah, we ran into Theo Campbell.
- 6:21I'm still just like Bangarling. Yes, he is such a gentleman.
- 6:27He was a gentleman. He was so cool.
- 6:29I would I could sit down and just listen to him talk all day.
- 6:33Me. Too, But you really like 'cause
- 6:34he got to. You have to focus on his mouth.
- 6:37Yeah, 'cause when he gets to go on that accent, 'cause he's
- 6:40British, that accent like kicks it.
- 6:43And me and Sam at some point were just like, what?
- 6:47Follow his lips, Follow his lips, and then you walk over.
- 6:50But the way you introduced your, you walk over, you're like, Oh
- 6:54my God, you're a giant. It's like.
- 6:56Word vomit. I was just like, I don't.
- 6:58I knew that he was tall but like you only see him on TV.
- 7:02Also, we should back up Theo Campbell's from the challenge.
- 7:05Yes, MTV challenges. Wasn't he on Love Island?
- 7:08Isn't that where he started? Feel like he was on.
- 7:10He had to have been on a dating show.
- 7:11It was some dating show. I can't remember, but I only
- 7:14know him from the challenges. The challenges, yeah.
- 7:18But he started from some dating show.
- 7:20I'm pretty sure a. Lot of them.
- 7:23Do 'cause they don't have Rd. rules in real world anymore,
- 7:26which is so. Lame.
- 7:28I feel like they should kind of bring it back.
- 7:29They should. Things are so different now
- 7:31that. I think Jersey Shore took that
- 7:33over and everyone's like on that, but I really think they
- 7:35should bring it back. I loved watching it.
- 7:38It was. It was chaos at its finest.
- 7:40Oh yeah and I love watching trashy shows like that.
- 7:43Me too, they're super. Fun.
- 7:44Yeah, I just throw it on, fold my 800 baskets of laundry that
- 7:50that never seemed to end. Yeah.
- 7:53But yeah, I, I, he was such a gentleman.
- 7:56He was pretty cool. He engaged in conversation with
- 7:59us. He just, he actually.
- 8:00Started the conversation, 'cause I, it was like, I you go up to
- 8:04somebody that you've seen on TV before and I don't ever know how
- 8:08to go about asking for a picture.
- 8:10I'm like, Oh my gosh. Hi.
- 8:11Yeah. Do you mind if we get a picture
- 8:13with you? Yeah, and he was.
- 8:15He was like, yeah. He's cool and then no problem.
- 8:18No problem. I.
- 8:20Don't have lives here too. Lives here too, but she's not
- 8:23here. Yeah, she is five months
- 8:25pregnant. She looks beautiful.
- 8:27She does. She does.
- 8:28Yeah. I did not look that beautiful at
- 8:30five months. I was hating her.
- 8:33You would not see me in full face makeup, hair blowout.
- 8:36No. Especially and they had gone to
- 8:38Morgan Wallin the night. Before oh heck no, I would not
- 8:40go to a concert at 5 months pregnant.
- 8:42I would be miserable. It was a missed opportunity to
- 8:46be like, hey, do you want to come on the podcast?
- 8:48Since he lives here, He lives out in Scottsdale.
- 8:51And I didn't think of it until later, but I was like, 'cause
- 8:55that would be really cool to get, you know, somebody of his
- 8:58caliber to go on like a show like ours.
- 9:00Because we're not super big. Yet no, we're not.
- 9:02You know what I mean? So I think it would be really.
- 9:04Cool, but we're about to go viral with us.
- 9:06Yeah. But yeah, that'd be cool to have
- 9:10him come on and just talk about the Challenge.
- 9:13Like we are such super fans of the Challenge.
- 9:15We have been. I've been watching since like
- 9:17Season 1. I was gonna say same like I just
- 9:20re watched a couple years ago from season 1 even.
- 9:25Like was it season 1 or did I start like Rd. rules?
- 9:28I can't even remember but I went all the way through up to like
- 9:31the most recent season. I like doing that every once in
- 9:34a while. It's nice to see like how they
- 9:36all grow. Up and stuff like that.
- 9:38My favorites are like DM, who was the guy she was dating CT
- 9:45Johnny Bananas. Yeah, those are my favorite
- 9:47seasons. But yeah, Shane and I did the
- 9:49same thing. We started, we didn't start from
- 9:51season 1. We kind of just like picked one
- 9:53in the middle. I think we started like season
- 9:5510, Yeah. And kept going.
- 9:57But yeah, they're they're good. They're good.
- 9:59Those are. TJ 'cause I don't like the
- 10:00earlier seasons where TJ is not the host.
- 10:04Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. TJ like if TJ can't be the host,
- 10:06then they can't do any more of the challenges.
- 10:09He makes the he. Makes the.
- 10:12Challenge he does, he's hilarious.
- 10:14I love his laugh. So it's so weird, but I'm just I
- 10:20can't look away. It's like a.
- 10:22It makes me laugh. It's contagious.
- 10:24And then like trivia, he does that.
- 10:26I Trivia. Is my trivia's my favorite where
- 10:28they have to fall from 100 story building?
- 10:31Well, just listening to some of them, like some of the questions
- 10:34and then them not knowing the answers.
- 10:37You know what I mean? So those are pretty hilarious.
- 10:39I wouldn't be any better, you know what I mean?
- 10:42Like TJ would for sure be laughing at me.
- 10:45I probably would be out episode 1.
- 10:51There's no way. Immediately eliminated.
- 10:52Immediately eliminated. I have talked to one of my
- 10:56friends before about how they should do like a non reality
- 11:02cast, yeah, or have like vets versus non reality cast or
- 11:06whatever. Because like, I don't know how I
- 11:08would train for the challenge, but I think it would be fun.
- 11:10I I would be terrible. I would be terrible at the
- 11:13social game. Oh yeah, sorry.
- 11:15It's like, Oh yeah, I'd be terrible.
- 11:18I love you, but Oh yeah. My social gameplay would be
- 11:22terrible. Like, not that I can't, you
- 11:24know, be social, but like, the politics, yeah.
- 11:26I would be terrible, but with that, Yeah.
- 11:28But like the challenges itself and like the the eliminations
- 11:32and stuff puzzles, no. I think I'd be really good at
- 11:35the politics of it. I think he would.
- 11:37But the challenge is I'd be like, yeah, I'm not doing that.
- 11:39We'd be. We would make great, yes.
- 11:42We would be good teammates. So if they have teammates, don't
- 11:45pick me, 'cause we'll be out Episode 1, find somebody else,
- 11:52'cause I'm out, I'm out. The second we have to drink some
- 11:54sludge, I'm gonna be like. And TJ hates a quitter.
- 11:59Would you hate me? Yeah, you have to make it to
- 12:03like the final or like the middle of the season before he
- 12:05makes you drink sludge. So.
- 12:07I feel like that's like. I just couple my stomach is
- 12:10turning just thinking about all the shit that he makes them.
- 12:12Eat and drink. I mean, somebody has to test it
- 12:16though to make sure you don't get sick, right?
- 12:18So whoever the tester is, good for you because.
- 12:22But I would hate to let TJ down, so I would.
- 12:25I would fight till the death. Yeah, no, I'm out.
- 12:28You know. My bags would be packed every
- 12:30day like it's my time. You would.
- 12:33Get voted into eliminations every.
- 12:36And I'm not leaving. I'd be like what the hell, man?
- 12:40You just keep. You keep.
- 12:41Winning, they keep me around so someone can win at the end,
- 12:43'cause you're I'm not going. Gosh, what do they call it?
- 12:48You're their A. Scapegoat.
- 12:51No, gosh damn it. What do they call it?
- 12:53What do they call the? I don't.
- 12:55Know. I can't remember.
- 12:57It's gonna come to me like later and I'm gonna text you in all.
- 12:59Caps yes, you will. But yeah, so running into Theo,
- 13:04that was. Pretty cool.
- 13:05We don't ever run into famous people.
- 13:07No. And then we went to breakfast
- 13:08again. Yesterday weekend we went to
- 13:12Copper and Sage and I want to just shout it out because one,
- 13:15they don't do any kind of like they don't do marketing.
- 13:19No they don't. It's all.
- 13:20Word of mouth and our bartender Shout out to our bartender
- 13:23Chris. He was awesome.
- 13:24He. Remembered his name?
- 13:25I did because he wrote it on the receipt and I'm wondering if he
- 13:30did that on purpose. Yeah, 'cause.
- 13:33He made fun of me, he did. He did, he goes.
- 13:34I already gave you my name. I'm not giving it to you.
- 13:36He was, he was pretty cool. He.
- 13:38Was really cool. He's he walked in on some.
- 13:41Conversation about pigs humping but all he heard probably was
- 13:45humping and Natalie goes we're talking about pigs I.
- 13:48Had to put it out there and it was he's like, it doesn't matter
- 13:52to me. I'm a bartender.
- 13:53I hear all. Sorts of stories, he says.
- 13:55I'm not allowed to judge. It's my job not to judge.
- 13:57But he was awesome. He was cool.
- 13:58He was really cool. The food was really good.
- 14:00The food was great, the vibes were great.
- 14:02So Copper and Sage in Goodyear were like, like for some sort of
- 14:05content creator foodie people, but we're foodies, but we're not
- 14:10that. Don't follow us for that.
- 14:12No 'cause you're gonna get a smorgasboard of different posts,
- 14:16so don't. Don't rely on us for that, just.
- 14:19But it was really fun, it was good atmosphere, it was gorgeous
- 14:22inside. I loved it.
- 14:25The green reminds me of my living room, but like with the
- 14:27golden black accents, it was so. I was obsessed with the way that
- 14:30they had it laid out. It was really.
- 14:32Really, it almost looked like when you walked into the side
- 14:34was like a waiting area, but it was just like nice fun couch
- 14:38seating area. It was just.
- 14:40Elegant. It looked elegant but casual.
- 14:43And it's like, it's a scratch kitchen.
- 14:45They make everything fresh. Yeah.
- 14:48And it was and. You could tell it was really
- 14:49yummy. It was everything was homemade,
- 14:52fresh. It was so good.
- 14:54I will be back. I would go back.
- 14:55I would, yeah. But now we have to like, plan
- 14:58another brunch because we have a whole list of places that we
- 15:01need to. Go, we do.
- 15:02But copper and sage we will return.
- 15:04We will return. I kind of want to go for dinner
- 15:06because they only do brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
- 15:08Yeah, yeah. I would love to go back and see
- 15:10what that menu is like. We could do copper and sage for
- 15:13dinner and then go next door to the story.
- 15:15If we ever go back for brunch, you're driving.
- 15:18Like, oh. Because that mimosa man.
- 15:20Oh my gosh, they have a big ass mimosa and it's half a bottle
- 15:23of. Champagne.
- 15:24It is insane. And honestly, I didn't think it
- 15:27was very expensive for the. It.
- 15:29Was 10 bucks for a big ass mimosa.
- 15:31Yeah, and I feel like at one point, at one point I'm smacking
- 15:35my lips, 'cause I can't feel them.
- 15:36They're numb. I'm like.
- 15:37You said you went to the bathroom and you're like, I felt
- 15:39like I was. Yeah, I got up to go to the
- 15:40bathroom and I was like, man, I feel like I'm walking on air
- 15:43right now. I felt really good.
- 15:45You're like, yeah, yeah. Glad you're driving.
- 15:51It was a good time. I really considered it, but then
- 15:54when he said half a bottle of champagne, I was like, well, I'm
- 15:59we're gonna have like Chris is just gonna have to hang out with
- 16:01us all day because there's no way we.
- 16:04Would have to stay for lunch. And maybe dinner and to yeah,
- 16:08yeah, to sober up. 'Cause I don't think I sobered
- 16:11up until we went to Cal Ranch and walked around a little bit.
- 16:14I was still like, well, this is good times.
- 16:17Yeah, it was a good time. Though it was a good.
- 16:23Time. Yeah, we went with our, well, my
- 16:26sister in law's. Yes, my cousins.
- 16:28Your cousins? They're fun.
- 16:30They are fun, yeah. So usually once a year we try to
- 16:34plan a brunch together and it's been probably a couple years
- 16:39since we did one. But this was my first one with
- 16:41you guys and Shane wanted to know why I was attending.
- 16:46He was all going like, no, it's just going to be Kim, Ashley and
- 16:49Sam. Well, why is Sam going, 'cause I
- 16:52invited her. Kyle Lee.
- 16:54I know. Wow, like.
- 16:57Well, don't worry if you go. I told you guys don't.
- 17:00I don't want to go on the next one when it's everybody because
- 17:04Shane's not going to want me there, even though Shane will
- 17:06not be attending. You'll you'll be there.
- 17:09You're going for a different reasons.
- 17:11You're going, you're going to be there.
- 17:17You're not leaving me. No.
- 17:19Well, you got to hang out with your family.
- 17:24Do I? I'm just.
- 17:29Kidding. Oh man.
- 17:31Well, goodness, well, I I sorry, I had something in my brain and
- 17:36then it. You got to put the mic closer.
- 17:38I know, I'm sorry. I keep moving.
- 17:40I feel like it sounds better when I'm sitting right to this
- 17:43side, but then when I do this I feel like it's not good and then
- 17:45when I do this it doesn't sound good so.
- 17:47No, you have. OK, Stay on the side.
- 17:50People are trying to listen to the things you have to say, Sam.
- 17:53I know, I'm sorry. Golly.
- 17:56Let's I want to talk about you for a second.
- 17:57Oh Lord. Because you've got 4 kids.
- 18:01Stay at home, mom. There's always something funny
- 18:03going on with you. Oh.
- 18:04Lord, so last night let me tell you a story.
- 18:07I was making rice in the rice cooker, OK?
- 18:10And I got this rice cooker from my best friend and I've never
- 18:13really used it before so I don't know what I'm doing.
- 18:16I'm just hoping I don't mess up the rice.
- 18:18So I, it has to like depressurize or whatever.
- 18:23So there's like a vent and I'm trying to hurry up the process
- 18:26because it's 7:30 at night. The kids are hungry.
- 18:28So I'm holding it with my finger to keep it open So the, the
- 18:32steam comes out and Shane's like, don't do that.
- 18:34And I'm like, why? And he's like, use a spoon to do
- 18:36it so your arm's not over the the rice cooker.
- 18:38I'm like, why 'cause what if it explodes?
- 18:40I'm like, I think my arm is the least of my worries.
- 18:43I'd be dead if it exploded. There'd be bolts and stuff in
- 18:47me. And he just looks at me and I
- 18:49didn't know Drake was standing next to me when I said all that.
- 18:52Drake's your youngest. Drake's my youngest, He's 8.
- 18:54And he goes, I don't want rice anymore, I don't want you to
- 18:57die. And I was like, Oh my God, I'm
- 19:00not gonna die, sorry. And he was like, if it's this
- 19:04dangerous making rice, let's just not make it like, no.
- 19:08That's when you why don't you just use minute rice?
- 19:11I am a big fan. I I don't know.
- 19:13I don't know. I make a lot of rice.
- 19:15So we have. You.
- 19:17Have to like let it cool down and then put it in the mic or in
- 19:20the refrigerator because of bacteria growth or whatever.
- 19:24But I make a lot of rice and then we use it for the next day.
- 19:27It never sits more than a day in my.
- 19:29I was gonna say. I swear, like leftovers at your
- 19:32house go can last for quite a while.
- 19:35Yeah, yeah, I make a lot of food.
- 19:37I don't know how to not cook for like an army.
- 19:39Also that red sauce that you just gave me telling everybody
- 19:43right now, now they should have her own jars of red sauce
- 19:47because the the one that you just did the the tomato one, the
- 19:51tomato based one. Yeah, it.
- 19:54Was I boiled tomatoes, all that good stuff, smashed them down.
- 19:59So when I brought it home, I made myself lunch the next day
- 20:02and I just did like just noodles with the sauce.
- 20:05And then I had made a pasta, I don't know, a day or two later
- 20:08with a white sauce like in our I normally will do just white
- 20:10sauces. And the next day we had that
- 20:14pasta for lunch and there was a little bit of the red sauce left
- 20:18and we mixed it. That's a good.
- 20:21One, it was so yummy, Yeah, but the boys are gonna make fun of
- 20:25me because every time I every I'm like talking about something
- 20:27being good. I'm like, it was so good.
- 20:30Yeah, she makes fun of you. Yeah, so does Nate.
- 20:32And anytime I say yeah, yeah. Yeah, and I, well, I appreciate
- 20:36it. I love making big Italian
- 20:38spreads. That's what I grew up on.
- 20:40My mom and sister would always make big Italian dinners.
- 20:44Yeah, I mean, I think that's just my love language too, like
- 20:47my family and friends. When I make big Italian dinners,
- 20:50that's like, I love you guys eat my food.
- 20:52I'm. Appreciative of it because it is
- 20:53so good. She makes homemade meatballs,
- 20:57homemade nudes. Yeah, Noodles.
- 21:01I I try to avoid other nudes. Yeah.
- 21:05As we should. But yeah, noodles, noodles are
- 21:07fun. Those are easy to make too.
- 21:09And I, I get the kids in on it to make it because Drake thinks
- 21:12it's a volcano and he has fun mixing it.
- 21:15So. But yeah, I also tried to get
- 21:17Hayden to cook dinner with me one time, 'cause I'm like, you
- 21:20need to learn. You're 14.
- 21:22You need to learn how to make some food.
- 21:23Like, what are you going to do when you're married and your
- 21:25husband wants food? And you know what she said to
- 21:27me? He can make it himself.
- 21:29Oh. My God.
- 21:31It's like, well, good luck being married, love.
- 21:35Boy, our kids, Tyler and Kayla, so they've been in like they
- 21:41went up north to NAU for school and they were living on their
- 21:43own and there was a whole bat scandal in their dorm.
- 21:46So they actually got so they got to move out into an apartment
- 21:50and they had their own kitchen and.
- 21:53Real bats, people. It wasn't just like a scandal.
- 21:55No, no, These are real bats living inside the dorm.
- 21:59It was infested. Yeah.
- 22:00Infestation of. And it was in their dorm, and
- 22:03every student in this dorm was moved into an apartment.
- 22:07Luxury apartments, by the way. Luxury apartment, they were
- 22:11nice. Yeah, you said they all each got
- 22:13their own room. All their their own room.
- 22:15They each had their own bathroom.
- 22:17They were in a four bedroom. That's 4 bathroom.
- 22:19Where can. I get a four bedroom apartment
- 22:21nowadays. I don't.
- 22:22Those don't really. And it was a decent size like
- 22:24the the kitchen was beautiful at like quartz.
- 22:27Counterparts. Well, I'm sure they appreciated
- 22:29the bat infestations. Yeah, I think yeah, it was a
- 22:31blessing and a curse all at once cause Kayla like 2 weeks in was
- 22:34like, I don't want to be in a dorm with these boys anymore.
- 22:38Like I'm sure it was messy and smelly and dirty 'cause I live
- 22:42with my husband and he's messy and two boys and my 2 deuces.
- 22:46Deuce, Deuce Deuce. Drake's nickname is Deuce, and
- 22:49that can be a story for another. Yeah, Drake Deuces Flores.
- 22:52If you ever meet him or see him, ask him about it.
- 22:55He loves talking about it. He sure does.
- 22:58Yeah. But Kayla, like, as she got
- 23:01older, she was helping us cook a lot and stuff like that.
- 23:03And she wants to like make sure she has the actual measurements.
- 23:07And if it's something I'm comfortable making, I don't
- 23:10really use measurements. I measure with my heart.
- 23:12I let my ancestors speak to me. Yeah, And she was helping me
- 23:17make something one day. And she was like, OK, well, how
- 23:21much? I think we're making egg salad.
- 23:22Yeah. And she's like, all right.
- 23:24How much like paprika do you put in it?
- 23:25And I was like, just a little little dashes.
- 23:28Yeah, but how much? And I'm like, you just dash it.
- 23:32And then like, if you like the way that it looks on top of the
- 23:34egg salad, then that's good. And she goes, We should make a
- 23:37cookbook. Oh my God, everyone says I
- 23:39should make a cookbook. I'm like I don't have
- 23:41measurements. Oh no, you do it the way that
- 23:43you would like explain it to somebody.
- 23:45So with her, 'cause like sometimes I'm like you do a
- 23:47little. A little razzle dazzle on top.
- 23:49Yeah, just that's what I and then like a little flop a.
- 23:53Little Shane gets so mad though, 'cause he's like, I need your
- 23:55help cooking and I'm like, OK, well, he's like, how much of
- 23:58this do I use? I'm like, I don't know, just a
- 24:00just a little bit of that. What is a little bit of that?
- 24:03I'm like, I don't, I don't know, just.
- 24:05But I make sound effects I'm like, so I have to.
- 24:07I'm like just at all do that. He's like, what is that?
- 24:12I don't know, maybe maybe a tablespoon, maybe more, maybe
- 24:15less. I don't know.
- 24:17Put some in there, we'll figure it out.
- 24:18Yeah, I'm like, I really, I truly don't know.
- 24:20Like garlic. You can never have too much
- 24:22garlic. I use a lot of garlic.
- 24:24Sometimes and cheese like. You could never have too much
- 24:28cheese. Yeah, no cheese is a good one.
- 24:30I love putting cheese and everything.
- 24:32The only thing you really got to worry about is like liquids.
- 24:34Yeah. 'Cause then like.
- 24:35You can't take it out. You just have to keep adding and
- 24:38then you might just have a bunch of liquid.
- 24:40The thing the girls really like to do is bake because there's
- 24:43measurements. And me and my best friend were
- 24:45talking about this. My best friend Jamie, she was
- 24:49making a big spread for her sister's graduation or going off
- 24:53to college, something like that. And we were saying like, we
- 24:56don't like to bake. We hate baking because she had
- 24:59to bake a cake. She's like, I don't measure, I
- 25:00don't measure. I don't know ingredients.
- 25:02I'm like, well, the girls are coming over.
- 25:04Just make, just have them bake the cake because they like to
- 25:06measure. They need to know like exact
- 25:09measurements. Baking them that way I I can't.
- 25:11I love to bake but I have to have exact measurements when I'm
- 25:15baking because they're for some. Well there is a reason.
- 25:18I say for some reason it's this way but I don't know why.
- 25:21But anyways, you have to be exact with baking or else it
- 25:25truly sucks. It does, and that's why I hate
- 25:27baking. Didn't Peyton, Oh.
- 25:30My God, she put salt instead of sugar into her cupcakes and I
- 25:36bit into it and I was like. Wasn't there like a lot of
- 25:39butter in the frosting? When she tried to make a
- 25:41buttercream frosting, she used like 4 sticks of butter and no
- 25:47powder sugar. Like she literally just whipped,
- 25:49but it was whipped butter on top.
- 25:51And she kept whipping the butter because it will get thick.
- 25:54Yeah. And at one point me and my and
- 25:58best friend Andrea from Indiana had come into town and we took a
- 26:01bite of it and we were just like honey, this is did you not put
- 26:06sugar in the butter? And she's like, oh, I forgot
- 26:08that have. You ever seen?
- 26:12I've seen grown-ups, too. Yeah, like the little boy.
- 26:14He's like, this is the greatest vanilla pudding I've ever had.
- 26:16Yeah. No, it's butter, son.
- 26:19Yeah, yeah, Peyton, she's like, it tastes great to me, but she.
- 26:26But she will walk around with just a plain piece of bread.
- 26:29Oh my God. That's and.
- 26:30But Peyton is my 12 year old and since she was born, that girl
- 26:33has lived off of carbs. She loves carbs.
- 26:36We were in Indiana and we went to the spaghetti factory out
- 26:40there and you know how like, you know, Italian dinners, they
- 26:44bring like baskets of bread, right?
- 26:45So we had just got done eating. There's still a basket like a
- 26:49loaf of bread. It's probably like a good 6 foot
- 26:54bread loaf still there. And I left it 'cause I'm like,
- 26:57you know, we're right. We don't have any leftover.
- 27:01We're good. Like, let's just go.
- 27:02So I, you know, me as a mom, as the kids are walking out, I
- 27:05count heads to make sure I have them all.
- 27:07I'm like, all right, how many do I got?
- 27:09I go to count Peyton. And this girl is just walking
- 27:12out with the loaf of bread in her hand with the happy ass can
- 27:16be chowing on it. And I was like, Peyton, what are
- 27:19you doing? She's like, you paid for it,
- 27:20right? I'm like, what?
- 27:22Yeah, that's a whole loaf of bread.
- 27:25She's like, I'm gonna eat it on the way home.
- 27:27She ate every last piece of this bread on the way home, and she
- 27:31was fine. She was like, that was great.
- 27:33And there's a picture I have of her.
- 27:35I think she's four. We were on our way somewhere and
- 27:40she's got this cute little sun hat on, and her face just looks
- 27:44like a monster eating a biscuit in the car, and she's attacking
- 27:48this biscuit. She always has bread.
- 27:50She loves bread. Mac and cheese is her jam.
- 27:53I mean that just she's a carb baby.
- 27:55I mean, I and she loves bread, but she's the skinniest little
- 27:59thing. She's got like a little 6 pack
- 28:02going on. I'm like, what the heck, man?
- 28:04I eat bread and I'm like bloated.
- 28:06Yeah, yeah. No.
- 28:07Not her. No.
- 28:08She's like walking around with her bread.
- 28:11Fit as a fiddle. She's just doing her little line
- 28:14dances. Lion dancing has become a big
- 28:17part of our lives. Yep, I got you guys into it too.
- 28:19You sure? Did I just learned another one?
- 28:22Kayla and I are talking about when she's home.
- 28:25We're gonna learn one to two new ones depending on the
- 28:28difficulty. Yeah.
- 28:30So. Let us know when you do that and
- 28:32we'll come over. You're just down the road.
- 28:34We can. Well, so Sam text me Kayla and I
- 28:37learned Fuego your turn and I was like challenge accepted.
- 28:41Except she never learned. I never learned it.
- 28:43But the girls got up, learned it in like maybe 5 minutes and
- 28:48Shane was just like, I don't understand how you guys can just
- 28:52pick up. Dance moves.
- 28:54Hey, I danced. I danced all throughout high
- 28:56school. I love to dance.
- 28:57I used to choreograph like. Peyton made her own line dance.
- 29:01Oh, did she? She did.
- 29:02She choreographed her own line dance.
- 29:04So. She to what song?
- 29:07Does it not matter? I don't know.
- 29:08I don't remember. It was a while ago, but she
- 29:09showed me and Hayden and Shane and we were just staring at her
- 29:12like, OK, wow. I mean, it was, it looked like a
- 29:15complex dance too. It wasn't just like a electric
- 29:19slide type of line dance. Like she had some spins in there
- 29:23and like, it was because I thought it was a legit line
- 29:26dance. She's like, no, I made this up.
- 29:27I put it together. I'm like, oh wow.
- 29:30Speaking of the Electric Slide, do you remember Natalie and I
- 29:34taught an entire generation older than us?
- 29:38Yeah. How to do?
- 29:39Nobody knew how to do the Electric Slide.
- 29:41I'm saying like 60 year old women, yeah, we had to teach to
- 29:45do the Electric Slide. I thought that was a staple.
- 29:48I thought that you just knew that coming like out of the
- 29:51womb. Because every wedding I've gone
- 29:53to. Everybody electric knows it.
- 29:55Yeah, or the Cha Cha slide. Yeah, everyone knows those.
- 29:58What was the other one? The YMCA?
- 30:00Nobody knew. It.
- 30:02We got pulled up on stage to teach everyone.
- 30:05Yeah, they're like, we've never seen this dance before.
- 30:07And I'm like, where did I learn this dance?
- 30:09How do I know this? This is an old song.
- 30:13It was. It was insane.
- 30:15We had to teach those at line dancing.
- 30:17Yeah, that was fun. Bill never remembers us, though.
- 30:20No, Bill never remembers us. And if anybody from Dylan's
- 30:23maybe Sierra is gonna, like, listen to this.
- 30:24Yeah. But every time we see Bill and
- 30:28it's just you and I, Bill's the DJ.
- 30:30Bill's the DJ over at the at Dillon's Western Trails.
- 30:33And every time he sees us, he talks to us as if he's never met
- 30:37us before. Yeah.
- 30:38But when he sees our husbands, he knows exactly who they are.
- 30:41And we just look at each other like.
- 30:43What are we, chopped liver? He goes, yeah, I DJ here every
- 30:47Thursday and we're like, we know, Bill.
- 30:49We've been coming for three years, Bill.
- 30:52Also, I think I'm going to try to make it to Dylan's this week.
- 30:56Whatever. Yeah, because it's the 3rd
- 30:59anniversary you get free shirt. Are they doing shirts again?
- 31:02They're doing. Shirts.
- 31:03Damn. Yeah, I don't know if I'm going
- 31:05to make it. Hayden really wants a shirt, so
- 31:07I'm like, maybe me and Peyton will go for like an hour.
- 31:09Maybe I can convince Kayla to go.
- 31:12Maybe Kayla, you want to show up with us and go with us, be our
- 31:17our homie for the night. We don't have to stay all night.
- 31:20We don't have to dance our night away.
- 31:23We'll talk to Kayla, OK, Like when we get home.
- 31:26Who knows if she's listening right now, Yeah, But yeah.
- 31:31So I think I'm gonna go Thursday to get a shirt because I won't.
- 31:34I'm a loyal. Don't get one for the boys I
- 31:36want. I'm a.
- 31:37No, I'm not getting one for the boys, Nate.
- 31:38Wears his Sierra Shaker shirt all the time, so Nate will take
- 31:41a large OK. I'll just take orders.
- 31:46But yeah, I like, I have been going since day one.
- 31:49I'm getting a shirt and I'm like, I gotta beat the crowd.
- 31:52Because now that the Corral, the Corral is closed on Thursdays.
- 31:56No offense, but. They do line dancing on Fridays
- 31:59in the summer, so everyone goes to Dylan's on Thursday.
- 32:01Doesn't help our Thursday. No, our Thursday is packed now.
- 32:05We pulled like we're such old ladies.
- 32:07We pulled into the the parking lot and we're like, why are all
- 32:10these people here? Yeah, like what happened to our
- 32:12Just normal, normal. Like are the.
- 32:16Normal crew, yeah. And I'm and I'm sure Dylan's
- 32:19Western Trails, I'm sure that they appreciate the business.
- 32:23But we don't. No, we can't find a table.
- 32:27The dance floor's packed. Yeah, but it's fun.
- 32:29It's a good time. It is a good time.
- 32:31It's a good time. We started going to Dylan's
- 32:33because Drake was riding calfs and he still rides calfs.
- 32:36I'm trying to get him to go to Steers 'cause I think he is more
- 32:41the way they move. Yeah.
- 32:44And the way that they move, he rides more confidently, I would
- 32:47say, on a steer than he does on a calf, which is crazy because
- 32:50the calves are smaller. But.
- 32:51But he he loves to ride. That's his obsession lately.
- 32:55He's really much into the rodeos and the riding.
- 32:58And the outro that you guys hear is actually Drake.
- 33:00And he's just like, you know what?
- 33:01You just ride like you ride. Yeah, some people don't
- 33:03understand that, but it's just do you?
- 33:06Do you, do you? That's what he's saying.
- 33:08But ride like you ride. Ride like you ride.
- 33:10Yeah, He, he is. He.
- 33:13He's my little cowboy. I love it.
- 33:15He is so funny and he. And he's like an in these.
- 33:18Little chaps. Yeah, he was.
- 33:20He's so cute. But he's 8.
- 33:21But he's 85 internally. He When we go to these rodeos,
- 33:26because they start late, 'cause it's hot in Arizona, it's like
- 33:286:00 PM. They go on till like 830, but
- 33:31then afterwards it's live music and dancing.
- 33:34So we're usually there till about 10:30, 830 hits and that
- 33:37kids like mom. It's getting late.
- 33:39It is getting late. Don't you think we should get
- 33:41going? You guys have been at our house
- 33:43it before and it's been late and he's just like walking around.
- 33:46He's like, I'm getting tired. Yeah, and he's like, man, you
- 33:50guys are out late. And he's like, Sam, can I get a
- 33:53blanket? Just go lay in your room.
- 33:55And I'm like, do you know Andre? Go for an old soul.
- 33:59I love it. I love it.
- 34:00He's funny. But the my other kids did ride
- 34:03calves for a minute. Yeah.
- 34:05Zeke never got out of the chute. Poor kid.
- 34:08The poor kid got like fucked off in the chute and.
- 34:11He was like, he got some terrible draws.
- 34:12Yeah, he did. I have a good picture of him
- 34:15being flipped over the front of a steer.
- 34:18I printed that one. I'm gonna hang that in my house.
- 34:20I think that one's great. He hates it.
- 34:24And then Peyton, she she did amazing.
- 34:27She rode for a while. She.
- 34:29Got a couple bad draws I think and a couple hard falls.
- 34:32Hard falls, she fell pretty hard on her butt, her tailbone, and I
- 34:37think that's when she was just like, I'm I can't, I'm just
- 34:40going to ride horses so. Yeah.
- 34:42So the girls are very much into riding horses as you are.
- 34:46You did your very first. What is it called?
- 34:48A gymkhana I did a couple months ago before the season ended.
- 34:52Yeah, how'd that? Go it was fun, you know, it was
- 34:54really, really fun. I rode I rode one of my horses.
- 34:57She's older, she's kind of a been there, done that kind of
- 35:00horse and honestly, I just went to see if it was something that
- 35:03I would even be remotely interested in and I participated
- 35:09in all four events. So there was, I did the barrel
- 35:12pattern, we did the pull pattern, and then there's two
- 35:16random barrel patterns, like different, they just set the
- 35:19barrels up differently. OK.
- 35:20Yeah. And I just, I signed up in my
- 35:23class like instead of doing like a no time.
- 35:25So I'm like, I've never done this before.
- 35:26And Sedona can be kind of fast and we're still like I'm still
- 35:30learning on her and stuff. But I was like, if I'm going to
- 35:33go in, I'm going to go in. Like I'm going to compete, you
- 35:35know. But I'm.
- 35:36But I'm not going into it thinking that you're going to
- 35:39win. I'm going to win.
- 35:40Yeah, you know, I'm just going out there to vibe, but I placed
- 35:43an awe for. You did.
- 35:45You did awesome. Your favorite 1 was.
- 35:46Poles, I liked Poles, yeah. So I took I was third.
- 35:50I took I took third and Poles and two of the barrel patterns
- 35:54and then the actual barrel pattern I took fifth but.
- 36:00We started off spicy, yeah. So Donna got a little spicy.
- 36:02She started crow hopping on me a little bit.
- 36:04So I but we didn't break the pattern.
- 36:07We stayed in the pattern and. The videos, you look great.
- 36:11Yeah, I wasn't there. Peyton went with you, but she
- 36:14said you did awesome. Yeah, Hayden, it was Hayden.
- 36:16It was Hayden, Yeah, Hayden was. With us and yeah, and I took my,
- 36:20I took both of my horses just because I have a younger like a
- 36:24six year old and she just needs to get acclimated to some of
- 36:27that stuff. So she went for moral support
- 36:29and she was saddled all day and we had her out.
- 36:33We took her in the warm up pen. We had her out watching and in
- 36:36one of the videos you can hear her hollering as we get started.
- 36:39On the events. Yeah.
- 36:41Oh my gosh. It was the cutest thing.
- 36:43Like the moment I heard that, I just.
- 36:45And that was during the pole pattern.
- 36:46And the moment I heard that, I was like, Sedona, we got this
- 36:48girl. Yeah.
- 36:49Yeah, you did great. That's I'm like you sent me
- 36:52photos and I'm like damn, she placed in every single and that
- 36:55was your first event. My first.
- 36:57And and I'm a first generation horse girl like I didn't grow up
- 37:01doing. This neither did we, and the
- 37:02girls are absolutely. Obsessed with it.
- 37:04Like I told Nate, I said, I hope you don't ever get tired of this
- 37:07because I'm just getting started.
- 37:09Like, and I wouldn't say that I'll compete all the time
- 37:13because I do like going on like leisurely strolls and stuff like
- 37:15that. And, but, and I think Sedona is
- 37:19towards the end of her wanting to compete career 'cause I don't
- 37:24know what she did beforehand. Like there wasn't a lot of
- 37:26information given to us on her, but we know based off of just my
- 37:31brother-in-law coming over and like doing some stuff with her.
- 37:34Like she's done a lot. She's been roped off of, she's
- 37:36run the barrel pattern, she's never ran the pull pattern and
- 37:39did great. Oh wow, yeah, that was her first
- 37:42time. Her first time running the pole
- 37:44pattern and I and I and I say that I don't think she's ever
- 37:47ran the pole pattern just because of like the going in and
- 37:50out, Yeah. She didn't really know what to
- 37:51do. Yeah, you know, but she.
- 37:53Picked up on it from the video, it looked like she knew what she
- 37:55was. Doing and it felt like we were
- 37:56flying but then like you look at the video and I'm like that's
- 37:58how fast we were going are you kidding me it?
- 38:00Was faster than I would go I I've always said that I wanted
- 38:05to own a farm and animals when I was growing up I didn't ever
- 38:08think was going to happen and Shane always was his favorite
- 38:10animal is a horse he's always like I one day will have a horse
- 38:14and we have two yeah we have old crusty dusty he's an old man
- 38:20he's always dirty he's always. Rolling his we got to share.
- 38:23We got to share pictures of crusty Dusty.
- 38:25He's just. He's my old man.
- 38:26What a gent. He is so cute.
- 38:29And then we have Oakley, not Shane's horse, and I think,
- 38:33'cause the girls wanna do barrel racing or breakaway roping and I
- 38:38think she would be a good horse to get on and learn those things
- 38:41with. Yeah, 'cause she's, she's great.
- 38:43She even like we take her to a friend's house and she did great
- 38:47at Logan's riding. But the first time Hayden got on
- 38:50her, this is the first time ever.
- 38:54And like, Hayden is stubborn. She's my 15 or 14 year old.
- 38:57She's gonna be 15. She's a teenager.
- 38:59She thinks she knows everything. She's very stubborn.
- 39:01I'm like, just get on here. It'll be fine.
- 39:03You'll be fine. Nothing will go wrong.
- 39:05Famous last words, right? Yeah.
- 39:07She gets on. And I think, 'cause Shane has.
- 39:12What are the rains? They're split rains, Split
- 39:14rains. So she's not used to that.
- 39:16So she was trying to get Oakley to move away from the fence and
- 39:20I don't think she was directing her very well because her boot
- 39:23started hitting the fence and then her boot got stuck in the
- 39:28the round pen where they connect and her knee got stuck and she
- 39:32hurt her knee. But then it made it like a Big
- 39:34Bang and it freaked Oakley out and she started bucking.
- 39:39Not like crow hopping like full on bucking horse.
- 39:44And I as a mom should have been like, Oh no, I need to help her.
- 39:47But I just stood there just shocked.
- 39:50And so did Shane because we were just, no, we were just like,
- 39:53Dang, Hayden is holding on. Yeah.
- 39:55Like, she looked good. And it wasn't until she hopped
- 40:00onto the fence, realized her knee was all bruised up, that
- 40:03she started crying. But Shane walked over to her
- 40:06laughing because he's like, damn, that was good.
- 40:08And she started laughing. And then you just Drake, just, I
- 40:13wish we could film our lives because he just walks by and
- 40:15he's like, sign her up. She's like she'd be a good you
- 40:20fucker. Like sign that girl up you.
- 40:22Guys, you guys do need, I think cameras on you at all times
- 40:26because there are even when I come over.
- 40:29Why are you here? Yeah.
- 40:31What are you doing here? Like the kids?
- 40:32I come here like once a week. At least once a week.
- 40:34Yeah, like I'm due. They always question you but
- 40:38yeah, they're funny. And that she did really good
- 40:40though and I OK love my dad. Shout out to my dad.
- 40:44But I was filming her on the horse and then he called, so I
- 40:49stopped filming her to answer his call.
- 40:51So you missed I. Missed filming the bucking, but
- 40:54like, as I'm talking to, he's talking to me and it's silent
- 40:57with me because I'm just watching.
- 40:59Yeah, I'm like, Dad, I got to call you back.
- 41:01Hayden's getting bucked off a horse and like just hung up real
- 41:04quick, but she jumped from Oakley to the fence so she
- 41:07didn't get like bucked off and get hurt or anything.
- 41:09For her for like. She got her as close to the
- 41:11fence as she could and jumped. But yeah, she's like, I'm not
- 41:13falling on this. Ground.
- 41:14Yeah, No, she's not. So our round pin is just on
- 41:17dirt. Like we don't have sand.
- 41:18I mean, we have a little bit of sand, but it's not like soft.
- 41:21No, You fall, you're gonna get you're gonna get scraped up.
- 41:25Yeah, but she did. She held on.
- 41:28That's awesome. Like, I'm shocked.
- 41:30Like that girl. It frustrates me.
- 41:32I know it frustrates you, too, because that girl is strong.
- 41:37She has a lot of grit. And she has so much potential.
- 41:41Yes, but she doesn't apply herself.
- 41:44Yeah, she doesn't execute. No.
- 41:46Fully. She gets so like she was done.
- 41:48She's like, I got bucked off, I'm done.
- 41:49I'm not getting on. And I was like, Oh no, no, no,
- 41:51no, no. You're getting back on the
- 41:53horse. And that's where that saying
- 41:54comes from, I think. Yeah, But she's like, I'm not.
- 41:57She's crying. We're yelling at each other, you
- 41:59know, Mom, daughter, butting of the heads.
- 42:01I'm screaming at her to get on the horse.
- 42:03And she's like, I'm not. And finally I had to calm her
- 42:06down and be like, Hayden, this is your chance to stop being
- 42:10fearful and just get on the horse.
- 42:11And she got on her and she's like, I'm just, I'm just going
- 42:14to try. We're not doing anything else.
- 42:15And I'm like, go for it. But she got on.
- 42:17She was like, I'm glad you forced me because now I feel
- 42:20comfortable. And then she went and rode her
- 42:22the other day. But yeah, I think she'd be a
- 42:25great horse to learn. She probably would be, yeah.
- 42:28Probably not go crazy on her but.
- 42:30You could do like a no time on Oakley or something and just to
- 42:34kind of see like what she's you could trot the pattern.
- 42:36I've thought about doing that on Aspen.
- 42:38Aspen's not an athlete. No, Aspen is a like she could be
- 42:42a show horse, I think because she she has fancy qualities to
- 42:47her, but she's a look at me. I'm pretty kind of yes, not an
- 42:50athlete. Yeah, you'd make her go any
- 42:52faster than what she wants to go is especially with me lately.
- 42:56She's like, no, fuck you. I feel like all horses mayors
- 43:01are the mayors are that way. Oakley.
- 43:04I think it's jealous of me and Shane.
- 43:07So whenever I'm out there with him, she likes to put her butt
- 43:10in my face. So I have to like smack her,
- 43:12'cause you know, you know they can't 'cause they're gonna pick
- 43:14you. It's.
- 43:14A sign of disrespect? Like get your ass out of my
- 43:16face. I'm like what is wrong with you?
- 43:18And then when I go to feed her, she like, freaks me out because
- 43:22she looks at me like she's gonna bite me, but she doesn't.
- 43:25And she takes the candy all aggressively 'cause I give her
- 43:27like peppermint and I'm like. Golly, yeah, they're.
- 43:31Like I get it, you 2 are like coupled up, whatever.
- 43:35I don't care. But I marry them first.
- 43:37Yeah, like she does not like me. She's she's.
- 43:40Funny, she's something else. But we do, I told Shane.
- 43:44In the near future. Super near as Dusty's retired.
- 43:48I really don't think we can ride him anymore.
- 43:51He's 23, I think. Yeah, put him on a halter.
- 43:54And yeah, hand I, I will like Hayden walks him around because
- 43:57he needs his exercise. It's a horse.
- 43:58They need exercise, right? And even Drake, I'll put Drake
- 44:02on him and he walks around the round pin with him or goes on a
- 44:04small little ride with Shane out in the backyard because we have
- 44:07open land behind us that they just go out for like 20 minutes.
- 44:11But I don't think he can do any like we used to take him trail
- 44:14riding. I don't think Yeah when I went
- 44:17on him the. Last time there's no.
- 44:18Way the homeboy was tripping. Yeah, on everything he was.
- 44:23I feel like I should have put an audio to that 'cause he
- 44:27literally every step he tripped. Yeah.
- 44:30And I'm like, you're telling me you don't want to walk anymore?
- 44:32You don't want on these trail rides.
- 44:33So I think we need to get a couple more horses in the
- 44:36future. Yes, but none of the ones that
- 44:39you're training 'cause you're gonna get some some good we're.
- 44:42Gonna get some good So yeah, we're working with my
- 44:44brother-in-law we're gonna start like work flipping horses 'cause
- 44:46he's a horse trainer and we have the space and we've got a little
- 44:503 year old right now that's gonna be awesome and I, you know
- 44:54I'm not allowed I'm not attached I.
- 44:56I am. Trust me, I just, I wouldn't.
- 44:58Videos. I'm attached.
- 44:59I wouldn't say that I'm attached to him, but I am going to miss
- 45:02this horse when he leaves. He has just become he just
- 45:05watching like the. The video, the progress, yeah,
- 45:10because there was a video you showed me where he was just
- 45:12insane. Oh, yeah, He was going crazy.
- 45:14Like you couldn't catch this horse.
- 45:16Yeah, you couldn't put a fly mask on this horse.
- 45:18You couldn't walk behind this horse like he just was nervous
- 45:22all the time. But he is to the point now where
- 45:25you go out there, he meets you at the he's just in your pocket.
- 45:27He meets you at the gate. We had, we were standing like
- 45:30he, my brother-in-law Trevor was at the house and he was had just
- 45:34got done working him and then he hosed him down and stuff.
- 45:37And we were all just kind of like out there talking.
- 45:39And he not in a, not in a stall, just open on our property.
- 45:43And he took the halter off of him and read just just chilled.
- 45:47He's just hanging out. Yeah.
- 45:48One of the crew. Yeah, he's one of the boys.
- 45:51He's a cute horse, he's so cute, but he's someone is going to
- 45:54enjoy him. He is and he's a good horse.
- 45:56He's got probably gonna be a rope horse, maybe, maybe a heel
- 45:59horse. Trevor threw a rope off of him
- 46:02the other night. So but he's coming for sale soon
- 46:05in the next couple months unless something happens and we keep
- 46:08him. But no, I don't.
- 46:09I don't think, I don't think. I don't think so.
- 46:11He's just, he's whoever gets him is gonna be real, real lucky.
- 46:14And yeah. He's a good one.
- 46:15You guys started out with a good one.
- 46:17We did, and I wasn't sure 'cause he, you know, he came off the
- 46:21reservation. Yeah.
- 46:22And I, in the beginning, I was like, man, you're gonna make it
- 46:26real easy to get rid of you 'cause you're a pain in my ass.
- 46:30But he's in love with him. I just, I love him, but
- 46:32somebody's gonna be real lucky to have him.
- 46:33So all three of us, even Trevor, the other day, he was like, I'm
- 46:36gonna miss him too. Like, I'm gonna want updates.
- 46:38Yeah, you know. He's he's a proud Papa.
- 46:41Yes, he is a proud Papa. He is every like, oh man,
- 46:45they're gonna. The boys will interview Trevor
- 46:47soon. Yeah, that'll be a good one.
- 46:48Listen to that one. Yeah, he like watching some of
- 46:52these videos and how amped up he's like.
- 46:56He used to ride bulls. Yes, he's a that's.
- 46:59How I Met you guys is because we went to one of his rides.
- 47:03Not you guys but him met. Trevor Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 47:06We all went to, we went to the Buffalo Chip and and watched him
- 47:08ride and he's, he's ridden in the Williams Rodeo and but he's
- 47:13right. He's been riding bulls, but he
- 47:14hasn't. He's kind of taken some time
- 47:16off. He hurt his wrist.
- 47:17He needs to start practicing. But he's working with, you know,
- 47:20he's working full time. He's he's working with two young
- 47:23horses right now. So he's yeah, yeah.
- 47:25Finding the time and the balance for him to to get on a bull and
- 47:29he's been a little bit of a struggle.
- 47:30We took Drake to watch him and Drake fell in love.
- 47:33Yeah, he's still asking me. He's.
- 47:34Still asked all the time, when are we going to go watch Trevor?
- 47:36I'm like. Does Trevor have his own?
- 47:38Bulls. Yeah, that is Drake's dream is
- 47:41to raise bulls. Bulls like PBR.
- 47:43Bulls. Bucking bull.
- 47:44Yeah, he told me. He's like he he watches his
- 47:48YouTube a lot on bulls. Bill Brisby's his favorite.
- 47:52He loves Bill Brisby and JB Mooney.
- 47:55I always want to say JP, but it's JB Mooney.
- 47:58And he just one day came up to me and he's like, mom, when this
- 48:01whole like rodeo thing gets old and I can't ride anymore, I'm
- 48:05going to raise bulls. I'm like, I'm sorry to play it
- 48:07anymore. Yeah, I'm like, I'm sorry, but.
- 48:09And he's like, yeah, yeah, I'm going to, I'm going to get a
- 48:11farm and I'm going to raise bulls and they're going to be in
- 48:14the PBR. I'm making lots of money.
- 48:16This kid is 8, yeah. He's got his whole future
- 48:18planned out. Well, I'm telling you, one of
- 48:20these days, I don't know how and where we're gonna end up, but
- 48:24I'm telling you, I want a dude ranch.
- 48:25Yeah. And then Drake can be one of our
- 48:27hands. He can be one of our wranglers.
- 48:29I just need you to buy all that land behind you so we can do it.
- 48:32That's like 5 acres behind you. I would love that property.
- 48:36Yeah, that would be awesome. Yeah, I only got 1 acre behind
- 48:41me so but. Still like having two, even
- 48:43having. 2 acres would be great. That would be great, but you
- 48:47have a lot more and that would be it would be way more awesome.
- 48:50To get that so. Yeah.
- 48:53Excuse me? Well, what is wrong with you
- 48:55excuse? Me, I burped.
- 49:00Well. I know I'm getting hot.
- 49:03It is getting hot and it's almost lunchtime.
- 49:05Yeah, I am hungry, but this is not the last you will hear from
- 49:09us. No, we are going to be doing
- 49:11more because I think we're way more cooler.
- 49:13I don't know. That's a.
- 49:14Word. It's probably not.
- 49:15Way more cool. It's not grammatically correct.
- 49:18But I haven't been in school in a while.
- 49:20Mean same. I mean same but I don't help my
- 49:23kids with their homework, that's all shame.
- 49:28Or, or they come to my house. Yeah.
- 49:30Just FaceTime somebody and ask them for help.
- 49:32Yeah, it's fine. Maybe that's why Hayden failed.
- 49:34I don't know. Yeah, well, she's doing better.
- 49:37But that girl, love her to death.
- 49:40But yeah. TuneIn.
- 49:42Yes, TuneIn, we don't know when this is airing.
- 49:44No, we're just, we were just thrown into this because they
- 49:46were busy and we needed a episode.
- 49:49Yep. But I feel like this is going to
- 49:51be a regular for us. It's got to be because it's
- 49:54always a pleasure. It is always a pleasure.
- 49:58Dolly's going to stay. Yeah, we're going to put a pole
- 50:01out if Dolly should stay. I don't think the guys want her
- 50:03to stay, but we should definitely.
- 50:05I think it needs to be part of the decor.
- 50:07Yeah, so, so thanks for listening, tuning in, Finger
- 50:11guns. Love you guys.
- 50:16Bye, you friends. Everyone's going to be friends.
- 50:22And plus, you better ride like you ride.
