- 0:00coming up i did see an alien in the mirror so
- 0:03i still don't understand exactly what that means
- 0:06a freaking adult i saw an alien okay we're gonna
- 0:10start off with a quick rant you guys want a quick
- 0:12rant not really but you're gonna give it to us
- 0:15anyways okay we're gonna for the first time ever
- 0:18on the podcast break the one rule we have one
- 0:21rule and that's we don't call out any individuals
- 0:23or like any specific businesses unless it's like
- 0:29really important to the central point. Wait,
- 0:31we're calling someone out? I am, yeah. I don't
- 0:35really need to, but I saw this and I got triggered.
- 0:39Been getting triggered? I got triggered. So we're
- 0:44breaking the rule for the first time, okay? And
- 0:47I gotta tell you guys, do not get your weather
- 0:50from AccuWeather .com. They fucking suck. That's
- 0:54what I'm calling out. That's what I'm calling
- 0:57out. I thought it was going to be something paranormal.
- 1:00I was like, let's call some people out. I don't
- 1:03want to call out no app. I mean, I guess it isn't
- 1:04really random. It's not. You know why? You know
- 1:07what triggered me from AccuWeather .com? What?
- 1:10And also, if you want to go down rabbit holes,
- 1:12there's a lot of controversies about AccuWeather
- 1:14.com, so you can do that later, but that's not
- 1:16paranormal related. They posted in 2024, so pretty
- 1:23recently, an article from what I can tell. This
- 1:27is not part of their blog. It is not an opinion
- 1:30piece. It is by a staff writer an article That
- 1:36has a headline quote ghost hunter thunderstorms
- 1:41cause an increase in paranormal activity and
- 1:46Then the subtitle thunderstorms stir energy in
- 1:50the atmosphere And according to those who research
- 1:53paranormal activity, they may just stir the ghostly
- 1:56manifestations of those long dead. Then they
- 2:00go on and there's this whole article basically
- 2:02framing as a known fact, as an actual article
- 2:09by a staff writer of AccuWeather, that thunderstorms
- 2:14do cause an increase in paranormal activity.
- 2:17And you know what we say all the time? There
- 2:19are no... experts in the paranormal how the does
- 2:22accuweather .com have a staff writer that can
- 2:26say with any level of certainty it's highly irresponsible
- 2:29for them to be putting stuff like this that say
- 2:32and i know i know they they say in the article
- 2:35i am i i know they're covering their bust a little
- 2:40bit in the actual article by saying according
- 2:42to this may just but no with a headline like
- 2:46that saying that thunderstorms cause an increase
- 2:49in paranormal activity Most people are just reading
- 2:51the headline and moving on. They're not reading
- 2:54your little qualifiers here. And their qualifiers
- 2:58don't really hold much weight either. They go
- 3:06on and they say that apparitions need a source
- 3:12of energy to manifest their presence and that
- 3:16they could be drawing their energy from thunderstorms.
- 3:20It's just... They go on and they say all these
- 3:23things that have no basis in fact. And you know
- 3:25what? I haven't seen any correlation myself with
- 3:30thunderstorms and paranormal activity. But I
- 3:32guess it's because I don't work at AccuWeather.
- 3:37Ben, not an AccuWeather worker. No! So today
- 3:45we're going to talk about thunderstorms and the
- 3:47paranormal. If you haven't figured that out by
- 3:52now. Welcome to our podcast where we take deep
- 3:57dives looking at various topics through a paranormal
- 3:59lens. We, where I live, have had the worst flooding
- 4:08in forever. Like, literally, there's a dam just
- 4:17farther east from me. And it's, like, eight feet
- 4:20above the dam level. Or, like, the normal, like,
- 4:25level. They had to open it up fully. There's
- 4:29houses that are underwater. Like, yesterday.
- 4:32Yeah. Well, all week. All week this is, like,
- 4:36culminated. Like, it started on Monday because
- 4:40it rained all day Sunday. and it like it literally
- 4:46did not stop once and then we've had all the
- 4:49snow still melting um and it's rained literally
- 4:54every single day since sunday um a lot of people
- 4:59have their like basements flooded and their sub
- 5:02pumps are not working and um yeah just like Literally,
- 5:09I've been going down to the river just about
- 5:10every day, and the river and the parking lot
- 5:15are connected. It's just water. There is none.
- 5:22It's like the people don't have a neck. It's
- 5:24like their head just turns into their shoulders.
- 5:27But yeah, so I'm like, oh yeah. You know what
- 5:30we haven't talked about on this podcast is how...
- 5:37Water and weather potentially affect paranormal
- 5:43activity. So let me ask you, you go to the river
- 5:46all the time. Have you noticed an increase in
- 5:48paranormal activity this week? No. I mean, you
- 5:51don't experience like anything on a baseline
- 5:54level. So going from zero activity times 100
- 5:58is still going to be zero. Yeah. Zero times anything
- 6:02is still zero. See, my math has improved. In
- 6:07two episodes. A little bit. Are you sure zero
- 6:10times zero isn't 15? Yes. Are you saying I have
- 6:15zero math skills, so an increase by anything
- 6:18is still zero? Is that what you're trying to
- 6:20say? I'm joking, I'm joking. I think that is
- 6:22what she's trying to say, Ben. Wow. Well, I was
- 6:26thinking back, and I'm like, have we had any
- 6:28investigations where we have had to deal with
- 6:33weather? and there is a couple that I could think
- 6:39of. And one I wasn't there for, but you guys,
- 6:43I think it was last year when you guys had the
- 6:46tornado warning. Yeah, that's the only example
- 6:49I could think of. And I feel like you guys did
- 6:53have paranormal stuff happen and things amped
- 6:55up. Am I wrong in saying that? Well, firstly,
- 6:59let's set the scene. This was featured in our
- 7:03short film Possession Tape. There was an incident
- 7:06where Angela and I and some others were in Brighton,
- 7:10Michigan, and we were on a hike at the recreation
- 7:16area. And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere,
- 7:20literally out of nowhere, it wasn't like one
- 7:22of those, like, it's going to be bad weather.
- 7:24Why are we even going out? Out of nowhere, the
- 7:27weather turned terrible. And then sirens, phones
- 7:31going off, tornado. Tornado, not just a watch.
- 7:34Warning, warning, warning. And we're in the middle
- 7:39of nowhere, essentially. Our car is far clear,
- 7:43and we have to, like, walk to even get to the
- 7:45car. Plus, you don't want to be just in a car
- 7:49during an active tornado. So we took shelter
- 7:53in this random little, like, I don't know, they
- 7:55have a couple, like, huts or whatever. Straw
- 7:58-roofed hut. Straw roof. Yes. Literally a strong
- 8:03root cut. Again, I don't recommend this. There
- 8:10could have been better alternatives to taking
- 8:13shelter. We were encouraged just to hang out
- 8:17there because the vibes were immaculate. So we
- 8:21were encouraged to stay there and take shelter.
- 8:24And we actually saw a... well it was like a water
- 8:28spout like it looked like a tornado but it was
- 8:30just like a tornado it was a water sprout yeah
- 8:33yeah it was from a distance we were like oh my
- 8:36god there's a tornado right there then we go
- 8:39it's still scary seeing that it's like tall swirling
- 8:43water spout coming right at us uh extremely windy
- 8:48um there was a mirror in there so again was encouraged
- 8:56to do a trespass exercise, which we love to do,
- 8:58where we just stare in a mirror and, like, watch
- 9:00out for changes to happen, usually we do it at
- 9:03haunted places. Here, it was just a case of,
- 9:05we're bored, why not? Well, that's the night
- 9:09I saw an alien. Didn't you thought you got touched
- 9:12earlier before that? Like, that's another reason
- 9:14why you decided to do it. Around the same time.
- 9:15Yeah. Like, we were feeling an energy, and you
- 9:18felt like you got touched, and we were like,
- 9:20yeah, let's do a trespass exercise. Perfect timing,
- 9:23especially with a storm. yeah i mean i tend to
- 9:27think and this might be a theme in this i tend
- 9:30to think like with severe storms especially like
- 9:33that severe where there's a freaking water spout
- 9:36coming out as winds like the door and the windows
- 9:39of this hut were like banging and rattling the
- 9:41whole time i think with storms it gets darker
- 9:44um so you can't see as well it's noisy as heck
- 9:49you can't hear as well um windy you have no sense
- 9:55of, like, orientation, really, because you're
- 9:57all thrown off and wind is coming at you here,
- 10:00wind is coming at you there. It's very chaotic.
- 10:03I don't really think you can trust your senses
- 10:06during a storm to gauge accurately if paranormal
- 10:10activity is happening. It might be just psychological.
- 10:12So if I feel like something comes up on me, I'm
- 10:15just stating that out loud, not necessarily saying
- 10:19I think that's a ghost, because it could have
- 10:21just been... The wind coming through the half
- 10:25-open window that keeps banging at a weird angle
- 10:28that didn't replicate at that angle because the
- 10:31window keeps banging non -stop and it just hit
- 10:34the right time, if that makes any sense. Yep.
- 10:37Yeah, absolutely. But I did see it. We're not
- 10:40going to brush back. I did see an alien in the
- 10:42mirror. I still don't understand exactly what
- 10:46that means, but it's fascinating. I saw an alien.
- 10:49Like, what does an alien look like? so what would
- 10:53it look like i was looking in the mirror yeah
- 10:57don't you dare say you saw an alien because that's
- 11:00not no description i'm i'm describing the alien
- 11:03okay okay my two eyes disappeared and a third
- 11:08eye appeared right in the middle of my forehead
- 11:10and then my entire face disappeared it was just
- 11:15black like a shadow but a third eye which is
- 11:19now the only eye started glowing And then, a
- 11:23different face that looked like a stereotypical,
- 11:26like, you know, a thing like a megamind. Big
- 11:27-headed alien? Yeah, yeah, and it was blue. Like
- 11:31a little gray alien? Yeah, but it was blue. It
- 11:35was blue. It was blue. Big head. And it appeared
- 11:38right where my face was, and then everything
- 11:43started, like, glowing in the room, and it felt
- 11:45like, I don't know, like E .T. or something.
- 11:49probably more accurately like uh close encounters
- 11:52it felt like everything was like i could hear
- 11:55like a frequency like and it was just weird it
- 11:59was like an alien head and then just it just
- 12:01faded away repeat that frequency real quick so
- 12:09anyways um but again would that have happened
- 12:14without the storm i don't know Because we haven't
- 12:19been back, you know, without one at that location.
- 12:25And I was thinking, because I wasn't there for
- 12:28that experience. And I was trying to think of,
- 12:30well, have I ever had any investigations where
- 12:33I've come across, like, weather anomaly while
- 12:36we're doing an investigation? And the only one
- 12:39I can think of is when we had went to the cemetery
- 12:45over in Charlotte. maple hill yeah it was at
- 12:49maple hill and we had done like it was a daytime
- 12:52it was daytime we had done like kind of a daytime
- 12:55investigation there were vibes there were things
- 12:57happening but there was a storm rolling in so
- 13:00we were trying to wrap things up um and i needed
- 13:03to drive home um two hours away and didn't want
- 13:08to drive in a storm happened anyways full downpour
- 13:10was terrible But we could see the storm coming
- 13:14in. We could see the lightning, hear the thunder,
- 13:17could see the rolling clouds. And with all, like,
- 13:23you could feel it in the air. You could feel
- 13:27that there was a shift. And I vividly remember
- 13:31that. It's like, oh, there's a shift in the energy
- 13:35here in the cemetery. And I swear, I saw something.
- 13:41I saw something move like down near there's a
- 13:46pond there. And I swear I saw like a dark shadow
- 13:49go across the walkway. And I'm like, I think
- 13:56it's time to leave. But just that shift in the
- 13:59energy because of the storm that was rolling
- 14:02and like it was palpable. You could feel it.
- 14:05Did we do an investigation? No. There's a thunderstorm.
- 14:10In a cemetery. It's hard to film in thunderstorms.
- 14:14Yeah, it's hard to do anything in a thunderstorm.
- 14:17Unless you're, like, in a building. You know
- 14:20what's funny is, like, when we first started
- 14:22in college, like, freshman year in college, we
- 14:25would go out in, like, blizzards, in, like, negative
- 14:29degree temperatures, in thunderstorms, just because,
- 14:33like, you know. Sounds fun. sounds fun now we're
- 14:36older and it's like no i'm staying home i don't
- 14:40want to do that i'm really not fun anymore i'm
- 14:44still in that phase of i want to go i want to
- 14:46do that yeah um i'm like i'm good like i don't
- 14:50think i've ever been game for going out in a
- 14:53blizzard or a rainstorm or anything like I'm
- 14:58good. If we're indoors, that's a different scenario.
- 15:01Yeah, and storm chasing is a very reckless and
- 15:04dangerous activity that I don't ever care to
- 15:07do. Yeah, I wouldn't say it's reckless. I guess
- 15:09it is reckless. You made it sound like it's a
- 15:12terrible thing to do by saying reckless. I just
- 15:17don't want anyone listening to this thinking,
- 15:18I'm going to go chase a storm to... get a really
- 15:22great paranormal experience out of it. They had
- 15:25one around a severe thunderstorm and a tornado.
- 15:28Let me go hang out around all these tornadoes.
- 15:30I wouldn't necessarily think it's the best idea
- 15:33to go out and chase a big, ginormous tornado
- 15:37just for the paranormal. So how do you prove
- 15:40it? How do you prove that? Um... Happenstance?
- 15:45Yeah, being in the right place at the right time,
- 15:49I guess. But also you have to have previous experience
- 15:53or prior to it to have that baseline of what
- 15:58that place is like with versus without. That's
- 16:03why I say right place, right time. But that kind
- 16:07of brings me to that other thought of whether
- 16:10it kind of melds into the aspect of the flowing
- 16:16of water and, like, water bringing energy to
- 16:20places. Because that's something that you always
- 16:23hear from people, like, every single paranormal
- 16:28investigator TV show forever has said, like,
- 16:31water holds energy, like, flowing water, whatever,
- 16:36brings more energy to a location. Why? Like...
- 16:43It kind of falls under that same umbrella of,
- 16:46like, energy being brought to a location. Well,
- 16:51you even said yourself that when that big thunderstorm
- 16:56rolled in, you can feel the shift. That had nothing
- 16:59to do with, like, you felt ghosts, you felt the
- 17:02storm. People can even, like, smell when it's
- 17:04going to rain and stuff. Petrichor. What? Petrichor.
- 17:08Is that what it's called? Yeah, that's what it's
- 17:11called. I didn't know that. I can't even smell
- 17:14rain. Can you smell rain? Yeah. Yeah. Who can't
- 17:18smell rain? You can't smell rain? Like, not like
- 17:21psychically. That's not how that works, Ben.
- 17:26Oh. Not a psychic thing. Sorry. I wasn't trying
- 17:30to rain on your parade. Yeah, yes you are. You're
- 17:33ruining everything, Ben. Gosh dang it. How do
- 17:36you not be able to smell rain? I can't smell
- 17:39it. My point is that you can feel these shifts
- 17:43in energy regardless of the paranormal activity.
- 17:47So if you're already feeling that energized shift,
- 17:51that spike in energy, are you then priming yourself
- 17:55to have a paranormal experience if you might
- 17:59not otherwise? Like if you're already amped up
- 18:02and you're already kind of feeling different
- 18:06than you did a few minutes ago? Let's say you're
- 18:08on investigation. Yeah. You know, I see your
- 18:12point. Um, but also like I've been saying, I've
- 18:20been saying a lot against, um, like, Oh, these
- 18:23things don't do that. But also at the same time,
- 18:26if you're thinking about it as like a storm coming
- 18:30in or water flowing, it is. in a sense creating
- 18:36energy in the environment like we said we can
- 18:39feel that and what theoretically can increase
- 18:48a spirit's activities or an entity's activities
- 18:52like you go to a location and you're doing a
- 18:56ghost hunt and your batteries are drained and
- 18:59something happens it could it not still have
- 19:02the same effect like if you're putting all of
- 19:05this energy into the air into the area from a
- 19:08storm or flowing water or whatever it is can
- 19:12a spirit draw from that and use that environmental
- 19:14energy i was gonna say that's such a fair point
- 19:19what i was thinking do you this might not go
- 19:23along with like the running water necessarily
- 19:26but for the storm aspect you know yeah how mindset
- 19:29has a has a big impact well that's what i believe
- 19:33and you guys believe at least yeah what happens
- 19:36if the storm is putting you in the same mindset
- 19:40because of everything that's happening especially
- 19:44with a really intense storm you know it's putting
- 19:47you in the same mindset as if you're doing like
- 19:51preparing for a ritual or getting scared in a
- 19:55paranormal investigation or location or something
- 19:58like that i'm just wondering if it's like Putting
- 20:01you in the same mindset because of the activity
- 20:04in the scariness of a storm, if that makes sense.
- 20:09It does. It can increase your adrenaline. I was
- 20:12just going to say, Brenna mentions adrenaline
- 20:14all the time. I mention adrenaline all the time
- 20:17because adrenaline can make you feel and sometimes
- 20:20see things that aren't necessarily there. also
- 20:25can potentially make you more open to seeing
- 20:29things i don't know yeah well what what if a
- 20:32storm comes in all of a sudden we're talking
- 20:34in a sudden instance which both of our anecdotes
- 20:37mine and yours both were a sudden storm so suddenly
- 20:42the environment feels different suddenly you
- 20:47are a little more amped up you can feel some
- 20:50electricity in the air that is a sudden difference
- 20:54in how your body is perceiving the environment
- 20:58and then even if you settle back into calm observant
- 21:03you suddenly thunder boom then you kind of jump
- 21:08oh that was big thunder lightning you're always
- 21:12snapped right back into storm mode so i think
- 21:16it has a lot to do mentally whether you're opening
- 21:21yourself up to an experience by being in this
- 21:24altered mindset, or you're just tricking yourself
- 21:27into having experiences. I think it more has
- 21:30to do with psychologically, as opposed to the
- 21:33storm itself. But that is a good point, Bree,
- 21:37about the energy. But, you know, what if you're
- 21:44in a building? The lightning isn't entering the
- 21:49building. I agree, a bolt of lightning in the
- 21:52air? theoretically could disperse energy but
- 21:56like how would how does that affect when you're
- 21:57in a building i mean but you can still like you
- 22:02you're still in it yeah and i i mean when i'm
- 22:07in there's a thunderstorm that happens at my
- 22:09house i can feel that energy still in my house
- 22:12like whether that's like i said the adrenaline
- 22:15of there being a storm or the fact that i can
- 22:20feel that there's the energy from the storm.
- 22:23I don't know. It's hard to say, but I don't think
- 22:26it changes. So here's potentially a dumb question,
- 22:29but you know a lot of places are abandoned places
- 22:33before they get turned into haunted places people
- 22:37can tour? Yeah. Often, when people buy a haunted
- 22:41location to open up to investigators, they will
- 22:44install electricity, heat, and whatnot in a formerly
- 22:48abandoned location. Yeah. actually installing
- 22:52electricity into a building increase activity?
- 22:56That's a great question. That's a good question.
- 22:58That is also what I was going to say with the
- 23:02water thing, too, is you can never technically
- 23:05remove a body of water from an instance of a
- 23:09haunted body of water. It's always going to be
- 23:13there. Is it still going to be haunted without
- 23:17the water? Residual hauntings, right? Is it less
- 23:22stone tape and more water tape? Water tape. Does
- 23:27the water hold memories? Yeah. You know, that's
- 23:32a good question. I do think that that's a big
- 23:35reason. I was talking with our friends at Malice
- 23:38in the Mitten about this a while ago. But they
- 23:43were like, why do you think Michigan is so haunted?
- 23:45Could it be because of the Great Lakes? Because
- 23:47of all the water? And I was like, yeah. It sounds
- 23:50like a... decently good theory right there. I
- 23:54mean, if you want to extrapolate this whole area,
- 23:57the amount of water could be why Michigan is
- 24:00often cited as one of the most haunted states.
- 24:02I would count Ohio as more haunted than Michigan.
- 24:05Ohio is more haunted than Michigan? I'm just
- 24:07saying, I would consider Ohio to be more haunted.
- 24:10Honestly, I might also, but also I don't want
- 24:13to say it because I hate Ohio. Yeah, say it again.
- 24:16We hate Ohio. Ohio isn't haunted, it's just cursed.
- 24:23It's not the most haunted. It's just cursed.
- 24:26Okay, I can get behind that. But, man, Ohio is
- 24:29more haunted than Michigan. And also, I never
- 24:31said Michigan is the most haunted. It's one of.
- 24:34Whatever. So, Ohio is cursed, huh? Yes. I can
- 24:42count how many times I've had a good experience
- 24:45in Ohio on one finger. Was it all at Madison
- 24:51Seminary? Yeah. Okay. And you know what? That
- 25:03does remind me. There was a really crazy story.
- 25:08One of the few that stand out from Madison Seminary.
- 25:11I remember Adam, the owner was Adam Kimmel. He
- 25:14was telling us about this when he did a tour.
- 25:17Took us around the place and telling us some
- 25:19stories. One of the first flashlight tours. That
- 25:24he did there. There was a thunderstorm. And do
- 25:29you remember this one? There was a thunderstorm.
- 25:31And in the lightning. You could see. It illuminated
- 25:36the hallway. Because there was a big open window.
- 25:39And in the lightning. He saw the silhouette of
- 25:42a person. In just one flash. And then another
- 25:45flash. That would be so cool. I would be so terrified.
- 25:51But like. That would be so cool. Yeah. And that
- 25:57was the same area that Angela... I mean, not
- 25:59the same night, obviously, but on a different
- 26:01investigation. Also not a thunderstorm. Angela
- 26:04saw a shadow figure. That's the one time I can
- 26:07say I've clearly seen a shadow figure. And I
- 26:11don't stand by that. Dude, it was so clear. It
- 26:15was like... It wasn't like a fuzzy black. It
- 26:18was like peer -shaped, body -shaped, just...
- 26:22black of a head just going like this out of a
- 26:27doorway just peeking out it's like it's not it's
- 26:31like it didn't even have like hair it didn't
- 26:33have the outline of hair it was just like the
- 26:34outline of a shadow of a shape of a head and
- 26:37the shoulders or whatever was peeking around
- 26:39the corner and i can't and how many i i can't
- 26:42even say that i've ever seen that i have i've
- 26:45seen like shadows and like I've only ever seen
- 26:51one solid black mass, but I was just a mass.
- 26:56It didn't look like a figure. What was that?
- 26:58I've never... Rosevear. Rosevear Park, yeah,
- 27:03that's right. But I've never seen a human -shaped...
- 27:10shadow figure no it was weird i just really wish
- 27:13i didn't get creeped out because right when i
- 27:14saw it i just turned around and entered the room
- 27:16where you guys were at and it was just like i
- 27:19literally made it sound like you guys good you
- 27:25good and i explained what it was but i really
- 27:28wish i didn't turn around and i just faced it
- 27:32and see what would have happened I think I probably
- 27:38would have done the same thing in that circumstance.
- 27:40Or instead of, like, turning around and going
- 27:43to the room with you guys, if I just walked towards
- 27:47it. See what would have happened. Instead of
- 27:51running away. I could never. I would probably.
- 27:54I would cry. Instincts? I don't think my body
- 27:59would allow me to do that in the moment. But
- 28:02I just wish. my body would allow me to do that.
- 28:05So I need to train my body to be able to do that
- 28:10stuff more. Yeah. But I feel like we all still
- 28:14have the same consensus on like, do storms or
- 28:17water actually do anything to paranormal activity?
- 28:23The water water's up in the air for me. I do
- 28:26like the idea of like, residual energy component,
- 28:30like the stone tape theory, but it makes sense
- 28:32that water holds onto stuff. I'm out on storms.
- 28:38I like the idea. I like the thought that storms
- 28:41bringing energy into a place can amp up activity
- 28:46because you're putting all that energy into the
- 28:48air. But I don't know if it's true. Like... You
- 28:54know, I... Great way of putting how I actually
- 28:58feel. I think it's a good thought. I think it's
- 29:00a good thought. It's a great thought. It has,
- 29:03it's a great theory. But I don't think you should
- 29:06say it as fact. Like, oh, and even us, if there's
- 29:10a thunderstorm. If we're trying to plan an investigation
- 29:13over the course of three days, you can kind of
- 29:17gauge if there's going to be storms within a
- 29:20couple days or whatever. If we're like, hey,
- 29:22let's investigate this weekend. Friday is clear
- 29:24weather. Saturday is going to be severe thunderstorms.
- 29:27I'm picking Friday to investigate. I'm not investigating
- 29:30during a storm. Yeah. Unless we're indoors. But
- 29:35even then, I'd prefer clear weather. What about
- 29:37a snowstorm, Ben? We investigated in a... Really
- 29:41bad snowstorm one. We got stranded. Snowstorm
- 29:46versus a rainstorm. Or a thunderstorm. What about
- 29:52a thunder snowstorm? Rare, but it happens. We
- 29:57had one this winter. I remember you telling us
- 30:00that. It was weird. I think that's more paranormal
- 30:07than any ghost you might see. Honestly, yeah.
- 30:11Ghost thunder. Maybe not paranormal, but definitely
- 30:15abnormal. I feel bad for the first people in
- 30:18this world to ever experience a thundersnow.
- 30:21They must have been so confused. Yeah. I feel
- 30:25bad for the first people to experience thunder.
- 30:28Can you imagine just living your life? Bad in
- 30:30general. So, any final thoughts on weather? I
- 30:36think this is one of those... touchstone topics
- 30:38where like i think i would love to hear if any
- 30:42of our viewers listeners have ever had like that
- 30:48sort of experience where they've done an investigation
- 30:50during a storm that they've investigated before
- 30:56and have noticed a noticeable difference like
- 31:00i wanna i wanna hear from you guys like a really
- 31:03noticeable difference Because if it was just,
- 31:07like, a medium or a small difference, that could
- 31:10just be your mind -playing trick. So we need,
- 31:12like, a full -on, like... But how do you quantify
- 31:15that? What's a major difference? I mean, that's
- 31:17true. That's true. We've investigated places
- 31:20multiple times. People's extremes is a range.
- 31:23Yeah. Well, take Stimson Hospital. We've investigated
- 31:26there. We go there every year. Never, I don't
- 31:30think, during a severe storm. And even then there's
- 31:33a difference in activity. It depends on the date.
- 31:36It depends on your energy you're bringing. It
- 31:38depends on prior investigations, you know, within
- 31:42the week span. Yeah. I mean, every investigation
- 31:46we've had at Stimson has been different. Yeah.
- 31:50Like, we've never had one that's like, they've
- 31:53never been consistently the same in activity.
- 31:58So let's say we go back to Simpson and there's
- 32:01a severe thunderstorm. How do we know that it's
- 32:05a thunderstorm that's the cause for the increase
- 32:07in activity? Yeah. How can we even, what would
- 32:10it take to even do an investigation in Simpson
- 32:13Hospital, which is their most frequented location?
- 32:17What would it even take for us to be like, yeah,
- 32:20there's an increase tonight? Yeah. Like we've
- 32:22been there so often. How do you quantify increase
- 32:25in activity? Yeah, that's hard to say. Because,
- 32:28like, you really can't quantify haunted locations
- 32:32unless you're literally there every single day
- 32:35and you're taking in your accounts and other
- 32:37people's accounts exactly what's happening. Like,
- 32:41it's, you can't, you really can't quantify it.
- 32:46But I'd love to hear from other people if they
- 32:50think, what their thoughts are. Do they think
- 32:53that... Like, I mean, like we said, it's just
- 32:56a theory. There's really no way to actually say
- 33:01it's true or not. So I think you get a theory.
- 33:05That's a good first step. We all agree it's a
- 33:07good thought. I just don't think you can say
- 33:09that there's a correlation between the two yet.
- 33:12If we get enough anecdotes of like, it's like
- 33:15the story of like seeing a shadow figure in a
- 33:18lightning. you know, illumination. The lightning
- 33:21illuminates the shadow. That, I think, is a direct
- 33:23link from an experience, and the storm, you would
- 33:28not have seen, or he would not have seen that
- 33:31shadow figure if it was not for the lightning,
- 33:33for the storm. So that's a good example of something
- 33:37that's, like, the two are linked. So if we can
- 33:40get enough anecdotal links, I think we can kind
- 33:43of see a clearer picture. Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm. Anything
- 33:49to add, Ange? No. Agree? Nope. I think we've
- 33:55said just about everything. Thanks for listening
