- 0:04SPEAKER_02: I'm Cody.
- 0:05SPEAKER_03: I am Cody.
- 0:06SPEAKER_03: I'm Matt.
- 0:07SPEAKER_03: I'm Mark.
- 0:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and we are here.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: This is Baja Blast.
- 0:11SPEAKER_03: You can't see it because we're not filming today, but yeah.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: If Nick were here, you could see it.
- 0:16SPEAKER_03: I'm having a Baja Blast today.
- 0:18SPEAKER_03: How about you guys?
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: No.
- 0:20SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 0:20SPEAKER_03: Give it.
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: I'm not I'm moving on because that's a good joke.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: I'm having a water today.
- 0:27SPEAKER_02: It's good.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: Mark is walking and drinking water.
- 0:31SPEAKER_03: Mark, I didn't think your awkwardness would translate on video, and it translates even less in the podcast format.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: You mean even more?
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 0:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: No, even less.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: Well, uh, I'm back.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: I haven't been here for a few weeks.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: So yeah, it's good.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: I'm Mr.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: World Traveling.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: My world travels and you know,$3,000 of stuff lighter.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: So thanks to the robbers in Rome.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: So the brigands.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: Cody, Cody, Cody's like, why are you calling them brigands on Sunday?
- 0:59SPEAKER_02: I was like, because it's a great word and you're never going to use it.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: So how many times you got affected by brigands in your life?
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: He said it over.
- 1:06SPEAKER_03: I just was laughing because every time he said I just know him well enough.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: I'm like, he's saying this word for his own enjoyment.
- 1:11SPEAKER_03: It's like a little inside joke he's laughing at himself.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: For anyone who's not a time he said it.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: I said it every service.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: For anyone who's not aware, do you want to enlighten the audience into a reason?
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Totally the audience and not Mark at all.
- 1:23SPEAKER_03: Hey Mark, that's a good that's a good segue.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: On the way back to the airport, I was robbed when I went to dinner in Rome.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm aware of this.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: All of my luggage and all of my stuff and all my backpacks, so my computer, my pie's glasses, all of our clothes, all of our nice clothes.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so that's what happened.
- 1:40SPEAKER_02: Like four hours before we head to the airport.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: I believe what he was asking for was a definition of the word brigands.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: Brigand is a robber.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Okay, thank you.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: I watched your live stream.
- 1:52SPEAKER_02: Did you not hear the brigand resin?
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: I never heard that word in my life.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: I just Googled it.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Where do you find brigands?
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: I assumed it was just a weird British word for underwear.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: No, brigands are brigands are like you find brigands in like video games and Dungeons and Dragons.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: I use brigand because I was like, this is how many times in life could I use the word brigand?
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: Like actually use it for a real purpose.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: So what is the definition of brigand, Cody?
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: Uh it's a thief.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: It's also the root word for brigadier.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 2:25SPEAKER_02: Cody says something about Sunday, like, you're using the word brigand.
- 2:27SPEAKER_02: It's like, yeah, it's for me.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: It's just for me.
- 2:29SPEAKER_02: Like, I don't like sometimes I can't do just for me.
- 2:32SPEAKER_03: I was like, this is a great, yeah.
- 2:33SPEAKER_03: It's a great way to do it.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: There's probably five people in that whole thing.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: If you're gonna use the word that appreciated the word brigand, but people are like, that's a strange.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Those are the five that knew the word.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: All of them played Dungeons and Dragons.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, we gotta bring it.
- 2:47SPEAKER_03: Anybody who's played Skyrim or any of those games should know what to bring in it.
- 2:51SPEAKER_03: I can tell you though.
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: But basically parking in Rome with my luggage in the car, I definitely failed my intelligence role.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so yeah.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: It was a one.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, it was a bad one.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: I got a one on that one.
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I should have known better, but I didn't.
- 3:07SPEAKER_03: But no, and and honestly, I mean this is uh Matt and I just laugh about this because you called us, and we're we're I mean, obviously, we're heartbroken for you.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: Because well, let me finish the story.
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: Speaking for him, maybe, but maybe let me finish the story for context.
- 3:22SPEAKER_03: Wasn't laughing at you.
- 3:23SPEAKER_03: We were laughing because even in the worst, well, I'm about to pay you a compliment and you interrupt me.
- 3:28SPEAKER_03: What is wrong with me?
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: I'm not doing it now.
- 3:30SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: No, we were talking about how you have this ability to turn some of the worst situations.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: You're just you're just painfully positive.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: Like in the and I know for both of us, like in the moments of our life where we've had rough times and we call you, you redirect, you're like, hey, you got this, it's all gonna be good, God's got this.
- 3:49SPEAKER_03: And I think it's cool because even to even on Sunday.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, it super is.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it can't be in the moment.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: It can't be in the moment.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like well, because I think there's a tendency we want to do that, and we want our friends when we go there to go, oh man, that's just so terrible.
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: And there's a good like you do that, it's not like you're like you hurt with us, but there's this there's this element like that I've tried to adopt when people come to me with stuff like that as well, where you're just painfully positive.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: And I think it's cool because this Sunday you're talking about Job, who's going through one of the worst possible situations he could have.
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: And in that moment where he's asking, like, he never turns away from the Lord, he always redirects and focuses on God, and God continually reminds him of his place.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: And so, like, I just thought it was cool because it is a great way to tie in Job, like to talk about your own, you know, hey, this is there's there's literally nothing you could have done.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: Like, there's nothing you could have done.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: You can't take all of your all of your belongings from the car into you know the restaurant with you that are packed away.
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: You can't prevent somebody from breaking the windows, breaking into the vehicle, stealing stuff.
- 5:01SPEAKER_03: That really, I mean, we which we you laughed about was the worst part is it doesn't have any value.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: Like they're gonna go and try and sell this for what?
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: Like it's pointless.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: So, like you have no control over that, but in the midst of that, you just have to stay positive, you have to stay on track, and like I think that's I thought it was cool, cool tie-in.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: So I am struggling though, because like last trip to Italy, they destroyed my suitcase that was brand new, like destroyed it at the airport.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: This one, they just stole my new suitcase.
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so yeah.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: I like it.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: But you got another one for 100 euros, so I got yeah, small one.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: Yes, very small one.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: Maybe you should buy like a really old suitcase off of Facebook Marketplace.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we I you know, I'm a discount shopper, so we go to TJ Maxx and those type of places to get them as cheap as possible.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: So, you know, it's they still get stolen.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: Uh it is what it is.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: So you guys were in your hotel, and I was on Facebook Marketplace in Italy trying to find anybody who was selling a suitcase that would take it.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: And that's like they'll get it to you.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: I was like, it's midnight here.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: So it's six o'clock p.m.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: here.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: So like it's like, yeah, yeah, just get it you just go get it.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: And it doesn't work the same with midnight.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: I'm like, man, I'm gonna talk to all of them.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: I will see if we can pay them extra.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: We've got the great case six hours earlier in Italy.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: But no, it was the reason it just happened too late at night for anything to happen.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: And I was leaving at 6 a.m.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: But but, anyways, we're talking about Job.
- 6:24SPEAKER_02: Uh that's what we're talking about.
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: We talked this is a Dungeons and Dragons series this month.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: We use October to talk about the kind of the oddities of scripture, the lesser talked-about things in scripture, and so uh we're talking about Dungeon and Dragon stories from Scripture.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: So we talked about uh a dungeon story with Micaiah, and then we talked this last week, and then we're talking about Job this week, um, fighting the Leviathan um dragon, you know, and I I actually opened a uh magic cards last night and got a Leviathan token.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: So I'm just couldn't use it, but it was cool.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: And um, so just kind of on point.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: So um, but when it comes down to it, like the Leviathan is like a sea monster, a sea dragon, and how Job is basically told by God, like, who are you think you can capture that, touch that, you know, put it on a leash?
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: Like, you're nobody, like, and you're complaining about all this stuff that's happened.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm God, I'm bigger than all your stuff, all the all the things that happened to you, I am bigger, just trust me, have faith in me.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: And Job never turns away, even after losing all of his kids, all of his wealth, all of his animals, all of his livestock, all basically everything.
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: His wife, he loses a relationship with her.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Um, she's against him, and like his friends are against him, the community's against him, and yet he still stays for God.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: And I think the challenge for us in Job, and the reason I think Job's in scripture is that's how we're supposed to be.
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: We are supposed to be that loyal to God in every situation and all the downturns, and just know that he has a better plan.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: Ultimately, Joe, Job is ends up good, you know, because he stays loyal and God rewards him.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: And I think that's the promise of scripture in the New Testament is if we stay the course, there is a there's a great reward for all of us, and that's called heaven.
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: So which is way more blessing than what we have here on earth.
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: But we tend to forget that and we as we wallow in the mud.
- 8:09SPEAKER_03: I I one of the things that I've always I mean, I know that this is like a very dense uh passage of scripture with a lot to like pull out because there's so much that happens in Job to tie into who God is in relation to us.
- 8:25SPEAKER_03: And one of the things personally I just have always struggled with is that God doesn't just like erase everything that happened, it still happened.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: Like God just provides him with a new like a new thing, yeah.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: Right, and it's it's not like hey, that yeah, this all still happened, like you lost all this stuff and it's awful, and you went through it, but because you trusted in me, I'm gonna give you a new good to focus on.
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: And like, and when it comes down to it, I think that a lot of times that is the message that I've needed to hear.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: Not that God is gonna go, like, God's not gonna go back in time and rewrite the the wrongs that have happened or things that I've gone.
- 9:06SPEAKER_03: He's still lost, like there's still an immense amount of suffering that happens, but in the midst of faithfulness and being true, like God replace doesn't replace but brings something new that is good into his life that um that shows God's goodness to us when we're faithful.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: It's not like a vending machine, though.
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: It's not like you go, I'm faithful, I'd like before like you know, like it just doesn't work like that.
- 9:37SPEAKER_03: So God's faithfulness is a result of what God chooses or God's goodness to us is what God chooses, and we have to be faithful and loyal regardless of the circumstance.
- 9:48SPEAKER_03: Because you know, for me, I was always like, oh man, well, he still lost his kids.
- 9:52SPEAKER_03: Like I that's the thing I can't reconcile.
- 9:54SPEAKER_03: It's like you don't ever like you just don't ever get over that.
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: But with faithfulness, God trains you, you know, to be appreciative and grateful for the next blessing that you get.
- 10:04SPEAKER_03: And I think that's you know, I think that for for the people who deal with that, you know, it's like, hey, yeah, this this pain still exists, it's not gonna go away.
- 10:14SPEAKER_03: But when you're faithful, like God is going to give you a new blessing, and like and it won't ever replace that, and you're always gonna have that, but you're gonna have an appreciation for this and God's blessing even more, you know.
- 10:26SPEAKER_03: So I don't know, that's the thought.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: I think for me, the the key word you used there was pain, because whenever I've preached through Job before or talked about it, or even just read it for myself in different situations and circumstances, one of the things that has always stuck out to me is he's covered in these boils and in these lesions.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: And so he's sitting there in ashes and he takes a shard of broken pottery and he starts scraping it down, these boils and these lesions.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And I was preaching that one time, and somebody asked me after church, why would he want to do that?
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Why would you be covered in these sores and want to take that across there?
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: I said, he wanted it to just hurt differently than it currently did.
- 11:10SPEAKER_00: I said, when you're dealing with that level of pain and grief and agony and suffering, any pain that feels different in some ways is a relief from the pain you're currently experiencing.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: And that is one of the most powerful illustrations I feel in Job is that it's not just a matter of, well, God's gonna bless you and then everything's fine.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: I am certain that when Job came out the other side of it, he still had scars.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: He still had physical scars, emotional scars, meant like he was wounded in a number of ways.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: But instead of God saying, I'm gonna take away these scars, I'm gonna make you look completely perfect as if none of this ever happened, it was I'm gonna treat you and care for you and walk through this with you.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: I was there for you the whole time.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: You stayed true to me, and I'm not gonna give you a replacement, like what you were saying, of what you had had before.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna give you something different.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean that there's not gonna still be, you know, reactions that you've had based on whatever.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean that your relationships are gonna be healed immediately.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: But what it does mean is that as you're moving forward, you're gonna be able to look back at this and say, yeah, that really hurt.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: There was a ton of pain associated with all of that.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: But God, you're bigger, you're greater, you're stronger, and I know you're gonna get me through.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's you know, we talk a lot about we live our new normal.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: Like when bad things happen, when life happens, we have to figure out the new normal.
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: And Job had to live the new normal.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: God didn't fix everything like it never happened.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: He just he re moved Joe Job forward with him.
- 12:41SPEAKER_02: And so you're still gonna have the scars, you're still gonna have the stuff, but like you're gonna and you're gonna be able to still have a good, healthy, happy existence where you're blessed.
- 12:50SPEAKER_02: And I think we've all been through stuff.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: I mean, you right now have one arm, um, you you have one lung, and you know, I I've buried two children, so when it comes down to it, we all got scars.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: So, like, but God is still good and we still have a good relationship, and life is still good, even even in the midst that we've had all this bad stuff happen to us.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: And I think that's where you have to be faithful and stay connected to the to our savior and trust him, and trust him above the dragons, the the scary things that happened in life that kind of set us aside and and and maybe d distract us from the the correct path.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: And I I mean the promise of Job is not that we're gonna be rich and wealthy, and the the promise of Job that is that our God is faithful and we need to remain faithful to him, just the same.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: I think there's a cool historical piece too when we look at like the the culture that was reading this for the first time in that world, the gods, you know, quote unquote gods, we're were capricious and evil.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: Like, and the whole point was they would sacrifice and sacrifice and they would give, and it was just to keep the gods from basically obliterating them.
- 13:54SPEAKER_03: And in this, like God not only says, Hey, I'm in charge of everything, and I don't answer to you, but also you went through all this and I still love you and I'm gonna bless you.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: What what and it was such a dichotomy from the gods of the ancient world that they would have that they the people would have worshipped, you know, that this idea that like we've just got to appease the gods and we have to make sure, like we don't want them to stomp on us.
- 14:17SPEAKER_03: And God really, really completely changes that that that ideology and that narrative to to go, no, I'm not a god that's evil and capricious.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: When you're faithful, when you're loyal, like this is how I treat you, this is how I love you, is by by not just pulling the rug out from under you and and laughing at your pain, but restoring you and and bringing goodness when there's suffering and there's pain.
- 14:42SPEAKER_03: And I think that's a piece that we don't always hear because we don't think of it, we don't think how the original readers would have read it either, right?
- 14:48SPEAKER_03: And their context, but that that the ancient world was was full of that.
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: This idea that the gods were angry and evil.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: I mean, look at look at Homer and the Odyssey.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: This is a big popular movie right now.
- 14:59SPEAKER_02: But like Homer was writing about how Ulysses was basically loyal to the gods and they just toy with him and play with him, and they sit him what for 20 years or whatever, uh lost and like fighting all these monsters and losing everything.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: It's kind of like a joke story, everything is bad, but at the end of the day, gods, the gods are just messing with him.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: Like, it's like, how much can we do to this guy?
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: How much can we torture?
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: Well, Odysseus was faithful, right?
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so like when it comes down to when it comes down to all the apps, Odysseus, not Ulysses.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: That's different.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: So when it comes down to it, like when you when you look at it, like that is not our God.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: Our God is different, our God is loving and kind and loyal to those who love him and and bring blessing, and like he's faithful is is an even better word than loyal.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: He's faithful to us.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: And that is at the same time that you know Job has experienced this, we have all these ancient world things that are happening.
- 15:51SPEAKER_02: We see how different Jehovah, the God Yahweh, is than the rest of the false gods.
- 15:56SPEAKER_02: And that's why we have a God we can look to and rely upon, even when the dragons are up against us.
- 16:01SPEAKER_03: And fast forward to the New Testament, right?
- 16:03SPEAKER_03: Where Jesus comes and establishes that he's not just for the Jews, right?
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: He's not just for his chosen people, he's for everyone.
- 16:11SPEAKER_03: And it's a it's a willing choice, right?
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: You you have to choose to be in relationship with me and to have this loyalty that's that's both ways, where you decide you're gonna commit to me and I have committed to you.
- 16:23SPEAKER_03: Like I it's not exclusive, it doesn't, you know, and and I think the the reason that that message uh permeates all the way from Job to now is because that same loving, loyal God desires a relationship with all of us and has always wanted what's best for us and wanted us to pursue him.
- 16:44SPEAKER_03: And so that path of like how do we figure out like when we talk about like a modern-day Job, how does in the old testament into the new, there's all parallels, right?
- 16:54SPEAKER_03: There's all parallels.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: It's it's hey, listen, do you serve Jesus just because of the reward or do you serve him in spite?
- 17:02SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 17:02SPEAKER_03: Do you serve him when things are terrible?
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: Do you do you love the Lord?
- 17:06SPEAKER_03: Like, or do you just as this the soonest?
- 17:08SPEAKER_03: It's like the disciples in the boat when there's the storm, right?
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: Like, Lord, Lord, why would you let us perish?
- 17:14SPEAKER_03: And he and he just calms the storm.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: And it it's it's not just a testament to Jesus' power, it's also a testament to the idea that like they when we we we trust God takes care of things.
- 17:24SPEAKER_03: Like when we when we're faithful and loyal and and pursuing the Lord, it changes kind of the way that we see him in relationship to us.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: Because at the end of Job, there's this very like humanly unsatisfying answer that God gives, right?
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: It's not this like, well, this happened because this, this, and this.
- 17:44SPEAKER_03: God doesn't actually answer him.
- 17:45SPEAKER_03: He says, like, do you own the cattle on a thousand hillsides?
- 17:48SPEAKER_03: Do you tame the Leviathan?
- 17:49SPEAKER_03: Like, is the behemoth your you know, like all these all these things, like he doesn't say, this is why this happened, Job.
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: He he doesn't even give him an answer.
- 17:57SPEAKER_03: He says, I'm God.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: And like, that's good enough.
- 18:00SPEAKER_03: I'm God, and you're not, and you're not, and that's good enough.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: And I think a lot of the faith questions we have end up having an answer similar to that, where we need a perspective shift more than we need the answer we're asking.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, where we need to see it differently, see that God's got a plan.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: We all have questions, and I think we're supposed to ask those questions and be curious and try and understand, but sometimes you won't get an answer.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: But in our lives, as we've seen, we've seen God be faithful and follow through and still provide for us.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: We try to demand an answer of why when we should just trust that God loves us and has a plan for us, and we need to be faithful and believe that He's faithful.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: That's the that's the real story.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: Job wanted a why.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: They wanted an answer, and they never got an answer.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: God just said, I'm God, and I love you, and I'm God, trust me, I've got a better plan.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: And so you know that's that's ultimately where we have to end any situation around a health situation, relationship situation, financial situation, emotional situation, career situation.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Like you just gotta trust God.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: He he's got a plan.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: It may take a while for you to see it come to fruition, but he's got a plan.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: So yeah.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: So trust God, have faith.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: Recognize we all have a little bit of Job in us, and we all are fighting some dragons.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: Peace.
