Neil is qualified in Dentistry, Law and a retired five year member of the Faculty of Advocates. Neil qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 1991 from the University of Glasgow. Whilst in practice as a General Dental Practitioner for 13 years Neil obtained a Law degree in 2003, with an interest in pursuing a career in medico-legal/dento-legal work. Neil obtained a diploma in legal practice and after a period as a solicitor he embarked upon a one year devilling course at the Faculty of Advocates.
