- 1:00Speaker 2: So we got a lot of entrepreneurs that listen and
- 1:02Speaker 2: obviously people have their personal credit and a lot of
- 1:05Speaker 2: these entrepreneurs hubs apply for business credit. Can you talk
- 1:08Speaker 2: to them about the importance and the impact that your
- 1:10Speaker 2: personal credit can have on your business and how long
- 1:13Speaker 2: it takes to establish a healthy business credit loan.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah, And the great thing is the impact that it
- 1:19Speaker 3: could have. Man is like you know, that's the main
- 1:23Speaker 3: reason why got credit entered back into the world of
- 1:26Speaker 3: business credit. You know, we did it back in the day.
- 1:28Speaker 3: We didn't we didn't know that there was a need
- 1:30Speaker 3: for it. But just like Ian sev four, you know,
- 1:33Speaker 3: a lot of entrepreneurs were born. You know, a lot
- 1:36Speaker 3: of people started businesses over these last couple of years,
- 1:40Speaker 3: and there's going to be more. Now. Here's the thing.
- 1:42Speaker 3: If you have great credit. I wish I would have
- 1:44Speaker 3: known this when I opened my business back in twenty ten.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Instead of using your personal credit to start your business
- 1:51Speaker 3: or to grow your business, you could do it with
- 1:54Speaker 3: you know, you're going to get an inquiry anyway. And
- 1:56Speaker 3: here's the thing. Everybody always says, Oh, I don't want
- 1:57Speaker 3: to do business. I don't want to do a PG,
- 1:59Speaker 3: which is a personal guarantee. Oh I don't want to
- 2:01Speaker 3: do a personal credit check for that credit card. Well,
- 2:04Speaker 3: weren't you going to do the credit check for your
- 2:05Speaker 3: personal anyway, Like, weren't you going to apply for that
- 2:08Speaker 3: car on your personal credit anyway? So here's the thing.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Start.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Let if you're a new business or you have no
- 2:14Speaker 3: business credit, but you have great business credit, you could
- 2:17Speaker 3: use that to leverage business credit. You were already going
- 2:20Speaker 3: to apply for a credit card.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Use your personal credit to leverage the business credit.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Right And that's the importance is that you can use
- 2:26Speaker 3: it you were. So here's the thing. If you were
- 2:28Speaker 3: going to get an American Express credit card and you've
- 2:30Speaker 3: never had one before, but you were gonna get one
- 2:33Speaker 3: on your personal credit, and you know you're going to
- 2:35Speaker 3: open a business, don't get an American Express on your
- 2:38Speaker 3: personal credit. Just open your LLC and get that American
- 2:42Speaker 3: Express on the business side you were already going to
- 2:44Speaker 3: do with Inkory anyway. But now the great thing is
- 2:47Speaker 3: that doesn't show you want to maintain and keep that
- 2:50Speaker 3: seven fifty. And the thing is, you know, I wore
- 2:52Speaker 3: the new balances to the kickball game, you know what
- 2:54Speaker 3: I mean? And I do appreciate you guys being there.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It meant so much to have you guys there, and
- 2:59Speaker 3: I wore the white new balances because you know, the
- 3:02Speaker 3: thing is, you could you could have a three thousand
- 3:04Speaker 3: dollars outfit on and get denied for a five hundred
- 3:07Speaker 3: dollars credit card, you know, which we see a lot.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And the thing is, it's like, you want to have
- 3:11Speaker 3: a three thousand dollars outfit, that's great, but just make
- 3:14Speaker 3: sure that you know that you can either put it
- 3:16Speaker 3: on a credit card or get approved for a credit
- 3:18Speaker 3: card with the same amount. And I wore the new
- 3:21Speaker 3: balances because that signifies good credit. You know, you see,
- 3:24Speaker 3: you know, you see the older guys with those new
- 3:26Speaker 3: balances like, oh my god, yeah, that guy got good credit.
- 3:29Speaker 3: But the thing is is if you use your personal
- 3:31Speaker 3: credit to leverage and to get more business credit, even
- 3:34Speaker 3: in the first two years of business, think about it,
- 3:37Speaker 3: You're never going to have bad credit because you're never
- 3:41Speaker 3: going to have debt on your personal credit. And I
- 3:43Speaker 3: think that's the biggest thing where people don't realize that
- 3:46Speaker 3: you might have to do a personal guarantee, you might
- 3:49Speaker 3: have to get a personal credit check, you might have
- 3:51Speaker 3: to run your credit the first couple of times. But
- 3:53Speaker 3: guess what four years later down the road, you might
- 3:56Speaker 3: not have to, you know what I mean. And I
- 3:58Speaker 3: think that's the most powerful thing when it comes to
- 4:00Speaker 3: personal and business credit.
- 4:02Speaker 5: What are like the two biggest mistakes you see entrepreneurs
- 4:05Speaker 5: making when they're trying to establish their business credit.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I would say the probably the most the biggest one,
- 4:13Speaker 3: and it's the simplest is using their home address for everything.
- 4:17Speaker 3: It's the easiest change you could do. You know, get
- 4:20Speaker 3: a virtual address. Go to Regis, go to Opus, you know,
- 4:23Speaker 3: get an actual business address if you don't have a
- 4:27Speaker 3: brick and mortar, so like, if you have a brick
- 4:28Speaker 3: and mortar building, use that address. You know what I mean.
- 4:32Speaker 3: If you open your business with your home address and
- 4:34Speaker 3: you end up getting a brick and mortar a year
- 4:36Speaker 3: down the road, change the address, Change you with the irs,
- 4:39Speaker 3: change you with the state, Change it with your bank account,
- 4:41Speaker 3: change you with all your vendors, all your creditors right now,
- 4:44Speaker 3: even now, if you don't have a home address when
- 4:48Speaker 3: you started your business and you're starting a fresh get
- 4:50Speaker 3: the virtual address first. And the reason why I say
- 4:52Speaker 3: this is the most common thing is because you know,
- 4:54Speaker 3: with credit being such a risk factor, you know, if
- 4:58Speaker 3: you're a pizzeria and you're using your home address for everything, like,
- 5:01Speaker 3: it looks a little you know, it looks a little suspicious,
- 5:03Speaker 3: like wait a minute, you're making the pieches in your
- 5:04Speaker 3: living room or you're making them at the shop. You know,
- 5:06Speaker 3: if you're a landscaper, if you're a plumber, you know,
- 5:09Speaker 3: using your home address is the biggest thing. And I
- 5:12Speaker 3: say the second biggest thing that I would say that
- 5:14Speaker 3: people make mistakes on is using too much of their
- 5:17Speaker 3: personal credit when they have good credit instead of actually
- 5:20Speaker 3: using business credit cards. So and I'll explain what that means.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Is like, if you have a fifteen thousand dollars Capital
- 5:27Speaker 3: One credit card, right or a Chase credit card or
- 5:29Speaker 3: American Express credit card, you can get that in the
- 5:32Speaker 3: business name. And let's say, as an entrepreneur, you know
- 5:36Speaker 3: in the beginning, when you first start your business, you
- 5:38Speaker 3: have expenses, you have health insurance, you have payroll, you
- 5:40Speaker 3: have you know, costs, you have computers, whatever case is.
- 5:43Speaker 3: But if you put that all on a personal credit
- 5:46Speaker 3: card when you first start your business, you know what happens,
- 5:48Speaker 3: even if you have nothing negative, you just put fifteen
- 5:51Speaker 3: twenty thousand dollars on a credit card, your score goes down. Now,
- 5:54Speaker 3: if you need to use your credit for something else
- 5:56Speaker 3: down the road, you can't because your credit score just
- 5:58Speaker 3: went down eighty to one hundred poin point. So now
- 6:01Speaker 3: you're putting yourself in a disadvantage by not leveraging or
- 6:05Speaker 3: using business credit. You know, if you put that fifteen
- 6:07Speaker 3: twenty thousand dollars on your business credit cards that doesn't
- 6:11Speaker 3: show up on your personal you can rack up thirty
- 6:13Speaker 3: forty fifty thousand dollars. Your score is never going to
- 6:15Speaker 3: go down, you know what I mean? So not using
- 6:17Speaker 3: a virtual address or a business address is the one,
- 6:21Speaker 3: and then using their personal debt. Now here's the thing.
- 6:24Speaker 3: What if you can't get a proof for business credit
- 6:26Speaker 3: cards all right? Then no, you have to use your
- 6:28Speaker 3: personal credit cards to start and then just know, come
- 6:31Speaker 3: to the business side of the business credit cards later.
- 6:33Speaker 3: So don't be afraid. But if you have access to it,
- 6:36Speaker 3: definitely use the business credit cards versus a personal.
- 6:39Speaker 6: So another column misconception, correct me if I'm wrong, is
- 6:44Speaker 6: in order to get business credit, you.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Don't necessarily have to make money as a business. Right.
- 6:49Speaker 4: You can get business credit without making a profit as
- 6:52Speaker 4: a business.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Correct, Right, and there's a lot of you know, a
- 6:57Speaker 3: lot of people tiptoe in the gray area of that
- 7:00Speaker 3: because what they'll do is their business has zero revenue,
- 7:03Speaker 3: but they'll put that they make one hundred and eighty thousand.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Don't do that, you know what I mean, you could,
- 7:08Speaker 3: you could put business.
- 7:11Speaker 6: Don't don't do that because there's been an uptick in
- 7:13Speaker 6: unanthropized FBI agents.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Yeah, don't want to these days.
- 7:18Speaker 6: So yeah, don't don't do any fraudulent behavior, but explain,
- 7:23Speaker 6: explain the correct way to do it.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And the thing is so like, let's say, if you
- 7:26Speaker 3: know you have a business, right you're starting a business
- 7:29Speaker 3: and you're applying for your first business credit card, whether
- 7:32Speaker 3: it's American Express, Chase, doesn't matter what it is, right,
- 7:35Speaker 3: and it says business revenue. It also acts for your
- 7:39Speaker 3: personal revenue. So if your personal revenue on W two
- 7:44Speaker 3: on provable income is eighty thousand, put eighty thousand. Don't
- 7:47Speaker 3: put one hundred thousand if you know you're not going
- 7:49Speaker 3: to make an extra twenty thousand dollars that year. To
- 7:51Speaker 3: back it up. Now, on the business side, right one,
- 7:54Speaker 3: always concerned with your account and your attorney whenever you
- 7:57Speaker 3: have any questions when it comes to like income. The
- 8:00Speaker 3: thing is though, is like let's say if you know
- 8:03Speaker 3: you are you have projects lined up, you have guaranteed contracts,
- 8:07Speaker 3: right so, you haven't made any money right now, you
- 8:11Speaker 3: haven't made any money today. But if you know within
- 8:14Speaker 3: the next twelve months you have a guaranteed contract coming
- 8:17Speaker 3: in of like eighty thousand, one hundred thousand, or whatever
- 8:20Speaker 3: the case is, you know that could be attacked that
- 8:22Speaker 3: you can use. And like I said, get with your accountant,
- 8:24Speaker 3: because now that's future receivables. You haven't actually received it yet.
- 8:28Speaker 3: But if you don't have anything, put zero. And so
- 8:31Speaker 3: what if you get a proof for a ten thousand
- 8:33Speaker 3: dollars credit card? At least you got to prove for
- 8:34Speaker 3: a credit card. The people the reason why people put
- 8:37Speaker 3: a higher limit is that way they can get I mean,
- 8:39Speaker 3: the higher amount is so they can get a higher limit.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Don't do it, you know what I mean, Because then
- 8:43Speaker 3: it's like gray area. You know you're gonna start tell oh, yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 3: put eighty thousand, putt ninety and you didn't really make it.
- 8:48Speaker 3: What happens when they say, hey, man, you know what,
- 8:50Speaker 3: we want to see a copy of your p and
- 8:51Speaker 3: L statement, your TAXI terms, which business, which business accounts
- 8:55Speaker 3: can do, business credit cards can do. What happens when
- 8:58Speaker 3: you don't even have a P and L statement, which
- 9:00Speaker 3: is a profit and law statement for your business. What
- 9:02Speaker 3: happens when you don't even have a bank account or
- 9:04Speaker 3: need revenue you know what I mean? They can shut
- 9:06Speaker 3: you down, flag you. So it's like never tiptoe in
- 9:09Speaker 3: the gray area. If you have to question it, don't
- 9:11Speaker 3: do it. So if you don't make if you're starting
- 9:13Speaker 3: your business and it's no revenue but zero, it's the
- 9:17Speaker 3: best thing to do.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Like you said, Also, what people fail and realize is
- 9:20Speaker 6: that most people that start businesses they have a job,
- 9:26Speaker 6: like very rarely just go cold turkey and start a
- 9:31Speaker 6: business that makes no revenue, and because then you'll be homeless. Right,
- 9:34Speaker 6: So it's like they're going to use your personal information anyway.
- 9:38Speaker 6: So you list your personal information as far as like
- 9:42Speaker 6: how much you're actually making at your job or how
- 9:45Speaker 6: much you're making you know, salary or whatever. So like
- 9:48Speaker 6: you said, if you're making one hundred and twenty thousand
- 9:50Speaker 6: dollars a year, if you have an eight hundred, I'm
- 9:52Speaker 6: just using it. If you have an eight hundred credit score.
- 9:55Speaker 6: Your business might not be that profitable, but they still
- 9:58Speaker 6: might link. They still might open up business credit for
- 10:01Speaker 6: you based off of your personal profile.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Right, have one.
- 10:05Speaker 6: Hundred thousand dollars saved? Like these are things that you know.
- 10:09Speaker 6: A ten thousand dollars line of credit is not going
- 10:11Speaker 6: to pretty much be detrimental five thousand dollars and it
- 10:15Speaker 6: might not be a lot.
- 10:16Speaker 4: But like you said, than nothing.
- 10:18Speaker 6: So it doesn't necessarily mean that just because you have
- 10:22Speaker 6: no business income, that you have no income. Right, most,
- 10:25Speaker 6: but a lot of people aren't entrepreneurs, so they always
- 10:28Speaker 6: look at the most pestimistic thing.
- 10:31Speaker 7: Earners, what's up? You ever walk into a small business

- 13:19Speaker 4: You need possible.
- 13:20Speaker 6: And then like, of course, if you have no business income,
- 13:23Speaker 6: then how could you list income.
- 13:24Speaker 4: That's fraud.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Obviously, if you have no business income, you probably have
- 13:28Speaker 6: some sort of other income.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Sometimes life you just have to use common sense, right,
- 13:33Speaker 4: if you have to comment anymore. So, so just you know,
- 13:37Speaker 4: just just think about it.
- 13:39Speaker 6: But like I said, start in a business that can
- 13:43Speaker 6: be discouraging and doesn't necessarily mean that you're not going
- 13:46Speaker 6: to be able to get a million dollars probably, but
- 13:48Speaker 6: you might be able to get a couple of thousand,
- 13:49Speaker 6: and then you use that and then that helps build
- 13:51Speaker 6: your profile as well.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And the great thing is once you start making money,
- 13:55Speaker 3: and if you ever want a credit limit increase, you know,
- 13:57Speaker 3: for instance, like American Express, right, even if you have
- 14:01Speaker 3: a charge card with no limit, but you have a
- 14:03Speaker 3: preset spending limit of let's say fifty thousand dollars, sixty
- 14:06Speaker 3: thousand dollars. Whenever you request a limit increase with American Express,
- 14:11Speaker 3: a lot of the times they're going to request a
- 14:13Speaker 3: bank statement, a profit and law statement. Financials write things
- 14:16Speaker 3: like that tax return. So let's say if you do
- 14:18Speaker 3: start off with ten thousand dollars, twenty thousand dollars, just
- 14:21Speaker 3: keep using it, keep using it, and then every six
- 14:24Speaker 3: months just asks for limit increase and be like, hey, listen,
- 14:26Speaker 3: when I started off, I didn't have any revenue, but
- 14:28Speaker 3: guess what my business blew up. I made three hundred
- 14:31Speaker 3: thousand dollars in the last six months because of leveraging
- 14:34Speaker 3: your card. Is there any way you guys can give
- 14:36Speaker 3: me a limit increase? You can request the amount when
- 14:38Speaker 3: you when you request and increase your precess spending limit
- 14:41Speaker 3: with an American Express, you can put the amount and if
- 14:43Speaker 3: your financials justify that limit, they'll give it to you.
- 14:47Speaker 3: You know what I mean. That's the best thing is
- 14:49Speaker 3: you don't got to lie in an application because it's
- 14:51Speaker 3: better to start it off right and then work your
- 14:53Speaker 3: way up. Because what if I give you right now,
- 14:56Speaker 3: if American Express gives you a three hundred thousand dollars
- 14:59Speaker 3: credit card, you have no revenue, then you max it out,
- 15:03Speaker 3: then what happens how you're going to pay it back?
- 15:05Speaker 4: That's the why I want to go to those because
- 15:07Speaker 4: that's the other part.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Right, you might get that credit increase right you max
- 15:11Speaker 2: it out, but then there becomes the negligence and so
- 15:13Speaker 2: now when the payments are due, you can't payment pay
- 15:16Speaker 2: it right.
- 15:16Speaker 4: And so when you do that on the personal side,
- 15:18Speaker 4: your credit score goes down. But then the business side
- 15:21Speaker 4: correct me if I'm wrong. But your Dune's number gets
- 15:23Speaker 4: to effected, right, do you explain with that process?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Yeah, So typically the majority of your credit cards will
- 15:32Speaker 3: actually report to Experience Business, and then your other net
- 15:36Speaker 3: thirties and vehicles will typically report to done in Bradstreet, right,
- 15:40Speaker 3: So good and bad thing is The bad thing is
- 15:42Speaker 3: that typically American Express or like Visa Master cards won't
- 15:48Speaker 3: report to dune in Bradstreet. I'm not saying all of them,
- 15:50Speaker 3: but typically a lot of them won't, which is good.
- 15:53Speaker 3: And that's your dun's number, and that's your paid explore. Right.
- 15:55Speaker 3: So you know you have Equifax Experience TransUnion in the
- 15:58Speaker 3: personal side. On the business side, you have Equifax Business,
- 16:02Speaker 3: Experience Business, and then you have done in Brasstreet. So
- 16:05Speaker 3: that's why we like nab dot com because it does
- 16:07Speaker 3: track everything, and Experience Business is typically going to have
- 16:11Speaker 3: like your credit cards, right, they don't report to all
- 16:14Speaker 3: three like how your regular American Express does. On your
- 16:18Speaker 3: personal side. You know, it does report to different bureaus
- 16:22Speaker 3: and they all have different factors. Right, Your Experience Business
- 16:24Speaker 3: only goes up to one hundred points, and so does
- 16:27Speaker 3: your Paidex score. It only goes up to one hundred points.
- 16:30Speaker 3: And typically you'll have anywhere between eighty two one hundred,
- 16:33Speaker 3: as long as you pay your bills on time, you know.
- 16:36Speaker 3: So if you pay your bills on time, typically it's
- 16:38Speaker 3: net thirty. As long as you pay them between one
- 16:40Speaker 3: in thirty days, you'll have typically an eighty paid X score,
- 16:45Speaker 3: you know. And the great thing is is that a
- 16:47Speaker 3: lot of the times the balances won't always affect your
- 16:51Speaker 3: PAIDEX or your Experience business score, you know. So that's
- 16:54Speaker 3: a great thing. The thing is, though, if you have
- 16:56Speaker 3: everything maxed out, then it's going to hurt you. But
- 16:58Speaker 3: if you have like one or two account it's not
- 17:01Speaker 3: really going to hurt you as bad as let's say,
- 17:02Speaker 3: you know, let's say if you have a target credit
- 17:04Speaker 3: card and that's the only credit card max out on
- 17:07Speaker 3: your credit report, your score is going to go down,
- 17:10Speaker 3: even though your overall credit is okay. That one credit
- 17:13Speaker 3: cards maxed out, it's gonna hurt you. The great thing
- 17:15Speaker 3: is in the business side, it doesn't affect you like
- 17:17Speaker 3: the same way.
- 17:19Speaker 5: What are the two or three credit cards entrepreneurs should
- 17:22Speaker 5: apply for that gives them a good probability of getting
- 17:24Speaker 5: a line of credit without having a you know, having
- 17:28Speaker 5: a ton of revenue in their businesses.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Yet, so when you say line of credit, do you
- 17:31Speaker 3: mean like a credit card like American Cars credit card. Okay,
- 17:35Speaker 3: So even though this credit card reports to the personal side,
- 17:40Speaker 3: the reason why I like it is because it reports
- 17:44Speaker 3: to personal and business and if you have blemish credit,
- 17:48Speaker 3: they still approve you. Which is the Capital One's Spark card.
- 17:51Speaker 3: The reason why I like the Capital One's Spark is
- 17:53Speaker 3: because it's for beginners that have new credit, meaning you
- 17:57Speaker 3: can get approved of like a five eighty six ONS
- 17:59Speaker 3: credit score or even with like charge alls and collections.
- 18:02Speaker 3: And it also reports to your business credit report as well,
- 18:07Speaker 3: you know. So the reason why I like that one
- 18:08Speaker 3: is even like I said, even though it reports to both,
- 18:11Speaker 3: which I would never really suggest it. It's just because
- 18:14Speaker 3: it's a great starter card to get, and that's why
- 18:16Speaker 3: you brought it up, Like which one are they gonna
- 18:18Speaker 3: like to give it to you? Let's say, even if
- 18:20Speaker 3: you get a thousand, two thousand dollars, four thousand dollars,
- 18:22Speaker 3: whatever the case is, it's more than you have before,
- 18:24Speaker 3: just be mindful that if you max it out, it
- 18:27Speaker 3: is going to report to your your personal credit. The
- 18:30Speaker 3: second one I would say for starters is gonna be
- 18:34Speaker 3: your American Express, right. I love American Express typically because
- 18:37Speaker 3: even if you have a charge off or collection, American
- 18:41Speaker 3: Express will still approve you for a business credit card.
- 18:43Speaker 3: You know, I have zero personal cards. You know, I
- 18:46Speaker 3: filed bankruptcy in twenty fourteen, I owed money. I included
- 18:50Speaker 3: them in my bankruptcy a couple of years and a
- 18:53Speaker 3: few years later, I paid them in twenty twenty and
- 18:55Speaker 3: they unlocked me and I was able to get American
- 18:57Speaker 3: Express again. So they're very, very leaning it with people
- 19:01Speaker 3: when it comes to either having blemish credit bankruptcy and
- 19:04Speaker 3: you pay them, or if you're a new business, so
- 19:07Speaker 3: you could literally open up your doors today and open
- 19:10Speaker 3: up your business today and as long as you have
- 19:14Speaker 3: a bank account and a tax ID, get approved for
- 19:16Speaker 3: up to six American Express credit cards tomorrow, which is
- 19:19Speaker 3: a great thing because now you have access to fifty
- 19:23Speaker 3: sixty eighty thousand dollars. And a lot of people come
- 19:26Speaker 3: up to me like, yo, man, I watched your video
- 19:28Speaker 3: on YouTube, on eyl on Instagram, whatever the case is,
- 19:31Speaker 3: not even clients to mine, and they're like, I did
- 19:32Speaker 3: exactly what you said. I applied for American Express and
- 19:35Speaker 3: I got up to six credit cards, and that's what
- 19:36Speaker 3: helped me start my business. So that's the why I
- 19:40Speaker 3: like it, because it's something that's very feasible for a
- 19:46Speaker 3: new entrepreneur or seasoned one. And I would say the
- 19:49Speaker 3: third one which might throw people for a loophole a
- 19:52Speaker 3: little bit is gas cards. And the reason why I
- 19:57Speaker 3: say gas cards is because if like, for instance, right,
- 20:00Speaker 3: I have this gas card right here, right, I'm gonna
- 20:02Speaker 3: cover the number right quick and just happen to have
- 20:04Speaker 3: this gas card right here. It's called a fuelm in
- 20:05Speaker 3: car right this all this fuel in card also has
- 20:09Speaker 3: a master card logo. So now this gas card can
- 20:13Speaker 3: typically work as a master card. Now can I go
- 20:16Speaker 3: to Macy's and buy something with this gas card?
- 20:19Speaker 4: No?
- 20:19Speaker 3: But the thing is is that you could be a
- 20:22Speaker 3: new business. What a typically all businesses need to put
- 20:25Speaker 3: in their car to get to and from to networking? Gas?
- 20:28Speaker 3: What's expensive? Right now? Gas? What is crazy? What? What
- 20:32Speaker 3: do people complain about? Gas? Right? The thing is, if
- 20:35Speaker 3: you have a twenty five thousand dollars credit card that
- 20:37Speaker 3: doesn't report to your personal credit is gas the problem anymore? No?
- 20:41Speaker 3: You just got to find a way to pay it back.
- 20:43Speaker 3: You need, you need to get to invest, vest, and
- 20:45Speaker 3: you don't have money, drive your car and pie costs
- 20:48Speaker 3: you five hundred dolls in gas around trip. What else
- 20:50Speaker 3: can you buy at the gas station? Food, you can buy,
- 20:53Speaker 3: gift cards, you can buy you know. The thing is
- 20:56Speaker 3: if you don't have any Like I use this a
- 20:57Speaker 3: prime example. Right when I was starting my business and
- 21:00Speaker 3: I was driving to Florida for the Credit boot camps,
- 21:04Speaker 3: I would use my gas card. I was allowed up
- 21:06Speaker 3: to fifteen hundred dollars a day inside of the convenience store.
- 21:10Speaker 3: So what I would do is buy fifteen hundred dollars
- 21:12Speaker 3: worth of a one hundred dollar gift cards, and I
- 21:14Speaker 3: would then use my gas card to buy Visa gift
- 21:17Speaker 3: cards and use the Visa gift cards to do what
- 21:20Speaker 3: I had to do. Like that's the life of an entrepreneur.
- 21:22Speaker 3: A lot of people don't realize that sometimes you gotta
- 21:24Speaker 3: think outside the box. So I'd never not had gas,
- 21:27Speaker 3: I'd never not have gift cards, and I could always
- 21:29Speaker 3: use my gas card as well to purchase chips, soda, milk, eggs, bacon, cheese.
- 21:36Speaker 3: And I'm telling you that's what I did back in
- 21:38Speaker 3: like twenty fourteen, fifteen, I was using my gas card
- 21:41Speaker 3: to buy one hundred dollar Visa gift cards and groceries
- 21:45Speaker 3: inside of the convenience store. In the gas station always
- 21:48Speaker 3: had gas. Like where everybody's complaining about gas, I don't
- 21:51Speaker 3: really complain about it because I haven't, you know what
- 21:53Speaker 3: I mean. So Capitol one, Spark, any business American Express card,
- 21:58Speaker 3: and any gas car that usually has a master card
- 22:01Speaker 3: logo like a Fuelman, a BP, you know, an Exxon,
- 22:04Speaker 3: a shell you know, wah wah, those type of gas cards.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Because you always need gas. So as a starting entrepreneur, okay,
- 22:11Speaker 3: you might not have money, you're just starting out, but
- 22:14Speaker 3: you not having a flight shouldn't be a reason why
- 22:17Speaker 3: you can't go to eyl shit, sleep in your car
- 22:19Speaker 3: if you have to, you know what I mean, Like
- 22:21Speaker 3: it's the it's sometimes you gotta struggle and sometimes you
- 22:24Speaker 3: got to go through certain things in order to obtain
- 22:26Speaker 3: the things that you really want, you know what I mean?
- 22:28Speaker 3: If that makes sense. My graduates from my school being
- 22:33Speaker 3: forced back drop b drop Mike drop back drop drop.
