- 2:35Speaker 1: in October, and she will also appear in the next
- 2:38Speaker 1: two installments of the True Justice Mystery franchise. Sharon Lawrence
- 2:43Speaker 1: plays Rita. This is her one hundred and twenty first
- 2:45Speaker 1: acting credit, and she has three additional projects currently in
- 2:49Speaker 1: the works. Hallmark viewers last saw her in the Christmas
- 2:51Speaker 1: House Movies. Since then, she has appeared in the series Dynasty,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Joe Pickett and Walker. Rob Mays plays Jet Wade. This
- 3:00Speaker 1: is his sixty third acting credit and appears to be
- 3:03Speaker 1: his first appearance on Hallmark. He also appeared in a

- 3:46Speaker 1: Susie Bogas, Tiger, Lily Gold and t Graham Brown. We're
- 3:51Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and come right back
- 3:54Speaker 1: with our first impressions. Hey, Wendy, what was your first
- 4:06Speaker 1: impression of a grand ole Opry Christmas? Oh? We got
- 4:09Speaker 1: a top tier Countdown to Christmas contender on our hands.
- 4:13Speaker 1: The bracket participants should be quickening their boots if we
- 4:17Speaker 1: even do it. Okay, go ahead, listen to our listener
- 4:19Speaker 1: mail bag episode this week. My first impression is make
- 4:22Speaker 1: room on that five stars, no nodes bench, Ted Cooper
- 4:26Speaker 1: for sure. What did you like about this movie? Look,
- 4:31Speaker 1: the heart of this movie is not the romance. The
- 4:34Speaker 1: romance was the cherry on top. Yeah. For me, it's
- 4:39Speaker 1: the dad and daughter story. And I cried the entire time. No,
- 4:44Speaker 1: me too. The scenes between Gentry and her dad, especially
- 4:49Speaker 1: when they're like writing the song together and then we
- 4:52Speaker 1: see Mac like filming it, which God, I love that.
- 4:55Speaker 1: These scenes gutted me in the best way, mostly because
- 5:00Speaker 1: she had been plagued with these questions from people from
- 5:03Speaker 1: fans since his death, what happened to your dad? Why
- 5:06Speaker 1: did he stop writing? And she didn't know the answer,
- 5:09Speaker 1: and like, what an incredible story to tell. I just
- 5:14Speaker 1: I just thought it was so unique and good, like
- 5:17Speaker 1: he chose me. Yes, Oh my god. Yeah, that final
- 5:22Speaker 1: scene with him where she's basically saying goodbye and she's
- 5:25Speaker 1: she's kind of giving him permission and reaffirming his choice, Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 1: to leave the duo, leave music, and go be with
- 5:35Speaker 1: his family. And it's so touching, and there's part of
- 5:39Speaker 1: me that will always be like, no, I want him
- 5:42Speaker 1: to know who you are.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I want him to see like.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It was worth it because look who she became.
- 5:48Speaker 2: But it's it's so touching and she hugs him. Oh my,
- 5:52Speaker 2: I was weeping. Oh yeah, when she's yes.
- 5:57Speaker 1: They just have they just connect, They just they get
- 6:00Speaker 1: each other and she gets what she needed in that moment. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I agree. I want to say I talked about this
- 6:08Speaker 1: in our pop Culture Club episode on Patreon where we
- 6:11Speaker 1: talked a little bit about Hallmark this week, But I said, there,
- 6:16Speaker 1: in spite of this movie having all of the perfect ingredients,
- 6:19Speaker 1: for a recipe for success. Chris Ninki Tracy Claire. I
- 6:23Speaker 1: wasn't looking forward to this movie. I'm a nineties country fan,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and I wasn't excited about it, and I can't fully
- 6:30Speaker 1: put my finger on why. And when my husband sat
- 6:33Speaker 1: down to watch this movie, he made a face like, right.
- 6:36Speaker 2: We were both very wrong.
- 6:37Speaker 1: And I knew before watching, based on the first impressions
- 6:41Speaker 1: we were seeing on Instagram that I would be wrong
- 6:45Speaker 1: because enough people were raving about this movie. Oh that's interesting,
- 6:49Speaker 1: because I thought maybe they were just you know, I'm
- 6:53Speaker 1: a Palaha fan, you know this, But I thought maybe
- 6:57Speaker 1: we were just getting a heavy influx of big fans
- 7:00Speaker 1: of Nikki and Chris and they're like, of course, we
- 7:03Speaker 1: love it. Sure, that could have been a piece of it.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But for me, I watched this a full day after
- 7:07Speaker 1: it came out, and there wasn't a single negative review
- 7:12Speaker 1: in the bunch, and so I went in feeling like,
- 7:16Speaker 1: all right, we may be in for a good time.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And halfway through the movie, I paused and turned to
- 7:20Speaker 1: my husband and said, isn't it better than he anticipated?
- 7:23Speaker 1: And he was practically in tears. Also, he goes, especially
- 7:26Speaker 1: he really loved the father daughter moment. Yeah, you know
- 7:28Speaker 1: them writing songs together. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't say
- 7:33Speaker 1: this lightly. I was fully invested from start to finish.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You know me, Like Hallmark movies lull me to sleep
- 7:39Speaker 1: sometimes sometimes like I just tap out and like I'll
- 7:42Speaker 1: scroll on my phone and then realize the movie's over,
- 7:45Speaker 1: like it happens time and time again, like I was
- 7:48Speaker 1: in it. I was really in it. I love a
- 7:52Speaker 1: time travel twist. I think I've said it before. I
- 7:56Speaker 1: built More Christmas is one of my favorites. Obviously, we
- 7:59Speaker 1: have Chris in that movie, Who's he's so good and charming?
- 8:03Speaker 1: How does this hold up to a bit More Christmas
- 8:05Speaker 1: for you? It's equal, It's equal, it's different, right, you
- 8:09Speaker 1: know the time travel part of it here. I love
- 8:14Speaker 1: the the genre, which I don't say that lightly either,
- 8:17Speaker 1: because you know me, like I hate science fiction and
- 8:19Speaker 1: type stuff. Right, it's not like one point one jiggawats
- 8:23Speaker 1: science fiction. You're right, you're even though that's not really
- 8:26Speaker 1: science fiction either. So I'm always now drawn to like
- 8:30Speaker 1: any kind of Hallmark movie that has a time travel
- 8:32Speaker 1: element to it. But this one here, what I liked
- 8:34Speaker 1: about it is that we get both gentry and mac
- 8:39Speaker 1: traveling back together. Yeah, and there's something really satisfying with
- 8:43Speaker 1: them being like partners in crime, are and mutually confused,
- 8:47Speaker 1: mutually enchanted, mutually terrified at altering the timeline, like that
- 8:52Speaker 1: they're having this shared experience together and not operating alone.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 1: When he time travels, I was really for her. Yeah,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and she's gonna have her buddy there, right, because that,
- 9:04Speaker 1: to me would be the most frustrating part is having
- 9:07Speaker 1: to figure out the logistics of how am I gonna
- 9:09Speaker 1: do this? And I can't talk to anybody about it?
- 9:13Speaker 1: And he really Look, I'm gonna talk about Chris, but
- 9:17Speaker 1: his character just comes up behind her and underneath her
- 9:22Speaker 1: and just supports her throughout this movie. He supports her dreams.
- 9:27Speaker 1: He pawns his watch so that they have money to
- 9:30Speaker 1: spend in the past. I just I really was charmed
- 9:35Speaker 1: by that by him or his character. Well both.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Look.
- 9:42Speaker 1: How good are Chris and Nikki in this movie. Oh,
- 9:44Speaker 1: They're fantastic total stars And I do think I love
- 9:50Speaker 1: I love Chris. I'm really excited for his MGM project.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm excited he's filming a Hallmark movie. I thought it
- 9:55Speaker 1: was really interesting how the Mary Thanksgiving weekend promos had
- 10:00Speaker 1: and they're like Chriss on location and they would cut
- 10:02Speaker 1: back and forth to him. But I just I'm a
- 10:05Speaker 1: big fan. I loved this pairing and I loved the
- 10:11Speaker 1: storyline that they were lifelong friends who have just missed
- 10:13Speaker 1: their chance. Ye're not ex's, They've always been there for
- 10:17Speaker 1: each other and they're just realizing or she's just realizing
- 10:21Speaker 1: he's always probably known who she is to him. But
- 10:26Speaker 1: this is Nicky's story, this is Gentry's story, And I
- 10:34Speaker 1: think Chris does a great job as an actor supporting
- 10:38Speaker 1: Nicki and as a character supporting Gentry. Yeah, there's no
- 10:44Speaker 1: push and pull fight for the spotlight. Yeah, their characters
- 10:47Speaker 1: have this really comfortable, lived in friendship. It made it
- 10:54Speaker 1: completely believable to me. Yeah. I just love them, you know.
- 10:59Speaker 1: And I don't know what I expected going in. I
- 11:01Speaker 1: was like, like you said, I wasn't like that excited
- 11:04Speaker 1: for it. I was just like, Okay, no, they blew
- 11:06Speaker 1: me away. Yeah, blew me away. Here's something that did
- 11:09Speaker 1: surprise me. I really loved the setting at the Opry.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I have not been to Nashville, but I now really
- 11:16Speaker 1: want to go to the Opry, and I felt very
- 11:19Speaker 1: drawn to the location as a character in the movie. Yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and I really was touched by the early scene where
- 11:26Speaker 1: Sharon Lawrence as adult Rita is describing the significance of
- 11:30Speaker 1: the wood flooring on stage from the original Ryman Auditorium
- 11:33Speaker 1: something about that. I saw a clip of that before
- 11:35Speaker 1: the movie aired. Normally, when I see a clip of
- 11:38Speaker 1: a Hallmark movie, I'm not that interested. I'm going to
- 11:43Speaker 1: be honest, I don't find Hallmark promo clips to be
- 11:45Speaker 1: all that compelling, especially when they're like sneak peek.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I'm like, that did nothing for the movie. I thought
- 11:50Speaker 2: that was so touching.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And then at the very end when she gets to
- 11:54Speaker 1: step into it and dedicate the song and the introduce
- 11:58Speaker 1: Brad Paisley coming out to sing her song, I was
- 12:01Speaker 1: really moved by the history of that place and how
- 12:04Speaker 1: important it is to that country music community. So a
- 12:07Speaker 1: couple of things here. I remember talking about it on
- 12:10Speaker 1: an episode we were talking about this movie. I don't know,
- 12:14Speaker 1: we must have been a Headliness episode, and I was like,
- 12:17Speaker 1: I've been to the opera, I've toured the opry I
- 12:19Speaker 1: have not I've toured the Rieman. Oh and so now
- 12:23Speaker 1: understanding like, oh, these two work together, right, Okay, now
- 12:26Speaker 1: I get it now the circle thing in the round,
- 12:29Speaker 1: like the middle thing in the round. I remember there.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Dave girl who's the leasing our food fighters, did a
- 12:36Speaker 1: really cool documentary. I think it was on HBO. I
- 12:40Speaker 1: can't remember the name of it. I will find it
- 12:42Speaker 1: and I will put it in our show notes. But
- 12:44Speaker 1: he did this whole thing in Nashville, and they talked
- 12:47Speaker 1: about being in the round and like how the musicians
- 12:50Speaker 1: like sit in this round circle and like I can't
- 12:53Speaker 1: remember specifically if he was talking about this, like I
- 12:58Speaker 1: don't remember. I don't don't remember. But when it got
- 13:01Speaker 1: brought up in this movie, I was like, oh, this
- 13:04Speaker 1: is ticking some boxes of things like I remember from
- 13:06Speaker 1: the past, and like you was super drawn to the
- 13:09Speaker 1: history of it and wanted to know more. I thought
- 13:12Speaker 1: it was very compelling. Also, in speaking of country music,
- 13:18Speaker 1: I'm a country music girl. Yes, I'm going to confess
- 13:21Speaker 1: that I didn't know all the artists on site, but
- 13:24Speaker 1: I did love all of the singing that we got
- 13:27Speaker 1: and all I liked all of the cameos, and I
- 13:30Speaker 1: think it's very natural. I'm going to talk about it,
- 13:31Speaker 1: and did you see about you know, the location a
- 13:34Speaker 1: little bit more. But I love country. I wasn't expecting
- 13:36Speaker 1: to like a movie about country music. I don't know why,
- 13:39Speaker 1: but I did love all of the singing. I'm gonna
- 13:42Speaker 1: throw something way back and you probably don't know. You
- 13:46Speaker 1: and I we love like nineties country music.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Huh.
- 13:49Speaker 1: This movie nails the throwback vibes almost perfectly. First of all,
- 13:54Speaker 1: our director can't be more than like forty years old. Yeah,
- 13:59Speaker 1: like I think she was probably be born after nineties
- 14:01Speaker 1: country music, did you? I loved the when they walk
- 14:05Speaker 1: into that party, the three of them, and Nikki's in
- 14:09Speaker 1: that like sequin dress with I burst out laughing because
- 14:14Speaker 1: they look good, but they look ridiculous. Can we save it?
- 14:19Speaker 1: Can we save it? Okay? My point is, do you
- 14:22Speaker 1: remember the nineteen ninety five country music movie called Pure
- 14:26Speaker 1: Country and it has George Strait in it? I do it.
- 14:31Speaker 1: This movie reminded me of that, Like if you were
- 14:34Speaker 1: talking like.
- 14:34Speaker 2: They captured the vibe.
- 14:35Speaker 1: They captured the vibe perfectly. Look go back and watch
- 14:39Speaker 1: that movie. I think I've only seen it once. I
- 14:41Speaker 1: don't know if it holds up. I don't couldn't even
- 14:44Speaker 1: tell you what it loves to buy right, it's that
- 14:46Speaker 1: song you can lead a heart to love, but you
- 14:48Speaker 1: can't make it fall is in that movie. I don't know.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I think so.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I don't know, but it had There were things about
- 14:55Speaker 1: this movie. The big hair, the mention of Shania Twain
- 14:59Speaker 1: is in the room with us, like that kind of stuff.
- 15:02Speaker 1: The whole nineties country energy was spot on and I
- 15:07Speaker 1: loved it. I loved it, loved it. Here are some
- 15:11Speaker 1: other things. I liked. Rob Mays as Jet Wade I
- 15:13Speaker 1: thought was excellent casting. I was like, who's this guy? Like,
- 15:17Speaker 1: he played this nineties country dad so perfectly.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Question, Yeah, he's not singing it's Brad. I don't know.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Actually I know that's Brad Paisley's song.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I couldn't find it, but I asked my
- 15:35Speaker 2: house on.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I'm like, that's Brad singing as Ben Wade. I she
- 15:38Speaker 1: zammed it and it did come up as Brad Paisley. Yeah, okay,
- 15:41Speaker 1: that's what I thought. Yeah, I didn't realize he Brad
- 15:43Speaker 1: Paisley has two songs in this movie.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I didn't realize that because he'd been Hallmark's been promoting, like,
- 15:49Speaker 1: you know, the Hallmark Christmas Song of the Season. Basically,
- 15:55Speaker 1: but there were two songs in this movie, yeah, which
- 15:58Speaker 1: then I had to go on to Spotify and I
- 15:59Speaker 1: was like, where can I listen to these? I don't
- 16:03Speaker 1: know if I found them. You said you've never been
- 16:05Speaker 1: to Nashville before. No, they had beautiful, gorgeous shots at
- 16:08Speaker 1: the city, the Batman Building, like you know that, right, Okay?
- 16:13Speaker 1: I thought it was good. The backstage stuff at the operation, like,
- 16:17Speaker 1: none of it felt fake to me. Question, you've been
- 16:20Speaker 1: to bars in Nashville or that opening scene where they're
- 16:24Speaker 1: in Gentry's bar and those guys are in full country gear.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Did that feel genuine to you?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Like really they're like that country Yeah, in the hats
- 16:34Speaker 1: and every That's good to know. Yeah, that's good to us.
- 16:37Speaker 1: The city has so much tourism, but it also has
- 16:39Speaker 1: so many locals too, so like, I mean, yes, there's
- 16:42Speaker 1: people who are like kind of cosplaying a little bit
- 16:45Speaker 1: like where they're they're but I've seen some real cowboys. Yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 1: not cowboys, but you know, you know what I mean,
- 16:51Speaker 1: we're all in Yeah. Yeah, did Gingry's dad know? I
- 16:56Speaker 1: don't know. I part of me is like feel like
- 17:00Speaker 1: he did know that that was her, you know, especially
- 17:03Speaker 1: at the end when he's like asking basically for confirmation,
- 17:07Speaker 1: like was your dad a good dad? Right? What? Uncle
- 17:10Speaker 1: Vaughn knows? Yeah, well yeah, So I'm like, look and
- 17:15Speaker 1: then the aunt aunt Rita, I was like, did she know?
- 17:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I can't and honestly, and you look,
- 17:22Speaker 1: it doesn't even matter. No, it doesn't even matter to me.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I just was curious what you thought my biggest worry
- 17:30Speaker 1: going into this movie, and you talked about it a
- 17:32Speaker 1: little bit where the cameos. I was very worried it
- 17:37Speaker 1: was going to be like a parade of who do
- 17:40Speaker 1: we have here and like a you know, like a
- 17:42Speaker 1: full remember me talking about it like it was gonna
- 17:45Speaker 1: be like a superstar extravaganza, and we got it a
- 17:50Speaker 1: little bit in the Aaron Khill like tour scene. Yeah.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 17:54Speaker 1: It was a little bit like behind this corner we
- 17:56Speaker 1: have this and oh my god, Henry have this and
- 17:59Speaker 1: this is not a I was surprisingly not annoyed by it.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be like every second because
- 18:06Speaker 1: the list was long of it was Harry, are you
- 18:08Speaker 1: ready to move on to wishes?
- 18:10Speaker 2: I got none.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I have two Nikki's silver dress in that party scene
- 18:15Speaker 1: was not it. I looked at who the costume designer
- 18:19Speaker 1: was because I was like, I don't know.
- 18:21Speaker 2: They feel like they did the research.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Me too, me too. But I also felt like that
- 18:25Speaker 1: was a nineties interpretation of what like a country diva
- 18:29Speaker 1: would wear. It leaned to costume me for me a
- 18:33Speaker 1: little bit. Yeah, I did feel like they came in
- 18:35Speaker 1: in costumes. I did laugh out loud when they walked
- 18:37Speaker 1: into that party of three of them. I just thought
- 18:39Speaker 1: they were off the charts. I thought that I can't
- 18:43Speaker 1: even remember, Sorry, Chris, I can't remember what Chris was
- 18:45Speaker 1: wearing at all. Rita, young Rita. I thought her look
- 18:51Speaker 1: nailed nineties. Yeah, it was Nicki's that dress, which is
- 18:54Speaker 1: so I was like, I don't, I don't what is
- 18:56Speaker 1: happening here. If they didn't have that like flower thing
- 18:59Speaker 1: on the front of it, I think it could have
- 19:01Speaker 1: maybe passed. But I don't know. Your other wish somebody
- 19:04Speaker 1: that needs to check on the security guard. I felt
- 19:07Speaker 1: bad for the man. These people are disappearing right in
- 19:09Speaker 1: front of his eyes. It's no big deal. It's no
- 19:11Speaker 1: big deal. Yeah, And even like even when Chris comes back,
- 19:16Speaker 1: like he's just sitting there on the stage, like, nobody
- 19:19Speaker 1: was like, where did this dude come from? By the way,
- 19:21Speaker 1: do you know that security guard's name is big Fella?
- 19:23Speaker 1: I did not.
- 19:24Speaker 2: That's how he's credited on IMDb.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Big Fella Ela. Yep, that's all I have for my wishes.
- 19:29Speaker 1: You have like zero literally zero? Great, let's talk. Did
- 19:32Speaker 1: you see that?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:34Speaker 1: I only have a couple. Okay, one I referenced Chris
- 19:37Speaker 1: wears a red and black shirt. Then he comes on
- 19:40Speaker 1: screen and I was like, look at that shirt and
- 19:42Speaker 1: my husband goes, that's Garth Brooks and I was like,
- 19:44Speaker 1: e pieces and I had to google it man oh man,
- 19:47Speaker 1: and I did Instagram story who wore it better? And
- 19:51Speaker 1: Chris responded, ah, you got it now.
- 19:53Speaker 2: I don't know if it was intentional or not, but
- 19:54Speaker 2: feels like it had to have been.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Feels like it had to have been. Sure. Who can
- 19:58Speaker 1: see that shirt nineties country and not think that Garth
- 20:00Speaker 1: Brooks album cover? I ello weld. When I saw your Instagram,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I didn't put the two together.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Thank you for doing that. I thought it was great.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Thought it was great. One of my digit see that
- 20:14Speaker 1: is when Gentry and Mack are baking cookies. With their
- 20:17Speaker 1: cousin with the cousin Rita. She's the cousin, right, she's
- 20:22Speaker 1: her dad's cousins so she was her aunt, right, Yeah,
- 20:25Speaker 1: that's right. They make the cookie that I make every
- 20:29Speaker 1: single year, which is a peanut butter blossom. Oh uh huh.
- 20:32Speaker 2: We just made them in our house.
- 20:34Speaker 1: You don't put the hershey kiss on the cookie before
- 20:36Speaker 1: it goes in the oven, even notice it would be
- 20:39Speaker 1: a melted puddle. They they had it was rock cookie dough.
- 20:43Speaker 1: They pressed their thumbs in it to make the dnt
- 20:46Speaker 1: and then they put the hirshey kiss on and then
- 20:48Speaker 1: they put it in the oven. And that is not
- 20:49Speaker 1: how you make them. No, it is not you bake
- 20:52Speaker 1: the cookie. You put the kiss on as soon as
- 20:54Speaker 1: they come out of the oven. And that's how they
- 20:57Speaker 1: get that shiny look too. Yeah, And that's when their
- 21:00Speaker 1: best is when they're just out of the oven and
- 21:03Speaker 1: their chocolate's melty on top of it, especially the only
- 21:06Speaker 1: time I like them, once the chocolate has hardened back
- 21:08Speaker 1: into a kiss, not into it.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Huh.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I have more, Yeah, Max. Grandma is named Hilty the writer,
- 21:14Speaker 1: or she's not the writer, she's the yeah, one of
- 21:17Speaker 1: the writers. One of the writers is also named Hilty.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I like, when you put your own name in it.
- 21:24Speaker 1: My next did you see that? And final one is
- 21:26Speaker 1: also about the name Gentry. Kind of love this name,
- 21:31Speaker 1: love this character name. And I was like, well, it
- 21:33Speaker 1: has to have some sort of like country reasoning, some
- 21:37Speaker 1: sort of connection. So I looked it up. I don't know,
- 21:40Speaker 1: this is all I found. There was a female artist
- 21:44Speaker 1: in the US in the late sixties who rose to
- 21:47Speaker 1: fame and her name was Bobby Gentry. She was a songwriter,
- 21:50Speaker 1: And I thought maybe. And then in the late nineties,
- 21:53Speaker 1: early two thousand, there was a country duo group named
- 21:58Speaker 1: Montgomery Gentry. Sure, but this would have been like later.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I don't know, it doesn't matter, but yeah, maybe they
- 22:04Speaker 1: took inspirations on that. Yeah. Yeah, do you have any
- 22:07Speaker 1: other did you see that?
- 22:08Speaker 2: Yeah? I have a couple.
- 22:09Speaker 1: They're not digite that, They're just fun facts. I really
- 22:12Speaker 1: enjoyed the tributes that Nicki and Chris did to each
- 22:14Speaker 1: other on their Instagram, throwing it back to their first
- 22:17Speaker 1: project together, North Shore, many many many years ago. Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Also, I thought this was very interesting.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I read an interview with Nicki talking about filming at
- 22:27Speaker 1: the Opry and the opry was still functioning daily as
- 22:31Speaker 1: they were filming, So she says her call time would
- 22:34Speaker 1: be nine pm for hair and makeup. We wouldn't be
- 22:36Speaker 1: able to start shooting until after the tours backstage were
- 22:39Speaker 1: done and the show was over. Sometimes that would be
- 22:43Speaker 1: eleven and sometimes that would be midnight. Then we would
- 22:45Speaker 1: shoot all the way until the next day at eleven am,
- 22:48Speaker 1: go home, get a few hours of sleep, and go back.
- 22:50Speaker 1: So when I tell you that, it was the hardest
- 22:53Speaker 1: schedule that any of us has ever worked, and everybody
- 22:55Speaker 1: did it with such an incredible attitude and joy in
- 22:58Speaker 1: their hearts. As hard as it was, there was not
- 23:00Speaker 1: one single complaint on that set. That's nice.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Did you notice our friend Denise.
- 23:05Speaker 1: In the movie. No, there were a lot of a
- 23:09Speaker 1: ton I wonder where she was. Denise message us, we
- 23:12Speaker 1: can go back and catch you. Yeah, there is an
- 23:15Speaker 1: extended cut on Hallmark Plus. I tried to watch it,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and Hallmark Plus was being buky. Hallmark Plus was not
- 23:21Speaker 1: working for me last night, I either, and I didn't
- 23:23Speaker 1: want to watch it for this review because I didn't
- 23:25Speaker 1: want to have scenes that not everybody had seen. Yeah,
- 23:28Speaker 1: but I may go back and look because I heard
- 23:30Speaker 1: there were some good additional scenes there.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Well, I think we've given it away. What did you
- 23:36Speaker 2: rate Lovely.
