- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of The
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. I know we've been talking a whole lot
- 0:07about the death of Jeffrey Epstein, but we're going to
- 0:10continue talking about it until we get some answers. And
- 0:14that's because I don't believe the narrative that's been pitched
- 0:16to us by the DOJ and the BOP, and I
- 0:20think there's an overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence that should
- 0:24lead any serious investigator to know that something really wrong
- 0:28happened that night and it wasn't just a coincidence. Now, look,
- 0:32I'm not going to sit here and tell you I
- 0:33know exactly what went down or who was involved, but
- 0:36I don't believe the narrative that they're telling us. I'm sorry,
- 0:40but I don't. Way too many things would have to
- 0:43line up and go wrong for their narrative to be true.
- 0:46And I think that from the Michael Thomas interview and
- 0:50the Tovin Owell interview, it's rather obvious that they're both
- 0:53lying about what went down that night. So the question
- 0:57is what are they lying about and who are they protecting.
- 1:03Today's article is from the New York Post, and the
- 1:06headline new video shows guards milling about with Epstein only
- 1:10a few feet away in his cell instead of conducting
- 1:13mandatory rounds. I thought they were sleeping. I thought Thomas
- 1:17was sleeping the whole entire time. Isn't that what we've
- 1:20been told by Tovin Nowell turns out that's a lie.
- 1:26This article was authored by Gabrielle Fami and Shane Galvin.
- 1:32A newly reviewed surveillance video from the night of Jeffrey
- 1:35Epstein's death shows the prison guards casually milling about only
- 1:39a few feet from the cell where he killed himself. Well,
- 1:43full stop, where he killed himself. Well, I'm glad you
- 1:46have all that information and all the evidence that leads
- 1:49you to believe that he, you know, killed himself, because
- 1:52I haven't seen that evidence yet, and at this point,
- 1:55I think there is enough evidence to refute the narrative
- 1:58and do it strongly. Correctional officers Touvin Oel and Michael
- 2:03Thomas are seen lounging in front of the officer station
- 2:06in the Special Housing unit of Manhattan's mcc center at
- 2:10around three fifteen am, both writing on a piece of paper,
- 2:13walking back and forth, and talking on the phone instead
- 2:16of conducting the mandatory three am rounds according to a
- 2:20video unearthed in the trove of DOJ documents recently released,
- 2:24and that obviously blows their narrative right out of the water.
- 2:27You know, the whole narrative. They were sleeping, They had
- 2:29no idea, well, I didn't know what Michael Thomas was
- 2:32up to, and Thomas I had no idea what Tovin
- 2:35Oel was doing. Meanwhile, they were walking around having the
- 2:39time of their lives. Can somebody please explain to me
- 2:42how these folks didn't end up in prison. Imagine being
- 2:46that bad at your job that had ended up in
- 2:48somebody dying and losing their life, and you just get
- 2:51to walk scott free. Because that's what happened. I mean,
- 2:54they falsified records. How are you going to falsify those records,
- 3:00pretend that you are sleeping the whole time, and then
- 3:03not end up in jail. It is unacceptable. Epstein was
- 3:07just a few feet away the first cell on the block,
- 3:09just down a short set of stairs behind the officer
- 3:13station on the ninth floor l Tier Wing. According to
- 3:16schematics of the prison, the sex predator is believed to
- 3:21have killed himself sometime between ten thirty pm August ninth,
- 3:25the last time Noel, who was working a double shift,
- 3:27checked on inmates, and six thirty am August tenth, when
- 3:31Noel and Thomas discovered his lifeless body while serving breakfast
- 3:35to the inmates. According to the Department of Justice, so
- 3:39Tovin Noel was the last person to see Epstein alive.
- 3:43How does that usually work out for people in the
- 3:45real world. Oh, you know, right away, you're a suspect.
- 3:50And then we look at the financial transactions. Oh yeah,
- 3:53nothing to see here. It's all just a big coincidence. Again.
- 3:59And look, I'm not going to sit here and tell
- 4:01you that Touvin, Oel and Michael Thomas were definitely in
- 4:04on it. But none of it adds up, and the
- 4:08circumstantial evidence leads me to believe that there needs to
- 4:11be a much more robust investigation into not only what
- 4:15went on inside of that GEL cell, but into all
- 4:18the people that we're working the night of. And I
- 4:21don't mean that OIG interview that we're looking at. I'm
- 4:25talking about a brand new investigation with a fresh set
- 4:28of eyes that is initiated. That's what we need. Bring
- 4:32people in subpoena power, the whole thing. But unfortunately, the
- 4:36only way we can get there is with a special prosecutor.
- 4:40And it doesn't seem like anybody is even talking about that,
- 4:43But if we're serious here, that's the way to go.
- 4:46We can't trust the DOJ to investigate themselves. We know that,
- 4:51So what are we left with. We're left with a
- 4:53special prosecutor. But for that to happen, Congress would have
- 4:58to have the willpower to make that move. And do
- 5:01you really think they're going to do that? Do you
- 5:03really think the DOJ is going to seed power when
- 5:06it comes to Epstein? No chance, not now, not ever.
- 5:11So we're in this loop. We keep on covering all
- 5:15of this information, but the DOJ refuses to act. And
- 5:18for the DOJ, that doubles their problem because now not
- 5:22only did they cover this up back then, they're also
- 5:25covering it up right now in real time, and people
- 5:28can see it and people are paying attention, and now
- 5:32people want answers, but unfortunately the DOJ is short when
- 5:37it comes to those. Instead, they want to talk shit.
- 5:41They want to try and turn the narrative around and
- 5:45attack people. Imagine having the Attorney General show up with
- 5:48a hit list, and instead of answering questions about what's
- 5:52going on with Epstein, she starts talking about crime and
- 5:56so and so's district or the dow. Now flip the script.
- 6:02Imagine if Merrick Garland did that, Oh, forget it. It
- 6:06would have been a shit show. And please make no mistake,
- 6:10I'm no fan of Merrick Garland, another do nothing clown.
- 6:14But the point is there's no consistency, right, none at all. Oh,
- 6:18you want this one to be held accountable, but not
- 6:20that one because they're in the same political party as
- 6:23me and they like the president. What does that even mean?
- 6:26And how can you call yourself a patriot if you
- 6:28have more loyalty to a man than you do to
- 6:31your country. I've never understood that way of thinking. I'm
- 6:35not loyal to any man or any political party. I'm
- 6:38loyal to this country and what's best for this country
- 6:41in my opinion. And if that doesn't jive with the
- 6:44ruling party's message, I don't care. The guards apparently ignored
- 6:50the bright orange warnings and reminders that the officer in
- 6:53charge of the Special Housing Unit had plastered on their computers.
- 6:58By accident or on purpose. I'll leave it up to
- 7:01you to decide. But I have a hard time believing
- 7:04that neither of these guards knew the basic duties of
- 7:07their job, and according to the depositions, they had no
- 7:11idea what they were doing there. They might as well
- 7:13have been at McDonald's Flippenburger's. The notes reminded everyone that
- 7:18Epstein was fresh off suicide watch, needed a bunk mate
- 7:21at all times and regular check ins. The DOJ Documents
- 7:25Review mandatory rounds must be conducted every thirty minutes on Epstein,
- 7:30as per god read one order. Shoe Boss Lieutenant Robert
- 7:35Gravlla later told DOJ investigators, I put it next to
- 7:38the computer. It was just something between us that said
- 7:41make sure the rounds were conducted, and he has a
- 7:44bunkie at all times. It's orange paper and black lettering.
- 7:49How did that work out? Oh, they were too busy
- 7:53shopping on the internet. Huh. Grovala said that he left
- 7:58instructions right next to the screen hanging on the PC
- 8:01sometime before he went home for the weekend. At two
- 8:04pm on August ninth. Whoever was there, they watched, they
- 8:08saw the paper. Monday, I came in and the paper
- 8:11wasn't there anymore, he said, so look for me, Thomas
- 8:16and Noel. They're the ones holding the bag, and if
- 8:20I was in charge, I would be investigating them like
- 8:23you wouldn't believe. I'd be giving them the Mafia treatment.
- 8:27Every transaction ever made, every person you've ever talked to,
- 8:31every place you've ever been, all of it, because as
- 8:34far as I'm concerned, their stories make zero sense, and
- 8:38in fact, I think they're lying. Gravala said that around
- 8:41eight am on August ninth, he brought Epstein and his cellmate,
- 8:45convicted drug dealer Ephrin Reys downstairs. Epstein was meeting with
- 8:49his lawyers all day, and Reyes had his belongings with
- 8:53him and was likely heading home. When I walked them
- 8:56towards the door, I said, you're going to get a bunk, recalled,
- 9:00telling him. Epstein is like, no, I'm good. He seemed calm.
- 9:03Gravala added of Epstein, he joked around because he asked
- 9:07for a new jumper and I told him no, and
- 9:10he asked why not. I was like, it's a jail,
- 9:12and you have what you get. Nobody else gets a jumper.
- 9:15It's not versace, you know. He's ha ha, he laughed,
- 9:19and that's it. Gravalas said that before leaving for the weekend,
- 9:23he told staff multiple times Epstein would need a new
- 9:26cell mate when he returned from the meeting with his
- 9:28lawyers that evening, and they ignored him. Remember in the interview,
- 9:33they said they had no idea that Epstein needed a
- 9:35cell mate. Nobody told them that. No lieutenants told them that. Well,
- 9:38that's a lie. He also told inspectors the reason that
- 9:43Epstein had multiple orange sheets in his cell, the cloths
- 9:46he used to hang himself is because officers failed to
- 9:49remove ray Is sheets when he was discharged, and they
- 9:52likely gave Epstein a couple extra after he complained he
- 9:56was cold at night. They fucked up. Gravalda said, sorry,
- 9:59that that's a big no go. Gravlla is still employed
- 10:03at the Manhattan Correctional Center and has been promoted to
- 10:07deputy captain according to the Bureau of Prisons. Well not
- 10:10at MCC. MCC is closed, so I have no idea
- 10:14where mister Gravlla is working. The House Oversight Committee chair
- 10:19called Noel in for an interview on March twenty sixth
- 10:22after The Post reported that she googled Epstein shortly before
- 10:25he took his life and banked mysterious cash deposits. What
- 10:29they mean by that is they piggybacked on our conversation
- 10:33about what went on that night, and that led them
- 10:35to start looking into Touvin Nowell and Michael Thomas and
- 10:38what happened that night. And that's a good thing. More
- 10:41people should be doing that. The more eyes on this,
- 10:44the better because I'm going to miss things right, I'm
- 10:47not going to get everything. So the more people that
- 10:49are looking at it, the better off we're going to be.
- 10:52Noel and Thomas were accused of falsifying records that said
- 10:55they checked on Epstein throughout the night, even though investigator
- 10:58has later learned they failed to do the three am
- 11:02and five am rounds. They were fired, but criminal charges
- 11:06against both were dropped in twenty twenty one by Obama
- 11:10appointed US District Court judge and Alisa Torres Well, I'm
- 11:15not shocked by that. They didn't want this case to
- 11:19move forward at all. The court knew that, the Department
- 11:22of Justice knew that, the BOP knew that, and the
- 11:25best way to mitigate the fallout was to keep everybody quiet.
- 11:28How do you do that, Well, you make sure they're
- 11:30hooked up it's no different than Epstein's serving up some
- 11:33hush money, except this time it's the federal government giving
- 11:37the two guards that were responsible for Epstein that night
- 11:40and out. So it's basically just another payoff, and as
- 11:45far as I'm concerned, it's unacceptable. So let's see what
- 11:49happens on March twenty sixth. But I think that the
- 11:53whole entire situation needs to be revisited, and I think
- 11:57that there needs to be a robust investigation into everybody
- 12:01who was involved in the decision making that led to
- 12:03the death of Jeffrey Epstein. Now if we get that
- 12:07investigation or not, that's a whole different matter entirely, but
- 12:10we most certainly should and you can guarantee until that happens,
- 12:15my fat mouth is going to continue to run. All
- 12:19the information that goes with this episode can be found
- 12:22in the description box.
