- 0:00Speaker 1: We'll find something to talk about. Yeah, uh in studio
- 0:03Speaker 1: and it's been too dang long. And I blame Jordan
- 0:06Speaker 1: Davis for that.
- 0:07Speaker 2: And I will accept that. I will accept that because
- 0:09Speaker 2: I know I know where you're at. So there's no
- 0:11Speaker 2: reason why I can't just oh, because I never have
- 0:13Speaker 2: anything going on. You're saying, I'm just here waiting for you.
- 0:16Speaker 1: To repel them.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I'm just saying I could easily just come knock on
- 0:18Speaker 2: the window.
- 0:19Speaker 1: But what ude, let me end and let me but
- 0:21Speaker 1: let me tell you, like, and this is maybe a
- 0:24Speaker 1: story I'll have to clip out, but there was a
- 0:26Speaker 1: time when I first got to Nashville and you were
- 0:30Speaker 1: like doing like a boys afternoon You're like, Hey, who
- 0:32Speaker 1: could I talk to at at Luke's? Like we're gonna
- 0:34Speaker 1: go out to Luke's? Like who could? Now? You just
- 0:36Speaker 1: go wherever you want? You know everybody? No, do you
- 0:38Speaker 1: remember that? Uh? I don't know.
- 0:41Speaker 2: A lot a lot of tequila in between there. I
- 0:44Speaker 2: don't know.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Well, ain't kids? Yeah to kidlaw? Yeah it's different. Yeah,
- 0:50Speaker 1: Uh dude, how how is how is the dad life part?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Because as your career, your career was always steady, but
- 0:56Speaker 1: it feels like over the last year and a half.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's really taken off, but so is
- 1:03Speaker 1: your family life.
- 1:03Speaker 2: You know, it's been like the what the hell the
- 1:07Speaker 2: juggle of h Yeah, I mean that's just been a constant,
- 1:11Speaker 2: you know struggle of you know, working too much, not
- 1:15Speaker 2: enough time at home, too much time at home, not
- 1:16Speaker 2: working enough.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I feel like I'm getting I'm getting into a good
- 1:20Speaker 2: spot with it. Uh but yeah, I mean it's always that,
- 1:24Speaker 2: Like I mean, I love and I know we've talked.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It's like we love what we do, Like, you know,
- 1:29Speaker 2: this is fun, Like this is a dream job. So
- 1:32Speaker 2: like not going out and doing what you've wanted for
- 1:35Speaker 2: a long time is tough. So uh but I'm I'm fine.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I'm striking a good balance with it.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to tell you. One of my favorite Instagram
- 1:43Speaker 1: accounts to follow is your wife's because like super mom
- 1:47Speaker 1: slash super supportive wife, Like she's pulling off everything right now.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yeah, she's uh, she's rockstar man like, and even like
- 1:55Speaker 2: this month is like crazy for us. We're going all
- 1:57Speaker 2: the time and I'm like, hey, baby, you want me
- 2:00Speaker 2: to bring my mom up? Do you want to bring
- 2:01Speaker 2: like your family over? Like how you and she's like
- 2:04Speaker 2: I figured it out, you know, and like that's just been.
- 2:08Speaker 2: You know, I don't know how we ended up together
- 2:10Speaker 2: because we're both about as headstrong as the other.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Uh.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But uh, she is man, she's she's a rock star.
- 2:16Speaker 2: She keeps things afloat at the Davis household. I have
- 2:19Speaker 2: nothing to do with that house, like truly, Like I
- 2:23Speaker 2: give it to her and be like, hey, I even
- 2:25Speaker 2: give her my schedule, like will you let me know
- 2:27Speaker 2: what I got tomorrow? Like why in between doctor visits,
- 2:31Speaker 2: will you check in and make sure that I'm doing
- 2:33Speaker 2: what I'm supposed to be doing.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I know the I know the feeling. Yeah, how are
- 2:38Speaker 1: you happy with the balance that you're putting together for
- 2:41Speaker 1: yourself right now? Family and work wise?
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, like you know, there's always like a
- 2:45Speaker 2: few things that I think I could I could fix. Uh,
- 2:48Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean it's been, you know, it's been.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I think we're getting to a good spot where it feels,
- 2:54Speaker 2: it feels comfortable, And a lot of that is just
- 2:56Speaker 2: like the kids getting older. You know, my two older ones,
- 3:01Speaker 2: you know, one's about to turn six, one just turned four,
- 3:03Speaker 2: So it's like they they're able to catch up on
- 3:06Speaker 2: a little bit more stuff, you know, And and it's
- 3:09Speaker 2: it's tough. You used to be able to just leave
- 3:11Speaker 2: and they were like could care less, and then now
- 3:13Speaker 2: it's like, all right, they're kind of upset whenever I
- 3:15Speaker 2: gotta go. So that's been the that's been the biggest
- 3:19Speaker 2: poolback on like all right, maybe a little bit more
- 3:21Speaker 2: time at home.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Well there's a the age now where they know when
- 3:24Speaker 1: you leave here coming back, Well they do know that.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not like just like okay like back then
- 3:28Speaker 2: where it's just like okay, by dad, good knowing you.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It's like, well, no, no, no, I'll be back.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I live here, I'll live here.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But yeah, at least and you know, and and that
- 3:37Speaker 2: could look like, you know, bringing them out a little
- 3:39Speaker 2: bit more and spending more time on the road. But
- 3:42Speaker 2: you know, that's that's something we can we can cross
- 3:44Speaker 2: when we get there.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Uh. You've had so much success musically with your radio
- 3:49Speaker 1: singles obviously bar none has been awesome. You're getting ready
- 3:53Speaker 1: to put out this full album. Are you more intentional
- 3:57Speaker 1: now with like what goes to cut? The word single?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Country radio single? Are you more mindful of that now
- 4:03Speaker 1: than you were before? On like what's going to represent
- 4:06Speaker 1: you to the masses that way.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Maybe, but well, I don't know, maybe not, because I
- 4:14Speaker 2: feel like the last ones have been kind of you know,
- 4:19Speaker 2: I think bar None, we did something that felt a
- 4:21Speaker 2: little different than we've put out before. Yeah, so yeah,
- 4:26Speaker 2: I feel like it's kind of fifty to fifty.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You know.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I love when the fans pick it, when they raised
- 4:30Speaker 2: their hand on like, hey, this is the one that
- 4:32Speaker 2: we're connecting with. I think the good thing is we've
- 4:37Speaker 2: been playing a lot of these songs out live, and
- 4:40Speaker 2: I feel like they're connecting with all of them, So,
- 4:43Speaker 2: you know, I think it will be something with me.
- 4:46Speaker 2: You know, maybe going forward, it's just like taking a
- 4:48Speaker 2: bigger swing. You know, there's a lot of songs on
- 4:51Speaker 2: this record that I feel are totally something out of
- 4:55Speaker 2: left field that maybe a fan that's been with me
- 4:57Speaker 2: for a long time will be like, I wasn't expecting
- 4:59Speaker 2: to put a song out like that, but uh so
- 5:02Speaker 2: maybe that would be the the risk of like sending
- 5:05Speaker 2: that out as the single and and seeing how it
- 5:08Speaker 2: goes as.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You rewind your career back to I mean not too
- 5:14Speaker 1: long ago, but a while ago.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, is there you can say it. I'm getting older,
- 5:19Speaker 2: I get it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Yes, well we're talking about Beard Dies next. I'm kidding
- 5:25Speaker 1: we uh you You talked about how you like when
- 5:28Speaker 1: fans raise their hands for something right, like when they
- 5:30Speaker 1: picked something. Is there going back through album cuts, is
- 5:33Speaker 1: there one that like they were really like, oh, we love,
- 5:36Speaker 1: we love, and you just wouldn't get we never.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Got to it.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I had a song called you Got My Number that
- 5:41Speaker 2: they really loved and a song called going Round off
- 5:45Speaker 2: my first record that I think if we would have
- 5:47Speaker 2: gone another single off of the first record, it probably
- 5:49Speaker 2: would have been going Around. But those are two that, like,
- 5:54Speaker 2: I still get a lot of requests to play those,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and going Around is still in the set, so like it.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Those are those are a couple that I think would
- 6:04Speaker 2: have would have done well if we just singled them.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Uh learn the hard Way is getting ready to come
- 6:08Speaker 1: out in just a couple of weeks here. Yeah. Is
- 6:11Speaker 1: the album cycle a weird thing to comprehend because there's
- 6:14Speaker 1: a lot of guys just putting out a song, a song,
- 6:17Speaker 1: a song, a song, and then there's guys putting out
- 6:19Speaker 1: fifty seven song albums. Yeah, Uh, it's like because so
- 6:22Speaker 1: the album cycle really is like the weirdest thing in
- 6:25Speaker 1: country music.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yea, it just feels like it's changed so much. Yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 2: which I mean music's changing.
- 6:30Speaker 1: But like.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I think I'll always go back to the album.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Uh.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I think there's something that you can digest with a
- 6:40Speaker 2: with a record, and I mean even too, like you know,
- 6:43Speaker 2: some of those bigger, bigger records, you know, I still
- 6:47Speaker 2: think you have a you know, you're going to gravitate
- 6:49Speaker 2: to your favorite songs off of them. But uh yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 2: I mean I don't mind the EP and I'm grateful
- 6:55Speaker 2: for the EPs we put out or the shorter records,
- 6:59Speaker 2: you know, because it's still gives the fans something to
- 7:02Speaker 2: listen to while you're maybe working on a record. But yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 2: I think I'm always going to be an album guy
- 7:08Speaker 2: and probably try to keep it between ten to twenty songs,
- 7:12Speaker 2: you know, watch this next record come out and beat
- 7:14Speaker 2: thirty five songs.
- 7:15Speaker 1: But like.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You know, to me, that's just like manageable to do
- 7:20Speaker 2: and still maintain a life and kind of go back
- 7:22Speaker 2: to that balance that we talked about and still give
- 7:26Speaker 2: the fans something new in a reasonable amount of time
- 7:30Speaker 2: that they don't feel like I'm holding out on music
- 7:32Speaker 2: because I'm never holding out of music. I would love
- 7:34Speaker 2: to give as much music as I can. Unfortunately have
- 7:37Speaker 2: to write these songs, and I don't write great songs
- 7:40Speaker 2: every time I write a song. So yeah, that's like
- 7:44Speaker 2: kind of maybe why this record took a little bit
- 7:46Speaker 2: longer than I would hope art.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So, how many songs are on this upcoming album?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Seventeen?
- 7:53Speaker 1: So out of those, how many didn't make the cut
- 7:58Speaker 1: because usually usually the album processes like, oh, I'm gonna
- 8:01Speaker 1: get it, I'm gonna get it down to fourteen.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Oh but this one, Oh but this you can, yeah,
- 8:07Speaker 2: throw stuff in. I think we cut about twenty twenty
- 8:11Speaker 2: to twenty five somewhere in there. So there's you know,
- 8:14Speaker 2: five or six that just didn't make it. And again
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'm not saying we don't. They don't ever get released.
- 8:21Speaker 2: They just maybe didn't feel like they needed to be
- 8:23Speaker 2: on this one. But yeah, I don't think we went
- 8:27Speaker 2: like crazy on cutting. Yeah, I think twenty four. I
- 8:31Speaker 2: think we cut twenty four songs for this record.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Can you explain what if how does it cause like
- 8:37Speaker 1: a page of a book, right, Like if you rip
- 8:39Speaker 1: it out, the book doesn't make sense or the chapter
- 8:42Speaker 1: doesn't make sense. A lot of artists. I feel approach
- 8:45Speaker 1: albums that way, Like if I take this song out,
- 8:47Speaker 1: this album doesn't make sense. If that's if that's the
- 8:50Speaker 1: case for you, this group of songs that didn't make
- 8:52Speaker 1: this album, how do you know they'll fit what's next?
- 8:55Speaker 2: And that's the thing is, like you don't you don't know,
- 8:57Speaker 2: cause I'm definitely I've cut a lot of songs for
- 9:00Speaker 2: Bluebird Days that didn't make it, and they didn't make
- 9:03Speaker 2: Bluebird Days that didn't make this record. Still love the song,
- 9:08Speaker 2: but you know, I don't know. And I've never made
- 9:11Speaker 2: like a concept record, you know, I try to like
- 9:17Speaker 2: not get too caught up in that, in that like
- 9:20Speaker 2: consistent flow. I want there to at least be a theme,
- 9:24Speaker 2: but like it doesn't have to be like you know,
- 9:26Speaker 2: one through seventeen. If you listen to fourteen and then
- 9:28Speaker 2: go back to two, it doesn't make sense, like that
- 9:31Speaker 2: would just be that just sounds really hard, But like
- 9:36Speaker 2: you know, and maybe a lot of times I feel
- 9:40Speaker 2: like some of those songs you end up pitching, you know,
- 9:42Speaker 2: I end up sending to somebody else and be like,
- 9:44Speaker 2: hey man, it just didn't fit what I was doing,
- 9:47Speaker 2: But maybe it fits what you're doing. But yeah, I've
- 9:52Speaker 2: you know, and who knows, maybe my next record is
- 9:55Speaker 2: going back and grabbing all those songs and being like.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Hey, this is what didn't make those records.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Maybe they work here.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Uh.
- 10:00Speaker 2: But yeah, it's a it's not easy. It's a it's
- 10:03Speaker 2: a it's a task that you got to really be
- 10:07Speaker 2: all in on to make records.
- 10:10Speaker 1: A lot of artists who overthink album titles. Are you liking?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Are you like whatever pops up we'll run with? Are
- 10:15Speaker 1: you like?
- 10:15Speaker 2: No?
- 10:16Speaker 1: It needs to be meaningful for where I'm at and
- 10:18Speaker 1: where these songs are.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I think there's got to be it's got to be
- 10:21Speaker 2: something that pulls it back to a majority of the record,
- 10:26Speaker 2: you know. I think it's and again with it not
- 10:29Speaker 2: being like a true concept record, I think you just
- 10:32Speaker 2: kind of want to grab the common theme at least
- 10:34Speaker 2: with majority of the songs. Bluebird Days, I was pretty
- 10:38Speaker 2: big on on that being the title. Uh and in
- 10:42Speaker 2: Home State too, at least I knew like when we
- 10:45Speaker 2: kind of started the record, like, hey man, I think
- 10:47Speaker 2: this record's gonna be called this Uh this one the record.
- 10:50Speaker 2: The name came super late into the process, but yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 2: it's it's something that it at least got to be
- 10:58Speaker 2: able to to explain why that record is called this,
- 11:04Speaker 2: And I've also hated to just like, you know, I
- 11:07Speaker 2: know I have a self titled EP, but like, you know,
- 11:10Speaker 2: it's it's you know, so I guess I can't say that,
- 11:13Speaker 2: like just calling it Jordan Davis would be weird. But yeah,
- 11:18Speaker 2: it's it's it's something that is a tough task, but
- 11:21Speaker 2: I don't I don't have to think too much into what.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So this is, Uh, this has learned the hard way.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But what would what would we have gotten if it
- 11:29Speaker 1: wasn't named that? Like what was a backup name? Uh?
- 11:32Speaker 2: Louisiana Stick, which is a song off the record, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 2: mainly because that was my nickname in high school, Stick
- 11:41Speaker 2: because I got tall really early and just like was
- 11:43Speaker 2: like one hundred and thirty five pounds. Some of my
- 11:45Speaker 2: friends just called me stick figure. Uh, and I'd always
- 11:49Speaker 2: had that title, you know. But again, the reason why
- 11:52Speaker 2: I didn't make that is because I was like, all right,
- 11:54Speaker 2: that's like highlighting one song that's like got this really
- 11:58Speaker 2: heavy Louisiana theme, and there's only really one song that
- 12:00Speaker 2: kind of fits that. It doesn't do justice to the
- 12:02Speaker 2: other songs. So learned the hard Way was the one
- 12:08Speaker 2: we went to because there's at least a little bit
- 12:10Speaker 2: of thread through all those songs that could kind of
- 12:14Speaker 2: come back to learn the hard Way.
- 12:16Speaker 1: So with that being the title, I will ask, what
- 12:19Speaker 1: is the two part question. What is the musically the
- 12:24Speaker 1: heart the lesson you had to learn the hard way,
- 12:26Speaker 1: you had to go out and fall on your face
- 12:27Speaker 1: and learn the hard way, And what's the life version
- 12:29Speaker 1: of that?
- 12:32Speaker 2: I think the life version is is kind of that
- 12:35Speaker 2: balance of doing something that you love to do, but
- 12:42Speaker 2: also knowing that that's not at the end of the day.
- 12:45Speaker 2: What you what your number one goal is? You know,
- 12:49Speaker 2: number one goal is being a dad and a husband.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Music is my job, and sometimes over the past three
- 12:57Speaker 2: or four years that is kind of teetered on what
- 13:00Speaker 2: what goes first, and through some hard conversations I kind
- 13:05Speaker 2: of had to learn the hard way that the balance
- 13:07Speaker 2: wasn't quite there. Yeah, and then musically, you know, taking
- 13:15Speaker 2: I don't want to say like safe safe risk on
- 13:20Speaker 2: the last record and not really kind of taking a
- 13:23Speaker 2: big swing or a swing that I wanted to take
- 13:25Speaker 2: and doing something totally different that somewhat kind of scared me.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Bluebird Days was like in my wheelhouse, every song was
- 13:34Speaker 2: like something that I felt like I knew was me
- 13:37Speaker 2: and I could I could do that and go out
- 13:39Speaker 2: and play that and believe it to where this one
- 13:43Speaker 2: was like I've gotten more gratification through making this record
- 13:51Speaker 2: by taking a chance on a few of these songs
- 13:53Speaker 2: and being like, all right, I know that a fan
- 13:55Speaker 2: is that's listened to me from day one, or a
- 13:57Speaker 2: new fan that maybe is listened to my last three
- 14:00Speaker 2: single has been like Huh, I didn't think you would
- 14:02Speaker 2: ever put a song out like that. Uh.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And is that insulting to hear or is that like
- 14:07Speaker 1: a compliment?
- 14:08Speaker 2: No, I think it's I think it's to me, it's
- 14:10Speaker 2: a compliment of like taking a chance and going in
- 14:14Speaker 2: and recording something that like, I think my biggest fear
- 14:16Speaker 2: and putting a record out is having a fan say
- 14:18Speaker 2: like I feel like he kind of cast that one in,
- 14:21Speaker 2: you know, or it sounded like the last record and
- 14:24Speaker 2: I don't want that to be the case ever, And
- 14:27Speaker 2: sometimes that's taking a risk that on the flip side
- 14:30Speaker 2: of that could be like hey, bro, that song stupid
- 14:33Speaker 2: or that song that sounds not good? Why did he
- 14:35Speaker 2: put that on there? Like that's just kind of the
- 14:37Speaker 2: chance you got to take. And you know, I think
- 14:42Speaker 2: by maybe being a little safer on the last record,
- 14:47Speaker 2: I learned that that true true, like doing what you
- 14:51Speaker 2: want to do is maybe getting outside of your comfort
- 14:53Speaker 2: zone a little bit.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Watching you over the years talk about the Bluebird Days album,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I feel like, and correct me if I'm wrong. You
- 15:00Speaker 1: love what you do, You love all your music, but
- 15:02Speaker 1: there's something about Bluebird Days that like will live closer
- 15:05Speaker 1: to your heart than any of the other projects. Is
- 15:06Speaker 1: that right?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yeah? I think it's a it's the typical like second record,
- 15:13Speaker 2: you know, and again maybe this is a little too
- 15:16Speaker 2: inside music. And you probably know you have your life
- 15:19Speaker 2: to make your first record, and then you got a
- 15:20Speaker 2: quick amount of time and you've really got an audience now,
- 15:23Speaker 2: so the second one needs to be who you are.
- 15:26Speaker 2: And I do feel like I put a little bit
- 15:29Speaker 2: more into that one, just from like a personal standpoint.
- 15:36Speaker 2: You know, some songs, whether it be Bluebird Days itself,
- 15:38Speaker 2: like that, you know, you just write about stuff that
- 15:40Speaker 2: maybe you wouldn't have done on your first record, or
- 15:44Speaker 2: you just want to be a little bit more open
- 15:46Speaker 2: on it. And and yeah, Bluebird will always have that
- 15:49Speaker 2: that that kind of feel for me.
- 15:51Speaker 1: There's something when you have been talking about the amount
- 15:53Speaker 1: of times you've talked about balance and like, you know,
- 15:55Speaker 1: learning the hard way of trying to balance things out right.
- 15:58Speaker 1: There's somebody that I work for one time who said
- 16:01Speaker 1: to me, at some point the people you're sacrificing for
- 16:06Speaker 1: become more of what you're sacrificing, because if you're out
- 16:10Speaker 1: all the time trying to make every dollar you can
- 16:12Speaker 1: write all of the big hits you can, at some
- 16:15Speaker 1: point it's and you're like sending the money home and
- 16:17Speaker 1: I'm taking care of everybody, taking care of everybody. At
- 16:19Speaker 1: some point, that's what you're sacrificing. And when he said that,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I was like, damn.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Well, I mean that's it, and it's That's been a
- 16:26Speaker 2: struggle for me of conversations with with Kristen, with other
- 16:32Speaker 2: artists that I look up to that have kind of
- 16:34Speaker 2: walked you know this in front of me, where it
- 16:36Speaker 2: was like, man, how much of this is you have
- 16:41Speaker 2: to go out and play shows or you want to
- 16:45Speaker 2: go out and play shows, And sometimes it was well,
- 16:49Speaker 2: I want to go play music. I love this, Like
- 16:51Speaker 2: this is awesome, and you miss stuff on the family
- 16:56Speaker 2: in and you can't get that stuff back. So it's like,
- 17:00Speaker 2: you know, I've had to learn a few of those
- 17:02Speaker 2: lessons the hard way. The hard way, I know, and
- 17:08Speaker 2: and and at least now I can always go back
- 17:11Speaker 2: and be like, all right, I didn't like the way
- 17:12Speaker 2: I felt when I when I was leading up to
- 17:15Speaker 2: the show that weekend, so maybe next time before taking
- 17:18Speaker 2: that show, it's like, all right, you know what, I
- 17:20Speaker 2: probably ought to be at home this weekend. So yeah, Well,
- 17:24Speaker 2: congrats on the new album, Congrats on bar None, Thanks buddy,
- 17:27Speaker 2: congrats on the family. And it's funny because when you
- 17:31Speaker 2: bring up your wife kind of keeping everything together, scheduleizing
- 17:33Speaker 2: all that. When we saw I mean, we haven't seen
- 17:36Speaker 2: you in a little while, but we saw you at
- 17:37Speaker 2: CMA fes a year ago.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And you were like, yeah, good to see you guys.
- 17:40Speaker 1: And she came in like the calm breeze behind your storm,
- 17:43Speaker 1: and it was like, hey, how is everybody? Are you good?
- 17:46Speaker 1: So good to see you. I appreciated the time you
- 17:48Speaker 1: had with Jordan and his interview.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Like she she's she's something else, man, She's uh, she's
- 17:53Speaker 2: not like that with me. It's like, where are you at?
- 17:57Speaker 2: I got all these kids. You need to get home now.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So yeah, it's uh, she is, she's something else.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Last thing I want to ask is we had out
- 18:07Speaker 1: you're a football fan. Oh yeah, you're a big, big
- 18:10Speaker 1: Tigers guy. How are you feeling about LSU this season?
- 18:14Speaker 2: Undefeated national champion?
- 18:15Speaker 1: That's crap, you're you, that's still lie.
- 18:18Speaker 2: But what else will you say we hoped for? But
- 18:21Speaker 2: realistically Okay, actually no, realistically I think Okay, maybe not undefeated, Okay,
- 18:29Speaker 2: maybe not under still national champion. I still think national champions.
- 18:32Speaker 2: I think we are. I think we have we have
- 18:37Speaker 2: the best offense in the SEC. Okay, maybe top three
- 18:42Speaker 2: offense in the SEC. And I think we got a
- 18:46Speaker 2: top five defense. And I think Garrett Nesmyer is the
- 18:50Speaker 2: best quarterback in college football. So we have the best quarterback. Uh,
- 18:55Speaker 2: this is his last year. He's got something to prove.
- 18:57Speaker 2: We got a we got a better defense.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Uh.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Team still have to beat us in the real death valley,
- 19:02Speaker 2: not the death valley over in Carolina, which we're going
- 19:06Speaker 2: to prove that at the end in a couple of
- 19:08Speaker 2: weeks when we beat Clemson. Uh so you get me
- 19:12Speaker 2: fired up now?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah? All the best part is we're clipping this whole
- 19:18Speaker 1: damn thing and the amount of hate we're gonna get.
- 19:20Speaker 2: We beat I think we I think maybe we drop
- 19:24Speaker 2: one conference game to who uh. So we got to
- 19:29Speaker 2: play Alabama at Alabama this year, so maybe we drop Alabama.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know. But if we lose one, maybe
- 19:36Speaker 2: we get beat by Alabama, we go to the SEC Championship,
- 19:38Speaker 2: we win SEC. Uh, we get in the playoffs, and
- 19:43Speaker 2: we beat Ohio State in NAS Championship. Book it Vegas,
- 19:47Speaker 2: take my money. He might want to take that bet
- 19:49Speaker 2: right now.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Jordan. Thanks brother, Love your dog.
