- 0:16New York Times bestselling author Peter Schweitzer later in the hour. This first half
- 0:21hour dedicated to what in sam Hill is going on at the Southern Border.
- 0:26Good morning, everybody, Welcome to the Morning Show with Preston Scott Show,
- 0:31five thousand and sixteen. That's Grant running the program. It is Wednesday,
- 0:37September twenty seventh, otherwise known as my son Jamison's birthday. Happy birthday,
- 0:42son, I love you, and here we go. We are joined by
- 0:46frequent guests contributed to the program. United States Border Patrol Agent retired Azeus Rodriguez.
- 0:52Good morning, my friend. How are you? Good morning, serif
- 0:56finding yourself. I'm new and terrific, but I'm not anywhere near the impact
- 1:03of what's going on in our southern border. Is there a way to quantify
- 1:08how bad it is? I mean, we know the numbers are just unbelievable,
- 1:12but how bad is it? Getting? Oh voye pressing, It's bad.
- 1:19It's you know what I to my wife. I get disgusted. Was
- 1:23everything that's happening down there because of just the sheer numbers of illegal aliens.
- 1:30They're just I can't say any more different, just pouring through there to the
- 1:34southern border, and so even like Anaha in for instance, you're having about
- 1:38anywhere from a thousand to two thousand a day coming through. And they're coming
- 1:44from like Mauritania, they're coming from the Senegal, They're coming from everywhere.
- 1:49I mean. And it's interesting because I keep hearing that there's a lot of
- 1:55single military age men there in those large groups. And add to the fact
- 2:00that in some areas the cartels are running the family groups to there. So
- 2:05it's it's it's not they really is We're already describing. We're seeing videos of
- 2:13trainloads of people singing and celebrating as it moves through Mexico north to the border.
- 2:21Why isn't the Mexican government just stopping it. I don't think it can
- 2:24stop them pressing if they if they come into their country, into Mexico and
- 2:30they get and I'm not saying in this case it happens to all these people
- 2:32that are on the train, But if they if they go through the process
- 2:36where they get a vista, they can go anywhere they want. Plus the
- 2:38sheer numbers onto itself. I mean, that's just look at all the number
- 2:43of people they have coming through there. I mean, they're going to push
- 2:46their push their way through there until they get to where they need to come
- 2:50to up to the southern border. And it's you know, you've seen it.
- 2:53We've seen it before in the past and years used to see those natural
- 2:55disasters happen in these countries and you would have a trickle of people come in
- 3:00there. But the floodgates are open now. But surely it can't be legal
- 3:05for people to just jump on a train, not passenger trains. They're just
- 3:09hanging onto box cars. They're just stuffing themselves on top of these these containers.
- 3:15That can't be legal. No, it can be legal. And I
- 3:17think they stopped that last train from what I from what I read from my
- 3:23end told me, they stopped them in the state of Kuahila from coming up
- 3:27to the southern border. But it still doesn't mean that even though you stop
- 3:30that train, they're not going to make their way up there. Sure the
- 3:31car tails are running all this so they know how to they're going to go
- 3:35to Plan B and Plan C and whatever other plans they have in order to
- 3:37get to their cargo up to the southern border. So it's that's not going
- 3:40to stop. It'll slow them down. It's a steed bump. But that's
- 3:43about it. I mean, you know, but then the personally, you
- 3:46have to look at the fact that the that the government has that app that
- 3:49they're that they can put on their smartphone and they can basically get their way
- 3:53in here. There's some article that I think that that had that that I
- 3:58read that ninety nine percent of the people people that use an apper just come
- 4:01in here, they get processed, and out the door they go. Ninety
- 4:06nine percent. What does that tell you? Ninety nine percent That is just
- 4:10ridiculous. Nine percent of and the numbers are astronomical. This is an invasion
- 4:15of our country. You're and you're talking about just people that are coming to
- 4:20the border give it quitters as we used to call them, quitters, giving
- 4:25themselves up. You process them, you know, you do what you gotta
- 4:28do. You kick them out the door and on their way they you know,
- 4:30they go. You're not talking about the ones that I don't want to
- 4:33get caught that are coming in and whatever else, whoever else and whatever else
- 4:39they're bringing into the country that because the ages don't have any time to work
- 4:43that traffic, they don't they're just they're basically, you know, for I
- 4:47hate to say it, but they're basically gun total concierge for the for the
- 4:50government. Hey, Esus, stand by, We're going to take a quick
- 4:54break pick up right there with a story of what was happening in and around
- 5:00San Diego, what Border Patrol was reportedly doing, and we'll get a Zeus's
- 5:05reaction to that and much more. A Zeus Rodriguez with me on the Morning
- 5:10Show with Preston Scott. Follow us on Twitter ATFLA FM. Welcome to m
- 5:15A D Radio Network. It's the Morning Show with Preston Scott. My guest
- 5:30is a Zeus Rodriguez, better than twenty years US Border Patrol agent, now
- 5:36retired and still a lot of colleagues working the border, still involved in business
- 5:46that I guess runs parallel to what's going on there. Hey Zeus, we
- 5:50were just talking about the endless numbers here. We're seeing stories now of the
- 5:57Border Patrol literally loading up their own buses, taking them to downtown San Diego
- 6:03and saying, you can do whatever you want, You're free. Yep,
- 6:09that's about it. I mean that that's happening because the sheer numbers that they
- 6:15have right now, they can only hold them for such for a period of
- 6:17time. And once they get processed, and you know, is the tension
- 6:23can't hold that, you know, the bodies, they kick them out the
- 6:25door. They basically take them to you know, a gas station somewhere where
- 6:30it's you know, relatively safe and bus stations and drop them off there and
- 6:34you know, and they turn and leave and geos. I mean, so
- 6:38it's it really is, that's there's nothing. There's nothing they can do,
- 6:43and they're doing what they're what the marching orders are and what the laws are
- 6:46as far as holding them are concerned. And then add to the fact pussing
- 6:48that what people don't realize is that what's happening also on in Love the southern
- 6:55borders that you have sim cards that are all over the place along with documents
- 6:59are or shredded right there. Why because the people that are coming in they
- 7:03don't want you to they don't want to be identified for who they really are.
- 7:06They can give you they can give you a false name, and you
- 7:10don't know because when the agents process the illegal aliens at the station or a
- 7:15process and facility, they are they're only with the fingerprints, are only able
- 7:20to link into the FBI database and see if they have any prior criminal history
- 7:26in the United States. That doesn't mean that they come from Venezela, does
- 7:30mean that they come from Mauritania and Senegal. From wherever they come from.
- 7:32You cannot there's no way to link into that database and see if they have
- 7:36any kind of history criminal history in those countries. They they'll send the countries.
- 7:41So if they if they're clear, and they could be you know,
- 7:45they could be a mass murder, they could be whatever in those in their
- 7:47home countries, and that they're clear. Here in the US, out the
- 7:50door they go and we're seeing the reports they become murderers here, rapists here,
- 7:57criminals here, cartel uh, you know, extensions here in our country.
- 8:03We're hearing stories about the ICE UH, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Enforcement secure
- 8:09a docket card. It's a card that's going to allegedly hold a photograph and
- 8:16be issued to people in this country. But before we even get to any
- 8:20of that, you said, we're following the law. How are we following
- 8:24the law allowing people to just come into the country illegally. Well, it's
- 8:31not the it's not that pressing. That's the fact that they're that the ages
- 8:33can only hold these people for a certain amount of time, and you can
- 8:37only detain them for such a shortain amount time before you have to send them
- 8:41to a detention facility or you have to cut them loose. Why can't we
- 8:43just turn them back into Mexico? I know, I know, I've got
- 8:48to ask the question, not under this guy and running the running in the
- 8:52White House? That is not going to happen. And and and you know
- 8:56that's what my my big one of my big concerns is that is that what
- 9:03is coming out in the middle of nowhere where the agents can't work the traffic.
- 9:07On top of that, what is what is coming into the country that's
- 9:11well, you know, they're giving themselves up. Who is coming into this
- 9:15country that has you know, that has some bad intentions or was a criminal
- 9:20in their country? And I'm not saying they are all criminals, but jeez,
- 9:22Louise, I mean, what is this They're cutting people loose that we
- 9:26have no clue who the heck they are. And you know, and then
- 9:31like I told you earlier, you know military age men, it is not
- 9:35it's out of control person, There's no way. And the more I hear
- 9:39about it. Just the the more disgusted that I get, because it's just
- 9:45why have the agents down there? Just let's just open it up, let
- 9:48it all come in. What's the heck of me? That's what you're doing
- 9:50right now, you know, because people seem to think, oh, they're
- 9:52gonna you know, they're given a court that yeah, they're not going to
- 9:56show up to the court. That you'll never see these people again. You'll
- 9:58never see them again. Ay, Zeus stand by, We're gonna pick up
- 10:01right there, got a lot more to talk through in a final segment.
- 10:05That's a promo right there. When I said, why don't we just turn
- 10:07them loose and put them back in Mexico, he just laughed. WFLA on
- 10:13your phone with the iHeart Radio app and on hundreds of devices like Alexa,
- 10:18Google Home, Xbox, and son Noskay, So here we go in Ihearts
- 10:22Radio Season twenty two minutes past the hour, final segment, a Zeus Rodriguez,
- 10:33US Border Patrol agent retired. We're talking about the chaos and the untenable
- 10:39situation, the invasion that's going on in our southern border. A Zeus I
- 10:43ended the segment by saying that this problem is not easy to deal with,
- 10:50but it's simple, it's not complicated. Is that Is that an oversimplification somewhat
- 10:58the person Because what happens is that if you in the past, you would
- 11:03apprehend people and if they were determined them to be Mexico, you would send
- 11:07them back into Mexico. They were determined to be from another country or otms
- 11:11as as they're they're called, you would process and then send them to detention
- 11:16caps so they could ship them back out to their sending country. Unless there
- 11:20was some some circumstance where they were the judge would would cut them loose,
- 11:26you know from the incension facility at that point. I mean, you did
- 11:28your part, but the judge cut them loose. So you know, that's
- 11:31the way it worked. If Mexican immigration got involved and you were trying to
- 11:37send people back that were from let's say Venezuela or Columbia so most like,
- 11:41and they questioned them and they determined that they were from most kindes, they
- 11:43bring them back to you and say, hey, they're not Mexicans, they're
- 11:46they're from somewhere else, and so you have to process them, and you
- 11:48know, go that the the OTM route and so, and in the break,
- 11:52I said to you, so, why isn't that Mexico's problem, that
- 11:58that these people are crossing their southern border illegally or entering their country illegally.
- 12:05The origination point is Mexico, so it's their problem. And your answer was,
- 12:11well, there's probably some backdoor dealing there. I mean, and look
- 12:15who's in power in Mexico. You know, Lopus over so there's you know,
- 12:20there's a similar mindset between the guy in the White House and overalload in
- 12:26Mexico. So you know there's a lot of politics and you know going on
- 12:28there, and so you know, backdoor deals. I mean, you never
- 12:33know what's what what else is going on and who who benefits from this?
- 12:37Right because I mean think about the monetary costs that these people are paying,
- 12:41or somebody is paying these cartel members and word is you know, that's a
- 12:45lot of money. That's a ton of money, you know, a thousand
- 12:48in a day and multiplatform was whatever a monk they're charging, you know,
- 12:52people from from those African countries or from or from Venezuela. It's a lot
- 12:56of money that's changing hands. Yeah, we mentioned earlier in the week perhaps
- 13:01it was even last week. The researchers are determined one hundred and seventy five
- 13:05thousand employees or in the cartels. And that does not include people being paid
- 13:09like government officials, law enforcement officials under the table. And they're not in
- 13:15the business of loss leaders. Everything they do makes them money. Oh yeah,
- 13:20I mean again. I mean in the past, we have we apprehended
- 13:24Central Americans, even South Americans. It was an excess of five thousand dollars.
- 13:28You know, someone in next ten and in Chinese nationals or twenty on
- 13:33up. So imagine what the cost is now and how much money is really
- 13:39being made. Let's close with this this one here, let's just for giggles,
- 13:43say that we have a different administration. Maybe it's Trump, maybe it's
- 13:48Ryan De Santis, maybe it's NICKI Haley. Who knows who it might be.
- 13:52But we have a very different person in the White House in two years.
- 13:56And they just for some reason, they heard about our segments, they
- 14:00heard about you. They said, I want I want that guy Jeseus Rodriguez
- 14:03to sit down next to me and offer me some thoughts. What's the most
- 14:07effective things we ought to be doing to turn this situation around? You got
- 14:13to shut everything DOWNPRESS, and you have to shut that border down completely.
- 14:16You got to bring in some of that technology that the military has in order
- 14:20to detect people. You have to let agents do what agents are supposed to
- 14:26do. Agents are not supposed to be picking up people, you know,
- 14:30for their entire shift, processing them and get into to the stations and then
- 14:33coming back down and doing the same thing all over again. So they're not
- 14:35working the traffic. They're basically, you know, glorified bus drivers, you
- 14:41know, transporting people from pointing to point B. And so you know that
- 14:46that's happening, and you have to you have got to shut it down.
- 14:48PRESS there. You don't there's no other way to it. And like I
- 14:52said, military technology would work. Let the agents do what they're supposed to
- 14:56do out there. Unleash the agents and let them do it, you know,
- 15:01within the law, and have them. And then on top of that,
- 15:03if you're getting people from this from the OTMS, process them. If
- 15:07they don't have that credible fear, if it's not you know, it doesn't
- 15:11look like it's credible, put them on the next plaining, send them back
- 15:13to their countries. I guarantee that it's as you structing the people back to
- 15:16the countries where they came from. This will start to trickle down, but
- 15:22this is not happening, so they're all coming and more on their way.
- 15:24As always, we never have enough time, but I sure appreciate the time
- 15:28we get. A zus, thanks so very much. I appreciate your service
- 15:31to our country. We'll talk again soon, thank you. Okay, all
- 15:33right, Jesus Rodriguez with US US Border Patrol retired. When we come back,
- 15:39Peter Schweitzer scheduled to jump on board the phone lines with US. We'll
- 15:43talk about the Biden bribery problem. Next to the Morning Show with Preston Scott
