- 0:00Speaker 1: I don't believe you're not recording this. This is gold.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Listener. I had to start recording because Aaron bang the
- 0:06Speaker 2: knee and she's making the best faces and noises.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Oh god, it is so bad. I basically slammed my
- 0:15Speaker 3: knee into a metal pole right now, That's what I did. Oh.
- 0:19Speaker 3: If I can't walk tomorrow, it's because I tried to
- 0:22Speaker 3: hobble my knee somehow. I don't know.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Annie Wilkes yourself.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Well, I was like, Aaron, write more content, do more art.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Your leg's broken.
- 0:34Speaker 4: She hurt her knee on the pole.
- 0:38Speaker 3: It would not be the first time.
- 0:40Speaker 4: I believe it didn't even get.
- 0:42Speaker 5: Paid for it on the Lunai is part of the
- 0:46Speaker 5: Odd Pods media network.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Also, it wouldn't be a podcast if I wasn't about
- 1:11Speaker 3: to use this Pilo ketchup I've made myself. Just set
- 1:15Speaker 3: down my egg McMuffin. I'll be trying.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Eating while while talking. Always a good combination.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Yes, I'm sorry. What's the ketchup for.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Her egg McMuffin? Yeah, some people like ketchup on eggs.
- 1:33Speaker 3: By the way, the reason I brought up the reason
- 1:37Speaker 3: the reason I brought up to McDonald's is not because
- 1:39Speaker 3: I'm gonna actually eat this yet. I'm gonna wait until
- 1:41Speaker 3: we go away and watch the episode. I'm not gonna
- 1:43Speaker 3: chew in your ears. I'm not a total piece of shit.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But you recovered federal fence.
- 1:47Speaker 3: That wasn't a right. Okay, don't make that face at me. Miss.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I chew pretzels during World of Warcraft, and not any
- 1:54Speaker 3: pretzel or Diablo or Lego. Not any pretzel, but gluten
- 1:59Speaker 3: free press, which are essentially made out of rocks.
- 2:02Speaker 4: But are we recording when I'm eating it?
- 2:05Speaker 3: That's still annoying. But I'm not gonna eat while we're recording.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I'm a goddamn lady. I have drinks with no ice
- 2:13Speaker 3: for when we're recording, and I have drinks with ice
- 2:18Speaker 3: when we're not.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I've got my hydration station set up.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I do what's in your hydration station? Does everyone have one?
- 2:25Speaker 4: I have iced tea with lemon, I emptied BlackBerry, pomegranate,
- 2:31Speaker 4: true caffeine, and then I have water.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Well, first of all, I just have water. I'm very boring.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Oh all right, well, Meo, if you want to sponsor us,
- 2:43Speaker 3: I do have Meo unwined, which is my dragon fruit
- 2:48Speaker 3: berry flavors, ero, calories or sugar. I love it. It's great.
- 2:52Speaker 3: That's my ice free beverage in my target room essentials,
- 2:56Speaker 3: iridescent tumbler, Target but sent targrit Yep, it's like the
- 3:02Speaker 3: new targe anyway, you have the wrong parts to pick
- 3:07Speaker 3: on me today. Next up, we had just kidding, I
- 3:10Speaker 3: love you so much?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Maybe site.
- 3:13Speaker 1: As the show started.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we just kind of slop into it.
- 3:19Speaker 3: We called open. I've got a text, hold on. Let
- 3:23Speaker 3: me silence my phone like a professional.
- 3:25Speaker 2: We're not professional.
- 3:27Speaker 3: It's been our rough twenty four hours for me. Guys,
- 3:29Speaker 3: let me finish unpacking. Iced coffee, leachy green iced tea.
- 3:34Speaker 3: All right, I'm done.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Nice, our guests can fucking wait. I gotta tell you
- 3:36Speaker 2: what I have to drink.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Yeah, now here's the knee was just like the icing
- 3:42Speaker 3: on the cake. I had a surgical console yestoray, which
- 3:46Speaker 3: is fine. And by yesterday, I mean in this future
- 3:48Speaker 3: world several months ago I had one. And that day
- 3:52Speaker 3: I went out to the car. I had to take
- 3:55Speaker 3: Abby with me because Abby wouldn't get in a crate
- 3:58Speaker 3: and she wouldn't stop screaming, and so we go off
- 4:01Speaker 3: to the hospital. It was very cold here. I'm not
- 4:03Speaker 3: a monster. It was like sixty five degrees, so she
- 4:06Speaker 3: wasn't gonna like die in the car. Plus I leave
- 4:08Speaker 3: the windows open when we go places. No one tells
- 4:12Speaker 3: me it's gonna be like an hour and a half appointment.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It was like never ending. So many things were explained
- 4:18Speaker 3: to me, and I was like, did I mention that
- 4:20Speaker 3: my dog's in the car because she was being a
- 4:22Speaker 3: douche And I can't leave her in the house if
- 4:25Speaker 3: she won't get in her crate because she'll eat things
- 4:28Speaker 3: or like destroy stuff for funzies. And they're like, okay,
- 4:31Speaker 3: one more form, just sign this, and I get out
- 4:33Speaker 3: to the car and a literal shit storm has happened.
- 4:36Speaker 3: My dog is covered in poop her little basket she
- 4:39Speaker 3: rides in and the car is covered in poop. Her
- 4:41Speaker 3: leg is tangled, but like not in a way where
- 4:43Speaker 3: she hurt herself, but her leg is tangled around her
- 4:45Speaker 3: leash like she was spinning in a circle. And then
- 4:49Speaker 3: I touch her and I get shit on me. So
- 4:52Speaker 3: then I draft to drive home from the hospital with
- 4:54Speaker 3: shit on my person on my hand, I'm I very
- 4:57Speaker 3: safely drove with my right hand basically by touching, like
- 5:01Speaker 3: near the wrist as my backup, like turning thing, because
- 5:05Speaker 3: that hand had the poop on it. We get I
- 5:08Speaker 3: have no napkins in my glovebox because Kristin and I
- 5:11Speaker 3: used them all when we went to hold the wheat.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I have nothing left. I'm covered in shit. I get home.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I throw both of us in the shower. We both
- 5:21Speaker 3: get a shower. She's very mad about it. I'm less
- 5:24Speaker 3: pleased because, like cher, I've put on a second outfit
- 5:27Speaker 3: for the day. I must be very fancy. I had
- 5:31Speaker 3: three outfits yesterday, guys, three outfits. Anyway, long story short.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Too late.
- 5:37Speaker 3: I can't I can't have any weed now because I'm
- 5:40Speaker 3: gonna have this surgery biopsy thing. Abby's pissed because she's
- 5:45Speaker 3: had a bath and someone made her shit on herself
- 5:48Speaker 3: in the car and dance in it like fucking I
- 5:50Speaker 3: love Lucy and the Grapes. This morning, I wake up,
- 5:53Speaker 3: my meds aren't ready. We go to the pharmacy. There's
- 5:55Speaker 3: like nine thousand old people in front of me who
- 5:58Speaker 3: can't hear. Also, so the show notes for the second
- 6:01Speaker 3: show just fell off the cloud, like the second anyway. Look,
- 6:06Speaker 3: it's been a really rough twenty four hours. So if
- 6:08Speaker 3: I'm a little a little spicy today, it's not you, guys,
- 6:13Speaker 3: it's me. And I'm unmedicated because, by the way, when
- 6:16Speaker 3: I picked up my drugs today, I hadn't had my
- 6:19Speaker 3: anxiety meds for like two days because they were out
- 6:23Speaker 3: of them and they were waiting for them to come in.
- 6:25Speaker 3: And I don't know if you've ever had anxiety listeners,
- 6:28Speaker 3: but entreated anxiety is insane.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Oh I'm sorry.
- 6:34Speaker 2: So you're good. Then you're a good, duper good all right.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Having the best day of my life, you guys, I
- 6:42Speaker 3: can't remember a better time.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I think she's not happy unless something goes wrong, do
- 6:47Speaker 2: you guys think?
- 6:49Speaker 3: I don't know, because nothing ever, no, see, nothing ever
- 6:53Speaker 3: goes right. I don't know. I'm just jolly despite the
- 6:56Speaker 3: tragedy of my everyday life. See there's a difference.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I see you persevere.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I tell the tragedy in a funny way because it
- 7:05Speaker 3: amuses my friends.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I sure does.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I don't enjoy the tragedy. My knee very much still hurts.
- 7:13Speaker 3: By the way, I'm just rubbing it with my left hand.
- 7:16Speaker 3: That seems to not help.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Try the right.
- 7:23Speaker 2: All right, Well, I will acknowledge our guest if you won't.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Yes, we have a guest. Today.
- 7:31Speaker 2: We have Jeff Schuster from Suggested Articles, a podcast, a
- 7:37Speaker 2: podcast on the odd pod Media.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Sure pods Media.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Welcome Jeff, Hi.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Thanks for having me. Great to be here, especially today
- 7:51Speaker 1: with Aaron's poop story that was that's that's going to
- 7:55Speaker 1: hold a really special place in my heart. Is the
- 7:58Speaker 1: poop story going to make the episode? Am I talking?
- 8:01Speaker 4: No? It has to be. Yeah, sure, Aaron and poop
- 8:03Speaker 4: go hand in hand.
- 8:05Speaker 2: So Aaron puts poop in her hand?
- 8:09Speaker 3: No, not on purpose, well yesterday technically yes, but not
- 8:12Speaker 3: for not for a couple.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Weeks ago she stepped on it.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Mm hmm o, god, I know it is. It is.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I am not well suited for, like any job that
- 8:24Speaker 3: involves cleaning up human or pet waste. Like it's I
- 8:28Speaker 3: don't know why, that's like my one ick, but like
- 8:32Speaker 3: it is my ick. Like I truthfully, this McDonald's will
- 8:37Speaker 3: be the first thing I've eaten with my hand since
- 8:40Speaker 3: I got abby shipped on my hand.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I understand that if I use my right hand.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah, freaks me out, just real quick. Schister is an
- 8:49Speaker 3: amazing human and I love him. Oh wait, do we
- 8:52Speaker 3: say your.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Name on We talked about this name out there.
- 8:57Speaker 3: This is in the future.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Are you hiding your name?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Well, the nssay is onto me, but I don't know
- 9:03Speaker 1: that they're going to follow me from show to show
- 9:05Speaker 1: to show.
- 9:05Speaker 2: So it's okay, what does that mean. Have you've been
- 9:08Speaker 2: sent a letter?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Well, they don't send paper letters. They send signs and signals.
- 9:14Speaker 1: There's there's ways to know that they're watching. Okay, there's
- 9:18Speaker 1: always something watching us, and that's the you know I
- 9:21Speaker 1: have It happened in relation to this very show, not
- 9:24Speaker 1: that long ago. I always watch. I'll give you an example.
- 9:33Speaker 1: This is why I do the podcast I do. I
- 9:36Speaker 1: have been listening to your show. I love Envil and
- 9:39Speaker 1: I I watched Golden Girls when I was a kid,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and I have not because I mostly listened to podcasts
- 9:44Speaker 1: while driving, so I haven't been watching along with you guys. Therefore, therefore,
- 9:50Speaker 1: there's really nothing like in my Internet search history or
- 9:54Speaker 1: whatever that would have Golden Girls on my on my
- 9:58Speaker 1: profile right. But it was just a couple of weeks
- 10:01Speaker 1: ago that there was some kind of event in l
- 10:03Speaker 1: A and I immediately got the headlines about how b
- 10:06Speaker 1: Arthur used to call Betty White a cunt? Am I
- 10:11Speaker 1: allowed to say cunt? On your show? Apparently b Arthur
- 10:18Speaker 1: did not really care for Betty White? But why did
- 10:20Speaker 1: that show up in my suggested articles on my phone? Well,
- 10:25Speaker 1: because I talk about on the LINI I talk about
- 10:28Speaker 1: the Golden Girls. I talk about your show, but I
- 10:30Speaker 1: don't look it up. It's just, you know, something that's
- 10:33Speaker 1: in my life. I don't actively seek out the Golden Girls.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So the algorithm knows. And now I feel like I
- 10:39Speaker 1: have a choice. I can either fight the algorithm or
- 10:42Speaker 1: just give myself to it, which is what I tend
- 10:45Speaker 1: to choose to do. All hail the algorithm, and.
- 10:50Speaker 2: That's the sign from the NSA or something else happened.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They're part of it. They're part of the Look look
- 10:56Speaker 1: behind me, see all these see all these pins. Conspiracy
- 11:00Speaker 1: board here, they're in there somewhere. You can't see him
- 11:02Speaker 1: right now down at the bottom.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I don't know who made that incredible graphic, but I
- 11:06Speaker 3: want to point out that if you read all the things,
- 11:10Speaker 3: the one says who is a'l go rhythm? And then
- 11:13Speaker 3: one says grassy roll.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I love that's supposed to be like the grassy Knoll.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Yeah this art is this a video podcast?
- 11:24Speaker 2: No?
- 11:25Speaker 3: No, I did.
- 11:30Speaker 1: If you want to see the art, look.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Up glasses on, but you could just see the pupils.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Well I made the Muppets.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that.
- 11:39Speaker 3: And there's a UFO trying to pick up Jeff one
- 11:42Speaker 3: f or one f. Oh yeah, it's trying to suck
- 11:45Speaker 3: him up into this guy.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one F Jeff sorting.
- 11:50Speaker 4: See that one looks like a math teacher.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Though, well this guy over here, well he could be
- 11:55Speaker 1: I mean, he could be me, or that could be
- 11:57Speaker 1: George Lucas Lucas and then.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, I was trying to the algorithm is telling
- 12:04Speaker 2: me to make another suit.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Jeff was Jeff. I was like, well, the ones the
- 12:09Speaker 3: math teacher. My mom legitimately was like, why do you
- 12:15Speaker 3: hate your friend that's a math teacher? And I was like,
- 12:18Speaker 3: look here, Janet, he's not really a math teacher. He
- 12:21Speaker 3: just dresses like one. Oh you're missing is the chalk
- 12:24Speaker 3: dance on your slacks?
- 12:25Speaker 2: What type of math do you teach?
- 12:28Speaker 1: I teach about algorithms. That's all I care about now, okay.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Pre algebra, that's all I can handle.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Algebra. Wow wow, wow, I was good at algebra. I
- 12:41Speaker 2: was bad at geometry.
- 12:42Speaker 4: I love geometry.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I was all right until calculus. Then things really fell.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Off on calculus. Hate you plus me equals us.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I hate math.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Math, but I did really good in business calculus.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So why do you hate math? I'm good as true.
- 13:00Speaker 3: They hate it? Okay, Katie Heron.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Does not exist?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Wait, I remember it that day. It was on the
- 13:13Speaker 3: Missus Norberry was talking about it behind Aaron on the board.
- 13:17Speaker 3: All right, well, we've mean girls reference, and it's been
- 13:20Speaker 3: a little a little while. I feel like we mean
- 13:22Speaker 3: girls reference a lot.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Have you seen the movie Mean Girls?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yes, but I did not catch that reference because it's
- 13:29Speaker 1: been a long time.
- 13:29Speaker 2: It's October three. Well, welcome, Jeff. I'm always good to
- 13:34Speaker 2: know that you enjoy the Golden Girls and you've seen them.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Have you watched them as an adult? Have you done
- 13:39Speaker 2: a rewatch to catch all the jokes you may have missed?
- 13:42Speaker 1: No? Well, I thought I would follow along with this
- 13:45Speaker 1: show and then just kind of has me in my car,
- 13:47Speaker 1: So I haven't been, but I really should.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Are you driving now, don't?
- 13:52Speaker 1: I can't. I can either confirm nor deny, but I
- 13:55Speaker 1: will promise that I'll watch along the episode, whether I'm
- 13:58Speaker 1: driving or not, you're not.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Going in driving and potting.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I wouldn't put it past him. If we're just being honest.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I have done some pretty stupid shit, so you never know.
- 14:09Speaker 3: A few months ago, when we recorded yest articles together
- 14:12Speaker 3: the last time, I very specifically at the end of
- 14:15Speaker 3: the question said hey, or at the beginning of the episode,
- 14:18Speaker 3: was like, should I like be totally stone cold somewhere
- 14:21Speaker 3: for this, or like, is it okay if I smoke
- 14:22Speaker 3: a little weed?
- 14:24Speaker 2: Okay?
- 14:24Speaker 3: They said, yes, you're fine, smoke the weed and.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Then encourage it.
- 14:29Speaker 3: They're like, oh, we took kratum And I was like,
- 14:32Speaker 3: what is that? It's like a herbal supplement? Is it?
- 14:36Speaker 3: Happy Hippo? Is that the really cool company that I like.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Happy Hippo is the brand that sent us the brand
- 14:42Speaker 1: a sample pack.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yes, it gets you high or what?
- 14:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like it's for pain management and like calmbing effects,
- 14:51Speaker 3: but it's it gets you high.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Okay, I'm supposed to give you energy and stamina.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah, so like you buy at the gas station
- 15:00Speaker 2: kind of thing.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Maybe maybe I'm not you wouldn't do that. I would
- 15:04Speaker 1: definitely use the Happy hippo brand, like.
- 15:06Speaker 2: The little five hour energies up they.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Make those, They do make little energy shots. I try
- 15:12Speaker 1: to a kid version.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that faithful.
- 15:17Speaker 3: That fateful day all those months ago. Just kidding, all right?
- 15:21Speaker 3: So do you have anything you want to push or
- 15:26Speaker 3: talk about or when watch the show?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Oh well, I don't know. We heard your poop story,
- 15:32Speaker 1: which I think makes my life complete. And if anyone
- 15:38Speaker 1: wants to see what muppet Jeff looks like, they should
- 15:40Speaker 1: look up suggested articles on your favorite podcast app. Yes, yes,
- 15:45Speaker 1: joining the.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Let us share this photo or background.
- 15:50Speaker 3: There are pod brothers on the on PUDs Media Network.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Hopefully one day we'll have the other Jeff.
- 15:57Speaker 3: And I am their charge, as Iron calls them Iron. Yeah, well, Gina,
- 16:05Speaker 3: would you like to tell us about this?
- 16:06Speaker 2: Sure? We're gonna watch season two, episode ten. It's called
- 16:11Speaker 2: Love Rose. Original air date Mama Rose, Yes, original air
- 16:17Speaker 2: date was December thirteenth, nineteen eighty six, is directed by
- 16:21Speaker 2: Terry Hughes and written by Terry Grossman and Kathy Spear.
- 16:25Speaker 2: So what do you Kristin and Jeff think Love Rose
- 16:28Speaker 2: is about?
- 16:30Speaker 1: I love Rose, She's my favorite. What will this be about?
- 16:34Speaker 2: That's Kristen's favorite too.
- 16:36Speaker 1: This is why I haven't started a poulo yet, because
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'm not supposed to know what the episode's about. Right,
- 16:40Speaker 1: that's right, Love Rose. I think Rose is going to
- 16:45Speaker 1: have a secret admirer and she has to do some
- 16:48Speaker 1: detective work for Arah. Who it is?
- 16:51Speaker 2: You know, Hulu doesn't have the question mark, but when
- 16:53Speaker 2: I looked it up, it said love Rose. So it's
- 16:56Speaker 2: either love Rose or Love Rose. Not sure.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Let's double check my official Golden Girls list of all episodes.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Let's see how they were titled this one. Let's get
- 17:09Speaker 3: a let's get a recheck here.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I don't know that I make a huge difference.
- 17:13Speaker 3: I feel like my yeah, well, I feel like my grammar. Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 3: mine's love Comma Rose.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Okay, But it doesn't mean that the.
- 17:21Speaker 3: People at Golden Girls Wiki put together the season list
- 17:24Speaker 3: with the right punctulation.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Well that's what it says on Hulu too, so we'll
- 17:28Speaker 2: go with that Love Rose, all right, Christian, what do
- 17:31Speaker 2: you think it's about?
- 17:32Speaker 4: Rose writes kind of like a Dear John letter. She's
- 17:37Speaker 4: trying to break up with somebody, and it's a Love
- 17:41Speaker 4: Rose is the end of the letter. So she's sending
- 17:44Speaker 4: a letter to break up with someone.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Okay, all right, you both kind of are in the
- 17:50Speaker 2: same realm, right very much?
- 17:53Speaker 1: He is much more depressing than mine.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, well, krista dark that's our Kristen.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Too long, Aaron's rubbing off on me.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, who do we think the villain is for
- 18:07Speaker 3: the episode? You just have to pick and I have
- 18:10Speaker 3: to prove it.
- 18:11Speaker 2: So let's go any of the four girls.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Or capitalism if you're Aaron right.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Well, I mean, if Christen's right, I guess the villain
- 18:21Speaker 1: would be Rose for breaking someone's heart. But I don't
- 18:23Speaker 1: think she's right. It has to be Blanche because if
- 18:26Speaker 1: Rose is getting attention from a man, Blanche is going
- 18:29Speaker 1: to be jealous and try to sabotage it. I like that.
- 18:32Speaker 2: That's very well thought out.
- 18:34Speaker 3: It is. I like it all right, cool, I'll locked
- 18:38Speaker 3: it in final answer, Blanche Blanch Should we go away
- 18:44Speaker 3: while you guys listen to some commercials and then we'll
- 18:47Speaker 3: talk about the episode.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Reddy Freddy.
- 18:51Speaker 2: If you like fun, then you're gonna love the beard
- 18:54Speaker 2: Out podcast.
- 18:55Speaker 3: It's a podcast where we talk about.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Two of the greatest things in the world, beer and
- 19:00Speaker 6: weird out and frankly we talk more about weird Out
- 19:03Speaker 6: than anything because he's the.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Gift that keeps on given.
- 19:06Speaker 6: So join us as we talk through weird Al's career,
- 19:10Speaker 6: what he needs to us, and we have some very
- 19:13Speaker 6: special guests on to discuss the magic that is Alfred
- 19:17Speaker 6: Matthew Yankovic Beard Out, part of the Odd God's Media network.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Welcome Back, Welcome, You're welcome.
- 19:31Speaker 4: That was fun.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Did you like that episode?
- 19:34Speaker 1: It was pretty funny until the end where Rose forgave them,
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like I would not be so forgiving.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I don't you got to wrap up three?
- 19:46Speaker 1: Fine, it's the TV show, But would you forgive your
- 19:48Speaker 1: friends for doing that to you?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Not immediately, but I think I think I would realize
- 19:54Speaker 2: they were trying to help me.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Like old school catfishing.
- 20:01Speaker 2: It was.
- 20:03Speaker 3: It was from a good place, like it wasn't like malicious.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I just can't believe she found the person with that name.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I can't believe she found a person with that name
- 20:13Speaker 3: that didn't know who the real Isaac Newton was.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Well, and he works in education.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe he's a math teacher, just kidding.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We know he's he's a vice principal or a principal.
- 20:26Speaker 3: I don't know, I'm aware. I'm aware. All right, Well, hey,
- 20:31Speaker 3: so that was fun. You guys wanna you wanna play quiz? Maybe?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Oh, I'm scared. This is my first quiz. I don't
- 20:39Speaker 1: think that's gonna go that well, you'll be fine.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Off the bat. I'm not sure, but I think only
- 20:45Speaker 3: Kristen can get the first question right because one of
- 20:48Speaker 3: you wasn't in the room and the other one wasn't
- 20:50Speaker 3: looking at their TV. Let's start off with the bang.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Tell him how to buzz in.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Okay, so to buzz in, mister Schuster, what you're gonna
- 20:59Speaker 3: do is you're gonna say your name, So I'm gonna
- 21:03Speaker 3: read the question. Please allow me to finish the question
- 21:06Speaker 3: fully before you buzz in. If you buzz in before
- 21:09Speaker 3: I finish the question, I may not allow you to answer.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I don't know. That's a new role that It.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Depends on how she feels.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a question.
- 21:18Speaker 3: This is a lot like bfy tw You are at
- 21:21Speaker 3: the whim of you were at. You were here to
- 21:24Speaker 3: please me when the quiz happens. The rest of the time,
- 21:27Speaker 3: I'm I'm just here as a fellow chat person. All right,
- 21:31Speaker 3: let's go quiz number one. What kind of car pulls
- 21:36Speaker 3: into the driveway this time.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Yes, Kristin, it's a taxi.
- 21:44Speaker 3: It is. Yeah, it's a yellow cab. Mm hmm mm hmm.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I assume you're keeping track of your points.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Yes, ma'am.
- 21:52Speaker 2: You meant, like the making model that I'm gonna get it. No, Kristen,
- 21:56Speaker 2: I'll just keep trying.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Kristen, did she does it? I don't. I don't keep
- 22:00Speaker 3: track anymore. Yeah, that's up to you, all right. Question two,
- 22:07Speaker 3: what's what bus? Does Sophia say they changed the route
- 22:11Speaker 3: without putting up a sign?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Yes quick?
- 22:16Speaker 4: The route tens?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yes?
- 22:19Speaker 3: Correct.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I believe in you, Jeff.
- 22:22Speaker 3: We're going to do one of my favorite things here.
- 22:25Speaker 3: We're going to do a two part question. Please let
- 22:30Speaker 3: me finish both parts before you answer. Who is the
- 22:36Speaker 3: only woman Blanche knew that went without male companionship longer
- 22:40Speaker 3: than Rose? And why was that?
- 22:43Speaker 4: Kristen?
- 22:45Speaker 3: You both made almost not a full name sound.
- 22:49Speaker 2: I I think Kristin.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I think Kristen was first, but neither of you actually
- 22:56Speaker 3: finished your name. It was very strange. So Kristen, go ahead.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Heather Swain and social disease.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Right the full line, just in case anyone wasn't paying attention,
- 23:08Speaker 3: or you haven't watched the episode yet and you're not
- 23:09Speaker 3: sure if you should. You should, because the full line
- 23:12Speaker 3: was that she went to the sanitarium because Reverend Samuels
- 23:17Speaker 3: assisted that she had the croup, which all of Mayflower
- 23:20Speaker 3: County knew was actually a social pleast.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Why would she was a sanitarium for a respiratory illment?
- 23:28Speaker 3: I don't know, why would like an STD.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Anytime a woman has an issue, they send her the
- 23:35Speaker 4: sanitarian They.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Send her Yeah, they send her away. No, that's a
- 23:38Speaker 3: real thing back in the day, Like yeah, like people
- 23:41Speaker 3: would go be sent to like a sanitarium and then
- 23:44Speaker 3: come home and then all of a sudden, the like
- 23:47Speaker 3: teenage daughter's parents would have a new baby in the
- 23:50Speaker 3: house and it would be because they raised it as
- 23:52Speaker 3: their own because the girl got knocked up. It was
- 23:54Speaker 3: like shit like that. The fifties were wild. Do you
- 23:57Speaker 3: think Bluie and the eighties were wild? The fifties were wilder.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I'm just I'm looking it up and it said they
- 24:04Speaker 2: did also treat medical.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Well, yeah, sanitarium didn't always mean mental hospital. It kind
- 24:08Speaker 1: of devolved into that. But like look up the history
- 24:12Speaker 1: of uh, what's his name? John Harvey Kellogg his sanitary God.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, the guy who made yeah.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That that was called the Sanitarium And mostly it was
- 24:24Speaker 1: like yogurt enemas and uh not masturbating, like that's what
- 24:28Speaker 1: it was all about.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Abby, Did you want a yogurt enema today? Checking? All right,
- 24:37Speaker 3: next question, let's move on. You know what is Rose's
- 24:41Speaker 3: response to Blanche when she asked if Rose ever thought
- 24:44Speaker 3: about advertising? Bonus point if you get both parts of
- 24:48Speaker 3: her reply.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Jeff, yes, Jeff, Okay. She says that she could never
- 24:53Speaker 1: dress like Blanche, and also she has to wear panties
- 24:56Speaker 1: because some of her skirts are woolen scratchy.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Yeah they're unlined.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Yeah, she says. Not, she says, besides, I have to
- 25:04Speaker 3: wear undies. Not all of my wolf skirts are lined. Okay,
- 25:09Speaker 3: So that was a no stump bonus. So he gets
- 25:11Speaker 3: two points for that. And even if you hadn't got
- 25:13Speaker 3: that right, I have instituted that system. Now I have
- 25:17Speaker 3: a no stump bonus question scattered throughout. There will be
- 25:22Speaker 3: one in future episodes as well. It's like really hard
- 25:26Speaker 3: and I want to ask it because it's something funny,
- 25:28Speaker 3: but I don't expect the world Okay, moving on. First,
- 25:34Speaker 3: I want to point out that Sophia is eating a
- 25:37Speaker 3: gram cracker again, So either Estelle Getty really likes those,
- 25:41Speaker 3: or she lost a bet to eat the driest thing
- 25:44Speaker 3: ever while on set without liquid. Anyway, men, Rose asks
- 25:49Speaker 3: her if she has a date. What is Sophia's snarky reply.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Kristen, Yes, because she asked me. She said, no, I'm
- 25:59Speaker 4: doing the dance the Seven Veils and I'm one short
- 26:01Speaker 4: because she asked to borrow her silk scarf.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Yes, correct, correct, All right, terrific. Who is it that
- 26:10Speaker 3: remembers where they were when the Archduke Ferdinand was shot?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Jeff, Yes, Jeff Willie, the British ninety year old.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, you didn't even take notes, did you? This
- 26:23Speaker 3: is just like in your head.
- 26:25Speaker 1: But like the panties thing was in my head because
- 26:28Speaker 1: you know, Betty White, but.
- 26:31Speaker 3: It is I did have like I did. I had
- 26:36Speaker 3: the uncomfortable thought of like, oh, that's probably because it
- 26:39Speaker 3: turned her on all day, like I had that thought
- 26:42Speaker 3: watching it the first time through. So anyway, let's let's
- 26:46Speaker 3: move on. Why did Rose say she failed the ink
- 26:51Speaker 3: blot test?
- 26:52Speaker 2: Genist Gina got it. She kept cutting them out. I
- 26:58Speaker 2: had to get on.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yes, you both sort of delayed said it. I don't
- 27:03Speaker 3: even know, but yes, Chris did or Gita was first?
- 27:07Speaker 3: I think? I don't know take the point. I think, well,
- 27:12Speaker 3: because mine, like if my internet's lagging, I don't always
- 27:16Speaker 3: hear the same answers who's first. That's why sometimes I
- 27:19Speaker 3: ask the audience what they heard first? Who is reasonably
- 27:25Speaker 3: good looking? Drives a buick Riviera and just opened a
- 27:29Speaker 3: third dry cleaning store in Boca Raton.
- 27:34Speaker 1: His name?
- 27:34Speaker 4: I wrote down all of that, but I didn't get
- 27:36Speaker 4: the name.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Fuck?
- 27:40Speaker 3: Am I getting a point on this?
- 27:43Speaker 2: I want to say, Harry something, Oh you're so close.
- 27:46Speaker 3: It's it's Henry Barnes Henry Wow.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Yay Aaron and got a point?
- 27:54Speaker 3: Sick, I got three?
- 27:56Speaker 2: Why didn't you say it like you were teasing her?
- 28:04Speaker 3: Have you met her? All right, let's move on. Nice
- 28:07Speaker 3: to meet you, Hello, Nice to meet you, Welcome. What's
- 28:12Speaker 3: that guy's what's that guy's name from Animal House? Da
- 28:16Speaker 3: Da Rush Sherman, damn good, damn find to meet you?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I can't think of his name?
- 28:21Speaker 3: All right? Anyway? What is the name of Roses pen Pal?
- 28:28Speaker 4: Kristen?
- 28:30Speaker 3: Okay? Yes, Kristen was first Isaac Newton, Yes, correct. I
- 28:35Speaker 3: also would have accepted Blanche here, but Isaac Newton is
- 28:38Speaker 3: the correct answer. And then this is a question, but
- 28:41Speaker 3: it's not really a question and there's no right answer.
- 28:43Speaker 3: It's just to make sure we talk about this later
- 28:45Speaker 3: when we get to the trivia section with Gina, because
- 28:48Speaker 3: I wrote down should we talk about Dorothy's tuxedo skirts
- 28:52Speaker 3: separates or Blanche Blanche's sequiny nightmare? That is, that is
- 28:57Speaker 3: what I wrote down, so that we talk about it later.
- 29:00Speaker 3: You're welcome question number ten.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Thanks you Are we going to talk about it?
- 29:05Speaker 4: We are?
- 29:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she mentioned got it in the trivia We're
- 29:10Speaker 3: going to talk about it. I heard Gena say that
- 29:13Speaker 3: while we were watching, but I did not want to
- 29:15Speaker 3: go without discussing that atrocity. They both both atrocities. Anyway,
- 29:22Speaker 3: what does the real Isaac say tends to calm his nerves?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Yes, Jeff, because it's the same for me. Cheese.
- 29:33Speaker 3: You have that in common with Kristen. I'm honestly shocked
- 29:36Speaker 3: she didn't get the cheese answer right.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Oh, we love cheese because it makes us happy. Yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 1: it fills me with endorphins. The pleasure of.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Cheese gives me.
- 29:54Speaker 3: You can't have dairy anymore, So you're not a good
- 29:57Speaker 3: person to like understand the cheese.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Com I'm so sad for you.
- 30:02Speaker 3: No, you're a great person. I have to take milk.
- 30:06Speaker 3: I have to take lactad pills like basically before I have.
- 30:10Speaker 3: I haven't tried those too much. Cheese they sell them.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Tillamook knows that people love cheese more than they love
- 30:16Speaker 3: their insides. And at the Tillamook store in the airport,
- 30:21Speaker 3: they're like, buy our grilled cheese breakfast sandwich and this
- 30:24Speaker 3: coffee with a scoop of ice cream in it, and
- 30:26Speaker 3: then they have lactaed right, it's like a coffee.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, let's talk about that.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Is it's a coffee float, and you choose they do
- 30:36Speaker 3: an iced coffee and then they do a scoop of
- 30:40Speaker 3: one of the Tillamook ice creams and they don't have
- 30:43Speaker 3: any like the weird fruit shit they just I had
- 30:46Speaker 3: one once on a business trip because my company was
- 30:49Speaker 3: paying for my breakfast and so my coffee I don't
- 30:54Speaker 3: have a coffee float. It was good, but I would
- 30:58Speaker 3: you had to kind of stir you drank though, because
- 31:01Speaker 3: like it's an airport food, so you don't really have
- 31:04Speaker 3: the ability while you're like trying to fight for your.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Seat, and it was way over like.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah, because you have I get twenty I get twenty
- 31:14Speaker 3: five dollars I think per meal for my expense report,
- 31:17Speaker 3: and so I didn't even spend that much, but it
- 31:20Speaker 3: was close to it because the grilled cheese is like
- 31:23Speaker 3: eight or nine dollars. No, you cannot. I'm allowed to
- 31:26Speaker 3: drink on my expense report. They're like, if you would
- 31:28Speaker 3: normally drink at this time of day, it's fine to
- 31:31Speaker 3: put it on your expense report. It's like, I have a.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Bump of coke? Can I expense that?
- 31:37Speaker 4: I've had a Mexican coffee float?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Oh what makes Yeah? What's different?
- 31:43Speaker 4: You had tequila. It's like a tequila coffee with the
- 31:49Speaker 4: like vanilla ice cream was good.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Oh that sounds sexy.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I think in my mouth coffee. After this, I'm going
- 31:57Speaker 1: to PLoP some ice cream into it. That sounds like
- 31:59Speaker 1: way better than coffee ice cream right there.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Well, so I have to tell you, and I'm sorry
- 32:06Speaker 3: because this is one of the ones I'm not supposed
- 32:07Speaker 3: to pick up all recording because listen to it audience,
- 32:11Speaker 3: that's the ice, but in this tumbler. I know, but
- 32:16Speaker 3: I had you show the tumbler that people won't say,
- 32:19Speaker 3: I'm sorry. This is a safe space even for people
- 32:22Speaker 3: with ice anyway. Not well, not like ice. People use
- 32:27Speaker 3: frozen water in their drinks. Fuck sorry anyway, Kristen, when
- 32:36Speaker 3: she was here, she doesn't do a ton of dairy.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Not really. You do the dairy free creamer. You buy
- 32:42Speaker 3: that coconut coffee mat creamer. It's the coconut cream one.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Look at your face anyway.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Well, we just talked about how she loves cheese.
- 32:50Speaker 3: You know, she does dairy. But when she chooses your
- 32:54Speaker 3: coffee creamer you had the both times you bought that
- 32:58Speaker 3: coconut cream one from whatever, It doesn't matter. She introduced
- 33:02Speaker 3: me to this. So I got home and spoiler alert.
- 33:05Speaker 3: In addition to my sandwich that was subpar, which half
- 33:08Speaker 3: of it is still here, by the way, because it
- 33:10Speaker 3: was so some par, McDonald's coffee tastes like shit today.
- 33:13Speaker 3: So I put a little drizzle of the Hershey's simply
- 33:18Speaker 3: dark chocolate in it myself, and a little bit of
- 33:21Speaker 3: the coconut creamer. I have basically what used to be
- 33:25Speaker 3: called a samoa and now I can't remember what they're
- 33:27Speaker 3: Coconut dreams, that's what they're called. I have a coconut
- 33:30Speaker 3: dreams like latte. I basically made a girl Scout cookie latte.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I'm proud of you.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Will I get diabetes later today?
- 33:36Speaker 1: Yes?
- 33:37Speaker 3: Is it delicious?
- 33:39Speaker 2: Diabetes is delicious? Yes?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Yes?
- 33:42Speaker 3: Just ask Wilford Brimley. Well, don't he's dead, but let's
- 33:45Speaker 3: go on. That's remember twelve.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Why Diab just killed me?
- 33:52Speaker 3: All right? Why does Isaac say he doesn't want to
- 33:57Speaker 3: be an astronaut?
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:01Speaker 1: Oh, I feel bad now you take it.
- 34:05Speaker 2: No, you're the guest, Jeff, you were first or first?
- 34:08Speaker 3: She didn't answer until after. I think I said yes
- 34:11Speaker 3: to you, So go out.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Fine.
- 34:13Speaker 1: An't like to go to the bathroom in his suit.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I wasn't that delayed.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I love you. I'm just teasing you. I love everybody
- 34:24Speaker 3: except Abby. When she ships storms in my car, that's
- 34:28Speaker 3: your fault. What happens when Rose eventually comes out of
- 34:32Speaker 3: the bathroom.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Stall you know.
- 34:37Speaker 2: A line of women applaud?
- 34:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 34:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Initially I was going to write this question to
- 34:43Speaker 3: say something snarky, like, just like Universal Studios. What happens
- 34:47Speaker 3: when Rose gets out of the bathroom and I was
- 34:50Speaker 3: gonna say, they.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Clap her out.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 3: If for those of you that are listening that have
- 34:54Speaker 3: never been in Universal studios, the first time I experienced that,
- 34:58Speaker 3: because they're clapping for you because the movie he's over,
- 35:00Speaker 3: the experience, the ride you run that movie finger quotes
- 35:03Speaker 3: here is over. And the first time I experienced that,
- 35:07Speaker 3: I had just gotten off the Mummy roller coaster ride there,
- 35:09Speaker 3: which I was like, what just happened? Because it is
- 35:12Speaker 3: confusing the last moments of that ride. There's just like
- 35:16Speaker 3: of like fog that engulfs your car, and you're also
- 35:20Speaker 3: just like, I don't understand the story of this, And
- 35:24Speaker 3: people start clapping like you did it, you wrote the ride,
- 35:29Speaker 3: And I was like, the fuck is happening?
- 35:31Speaker 2: You did the thing I needed you to do by
- 35:33Speaker 2: sitting there.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Yeah, like people clap on the plane lambs the fuck. Well,
- 35:39Speaker 4: I get it.
- 35:40Speaker 2: At the end of a movie, I'm like, the movie
- 35:41Speaker 2: can't hear you.
- 35:42Speaker 1: They're happy to be alive. Oh yeah, I don't like
- 35:44Speaker 1: clapping the end of movies. That doesn't make any sense
- 35:46Speaker 1: to me unless you're at a premiere where the stars
- 35:48Speaker 1: are But yeah, then it makes sense.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. Well that's the of my quaiz.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Guys, wy Kristen, Jeff and I tied.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Shut up, you are losing your eggs.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna your universal clap for you.
- 36:06Speaker 4: That bonus man.
- 36:08Speaker 1: A bonus point saved the day.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Wow, you'll have to share custody of the trophy. Okay, yeah,
- 36:18Speaker 2: good news.
- 36:18Speaker 3: That the trophy is not here. Although I will say Adam,
- 36:23Speaker 3: I think his son our friend of the show, Adam.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I always say his last name wrong because I want
- 36:29Speaker 3: to say, but it's Beacham. It's spelled Beauchamp. His son
- 36:35Speaker 3: made something at this like toy thing the other day
- 36:38Speaker 3: that was like a bunch of like toys piled together,
- 36:41Speaker 3: but then they scrayed a gold so it was like
- 36:42Speaker 3: this fucking sick award. I'm honestly thinking that maybe there
- 36:47Speaker 3: should be like a season award, and the first one
- 36:49Speaker 3: for this show should be all like nine of my
- 36:53Speaker 3: tiny McDonald's things stacked and sprayed gold. I'm just thinking
- 36:58Speaker 3: outside the box.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Anyway, you want to go to the girls quiz, just
- 37:03Speaker 2: a gold McDonald's.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Just some golden sand which you didn't eat, and I'll
- 37:08Speaker 1: give you my address.
- 37:09Speaker 2: There you go okay, trivial mister Paul Dooley played Isaac Newton.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I thought he was dead. I'm so sorry he was
- 37:19Speaker 1: in Is.
- 37:20Speaker 3: He not dead?
- 37:21Speaker 4: No? I think he's still alive. He's everything I didn't
- 37:25Speaker 4: look sorry, Paul.
- 37:28Speaker 2: He was in sixteen Candles. He was wimpy and pop
- 37:31Speaker 2: u uh No, it looks like he's alive ninety seven
- 37:35Speaker 2: years old.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Wow, holy shit.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Good for you, Paul.
- 37:39Speaker 1: He's been in a lot of the Christopher Gas mockumentaries.
- 37:43Speaker 4: He's been on TV shows, Gray's Anatomy, Seventh and all
- 37:47Speaker 4: that stuff.
- 37:48Speaker 3: He shouldn't make all. He was good on Seventh Heaven,
- 37:50Speaker 3: a show that it's hard to watch now, but anyway, Yeah, but.
- 37:55Speaker 4: A lot of good actors.
- 37:57Speaker 3: I used to message with Creepo. We used to talk
- 38:02Speaker 3: on Twitter all the time. He did these like grammar
- 38:05Speaker 3: quizzes and I always won, and so he would always
- 38:08Speaker 3: like DM me and be like, hey, good job, you
- 38:10Speaker 3: got that right, and we talk now.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I'm like, Aaron, how old were you at the time?
- 38:16Speaker 3: Anyway?
- 38:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it was.
- 38:18Speaker 3: When Seventh Heaven was on, so like twelve, pretty close
- 38:22Speaker 3: to eighteen.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Who like?
- 38:25Speaker 3: It came on when I was in high school, so
- 38:27Speaker 3: it was.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You were a little old him.
- 38:30Speaker 3: I was a little old for him. Okay, yeah, there's
- 38:32Speaker 3: grass on the field, so it wasn't. Wow, we're gonna
- 38:37Speaker 3: get sued now by that guy.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I don't think that's an option for him. I think
- 38:43Speaker 1: he's done.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I don't think so. Yeah. Yeah, there is an interesting
- 38:47Speaker 3: documentary about him. By the way, sorry, before the trivia,
- 38:50Speaker 3: there is a there's a documentary about like the gross
- 38:53Speaker 3: side of Hollywood, and it's weird to hear all of
- 38:56Speaker 3: the like male and female co stars that are like
- 38:58Speaker 3: just devastated they did not know the gross man that
- 39:02Speaker 3: like they saw this other side, like it took a
- 39:05Speaker 3: toll on them. Anyway, check it out.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's on I mean, Bill Cosby, anyone, come.
- 39:09Speaker 3: On, I don't I don't need pudding pops anymore.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Gina, what else?
- 39:15Speaker 2: What other trivia do you have for Colin Drake? Was
- 39:18Speaker 2: Wilfred Whitney Cheswick, the old man Sophia was trying to
- 39:23Speaker 2: he was off.
- 39:25Speaker 3: He's definitely dead. No, he's done.
- 39:28Speaker 2: He died in twenty eleven. He was in little House
- 39:31Speaker 2: on the Prairie and mister Hawkins Senator or whatever that was.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I wrote that down a while ago. Blanche will wear
- 39:38Speaker 2: the same red outfit on a later episode. Grab that
- 39:42Speaker 2: dough so we could see the weird grape skin again.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Hears she wore to the forty fourth Golden Globes the
- 39:52Speaker 2: greenish bow tie one.
- 39:55Speaker 3: I love that absolutely not nor that fashion.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Also, it's the key chain. I got the mystery pouch one.
- 40:03Speaker 2: That's the outfit they have Dorothy in cool. I'll let
- 40:06Speaker 2: the grab it here. Oh is it really yes, hair,
- 40:10Speaker 2: I'll grab it. Hold on, it's right here.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Okay, let's talk about this, Aaron. What will it take
- 40:15Speaker 1: to get you in a shiny teal suit a tuxedo dress?
- 40:21Speaker 3: Can I substitute no? Hold on? Hold on?
- 40:27Speaker 2: It looks blue?
- 40:29Speaker 4: Oh yeah, but.
- 40:31Speaker 2: It's got the bow tie.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, here's how you get me in that outfit? Yes,
- 40:36Speaker 3: you let me substitute the Prairie Home companion skirt for
- 40:41Speaker 3: a pair of black leggings, and I will wear that
- 40:43Speaker 3: oversized jacket with a bow tie. I'll even wears.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Unless there's another outfit. This is like blue with darker blue,
- 40:50Speaker 2: and hers was clearly more green.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Well, it was probably hard because that was like crushed
- 40:56Speaker 3: velvet spots on there too, so they probably went darker
- 41:00Speaker 3: to like emphasize that in plastic. I'm guessing but that
- 41:03Speaker 3: is it is atrocious. But I'll tell you what if
- 41:05Speaker 3: you find that in my size or as Sarah's Parker
- 41:09Speaker 3: and First Wives Club says, I will I will wear that,
- 41:15Speaker 3: but I'm gonna wear it with black leggings and like
- 41:17Speaker 3: cute chunky heels.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Look, I'll take that deal because first and foremost you
- 41:22Speaker 1: would have to wear it on the podcast, and no
- 41:23Speaker 1: one's going to see your pants. Uh, So I'm gonna
- 41:26Speaker 1: I'll start shopping as since this episode, so we'll see.
- 41:29Speaker 3: If it's out there, all right, Okay.
- 41:31Speaker 4: In Blanche's dress, I know the stripes in the front
- 41:36Speaker 4: are kind of weird. I love that color though. That
- 41:40Speaker 4: dress was gorgeous.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if it was a dress she
- 41:43Speaker 2: had pants on, didn't she or topper?
- 41:47Speaker 1: Yes, I think you're right. I think she had pants
- 41:49Speaker 1: on paints.
- 41:51Speaker 2: But yeah, the outfits were very eighties.
- 41:54Speaker 1: And Rose looked very pretty too.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Come on, she was in pink. Pretty in pink?
- 41:59Speaker 1: She sure was.
- 42:00Speaker 4: So.
- 42:01Speaker 2: They referenced a couple things during the episode, the Dance
- 42:04Speaker 2: of the Seven Veils. Are you guys familiar with that? Yes,
- 42:09Speaker 2: It's a famous scene in Oscar Wilde's play Salem Ali Salame. Oh,
- 42:15Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Richard Strauss's opera of the same name. It's
- 42:20Speaker 2: about the young princess who dances for her stepfather, King Herod,
- 42:24Speaker 2: and the dance involves gradually revealing the seven.
- 42:28Speaker 5: Veils, so it's like a sexy dance.
- 42:31Speaker 2: And then oh, go ahead.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Oh, I wanted to make sure you were down. This
- 42:36Speaker 3: is a little bit of the algorithm for our guests,
- 42:39Speaker 3: because we just talked about Sunset Boulevard on Sydestic articles
- 42:44Speaker 3: a couple weeks back, and I was telling them they
- 42:46Speaker 3: had to absolutely watch it. Norma Desmond's character is writing
- 42:51Speaker 3: a script for Salome that is an entirely silent version
- 42:56Speaker 3: of it. And there's a song in the musical and
- 42:58Speaker 3: there's a scene in the movie, and both deal with
- 43:01Speaker 3: the dance of the Seven Veils. In fact, she sings
- 43:04Speaker 3: it sort of like dances are tons of the seven
- 43:07Speaker 3: It's like this crazy like anyway, so this this, this
- 43:11Speaker 3: is the algorithm.
- 43:12Speaker 1: You didn't know about that when you were on the show,
- 43:15Speaker 1: Like you hadn't already watched this episode of Golden Girls.
- 43:19Speaker 3: No, I have not watched it yet. I like to
- 43:20Speaker 3: do that is seven minutes. Let's see it in the past.
- 43:24Speaker 3: But I like to write the quiz seven minutes before
- 43:26Speaker 3: the guests arrives. That's my goal.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I understand get that life's busy. Do what you gotta do.
- 43:31Speaker 2: The other trivia, Betty White said she wanted to stand
- 43:35Speaker 2: Hands Across America next to Burt Parks, he hosted Miss America.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Oh, the name sounded familiar. I did not take the
- 43:44Speaker 1: time to look him up. But okay, can you tell
- 43:47Speaker 1: us anything about Hands across America? It's time to go.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Didn't write anything down, but I know that was a
- 43:51Speaker 2: thing where everyone joined hands in the eighties.
- 43:54Speaker 1: You guys are so young, you can you.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Tell us that. I don't remember why.
- 43:57Speaker 1: They I mean, I remember I did not participate on fortunately,
- 44:00Speaker 1: but I remember it was all over the news. The
- 44:02Speaker 1: whole point was to make one line across the entire
- 44:05Speaker 1: country of people holding hands. Traffic be damned, mountains be damned.
- 44:10Speaker 1: But what was the point to raise a fairness for
- 44:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, starving children in Africa? I don't know.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Let's find out.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Oh, hunger and homelessness. Okay, but it raised fifteen million.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Yeah, and maybe we should try it again, because those
- 44:27Speaker 3: things are still problems in nineteen eighties.
- 44:29Speaker 2: I'll stand in the middle of the ocean.
- 44:31Speaker 3: All right, I'm ready, everyone come to me. My arms
- 44:34Speaker 3: are out on it. My address is just kidding.
- 44:37Speaker 2: So that's all the trivia I have. So now we
- 44:40Speaker 2: got to go over your villain.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Well, obviously Blanche is a total bitch. And
- 44:46Speaker 3: she wrote the letters to Rose because she did jerk
- 44:51Speaker 3: head and wanted to hurt her friend.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Sure, kid, she didn't also tried them. I came from
- 44:58Speaker 4: I also tried. It came from a good place. She
- 45:01Speaker 4: wasn't trying to be a jerky right, Sure, Rose feel better.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Sure, But then here's the real problem with that philosophy.
- 45:10Speaker 3: She basically tries to steal the date. She pawned off
- 45:14Speaker 3: on Dorothy in the bathroom, and she's like, I'm gonna
- 45:18Speaker 3: go get drunk and get handsy with my date, herman
- 45:21Speaker 3: or whatever the fuck. She goes that's Howard and she's like,
- 45:24Speaker 3: that's my date. So Blanche is just self centered. Yeah,
- 45:29Speaker 3: like whatever, it's fine, I'm gonna fuck in later.
- 45:31Speaker 2: And she was willing to give Rose one of her
- 45:34Speaker 2: discards rejects. Yeah, she's like you can have a man
- 45:38Speaker 2: I don't care about.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Yeah, in a now defunct car called the Riviera, the
- 45:42Speaker 3: Buick Riviera. I don't think they make that anymore, mister Schuster. Yes,
- 45:48Speaker 3: thank you so much for making it.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Was nice to finally be on you guys are on
- 45:54Speaker 1: like episode three hundred, I think so. I'm glad just
- 45:58Speaker 1: about ye finally got her got it together.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Or just today's thirty five. But you know, ten times
- 46:07Speaker 3: you're so hurt because we have such a close friendship
- 46:10Speaker 3: that it feels ten times longer than it has been.
- 46:12Speaker 3: That's what you met.
- 46:13Speaker 1: It is correct.
- 46:14Speaker 2: Please come back and visit us belonging.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I would love to come back and tussle
- 46:19Speaker 1: it out over some more hardcore trivia.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 3: So where can they find you and your podcast?
- 46:28Speaker 1: Please? Well, thank you for asking. The most likely place
- 46:31Speaker 1: to find me would be on my podcast, which is
- 46:33Speaker 1: called Suggested Articles, and it can be found anywhere you
- 46:37Speaker 1: get your podcasts. Sometimes Aaron joins us, and we also
- 46:41Speaker 1: have other guests. Sometimes we've had some great authors, including
- 46:44Speaker 1: Aaron Randolph, but also also Lola Faust, author of dinosaur Erotica,
- 46:50Speaker 1: such as Sarah Toops such.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Crush on her and oh such Tirannosaurus sext right source sext.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Yes, so we have fun, you know. Sometimes it's just
- 47:06Speaker 1: me and the other guy named Jeff who spells his
- 47:09Speaker 1: name with one F. But we have guests. We have fun,
- 47:12Speaker 1: and we we worship the algorithm that runs all of
- 47:15Speaker 1: our lives. So please join us, join our church. It's
- 47:18Speaker 1: really the only way to save yourself.
- 47:20Speaker 3: Okay, All hail the algorithm.
- 47:23Speaker 1: All Hail the algorithm.
- 47:25Speaker 3: All right, all right, and miss Kristen, where can they
- 47:29Speaker 3: find us?
- 47:30Speaker 4: You can find us across all podcast platforms. You can

- 47:48Speaker 3: but I need you to eat your cheesecake and get
- 47:52Speaker 3: out here.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Yes, ma'am.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Okay, Abby, that's not very nice. I known, but you
- 48:01Speaker 3: guys are really allowed to day and icy bank.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Sorry, Abby, will be quiet?
- 48:06Speaker 3: All right?
- 48:06Speaker 1: Well, sorry, Abby, I'm loud. I know I'm loud. I'm sorry.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Okay. Bye, mister math teacher.
- 48:14Speaker 2: Shuster, Yes, bye, mister math teacher.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Bye bye everybody,
