Drones Deliver Hope When Bridges Fail | Auckland News
When a family in the Waihopai Valley was stranded after their bridge washed out, they turned to drones—not for snacks, but for survival. This first-of-its-kind mission in New Zealand could reshape emergency logistics, offering a cheaper, more flexible alternative to helicopters—especially as extreme weather becomes more frequent.
