- 0:15Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. This is a bonus episode,
- 0:19Speaker 1: you guys. I've been loving this season of ninety de Fiance,
- 0:22Speaker 1: season twelve. It is so good. This past week was great.
- 0:25Speaker 1: This next week looks to be amazing as well. So
- 0:28Speaker 1: I'm very excited to say I have an interview today
- 0:30Speaker 1: with Paula of Paula and Thomas. Welcome to the show, Paula.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Welcome, Mary Pain. I'm very happy to be here.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Your hair has gotten longer, I think since we've seen
- 0:41Speaker 1: you on the show.
- 0:42Speaker 2: It is. It is a little bit longer, and yeahs
- 0:46Speaker 2: I'd like you to have longer hair, so I'm trying
- 0:49Speaker 2: to keep it longer.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it looks great, well, yeah, I do. It's pretty. Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: it's a good color. It's a good color.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Okay, So I need to know from what we saw
- 1:03Speaker 1: on the show, you met Thomas because you guys were
- 1:06Speaker 1: playing volleyball in like the La Long Beach area. You
- 1:11Speaker 1: were listening, Okay, So.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I was visiting in Mosa Beach.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Okay beach. Yes, So if you were in town visiting
- 1:22Speaker 1: and then you decide to date, how did you find
- 1:25Speaker 1: your way onto ninety eight Beyance? How did you get
- 1:28Speaker 1: on the show.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Because everybody since I started dating him, since I started
- 1:35Speaker 2: to date Thomas, everybody always say, you guys should do
- 1:38Speaker 2: none deficiency, you should do no defense and I in
- 1:41Speaker 2: that time I never heard about because in Brazil, I
- 1:45Speaker 2: was like, I'm very busy working and for TV, like
- 1:52Speaker 2: it's rare now I have, but in that time, I
- 1:56Speaker 2: was very busy growing my business and I was like,
- 2:00Speaker 2: what is this? And then I started doing some research
- 2:04Speaker 2: and I say that was the biggest reality show on
- 2:07Speaker 2: the United States, and I was like, wow, that's huge.
- 2:10Speaker 2: But people say that over and over again, only like
- 2:14Speaker 2: just for me and for him, like as well all
- 2:16Speaker 2: the time, and then we decided to sign up.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Amazing. I mean, I think it's such an interesting story
- 2:24Speaker 1: when people meet very organically, like you had a common
- 2:28Speaker 1: interest playing volleyball on the beach. Yeah, okay, So tell
- 2:32Speaker 1: me about your career in Brazil because you were you
- 2:34Speaker 1: said you were you had a piercing a piercing shop,
- 2:38Speaker 1: So explain all about that please. I'm dying to that.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I created the first piercing branch shop in Brazil. So
- 2:44Speaker 2: it's not just a piercing studio, it's a jury shop.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Like it's more fancy luxury because in Brazil, piercing was
- 2:53Speaker 2: something very niche, like about uh tribes like like Rocker.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yes, dark Key.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And then I saw one opportunity to put my personality
- 3:07Speaker 2: on the business and I create the first brand of
- 3:09Speaker 2: luxury piercing shop. So today we are way more than
- 3:14Speaker 2: a piercing studio. A piercing studio the person goals to
- 3:18Speaker 2: just piercing their body. We are personal piercer, which means
- 3:23Speaker 2: like we do personalize it projects. And I learned all
- 3:27Speaker 2: this because I started working with celebrities in Brazil and
- 3:32Speaker 2: they was very specific and I was like, okay, so
- 3:36Speaker 2: the same way there's a personal stylist, personal shopper, personal trainer,
- 3:42Speaker 2: why not a personal piercer. Then I developed my niche
- 3:47Speaker 2: all around this. It was very hard because in Brazil
- 3:51Speaker 2: everyone was against it is a business that is dominated
- 3:56Speaker 2: was dominated by manure man, you know, and I got
- 4:03Speaker 2: lots of haters, a lot, but I grow very fast.
- 4:07Speaker 2: So in six months, I bought a house, car, I
- 4:12Speaker 2: had money to travel. It was a magical thing that
- 4:16Speaker 2: happens to me. And today our targets it's woman, but
- 4:22Speaker 2: not because they want to pierce their body and they
- 4:25Speaker 2: want to look radical. No, it's only luxury womans that
- 4:29Speaker 2: they want to increase their appearance. They want to have
- 4:32Speaker 2: the only ear is styling. So it's not body piercing,
- 4:36Speaker 2: it's ear. It's styly piercing. And uh, we do projects
- 4:40Speaker 2: that match with the person personalities and healing process. This
- 4:46Speaker 2: never had in the market in all over the world.
- 4:49Speaker 2: So I'm the first one that's doing this. And also
- 4:52Speaker 2: I'm writing a book about this. Yeah, so so will
- 4:56Speaker 2: be Yeah that's cool.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Well, yeah, my Dag has a lot of piercings on
- 5:02Speaker 1: her ears and stuff, and she has something recently that
- 5:05Speaker 1: I also recently saw when I was on a Virgin
- 5:08Speaker 1: cruise and they had like a piercing tattoo studio there
- 5:10Speaker 1: and I saw people coming in and my daughter just
- 5:12Speaker 1: got it under your ears and it's called like fairy
- 5:16Speaker 1: bites or something, and it's three little tiny ones and
- 5:20Speaker 1: like a little star formation, like a little tiny triangle formation,
- 5:24Speaker 1: like tiny tiny It's very cute.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Yes, it is. I created one technique Australian piercings, three
- 5:32Speaker 2: little diamonds on the cardilage right here, so if I
- 5:36Speaker 2: can show.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You, yes, and uh, this three little one here, Yes cute.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I traded market then in Brazil and become viral. So
- 5:46Speaker 2: these guys was responsible like for maybe half of my
- 5:52Speaker 2: career because piercing in that time the symbol of rebel
- 5:57Speaker 2: and being more crazy can And then I came with
- 6:00Speaker 2: something super tiny, feminine and delicate. And this like the
- 6:07Speaker 2: first day that I launched this. In the day after,
- 6:09Speaker 2: I got almost one thousand messages on my what's up.
- 6:14Speaker 2: People was asking like I want to do?
- 6:15Speaker 1: I want to do?
- 6:16Speaker 2: And then all the new piercing era started because I
- 6:20Speaker 2: was like, okay, I have a mission here. I worked
- 6:24Speaker 2: with piercing since two thousand and three, so more than
- 6:27Speaker 2: twenty years a go. Yeah, I failed more than ten
- 6:31Speaker 2: business in Brazil, piercing business, and I insisted every business
- 6:36Speaker 2: I was insisting, and I was like, there's something wrong
- 6:40Speaker 2: and I'm gonna found what, like what can I do?
- 6:44Speaker 2: So I used my knowledge as a like accessory designer
- 6:52Speaker 2: and I combined piercing with with like with a sux
- 6:56Speaker 2: serry sorry my English with a sexer designer. So I
- 7:02Speaker 2: started to create visuals that it was more feminine, more personalized,
- 7:07Speaker 2: more delicate, and because woman wants to get piercing, but
- 7:10Speaker 2: they don't look like younger or crazy, or they don't
- 7:14Speaker 2: want to impose one personality that doesn't match with their work.
- 7:19Speaker 2: They are lawyers, they are doctors, they are woman with kids.
- 7:22Speaker 2: They just want to look pretty and right. Yeah, and
- 7:27Speaker 2: then I created the solution not only piercing, but cleaning,
- 7:31Speaker 2: maintaining and like everything. So it's it's very good, y'all.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but it's been so hot here,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and ninety five degrees outside feels like one hundred and
- 7:45Speaker 1: twenty degrees inside your pants. Am I right? You can
- 7:48Speaker 1: summer prove your intimate areas with the tushy bidet, the
- 7:52Speaker 1: insta bathroom upgrade that keeps you healthy and fresh where
- 7:56Speaker 1: sweat hips the hardest. Y'all, I am so excited to
- 7:59Speaker 1: talk to you about the tishubidet. You don't even know.
- 8:01Speaker 1: As listeners to this show know, we talk about bidets
- 8:04Speaker 1: on our reality shows a lot. So many of our
- 8:07Speaker 1: ninety day fiancees come over to the US and they're
- 8:09Speaker 1: stunned that every home does not have a bidet, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: all the Americans end up getting one and loving it.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I would be willingked to bet that most of them
- 8:17Speaker 1: are getting a Tushue bidet. I just got one. It
- 8:20Speaker 1: was so easy to install. Seriously, it took me ten
- 8:22Speaker 1: minutes and I'm not a handy person. Remember how easy
- 8:25Speaker 1: it was for Rashii to install his new bidet at
- 8:28Speaker 1: Mallory's house. He was so excited about his clean buttthole,
- 8:31Speaker 1: and he wanted her to have a clean buttthole too.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Now that's love. Now, Rasheet's new bidet looked great in
- 8:37Speaker 1: her bathroom, and my new bidet looks great in my bathroom.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I am telling you, if you haven't tried a bidet,
- 8:43Speaker 1: get on board or get on the bidet. It really
- 8:45Speaker 1: does make you feel so clean, and like Gihun from
- 8:48Speaker 1: ninety Day Fiance, your whole family can have a clean anal. Seriously, though,
- 8:53Speaker 1: ninety nine percent of people who washed with Tushey warm
- 8:56Speaker 1: water bidets feel cleaner and fresher after going to the
- 8:58Speaker 1: bathroom Tashi. The EBA days have a heated seat, adjustable
- 9:02Speaker 1: water temperature, and a powerful yet gentle dryer. Tussue bidets
- 9:06Speaker 1: easily attached to your existing toilet without the need for
- 9:09Speaker 1: additional plumbing, and the EBA Days only require an outlet,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and people who have made the switch to Tushy use
- 9:16Speaker 1: up to eighty percent less toilet paper, no more clogged toilets,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and that is a big problem in my house. Not
- 9:23Speaker 1: naming names, but there's no more wasting money on something
- 9:25Speaker 1: that does an inferior job of cleaning your tushie. Every
- 9:30Speaker 1: Hello Tushy bidet comes with a thirty day hassle free
- 9:33Speaker 1: return and a twelve month warranty. You literally have nothing
- 9:36Speaker 1: to lose, so stay fresh and healthy where the AC
- 9:39Speaker 1: can't reach. For a limited time, our listeners get ten
- 9:43Speaker 1: percent off their first bdet order when you use code
- 9:46Speaker 1: pink shade at checkout. That's ten percent off your first
- 9:49Speaker 1: bidet order at Hello Tushy t u Shy hellotushy dot
- 9:55Speaker 1: com with the promo code pink shade for ten percent
- 9:58Speaker 1: off and let me know how you like. Well, okay,
- 10:03Speaker 1: so you have this very successful business over there and
- 10:06Speaker 1: you decide to move to the United States. Now, what's
- 10:09Speaker 1: that been like? So I assume you're still running this business,
- 10:12Speaker 1: but you're with Thomas in the United States, Like, that
- 10:15Speaker 1: must have been a very hard decision.
- 10:16Speaker 2: It was a very hard decision. But I'm very ambitious
- 10:20Speaker 2: in a good way. I am actually opening my second
- 10:25Speaker 2: business in Brazil, and I'm looking for business partners to
- 10:30Speaker 2: open my franchise model. I had this vision and I'm
- 10:35Speaker 2: gonna do the same in the United States because I
- 10:39Speaker 2: think in my business, my business model helps women. They
- 10:43Speaker 2: do doctor appointments, they need, they do like like events
- 10:50Speaker 2: like wedding and all social things. Then they need a
- 10:54Speaker 2: personal percy like it is more than styling once in
- 10:58Speaker 2: a while, they need the like could they go to
- 11:00Speaker 2: the hairstylist or nil or nail designer. So I think
- 11:05Speaker 2: I will help lots of women.
- 11:08Speaker 1: That's that's cool. So are you trying to open that
- 11:11Speaker 1: there in California?
- 11:13Speaker 2: I yes, I am, Yes, I love that.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I don't think it'll be very successful. Okay, now tell
- 11:19Speaker 1: me about the miniatures, because this has gotten a lot
- 11:23Speaker 1: of attention, and with Thomas's sort of super minimalistic style,
- 11:28Speaker 1: and then you're coming in with all your little miniatures,
- 11:31Speaker 1: which I'd say is like maximalistic. I just said he
- 11:34Speaker 1: should give you just one little corner shelving unit and
- 11:37Speaker 1: you could put all your things in there and then
- 11:40Speaker 1: all your stuff contained. So are you do you have
- 11:43Speaker 1: your miniatures in the States, Because I really I want
- 11:45Speaker 1: that for you, because I love the little minish my unaitures.
- 11:50Speaker 2: They are more than just cute things. They are tools
- 11:53Speaker 2: for manifestation. Yes, well, everyone that I had like one another.
- 11:59Speaker 2: It's like only for decorations, but most of them, I
- 12:02Speaker 2: use it for a tool that helps me to manifest
- 12:07Speaker 2: my reality. And they really works. They really work. And
- 12:11Speaker 2: uh Thomas, uh, he doesn't want it because he thought
- 12:15Speaker 2: that was silly. And it was very hard for me
- 12:18Speaker 2: to collect them in the United States because the house
- 12:21Speaker 2: was so empty that I don't have any place to
- 12:25Speaker 2: put them. So yes, because I need to see them
- 12:29Speaker 2: every day and I need to to interact with them,
- 12:34Speaker 2: and I and like there was all in a box
- 12:37Speaker 2: and it was kind of messing with my process because
- 12:40Speaker 2: I need to to see them. So I have one
- 12:43Speaker 2: here like right now.
- 12:44Speaker 1: That's it. It's a little teacup.
- 12:48Speaker 2: It is just for us talking right now. So I
- 12:52Speaker 2: am manifesting a very good talk and uh that I
- 12:57Speaker 2: can express myself good because you know, English is not
- 13:01Speaker 2: my first language. So this is like a way that
- 13:05Speaker 2: I'm manifesting a good conversation and people understand me and
- 13:10Speaker 2: my point.
- 13:11Speaker 1: But that to me means that you're gonna spell the tea.
- 13:14Speaker 1: That's what that means to me. You're gonna spell the tea.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You're gonna tell me everything.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, yes, maybe I can do it. I can
- 13:22Speaker 2: just throw out yeah, so cute. So Thomas doesn't he
- 13:30Speaker 2: doesn't accept too well because he thought that was silly.
- 13:34Speaker 2: But it is effect.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I think it is effective. I'll tell you that. My
- 13:39Speaker 1: listeners know. For years I said I always wanted to
- 13:44Speaker 1: have a beach house because we live here in Virginia
- 13:47Speaker 1: and there's no beach nearby, but we go to a
- 13:49Speaker 1: certain beach in North Carolina that I loved, loved it
- 13:52Speaker 1: for twenty years. So about maybe five years ago, instead
- 13:57Speaker 1: of saying I hope one day I have a beach house,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I started saying I will have a beach house. And
- 14:03Speaker 1: when I have my beach house, and guess what, last
- 14:07Speaker 1: year we got a beach house. You have to really
- 14:10Speaker 1: think about it, you have to really in my mind,
- 14:13Speaker 1: it really works. You just have to really put your
- 14:15Speaker 1: mind to it.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:16Speaker 1: It's not just because it came to me and somebody.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Gave it to me. I mean, we bought it manifested, but.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I manifested like I know it's going to happen for
- 14:23Speaker 1: me and I just have to talk it into existence.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yes, that's exactly the process that I do. I am
- 14:30Speaker 2: manifesting so many things at the same time that the miniatures,
- 14:34Speaker 2: and not only the miniatures. I have cell phone live
- 14:40Speaker 2: screen protection with my vision board, and I have my
- 14:46Speaker 2: manifesting routine that I do every day. So it really
- 14:51Speaker 2: works and fast, really fest So for you have an idea,
- 14:55Speaker 2: there was a celebrity in Brazil and I started to
- 14:58Speaker 2: think about her manifest and do her ear styling. One
- 15:03Speaker 2: week after she messaged me.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Oh wow, that's cool. Now would we know who that is?
- 15:10Speaker 2: It's a TV singer. She's called Pablo Guitar. Okay, okay,
- 15:17Speaker 2: And does she message me and say, hey, I want
- 15:20Speaker 2: to do my ear styling because I saw your your
- 15:23Speaker 2: Instagram it's very beautiful. One week after see it is
- 15:29Speaker 2: very fast. Okay.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I have a question. Can you get Thomas like a
- 15:35Speaker 1: tiny perfume bottle and tell him you're manifesting him, not
- 15:39Speaker 1: to pretend he's allergic to perfume.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Actually, I bought miniature of perfume. I bought well like
- 15:50Speaker 2: last year and filming. I was trying because perfume for
- 15:56Speaker 2: me is something so important. I love perfume, Like in
- 16:01Speaker 2: my apartment, I have dozens of and the fact that
- 16:06Speaker 2: Thomas attacked my habits so bad, and I was trying
- 16:11Speaker 2: to found every solution that I could. So I bought
- 16:14Speaker 2: a tiny perfume miniature and I put it on the
- 16:18Speaker 2: like on the restroom. So I put the training me
- 16:22Speaker 2: and him to see a tiny bottle and get used
- 16:25Speaker 2: it to like I could bring you one real one.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Okay, has he found something that he can tolerate that
- 16:32Speaker 1: you also like.
- 16:34Speaker 2: He tolerates some things that is not chemistry, So even
- 16:39Speaker 2: for cleaning products are perfume or anything needs to be
- 16:44Speaker 2: natural vegan, no chemistry, supernatural, which just makes sense. My
- 16:50Speaker 2: brother have the same issue.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Okay.
- 16:53Speaker 2: When we was filming, my brother was super sick because
- 16:57Speaker 2: of the carpet. Oh, he was so sick because he
- 17:02Speaker 2: was no voice, and there was wondering to rent one
- 17:07Speaker 2: like hotel or something. But I wanted to be with
- 17:10Speaker 2: my like my family together, and I said, please don't
- 17:13Speaker 2: go and stay here. He was dying, but he was
- 17:15Speaker 2: in the apartment because of me, my brother. So I
- 17:19Speaker 2: kind of understand Thomas, but he's not open. He was
- 17:23Speaker 2: not open to looking for solutions because my brother is
- 17:27Speaker 2: also super allergic. But we can live with him.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like he's not.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Dictator and period No, and he's a dictator. He is
- 17:43Speaker 2: like no, no conversation, period.
- 17:47Speaker 1: He's very dramatic. He's very dramatic about the perfume.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Super super He's dramatic about everything.
- 17:55Speaker 1: He's what is he? Somebody told me he is a
- 18:00Speaker 1: aerospace engineer. What is his career?
- 18:03Speaker 2: He's an aerospace engineer and he works with computers, so
- 18:08Speaker 2: he's a like engineer for computer and he builds projects
- 18:13Speaker 2: for biggie companies. He's a super smart guy. And uh,
- 18:17Speaker 2: he lives in another world that it's hard to access.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And sometimes I ask him myself, Hi, I I accessed
- 18:27Speaker 2: him because before me, he only had one girlfriend. He
- 18:32Speaker 2: never introduced any girl to his family, he never lived
- 18:36Speaker 2: with someone, he never nothing. So me, in a certain way,
- 18:42Speaker 2: I could. I had access to a very weird person,
- 18:47Speaker 2: which makes which makes me worry because we attracted who
- 18:53Speaker 2: who we are are are are things that we need
- 18:58Speaker 2: to feel ourselves of. It is then that makes made
- 19:02Speaker 2: me think a lot like what the universe is trying
- 19:06Speaker 2: to tell me with this relationship.
- 19:08Speaker 1: With very opposite you're very opposite.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Complimentary, in a in a in a seeking way.
- 19:17Speaker 1: You commentary, Yes, that's nicer. Yes, the world wants to know.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The world wants to know if you've gotten a dresser
- 19:25Speaker 1: or if your underwear isn't bend in the closet.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I got a dresser the other space, which is bigger,
- 19:34Speaker 2: and I could put all my clothes. But it's it's
- 19:37Speaker 2: so little comparing with the one that I have in Brazil.
- 19:42Speaker 2: But it was a beginning. So I got a bigger
- 19:45Speaker 2: dresser and I could see all my stuff, very organized it.
- 19:49Speaker 2: I am very methodic, so I need to see my
- 19:54Speaker 2: clothes and everything. And it was very good. It was
- 19:57Speaker 2: a piece of of of peace. Yes, my mind was
- 20:05Speaker 2: freaking so much watching the show back, I feel so
- 20:10Speaker 2: bad for myself because I was so vulnerable. I was neil.
- 20:16Speaker 2: My English wasn't that good? Not this is amazing today,
- 20:20Speaker 2: but it's better. And I was so patient. I was like,
- 20:24Speaker 2: why am I so patient? Am I giving so much?
- 20:29Speaker 2: I was trying to be evolved being and trying to
- 20:33Speaker 2: do not lower my highest my voice. I was trying
- 20:38Speaker 2: to be a person, you know, very calm. But with
- 20:45Speaker 2: some people we find a way of communication, and that
- 20:50Speaker 2: is not with Thomas at all. You don't respect as
- 20:54Speaker 2: much as I try to becolm and evolve and very
- 20:58Speaker 2: amazing and simpl he sit over me.
- 21:02Speaker 1: So it's crazy because his point was, well, when you
- 21:07Speaker 1: go on vacation, you can live out of a suitcase,
- 21:10Speaker 1: but you're not on vacate, you've moved there. So since
- 21:12Speaker 1: you've moved there, I think that your point was so
- 21:16Speaker 1: valid and could go for anybody on this show, which
- 21:19Speaker 1: is I just expect what I had at my house.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I'm not expecting more. Just what I had at my
- 21:25Speaker 1: house was a closet, dresser and a couch, So I
- 21:29Speaker 1: need these things at my new house. I'm not expecting more.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I just need to say yeah, yeah.
- 21:33Speaker 2: But was a surprise for me because lots of shades
- 21:38Speaker 2: of his personality I never knew because we was dating
- 21:44Speaker 2: long distance for so many years and it doesn't knew
- 21:47Speaker 2: these shades. And then when I saw, I was in shock,
- 21:52Speaker 2: and I ended off all their relationship, like with other boyfriends,
- 21:57Speaker 2: in a very dramatic way, because as I start to
- 22:00Speaker 2: be crazy and like yelling, you know, and I try
- 22:04Speaker 2: to be as much peaceful as I could. But it
- 22:09Speaker 2: was really hard because he tested me in all way possible.
- 22:14Speaker 2: And it is not because I saw some people say
- 22:17Speaker 2: online like oh she have money, she is lying because
- 22:21Speaker 2: she is not poor. It is not because of that,
- 22:24Speaker 2: because when you move to a place and you have
- 22:26Speaker 2: someone else, you need to do together. Yes, so I
- 22:31Speaker 2: think it is not worth I bring my money from Brazil,
- 22:34Speaker 2: which is very little. If I convert my current money
- 22:37Speaker 2: to us, it's it is nothing and all my money
- 22:41Speaker 2: right now, I am using to invest and grow my business.
- 22:44Speaker 2: So I just bought a new room.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Very big.
- 22:49Speaker 2: We are building. It is very expensive because it's like
- 22:52Speaker 2: it is luxury and I don't have money.
- 22:55Speaker 1: To like an address addresser is not very by the way,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you can get a cute dresser for not much.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, before we start to date, he had some good
- 23:11Speaker 2: plans like oh uh, we're gonna leave, You're gonna build
- 23:17Speaker 2: it our life with me, You're gonna do everything beautiful,
- 23:20Speaker 2: blah blah blah. And then when I went to the US,
- 23:24Speaker 2: there was nothing, and I was patient with nothing, but
- 23:28Speaker 2: it was like when what is next?
- 23:32Speaker 1: Patient about two days with nowhere to put my clothes? Okay,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but I have a question about that apartment. So we
- 23:39Speaker 1: all agree that the table is ridiculous and you need it.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It's not hard also to buy. You could get all
- 23:44Speaker 1: these things at Target or Costco. But if the money
- 23:47Speaker 1: is the issue. But is this apartment one bedroom and
- 23:50Speaker 1: he has a bed in the bedroom and a bed
- 23:52Speaker 1: in the living room.
- 23:54Speaker 2: No, his apartment is two bedrooms. So there's a bedroom
- 24:00Speaker 2: and it's actually it's a bedroom, and then there's a
- 24:04Speaker 2: living room that he turns into another bedroom because he
- 24:08Speaker 2: has a he had a bed. Then he turns into
- 24:13Speaker 2: a couch.
- 24:14Speaker 1: No, it's a bed. There's a difference. You need a couch.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It's so funny on this season too with Katie and Josh,
- 24:21Speaker 1: and it's it's similar. But all he's asking for is
- 24:24Speaker 1: a place to sit, and she's like, we can sit
- 24:27Speaker 1: on the floor. He's like, my back hurts. We're in
- 24:29Speaker 1: a twin bed. All I'm asking for is a couch.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And every time we see Josh and he's in that
- 24:35Speaker 1: one office chair where like he has one chair, and
- 24:39Speaker 1: I was like, it's like, Paula, all she wants is
- 24:41Speaker 1: a couch. And I love how You're like, here's the
- 24:43Speaker 1: tiny couch. We're manifesting it, we're looking at it. We're
- 24:46Speaker 1: going to get a couch. So I hope as the
- 24:48Speaker 1: season goes, you get to decorate this apartment and get
- 24:52Speaker 1: a couch, yes, instead of a bed.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I try my best to show in a very polite
- 25:00Speaker 2: to it the thing that I wanted. But Thomas, he
- 25:05Speaker 2: has a very straight mind. I kind of understand why
- 25:10Speaker 2: his parents got divorce, his dad and his that mom
- 25:15Speaker 2: lives in a trailer, like on a trailer so the
- 25:19Speaker 2: way because I like to think to see things from
- 25:22Speaker 2: behind the way that he do with his life. He
- 25:26Speaker 2: doesn't want to have anything because it's easy to move on.
- 25:32Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 25:33Speaker 2: He doesn't want to attach. And it's weird because I
- 25:37Speaker 2: told him many times say, hey, I can't live in
- 25:41Speaker 2: a place that I that I don't feel good. I
- 25:45Speaker 2: can't my apartment. It's it is beautiful, and I want
- 25:49Speaker 2: to the same place that I feel comfortable that I
- 25:51Speaker 2: look at it like oh my place, and I like it,
- 25:54Speaker 2: and I don't feel happy here. I try it, I
- 25:58Speaker 2: really try.
- 25:59Speaker 1: That's very interesting because we do see a couple of
- 26:02Speaker 1: weeks ago we saw with his dad and his stepmom,
- 26:05Speaker 1: and then I know on a coming episode. We've seen
- 26:08Speaker 1: some previews where you're going to be talking to his stepmom,
- 26:12Speaker 1: and I think that thing that was very interesting how
- 26:15Speaker 1: the stepmom, you know, with editing and production, it comes
- 26:19Speaker 1: across like she's really harsh, but I think it seems
- 26:23Speaker 1: that she was really hurt because she was so close
- 26:26Speaker 1: to Thomas. And then he's going back to his biological mom,
- 26:30Speaker 1: who seems, for all intents and purposes, left him as
- 26:32Speaker 1: a child, which is shocking and now but you can't
- 26:36Speaker 1: blame him for, as an adult trying to make a
- 26:38Speaker 1: connection with her. But you can also see the side
- 26:41Speaker 1: of the stepmother who's very hurt. So is that that's
- 26:45Speaker 1: going to play out with how she was mad at
- 26:47Speaker 1: you and she explains to you, did you know this
- 26:51Speaker 1: situation with his mother and his stepmother? Did you know
- 26:53Speaker 1: how deep it was?
- 26:56Speaker 2: It doesn't knew because he spoke very little about his
- 27:01Speaker 2: parents and his family at all. And the first two
- 27:05Speaker 2: years that I was dating him, I thought that he
- 27:08Speaker 2: was a skin because I knew nobody from his side,
- 27:12Speaker 2: and I was like, I need to see something. And
- 27:15Speaker 2: then he introduced me his auntie and then his sister,
- 27:19Speaker 2: and then I started to trust. But it was very
- 27:22Speaker 2: weird and the relationship that he has with his stepmom
- 27:29Speaker 2: answered many things about his personality today that builds him. Yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 2: which is I like about personal self like evolving. It's
- 27:42Speaker 2: because you can go back there and fix things as
- 27:46Speaker 2: a mature person and grew up in your life. Because life,
- 27:50Speaker 2: it is not being victim of a situation. His parents
- 27:53Speaker 2: got the fought on the court for thirty five times
- 27:58Speaker 2: when he was a kid.
- 28:00Speaker 1: That's a lot for a kid.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but that don't but that. I try to tell
- 28:06Speaker 2: him that that doesn't define him. So he should use
- 28:11Speaker 2: that to grow and be very voted and maybe inspire
- 28:15Speaker 2: other young guys, you know. But he he wants to
- 28:20Speaker 2: be in a state that he's a victim, that he
- 28:24Speaker 2: doesn't want any because it's better. He want a very
- 28:28Speaker 2: empty place because if if he loses his job, it
- 28:32Speaker 2: is easy to move on. So he also he always
- 28:36Speaker 2: manifests in bad things. If I lose my job, if
- 28:39Speaker 2: I don't need where to go, if I blah blah blah,
- 28:42Speaker 2: and I am the positive, I am manifesting more like
- 28:46Speaker 2: one more place in Brazil, yes, in the West, one
- 28:51Speaker 2: place in Europe. I am always you know, working, And
- 28:55Speaker 2: he's thinking about the worst.
- 28:57Speaker 1: That bothers me a lot see like you could really
- 29:00Speaker 1: help him though, because he's coming from a negative face
- 29:04Speaker 1: and he's coming from childhood trauma of I don't want
- 29:07Speaker 1: to have a lot of things in case I have
- 29:09Speaker 1: to move quickly, and you're coming from a pace of like, no,
- 29:12Speaker 1: let's settle and let's manifest that everything will continue to
- 29:16Speaker 1: go well, and you won't. You will keep your job,
- 29:19Speaker 1: you will get a better job, You'll continue to go up.
- 29:21Speaker 1: And I that's very interesting. And I think the dynamic
- 29:25Speaker 1: with his stepmom and his dad and what we're going
- 29:28Speaker 1: to see about her explaining to you about the mother
- 29:31Speaker 1: is fascinating. It's very sad to think that that happened
- 29:35Speaker 1: to him, But like you said, now they're adults and
- 29:37Speaker 1: maybe he can on his little part, he can fix it.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That's you guys are so it's so interesting how opposite
- 29:46Speaker 1: you are. But I like how you said, but you
- 29:48Speaker 1: can also be complementary and help each other.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I help more than he helped me.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I think.
- 29:57Speaker 2: So that's trying to be nice, yes, And the thing
- 30:02Speaker 2: is between his parents, It is very hard, especially with
- 30:06Speaker 2: his mom. He tried to connect it to his mom
- 30:08Speaker 2: all during the filming for She Yeah, up, and filming,
- 30:13Speaker 2: and she never wanted. That makes him very upset. He doesn't.
- 30:17Speaker 2: They don't talk like for a while.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Because and it's hard to just sort of like live
- 30:24Speaker 1: in the moment of like let me be grateful for
- 30:27Speaker 1: just my father and my stepmother and let that part
- 30:30Speaker 1: of my life go. It's hard, I think, especially if
- 30:32Speaker 1: that's your if you're your parent. Yeah, it's that's rough.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Now tell me about your family in Brazil.
- 30:39Speaker 2: My family is super especial. We are very attached. Of course,
- 30:43Speaker 2: we have problems, of course, but we are here to evolve.
- 30:47Speaker 2: So I came to from a very poor family. We
- 30:53Speaker 2: live it in a very poor place in Brazil. I
- 30:56Speaker 2: had nothing besides my brain to think and in my
- 31:00Speaker 2: in my future. And my mom she also had a
- 31:03Speaker 2: vision for me and my siblings, and she even when
- 31:06Speaker 2: we was kids kids, she always put us to do
- 31:11Speaker 2: things school. So we did the swimming classes, which in
- 31:15Speaker 2: that time for for like those kids was something very huge.
- 31:20Speaker 2: But she was always and and she put us in
- 31:23Speaker 2: a computer classes and uh so she was helping us
- 31:26Speaker 2: to evolve as a as a person. And uh and
- 31:31Speaker 2: my siblings we are winners in all uh like aspectus
- 31:36Speaker 2: of life. We we we are doing our best. So
- 31:41Speaker 2: like we have our businesses. Uh, our goals are I
- 31:46Speaker 2: don't know how in English, but we are very good.
- 31:49Speaker 2: And uh we came from nothing, so that that that
- 31:54Speaker 2: makes me feel very resilient because when I hear people say, oh,
- 31:58Speaker 2: I have nothing, I'm poor, blah blah blah. I came
- 32:02Speaker 2: from nothing and I build everything, so I do some people.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I need to have more patient with people when they
- 32:09Speaker 2: say that they are in a very sensitive way. That's
- 32:13Speaker 2: why Universe send me Thomas to give me the opportunity
- 32:20Speaker 2: of me work with my patient really yeah, yes, and
- 32:25Speaker 2: my empathy for sure.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Well, I think that you are so interesting and so
- 32:31Speaker 1: inspirational and I'm really like looking forward to seeing how
- 32:34Speaker 1: this all plays out on the show. But tell everybody
- 32:36Speaker 1: that's listening how they can find out about your business
- 32:39Speaker 1: and where to follow you, because it sounds fascinating your business.
- 32:42Speaker 1: So tell everybody where we can follow you and find
- 32:44Speaker 1: out about your business.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Sure, my Instagram is open. I'm trying to make content
- 32:50Speaker 2: in English and in Portuguese.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Okay, it is a mix.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And also my TikTok they both are just Paulina nick
- 33:00Speaker 2: name me in Portuguese, which means little Paula, so it
- 33:05Speaker 2: is very hard to spell in English, so people call
- 33:07Speaker 2: me in Brazil Paulina, but it's just Paulina and uh.
- 33:14Speaker 2: You can also found me on my jurist studio called
- 33:20Speaker 2: Piercing Joya and uh I'll be in the US and
- 33:26Speaker 2: uh I'll be doing uh very beautiful ear stylist like
- 33:33Speaker 2: not me. I want to training people. I want to
- 33:35Speaker 2: develop my business, so I want to just be the
- 33:38Speaker 2: Peerson business owner and I want to training people. Tell
- 33:42Speaker 2: me that I do, like with my employees in Brazil.
- 33:45Speaker 2: So that's what I do, and I also want I am.
- 33:48Speaker 2: I am kind of receiving some message from people and
- 33:53Speaker 2: they say that I inspire them and they want to
- 33:56Speaker 2: learn more about manifestation and everything. I never thinking about
- 34:02Speaker 2: that in a way that I could teach other people.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But now I am start to study and to put
- 34:08Speaker 2: in words all the methods that I use and worked
- 34:13Speaker 2: with me. Yes, and how you teach other people.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Soon you should show it on your TikTok, like you
- 34:19Speaker 1: showed the little teacup. That's an example, and you're saying
- 34:21Speaker 1: that you put the little perfume in the bathroom, so
- 34:24Speaker 1: you see it, and he sees it and it gets
- 34:26Speaker 1: into your I think it's fascinating. I think you should
- 34:29Speaker 1: do that on your TikTok. I think you would get
- 34:31Speaker 1: a lot of people that were interested.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very nice to meet you. And I can't
- 34:37Speaker 1: wait to watch the rest of the season. And I
- 34:39Speaker 1: can't wait to see the tell all and I love
- 34:42Speaker 1: the tell all when everybody gets to meet, and I
- 34:44Speaker 1: think that's always interesting too. I don't want anybody to fight,
- 34:47Speaker 1: but I like to see when everybody gets to have
- 34:49Speaker 1: opinions on other people's stories.
- 34:51Speaker 2: You know. Yes, it is a pleasure being on the show.
- 34:56Speaker 2: I never watched before, and I think was good because
- 35:02Speaker 2: I came into that myself, all my vulnerabilities, like everything
- 35:11Speaker 2: was one hundred percent me and I honestly watched myself
- 35:15Speaker 2: there and I and I feel stronger now, I feel
- 35:18Speaker 2: more resilient. So it was a pleasure to be part
- 35:22Speaker 2: of that. And what's the dream? I also manifested be
- 35:25Speaker 2: in any defiancy, so so what's the dream that became true? Yeah,
- 35:29Speaker 2: it's very fun.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Well, thank you again, and everybody go follow Paulina and
- 35:34Speaker 1: I will let like I want, I will not let
- 35:37Speaker 1: I will link I will link all of her socials
- 35:40Speaker 1: here on this interview, so you can go and follow her,
- 35:43Speaker 1: follow her and see all her tiny things and all
- 35:45Speaker 1: her menifectations.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you, Mary pay Bye bye,
